How to NOT be mistaken as a bot

1. Add a description to your blog

It can be anything, from what we can call you, your pronouns, what type of content etc (please still be safe, it is the internet after all). It doesn't have to be long but make sure it is distinct enough from bots

2. Change you pfp from the default (or even what some Tumblr peeps call the generic white girl selfie)

Most bots use these type of pfp and we all by now have started to have automatic response to block those pfp

3. Don't use generic usernames

Mostly the same as number 2. Bots usually use normal names plus numbers at the end (example regina381) and besides this is Tumblr. Most of us has unhinged URLs because, Tumblr

4. Post something on you blog

This show others that you are not bots and more inclined not to block you. You can post anything, from your interest to just a random word

5. Reblog other people post

Tumblr thrive in reblogging posts. Not only it shows that you are not a bot, it also share what you are interested in

But, what if Tarn and their little human get the news that they are expecting sparklings (I thought that having twins would be so much funny). Would the DJD take it good or they will all start panicing at the idea of two sparklings roaming around the Peaceful Tyrany.

And just for the giggles, I imagine the reveal something like this:

Nickel: well yep, there is no denial. There are two sparkling in development.

Tarn: But, but, how did this happened in the first place?

Human: well Tarn, we where both in your berth and...

Ohhhhh this is something I was excited to talk about since I have some stuff over the biology of humans and cybertronians. Such as how rare it is for bots to ever have twins due to the danger of carrying a sparkling, time it takes for one to develop. And I think it be amusing for them to witness how kinda carefree a human is hearing they are having twins.

Tarn is terrified when he gets the news, mind you Cybertronian and human biology is quite different and he's panicking over the fact this his human is not just carrying one spark which in itself is a very dangerous process for a Cybertronian but they are carrying two. So he's on the verge of a system meltdown.

Nickel looks over the scans as worry slowly takes hold on her face. " it looks like a split-spark sparkling." it makes Tarns field nearly cry out in agony. His little human was sparked with his bitlet, but it was a split spark. No one knows what to really do it's the first time they have really dealt with this situation.

The human just kind of sits there stunned for a moment. "I'm pregnant?" They ask in shock, wanting to see the images, "Please show me, " they ask while Trepan and Nickel both give weary glances to each other and then to Tarn. He gives them both a slow nod to let his little lover look at the scans.

Their eyes are so wide and bright as they look over the scans, fingers slowly tracing the outline as Nickel slowly explains what has happened. She's trying to be subtle about the face of the split spark situation. "If you look here, you can see the outline of the other," she says softly, and it makes Tarn take a deep vent as he watches his human excitedly trace the outline of both protoforms. "I have twins!, woah they are so small," they state in excitement. Turning to Tarn with the biggest smile he had ever seen on their lips.

"Nickel, how did this happen?" He asks rather grimly even as he watches them excitedly look at the scans. "In truth, I don't know, human DNA shouldn't be compatible with us, and how the split happened, it's mostly due to the different in species," she explains.

The rest of the DJD are walking on eggshells because of this. Nickel is doing everything she can to make sure that at least one of the sparks survives this process, Trepan is actually called into help, he maybe a mnemosurgeon just at this point Nickel and himself are the only ones with some sort of doctorate.

The Peaceful Tyranny is in absolute chaos, but no one is willing to say anything because if Tarn has a crash because of this, the whole ship and crew is in danger. And it gets even funny because the cybertronians are rushing around panicking, trying to figure something out, and the human is just sitting there like. "Woah, this is great, I haven't had morning sickness. Half the shit people told me I'd have hasn't happened" and non of the cybertronians can figure out why the human isn't panicking over the fact of have a split-spark sparklings.

And then, one day, Nickel is nearly barging in to get Tarn. "Sir, this is important. I need you in the medical lab now," and he reluctantly leaves his lover's side, who is still curled up in blankets on his berth.

Tarn follows Nickel to find out what's happened, worried it's news about the split and the need to terminate. Nickel pulls up new information with the fact of some rather recent human cybertronian relationships involving the human having a sparkling. "These records have only just been released, I was starting to think we weren't the only one in this situation and asked around, don't get mad but I got into contact with some others in the medical field, kept it very vague. But there have been a few human-cybertronian sparklings, " she states, and it makes Tarn go stiff in silence, not knowing whether to be angry and relieved.

"I've also done alot of research into human biology due to your situation, I believe the split spark is viable, there have been thousands of recorded cases of humans carry not only two but up to five young at once. It sounds strange but my recommendation is to go about it the same way you would if it was a single spark with a Cybertronian, they will need transfusions, surprisingly the human body temperature is the perfect temperature for sparkling" she explains while finally relaxing into a seat as Tarn just stares.

"There's records... how long is gestation?" He asked wearily. " less than 3 stellar cycles, that's over multiple different records I've found" it's news, news that Tarn wasn't expecting at all most cases of Cybertronians with sparklings the gestational time was a Vorn, but to be less that 3 stellar cycles sounds like it was a lie. he's been watching his lover waiting to see the signs of frame deterioration, but so far, he hadn't seen any. He lets out a low sound as if in thought.

"Are you positive?" He finally ask, despite wearing a mask, he was terrific underneath it, originally he wouldn't admit to being in love with his little human but everyone knew he was, he knew so too, and he was terrified of losing them. "Tarn, I can't say for sure, but their species seem the best suited for this. But if they don't get the fusions needed for growing sparks, it will be an issue, protoforms need fuel. And enough for your field to be able to know that you are their Sire. " Nickel finishes, it was a lot to take in, a lot to take on a whimp of information.

