I absolutely LOVE that we got a whole episode dedicated to Bree, Addison and Bucky omfg- we never actually got to see them working as a trio in the movies, since Bucky was like. The main antagonist in the first 2 and fucked off to hang out with the wolves in the 3rd. So I'm glad we're getting some of that here!

And since we ALSO got an episode dedicated to just the wolves, I hope we get one for the zombie trio in the future, too. We've gotten more of the 3 of them hanging out than we have of the main 3 cheerleaders, but it'd still be cool to get an episode on them :)

Unfortunately I don't think there's gonna be an alien trio episode... unless they decide to bring A-li and A-lan in for one episode and then send them back to the void with the 'aceys?

okok finally caught up on litg s9

gonna try to summarize this neatly bc my game didn't save properly and I played volume 10 twice and sped through volume 11

Zeph is hot and thats a problem for me bc I'm so annoyed at the lack of branching and consequences in this game it has manifested into me making up story for fusebox about MC being upset that Stefan keeps acting like nothing is wrong when I personally am still upset casa amor got Chen dumped (ok that was my fault technically but only bc I wanted him to come back to drama). So now I'm like MC should have a summer fling with Zeph, why not

they're so wishy washy about how Kelly and Finn broke up and it just all feels like hearsay all the time. at the end of volume 11 they seem to decide Kelly thought it was all done pretty respectfully but her comments in volume 10 about movie night seem to disagree??? just asking for a little bit of consistency since I gotta track other people's drama other than my own

also so sorry to kelly who is actually interested in zeph and I am less so interested in him and more just annoyed at the bad writing for stefan

the writing has always been stilted and/or cringe but for some reason I notice it especially with Zeph, like it does feel like his dialogue was written by AI unfortunately. And it puts me off his character a lot, except, again, he's hot and so maybe I'm just like hey don't hurt your pretty head trying to think up romantic scenarios, Zeph. Something odd about him too is he doesn't mention any previous connection to Love Island, and I know he's a new character, but at least Henri and Chen talked about their last times on the show.

I don't know what surprise we're getting next volume but for my own storyline I kinda want the guy dumped post casa to come back. like I'd go back to Chen easy. but this is my delusional ass still just hoping we get drama from casa bc they dropped the ball on it again this season. Curious about talent show but considering how they fucked up Mr Love Island I have little hope.

I forgot this meant we'd have to deal with eddie. hes there like Johnny/Nicolas to the point where I almost prefer if it was one of them around but at least his chaos run makes more sense than johnny/Nicolas just randomly deciding to stir shit out of nowhere after leading MC on and the game forcing us to couple with them.

said this before but if eddie was gonna show up for heart rate challenge why didn't he do a little dance? is it because he sucks as a bombshell??? YEAH. It makes so much more sense to switch him and Zeph, like yeah that would mean we have less time with zeph and more with Eddie, but Zeph could put on a good heart rate challenge performance and Eddie could be way more catty and start shit during movie night than Zeph who wanted to play nice.

I'm so sad to say goodbye to Finn because it felt like he didn't get a good chance (unless MC is pursuing him I guess). but compared to Hamish, who, even if he got dumped here, would've had a lifelong friendship with MC and Natasha and had multiple chances to couple with people, it feels sad to see him go without a good ending. I mean I guess he's got closure with Kat and Kelly, but he felt always stuck in those couples whereas Hamish tried to explore connections with Natasha, Uma, and Melissa. I just think we should've let him punch Eddie in the face after eddie was so mean to Kat and MC.

I've decided to watch the hamish route vicariously through yall and I'll go for wither zeph or Stefan unless something else wild happens until the finale. so yall better tell me what happens it was such a hard decision when the game narrowed it down 🥺

I also think it would be great if we had chats with characters to decide who we're sticking with. like this season aside from maybe the beginning henri/chen/MC/Melissa thing, it feels like one of the other girls always asks you "who do you want to be chosen by" and then you tell her and that person picks you, but then you never address it or outright reject the other person face to face. it's always just like two sentences or just "a sad look" or a gem scene I'm not paying for.

one positive thing I've seen this last volume though is the mini date with your LI before Zeph's date. like its one of the better scenes they've written that isn't just someone outright saying I like you or just chatting. like its fun, and the only other moment I can think of that's similar that doesn't cost gems is the Hamish eavsdropping scene. now if only this was also tailored to your LI because as someone coupled with Stefan, low key unexpected, but imagine if I had picked Henri??

