sucks that saw 3d's weird 2010 misogyny makes some people interpret hoffman as a misogynist when 1. it goes against everything we know about him up until that point / the whole premise of rigg's game and 2. it's SO much funnier to imagine him as one of those annoying but well meaning soapbox meatheads who seems to be beefing with the very concept of periods
