Y’all reading the newest chapter scans is like whiplash

I forgot how unhinged he can be, and tbh how much more unhinged he’s currently being.

Anyway Izuku is my favorite character so, sorry y’all, I know everyone is excited about Katsuki

However. Everyone else can talk about Katsuki. I live on my scraps.

Love how Shigaraki tries to get a dig at Izuku about Katsuki like how Monoma did when he unlocked blackwhip, so his immediate reaction is diverge diverge diverge.

Talk about repressed but this is a whole new level.

And his eye bags, they just make him look so exhausted.

I said this before but the chapter after Katsuki woke up Izuku looked relieved to me yes, but also… very scared. Very afraid of Katsuki’s well being.

Especially since, if we compare what Katsuki is doing now (using the pain as an extension of his quirk), you could EASILY COMPARE to when Izuku unlocked danger sense with shigaraki. How concerned and afraid Katsuki was in those chapters.

The thing is though, Katsuki was honest. He was honest that Izuku shouldn’t be doing this on his own, he’s being honest now—“I’m Kacchan of the Bakugou’s!”

He knows how he’s feeling and he’s letting himself feel it.

Somehow, Izuku still isn’t.

Hell, when afo ignores Katsuki, what he does is laugh about how much pain he’s in, but that it’s the key.

Let’s compare how Katsuki is using pain to how Izuku is using pain with danger sense. Let us not forget, danger sense is a physically taxing quirk, much like the rest of ofa. It causes a migraine when in any immediate danger.

Idk about y’all, but I get migraines so bad sometimes I vomit from the buildup of pressure. I can’t focus on anything. I just cant really imagine Izuku using danger sense that well in a fight… yet he does.

And, what exactly is danger sense for? To get out of danger? Maybe to avoid the danger? Ofa is an extension of Izuku’s inner turmoil, every single quirk exhibits this, and it would make so. Much. Sense. For danger sense to mimic his avoidance of emotions and vulnerability.

Katsuki’s quirk as it is now uses pain in a very odd way to me—he doesn’t try to use it to exit himself from the danger or pain, but actively searches for it. The pain is the key.

Danger sense is also a relatively self serving quirk, only really useable for himself. And for him to reference danger sense of all his quirks rn, it would make sense since…

Izuku has been self serving and avoidant since before even this fight. Hell, before even the war arc. Maybe this has gone on his entire life.

I want to hit him so bad for this y’all don’t GET IT.

And, just so we all know, he did this in 348 too. When confronted with emotional conversations, his first thought will always be “but how’s the fastest way I can win this fight?”

Gwen knew almost immediately. Her brother couldn’t even look your way without a rosy pink dusting over his features. In fact, according to her anyone who couldn’t see his interest in you, must be blind. So, as any nice sister would do (according to her, again) she decides it’s a good idea to push and tease her brother until he finally asks you out.

During lunch, Gwen again catches Finney dozing off in your direction, she finds an opportunity.

“Finneyyyy” as she drags out his name he suddenly turns back to his food tray and with a monotone voice says “no” “I’m not going to ask her out” and Gwen suddenly turns to look at him pleadingly. “Oh come on Finney, you know you want to!” Finney rolls his eyes “plus, you know she might feel the same way about you, I’ve caught her looking at you a couple times, she’s also really nice to you, surely that means something” she adds.

“No, that barely says anything about how she feels about me, and if I do have a chance I don’t want to weird her out like that” Finney knows you most likely, wouldn’t ever find anyone weird, but like most, his insecurities blur his confidence in walking up to you. In doubt that you’ll end up finding him weird.

Finally, Gwen gives up, bored with the same lame excuse, but not without a final push. “Fine, you little scaredy cat” she goes back to finish drinking her small carton of orange juice and forgets the conversation.

However, for Finney he seems to have mixed feelings about what his sister called him. Obviously it’s normal behavior from his sister towards him but he starts to wonder that if anything his sister said was true, and you do like him somehow and your just waiting for him to make a move, would you also consider him a “scaredy cat.” So, he wonders and wonders, then finally comes up with a conclusion/ solution.

It’s the last bell of the day and Finney has worked to push away his doubts during his last classes, then finally by telling himself to stop being scared he’s all in with his plan.

Finney finds you rather quick waiting for your bus and he approaches you finding the opportunity to ask what he’s been anticipating and anxious about.

You quickly catch him walking up to you from the corner of your eye and turn to face him as he gets closer, and with a small smile and wave, you greet him.

“Finney, Hi!”

