puppyboy!caleb who just wants to fuck a litter into u :((
cw — breeding (dadoy), use of gege, typical caleb activities except hes a germand shepard, pet names (baby, honey, wife but theyre not married). fluffy prequel here.
he thinks you should have known. all the signs were right there, practically jingling in your face.
“did you— mm . . really think i’d invite you over for somethin’ as harmless as a common cold?”
he knows you won’t respond verbally. can’t respond, he thinks, not when his hips are slamming against your juicy ass, cock filling you up to the brim after his fingers and mouth worked so hard to stretch you out.
and even that hadn’t been enough. he still had to go reaaaal slow, ease it into that filthy, drooling hole, and by then he was just so impatient that he couldn’t wait any longer! :p
caleb will be gentle next time, he promises.
saliva and tears dribble down your chin, rolling down your chest and onto his sheets, and he wishes he could lean forward to lap it all up with his tongue. instead, he nuzzles into the side of your tainted neck, pressing little loving pecks against reddened skin as if to make up for the brutal way he’s splitting you open.
“y-yer just so gullible, baby. always takin’ your gege’s word for fact.”
you attempt to shake your head, a few, rare pieces of coherent thought stringing together enough to actually speak. “ungh, ngh! n-no, ‘m not . . not dumb.”
look at you. stubborn as always, ready to defend yourself and your beliefs at a moment’s notice. it’s cute.
“of course you aren’t,” caleb coos with a breathy chuckle, and he takes your soft, warm skin into his mouth, sucking another bruise to join the others. “never said you were. you’re a smart girl. my smart girl, and that’s exactly why i have to breed you.”
he feels the way your velvety walls clamp down on his aching cock at his words, and he grins. he knows all of your little weak protests earlier were fake.
all those “but, caleb, i don’t think it’s a good idea, we’re not even married” and “i’m just not ready yet” and “we’re both so busy, how will we have time for the baby?”
that was all bullshit.
you want this. you know you do, and caleb definitely knows you do.
you’re just in denial. but don’t worry — he’ll fuck that out of you.
“it’s o-only right to— shit–” plap “spread my wife’s beauty and smarts–” plap “to the rest of the world, right?”
caleb slams forward, hips stilling for a moment as he whimpers against your bitten-up neck, and a desperate mewl leaves your own lips as the impact lunges you forward.
his weeping tip is smooching your cervix, ready to pump a load into your temporarily empty womb.
“say . . say you want it.”
you blink, brows drawing together as you try to focus through the drunken haze. “w-wha?”
“say you want my cum, say you wanna be a mommy f’me,” he groans, and despite the low roughness of his voice, you can hear that almost pathetic pleading underneath.
and how could you deny caleb like this?
your head bobs, throat dry. “i wan’ it. please, caleb. fill . . fill me up.”
that’s all he needs.
caleb’s thick tail gives a happy thump against the sheets as his hips start up again, this pace much more demanding than the previous. if you didn’t know any better, you’d think he’d be trying to fuck you into the mattress.
“thaaaat’s it,” he sighs, and all you can do is squeal as the bed creaks and rocks beneath you. “lemme stuff this pretty pussy full, honey.”
“i’ll . . f-fuck, ngh— give you as many pups as ya want. a whole . . a whole fucking football team—!” his words break off into a whine when you clamp down on him again, and he already knows what’s going to happen before you even try to say it.
this time, you really can’t speak. all you can do is moan and attempt silly, broken cries of his name, pleasure coiling to a fever pitch in your gut.
he knows you better than you know yourself, after all.
“mmf, a-ah, ‘m cumming— c-caleb!”
his name sounds so beautiful on your lips, like a siren’s call to his heavy, tightening balls and twitching dick.
within seconds of you gushing all over his cock, squirt spraying all over that dark, almost curly patch of pubic hair, his hips are stuttering, pretty violet eyes rolling back as he mumbles your name again and again like a damn prayer.
caleb dumps thick ropes of gooey seed into your warm, waiting womb and, oh, it is so much. much more than you expected, and it feels . . good.
a small bulge appears on your tummy where caleb has stuffed you to your limit, and you’re sure it’s going to leak out, make an even bigger mess all over your sheets.
the knot at the base of his girth swells, trapping his cum inside, and even if caleb had the traitorous thought of pulling out of you, he couldn’t.
even his basic biology knows that a single drop can’t and won’t go to waste.
he whines, hot, damp breath ghosting across your skin as he shoves his face into your neck again, that feral need mostly disappearing. you can feel his chest heaving in time with your own against your back, fluffy ears twitching.
“i’ll make up to you for rounds four and five, how about that?”
“l-let’s take a small break, okay? ‘m sorry for bein’ so rough on you, baby,” he mumbles, and your heart gives a helpless flutter at the genuine guilt in his tone.
you’ve never quite gotten used to his flips in personality.
doing gradients is actually hell on earth wtf

There was also one thing that went in the other direction in GoT. Despite a lot of foreshadowing, a large chunk of the audience set expectations for Daenerys Targaryen that they shouldn’t have. I may have posted about this before. In any case, I have a friend who moonlights as a film critic, but his day job is social worker. He called what would happen to Daenerys at the end of season 2. At the time, no one wanted to believe him. Even I was skeptical, though I had to admit the argument was a compelling one.
His argument? Look at it from the point of view of a social worker who has seen – in real life – some of the worst situations humans get into. I’m paraphrasing from memory, not quoting.
We have a subject, one Daenerys Targaryen. She’s from a family with a very long history of congenital mental illness (comparisons can be made to European royal/noble lineages). Onset of the family mental illness is usually very quick, “sudden” according to those who’ve witnessed it. Her father, “The Mad King”, was a victim of this mental illness. Orphaned at a young age after her father was killed during a rebellion, “Danny” was raised by her sole surviving older brother, who abused her physically, emotionally, and sexually. Constantly on the run and having to watch out for assassination attempts, she learned not to trust anyone. She was married at a young age to a “Khal” (Horse-Lord) against her will in order to secure an alliance and troops to regain the throne for her brother. She learned to love this Khal, and the relationship was not damaged when her brother was killed right in front of her by the Khal due to bad behavior brought on in part by the family’s congenital mental instability. Her life became more stable during her marriage, until her husband the Khal was killed. When the rest of the Dothraki Khals made it clear to her that her life as she knew it was over and that she would be expected to stay with the other widows of Khals who had passed away, over her protests, she resolved the issue by mass murder of said Khals by way of arson. Fire – fascination with it and using it to cause harm – have been a recurring motif in the family’s mental instability.
And that’s just where we were at the end of season two. As time went on, it became clearer and clearer that Daenerys was heading in the same direction, though some of the signs weren’t clear until after the fact. Every time she was confronted with an obstacle, she was likely to burn the obstacle to the ground. She would listen to advisors but increasingly adopted a “my way or the highways” mentality. Everyone kept cheering her on because she was powerful – both personally and politically – and the people she was going after were “bad people”. The magicians who just wanted to exploit her. The slavers. Criminals. Despite good advice about not crucifying all the nobles on the way to Mereen, she did so anyways. This sowed the seeds for the rebellion that would take place later. By the time the episode “The Bells” rolls around, she’s lost most of her closest advisers and friends – some she drove away, some have been killed (in a few cases by her), and some have been left behind. She’s lost one of her dragons, her “child”. She’s literally burning people who won’t swear fealty to her.
The fact that when her closest friend is killed right in front of her by Cersei it “flips the switch” and causes her family’s congenital mental issues to surface, where she uses fire to burn most of King’s landing shouldn’t have been a surprise to anyone. In fact, it wasn’t a shock to me by that point. I may have been throwing peanuts at the screen going “don’t do it, fight it” but the fact was that I already knew what she was going to do when the bells started to toll. A lot of people didn’t put the pieces together. They didn’t see the signs, they didn’t have a social worker to warn them in season 2, they loved the character. Apparently this blindness happens in real life – people don’t see the danger until afterwards.
my 10 holy grail pieces of writing advice for beginners
from an indie author who's published 4 books and written 20+, as well as 400k in fanfiction (who is also a professional beta reader who encounters the same issues in my clients' books over and over)
show don't tell is every bit as important as they say it is, no matter how sick you are of hearing about it. "the floor shifted beneath her feet" hits harder than "she felt sick with shock."
no head hopping. if you want to change pov mid scene, put a scene break. you can change it multiple times in the same scene! just put a break so your readers know you've changed pov.
if you have to infodump, do it through dialogue instead of exposition. your reader will feel like they're learning alongside the character, and it will flow naturally into your story.
never open your book with an exposition dump. instead, your opening scene should drop into the heart of the action with little to no context. raise questions to the reader and sprinkle in the answers bit by bit. let your reader discover the context slowly instead of holding their hand from the start. trust your reader; donn't overexplain the details. this is how you create a perfect hook.
every chapter should end on a cliffhanger. doesn't have to be major, can be as simple as ending a chapter mid conversation and picking it up immediately on the next one. tease your reader and make them need to turn the page.
every scene should subvert the character's expectations, as big as a plot twist or as small as a conversation having a surprising outcome. scenes that meet the character's expectations, such as a boring supply run, should be summarized.
arrive late and leave early to every scene. if you're character's at a party, open with them mid conversation instead of describing how they got dressed, left their house, arrived at the party, (because those things don't subvert their expectations). and when you're done with the reason for the scene is there, i.e. an important conversation, end it. once you've shown what you needed to show, get out, instead of describing your character commuting home (because it doesn't subvert expectations!)
epithets are the devil. "the blond man smiled--" you've lost me. use their name. use it often. don't be afraid of it. the reader won't get tired of it. it will serve you far better than epithets, especially if you have two people of the same pronouns interacting.
your character should always be working towards a goal, internal or external (i.e learning to love themself/killing the villain.) try to establish that goal as soon as possible in the reader's mind. the goal can change, the goal can evolve. as long as the reader knows the character isn't floating aimlessly through the world around them with no agency and no desire. that gets boring fast.
plan scenes that you know you'll have fun writing, instead of scenes that might seem cool in your head but you know you'll loathe every second of. besides the fact that your top priority in writing should be writing for only yourself and having fun, if you're just dragging through a scene you really hate, the scene will suffer for it, and readers can tell. the scenes i get the most praise on are always the scenes i had the most fun writing. an ideal outline shouldn't have parts that make you groan to look at. you'll thank yourself later.
happy writing :)