also a lot more choices this volume were worth 10 gems I think

that being said the amount they're asking for in the heart rate challenge is crazy for literally one scene because MC's outfit is like 14+ gems, then you van go for am extra 10 to see your male LI's outfit, and then another extra 10 for the female LI outfit. and this hardly changes the gameplay or gives you more info 🙃

More fun things since I keep digging into this fandom, I'm sorry for the out of order rant in your ask box- Sorry, interrogation room T-T Theres a livestream made by robiirosie and this Vtuber talked a bit about the korean context of the Ivantill version of Oh My Clemantis, mentioning how Till's speech, in that context, is rather of someone quite comfortable with the other person, even though he keeps telling him to stfu There was a tumblr post as well regarding the translation of the song and how Ivan's part are actually much softer and less, you could call it "carnal" or "extreme" than the actual translation in the video, indicating that he's pretty much accepted the fact, a long while ago that Till, in his eyes, isn't feeling the same or anything at all towards him. We know that Till is a pretty heartfelt person from the little comics and little flashbacks etc, so he might very much, from all the context, end up feeling really bad after Round 6 Also notice how in Round 2, the shock collar Till wears looks like a noose, and how Till doesn't visibly wear one. Almost as if foreshadowing that Till was supposed to die, but since he doesn't Technically have a choice of even that (IVAAAAAN), the one who has "no collar" can intervene in that choice. Another food for thought: Notice how for Mizi, Till sings pretty much in English, but without Mizi, he sings in Korean. While composing the melody in Round 2, Till wears black, he probably was in a similar hard place, as he was shown without a guitar. It's interesting that he also wears black in Round 6. And the final thing I noticed, if you go and watch TOP 3, the order at the end is the following: Till and Ivan, Luka and Hyuna, and Mizi is the "winner". I believe, that since we already got Till VS Ivan... We're gonna get Luka VS Hyuna and Mizi remains the only one alive by the end of it all.

I also noticed that for a very distanced duo, in canon Ivantill are very casual with each other (even when you never mind the times that Till isn't awake), and in the ivantill my clematis cover during the TalksvsListens.exe scene this is shown perfectly clear. I'm very confident in my take that Ivan and Till were very close friends when they were kids, and even though they're seemingly not as close anymore at the moment, they still carry a casual air around them, to the point where Till is still comfortable throwing jabs at Ivan like he did when they were younger (which isn't something he's shown doing in canon, much.) I'd even call the "man stfu" from Till affectionate if I didn't sound delusional so I'll just move from there

And yeah, Ivan is totally under the assumption that Till doesn't like him anymore in any sense (which is something i, *loud buzzer incorrect sfx* don't believe) My Clematis cover was kinda a mix of a goodbye and a "one more time.." song, with the way Ivan sung it. (one more time being, one more time trying to see where he stands in till's life. and Till is barely active in the last bits of the song when it actually counts, so in a way *figuratively* that was all Ivan needed to know)

And the collar noose symbolism omagah i could go on for ages not only did the noose show the intensity of Till's imprisonment in alien stage, so intense that it would(ve) killed him one day, (And in the way that his heart is disconnected from his head, he used his heart to go back to Mizi and therefore tie the noose disconnecting what he knew was right to what he wanted, all for her.)

And as you said anon, it also shows for some good symbolism/foreshadowing for Ivantill, Till always had that collar on, Ivan was always taking that collar off, Till was always meant to stay collared and eventually die, but as the one with the freedom, Ivan basically defied Till's fate for him and (metaphorically) put the collar on himself, taking Till's fate as his own. (I HATE YOU IVAN!!)

oh yeah and about the lyrics thing, truly Till could've just been feeling bilingual for the fuck of it while writing Till the end, but I'd like to read it as him putting up an image for Mizi, coordinating into someone who (not really) himself to impress her and his true self, but on stage with Ivan, they were there raw, authentic selves. there was nobody to impress (not anymore)

and so for the TOP 3 video holyyy shit. first of all, if you're onto something I assume Mizi and Hyuna would have to get caught and recaptured for that to happen, Till would have to get K.O. and then Hyuna will get her round with Luka as originally planned, she'll get K.O. then Mizi will go back up against Luka, win with the power of Yuri depression and be the sole winner. That's an interesting idea...but I don't know if it's a very likely situation? well, it kinda is since Hyuna is injured and the Guards are out trying to find them it's a strong possibility. Okay, I have some thoughts. Especially since people seem to have forgotten a few things. Like this isn't the first trailer.

