Also, by request a couple weeks ago: Psychonauts AU Dr Reyes! I feel like her plot would be that she’s very recently discovered a latent telekinetic ability during time spent on archaeological digs; she found deposits of Psitanium and started manifesting a bright orange telekinetic hand! She’s not a Psychic Agent of any sort, but maybe gets called on sometimes to aid the Psychonauts with archaeological expertise with regards to ancient psychic artefacts and finds.

I think she’d have a fucking fun time tbh.

#i’ve been thinking abt that cringe post #i think the latent feelings behind ‘cringe’ are shame and sometimes envy/bitterness #same vibes as when six year olds say ‘those toys are for babies�� if they’ve been shamed for their age by older kids #anyway. i think part of the healing process is realizing that shame puts you at war with yourself bc part of yourself is a social being!#and that part of you wants community and acceptance (maybe love). shame is the absence of acceptance #unlearning shame means learning self-love and gaining the confidence to find your people #jerma #cw jerma #(someone asked me to tag lol)

drawings from paleo expedition to dagestan, done right on the trip. sometimes messy when it was cold and rainy, but i won't correct it. i think it's cool to leave it just the way it was done, and not retouch it after. there will be more drawings later, but those will be done from home

both their designs are purposefully cluttered mainly because i think both of them have bases that are really busy in different ways (joel definitely more so than etho, but also cause etho's been focusing on frogger hence the frog bits and music discs/pages) but also because i love designing very Full outfits

i wanted to carry that busyness into their designs, ex. joel's many many colours, banner accessories and layers vs etho having a lot of trinkets and things on his person (you can't convince me he doesnt hoard at least a little . he has a shulker sorting system for every block in the game and i love that for him)

there were definitely more thoughts in my head as i was drawing but they've all escaped me so ,, maybe someday i'll remember