🧚🏻♀️Astrology Notes🌊
People with 1st house placements are really good at presenting themselves. You are very good at expressing yourself. For ex.: Jupiter in 1st house- You have a lot of wisdom and knowledge. People like to listen to you. They see you as someone who is smart and has a lot of knowledge. It gives you confidence and a sense of freedom, especially in terms of how you look. You can be very careless, and you don't care what others think of you. Uranus in 1st house- u have unique approach to life and in a way that u look or dress. Sun in 1st house- u will always shine no matter what and u can also be in a spotlight a lot. You have a certain pride that you carry with you. Saturn in 1st house- You have a lot of maturity and things you've experienced. U can have sometimes hard time to express yourself. Mars in 1st house- Your energy is very noticeable. You are almost never afraid of anything.
12th house Synastry -Sometimes it feels like the person is reading your mind and sometimes they do exactly what you think. You sometimes feel like the person is taking something away from you. Example: you're watching a podcast in the evening that you really like and the next day that person posts the same podcast. There's always some kind of connection between you that's hard to explain.
Aquarius Venus-I often see them getting divorced or having unpredictable relationships. But divorces with this sign are quite common, in fact they are much more so than with someone who has Venus and Capricorn (they are very serious and cautious in love and it takes a long time to actually open up and build a life with someone). Aquarians can sometimes be more reckless and at the same time open to new things and if they feel the energy then they will quickly enter into a relationship. They also know how to get over someone quickly. Life goes on and so do they.
Sagittarius moon-they usually always have a belief in something whatever it is. They like something they can emotionally connect with. They will usually always look for a way that will fulfill them emotionally and give them some meaning. And they take a long time to get over something emotionally even if it doesn't seem that way. The trick with them is that they don't show that much emotion on the outside, so people often think they are very chill and cold.
2nd house is house of inner feelings, comfort, luxury, music, movies, food, what kind od food u love to eat. People with many planets here are more devoted to food and wanting to be comfortable. And they like to take the easy way out. They don't like to walk or do something for too long. They don't like to change their environment.
7th house stellium means there are many things you have to find out about yourself here. You can spend a long time searching for your personality. Thats why u can actually come off as a fake a lot of times. More than someone who has 12th house placements.
Countries ruled by Scorpio: Bavaria, Morocco, Norway, Syria. The places it rules are usually muddy streams, quiet ponds, swamps, vineyards, operating rooms.
Countries ruled by Libra: Austria, Argentina, China, Egypt, Japan, Tibet. The places it rules are harbors, golf courses, the tops of buildings, lobbies, closets, tables.
Countries ruled by Aries: Bulgaria, England, Denmark, Germany. The places it rules are hilly, dry, fireplaces, ceilings, hearths, rooms in the east and prominent corner buildings facing east.
Countries ruled by Cancer: North Africa, Netherlands, Paraguay, Scotland, New Zealand. The places it rules are: streams, springs, lakes, laundries, kitchens, homes.
If you want to sleep well, you can look at your 12th house and the moon. Because that will tell you where you will sleep better and which side is good when you sleep. Moon in Cancer means you’re highly sensitive to emotional and environmental changes. You likely sleep best when you feel safe, emotionally nurtured, and in a cozy, familiar environment. If something is emotionally off, it can disrupt your sleep, leading to vivid dreams or even insomnia. Mars in the 12th house, which means your sleep isn’t always restful. Mars here can create restlessness, active dreams, or even sleep disturbances because Mars is an action-oriented planet placed in a house of subconscious energies. Your dreams may be intense, symbolic, or even feel like past-life connections. Fire Moons (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)-Might wake up in the middle of the night, especially with intense dreams.
Mercury in the 12th – Overthinking before bed, talking in sleep, or receiving messages through dreams. Jupiter in the 12th – Spiritual or prophetic dreams, dreams of foreign places or guides, may wake up feeling inspired.
People ruled by saturn have one side that is devish not meant in a bad way. But if you hurt them you will face the other side of them. Many people do not know that capricorns are very strong and that they can also be vengeful but their revenge is silent.
A lot of people when they have north node transit in 11th house & south node transit 11th house -they delete social networks or use them less. At that moment, you often feel that it is not something you connect with anymore. I also often notice that gemini rising & sagittarius rising delete social networks because they want to live their lives differently. Also, many people with virgo rising do not connect as much with social networks.
If you have Venus in Gemini you must have an intellectual rapport with someone before your affections begin to blossom. Basically, you have a lighthearted attitude toward love. Intense, heavy emo- tional commitments are like an anchor around your neck. This position of Venus also stimulates a careless and free hand for spending money.
Venus in Leo are able to attract warm feelings on the part of others. You are extravagantly affectionate and generous, buying expensive gifts for those you love and praising them to the skies in front of other people. Needless to say you are drawn to the world of theater, and many of you are blessed with superb creative gifts. Though self-indulgent and pleasure-seeking, you are capable of making a great self-sacrifice for the happiness of some- one else.
Jupiter’s position in your chart indicates how outgoing and genial you are, whether you attract money and possessions, and in what career you will have the most luck. Jupiter signifies the good things that come to you easily and with little effort. Jupiter can also be too much of a good thing, for its influence can make you extravagant, lazy and luxury-loving, profligate with money, and blindly optimistic. If things fall into your lap too easily, you never develop strength of character or spiritual wisdom.
Jupiter in Cancer-You are imaginative and sympathetic, and do well in creative pursuits. Old things have a special appeal to you. Anything involving food and drink also brings luck; many of you make successful chefs, restaurateurs, and cookbook writers.
Jupiter in Leo- You think big, are ambitious, and have a penchant for grandeur and extravagant display. In professions where this is useful, such as the entertainment industry, the world of fashion, and high-powered selling jobs, you are predestined to succeed.
Jupiter in Aquarius- You usually find good fortune through your friends and unexpected opportunities. You are also endowed with a special aptitude for music. Many Jupiter-Aquarians become well known in that world. Aquarius is also the sign of the future, and as a native of this Jupiter position you tend to be successful in professions of the modern era— television, computers, electronics, aviation, and the space industry.
Jupiter in Pisces -are singled out for success in social or religious work, politics, and philanthropic organizations. Work that involves travel over water brings other opportunities into your life. You also have a deft touch with animals, would make a fine veterinarian, and many of you have lucrative businesses breeding horses, owning cattle ranches, and raising cats and dogs for show .
Uranus in 2nd house-You tend to have an unusual source of income or your money oppor- tunities pop up suddenly and unexpectedly. Antiques, curios, and collectibles are lucrative for you.
Jupiter in 2nd house-you tend to make money easily and have a talent for financial dealings. Other people are attracted to your expansive ways and you often benefit through social contacts. Traveling or the travel industry is another source of wealth for you.
Moon inn 3rd house-You tend to think emotionally and have a strong imagination. You dislike routine and your life is marked by many short trips. You have a good memory, often change your opinion. But you can also be very moody.
Sun in 4th house-You take pride in your home and family; from the time you were young you had a deep need to establish roots. One or both of your parents was a dominant influence in your life; in some cases you had to struggle for independence.
Mercury in 4th house-Your home is often a place of study or work, and the work you do may lead to changes in your residence. Your parents and early home life stimulated your curiosity to learn.
-Rebekah🧜🏼♀️🍀

I absolutely LOVED this moment in the golden raven :
laila sighed in disappointment. "I'd love to talk to [andrew] one day. he's very good." "he will be court," jean said. "so will you," kevin said. jeremy chipped in with a quick, "if you want to be."
first of all I love how laila praised andrew because yes he is, in fact, very good.
but most strinkingly we have jean, who has very strong opinions when it comes to exy and is NOT shy about sharing them, declaring that andrew is so good he will be court.
like we all know how talented andrew is because of his stats and how he can just close the goal if he decides to
even the fact that wymack signed both nicky and aaron to get andrew is a testament to his talent. he wanted andrew in his team so badly that he was willing to sign two other kids just to get him (not saying that nicky and aaron don't deserve their spots on the team they are obviously very good too but you know what I mean)
but also neil is not the most reliable narrator so every time andrew made a spectacular play, it could have been exaggerated by neil and his horny / lovesick point of view BUT NO andrew is just THAT good !!!
andrew joseph minyard is so talented that even jean moreau can acknowledge it without adding a snarky comment or criticism in the mix which is a very rare treat
and then we also have kevin, reassuring jean and showing his unwavering faith in his capacities. when jean claims that andrew will be court and kevin says "so will you", it's a statement, not a guess. he doesn't doubt it for a second. as jeremy said, it's "an unhesitating endorsement" from the queen of exy.
kevin doesn't think that he, andrew, neil, jean and jeremy will be court someday he KNOWS it. it's not if, but when.
and finally there is sweet jeremy who desperately wants jean to be happy and to be able to make his own choices. so he agrees, and he lets jean know that he absolutely can be court once he graduates because he is extremely talented, but he also wants to remind him that there are other options if that's not what he truly wants.
above everything else, jeremy wants jean to be free from his past and the ravens hold on him. he wants him to be able to do something he actually loves. he wants jean to make a choice for himself for the first time in his life. not because he had to, or because he was expected to, but because he wanted to.
it's also extremely sad because what jeremy doesn't know is that even if jean realized he doesn't like exy all that much, he wouldn't be able to stop. he's free from the nest, but the moriyamas still own him - and 80% of his salary - so he doesn't get to choose.
anyways there are just so many layers in just a few lines, I believe nora tried to give me whiplash

