I had a date with Farkas~♡

He refused to take off the divine crusader set, so I had to confiscate it from him so he'd wear the carved Nordic armor set I gave him (pictured here). I wore the golden saints armor since it's the most gorgeous set in the game >w<

We left solitude and continued to walk up the mountain together, fighting any enemies we encountered. I stumbled upon what I *thought* was a cute little house, but was instead the freaking THALMOR EMBASSY. The Thalmor attacked us, so I picked the lock to the embassy and we slayed all the thalmor we could find. The rest were in an inaccessible part of the embassy, so we left to explore around the area.

I found an absolute gorgeous cave named Shadowgreen Cavern that even Farkas was amazed at.

We defeated a few will-o-wisps (mod), spriggans, bears and wolves, but it was all part of the fun! When we made it to the very top, there was a gorgeous area with sprites (mod, pictured) fluttering around (it was my first time seeing them!). (Click for full images)

We had a lovely time in shadowgreen cavern, then we found some guy's secret crossbow stash and had a little moment in there.

Finally, we left to Breezehome to end the day. (Our house is in Solitude, but our bed has pillars so I couldn't get in it, lol)

Photo Mode wasn't working with Ace Romance Animations, so I had to take some awkward distance shots, but I still love how they turned out, hehe.

i know we never got to see it for either angela or nyla when they had their babies, but i've always had this headcanon that whenever someone at mid-wilshire welcomes a new member into their family grey starts roll call with a picture of their little one, along with the standard criteria next to it, ya know, height/weight/length/etc. and then everyone does a drumroll at their tables as he does a dramatic name reveal, and i just hope that one day in the future we'll actually get to see him do so for tim and lucy. it would be so cute. 🥹🫶

dare I say this patch is better than the entire penacony arc, for me at least. idk, it feels less dialogue-heavy than penacony. the characters are still using more words than they need to, but not to the point where i question if their throat is getting dry. except aglaea, I think 😭 but i think that part was intentional lmao. all in all, definitely left an impression, but a foreboding one.