He returns and kindly accepts your greeting with his own shy one “Hey”

And so he figures he didn’t really come up with a plan to do this so you two are just standing there for a good few seconds. He realizes he’s backing down, but you start small talk and he appreciates it, as it gives him some time to recollect himself enough to finally ask you out.

“Do you wanna hangout some time?” And as casual and upfront as he said it, he felt like he was about to die. He didn’t lead up to the question and instead just interrupted you in the middle of your sentence.

Taken aback you take some time to fully comprehend what he just asked, and of course Finney takes it as a bad thing and instantly wants to leave to spare him the embarrassment of your rejection. You finally register what he asked you and you feel like your about to explode. You never made it super obvious but you did like Finney and have for about a little over a year. So you obviously say “Really? Ok! Yes, I’d like to hangout” and you also quickly add “When, Where, what time?”

Finney is shocked and surprised, he didn’t expect such a positive outcome, and he doesn’t really have all the answers but he knows they’ll come soon and so he just gives you his house phone number and asks if you can call him later, that way you guys can decide on a solid answer together.

i have A Lot of ocs, so it’s hard to pick just one favorite however i’ll give u a couple that i’m really attached to!

hya & amon — i mean it’s kind of obvious i’m obsessed with the two of them lol. they’re kind of a package deal and their dynamic drives me insane in the best way lol. individually, i’d say that i just enjoy how the two of them are so so shaped by their experiences and the lives that they’ve lead, but neither of them will necessarily acknowledge that? it feels realistic to me in a way; messy people who can’t escape the chains of their past until they face it but they just don’t Want to face it. they both are scared of being weak, but it’s really emotional vulnerability that helps pull them out of this loop that they’re in and that’s powerful to me. also their bickering and general attitudes are so fun to write and think about haha.

darren — genuinely i love how his real strength in this whole story is his emotional maturity and his ability to befriend and make connections with other people. he’s not the strongest one there, not by a long shot. but he’s on of the most stable person there; at peace with himself even despite learning things about himself that he never knew before. idk i just want more protags that are defined by their emotional strength lol. also he’s just fucking funny to me. love that guy.

clear brightendale — i don’t talk about tcol nearly as much as i should bc y’all don’t KNOW how obsessed i am with clear mother fucking brightendale he is ONE OF THE BIGGEST BLORBOS. he’s got trauma, he’s struggling, he wants to be good and has a twisty backstory where he feels like he’s terrible, he’s got sexuality trauma, i am imprinting on him i am turning him in the microwave i am kissing him bc he’s my ANGEL.

lath — also a super huge tcol blorbo for me (and a fave of henrike bc they’re intelligent) i just love his perseverance. i love how he’s both revered and feared. how he singlehandledly made it so tcol could even be possible like agH. i also love how off he is. like myths have hero’s sure but those heroes aren’t always like charismatic guys like in his lifetime lath was actually seen as super weird and people didn’t usually like hanging around him (he rarely ever blinks, he’s super blunt, he only really cares about fighting and combat — so many of my characters are autistic coded bc it’s what i deserve) but he!! is a hero. i’m like mad excited for when he actually shows up in the main storyline bc i’m obsessed with him,,

di & toph — similar to amon and hya they’re kind of a package deal. i’ve had and been obsessed with the two of them for so long, part of me kind of mentally refers to them as the precursor to amon and hya bc they kind of are! the only thing is they actually have a much easier time expressing (especially now in this new iteration of them in lukewarm rejection) how they feel about each other and caring for one another. they’re better adjusted. if darren and gabe are on the “super loving and supportive” and amon and hya are the “toxic but they’re good for each other” then di and toph are kind of the middle ground on that lol. toph was the biggest blorbo for the longest for me until hya came to mind lolol. but that punk rock boy will always reign supreme. i love how unapologetically himself he is, and his backstory with the chains no matter how i’ve done it is one of my favorite powers i’ve ever created tbh. di snuck up on me, but he’s similar to clear in the sense that he’s one of my horses for dealing with complex real world esque pain in a way. i love how hard he tries to forge a path for himself and to just be more confident in himself bc mood. and i love how he’s got many contradictions lol :’)

Summary: birthday surprises and confessions! This can be read as a part two to Nosebleed.

“Nikki?”

“Yeah?”

“Uh, I think I fucked up…” you turn half of your body to face him sheepishly.

Nikki looks over to you, then down at the dough you’ve been working on. Raising one eyebrow he asks, “you think?” which pulls a groan out of you.

“I didn’t mean to add this much water! It just spilled,” you pout at him.

As much as he wants to tease you, he isn’t really one to speak, he did just burn the sauce after all.