Saw this post and immediately thought "wow I miss CEO Sevika, this would make such a nice Angel prompt"
Not entirely sure of a premise for this but let's say....Sevika and Reader have a small fight in the morning and Reader Isn't Happy™. She gets over it rather quickly, but decides to lightly tease Sevika the rest of the day, including through meetings. After their last meeting, she traps Sev in her office and tells her "Eat it" as an "apology."
FUCK YESSS this is so hot ehhehe
men and minors dni
"heyyyy..." seamus trails off as he walks into the break room beside you. you glare up at him.
"i don't wanna hear it."
"i didn't even say anything!" seamus exclaims. he walks to the coffee maker, his eyes on you the entire time as he fiddles with it. you sigh.
"we're fighting." you explain.
seamus nods. "that much is clear."
you cringe. "is she being a bitch?" you ask. you know how your wife can get when you're not there to tell her to bite her tongue. seamus makes a squeaky noise, then gives you a constipated expression.
"no." he lies. you snort and shake your head.
"fuck. i'm sorry. she went behind my back and scheduled herself a meeting on her birthday weekend." you explain. seamus pouts and sits beside you.
"but you guys always do something fun for her birthday."
"i know. guess not this year." you say with a sad shrug.
in past years, your birthday celebrations ranged from fancy dinners to weekend getaways. but it's not even the fact that you're missing out on a nice date with your wife. it's more than that.
"she just-- she doesn't fuckin' take breaks unless i force her, y'know? and these past few years she hasn't tried to argue takin' her birthday off. i just finally thought i got her used to takin' care of herself and she goes behind my back to do this shit..."
seamus frowns and pats your shoulder. "if it makes you feel any better, she's clearly regretting her decision now."
you giggle a little. it does make you feel better. "i should go back in there, huh?" you ask.
seamus nods. "yes, please. i forgot how fuckin' scary she is without you. nearly pissed myself givin' her the morning report."
you giggle and pat seamus' shoulder. "you're a good friend."
"and you're a good wife!" he shouts behind you. you laugh and shake your head as you walk toward your shared office with sevika.
she's drawn all the blinds-- a clear sign that she's in a bad mood. you roll your eyes and take a deep breath, then push into the office.
sevika's eyes dart up from her desk, her gaze softening as it lands on you. something inside you flutters. she's still so sweet, even when she's pissing you off.
"seamus says you're being mean." you say, closing the door behind you. you lock it, not wanting anybody to walk in on you and sevika arguing. sevika sinks into her chair, guiltily.
"well, what do you expect? my wife's been giving me the cold shoulder all day."
you roll your eyes and walk over to sevika's desk, sitting in front of her. she smiles sweetly up at you, wrapping her arms around your legs. you shake your head in amusement. "you're not off the hook y'know." you sigh as you reach down to cup sevika's face, combing your fingers through her hair.
sevika nods in your grasp. "i know." she whispers. "does it make it any better if i tell you i cleared an entire week out for us at the end of the month?" she asks.
you have to bite your cheek to keep from laughing in excitement. "what?"
"i rearranged some things. booked us a room at our favorite little resort."
"you did, huh?" you ask. sevika kisses your hand and nods.
"i'm sorry." she says finally. "baby, i really am." she kisses a trail up your arm, nuzzling against the crook of your elbow. you frown down at your wife, trying your best to keep your resentment strong, but it's so hard when she's so cute. you can't believe this is the woman all your co-workers find scary, she's like a fucking puppy.
"mmm. i dunno if i can forgive you yet." you say.
sevika pouts. "what can i do to make it up to you?" she asks.
you giggle. you were hoping she'd ask that. you squish her cheeks together in your hands kissing her puckered lips, before letting go of your hold on her and turning around in her grip, laying yourself on her desk and wiggling your ass in her face just a bit.
"eat it." you say simply, pulling your skirt up and your panties to the side.
the sound sevika makes is equally endearing and arousing. something needy and guttural, a hint of surprise overwhelmed by a rush of need. she doesn't need to be told twice. you gasp as her hands smack your ass cheeks, spreading you open and humming as she takes a good look at you. you lean down onto your joint desks, grabbing your cardigan from the back of your chair to muffle your moans.
sevika spits on your asshole then dives forward, sloppily eating you out.
you shiver against the desks, reaching back to grab sevika's wrist. fuck she's good with her mouth. she's sloppy and passionate, her nose rubbing deliciously at your asshole while her tongue fucks your cunt. her chin's rubbing against your clit with her movements, and the little moans she's letting out at the taste of you are making you dizzy.
"fuck, i love you." you sigh, clawing at her forearm. sevika's free arm smacks your ass-- her response to your words. you giggle. "you piss me off sometimes but-- ah!" you giggle as sevika bites your inner thigh. "but you make up for it pretty well." you finish.
sevika chuckles against you and kisses her bite mark. "can't be fully forgiven 'til you cum on my tongue." she says. you snort.
"you're a freak." you say with glee. sevika giggles, then flicks your clit with her tongue. you gasp. "fuck-- please." you beg. sevika hums and sucks your clit into her mouth, her thumb working circles around your asshole. you groan and push back against her. "please!" you whine.
"shhhhh baby." sevika scolds, smacking your ass with an impact much louder than your whine had been. "somehow i'm the freak while you're beggin' for my fingers in your ass."
you growl and reach back, pulling sevika's face back toward your cunt by her hair. she muffles her giggles against you and continues her work, lapping up your arousal and working her thumb against your ass again. "fuck, i'm close." you whine.
sevika grunts against you, hooks her thumb inside you, and chuckles as you fall apart. you bury your face into your cardigan, trying to muffle your moans. judging by the way sevika's moaning against you, though, you aren't doing a very good job.
your body sags against the desks when sevika pulls away. she snorts, smacks your ass one last time, and straightens your clothes back out before pulling you to sit down in her lap.
you sigh dreamily, letting your head lean back on her shoulder, kissing her cheek as she caresses your body.
"so... am i forgiven?" she asks. you giggle.
"mmm. i guess."
sevika grins. "nice. you wanna help me with these tax forms?" she asks, gesturing to the pile of papers on her desk. you snort.
"hell no."
sevika pouts up at you, and you wiggle in her lap against her hard, hot, trapped dick. "f-fuck, watch it baby!" she whines.
you laugh. "how about i crawl under our desks and take care of this for you while you do all the boring paperwork for me, hmm?"
sevika's smile is blinding. fuck, how hopelessly in love with someone do you have to be that the sight of their tooth gap turns you on?
"that sounds like a real good plan, baby." she says. you giggle and shimmy off her lap, only to be stopped by her arms wrapping around your waist. "wait." she whispers. you turn to face her, ready to ask what she needs, when she leans forward and kisses you sweetly. she pulls away, smiles at you, then shrugs and leans in to kiss you one more time. "okay. now you can blow me." she says.
you burst into giggles as you make your way under her desk.

i could be a florist
rafe cameron one shot, inspired by ‘i could be a florist’ by olivia dean.
summary: rafe is a supportive boyfriend, having empowered his girlfriend to achieve her dream of becoming a florist.
warning: not proofread…
a/n: i have an idea for a part two of this, let me know if you’d want that!

“rafe!” you yelled, playfully thumping his chest with your palm, “i don’t know what to say — you shouldn’t have done this.”
you brought your hands to cover your face, in an attempt to cover your blushed cheeks; though your attempts were short lived as rafe took your hands into his own — cradling them as he stared at you in pure adoration.
“i wanted to,” he simply said, not accepting your rejection, “wanna see you succeed, baby. y’always said you wanted to be a florist.”
“i did,” a smile tugged at your lips, the fact he cared so much about you caused warmth to blossom in your chest, “and i could be a florist… thanks to you.”
bringing yourself to his height, you stood on your tip-toes to pepper kisses along his jaw. a small gesture that communicated your endless gratitude towards the boy in front of you.
“best get decorating, yeah?”
rafe worked tirelessly alongside you to perfect the shop: ensuring it was perfect, completely how you had envisioned it. the walls painted a dusty pink, dark oak accents flooded the space; flowers upon flowers grew around the room — chrysanthemums, lilies, orchids, alstroemeria, carnations… you name it, you had it all.
the two of you had spent weeks in matching overalls. by the time your project had come to a close, your attire was painted with a reminder of the countless paint fights you had endured.
a good, cursive font adorned the entrance; a sign that read ‘blossom and co.’ — a subtle nod to the man who’d put all of his efforts into making the shop thrive… while also taking care of the business side of things for you.
rafe pulled you into his chest, as you both stood admiring your work, “it’s perfect, rafey.”
tears threatened to fall onto the plump skin of your cheeks, as you looked up at your boyfriend. his thumb soon wiped them away, as quick as they had arrived, “s’alright, darling: you did it.”
the bell echoed throughout the shop, signifying the entrance of your first customer. with a grin plastered on your face, you turned to greet them, “hey, welcome! can i help— rafe?”
“daisies, please baby,” he smirked.
you played into his little game, grabbing a bunch of daisies and ringing them up on the till, “that’ll be five dollars.”
a laugh escaped him, as though he’d realised the totally ridiculousness of the situation he had created… but he paid nonetheless, tipped you even.
“didn’t think i’d be serving daisies to crazies this early on,” you joked, earning yourself a wink.
“only thing i’m crazy for is you,” he bowed slightly, dipping his head as he handed you the bouquet in a sort of romantic gesture. you couldn’t help the giggle that escaped you, when he leaned over the counter to kiss you.
this was the first of many of rafe’s visits to your shop … in fact, he stopped by everyday: to buy you a bunch of flowers.

