i already posted about bookworm gale's various attempts to apply (or sometimes sneak into) the various libraries across faerun, but i also like the adventures a romanced gale and the protag can have:

the convo always starts out the same:

Gale: I confess, when I left Waterdeep there was a part of me afraid that I might regret my decision. But I never have. devnote: reflective Gale: I'm delighted to be here amongst friends again, but part of me is reluctant to step away from our new life - even for such a gathering as this. Player: You don't have to be here if you don't want to, Gale... Gale: Oh, ignore me - I'm perfectly content. Besides, the chance to step out for a night on your arm is hardly one I'm going to pass up. Tara the Tressym: I'm just glad I'm not the only one encouraging you to leave the library once in a while. It does one good to feel the grass beneath one's paws from time to time. Gale: I don't know where to begin in telling people what we've been up to. I suspect they won't believe me...

and then there are different options for the adventures they might have had, depending on the player's choices & origin states:

Player: You hunted a Nightwalker through the depths of the Underdark and have the scars to prove it. They'll believe you.

Player: You hunted a scaly devil through the flames of Avernus and got the scars to prove it. They'll believe you.

Player: You took down a battalion of Vlaakith's tl'a'ikith and have the scars to prove it. They'll believe you.

Player: You saved a village from a rabid dire troll and have the scars to prove it. They'll believe you

Gale: I think that particular feat was your doing, but having a wizard with an aptitude for excellently timed counterspells beside you no doubt helped. devnote: deflecting the praise, but allowing himself to feel a little pleased

but i also love this dialogue path because it once again highlights gale's growth as a person, as well as the difference between gale dekarios & gale of waterdeep:

Player: Who cares if they believe you? Gale: Not me, of course. Gale of Waterdeep might have craved such attention, but Gale Dekarios does a heroic deed purely for its own quiet satisfaction. And the occasional hearty 'thank you.'

I hear a lot of talk about how Hollywood isn't comfortable with showing romantic relationships, interracial or otherwise, without a white person involved. But I'm not sure that fans are actually comfortable with that either? And I don't think they're comfortable without a significant white (white male specifically) presence in their favorite genre shows.

loverboy!armin who loves kissing you. kissing your everywhere, kissing everything he can. he loves kissing your ears, your neck, your cheeks. literally your whole face gets daily kisses from him.

loverboy!armin who loves taking your makeup off your face from said kisses, loves watching you get mad about how now he has brown makeup on his face for everyone to see

loverboy!armin who just smiles while you wipe the makeup off his face while you scowl him telling him that people are gonna notice that he's been kissing you nonstop, but he can't help himself and goes right back to kissing underneath your jaw line

"armin back up your messing up my makeup, everyday we do this" you pout but can't help but giggle and push him back because it feels so ticklish when he starts doing this

"well you won't let me kiss you with your lipliner on, and i can't resist myself when you look so good" he pouts pulling you closer to his chest crushing you against him

he's starts sucking on your neck, right in his favorite spot, he always goes to this spot on your neck when you won't let him kiss you

you spent so much time on your makeup and he knows that so when you say no kisses on the lips he respects you but that won't stop him from kissing everywhere else

you move your chin up higher so he can have more surface area. he starts murmuring "i love yous" in between each kiss to your jaw and cheek.

"i love you" kissing your cheek

"iiii love you" kissing the middle of your neck

"i love you so much" kissing close to your ear

with his last kiss to your cheek and "i love you" he sucks on your cheek suctioning his lips kissing hard

he finally pulls away and just looks at you with his adorable look with a new layer of fresh makeup on his face.

you try and look mad but really you loved when he gets like this, gets so needy for you and your lips and right now you want a kiss him too you miss his lips on yours.

putting your hands on each on of his cheeks you kiss each side of his face

"ok, you can have one peck" you hold up your pointer finger

"just one" you look at him with a stern look

before you can even process the words leaving your mouth hes already kissing you

using his tongue to lick at your bottom lip with his lips still on yours, movin his head to the side moving his tongue with yours in your mouth

with you pressed against him keeping you close using all his might with each hard peck, because he knows once he stops your gonna fuss at him

"stick you tongue out pretty please" he mutters against your lips

you listen to him as he licks at your tongue thats hanging out your mouth. using that saliva to make the next kiss to your lips so sloppy.

suctioning on your top lip has become his new favorite way to kiss you, still toying with your tongue in your mouth

he slows himself down now making the kiss extra slow and the sounds of spit is now not as constant as it was before

moving slow allows him to search all over the inside of your mouth and really feel the sensation of your amazing lips

with his final kisses he makes them puckered kisses to your mouth, he presses his lips into to yours not leaving when he's done and just smiling against your lips with strings of salvia keeping you still attached to each other

you push him back "armin, really ?!?!" you grab his face attempting to wipe your ruined lip liner off his swollen lips

"sorry, i just love you too much baby i can't help it"

ngl sometimes i think the inverse to the fanon inability to meaningfully interact with a character flaw that's not "my friends and family would say that my main problem is that i care too much" is the canon hyper critical you can only like a character because of all their flaws and you should never say anything nice about what you think their good points are without a million astericks about how much they really do suck, actually

So I play Dislyte pretty regularly and the design for the Poseidon character is just so... IHAD to do it!

The Hades one had to go through a more extreme makeover to make it feel more Nico-esque though (it has a couple subtle design nods to Velinxi's Young Gods AU too!)

This was supposed to be a take on @percico-nicercy-events 's fest btw, Day 5: Undersea Prince Percy and Underworld Prince Nico but yeah, I'm way behind;;

i had a realllllllly bad panic attack yesterday and thought i was gonna die so i called my mom who got super worried and she ended up calling my advisor since i'm living here by myself but my advisor is currently in another country so she sent a message to some students who ended up posting on the programs gc that a fellow student needed help and i got a bunch of calls and messages from worried students i never talked to before D: it was a bit embarrassing but in a nice way.. they were all v kind, many sent me voice messages being so calming and nice.. i knew one of them bc we had a couple classes together and she picked me up at my apartment and spent the entire morning with me at the doctors.. ;__; i feel much calmer now and all and im glad im not ashamed of all of this ^ lol im glad people were so kind to me..
