That random choice in Gryffindor Celebration TLSQ

I Find the third choice of the game so random... but definitely jeni as a romantic would say at that situation 🤣. As always, Ben unconsciously brushes off jeni's feelings... again. The two gryffindor girls at the back was from charms class that the mc help, they were kind and sweet girls to mc that its hard for me to forget so i gotta include them here at least. Also there was a ben and ismelda moment in this tlsq, and here I am thinking there would be a sweet moment of the two. But it ended up ben blackmailing ismelda for being stubborn but the mc stopped ben. Like wth was that, i thought they would enhance the two's relationship that they randomly started but they didn't??? Im disappointed again.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY STUPID CHILD I DID NOT EXPECT TO GET ATTACHED TO, JANE CLEVE

I also took this chance to spill some lore about my MC's life. Warning: There's going to be information from things that happen and don't happen in later years. So proceed with your own caution and will.

Now storytime :D

6th birthday. 1979 is a happy year for baby Jane. She's not very aware of what's happening out in the wizarding world, and her family is not aboard on letting her know.

She happily celebrates her birthday just like the years before, her mom makes a cake, her dad helps her, and Jacob is by her side, as he says he will always be.

11th birthday. Things are gloomy in the Cleve household. Jacob has been reported missing for many months. The father, saying he couldn't take the situation, left. Leaving the house that was meant for four, to the mother Loraine and Jane.

Loraine, not being able to bear her son and husband's disappearance, turned to calming draughts and other substances that she thought would release her from her pain.

Jane's 11th birthday was lonely, she had gotten her Hogwarts acceptance letter earlier that day but didn't say anything. She's determined to go and find out what happened to her brother. As of that day, she wanted to spend it with the newer version of her mother, and a cupcake, cause as Loraine says, "There's no need for a big cake since there's only one to eat it."

12th birthday. A school year has passed and little Jane is confident she's on the right track. With her new friends by her side, Rowan, Ben and Penny, she believes her Hogwarts years will be much better than she anticipated.

13th birthday. Another curse has been broken and another friend has been collected. The fight will the Ice Knight had earned Jane a scar, small that looks like nothing. After the fight, Loraine has acknowledged Jane's well being and she's pleased she can rely on her friends. Bill has noticed the Cleve family is a bit off but pretends not to notice for his friend's day.

14th birthday. Jane begins to be more familiar with her friend-magnet gift. Her 3rd year was tough, with people facing their worst nightmare, but that doesn't stop them from breaking the curse. The gang has suprised Jane with a cake. It can't stand like a proper cake but she doesn't care, she's happy to be surrounded with people she loves.

15th birthday. The school year could have had a better conclusion. Jane is upset cause she was certain Jacob would be found in that cursed vault. To make things better, Loraine grounded her for the whole summer, both for the fact she had to serve detention and in hopes she'll drop the cursed vaults.

So for her birthday, Jane was alone once more. Well, kinda. The whole night she'd get letters from all of her friends. Some were even personally delivered by a certain bird boy that may or may not have wanted to see her.

16th birthday. Everybody is uneasy. Rakepick's betrayal had hurt the children deeply. Jacob had finally shown himself but his reunion with Jane had not been as sweet as she wanted. She's angry yes, and sad as well, but the cursed vaults are still out there and she has no time to waste with talking about her feelings.

17th birthday. Things have really gone downhill. Sure, the curse has been lifted. And Rakepick is in Azkaban. But their group is broken with two dear friends being gone by the Green Curse. She blames herself, she was there when it happened, she could have done something.

Everyone says it's not her fault, hell, even Merula and Ismelda. She's scared she can't protect anybody anymore. She's scared she won't be able to fight not only evil witches and wizards, but also a disease that has hit her gravely.

18th birthday. HAH SIKE THEY'RE ALIVE.

Things are much better for the gang. Rowan and Ben have awoken from their coma, Peregrine is gone and R has been defeated. Jane's health condition is not the best, but in general life is becoming more peaceful.

19th birthday. The gang has taken their own roads but still meet up for old time's sake. To celebrate birthdays and successes, or support eachother when things are not going to well.

After everything they've been through, with R, Peregrine, ROCC cases and Jacob, Jane has finally reached a point where she genuinely believes that they will be happy. That they will be okay.

Commissions for Hogwarts Mystery I did back in 2018! (1/2)

Wanted to include a photo of the parents alongside the kids, so here's my take on their appearances as of 2008. Knowing me, some stuff might get changed up later on, but for now I'm happy with these results.

The Copper Family

Well before the first Beyond Hogwarts leaks, I've always envisioned Ben becoming an Auror and growing a full-on dad beard once the kids were born. While he's mellowed down considerably from his edgy teen days, he's still more than capable of getting dangerous if he has to.

Ismelda herself would use her Doll Magic and make a business out of selling custom dolls. True to her roots, she'd also use them to scare off any rude kids and annoying neighbors. She especially enjoys messing with the local Karens.

Sometimes people around them are left wondering how the two ever got together given how drastically different they appear to be.

The Celestia-Winger Family

So fun fact, Talbott's height actually stops at Reina's shoulders, but I made him taller for the pic cuz otherwise it'd look really funny to me.

Sometime after getting married, they considered having no more than two kids to see how things would pan out. The universe had other plans and they instead had their quads lol It was a nice surprise, and they cherish their baby birds.

Reina works at her bakery and after the Battle of Hogwarts, Talbott switched from being an Auror himself to becoming a Healer. Wanting to be there for his family, he wanted to have a career that wouldn't put his life at risk anymore.

Ricardo De Los Santos and Naomi McDaniels

The two didn't really get the chance to become a family as Naomi had Ascended into an Angel and had to reach the Departure shortly after Rel was born. As it marked the end of her human lifespan, she was essentially dead.