“Maybe we should call it a day and order some nice, greasy take out instead?” You usually don't like giving up so easily, but your hunger is outweighing your guilt at the moment.

You couldn’t figure out for the life of you why Nikki and you thought trying to make a homemade dinner was a good idea, especially one that’s new to you both. Initially, since he’s visiting you during his tour, you wanted to do something fun and cute so you could spend some quality time together.

Speaking of which, you still haven’t gotten over the stupid prank he pulled…

You’ve been running around like a headless chicken all day, cleaning your house, restocking your fridge and pantry, and generally redoing things to blow off some steam. You’re too excited, the joy zooming through your veins too fast, you couldn’t even go to the bathroom earlier in peace, body too jittery to hold still.

The cause of this? Your best friend. Well, your best friend who you’re completely and utterly in love with. God, can you get anymore cliché? Your friends—Tommy included, of course—love teasing you about your not-so-subtle crush, even going as far as trying to convince you that he loves you back. But you never listen; so afraid of rejection, you’ve convinced yourself that he can’t possibly love you back the way you do him. That doesn’t stop your traitor mind from wandering and dreaming. This has awarded you a smack upside the head multiple times, because, to put it in your friend’s words: “The boy wouldn’t be leaving in the middle of his tour just to spend your birthday with you if he didn’t have feelings for you, you idiot!”

And there’s the reason the butterflies in your stomach haven’t stopped fluttering for the past week. Nikki’s coming over for your birthday!

The shrill of the phone breaks you out of your daydreaming and has you jumping a foot into the air. “Hello?” your voice is a bit hoarse from the jump scare you just received, and lunging at the device.

“Am I interrupting something?” the voice on the other end comes through in a teasing manner, but if you weren’t so excited, you would have noticed that it sounded a little strained.

“Nikki, hi,” your voice is somehow even more breathy now. “Oh! Um, no, you aren’t interrupting anything. Well not really, I was just cleaning,” you aren't able to completely suppress the excited giggle that comes out. “Um, you know, just making sure you have a good area to sleep in.”

Nikki sighs, “about that…Look, sweetheart,” your stomach drops at his tone. “Something came up, I won’t be able to make it. Please don’t be mad, I’ll make it up to you, I swear.”

Your breath catches in your throat and a dark sadness washes over you like tar. You don’t know what to say, so all you’re able to come up with is a pathetic little, “oh.”

And that dejected “oh” nearly breaks Nikki’s heart. “I’m sorry, baby,” his voice drops to a low whisper, mad at himself for making you so sad.

“No, no, it’s okay. Don't worry, i-it’s not that big of a deal, I promise.” You can barely control your voice from cracking, tears threatening to spill. “Just call me tomorrow, okay?”

“I will—”

“Um, I gotta go. Have fun, and don’t worry. Bye” You only hear the beginning of your name spill from his lips before you’re hanging up the phone. You can’t stand to keep talking to him, knowing you’ll break down soon.

After ending the call, you just stand there, not sure what to do now. Your stomach has dropped to your toes and you feel like crumbling.

Though before you could fall into a pit of despair, there comes a rapid knocking on your front door. You’re tempted to ignore it and crawl into bed to be miserable in the comfort of your pillows and blankets, but the fucker is pretty insistant. So with the little energy you have left, you force yourself to go answer the door.

You don’t even have enough time to look up at the person before they’re yelling, “surprise!” Stunned by the sheer volume of the man, you take a step back.

There stands Nikki, in a loose t-shirt and shorts, both black of course. He’s got a bag on the ground and both arms thrown in the air.

“I-I thought you weren’t coming? You just called an-and…?”

“I lied! I thought I’d give you a surprise. I got an earlier flight and I used the payphone down the street to call you. But then you sounded so dejected on the phone and I felt so horrible, I didn’t wanna hurt your feelings! I just—I, uh, I rushed over.” Self-conscious about telling you too much and still a bit mad at himself for making you upset, Nikki looks down and rubs the back of his neck.

He barely catches himself when you throw yourself at him. “Oh, don’t you ever dare do that again. I was so heartbroken!” You squeeze him a little tighter and mumble against his neck, “I’m so glad you’re here, Nikki.” The next instant you’re grabbing his shoulders and pushing yourself back, “how have you been? How has the tour been? How are the guys? Please don’t tell me you and Tommy did anything too stupid.”

“Okay okay, let me in first! A man has to pee after being on a flight all day!”

That was a day ago, and now here you are, in his kitchen (having migrated to his house because his tv is “bigger, and better, and louder”) with a disaster in the making.

