Do just wanna say bc i checked the notes of that post about the gilded crown, while its wild that devs made the choice to add the item to the account and then lock it, like its understandable why they check the accounts of people who've won sought after/valuable items. If a person who is multiaccounting wins its a very bad look for devs because it seems like theyre rewarding a rule breaker who has an advantage in situations like roundseys raffle (not that that was what was happening this time to be very clear!!!). All this to say maybe if you have broken the rules in the past, maybe be careful moving forward when entering big item roundsey weeks. Theyre investigating past account activity of the winners of these highly valuable items now

#only if you have actually broken a rule though #seriously banxiety is understandable but in most cases people who get banned did actually break a rule #devs arent just gonna nuke u because you shared an ip address that one time #not to get into this but whether years old multi accounting for minimal benefit should even be a bannable offense is smth i think is...#questionable?#idk. like obviously they dont want a double standard/special treatment and then where do you draw the line and all that #but. i think it wouldnt hurt devs to reconsider how harsh their punishment on multiaccounting is #do it once and get ur account suspended/rolled back and the other account deleted. do it again and then u start locking the main account #but whatever im not gonna get into it #i have no stakes in it either ive never broken a rule to my knowledge... except bingus....

the thing about trying to recommend fiction podcasts to someone who isn't familiar with them is that not only are so so many genres represented but also the level of production can fall anywhere from "basically an audiobook" to "major motion picture minus the pictures"

#original #idk just something i think about sometimes #you can read a description to get a sense of the genre/plot/vibe but you truly dont know What exactly youre getting into till you listen #with nonfiction podcasts it tends to be easier to get a read on whether its gonna be like. some buddies fucking around with a mic #or more like a whole documentary #or with fiction books there can be different framings but the actual makeup of the thing is almost always the same #idk what im saying at this point i need to stop putting so much bullshit in tags #whatever #audio drama
