Luigi would immediately rush to Sarasaland the moment he heard about Daisy having period cramps. He'd make sure to bring her favorite sweets, tons of water and a hot pad for her belly, and he'd unhesitatingly invade her kitchen and prepare some hot tea that then he'd bring to her bed so that it could comfort her and keep her warm inside.

And then he'd stay with her for the rest of the day, just quietly reading while she sleeps or binge watching her favorite shows with her for the millionth time. And he'd laugh with her as if it were the first time watching it, only because he loves to see her happy and slowly recovering and feeling better.

imagine consuming a piece of media like iwtv and boiling it down to "the abuse show" and telling people they should kill themselves for caring about the romance of it (which is a fundamental part alongside the grieving and healing from the unavoidable loss of your child). i honestly do not know how someone could watch two entire seasons (assuming the books weren't read because there's no way you'd say something like that otherwise) and come away with that specific opinion. watching a fucked up show about fucked up people and an exploration of said fucked up-ness with this exhausting mindset of 'ethical correctness' only hurts you in the long run. and beyond that? media literacy needs to be a mandated class in grade school.

bf!mingyu drabble

after scrolling through your entire fyp page that was filled with pastries, cakes and everything sweet, it was natural you were craving cake it something sweet. and it didn't help that you were on your period and your cravings were x10 intensified. you'd seen a bunch of videos on souffle pancakes and you remember telling mingyu as you were snuggled in his arms that you wanted to try souffle pancakes once.

when you stir awake and find yourself alone in bed, you frown because you'd surely fallen asleep next to mingyu, in his arms, warm and comfortable. so when you woke up alone, without mingyu's touch and warmth, a pout instantly formed on your lips.

too tired to call out to him, you call him on the phone and hear his phone ring outside before throwing your phone to the side and turning over burying your face in the pillow, the dull back in your lower back still there.

"love? are you awake?"  he asks, his voice filling the room and you feel the bed sink as he placed his hand on your lower back, rubbing soft circles to help ease the pain.

"hmm you weren't here when i got up", you reply turning around slowly so you were facing mingyu.

"are you feeling better?", he asks, looking at you.

"a bit", you mumble, reaching out for his hand.

mingyu gets up and protests leave your lips asking him to sit back down. you wanted nothing more than to cuddle in his arms again. he smiles and chuckles at your cuteness before saying he'll be right back.

when mingyu comes back, he's holding a plate of something and when places it in front of you is when you realised what it is - souffle pancakes. mingyu had made you souffle pancakes.

"gyuuu", you let out looking up at him with. "you did not make me souffle pancakes" you tell still in denial.

"i sure did my love, anything for you", he says with a grin before sitting in front of you. you take a bite and cover your mouth dramatically at how good it is. you could cry right now (blame the hormones)

"mingyu. baby. babe. gyu", you tell and he chuckles watching at all the names you call him. "this is so good", you tell lifting your fork to feed him a bite", he eats and nods his head in agreement.

"i might have outdone myself with this one", he says.

"you did, you outdo yourself everytime you make me something", you tell smiling as you take another bite of the soft and fluffy pancake.

after you've polished the place, mingyu puts it on the side table and just as he's sitting back down on the bed you pounce in his arms, hugging him. you hear his chuckles as his hands wrap around you, holding you close.

"i miss you", you tell, resting your chin on his shoulder.

"im right here though", he tells, confusion in his voice.

"still you were gone when i woke up and i just miss you okay", you add.

"can't have you missing me now can we", he says as you lift your head up and finally look at him. you nod your head in agreement.

"you look tired", he says observing your face.

you did look tired and drained and he wished he could do more to make you feel okay.

"that's because i'm dying gyu", you tell dramatically. "you didn't give me any kisses gyu, where are my recharge kisses",  you tease looking at him.

he grins his pretty smile as he looks at you with pure fondness.

"one serve of recharges kisses coming right up", he says leans, kissing you.