And that's how the next three humans years went, him very cautious, watching his lover making sure they had everything needed, it became the most inactive the DJD had been. He slowly watched the way his lover's stomach swelled, feeling the field of his sparklings calling out to him whenever he ventured too far from his human.

But the day they were born will stick with him forever, he thought his human was dying, listening to them cry out in pain, he had them at medical faster than anyone would expect for a Tank frame, he doesn't pace, he sits there watching the sweat bead down their forehead, it's only when Nickel hold out the two tiny Protoforms does he nearly crawl his way over to hold the two little forms. It's almost like instinct and he has them both settled in his sparkchamber wrapped around his spark.

And they he's checking his little lover tracing his digits across their face, trying to calm them and let them know they they did amazing, both their little sparks made it and had latched onto his spark.

The months after are true chaos, as the two sparklings develop more, they get more time away from Tarns Spark, and their frames begin to take form. He watches the way to curl around their carrier, chirp, and coo in delight. In truth, he never saw himself in this position being a sire to young sparks, yet watching the way these two little bitlets grow over time, he wants nothing more than to make sure they are safe he himself curls around his little family pulling his lover closer as the two sparklings scale his frame cooing in delight.

I keep being told to "adapt" to this new AI world.

Okay.

Well first of all, I've been training myself more and more how to spot fake images. I've been reading every article with a more critical eye to see if it's full of ChatGPT's nonsense. I've been ignoring half the comments on stuff just assuming it's now mostly bots trying to make people angry enough to comment.

When it comes to the news and social issues, I've started to focus on and look for specific journalists and essayists whose work I trust. I've been working on getting better at double-checking and verifying things.

I have been working on the biggest part, and this one is a hurdle: PEOPLE. People whose names and faces I actually know. TALKING to people. Being USED to talking to people. Actual conversations with give and take that a chat bot can't emulate even if their creators insist they can.

All of this combined is helping me survive an AI-poisoned internet, because here's what's been on my mind:

What if the internet was this poisoned in 2020?

Would we have protested after George Floyd?

A HUGE number of people followed updates about it via places like Twitter and Tiktok. Twitter is now a bot-hell filled with nazis and owned by a petulant anti-facts weirdo, and Tiktok is embracing AI so hard that it gave up music so that its users can create deepfakes of each other.

Would information have traveled as well as it did? Now?

The answer is no. Half the people would have called the video of Floyd's death a deepfake, AI versions of it would be everywhere to sew doubt about the original, bots would be pushing hard for people to do nothing about it, half the articles written about it would be useless ChatGPT garbage, and the protests themselves… might just NOT have happened. Or at least, they'd be smaller - AND more dangerous when it comes to showing your face in a photo or video - because NOW what can people DO with that photo and video? The things I mentioned earlier will help going forward. Discernment. Studying how the images look, how the fake audio sounds, how the articles often talk in circles and litter in contradictory misinformation. and PEOPLE.

PEOPLE is the biggest one here, because if another 2020-level event happens where we want to be protesting on the streets by the thousands, our ONLY recourse right now is to actually connect with people. Carefully of course, it's still a protest, don't use Discord or something, they'll turn your chats over to cops.

But what USED to theoretically be "simple" when it came to leftist organizing ("well my tweet about it went viral, I helped!") is just going to require more WORK now, and actual personal communication and connection and community. I know if you're reading this and you're American, you barely know what that feels like and I get it. We're deprived of it very much on purpose, but the internet is becoming more and more hostile to humanity itself. When it comes to connecting to other humans… we now have to REALLY connect to other humans

I'm sorry. This all sucks. But adapting usually does.

Imagine if one day humanity left the planet/system en masse for some reason, leaving their old creations behind without a second thought. Cybertron falls into civil wars and chaos for millenias until an (un?)intentional reunion with their creators.

Get it? Time work differently in the pocket universe? Ok, sorry that was cringe😔. But anyway-

Ohhhhh, i like that! Imagine going back to check on your creations just to see their planet is currently an absolute scraphole right now.

Humans and cybertronians can be very similar. In this AU, it would actually kinda make sense in a way. Like father like son/j humanity would probably see themself in their creations. Earth have a long list of war and conflict with eachother. Seeing history repeating itself on Cybertron, i like to think we would help or guide them (or at least try).

Now, i have some ideas for how the bots would react: under cut↓

One - humans are seen as myth on Cybertron (for example: the concept of some higher being created us- or aliens). Some would probably think we're not...real? they're baffled to meet their og creators (or Primus's creators) that they once thought were just myth. Oh, and SOME bots would fall into existential crisis (like Tyrest hehehehehe) since I remember there's the whole xenophoic or organic-phobic thing too.

Two - they have zero idea who we are, we're a complete new species to them. Didn't know they were created by us in the first place and would have a hard time believing so. Again with some of the xenophoics, this time in denial until we proved it and then they went into existential crisis again.

Three - this is mostly just to stroke my slight god complex, but heyyyyyy what if they looked up to us. Having created the cybertronians, i imagine it's possible they would recognize n heck even have relics or records. I think this would make a bit more sense if placed in TFA, maybe then it'd explain why there's ninjas robots. Possibly learn and took some inspirations from it. Also it would be kinda funny to see human slangs written in history datapads, 'ligma' and 'updog' being the cause of multiple arguments among the scientists- ok ok I'll stop now.

GANGLE

When will Gangle know happiness... 

KINGER

Kinger was adorable as always. I like how the others can rely on him when they're feeling emotionally vulnerable. That scene with Ragatha and her self-doubt, and how Kinger reassures her? I'm glad he has these moments of clarity. Old man even tries to help Pomni, even if he's bad at it. He's so well intentioned. <3

JAX

Jax is a terrible person. He was already very bad before, but somehow got worse. No care for his companions (Pomni and Gangle mostly), no care for the NPCs (he was very eager to see them die horribly). There's some indication Jax might have cared about Kaufmo, but overall, his attitude is so dissonant. It's hard to understand what's really going on inside his head.