This was in the first trailer, which also revolved around Zack's supposed survival. It also brings up Cloud's fragile mental state. We know he's delusional. We've seen it. Cloud dragging that sword to Midgar in CCR, EC and then being shown at the station with Tifa bringing him out of his zombie state, which the devs have said is canon to Remake.

If Zack's alive and dumped Cloud on Kyrie, and kept his sword, how did Cloud get it and himself to S7? And do people really believe Zack would dump Cloud on a stranger? Or is that something more in line with the pessimistic Cloud who believes eventually everyone will abandon him because he's just "not good enough"?

We're supposed to believe Elmyra is talking to Zack here because we can see her in the BG. She's not talking to him though.

Zack being assumed alive is how they've portrayed him the entire time. That's part of the mystery that needs solving for Cloud to be whole. It's the same as calling Cloud a soldier when he isn't, and saying Biggs, Wedge and Jessie are dead when we were shown Biggs alive at the end of Remake.

You can't take that info at face value.

i think the separation is that smut and things in the written sphere are like obviously completely fictional- and thats what makes it okay and different from jokes about namjoon's hickey. purely because the former underminds what namjoon the person wants and the first just talks about namjoon the charecter in an authors eye.

like while there are certainly some y/n reader insert fanfics that lean into the fanservice and delusional aspect of it- i don't think the vast majority of the people who write fanfic legitimately think the events in the story happened in physicality. how many fics have you seen where like yoongi's a tentacle monster and jimin's a hapless victim? like no one thinks that shit is real. just because i write a fic where jungkook has bunny ears doesn't mean he's actually a hybrid or that hybrids exist. People aren't going to confuse reality here.

but when we argue about what the boys actually say and if they're really lying to us- that is involving the real namjoon in a different way than fiction is. it's not fictional and it's not done with his wishes in mind. like i don't understand why people are so committed to not beliving him.

to bring this back to fanfiction, like i don't know if namjoon has a big dick or not, the same way i don't know how big joel in the last of us is- but the nature of fiction is that it is always speculative. if namjoon irl said "i have a big dick" and we said "no i think you have a small dick" that would be INFINITELY more problematic. it's real people vs fictional people. the version of namjoon that i write about doesn't exist, the one people make hickey jokes about does and his privacy is being violated to sate the need to know about his private life.

making jokes about namjoon's hickey is not specultive fiction, it's speculative reality, it's questioning namjoon the person not namjoon the character. and you can't not admit that the joking back and forth creates this dynamic between people who are possessive of them and people who aren't. there is a certain sense of one up man ship where people are like "i'm going to prove it to you that he actually is dating" "finally all the crazy fans can go away now that he's come out with a hickey," "namjoon is getting it all you people can go stfu" (all things ive seen on twitter tbh)

i feel like this dynamic is a result of the misogyny that female fans are treated with- like according to the media we're all stereotyped as teenagers who have crushes on people who will never know we exist. and certain fans have different reactions to it. One is to completely reject the idea of army being possessive over them and hunt down the people who do or in stalkers case- hunting down namjoon to expose his private life, either to sell to the media to prove he is in a relationship. or to sell it to the sassengs who want to confirm or deny the existence and nature of his private time.

there is nothing revolutionary about not believing that namjoon's bruise is a bruise- the only thing that tells me about you is that you don't believe namjoon and have his best interest at heart.

it comes down to what are we willing to do to prove what we believe is real, which is why personally- i think we should only accept info about irl bts's private life from them, and ignore any other 'hints' that we may get until they're confirmed. as far as i'm concerned, i belive bts. they don't want to talk about their relationships? then for all of my concerns i don't care about it. i won't wonder, i won't go looking at jungkook's gym to find out if he ever comes with anyone, i won't go to an art museum in the hopes that namjoon might be there. i certainly wouldn't book a train ticket or purchase information. if they want to shout from the roof tops about how much they love a girl they met in a coffee shop? i will gush with them.

speculation about their private lives and information about their private lives should be given to us fans on their terms and in their timeframe. Not because someone stalks them. it comes down to respecting a boundary.

bts have never set the boundary that they didn't want fanfiction made about them- in the case of hyyh and the bts world game- they outright encouraged fictional fan driven content- even the highlight reels are representative of this- beautiful pictures of fiction that fan creators can take and mold.

on the other hand they've certainly created a boundary about their private lives and what they're willing to share with us. they don't want us to speculate about it because it only causes shit like this.

long rant over; TLDR- fanfiction's are fictional for a reason, saying namjoon is lying is not fiction. believe bts and what they say or don't say about their private lives and move on.