Locked out
____________________________________________
where you lock yourself out of your hotel room and end up in Noel's.
[18+ !!!] [enemies to lovers]
____________________________________________
The job had its perks. Traveling the world, working with some of the biggest gigs, free booze—Oasis had money to burn, after all. But there was one massive, massive downside.
Noel fucking Gallagher.
It wasn’t just that he was a sarcastic, self-important, grumpy bastard (which he absolutely was). It wasn’t even that he always had some smart-arse comment locked and loaded, ready to wind you up. It was the fact that he seemed to enjoy it, like taking the piss out of you was a personal hobby.
The lads had clocked it ages ago.
"How old are you two, seriously?" Guigs had said just the other night, shaking his head as you and Noel argued over god knows what. "You’re worse than me Nan and Grandad, swear down."
"Yeah, the sexual tension’s killin’ me," Bonehead had added, smirking as he took a drag from his cigarette.
Noel had scoffed, shaking his head. "Fucking hell, mate. I’d sooner shag the local nitty than deal with this one."
You flipped him off, unfazed. "Oh, yeah? I bet the nitty would be the one having to get tested after that, dickhead."
It was constant, this back-and-forth, from the moment you woke up to the second you clocked out. Noel loved to threaten to fire you at least once a day, always with the same lazy reasoning.
"Should’ve sacked you ages ago," he’d mutter, watching you tune his guitar before a gig. "Only reason you’re still ‘ere is ‘cause I can’t be arsed teachin’ some other muppet how I like it."
"Yeah, yeah," you’d reply, never looking up. "Don’t do me any favors, Gallagher."
And so it went.
Now, though, none of that mattered. Not the bickering, not the jabs. Because right now? You were stood in the dimly lit hotel lobby, staring at a handwritten sign that might as well have been a death sentence.
"LOBBY CLOSED. OPERATING HOURS: 6 AM - 12 PM."
"Fucking great," you muttered, running a hand down your face.
It had been a long day, and all you wanted was a shower, a bed, and maybe a few hours of peace before having to deal with Noel’s bullshit all over again tomorrow. But no, instead, you had to stand here like a mug because somehow, in your exhaustion, you’d managed to lock yourself out of your room.
Just as you were debating whether you could break into your own room with sheer willpower alone, the sound of footsteps echoed through the lobby.
And just like fucking clockwork—
"Eh?"
You knew that voice.
"Did you get lost, or what?"
You shut your eyes for a brief moment, praying for strength, then turned to see Noel strolling in through the revolving door.
He was still dressed from wherever the fuck he’d been; jeans, adidas trainers, a zip-up jacket with the collar popped just enough to make him look like he was about to sell you dodgy gear in a car park.
You gritted your teeth. "Fuck off, Noel."
His smirk widened, slow and knowing. "Ohh, someone’s touchy."
You turned back to the desk, hoping he’d get bored and leave. No such luck. He sauntered up beside you, eyes flicking to the sign before back to you.
Realization dawned, and then he just laughed.
"No." He pointed at you, shaking his head like he couldn’t believe his luck. "No fuckin’ way. You locked yourself out, didn’t you?"
You glared at him, crossing your arms. "No."
He raised an eyebrow, amused.
You exhaled sharply. "Okay, maybe, and no one is even here! How is a lobby not 24/7?"
"And you didn’t take your key, and you didn’t check the sign first," he said, as if reading from a list of your stupid decisions. "Jesus Christ, love. That’s incredible."
You scowled. "Piss off."
Noel, clearly enjoying himself, leaned against the counter, eyes twinkling with pure delight. "Me? Oh, nah. I think I’ll stick around, actually. This is too fuckin’ good."
You groaned. "Go to bed, Noel."
"Bed?" He feigned a yawn, stretching his arms dramatically. "Oh, yeah. That’s right. I can go to bed. Because I have access to me own fuckin’ room."
You clenched your fists. "I have a backstage pass. I’ll just sleep in the tour bus."
Noel snorted. "Yeah? Or on one of them couches over there?" He gestured vaguely to the dimly lit lobby seating area. "Might be comfy, if no one nicks your shite first."
You stilled.
He grinned. "Ohh, right. Didn’t think about that, did ya?"
You huffed. "Fuck."
Noel pressed a hand to his chest in mock sympathy. "Tragic, really." Then, after a beat, "... Guess you’re stuck here then."
You gave him a flat look. "Guess so."
He smirked, clearly waiting for you to crack.
Which is why it pained you—physically—when you exhaled and muttered, "Or… I could stay in yours. Just ‘til the desk opens."
Noel blinked. "Oh?"
You clenched your jaw. "So no one nicks me shite."
His smirk returned, slow and victorious. "Yeah, yeah. ‘Course. Wouldn’t want anyone robbin’ your precious little pass, would we?"
You resisted the urge to deck him.
"Alright then," he said, turning toward the lifts, his voice filled with pure satisfaction. "C’mon, roomie."
You glared at his back as you followed him down the corridors.
Noel shut the door behind him and turned to face you, arms crossed, an insufferable smirk plastered across his face.
"Well, well," he said, leaning back against the door. "Never thought I’d see the day you begged to stay in me room."
You scoffed, rolling your eyes as you dropped your bag by the chair. "Begged? Fuck off, Noel. I suggested it ‘cause I had no choice."
He clicked his tongue, shaking his head. "Ahh, see, that’s where you’re wrong, love. You had a choice." He gestured vaguely toward the lobby. "Could’ve stayed down there, kept them couches company."
"And let some knobhead nick me pass? Yeah, right." You crossed your arms. "This is just survival, mate. Has nothing to do with you."
His smirk widened. "Yeah? Then why’re you lookin’ at me like that?"
You blinked. "Like what?"
Noel tilted his head, eyes sweeping over you, unreadable. "Like you wanna throttle me."
You huffed, exasperated. "That’s just me natural state when you’re around, Gallagher."
"Ahh." He grinned. "See, I knew you liked me."
You let out a sharp laugh. "Like you? Jesus, Noel, I wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire."
His grin didn’t falter. In fact, it only grew.
"Yeah? Funny," he mused, stepping closer, voice low, lazy. "‘Cause you’re still ‘ere, ain’t ya?"
You swallowed but held your ground. "I don’t have a room, Noel."
He hummed, nodding slowly. "Right, yeah. That’s why you’re ‘ere. Not ‘cause you wanna get me alone, see what all the fuss is about."
You scoffed, shaking your head. "You are so full of yourself."
He gave you a slow once-over, something dark and knowing flickering in his gaze. "Yeah?"
You inhaled sharply, blood running hot. "Fuck you."
Noel’s smirk twitched—almost like he’d been waiting for you to say that.
"Ohh, wouldn’t you like that?"
The air shifted.
You were on him before you could think, hands grabbing at his shirt, pulling him down, crashing your mouth against his.
Noel barely had a second to react before he was pushing back, hands gripping your waist, shoving you up against the nearest wall. The impact sent a lamp wobbling on the bedside table, the dull thud of your back against the wall swallowed by the sound of both your ragged breaths.
His lips were warm, rough, demanding. His fingers dug into your waist, like he needed to anchor himself.
You bit his bottom lip, hard, just to be a dickhead.
Noel groaned against your mouth, grip tightening. "Oh, you wanna play it like that, do ya?"
Before you could smirk, he grabbed your wrists and pinned them against the wall, pressing in, chest flush against yours.
You yanked a hand free, fingers tangling in his hair, tugging just to make him groan—and when he did, when his breath stuttered, you felt it everywhere.
"Jesus Christ," he muttered against your lips.
You smirked. "What’s wrong, Gallagher?" you breathed, voice teasing, drunk on the power shift. "Thought you could handle me?"
Noel laughed. "Oh, sweetheart," he murmured, lips grazing your jaw, "I could ruin you."
Your stomach dropped.
You clenched your jaw. "Yeah?"
"Yeah."
Your grip tightened in his hair again, yanking his head back just enough to make him hiss. His smirk didn’t falter, though—if anything, it widened, smug and infuriating.
"You arrogant twat," you breathed, dragging your nails down the back of his neck. "Think you’re some fuckin’ god, don’t ya?"
Noel chuckled—dark, low. "Please, love," he murmured, voice dripping with mockery. "You’ve been gaggin’ for this since the day we met. Don’t pretend otherwise."
Your teeth gritted. "You’re deluded."
"Yeah?" He stepped closer, the heat of him pressing against you, trapping you between his body and the wall. "Then why ain’t you pushin’ me away?"
Your fingers curled into the fabric of his shirt before you even realized it, and that was all it took.
One second, you were glaring up at him, seething, and the next—you were airborne.
A breathless gasp tore from your throat as he threw you onto the bed, the mattress dipping beneath the sudden force of your body. Before you could even scramble upright, he was on you—knees bracketing your hips, hands gripping your wrists, pressing them into the sheets.
"You bastard—"
A sharp smack landed on your thigh, jolting you, heat blooming where his palm connected.
You froze.
Noel grinned. "What was that, sweetheart?"
Your breathing was uneven, chest rising and falling rapidly beneath him. You hated the way your body betrayed you—the way your back arched, the way your thighs instinctively clenched together at the sting of his hand.
He noticed.
Of course he noticed.
His smirk deepened. "Ohhh, that’s what you like, is it?" Another sharp slap—same spot, same deliberate pressure, just enough to make you jolt. "That why you’ve been windin’ me up all this time? Hopin’ I’d do this?"
You bit back a gasp as his teeth grazed your jaw, lips teasing over the heated skin just below your ear, fingers tightening where he held you down.
"You gonna let me go, or you just gonna sit here runnin’ your gob all night?" you shot back, arching up slightly beneath him, trying to gain some kind of control back.
Noel laughed, a little breathless. "Oh, you love this, don’t ya?" His hands shifted, releasing your wrists just to drag down your arms, over your waist, gripping your hips hard. "All that fight, all that fuckin’ attitude—"
"You love it," you shot back, daring.
Something snapped behind his eyes.
Before you could say another word, his mouth crashed against yours again.
It was all teeth, all tension, years of resentment and frustration and something else entirely spilling out between you.
You clawed at him in return, nails dragging up his back, yanking at his hair, swallowing the groan that tore from his throat.
"Still wanna tell me to fuck off, love?" Noel rasped against your lips, breath uneven.
Your fingers fisted in his shirt, pulling him back down. "Shut up." you muttered, crashing your mouth against his again.
He barely hesitated before paying you back, fisting a hand into your hair and pulling your head back, exposing the curve of your throat. His mouth was on you in an instant, hot and open, biting down just enough to make you gasp.
"Fuckin’ knew it," he muttered, voice thick with something triumphant. "Knew you’d be like this—mouthy little thing until you’re under me."
"And yet again, shut it." you snapped, even as your back arched, chasing the feel of him.
He laughed, breathless and sharp, his free hand sliding down to your thigh, gripping hard. Without warning, he flipped you onto your stomach, pressing you down against the mattress with the weight of him. You let out a sound somewhere between frustration and something else entirely, but any protest died in your throat when his hand slapped against your arse, the sting shooting straight through you.
"That shut you up quick, didn’t it?" he murmured, lips ghosting over the shell of your ear.
You tried to glare at him over your shoulder, but the effect was ruined by the way your breath hitched when he did it again, the sharp slap sending heat curling low in your stomach.
"Say it," he taunted, his grip tightening on your hip. "Say you want me."
You clenched your jaw, refusing to give him the satisfaction.
But Noel was nothing if not persistent. His hand slid lower, teasing, just enough to make you squirm beneath him. His teeth grazed your shoulder, his breath warm against your skin. "C’mon, sweetheart. We both know you do."
Your pride was a stubborn thing, but your body was a traitor.
You turned your head just enough to meet his gaze, eyes dark with something heady and reckless. "Go on, then," you breathed. "Do your worst."
His fingers dug into your hips as he dragged you back against him, his grip bruising, possessive. You barely had a moment to catch your breath before his teeth found your shoulder again, biting down just enough to make you jolt beneath him. He groaned at the way you twitched, how your body betrayed that last shred of resistance you were so desperately clinging to.
"That’s more like it," he muttered against your skin, his voice thick with amusement. "Knew you just needed someone to put you in your place."
You scoffed, even as your breath came quicker. "You think that’s you?"
He laughed. "Oh, love," he murmured, dragging his mouth up the side of your neck, "I know it is."
His hands slid lower, mapping the shape of you, fingers pressing into every curve like he wanted to commit it to memory. He moved with a slow, deliberate kind of cruelty, reveling in every shudder, every little sound you didn’t mean to make. You clenched your jaw, still stubborn, but it only made him smirk against your skin.
"Still holding out on me?" he whispered, lips brushing your ear. "Let’s see how long that lasts."
Then his hands gripped tighter, and he moved—a slow, devastating roll of his hips that had you sucking in a sharp breath. You felt the shape of him pressed firmly against you, the sheer heat of him burning through the layers between you both.
And then, just to be cruel, he stilled.
You let out an involuntary sound of frustration, which only made his grin widen. "Oh, what’s that?" he teased, rolling his hips just slightly, barely giving you anything. "Getting impatient, are we?"
You gritted your teeth, refusing to play into it.
His breath ghosted over your ear, smug and infuriating. "You wanna try that again, sweetheart?" His hand slid down, teasing at the edge of your waistband, making heat curl low in your stomach. "Or am I gonna have to make you say it?"
You swallowed hard, every nerve in your body alive, burning with the heat of him. Your pride screamed at you to hold out just a little longer, to refuse him one last time.
But then he rocked against you again, the friction sending sparks up your spine, and every ounce of stubbornness melted right out of you.
"Fuck," you muttered, barely more than a breath. "Please."
Noel chuckled, dragging his lips over your shoulder. "There she is."
The moment that single word fell from your lips, his control snapped. His fingers curled into the waistband of your clothes, yanking them down with a rough impatience that sent a shiver racing through you. His trousers quickly followed, ending up in a pile on the floor.
A sharp gasp tore from your throat as he pressed against you again, now with nothing between you. The heat of him, how hard he already was, it made your stomach twist in anticipation. But instead of giving you what you were desperate for, he dragged the moment out, hands roaming over your bare skin, taking his time.
"You feel that?" he murmured, rolling his hips just enough for you to feel the full length of him pressing against you, the slow friction making your breath catch. "That’s what you’ve been fighting, sweetheart. Tell me—was it worth it?"
You barely had time to shudder before he reached back, guiding himself against you, teasing, just barely pressing in before retreating again.
You shifted, pushing back against him, but his grip tightened immediately, holding you in place. "Ah, ah," he taunted, fingers still digging into your hips. "You finally beg for it, and now you think you’re in charge?"
You opened your mouth to snap something back—maybe something sharp, maybe something desperate, you weren’t even sure—but before you could, he thrust inside you in one smooth, deep motion.
The air left your lungs in a sharp, broken gasp.
"There you go." he muttered, his voice a little rougher now.
He barely gave you a moment to adjust before he set a brutal pace, dragging out only to slam back in, the force of it driving you further into the mattress. The sounds of skin against skin, breathless, ragged gasps, and the creak of the bed quickly were the only things filling the space between you.
You fisted the sheets, struggling to hold onto even a shred of composure, but Noel was relentless. His fingers curled around your jaw, tilting your head back slightly. "Listen to yourself" he murmured, lips brushing your ear. "Tried so hard to act like you didn’t want this. And now you’re dripping for me."
The humiliation only made the heat in your belly coil tighter.
As if sensing it, Noel let out a low chuckle. "You like that, don’t you?" He drove into you harder, just to hear the little choked noise that escaped your throat. "Fuck, you’re taking me so well."
His other hand slid between your bodies, fingers finding that sensitive spot between your legs. The second he touched you, you clenched harder around him, and Noel groaned, sending a fresh wave of arousal crashing through you.
"Shit," Noel rasped, his pace stuttering for half a second before he caught himself. "Filthy fuckin’ thing, aren’t you?"
His grip on your hips was bruising, each snap of his hips knocking you further into the mattress, dragging another broken sound from your throat. You couldn’t even think, couldn’t do anything but take it, your body molded to his will, wrecked under the sheer force of him.
And he knew it.
"Where’s all that attitude now, huh?" His voice was tinged with mockery, as his hand smoothed up the curve of your spine, just for a moment, just long enough to make you think he might show some mercy.
Then he fisted his hand into your hair and yanked.
A sharp gasp ripped from your lips as your head was wrenched back, the burn at your scalp sending a jolt straight through you. Your back arched instinctively, pressing you closer against him, the new angle making you whimper.
"That’s more like it," Noel murmured, his grip in your hair tightening as he used it to pull you back against him, making you feel every inch of him sinking even deeper.
His other hand slid up your throat, fingers pressing just enough to make your pulse hammer under his touch.
"You like when I handle you like this, don’t you?" he muttered, voice a low rasp against your ear.
He loosened his grip on your throat just enough for you to speak, but your words failed you. All you could do was let out a broken, pleading sound.
Noel groaned, his fingers flexing around your throat like he felt the way you clenched around him. "Fuck, you’re gonna make me come just with these sweet desperate moans love."
He wrenched your head back a bit further, forcing your spine into a deeper arch, forcing you to take him exactly how he wanted. Every thrust was rough, deliberate, his hips slamming against you hard enough to bruise. Your body had no choice but to follow, every nerve ending alight, a coil of unbearable tension winding tighter and tighter in your core.
"No more remarks? No more telling me to fuck off?" he taunted, breath hot against your cheek.
Your fingers scrambled for purchase against the sheets, your mind a haze of pleasure and frustration. You wanted to say something, wanted to bite back just to spite him, but he was wrecking you, and you could barely form a single coherent thought.
So instead, you just whimpered his name.
"Fuck, that’s it," he rasped, voice wrecked. "You gonna come for me, sweetheart? You gonna fall apart just like this, with my cock buried inside you?"
His fingers dipped lower again, rubbing against your clit in tight, unrelenting circles, the pace of his thrusts turning ragged, desperate. The coil inside you twisted tighter, pleasure crashing over you in waves until you could barely breathe.
"You close?" he taunted, yanking your head back again, making sure you felt every single inch of him. "I can feel it, sweetheart, feel you gripping me so fuckin’ tight. Just let go. Come for me."
Your body locked up, pleasure blinding, white-hot and overwhelming as it crashed over you in wave after wave. You were dimly aware of your own broken cries, of the way your walls clenched around him like a vice, but nothing existed beyond the pure bliss of it.
Noel groaned, voice strangled, as he fucked you through it, dragging out every last shudder, his pace turning frantic. His grip on your hair tightened, his hips slamming against yours one last time before he buried himself deep with a low, wrecked curse.
For a moment, the only sound in the room was the sharp, uneven rhythm of your breathing.
Noel was still draped over you, his weight grounding, his skin hot where it pressed against yours. Neither of you moved. Neither of you spoke. It was like neither of you wanted to be the first to break whatever fragile thing had settled between you.
Eventually, he exhaled, a deep, satisfied sound, before rolling onto his side, taking you with him. His arm hooked around your waist, pulling you flush against him, his chest rising and falling against your back.
"Well," he murmured, voice hoarse, teasing, but softer than before. "That wasn't so bad, was it?"
You huffed a breath, still too dazed to formulate a proper response. He felt the way you relaxed against him, how you didn’t immediately shove him away.
A quiet beat passed before he spoke again, voice low but sincere.
"Didn’t think you’d actually let me touch you like that."
You hesitated, your fingers idly tracing over his forearm where it rested against your stomach. "Didn’t think I’d want you to," you admitted.
He made a sound—half amusement, half something thoughtful. "And now?"
You swallowed, feeling the weight of the question.
There was no point in denying it, not now.
"I do want you to now, but you’re still a mug." you muttered.
Noel chuckled, low and lazy, nuzzling his nose against the curve of your shoulder.
You turned slightly in his hold, just enough to meet his gaze. He was already watching you, eyes half-lidded.
"Maybe we should stop pretending we hate each other," you said, voice softer now, more thoughtful.
Noel’s lips twitched, amusement flickering in his gaze. "Oh, love," he murmured, brushing a strand of hair from your face, fingers lingering at your cheek. "I never hated you."
Your heart stumbled.
He let the words settle, his thumb grazing the curve of your jaw, before he smirked. "Just really, really wanted to shut you up."
You rolled your eyes, but the bite was gone, replaced by something warm. "And what do you want now?"
His expression turned serious—just for a second. Then, he tugged you closer, pressing his mouth against yours, slow and lingering.
"You," he murmured against your lips. "Think I always have."