RAGATHA

I like that Ragatha didn't hold any grudges over Pomni abandoning her in episode 1. Ragatha is just so sweet. Constantly worrying for Pomni's well being, being considerate enough to try to cheer up Jax of all people. She makes a huge difference in this group, like a glue that keeps everyone together.

GUMMIGOO

LOVED Gummigoo. Yeah I wasn't prepared for him. I didn't know what to expect of him (he looked like a serious bad guy type?), but what we got was so good. Loves his two gummy gator friends (wants to preserve their minds from the weight of self-awareness). His connection to Pomni, the way they could relate, it was all believable and palpable. Nice guy.

POMNI

Pomni herself was my favorite. Compassionate, empathetic, expressing her thoughts calmly and sincerely. Determined, inventive - trying to find ways to get herself and Gummigoo out of that place. 

I think the fact that she spent most of these two episodes physically separated from everyone else was no coincidence. Pomni was disconnected from them. The dream sequence at the beginning? A reflection of her own doubts and fears. That she's nothing, or that no one in the circus would care if she was gone. So she, either intentionally or by happenstance, distanced herself. 

I'm super happy that the episode ended on a hopeful note. Pomni found that her companions would care for her and remember her, and so it turned her views on her head. She's not alone. She has people that she can rely on.....

KAUFMO

(The Kaufmo funeral was very touching too, especially with Zooble organizing it. I've seen jokes that no one cared much that he died in episode 1, so seeing otherwise was pretty cool.)

FANDOM

I hold no ill will against Caine, and this is coming from someone who really really liked Gummygoo (literally screamed a big NOOO when he poofed). It's a little concerning how feral people are getting about Caine.

CAINE

Speaking of Caine, I need understanding between them, I need it SO bad. He keeps making these little decisions that impact the human characters. Especially Pomni. And he's not even aware of how much it hurts them, or that it's harmful at all!!

The way some of them are so dismissive (Zooble waiting for him to go away), annoyed, or only see Caine as a bot that fixes things when everything goes wrong... it makes me think they've tried to reason with him before, and it didn't work, so now they treat him like the machine he is to them.

As of now, Pomni understands him as much as everyone else does. She's frustrated, she's livid, and she has every reason to want to punch his teeth in. But after episode 2???? Considering how sympathetic Pomni was with Gummigoo, an NPC/AI himself???? I have a little hope that Pomni can actually get through to Caine in the future.

Hello Tumblr! This is me posting on why is Mikaela a better option of protagonist than Sam.

I know the reason why Sam is the way it is, it's because they wanted people to feel identified by a character that's an average and simple person, I guess that's an interesting idea, however, Sam wasn't a very good example of this, they want to show a guy who is nice and find himself being brave at some point. But when I see the movie, I just see a horny teenager who did what he did just because he was involved in it, and to impress a gal, cause there wasn't an option, you can put make up on it by adding those scenes of him saying badass stuff... But that's not enough for me, the character itself seems as a lazy example of what they wanted to show, there's no flavor in it.

And then they made Mikaela as his romantic interest and it's crazy how she's better constructed than he is.

Her past is very interesting, let's start with that. She was considered a criminal at some point, but she had her reason. Then all the school looked as her just as a "sexy and privileged girl who is the gf of the popular guy", they saw her just as their "hot classmate", and not by what she actually is, and this is probably because she didn't wanted them to know the truth, because it's dangerous for her future.

Now, they could've used this to make the kind of character that did something wrong, but then risks it all to save the world, find her place and gain the forgiveness from her crimes.

She is a mechanic, what made her really interesting as a TF human protagonist, similar as Charlie, this ability of her is very useful for her alien comrades.

She is also brave, mature, and responsible.

She had her doubts at the beginning when she first saw Bumblebee, Sam convinced her in that part, but as he did it so easily, I think, without Sam there, a little chat with Bee would've been enough to make her change her mind. Even after that, she didn't questioned to keep helping the Autobots every time she could during the movie, not because she just had to be there, but because she actually wanted to help, she saw Bumblebee more as an individual than as an object, feeling bad for him when he got hurt (Sam kept calling him "my car" as if he was some pet or something that he own, he kept this behavior the next movies)

The reason why we couldn't see more of her interacting with the bots is because she wasn't the protagonist, even in the next movie, her role was mostly secondary, and all her relevance there was to add some drama to the relationship... The rest is just Sam doing his stuff (zzzz) they just throw most of the character to the trash, her only purpose was to be the badie of the movie, what's a shame, since it could've been more interesting.

Her character in the first movie felt more real than her boyfriend, more organic, she had problems, she wasn't perfect, and she had more feelings than being horny and trying to make the other character fell in love with her.

She was witty when she had to take actions.

I mean, is sad how they just putted her in the hot girl place, while giving her an interesting personality and background, jut to throw that, because they were more interested in taking shoots of the actress being sexy, and all of what surrounds her is just the fetish of someone who wanted a "bad girl", that's also smart and brave to fell in love with him, it's unfair. Meanwhile they gave us sam who is less interesting and irritating... Like, do you have a brain that works? The movie is very interesting, I think, it could've worked better for me with a better human protagonist.

