has anyone ever written an animorphs x the goonies crossover

#chattering #guess what movie i just watched for the hundredth time #but this time on the big screen #its actually pretty easy to slot a few of the characters into existing roles #mikey and brand as jake and tom seems like a no brainer and then marco as mouth bc theyre both annoying /j #and then stef is a solid personality match for rachel imo even though stef has the smallest role of the main cast. shes great tho i love her #anyway it doesnt even have to be a 1:1 i just think the plot and setting and overall vibe would be great to drop the animorphs into for #a fun relatively low stakes adventure

the thing that really touched me about conclave is that dean lawrence is told "the trick is not to offend anyone," and he cannot follow that advice and be a moral man. and he chooses honesty over inoffensiveness, which has become a dogwhistle for racists but is in this movie a genuine act of bravery with real consequences. the scene where tremblay says "i will pretend this conversation never happened" and lawrence explodes "but it DID happen" and tremblay doesn't acknowledge this, already walking away, but lawrence is right -- that got to me.

I had so much fun with his tattoos, if you couldn’t tell. After Fox’s depressing ones and Cody’s cute but simple one, I needed to go all out with Wolfy boy’s tat. Honestly, this man deserves a cool tattoo after having to deal with the torture of interacting with C-3PO. I could FEEL his annoyance through the screen (that sassy fucking eyeroll I swear you could feel it though his helmet)