Mouthwashing anthro designs that came to me in a dream. Thought it'd be fun if I gave my own spin to them.
I have my reasons and other things. All of it will be below cut.
Curly - Big horned sheep, represents leadership, protection & power but also naivety & being overly trusting. Sheep are also a livestock animal for meat and wool, in which later determines his fate as the events go on. I could've chosen him to be a herding dog which would explain more on his position & how much he trusted Jimmy. Though, I think the "loyal & incredibly trusting" dog trope is overdone, as well as not exactly fitting for my version of the Tulpar crew. I think that a sheep would be a much better fit, its ironic. Sheep like to stick around other sheep that they're familiar with. Curly having horns would add more to his large frame and structure, a powerful strong presence amongst them and would be considered the dominating sheep of the flock, which corresponds to sheep hierarchy. Jimmy - Wolfdog, both animals represent two things. Typically of strong loyalty and kinship wolves with their packs and dogs' undying love for their companions. However, neither of these things are true to him. They instead represent his false leadership and loyalty. Wolfdogs are typically trained extensively to be considered 'civilized'. Their instinctual behaviors dominate, hence can be dangerous and unpredictable. They are very high-maintenance animals. They’re also pack animals... wolf packs tend to be lead by a pair of mates instead of a singular wolf, they’re not equipped to lead a whole pack alone. Alpha wolves are a myth product of one man, Rudolf Skenel. Jimmy sees himself as such but doesn’t directly call himself as such other than ‘leader’. They are still wild animals, regardless of origins. People have them as novelties, but I digress. I specifically chose him to be a wolfdog exactly for the lengths that people have to do in order to keep them 'tame' in which is what Curly has to do but kept being neglectful to the signs. “Sheep like to stick around other sheep that they're familiar with.”
I made him have more dominantly dog features to hide the fact that he’s part wolf. However, I think the analogy I’m working with still works as there are wild dogs out there. Anya - Hare, antelope jackrabbit. In the ancient Greek/Roman world, hares represented fertility, love and lust. They were believed to be the favored sacrifice to the two Gods of love Aprodite and Eros. It was also believed that consuming the flesh of the animal would enhance beauty for several days. She is none of those things, never wanted to be seen as such and yet they're forced upon her. Fertility is a curse that she bares, love and lust are the things that haunt her. Her being a jackrabbit, she has the misfortune of attracting predators. Just like how women have the misfortune to attract the worst of men. From Jimmy's perspective, he sees her as unlucky surrounding the beliefs from where he came from, incompetent and a waste of time. He absolutely has no respect for her for both her status as a woman and of her species. This one is my favorite, mainly because she's my favorite but anyway. I think I chose the right animal for her. It was a bit hard to communicate what my idea is for her but it hit just right. I hope it isn't too confusing due to my wording. Her being a hare instead of a rabbit is pretty simple, 1.) Daisuke already pre-occupies that front, 2.) hares aren't seen as conventional by most people, they aren't round and pudgy compared to their rabbit counterparts. I think their eyes make them look sad, even if it makes them look constantly afraid which is somewhat of a bonus point? Daisuke - Domestic cat, siamese + bobtail cat. This breed of cat are said to keep evil spirits away and brought good luck to their owners, they are also high energy and very extroverted bunch which I think brings great representation of his exterior attitude. Some also believe that they symbolize balance & harmony. Of course, all of this would just be how he's framed to be the light of the Tulpar crew. As for its opposite representation they are standoffish, lazy and overall annoying; primarily came from the negative impression of cats, this is how Jimmy views him, considering his species he would even go as far as thinking that he's a spoiled brat. Being part bobtail has something more to do with how they have a rabbit-like appearance, an animal that's frequently represented as innocence and in contrast of its opposite, the wolf. Swansea – A (whooper) swan, duh. They represent love, beauty, grace and wisdom which are all of the things that he thinks he lacks. He does possess a lot of wisdom, him knowing how to mend for his mistakes and actually fixing them, all the while being aware of him not exactly being good and pereceiving his life. He sees it as something ugly, having lived through it is ugly and therefore he thinks, he too, is ugly. He sees himself as the ugly duckling who never transformed. Swansea doesn’t realize that he’s a lot more beautiful than he could ever imagine for being a good man alone. Swans also represent loyalty, however its original meaning is more or so referring to the fact that swans mate for life but this will be used to say that he’s an incredibly reliable man amongst the Tulpar crew. As much as he dislikes to admit, Swansea has a lot of love to give towards those whom he cares about, especially his children. Swans are famously known to be good parents to their children, even going as far as adopting orphaned goslings (in this case Daisuke, who isn’t an orphan but he might as well be). They’re incredibly protective animals to their young and will protect them at all costs. However, if they’re weak or are sick, they will not hesitate to mercy kill their children.

The Red Thread of Fate… To your surprise, it turns out Hotch believes in it.
pairing: Aaron Hotchner x reader || tags: fem!reader, bau!reader, soulmate AU || wc: 1.2k || navigation