The pair met in Las Vegas in 1993. Ricardo went there to get over Chester dumping him, while Naomi had been there with her group of "friends" that quickly ditched her. Deep down she knew that her time was coming to an end, so she was there to live out her final days as much as possible.

The two enjoyed each other's company and hooked up almost instantly. Thanks to some drunken shenanigans, they find out they were expecting. They decided to confide in each other and told their biggest secrets, with Naomi learning that he was a Wizard, and Ricardo realizing she had Ascended and was on her final days as a human.

Her Departure gets delayed due to her pregnancy, and they're aware she'll pass on once the baby is born. In the year they got to know each other, they grew very close. She got the chance to hold their daughter and gave Ricardo the idea to name her after his late older sister Rel. Ricardo would see her off once the Departure was initiated.

He always remembers her fondly and has a memorial for her at his home. Rel was told about her mom once she was old enough, and loves her all the same.

The first time that Ben Copper saw Amelia Goldstein he was eleven years old and scared of his own shadow. She was, perhaps, the prettiest girl that he’d ever seen. Certainly, she was one of the most unusual girls he’d ever seen. And yeah, that scared him, although not nearly as much as her reputation as that cursed kid did. 

He certainly hadn’t had the courage to approach her himself. Not while he was trying to figure out a brand new world with a lot of terrifying possibilities and talking to a pretty girl was one step too far for eleven-year-old him. So, he’d pushed those thoughts out of his head because, really, why would she ever approach him? Even if they were both Gryffindors, Amelia Goldstein was clearly much stronger than Ben would ever be.

The first time that Ben Copper met Amelia Goldstein he had fallen off his broom… for like the fiftieth time that class alone. Now, in Ben’s defense, flying was terrifying. You could fall and kill yourself. And these brooms didn’t look that sturdy. He’d quietly noticed that Amelia had mastered the art of simple broomstick flying within the first month of classes. A small, silent part of him was jealous. He didn’t much care for that part of himself. As the fifth child out of six, Ben had realized that jealousy was not something to indulge. All it did was make more fights and Ben hates fighting with his siblings. 

“Do you need any help?” The girl’s voice startled Ben out of his thoughts.

He looked down at the broom and sighed. “Yes, please. I’d really appreciate it.”

The first time that Ben Copper was kissed by Amelia Goldstein, he was twelve. And it wasn’t so much a kiss kiss as it was a peck on the cheek, but Ben was still left thinking about that moment for weeks. It was the eighth night of Hanukkah that year and Amelia had offered to share it with him as they were not yet on break. They’d been given a special, and temporary, pass to break curfew and use one of the empty classrooms for their traditions. It wasn’t perfect, but it did feel special. The room was filled with soft flickering candlelight from the menorah. Dancing lights were cast across Amelia’s face, highlighting the golden spun in her light brown hair. It drew him in a surprising way. After all, he’d always felt a little funny towards Amelia but it wasn’t romantic was it? 

“Thank you for lighting the menorah with me. It made this Hanukkah feel a little better than it would have if I was alone,” Amelia said, breaking their cozy bubble of silence. It was weird, just how comfortable and safe Ben had felt in that silence. 

“Oh, it was no problem. I likely wouldn’t have observed much of Hanukkah otherwise. Passover was always the big holiday in our house,” he replied. “The Hanukkah story is better though. Oil burning for eight nights is a lot less scary than ten plagues!”

Amelia laughed and leaned over to press her lips gently to his cheek. Heat blossomed in his cheeks and he knew that his face would be a bright red.

The first time that Ben Copper celebrated Hanukkah while married, he was nineteen. They were young. He knew that. She knew that. But they both knew that this was it for them. They’d been together since Hogwarts and had gone through more ups and downs and angst than most other couples their age. They’d been married for approximately six months, and as he’d decorated for Hanukkah, he’d wanted this to be perfect. Despite being married, he and Amelia hadn’t had much time to just be together. Between his training as a hit wizard and Amelia’s training as a cursebreaker, they hadn’t had much time to be with each other. 

He grinned as he set the gift down on the table. He’d painstakingly wrapped it in dark blue paper with a white bow. He’d wrapped it in the dead of night to make sure that Amelia didn’t see it by accident. He wanted to be sure that this gift was a surprise. This was to be their first official gift as a married couple and Ben wanted it to be perfect, especially for the first night. 

“Happy Hanukkah, Ben.” He started at the sound of Amelia’s voice. He turned to face her, a grin breaking out over his face. 

“Happy Hanukkah, Amelia,” he responded, reaching over to squeeze her hand. “I got you this.” He grabbed the gift and thrust it towards Amelia.

She let go of his hand and reached over to take it from him. Then, she placed a gift bag into his hands. He grinned, placed the bag on the table, and he prompted her to open the gift he’d given her. She ripped the paper open and gasped as she opened the box.

“Oh, Ben. This is lovely!” she gushed, pulling out the gold heart necklace.

“I’m glad you like it,” he said, his face coloring.

“Put it on?” 

He took the necklace from her hands and gently swept her hair away from the back of her neck. He gently hooked the necklace around her neck. 

“You look pretty,” Ben said quietly. 

“Open yours,” Amelia said. 

Ben lifted up the gift bag and gently pulled out the white tissue paper. He pulled out the box and grinned as he opened it. A pair of silver Star of David cufflinks stared back up at him. 

“Thank you, Amelia. But this is almost too much,” he said, staring in awe at the cufflinks.

“It’s not, Ben. You deserve it. And if the cufflinks  are too much, then clearly the necklace is too much too.” 

Ben sighed. “I guess you’re right. They’ll be great to wear to some of the fancier events that we need to attend.”

“Happy Hanukkah, Ben.”

“Happy Hanukkah, Amelia.”