Hi! Could I please request comfort/fluff hcs for bots reacting to a gender neutral human accidentally calling them "dad"? For Megatron and Optimus! :D

A/N: I’ve actually done this before for Optimus, and a couple other bots, so I’m not gonna write that again, but you can find that post here. I did Megatron and decided to do Ratchet too this time around

~Ratchet~

•Ratchet honestly didn’t even notice it when you said it, he just answered your question and the “dad” part didn’t even register

•After a few minutes, when he’d gone back to his work, he just stopped for a second and asked, very loudly “did you just call me dad?!”

•Ratchet’s not angry or annoyed, he just has some issues with volume control

•He actually found it to be quite amusing and it warmed his spark to be called that

•You apologized and felt super embarrassed, because you took his very loud question to mean he was angry

•He noticed the upset look on your face, so he immediately went like “I’m not angry with you, I actually found it quite endearing”

•You didn’t want to tell him it was an accident, because he seemed to quite like it, and maybe it wasn’t totally an accident and you testing the waters subconsciously 

•You start calling him “dad” occasionally, but it’s still like half accidental sometimes

•Ratchet does find it really endearing and he does think it’s an honor to be called that, because that means you consider him family, or at least something close to that

~Megatron~

•Megatron and you were talking and you were supposed to leave the Nemesis to go get some snacks from the store

•You just waved at him and shouted “bye dad” as you hopped into Breakdown’s front seat and he sped through the ground bridge

•It took Megatron a while to react, because he was so shocked, but when he was about to answer, you had already gone

•You had actually just told Breakdown to go quickly, because you were embarrassed and didn’t want Megatron to make fun of you or complain about calling him “dad”

•So Megatron got some time to think about it, and so did you

•He doesn’t really get shocked very often, and he freezes like that even more rarely, so he didn’t really like that he reacted like that, which of course made him cranky

•But he did have to think about how he actually felt like about you calling him “dad”

•He was confused, because he thinks he’s like the least fatherly mech ever, and he didn’t get why you would ever think that

•You’d been thinking about it for a while before you slipped up and called Megatron “dad”, but you felt like he might not like it

•You feel like the decepticons are like family to you, mostly like older brothers or uncles or something like that, but you’d never told any of them, because you wanted to keep it to yourself

•So when you got back to the Nemesis, (after a couple of hours of putting it off) you decided to go looking for Megatron

•You didn’t even have to search, because he was already waiting for you when you came out of the groundbridge

•You started walking around the Nemesis and Megatron was wondering if he should just ask you about it

•Megatron just said “explain” and looked at you with a stern expression

•You thought something like “I knew it, he’s mad” but you didn’t really want to apologize, because those were your honest feelings

•So you told him that, and at first he didn’t really say anything

•But then he just said “I’m honored you would think of me as a father figure, I hope I can live up to your expectations”

•Now it was your turn to be shocked, but you just smiled at him and told him “we shall see” jokingly

The Trigger collab animation came out and it’s the best thing Transformers has done in the current decade.

Truly a love letter to Transformers from G1 to EarthSpark, it squeezes in everything it possibly can from most media. However the catch is that it’s only animated media and the live action movies, the comics (any assorted manga, Marvel, Dreamwave, IDW & Skybound) aren’t referenced, while some Japanese exclusive stuff gets a lil’ bit more attention (understandable since it’s, y’know, Japanese fans being nostalgic about the anime they grew up with).

Transformers Go, Q-Transformers, and the Beast Wars anime got particular attention.

This shot of Liger Megatron and Green Lion Lio Convoy is especially cool.

I think initially I was expecting a Trigger animated greatest hits from select moments from each show, and while they still technically do that in spots…

It’s mostly a mega crossover with different characters interacting otherwise.

And it’s all the better for it.

I mean where else are you gonna find TFA Optimus about to smash Masterforce Overlord’s face in?

There’s no real narrative, it’s just random cool shots though the closest thing to a framing device is the PV opening with Vector Prime looking down on Cybertron across all time lines.

Regarding EarthSpark’s contributions to the short, they’re minimal. The Terrans and Mandroid don’t appear at all, which is a little bizarre.

ES Megatron appears among the other Decepticon leaders instead of being with ES Optimus on the Autobot leader side.

You’d think Mandroid would be there next to BWII Galvatron instead, but I guess not. Sadly they omitted RiD15 Steeljaw too, instead using RiD15 Megatronus Prime’s floating head.

SatAM Robotnik voice: Ah well, life is not perfect.

The main ES rep are the Maltos.

This just reinforces ES needed to be 2D, because they actually look good. Roche’s style doesn’t work in 3D.

Anyway the human cast they chose for this final shot amuses me.

Love seeing my favorite Clays being included. The lack of RiD Steeljaw (G1 Steeljaw did appear with Lio Junior and RiD15 Aerobolt though) is forgiven.

Anyhow, the specific use of the Clays, the (S3) Witwickys, the Maltos and the Onishis (this is especially funny since Koji’s mom never met her universe’s Optimus) is somehow very random, but also kinda appropriate. Like I get Spike and Dot’s families, since it serves as bookends, but the Clays and Onishis still feel a bit random. Still, including both Robots in Disguise families is a nice touch in my book!

The short ends with a different bookend as mentioned.

What starts out as G1 Prime & Megs transitions to ES Prime & Megs shaking hands. The old with the current series. It works~! I admit I’m surprised they didn’t include TFONE somehow. I know it’s technically not out yet, but there’s enough material to have had Orion and D-16 have some kind of tussle. It would’ve been an interesting way to tie it into the above scene and this one:

When it comes to general rep, the stuff that gets the most focus is G1, Beast Wars, Animated, & Galaxy Force. Cyberverse doesn’t really get anything beyond the leader shot, but there is this awesome but very random shot of Croaton over looking Holi’s Rescue Patrol walking on a beach littered with the dead bodies of the generic Decepticons from “War Dawn”.