You put the cup of coffee on the table in front of you, then pick up the Cosmo you left open. Out of the corner of your eye you see the small half-smile that appears on Hotch’s lips at the sight, but he doesn’t say a word, he just returns his attention to the report in front of him.
“I hate these articles so much,” Emily suddenly says in the seat next to yours, pointing at the page you’re currently reading. You send a questioning look her way, and she turns in her seat to face you. “I once took their “signs he’s into you” piece seriously, made a move on the guy, and it turned out he was into men.”
Somehow Derek heard this story over the music he was listening to, because he pushes the headphones down to his neck as he laughs. “Don’t tell me you actually used to believe what they write. It’s all stupid,” he says.
After briefly wondering if you should kick his shin under the table, you decide it’s not worth the fight. “It temporarily shuts down my brain,” you begin to explain. “That’s more than enough for me.”
Suddenly, Hotch lays the report on the table and raises his gaze to look at you. “Good thinking. I would have been disappointed if it turned out you’re the type to consider this magazine as some sort of a Bible for women.”
Derek and Emily exchange glances, and even you raise your brows in surprise. Why is he paying attention to a conversation about such a magazine? Not like you mind, of course, which sometimes truly bothers you. You shouldn’t want his attention this badly, your dreams shouldn’t be plagued with thoughts of him being with you.
It all began when the first signs of troubles with his marriage began to show. You saw that something was eating him, so one day after work you went to his office and started a conversation to figure out why he always stayed late. For some reason, he decided to tell you the truth, going into details that were none of your business.
Is it an emotional affair? Maybe.
Is it bad? Probably.
Are you happy to have even a scrap of his attention? Surely.
“Did you really think that’s a possibility with me? That I’m like that?” you ask hesitantly.
Hotch’s gaze is fixed on you, as it was just the two of you on the plane. “No,” he admits softly.
The way you’re looking at each other piques the interest of your colleagues, and not just Emily and Derek’s, but JJ and Rossi’s too. Lucky to you, Spencer is sleeping peacefully on the couch. To make sure your boss finally stops, you tear your gaze away and gently bump your foot into his leg.
Sadly, Hotch takes this as a challenge and hooks his legs around yours while returning his attention to the report. The others lose interest eventually, hopefully letting this go for now. It’s bad enough that the man across from you is playing some stupid game with you.
This is the first time he makes such an obviously flirty move, which leads you to an uncharted territory. Is he planning to take whatever is going on between you to another level? Because if he is, you’re not really sure if you’re ready for it. He’s still married, even if Haley wants a divorce, you can’t jump into a relationship with him.
When you try to untangle your legs, he subtly glances over at you with a disapproving look, one which tells you he’s not letting this thing between you end anytime soon.
You know for a fact that he and Rossi had a glass or two of whiskey at the airport while you waited for the jet to be ready, but after this case, you honestly couldn’t blame them. Maybe it’s the alcohol that gave him the courage to make a move on you, but you’re afraid he’ll regret it the next day when he sobers up.
It’s your responsibility to be smart, to help him without making him believe you want something from him. He’s handsome, intelligent, competent, and yes, every woman would be happy to have him for herself, but the timing just isn’t right.
Less than two hours later the plane lands and the team disperses to finally head home, and sadly Hotch uses this opportunity to catch you alone. He gently grabs your wrist to make you come to a halt, and when you give him a questioning look, he just shakes his head and pulls you in the direction of a place in the hangar that’s far away from everyone.
“You need to stop,” you tell him right away.
He lets out a sigh and takes a step closer to you, his hand moving up to cup your cheek. “Don’t tell me you don’t feel it. That pull, that goddamn force every time we’re close to each other. Hell, it’s even present when we’re apart, trying to get me to see you again.”
It’s insane; he’s insane if he honestly believes this. “And what is this… pull exactly?”
“It was a mistake to make you forget it,” he whispers when he rests his forehead against yours. “If I hadn’t done that, we would be together now. Maybe Haley and I would have never gotten married, because I would have been waiting for you to be old enough.”
Making you forget? “What are you talking about, Hotch?” you wonder, the conversation making less and less sense to you.
His hand drops to his side and he takes a few steps back. “You wouldn’t believe it, it’s better if you don’t know. Forget I mentioned it,” he says with a small, sad smile.
But there’s no way you’re letting that slide now, you need to know what’s happening, so you reach out for his hand to squeeze it reassuringly. A move that makes him take a sharp breath, as if your touch sent a wave of electricity through his body.
“What wouldn’t I believe?”
“That we belong together. You always found me when you were little, you were honestly getting on my nerves sometimes,” he says with a short laugh. “But… I got scared of what this was, what this could be, so I asked someone to make you forget about me, about that string that connects the two of us.”
This rang a bell in your head. “Like the Red Thread of Fate or something?” you ask him quietly, unsure about the whole thing. He nods, but remains silent, so you go on. “Hotch, it’s… Why would I believe you?”
“You don’t have to. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe you really did forget about this for good, and in that case I'll have to accept that you will never love me back. Unless, of course, you’re willing to give me a chance,” he says softly.
Blowing out the air you’ve been holding in gives you time to think it through. It must be the alcohol, there’s no other reason for this stupid story. But in that case, why doesn’t he look drunk? After another few seconds of waiting, you let out a sigh and give him your answer, hoping he will come to terms with it eventually.

how can lily be a good person if she married a bully?
I'm going to break this down because it does legitimately seem to be an issue for so many people. I received quite a few asks about this a few days ago so I'm just going to address it generally here. Apologies for the length of this, I tried to cover everything I could think of. Let's get two things out of the way first:
Firstly, if you truly believe James was an abuser, and you're seriously asking how a woman could ever marry an abusive man, this is indicative of a fundamental lack of understanding about how abuse works. This is victim-blaming rhetoric. Abusers are predatory, manipulative, and often extremely charming, and they have a specific methodology for ensnaring their victims. I highly recommend Lundy Bancroft's book Why Does He Do That for further reading on how abuse works. The reality is that women marry abusive men all the time, and it doesn't make them bad people. If you believe otherwise we simply have nothing to talk about here.
Second, the question of whether or not James ACTUALLY changed his behaviour is irrelevant here, so I'm not going to directly address it either way. The main thing is that Lily BELIEVED that he had changed, whether or not he actually did, and we know this from Harry's conversation with Remus and Sirius. We also know she wasn't aware of the full extent of the bullying, as she didn't know the details about the prank.
For the purposes of this I'm going to adopt the perspective that James never changed, had 0 character development, and was secretly a terrible person the whole time. To be clear this isn't what I believe-- but I think it's helpful to start from a similar place.
Onto the main points:
An overly forgiving nature can be a flaw, but it doesn't make someone a bad person.
Nor does it make them selfish. Even if I concede that James was irredeemably evil as a person, the fact that Lily believed him to be better than he was, even if she was wrong, makes her at worst naive, not selfish. In fact, I'd argue that it's a sign of empathising with someone too much, which is sort of the opposite of selfishness. We know that Lily had an overly-forgiving nature, because she demonstrates that with Severus when she's willing to overlook his associations with the worst people of all time. And as we know from the fact that her friends were openly critical of it, and that she suffered as a result of it, her friendship with Sev was hardly 'convenient' for her. That she forgave him and overlooked his behaviour, and defended him, despite the fact that it was actively inconvenient for her, indicates empathy (and probably too much of it) not selfishness. Being overly forgiving is an established character trait of Lily's, as she tells us she "made excuses for [Sev] for years." Making excuses for someone you love is a flaw, but not one necessarily rooted in selfishness. Again, it was actively inconvenient for Lily to make excuses for Sev. It's also a very human flaw, not one that makes her a bad person-- especially when you consider that Lily's capacity for forgiveness had its limits, as she demonstrated with Snape.
To forgive is an act of compassion... it's not done because people deserve it, it's done because they need it.
anyway with that buffy quote out of the way, lets move on
Lily owes Snape nothing.
I'm sure people will disagree, but, objectively, she just doesn't. They are not friends at this point. He has demonstrated consistently that he doesn't have enough consideration for her to stop rubbing shoulders with people who literally want to murder her, including a boy who attacked her housemate. So why is Lily expected to take into account his feelings and his history with James? Which leads right into:
It's a massive double-standard for Lily to be blamed for marrying James when Snape isn't afforded the same for associating with Death Eaters.
I mean, think what you want, but to me being a mass murderer intent on exterminating an entire subset of the population (talking about Voldemort and other DEs here, not Snape) is like, maybe, a tiny bit worse than being a bully in school. But what do I know. Snape willingly joined up with such people, knowing perfectly well what they wanted to do to Lily, the woman he loved, and everyone like her. If Lily's choice in husband makes her a selfish person, then by your own logic Snape is completely irredeemable and you should probably delete your blog about how misunderstood and babygirl he is.
Sometimes people marry or befriend terrible people.
Similar to the first point, lack of judgement is a flaw but not one that directly indicates selfishness. Again, remember, Lily believed James to have changed. She believed, whether or not she was wrong, that redemption is possible. It's extremely common for women to date and marry terrible men, unfortunately, and to be blinded to their flaws. There are many possible reasons for this. I guess you can argue that the desire to be loved is inherently selfish, but that still wouldn't make Lily notably selfish at all, rather just a normal human. Plenty of people have had the experience of dating someone who is terrible or being friends with someone who is terrible at some point in their lives, and it doesn't automatically make them terrible themselves. People make mistakes and have poor judgment occasionally. Her actions in SWM suggest she would not have tolerated nor validated any cruelty from James towards others, had she been aware of it. Anyway, once again if you're holding Lily responsible for James's actions you need to also hold Snape responsible for the actions of his buddies. If it's selfish for Lily to associate with a bully (who she believed to have reformed) it's straight up devoid of any humanity whatsoever for Snape to KNOWINGLY associate with people like Mulciber, Voldemort, and Bellatrix. I don't actually believe this btw, I'm just following the logic through.
Furthermore, it's completely unfair to blame Lily for, in particular, the past actions of her husband.
As we clearly see in SWM, she did NOT tolerate his behaviour during the years before they started dating. James's behaviour is simply not Lily's responsibility, and neither is Snape's. It's not her job to fix them nor pay for their mistakes, nor should she have to investigate and tally up all their past wrongdoings when making her own choices. If James was actively being a menace and Lily was just watching going 'teehee' I'd understand this more, but again, she was NOT aware. Based on her behaviour in SWM, this would be out of character for Lily.
Someone having a moral stance you personally disagree with doesn't automatically make them a bad person.
If your moral stance is that James's past actions are completely unforgivable, and you could not personally date someone who did what he did, no matter how he evolved as a person, that's perfectly fine. As I've established, Lily was not aware of any continuing wrongdoing, nor would she have validated or supported it had she been aware. Lily's belief was that the person she was currently dating was a good person. She believed in redemption and second chances. If you personally do not believe in redemption or second chances, I'd question why you even like Snape, but ultimately that's your prerogative. However, believing otherwise doesn't make Lily a bad person nor selfish, even if you personally disagree or think she was wrong. People are allowed to be mistaken.
Snape was probably less relevant to their lives than you think.
Like to be quite honest, they were fighting a war and priorities had shifted, as they often do in adulthood. Lily ended her friendship with Sev, and after Hogwarts James and Lily almost certainly had no association with him whatsoever. Is Lily expected to continually self-flagellate over Snape for the rest of her life? Is she expected to take him into account in every decision she makes, forever? Believe it or not James and Lily existed separately to Snape, rather than as extensions of his character. They moved on. Snape didn't, that's what makes him beautiful-- and yes there's a reason why Snape couldn't move on, but, again, that is not Lily's responsibility. It seems reasonable to me that, particularly given the extreme nature of her circumstances, Lily would take into account first and foremost the actions she observed from James in the present, rather than what he did in the past. See above re: Lily owes Snape nothing.
Being selfless, kind, or a good person doesn't make one perfect.
When I say Lily was selfless, I do NOT mean that she was flawless. If this is your takeaway I worry for you. Also, enough about the Virgin Mary lol. Anyway, humans are complex, and selfless people are capable of selfishness on occasion. Everyone is. A certain amount of selfishness is not only normal, it can be a good thing and necessary for protecting yourself. When Lily ended her friendship with Sev, it was something she was doing for herself, so in the most technical sense (and it's still a huge stretch) it can be viewed as selfish. Nobody is or should be 100% selfless all the time. So even were I to concede that she was selfish in marrying James (which I don't) it doesn't preclude her being a selfless person in general.
Being selfless, kind, or a good person doesn't make a female character 'unrealistic.'
What even is this argument, honestly. Like do you just not believe in the existence of good women irl? Suspicious. I would gently suggest that if you find it unrealistic (or boring) for a woman to be a good person, that's maybe something you should take a closer look at. If your automatic assumption about a woman is that she must have married a man for his money, I would also interrogate that belief.
idk she was a teenage girl, pls develop some empathy
once you come down from your podium in the unholy tribunal, it might be worth considering female characters (and women in general) as human, and not just avatars who simply react to the emotional turmoil of men. At absolute worst you could assume that she was tricked by James (which I still disagree with, but it's a slightly more generous reading) or was blind and naive. All of which are more understandable than, for some reason, assuming she was a conniving bitch who wanted to hurt Snape and selfishly marry into wealth. Ultimately her decision to marry James probably had nothing to do with Snape at all. She was 21 when she died. Bad judgment is common at that age, and it's not necessarily a product of selfishness at all. Look, I'd understand this whole thing more if everyone was in their 30s. But is it not the teenage girl experience of all time to date an asshole? Do you have no empathy for that situation? Like I said, I'm arguing this based on the idea that James was completely irredeemable; would an abuser not abuse his girlfriend too? Would someone who is evil and cruel in all respects not also display cruelty to his wife? Can you not summon up an ounce of empathy for a 17 year old who might have thought, as many young girls do, 'I can fix him?'
To conclude, I think that the idea that Lily marrying a bully makes her a bad person is just rooted in lack of empathy for her as a character. Despite spending hours dissecting every last thought process a man might have had, there's no attempt at all to try and understand Lily's motives, rather they're considered exclusively from the perspective of Snape's emotions. This is unfair.
I don't doubt that it hurt Snape's feelings for Lily to date and marry James. But Snape's feelings are no longer her concern. She owes him nothing. Sev called his best friend a slur publicly and joined an organisation that wanted to murder her, with no respect for her feelings at all. They are no longer friends, and he has no right whatsoever to expect her to consider his own emotional needs anymore, and her choices no longer have anything to do with him. Nor should they have.
Whether or not you think it was a mistake for Lily to marry James, that's Lily's problem. Not Snape's. If you truly believe James was a monster, logically it's Lily you should be feeling sorry for. The fact that there's no empathy for her to be found, and that people revert so quickly to the Top 100 Misogyny Classic of 'she must be a gold digger' speaks for itself.
#also sorry this took a while haha ive been working on it bit by bit for a few days#lily evans#pro lily evans#anyway let it never be said i have no defence against this ridiculous argument lol.#meta#lily