He glanced at Victor for a moment before looking back at her.

You’ve changed my life for the better, and I’m sorry I didn’t get to repay the favor. It’s been an honor being in your life, and I wouldn’t trade that for anything. I’ll be spending the rest of my life burning in Hell, but my time here on Earth, as messy and chaotic as it was, was pretty good because you were part of it. I love you.”

Irina gulped, feeling her eyes well with tears. Her words echoed in his ears as she pulled the trigger, “I love you too. I’m sorry.”

Irina froze for a moment, taking everything in before pulling the trigger. Wallace fell to the ground in an instant, a hand on his chest.

"Raise your weapon," Victor whispered to Irina, who did as much, "Come on now, come closer. I'll have my daughter lower her weapon if you do."

"Give me one reason I should trust that."

Irina's heart fluttered as she heard the voice, lowering her weapon on impulse. Victor scowled at her as a foot came into the light, and then legs, and then a chest, and finally, a head.

He could hardly believe his eyes: "Dexter."

"Hello, grandfather," he replied, a sharp glare on his face. Irina did her best to suppress a smile of pride.

"You're dead," Victor spat out in shock, "You should be dead. How are you standing here?"

"Well, as you can see, I'm not dead. Points for trying, though. You really did a number on me."

"Irina," the older man boomed. She lifted her gun in response. Victor took a step closer to the young man.

"What a fun sight," Victor grinned, "a stalemate between mother and son. I know you wouldn't dare harm your mother…but she'll do what I say if she knows what's good for her."

Victor took a step closer, covering his daughter, "This is it for you, dear boy. Whatever plan you came up with to subdue me won't work. I had your mother take your father out, and I'll have her do the same to you. It would've been more prudent to have stayed in the shadows, because now, all that recovery will be for nothing. Goodbye, Dexter. I hope you enjoy burning in Hell."

Me: Once again I have to say it must be fun to Victor because why does he think Irina would kill her own son? The very son she was devasted over him trying to kill in the first place🥴

He held up a hand, "Now, my dear. Fire!"

The room stood still for a brief moment. Dex's eyes widened as he saw the bullet rip past him, striking the wall. Victor grabbed his side, clutching it as he fell to his knees. The young man looked between his grandfather and mother, who lowered her gun and rushed to them both.

"Mom-" Dex began as she pulled him away.

"Shh," Irina hissed, "we need to go. Let's get Anna and Valentin and-"

The world stopped again. Irina let go of her son's arm, her hands clutching her stomach. She doubled over in pain, lying flat on her back.

Me: ......I'm on the way

"You…" Victor hissed as he got to his feet, "you worthless bastard spawn."

Dex felt Johann's forearm press harder against his neck. Anna and Valentin squirmed, trying to free themselves.

"All you have done is cause misery," Victor growled, "You broke apart the family, you actively interfered with my plans, and above all else, you still have air in your lungs."

"Your very existence is unnatural," Victor got in his face, "a black mark on our legacy. Helena should've gutted you when she had the chance, and I should've followed through after using you to bring your bleeding heart mother back. You won't evade death this time, young man. Your father's dead, your mother's dying, and you're the next to go. Enjoy these final moments while you still can."

Victor shakily aimed the gun at his grandson's head, his finger slowly pulling the trigger. The gun fell to the ground, going off and striking Johann in the leg. Dex fell to his knees, gasping for air. He looked at Johann, who struggled to get up, before looking to Victor, his eyes widening at the sight.

The old man laid still, a bullet wound present on his neck. His eyes were wide and glossy, blood leaking from his mouth. Dex looked to his left, seeing a pair of dark brown hiking boots. His eyes traveled up until he saw Wallace's face, determined and cold as the gun was perfectly aimed. There was a hole in his shirt, exposing a bit of his bulletproof vest's black padding. In the shock of the incident, Anna and Valentin seized the moment to free themselves, twisting the goons' arms and knocking them to the ground. They rushed into the middle of the action.

"Oh my God," Anna sighed, looking at Wallace, "You…you-"

"I know what I did, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat," Wallace replied, his voice deep, "His reign of terror is over…for good."