Sucks to be you guys.

It also occurs to me the Rescue Bots cartoons appear to be omitted along with BotBots, but that might partly be due to them not having Japanese releases? I’m not sure, but it’s funny how Q-Transformers is acknowledged of all things, but not Heatwave or Burgertron. Maaaaybe that’s for the best on the later…

Still the PV is a blast and is pry the most earnest passion project that GETS Transformers vs what we’ve been getting post Aligned cartoon wise.

I still hope this leads to a proper TF anime series made by Trigger, like what happened with Gridman. We need a return to good 2D animated TF shows and not more CGI slop like WFC or S2 ES. That Beast Wars and Machines are still superior despite being retro by today’s standards says something…

The catch however is the original video is region locked…

They don’t have names yet.

The two bots with the scary faces were specifically made for war, and now that it’s over, they still maintained their original ‘warface’ even though it has stigma associated to it. Many robots changed their faceplates post-war, as it made it easier to find jobs and not get into unnecessary conflict.

The sleeker looking guy used to be in their company, though he wasn’t made in the same factory as them; he isn’t their ’batch-mate’.

After the war he completely modified his frame, and now has an idol career. He desperately wats to erase his past, as people (and robots alike) will respond better to a ‘new’ and untainted idol.

The two warface bots are “brother and sister” and they do odd jobs here and there to make ends meet and to be able to afford things they want. Rich people hire them as bouncers a lot since they are a symbol of terrible times. Sometimes they earn 15k in one night for just one gig it’s crazy. They both really love clothes since it distances them from their body’s original purpose while simultaneously not erasing their past. Also they look cute and cool!

The idol bot once meets the warfaces by chance in the street and pretends he doesn’t know them AGAHAKALAK I think he’s insane… completely erasing your past and the person you were is psychopathic to me idk. Anyway

There arent a lot of warfaces going around anymore. since they either died during the war or changed their frames. Pre-war bots were re-fitted during the conflicts and just had to go back to their former unweaponized frames after it was all over so they’re fine.  All of these robots can download information and i want that type of learning to mostly disappear if its deleted, but if they learn things like we do or experience real events, those memories and skills can’t really truly be erased; if they do try erasing them, they will still remember them, just not with HD video clarity, which brings them immense suffering sometimes. “How to people live like this?!” Well buddy it sucks idk we all cope

Newly minted robots are wack because they don’t exactly have a ‘soul’ yet they just do things they’re supposed to do, but after some time, all of them actually develop real awareness and shit… my war bots had like a 78% chance of dying everyday when they were activated, but they survived and attained sentience at like one year post birth and they wised up rly fast after that. They remember their first year, but they describe it as a ‘weird haze’

These robots feel pain so they wont like dive into a hole or damage themselves too much. Self preservation means longer-lived machines which means less repair costs and less human lives on the line as well.. slay !!!

While the conflicts went on, most robots achieved sentience and decided to stop fighting so there was like a robots rights movement and eventually the war stopped altogether and now the robots have a salary and a normal life mostly. They arent organics, so they need other things. They are solar powered and need oil sometimes and also they need new nanomachines once in a while like we need vaccines. Get your boosters… its not just tetanus and coronavirus anymore now they gotta think about like..the trojan horse 9000

I want them to have this aversion to organic things dying bc they are universally gross. Like they dont like seeing living-machines die either but a rat being squished by a car is also gross!

There are probably some tensions between humans and robots but like i kinda get it bc i wouldnt mess with a guy who has like lead pipes for arms. also most robots ARE normal but some are insane idk 🙆‍♀️🤷‍♀️ just  like people are.

How would the tfa and elite guard and cons react to the sparkling beans who are tiny to be hold by human hands entirely

-On Cybertron, in autobot society, sparklings are kinda seen as something to be flaunted around. Small, defenseless and time consuming, having one is almost a status symbol, a show of how much free time and resources one has to be able to have a sparkling. Going on a walk with ones sparkling is more for ones own pride than anything.

-Meanwhile, in decepticon culture, it's kind of the opposite. Since sparklings are so frail, they are kept far away from others, not hidden but not seen by anyone other than the parents or really close and trusted friends.

-For these headcanons, the sparkling is not any of the bot's, it's just one they found.

The autobots:

-Optimus is incredibly awkward around sparklings since he's never really been around them before. At the same time he's hovering around them, having a hard time putting them down once he's holding them since he's so concerned about their safety. Every time a bird flies overhead he ends up shielding them because he worried the animal will mistake them for pray and make a dive for them.

-Now, Ratchet has some experience with sparklings, despite not being a pediatrician. As such he knows how to take care of them and he's very confident with how he handles them. Thinks it's ridiculous the way Cybertron flaunts around sparklings, they aren't decorations after all.

-Bumblebee sees the sparklings more like a novelty than actual living beings, mainly because of how they are treated and seen back on Cybertron. He tries to show off how good he is at taking care of them but quickly realizes how out of his depth he is when one starts crying. Ends up begging Ratchet for help. Tries juggling them once but got promptly reprimanded for it.

-Oh, poor Bulkhead, he is really stressed out. Those sparklings are so small and he's so very big and clumsy and he doesn't dare to get close to them out of fear that he will accidentally hurt them. Finds them absolutely adorable though and will coo at them from a distance.

-Tries to act cool and in the know but Prowl has no idea how to take care of these small things. Ends up resorting to things he's seen humans do with their young and this ends up working pretty well. Fake it till you make it and all that. But because he appears so well versed with taking care of sparklings, a lot of the baby sitting duties land on him. He feels completely at a loss at what to do.