“Uh, you know what, that seems like a fantastic idea.” Nikki doesn’t need to be told twice, he’s already pouring what was supposed to be the sauce down the drain. “I think I’ve got some menus in that drawer over there,” he points to the end of the kitchen island with his chin.

You hand him the watery bowl to dump into the sink and grab the menus from the drawer he pointed out. Setting them on the counter in front of you, you ask Nikki what he’s in the mood for. Instead of getting an instant reply, you feel Nikki press up against your left side, one hand on the counter beside you and the other coming up to rub your right arm.

He rests his head on your shoulder to look at the menus. “We can get whatever you want, angel.” Nikki hears your breath hitch and feels you slightly tensing in his arms.

He doesn’t want to beat around the bush anymore: he likes you. God does he like you. Rarely did he meet someone that could brighten his day like you, and he knew that whenever someone like that crosses his path, he needs to hold on to them tight. He knew he liked you from the first moment you met, but it wasn’t until Mick pulled him to the side when he brought you over to meet the rest of Mötley Crüe, that Nikki realized just how much he wants you in his life. Especially for the long run.

Nikki distractedly turns his head towards Mick when he hears the older man say your name, while keeping his eyes on you, “hmm?”  

“You’re in love with Y/N, aren’t you?”

Nikki’s eyes widen and he chokes on the whiskey going down his throat, now fully paying attention to Mick. “I don’t-I’m not—”

“Oh come on, Sixx. You keep looking over there like a lovesick puppy. Man up and admit you’re in love.” With that, Mick grabs his vodka and leans back into the couch, closing his eyes.

Since that night, Nikki has been coming to terms with the truth, he is falling in love with you—no scratch that, he is in love with you! And it’s finally time to grow a pair and confess.

“I’m in love with you.”

You both freeze.

While Nikki was thinking back to the conversation with Mick, you were going through a mental gymnastics, and lo and behold: you twirled around—still in his arms—and blurted out the first thing that came to your mind.

After staring at each other for several silent seconds, Nikki intelligently replies, “fuck.” Then he’s laughing uncontrollably.

You’re standing there with eyes as wide as saucers and a heart rate out of this world. A couple seconds of watching him laugh like a maniac later, you release the breath you’ve had trapped in your lungs, and with it comes the tears.

The idiot, without noticing your wet eyes, cups your cheeks and presses a sweet kiss to your forehead. He says your name in a breath that sounds like the world’s weight has just lifted off of his chest, “I’m in love with you too.” The grin dies down on his face when he sees the first tear drop out of your eye. “Wh-what’s wrong?” his voice comes out panicky.

“I confess to you and your immediate reaction is to laugh at me?! You asshole!” Your brows are furrowed but the smile breaks through. “I take it back, I hate you,” you shove his shoulder fondly, gently pushing his body away from you.

He’s back to cupping your jaw and he’s placing kisses all over your face. “Sorry. I’m so, so sorry, angel. I love you. I love you. I love you so fucking much. I was about to tell you when you blurted it out first. I was just so damn happy, baby. I’m crazy about you.”

“I’m crazy about you too, Nikki. Since forever.”

The kiss he sweeps in to share with you has you momentarily forgetting about dinner.

It’s been a while

Let me tell y’all were I’ve been. Not that y’all care but let me tell y’all anyway. I hope y’all like a good storytime…

So I stopped playing choices bcus I kept falling asleep while reading those century long ass chapters. I just wanted to be able to sit down with a nice snack on a Friday night so I could really just read in peace & quiet. But I’m chaotic & unorganised so bcus of that I always have to catch up on schoolwork that I didn’t finish throughout the week, so after finishing my 2hr nightly routine I just fall right asleep.

Oh yeah I forgot, I went back to school in Sep. 2020 so I could no longer keep up with all of my hobbies, so obviously Choices & it’s drama ended up at the bottom of the list. Maybe that was a good thing bcus after the 2021/2 that I’ve had I don’t know what would’ve happened to me if I got myself involved in drama on top of the mess I’ve been going through.

So as it turns out…I’m actually not asexual/aroace….I was just traumatised😅. Nothing weird happened to me it’s just that I was a very scared & insecure child. Later on the development that I should’ve gone trough in my teens was stolen from me bcus I got bullied & maybe even discriminated (?) at the school I attended. Bcus of this I sort of developed this “I don’t care” mindset. Not even to defend myself, I literally didn’t care about any of the people who did this to me. In my eyes they were just miserable and had to blame somebody to make themselves feel better. It took me a while to realise that, just bcus I didn’t see it as bullying, that did not mean that I wasn’t getting bullied….bcus I was. And it affected me more than I was personally aware of.