Me:

Like wow...

Dex," Wallace called out, stepping over Johann's body and dropping to his knees, "Dex, hey."

The young man's vision began to blur, a hand slowly landing on his chest, "D…Dad-"

His heart…verdammt… Wallace thought anxiously as he pulled Dex into his arms, "It's going to be okay."

"M-Mom-"

"I know, I know. She's getting help."

"But-" his breathing was shaky as his chest ached. Black spots clouded his vision as his father cradled him from the waist up, "Aah-"

"Anna and Valentin are with her, they're getting her help. Your mother's going to be okay. Worry about you."

"She…she was sh-shot-"

"And you're having a heart attack. Please, son, worry about yourself."

Me:

"Help's on the way," Anna walked over to the men, "The WSB's sending agents to take in the rest of Victor's grunts and ambulances are on the way."

"Anna-" Dex gasped out, "My…m-mother-"

"She's still alive," Anna crouched down, "She's hanging on; she's not going anywhere."

"I…I-" Dex blinked slowly before looking up at Wallace. The man stared back, a reassuring smile on his face. On impulse, he wrapped his arms around his father's shoulders, holding him close.

"Thank you," he sighed.

"No need," Wallace replied, hugging him back, "This was all you."

Me: 🥹

He squeezed Dex a little tighter, "Ich liebe dich, mein kleiner Bär. Ich liebe dich so sehr."

"Ich…liebe dich auch…" Dex felt a wave of relief rush through him, his vision blurring further before his eyes fluttered closed. His hold on Wallace loosened, and the hand he left on his father's shoulder slid off, going limp. Wallace felt his son slump against him, and he slowly pulled away to examine him. He gently shook the young man, panic slowly but surely coursing through his veins.

His voice cracked as he spoke: "...Dex?"

Me: So yeah i've decided that the Heller family will be the death of me.😄

Y'know, I was on her side. I truly was. Because she didn't do a damn thing wrong in this quest during the first act. She was her typical grumpy self, but she helped out and didn't cause any trouble. And when it came down to it, the inciting incident that led to her getting angry...that wasn't her fault either. Seriously, the White Hippogriff game is just...I'm speechless. Did Merula gloat a bit about taking the Exploding Snap game back from Ben? Sure. But if anyone was "whining" in this quest, it was Ben, right after this happened. I know, he was excited about his gift, and disappointed that he lost it. But that is literally how the game is supposed to work, and Merula even points this out. She didn't do anything wrong. "Stealing" is part of the game, and I don't blame Merula for feeling targeted after she was pressured to give the Exploding Snap back. That wasn't really fair to her at all. I know Ben had his personal reasons, but he didn't explain them, and also, um...they're nonsense. Ben used to play Exploding Snap when he was "younger?" As in, back when he was timid as a mouse and scared of his own shadow? He used to love Jumpscares, the card game? I don't buy that. And then Penny takes it much too far by calling Merula a bully, just for standing up for herself.

Of course, then Merula just has to go and make a fool out of me for defending her. She just has to play the role of the villain even though she was, by all counts, in the right....by setting the party on fire. She caused a fucking fire in the Clubroom. Merula! What. Are. You. Doing. This is why people don't like you! Seriously, how did Diego and MC have McGonagall on their case about trashing the Dragon Clubhouse by accident, and no one ever worries that the Sphinx Club will be shut down, after Merula sets everything on fire out of spite? Damn it Merula, I was on your side! And then Penny starts crying, and the whole thing is a distinctly uncomfortable mess. Y'know, these three characters do not combine well. Ben and Merula are already prone to argue, and Penny doesn't seem to able to handle it when they do...

Still, it sounds like you were on Ben and Penny's side even before the fire. And I don't blame you for that, we're all entitled to our opinions and plenty of people are well out of patience for Merula. I've given my reasons for why I don't think she was in the wrong, but it also plays into a more general discussion about whether or not she can fairly expect to be given the benefit of the doubt. Given her habits and history, I don't blame anyone for not doing so. But that doesn't mean I don't feel sympathy for Merula, who just doesn't want to be seen as the villain. Curiously, I can remember her expressing a similar sentiment back in Christmas II. When she resented that she was suspected of sabotaging the Ford Anglia. Some may shrug this off, because she was in fact guilty, but that wasn't really the point. Guilty or innocent, she was upset for being judged with no proof. I wonder if it's significant or not that these feelings emerge during the winter holidays.