-Ultra Magnus, while he's never had one of his own, has met many sparklings in his life, mostly the spoiled young of Cybertron's elite. That's why he doesn't really raise much of a fuss when he sees one. A good temporary caretaker though, always very careful and gentle with them.

-Yeah, Sentinel is totally out of his depth here. He acts like taking care of sparklings is super easy and that he can do it no problem but the moment the sparkling so much as whimpers he dumps it on somebody else. Will take all the credit for their care though.

-While he's seen some sparklings, actually being so close to one is a totally new experience for Jazz. He finds them super cute but is also kinda stressed out by how small they are. Very protective and will use his ninja skills to keep them out of harms way.

-Oh boy, Jetfire and Jetstorm won't stop poking and prodding at the poor thing. They've never been so close to a sparkling and they are so much smaller in real life! Kinda treats it like a pet before realizing that hey, that's an actual cybertronian, maybe we should treat it like one.

The decepticons:

-Megatron doesn't dislike sparklings but he feels no particular attachment to them either. That being said, he feels the need to place them somewhere safe, somewhere secluded. It will take a while for them to grow up but he trusts that one day they will become a fine decepticon.

-Immediately, Starscream snatches them up and puts them in his cockpit. The sparkling is vulnerable out here in the open after all. Don't want to take care of them but doesn't trust anyone else to do it right so he ends up doing it.

-Depending on the personality, Blitzwing may or may not be allowed near the sparkling. Icy is given a go since he is careful enough to properly care for something so small. Hothead is allowed to watch other the sparkling but not hold them since he's too, well, hotheaded and might do something without thinking. Random is banned from even being in the same room as the little one ever since he 'joked' about them being so cute he could just gobble them up.

-Lugnut is not allowed to hold the sparkling, no matter how longingly he looks at it. He's dreamt of having a sparkling together with Strika for a long time now and he sees this as a perfect opportunity to adopt. Please, he'll be careful, let him hold it!

-As he's worked undercover on Cybertron for some time now, Shockwave knows about the autobot customs regarding sparklings and is repulsed by it. He instinctively wants to tuck it away, put it somewhere safe and locked up but knows that he can't because he needs to keep up appearances. At least his ability to shapeshift into his smaller Longarm form is good for handling small sparklings.

-As much as she tries to pretend otherwise, Blackarachnia is completely enamored with the little one. When no one is looking, she coos at is, wiggling her fingers at it. Makes a baby sling out of web and carries them around, showing them off.

Hello again! I was wondering if I could two requests? Both involved batmobile buddy again.

So with the first request: Buddy has been on earth with team for a few weeks following her reuniting with Ratchet, Sari and Bumblebee notice that Buddy and Ratchet might actually like each other more than just friends. So they become Ratchet's unofficial wingmen but they are really bad at it.

And the second request is that Decepticons mostly Megatron find out Buddy is also still alive. And he is really angry because like 'I thought got rid of her permanently during the war!?' Context: The decepticons are the Buddy when missing. They blow up her ship but the stasis pod was still intact where it crash landed on earth. And Buddy's things for communication where also destroyed.

“…I am going to stay with Team Prime if that’s all right sir. There is more work to be done here.”--Buddy

Magnus nods.

“Very well. But do remember you will always have a place here on Cybertron.”--Magnus

Ratchet insisted on Buddy staying in the Plant for the first few days to adjust to everything.

To the humans and to their new alt mode.

Sari and Bumblebee did a little digging on Buddy and Ratchet one day while they were on the Elite Guard’s ship.

The Jettwins help them snoop around for anything on the database.

The four of them eventually stumbled upon a video that had Ratchet and Buddy in the background.

Bee and Sari now have a new ship.

And they are determined to get it to sail.

The duo decides to get some information on Buddy.

They try and set up a candle ‘dinner’ for the pair.

Wheeljack is naturally the first one, since Smokescreen ends up helping break him out. It was his first time actually showing himself to anybody, so he ended up leaning REALLY hard into the persona he'd been crafting. Before that it was mostly stealing things, messing with lights, leaving torn up bloody Vehicon parts in places, etc etc (with the vehicon parts thing, he never actually killed anyone. He found a couple rooms full of spare parts, brutalized them a bit, dipped them in energon, then started leaving them in places he knew they would be found)

as such........ he accidentally leans into it a bit too hard and manages to convince Wheeljack about the whole thing. Now, Jackie is far from supersticious, but...... well, he's not an idiot either and it's very obvious that SOMETHING is going on here and it really, really hates the Cons but for some reason is willing to help him get out

and when he learns about Team Prime's dead rookie...... well, it isn't that much of a stretch. Not compared to what he saw, not compared to how terrified the Cons were

Bumblebee and Arcee are the ones who "meet" him next during the attack on Darkmount. Smokescreen was of course alerted to the attack, and at first he was even going to reveal himself. After all, the Autobots are here, they're okay, I can go home-

he helps them from the shadows of course. He rationalizes it to himself that keeping secret will be more useful, that this way the Cons won't know what hit them........ but the battle is still hard. They almost lose. Hell, they would've lost were it not for Smokescreen overloading some of the important systems

and that's when he realizes...... he's helpful here. In this one battle undercover, he's made more a difference than he ever did before. He was useful, and he wasn't making anyone annoyed or losing relics by getting blindside or putting the humans in danger

Just for a little longer, he promises himself as he sneaks onto the Nemsis. Just until we win

Bumblebee and Arcee of course weren't oblivious to his help. They noticed the way the doors didn't seem to have any locks or how some of their enemies would fall for no reason or how some would let out fearful cries of "THE GHOST!" "IT'S HERE!"

they can't help but think back to what Wheeljack told them, if only for a second

(and if the two of them whispered a thank you and an I'm sorry to the air, well that's nobody's business but their own)

Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus end up encountering the ghost for the third time, however it's very brief. It's right after the pair had "killed" the remaining Predacons (ofc being unaware of the fact that they'd all been moved) and were fighting Predaking. Luckily the fight is much less dangerous than the first time and UM doesn't lose his hand, but Predaking still has to act like he's vengefully angry

however, this time to give the pair a chance to escape, they end up having Smokescreem "distract" Predaking, aka he appears and disappears around the cave and "baits" him away so the other two can escape

then the fourth time. The fourth and final time.