This and the fact that, like I said I was a scared & insecure child, made it so that basically everything that involved deep feelings, some that I had never experienced myself, caused me to get resentful & disgusted. It’s not fun when you’re a kid, saying you’ll never kiss somebody & all your older cousins, aunts, uncles & even your mom come at you with “that’ll change when you get older” talk. And you just keep trying to make it clear to them that you’re not comfortable with these types of jokes but they just don’t listen bcus they don’t realise it’s not a joke to you.

So anyway what happened was, this guy from my class started talking to me. Our conversations were online bcus of COVID. Last school year he switched majors so we were no longer in the same classes so I met him in person twice & very briefly, which made it hard for me to figure him out. Now idk what happened I still don’t know how to explain but I caught feelings🤡. We were always just joking around & he used to send me flirty messages & stuff but I was aware that it was just jokes so it didn’t do nothing for me. I see people for who they really are, not for who they want ppl to think they are. Even trough text, I consider it one of my many talents. So I guess I caught feelings for this guy bcus I really saw HIM yk…?

It got to a point were I didn’t know what to do with myself, so I told him. Hoping he’d either bite or reject me. I was leaning more towards reject so I could leave these feelings behind and go about my life. But instead he did the worst thing someone’s ever done to me.

He told me he had those same feelings. Then over the course of a month (this was March/April 2022, we stopped talking in May/June). He continued to send mixed signals which really confused me & caused me to stress tf out. We’d been talking for nearly a year when I got these feelings & bcus of the fact that I never been trough something like this I didn’t know what to do with myself. I was crushing on this pile of 💩 like a 15y/o to put things into perspective.

I also have a bad habit of overthinking & over - analyzing things that don’t add up. So if I wasn’t in my head about my feelings, I was thinking about the things he told me or what his day was like or whatever. Now do y’all know what happens when you think about someone TOO much?

YOUR ENERGIES GET TWISTED. Me being the sensitive girl I am, can literally feel what someone next to me is feeling. It helps me behave accordingly, I don’t even do it on purpose. Basically, bcus of the fact that I was in this guys energy field & he was in mine….I fell into his depression….sort of.

I just woke up one day feeling like absolute shit. It’s a good thing I’m on top of my feelings and I knew that if I gave in to what I was feeling I’d get a depression fr. So I woke up & did what I had to do everyday no matter how hard it was. My mom noticed I wasn’t doing so great so I told her everything. With her help & the help of her friend I got out of it, sending that shit straight back to him. After that (it’s now late April/May 2022), I got the answers I was looking for which made a lot of shit that happened make sense…

This 🤡 was still in a relationship with the baby mama he said he broke up with. Now if that wasn’t enough the 2 of them were living together. So this piece of 💩 was basically only talking to me bcus my clean energy attracted his miserable ass. He had to feel better about himself so used me, the girl full of life & ambitions ( that I’ll actually be able to achieve bcus I’m not a broke 22 y/o with a kid, student debt, living independently & who’s not in a miserable relationship that’s holding me back in life ).

They say you attract the energy you give out, but don’t get it twisted. Bcus when you’re doing good in life, you know the 😈 comes lurking & you gotta be on edge, careful not to let him in.

After finding out about this I confronted him & he didn’t even bother to apologise. Instead he blocked me….on instagram. But I still had his number so I texted him & he was acting real fucking bold so I made sure to block him first this time. So yeah I blocked his number & all of his other SM accounts….just to unblock them and send him back to that hellhole he came from bcus I don’t even want to hold on to him trough a blocked contacts list. The whole situation was just so traumatising and disrespectful to all parties involved. Like bruh…she gave birth to your daughter & you’re out here embarrassing that girl lying about her existence? Nah that’s just…I can’t-

So these past 2 years have put me trough a lot. I basically found myself back again. Turns out I’ve always been perfect so I’m currently back to the sensitive 6y/o girl with the rose colored glasses, positive energy & the rich fantasy I used to be. Just with a little bit more spice to it. I liked her better than that girl I created to protect me from drama as a 13y/o anyway. I’m glowing up, happier then I’ve been in years & finally exploring my feelings & trying new things instead of only allowing myself to experience these things trough a screen. So I guess this whole situation definitely had it’s reasons. I needed that reality check so yeah…

I’m thinking about making my comeback, but I switched to an iPhone last month. So we’ll see if I can find a good mod for this app bcus Lord knows I’m not playing this game without any diamonds. It takes out all the fun, I’ll pass.