PLEASE say more about your cultural understanding of tattoos if/when you feel up to it; your perspective on it is really interesting!
I can only really speak from my own perspective on it as a fairly recent initiate into tattooing, but the way tattoos have been viewed in the past (even the very recent past) had changed very quickly with new technology.
Finer lines become possible, and greater variety of colors, so the necessity of sticking to thick lines and heavy black with few color options is no longer the case. Improved technology means more styles become possible to tattoo in, and as such instead of the restrictions of the media informing the tattoo, tattoos are now available in a wide variety of art styles and the art world and overall cultural zeitgeist now heavily influence tattoos instead of tattoos by necessity having their own set style guides and language.
This means more mass appeal, you can do almost whatever you want art wise now and many tattooers are fine artists in their own right. So now we have more and more women and young professionals into it and not just bikers, gang members or sailors as the stereotypes used to hold.
So now tattoos are trendy for everyone, as the nation slowly but surely sheds its puritanical leanings. But now that tattooing is no longer an underground art form and is largely regulated and legalized, a new underground form of it lives on.
Thanks to online buy-anything sorts of sites like Amazon, Temu and Wish, it's easier than ever for the garage, apartment or party to host impromptu tattoos. And because it is often very difficult to get someone to agree to teach you how to tattoo, almost all of these people are self taught and receive instructions via youtube.
So why then, if you can get anything you want as a tattoo, would people still go for these dubiously sanitary pieces by untrained artists?
Part of it is related to why tattoos may have existed in the first place- they denote your culture, your people, who you belong to. For a lot of the apartment tattoo getters, they're allowing their friends or family members to practice on them as a sign of love and trust.
Part of it is cost. Cheap things always have a market, even if they're not good.
But part of it I think is nihilism. That is, a sense that you have no future, nothing to live for and therefore nothing to lose. Many young people cannot envision themselves in old age and many of them tell you they'll likely die young. So why not, then, get the bad tattoo? The tattoo is temporary because life is temporary. We lead such short desperate lives that refusing a tattoo because of some imagined professional setting you might be in seems as asinine as thinking one day you might be a billionaire. It's just as unattainable.
Throw in a little postmodernism, a little dadaism and you have the perfect storm for the rise of ignorant style tattoos. They're not good, but that's largely the point. They don't have to be. In fact the ugliness is largely the point of this art form. Much like how Duchamp's Fountain was never meant to be a beautiful piece of sculpture but rather a biting satire, ignorant style tattoos become the response to the former underground artform of tattooing going mainstream and suddenly costing thousands and thousands of dollars, and people showing off wealth with perfectly technically done sleeves.
It's for obvious reasons a very divisive style of tattooing, and now even legitimate shops are turning out things that look "bad on purpose" but are technically well applied when examined closely. Personally I think most of them are ugly as shit but what the Hell do I know I'm just some bitch.

What is Love for You?
'Before taking the reading, have you ever thought if not that first movie, if not your parents relationship, if not your sibling's first heartbreak..if not your own crush, crushing your idea of what all it seems. What is Love for you?

Companionship & Fidelity
'A Heart torn between timelines, you are someone who is quite different yet imbibe those traditional values when it comes to love in general.
For you Love is about being a support, cultivating a certain level of fidelity at a certain level frequency.
Highlighting the fact that you kept meeting the same, likewise yet opposite people, who bring relevance but not true substance when it comes to show up for you, but you do and you keep doing it. Being loyal made you a people pleaser but your heart got wrenched knowing my love is shareable because I want to, but people see you differently.
Independent, Arrogant, Distinct and Different. But for you everyone seems the same just in different bodies, different says, with same meaning.
You have good relations but they are quite shallow or about being dutiful then anything else. Like anyone at your place would be treated the same.
What I am channeling is, you have a future spouse. When I mean this you are kept held by the divine to get into any other affairs, heartbreaks or other delusional skits that tempts you for a while.
In the Pyschic world, it's called 'Spouse Tie' when your marriage is a by-product of your life and not the main focus you reap a late reward through a great companion who feels like a home for you.

To be your everything..
A Perfect Kdrama lead, who is misunderstood by the world the parents are quite challenging which leads to the threshold of expectations and burdens. Competitive Friends who actually end becoming your worst enemy.
You become everything to everyone in need, the filler girl who lives by next door easy to call her for help, a girl who can benefit but beyond that we have no use of her. People use your quality, aura, skills and due to your lack of energetic boundaries you believe everyone to be as nice as they seem, but even if they unravel you end being nice because being mean and rude have hurt you alot.
A flower who pitys the thorn is how you see the world, and its the vice versa from the world they drain you my love. But no worries divine and someone special seems to be your knight and protectors.
You are Cursed in life person who will be blessed with love. For you love is about the person being your everything.
A Parent during challenges, A Friend during conflicts, A Lover in bed, A Teacher in life, A Spouse to share purpose with, like a blessing you want for all kinds of curses you have gone through by yourself despite people around you turned out to be quite spiteful and the attack seems uncertain.
I can feel you are not able to sleep peacefully at night, the dream of a guy coming and holding your hand, and shielding is constant,
These all are signs to not lose hope especially when you feel you can't live anymore like this, it's your love from the other end of the world calling upon your name, entering your dream, being that random reel, being that song only you resonate with, as if he is singing it all to you. He writes diary about you.
Because you both are in a journey together but walking different paths to find a pace together in the divine timeline.
What I see here is this is a fated connection, quite planned and will unfold as per the universe's wish, but I see when you are near the age 27 to 30 you should have met this person by this time and would date 3-4 years before getting married which will make you to leave your family and stuff.
Quite twinflame, but forever is showing up so they could be your soulmate.

Love? Whatever!
If two people meet and can lead to wars and clashes of conflicts of interest there is a couple awards you both did win.
You are quite strong headed love is an unworthy word to qualify who you are, regardless of the superiority complex you are a rough kid grown tough.
Crisis after the crisis was your way throughout, you do not have many people who can stand you so you let them go, even if you love them hardcore.
Because love for you is like devotion, a prayer, a dutiful commitment. You see no other reason or purpose behind it thriving.
You drive in dedication, passion and move with boldness even in your day to say decisions. You would chose to cut the good for something greater because that is how critical and rigid you have been with yourself.
Not heavy on trauma it looks for the world, but every other minute things have rubbed off your soul, lies, bad comments, cheaters, stealers, jealousy and every other worst feeling.
I see the heavy influence of deception during your childhood development has incurred these negative emotions to become your core values, which will be set at blaze by someone completely opposite from you.
But will exactly show you better and reel rigidity is beyond illusional set of emotions.
While you will show them what it is like to respect, be grateful and showup for things without fearing the commitment and the patience anything takes.
People around you guys would so not want this because it will break their projections over you which you are believing it to be true but now. Will also break one day and that is when you will find the one.
Prudence, Arrogance and lack of emotions are the reason life keeps breaking you again and again pain is the base of emotions which leads to the highest of it which is bliss and peace to attain you will shed those thick skin and grow into beautiful vantage full of empathy and love.

Hi!
One of my characters is autistic. In times when they get into a verbal shutdown, I was thinking they could use ASL to help with communication (when they still feel okay to communicate)
Since they aren't deaf and know no deaf person, I was thinking their older brother would have noticed those moments of verbal shutdown and how they get frustrated trying to communicate, as a younger kid, and would have found a dictionary at the library about ASL and would have borrowed it to learn some words that would be useful like needs, feelings etc. I was wondering if this sounded legit? They would not be fluent, they would use ASL as a communication tool with their brother.
For context: I'm autistic but I'm not deaf. I have taken classes in the past to learn my local sign language, so I know a bit about deaf culture in my region. Not sure if it was relevant to mention but I wanted to be sure :)
Thank you so much, have a nice day!
Hi!
To answer this question, I need to ask: why do they have verbal shutdowns?
If their speech loss is akin to situational mutism (based in anxiety), sign language may or may not be a useful tool. If it's because of language issues, sign language definitely won't help.
To clarify: sign language is generally the best method of communication for me because I'm hard of hearing, but when I'm overwhelmed or in a phase of meltdown or shutdown, I can't produce or process language at all--written, spoken, or signed. I communicate (often unconsciously) in other ways, but formalized language is not an effective method of communication for me when I lose speech.
If a handful of simple signs (hurt, tired, bathroom, loud, etc) is a useful tool for them, then by all means, go for it. Just consider the fact that verbality often goes hand-in-hand with other language processing and production skills, and reaching for vocabulary from a non-native language, especially when overwhelmed, is more difficult.
Here's a good post discussing this in more detail from @wheelie-sick.