Ratchet when he gets captured.

Now, Smokescreen wrecks absolute HAVOC on the Decepticons because....... well, he thinks they're dead. He thinks that Megatron bombed the base and killed everyone and Ratchet's the only one left

the result? His destructive tendencies skyrocket. He's actively setting fires and explosions, scaring everyone he can, destroying equipment, dragging people into walls, anything he can

and of course, Ratchet is completely spared from this chaos...... but oddly enough so is all the cybermatter experiments. Smokescreen isn't stupid after all, and if the Decepticons could manage to crack the formula? That would quite literally save the planet

of course, he's not planning on letting them go through with it, he's actively sabatoging the Omega Lock construction every way he can. But Ratchet, Shockwave and Knockout are all excluded from the chaos

when Megatron gives Ratchet to Predaking is when things begin to shift

see, Predaking and Smokescreen haven't been sitting on their asses waiting for the Autobots to eventually win, especially not after the Decepticons tried to kill the Predacons. They've been planning

and now that the formula's been finished? They have everything they want from the Decepticons and are ready to burn this place to the ground

and well....... if they're planning to do that, there's no real reason to stay hidden, is there?

and Ratchet.......... well, he was expecting several things when he landed at the feet of the predacon

Rage. Pain. Grief. Maybe even his own death

Is there anything you wished the Show Ok. Ko Lets Be Heroes focused more on? Whether it be a character, relationship, arc, villain ect?

OH BOY THERE'S SO MUCH I WANTED TO SEE

1. FIRST OF ALL I REALLY wish they had more time to focus on the big reveal because I waited since season for them to talk about the whole POINT situation and when they finally DO reveal laserblast's identity it's completely rushed. This is such an emotional plot line for MULTIPLE characters yet we only see a fraction of it! LIKE PLEEAAAAASE I WANT TO SEE MORE OF HOW THIS AFFECTED CAROL!!! What she went through is so tragic, she lost her love, her dream, her friends, AND she had to raise the child of her dead lover alone. And yet she stayed strong through all of it and became the best mom ever. (Carol I love you plz marry me)

ALSO I WILL NEVER GET OVER THE FACT THAT WE DON'T SEE GAR'S REACTION TO THE REVEAL!! He literally blamed himself for laserblast's death, who was his teammate, his best friend's lover AND K.O's father. Just imagine how he felt like knowing K.O looked up to him as a father figure while thinking it's his fault K.O doesn't have a dad???

And also every other POINT member's lives were immensly affected by laserblast's death, like Rippy roo who dedicated years of her life trying to find a way to bring him back or Greyman trying to make a hero people could look up to or Foxtail still holding a grudge against Gar for what happened. I reaaally wanna know how they would react to knowing not only their friend is alive but he is also a successful villain.

2. Another thing I REALLY wanted to see was Rad and Dendy's relationship actually being explored! I used to think her "obsession" with Rad was nothing more than a gag but I saw that there was supposed to be an episode explaining that "she looked up to Rad because he's unashamed of who he is even though he comes from he considered as unusual family background." AND IT JUST MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!!!! I think that would've been an amazing way to explore both of their characters.

Also it's pretty ironic because Rad IS ashamed of who he is! Since day one he's been hiding things he loves and acting like a jerk to cover up his insecurities. I think Dendy telling him she looks up to him would've encouraged him to change the way he acts just like in the "Radical rescue" episode, when he tells K.O he doesn't want him to imitate his bad behavior.

3. Now we're getting to the REAL interesting part. BOXBOTS!!!! LISTEN I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY ABOUT THEM BUT I'M GONNA TRY TO MAKE IT SHORT AND UNDERSTABLE.

I REALLYYY wish we had more moments of vulnerabilty with them. Pretty much every single one of their scene is comedic and, while I do ADORE the comedy, I still wish they were taken more seriously. Like their whole situation is really tragic in many ways yet it's completely ignored. I know it's a mostly light hearted show but the boxbots are never given a genuine moment that felt like their feelings were taken seriously. It's probably just me who's wayyyy too attached to them but my favorite moments are when we get to see the more "human" side of them. Like when they act like an actual family, playing board games, having dinner together, hanging out, or bickering like siblings

I wish they explored how being robots affects them and the way everyone treats them. It's like robots are not considered like "real people" to some degree. We already know that in the okko universe being a certain species will change the way people perceive you and treat you (ie aliens and kappas) and it's shown to be a bad thing when it happens to Rad and Dendy, but when the bots are treated badly it's always seen as a joke and brushed bc you know , they're robots so who cares. There's like an implication that all robots are inherently bad because they're robots, K.O even said Mr.logic was "one of the good ones" implying he's just an exception (also it's crazy that he actually said that sentence and no one batted an eye)

And finally the ONE thing I really REEAALLYYY wanted to see more of is *drum rolls* LORD COWBOY DARRELL (who could've seen that coming)

LISTEN THERE WAS SOOOOOOOOO MUCH POTENTIAL THERE IT ACTUALLY MAKES ME CRAZY JUST THINKING ABOUT IT I WISH I WAS EXAGGERATING!!! Like for the first time we actually see boxman suffer the consequences of his actions, his kids FINALLY stand up to him after being treated like crap 24/7 and then he's forgiven in episode two??? And we don't even see how this affects the other bots!! Like Raymond and Shannon also loved boxman but they seemingly didn't hesitate to side with Darrell over him. I wish they explored how they chose their brother over their father who they were absolutely devoted to since birth.

I was actually disappointed to see Darrell forgive him SO easily and all the character development he could've had was thrown out the window in two seconds!!!! We actually get a glimpse of Darrell's potential but it's all forgotten as soon as Boxman becomes the boss again

I loved seeing Darrell actually fight back for once because he is one of the characters who gets mistreated the MOST by the whole cast. Half of his scenes are just him getting beat up and insulted, he's always treated like an idiot or a joke character so it was incredibly satisfying to see him actually stand up for himself and take charge. Like yeah he is goofy as hell and very immature and I love that about him! But when he became Lord Cowboy Darrell we actually got to see a whole new side of him. He was cunning and smart and resourceful and it KILLS me that we never got see that side of him again. I wish people aknowledged how competent and mature he can be instead of treating him like an actual child. I actually hate how infantilized he is sometimes

Anyway I could go on and on and on forever about the boxbots but that's just a few things i wish the show focused more on, there's probably more but I can't remember them rn

I heard the rumors of Transformers Earthspark maybe on the list of being cancelled for a new Transformers show and honestly, I'm quite neutral on it. It's not bad but Earthspark definitely didn't leave any impression on me, and I go into a series usually with a fresh mind. I don't like to compare off the bat. I will always give things a chance. Earthspark was one of those Transformers series that just never stuck to me no matter what I tried.

They say the cancellation may have to do with toy sales and bad reviews but the thing about the bad reviews is that they are mostly bad because of bias factors. That's in no way fair on how you are supposed to judge a series. Absolutely not. It should only come down to plot and characters interacting with the plot. It doesn't matter what their ethnicity or gender is, it's what they bring to make the show work.

Earthspark fell flat for me because of the introduction of the Terrans and the overall plot did not match what they were bringing to the table. The show would have done honestly better without them. I understand it's a kids show but you know Rescue Bots was for toddlers and they handled their plot really well for something that was made without a single Decepticon because they knew how to make their characters work in their setting. If I can't find that key element, no show works. I was fine the humans this time around which is often a problem element in Transformers. They weren't bad honestly. It's the Terrans I hated; they somehow took the qualities of human flaws and made them into a weird, worse mix.

One of the reasons I do see why it failed to appeal to children compared to the TF fans is because children are in no means more or less important than us in their opinions, but they prioritize what they need compared to what they want to keep themselves entertained. As soon as we had representation, new content, and other returning characters not used in forever in a Transformers show, it appeased what we wanted all along, but the catch is was it what the show needed against it's already experimental Terrans adding to boiling pot that is already overcooking. Children don't have the tendency to care as much as we do about connecting with their characters in this particular instance of a show with fighting robots. They like action, they like the awesome plots of the heavier shows and movies that make them pop with excitement over who wins and why. Autobots or Decepticons.

In fact, a good example of need versus want is what I said once in a post about I think the They/Them controversy with Nightshade that telling the audience directly they went by those pronouns subtracted from the character because good writing involves being able to present the fact they go by those pronouns without having to waste a minute explaining it in words. A child watching isn't going to give a shit they go by They/Them. They are going to like Nightshade by what they do and kids will memorize pronouns naturally by the effort the character makes to be involved in the plot that drives what they need out of the series to make it interesting to them. You don't have to graze a minute of this weird interjection that makes no sense explaining pronouns and as a writer, that scene kind of threw me because that was the worst way you could introduce a non-binary character...and children can tell stuff like that being off in how it is presented. if it doesn't add to the plot, throw it away and figure out another way to introduce those characteristics into your character.

So, back to the main point, you end up having all these characters that present nothing to enhance themselves other than being mostly nuisances to the main characters the kids actually wanted to see like Megatron and Optimus, so why would the general audience be interesting in buying their toys if they are forgettable? That explains your toy sales without explicitly blaming it on ethnicity or gender. As for the bad reviews, I assume the bias ones were filtered out because I have seen ones that aren't too far from my type of judgement who bring valid points as to why the show isn't the best at what it does. It had potential after that first season half, but it never seemed to really grow into something I and apparently others cared enough about. And children aren't stupid; they can kind of go by that judgement too.

Now, this is a rumor that it will be cancelled, no solid proof yet. But if it is, it's going to be less surprising than it is if it continues to Season 3. The only reason so far Season 2 exists is because it was greenlit during the first half of Season 1 which wasn't terrible per say but it had the excitement it was going to grow on you in the second half. The second part of Season 1 was...eh.

But that does raise the next question as to what this new Transformers series is and what it's going to put up against Earthspark? Is it influenced by a specific show, is it its own new thing like Earthspark's route? Will it feature humans at all? Will it be even on Earth and take Cyberverse's route in abandoning the typical Earth setting which is a route we really should start venturing into for a while in my personal opinion to kind of explore more about the world of Transformers themselves. If this new show has the better elements of what Earthspark failed to appease to its grand audience (kids, sorry TF fans), it's going to be better off. If it starts off good but falls into the same category, maybe their will be a finalized central element that can be confirmed as to what is really driving the general audiences away.

If the rumor is proven false and there is a Season 3, I will try my hardest to watch it at least once, see if it gets better than what we have currently. I said before I was going to stop watching Earthspark quite early because nothing was going for it for me but I came back to see the second half of Season 1 when it came out. I will see Season 2...but man, this is a tough show to watch.