i am FASCINATED by the little scraps i've heard about bill's uncle. am i allowed to know more about him. and if the answer is no do you have a chapter estimate for when i am
yeah sure, I already made a post on Bill's mom, I've finally got enough material to make a post on Bill's dad.
Bill got his gorgeous eyelashes, warm color scheme, black limbs, and personality from his mom. He got his shape, his brick lines, and his slitted pupil from his dad. His dad's a self-made businessman*! (*His dad got suckered into joining a multi-level marketing scheme and now he makes money by suckering other people into joining the MLM scheme.)
And: his dad has a brother. They're twiiins!
Bill keeps targeting twins. (The Stans, the kids, TBOB says Pyronica's got a twin sister Hydronica...) I imagine Bill's twin obsession is rooted in something close to home.
Because Euclid & Euler's eye split in half mid-development, they have unusually oval-shaped eyes—a common sign of twins. They've been going to an optometrist since they were toddlers to deal with poor eyesight and floaters in their peripheral vision. They've had a mix of surgery, corrective lenses, and medication to narrow their field of view to the area they can see clearly. So when baby Billy said he was seeing "bright white dots" on "the outside of everything," Euclid went aha! He knows exactly what Bill's seeing!
He did not, in fact, know what Bill was seeing.
Bill's parents didn't regularly visit family, but Euler was the one relative they saw most often. He was the first person to snap out of the "haha it sure is funny how Bill can guess when somebody's about to knock on the door" rationalizations to realize that Bill really could see things no one else did.
And since Bill's parents are sort of disasters who think starting a cult is a great get-rich-quick scheme, Euler was one of the most emotionally stable role models in Bill's life. It sure is a good thing that Euler was a constant presence and nothing happened to him during Bill's tender formative years!
"But wait," you say, "you told us that Bill got his shape and slit pupil from his dad. But wouldn't that mean he got genes for a square? And how could he have gotten a slit pupil if that wasn't a genetic trait, but a consequence of an eyeball splitting in half?"
Triangles and slit pupils don't run in Euclid's side of the family. But squares and twins do.
I imagine Bill's twin obsession is rooted in something close to home.
"So Steve exists in your headcanon—?" No. He's a stillbirth his parents pretend doesn't exist. He's a crime Bill committed before he was born. He's the imaginary phantom Bill's parents are searching for when they look at Bill—starting fires, hallucinating, spitting up his medicine—and wonder what he'd be like if he was different. He's a symbol representing a source of unconditional love and support that Bill deserved and needed, but never had. Steve's all those things—but he doesn't and never has existed.
And there at last is my Euclid headcanons post. If y'all are interested & didn't see it, here's my Scalene headcanons post! And some headcanons about shape twins that still basically work post-TBOB, we just know now that Euclideans don't need a line and a polygon to reproduce.
(95% of my headcanons about Bill's dad & uncle are pre-TBOB. The only difference is that I originally designed Euclid & Euler as green trapezoids that had split from a hexagon. Trapezoids so that Bill and his dad could do this, green so that Bill's dad could be the original color Bill was designed as before the Gravity Falls crew made him yellow & so that his family could be money-colored: gold-colored Bill & mom, dollar-bill-colored dad.)
(After TBOB/TINAWDC revealed his dad's a triangle and either red or blue, I decided to make the twins blue-green (because I wanted to keep in that "bill's original color scheme" reference) and finagle it so that Euler could still be a trapezoid; after Pyramid Steve came out, I suddenly had a really good thematic reason to make them blue-green. I'd been playing with the idea of making Bill a shoulda-beena twin, Steve finalized that decision by giving me a physical design that could tie into Bill's extended family.)
#euclid cipher#scalene and euclid#bill cipher#euclydia#the book of bill#gravity falls#headcanons#my art#pyramid steve#anonymous#ask#(the funny part of their names is that even though they have similar spelling they're pronounced entirely differently)#(you'd expect yoo clid and yoo ler. but it's yoo clid and oil er)#(anyway since i'm not updating the fic this week here's your substitute art/headcanon post)

There’s been a lot of speculation about the secrecy behind the final 90 minutes. “Why isn’t Michael posting? Why isn’t he interacting with fans? Why doesn’t he post like he did for Season 1 & 2? Why, why, why?”
These are MY thoughts on the matter. Michael first and foremost is one of (if not the) kindest, most empathetic person. Friends, family, interviewers, co-stars they all say the same thing.
I believe he is trying to be careful with the feelings of others. With the feelings of the victims. Trying not to post things that could make it appear callous. To make it seem that GO is the top priority.
Michael in an interview, stated he has known NG for approximately 20 years. Read his books, graphic novels, and his first gift to Anna was a signed copy of The Sandman. He is/was a great admirer of his work, among other authors.
I also believe that he knows “fans” are going to be coming at him with questions that he most likely has no answer for. Just because you are “friends” with someone it doesn’t mean you know their personal life. In fact, you can be exceptionally close with someone and not know their demons.
There is no doubt someone would ask his opinion on the whole scenario and he doesn’t want to comment. It’s not that he is protecting NG. He’s protecting himself and his family. How long before the questions come about he and Anna’s age difference?
The interview he did, where the young lady questioned him about Anna and the age difference between her and his daughter Lily, I’m sure, still plays in his mind. The big difference between that and NG’s situation are worlds apart. It’s he and Anna’s personal life and he owes no one an explanation. It’s his choice as to who he discusses it with, if at all.
But we all know there would be someone that would be aggressive and not willing to accept his answer, whatever the question was. Look at how vicious Twitter users became when he stated his feelings on Israel and Palestine. It wasn’t good enough.
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
I believe right now he and David are trying to find their way through to wrapping up this beautiful story that was given us, with everything they have. The absolute pure, unadulterated joy they have when together will carry their friendship on through the rest of their lives.
They are not Aziraphale and Crowley. But I believe they love them just as much, if not more than we do. These characters are part of them, and will be, forever.
Ultimately we can only believe with all our hearts that the TPE, Rob and Terry’s daughter, all the people involved with this ending, love them as much as we do and will do whatever it takes for our Angel and Demon to be together, and able to live freely, love freely, and be happy.

the heavy oak doors of your father’s office loomed before you, their polished surface reflecting the dim glow of the hallway chandelier. you paused, your fingers hovering over your phone screen, scrolling through a feed of designer handbags you didn’t need but absolutely wanted.
the text from your father had been curt, almost ominous: “my office. now.”
you rolled your eyes. it was probably about the credit card statement again. you had a perfectly good excuse ready—charity auction, obviously. he’d buy it. he always did.
with a sigh, you pushed the doors open, not bothering to knock. “you rang?” you said, your tone dripping with sarcasm as you leaned against the doorframe, still engrossed in your phone.
your father didn’t look up from his desk. “sit,” he commanded, his voice sharp enough to make you glance up.
you blinked. okay. not a good sign.
it was then that you noticed him. the man standing beside your father, a silent shadow in the room. he was tall, broad-shouldered, and dressed entirely in black—black tactical pants, black fitted shirt, black boots that looked like they could crush a skull without breaking a sweat. his arms were crossed over his chest, his posture relaxed but somehow radiating intensity. his face was all sharp angles and hard lines, his jaw clenched, his eyes scanning the room with a precision that made you feel like he’d already dissected every inch of it—and you along with it.
you straightened, your phone slipping into your pocket as you took a step forward. “who’s this?” you asked, your tone light but laced with suspicion.
your father gestured toward the man, his expression unyielding. “this is jay. your new bodyguard.”
the words hung in the air for a moment, heavy and absurd. then you laughed—a sharp, incredulous sound that echoed off the mahogany walls. “you’re joking.”
your father didn’t laugh. neither did jay. in fact, jay didn’t so much as twitch. his expression remained impassive, his dark eyes fixed on you with an intensity that made your skin prickle.
you turned back to your father, your laughter fading into a scoff. “this isn’t necessary. i’m not in danger. that whole kidnapping thing? a fluke. it’s been weeks and nothing’s happened.”
your father’s jaw tightened. “which is exactly why you need protection. we’re not taking any chances.”
you opened your mouth to argue, but jay beat you to it. his voice was low, calm, and infuriatingly even. “i’m not here to be liked, just to do my job.”
your head snapped toward him, your eyes narrowing. excuse me?
he met your glare without flinching, his expression as unreadable as a stone wall. he didn’t care. not about your annoyance, not about your defiance, not about you. the realisation made your blood boil.
“congratulations on the worst job in existence,” you said coolly, tilting your head as you studied him. “because i’m not some damsel in distress.”
jay didn’t blink. “right. you handled the last situation so well.”
your jaw dropped. the audacity. “excuse you—”
“enough,” your father interjected, pinching the bridge of his nose like he was already regretting this entire conversation. “jay will be with you at all times. this isn’t up for discussion.”
you stared at him, then at jay, who was still standing there like some brooding statue, completely unfazed. your mind raced, already plotting ways to make his life a living hell. fine. if this was happening, you wouldn’t make it easy for him.
you flashed jay a sweet, taunting smile, the kind that usually made people nervous. “try and keep up.”
his lips twitched—just barely—but it wasn’t a smile. more like a challenge accepted. “i don’t plan on falling behind.”
oh, you already hated him. hated the way he looked at you like you were a problem to be solved, hated the way he stood there like he owned the room, hated the way his voice sent an unwelcome shiver down your spine. but most of all, you hated that he didn’t seem the least bit intimidated by you.
your father exhaled, clearly done with the conversation. “jay will start immediately. i expect you to cooperate.”
you didn’t respond. instead, you turned on your heel and strode toward the door, your heels clicking sharply against the marble floor. you could feel jay’s eyes on your back, tracking your every move, but you refused to give him the satisfaction of looking over your shoulder. let him try to keep up. you were already planning your first escape.
as the doors swung shut behind you, you couldn’t help but smirk. this was going to be fun.
the first twenty-four hours with jay as your shadow were unbearable. it wasn’t just his constant presence—it’s the way he moves like he knows what you’re about to do before you do it, like some kind of infuriating psychic in tactical gear.
you woke up to find him standing right outside your bedroom door. arms crossed, eyes alert, posture straight. like a soldier. like a statue. like someone who had absolutely no life outside of making yours miserable.
you glare at him, silk robe slipping off your shoulder, hair a mess. “do you ever sleep? or do you just stand there like a creep all night?”
jay doesn’t react. not even a twitch. his gaze flicks over you, assessing, before looking away.
he didn’t react. not even a twitch. his dark eyes flicked over you briefly, assessing, before he looked away, his expression as blank as ever.
“good morning,” he said, his tone flat.
you rolled your eyes and slammed the door in his face.
when you went to get coffee, he was already there, waiting. the barista gave him a once-over, their eyes lingering on his broad shoulders and the faint scar that ran along his jawline. then they glanced at you, their eyebrows raised in a silent question: are you okay? do you need help?
you forced a smile. “he’s harmless,” you said, though the words tasted like a lie. jay didn’t so much as blink.
you grabbed your latte and stormed out, jay falling into step behind you like some kind of silent, brooding ghost. you could feel his eyes on your back, watching, always watching. it was suffocating.
in meetings, it was worse. you sat at the head of the conference table, your laptop open, your team discussing quarterly projections, and there he was—standing against the far wall, arms still crossed, his gaze sweeping the room like he was expecting an ambush at any moment. every time you glanced his way, he was already looking at you, his expression unreadable.
you tried to ignore him. you really did. but his presence was like a thundercloud hovering over the room, dark and oppressive. by the time the meeting ended, you were ready to scream.
you had to get rid of him immediately.
attempt #1: the emergency exit
it was simple, really. you waited until you were in the middle of a crowded lobby with jay, your phone pressed to your ear, your face the picture of distress. “no—no, stay right there, i’ll be there in five minutes,” you said, your voice trembling just enough to sound convincing. then you slipped out the back door, quick, smooth, victorious.
you couldn’t help but grin as you rounded the corner, your heart racing with the thrill of escape. finally, some freedom. finally, some—
jay was already there.
leaning against your car, arms still crossed, not even looking at you. like he’d been waiting for hours. like he’d known exactly where you’d go.
you froze, your smile slipping. “how the hell—”
he finally acknowledged you, tilting his head just slightly. his lips curved into the faintest hint of a smirk. “you’re going to have to try harder than that.”
your fingers clenched into fists. oh. it was war.
attempt #2: the disappearing act
you waited until you were at a charity gala, the kind of event where everyone was too busy sipping champagne and gossipping to notice anything amiss. you slipped into the crowd, weaving through the sea of tuxedos and evening gowns, your movements quick and deliberate. you ducked behind a potted plant, then made your way to the service entrance, your heart pounding with excitement.
you were almost there. almost free. and then—
“leaving so soon?”
you whirled around, your breath catching in your throat. jay stood in the doorway, his arms still crossed, his expression as calm as ever. he didn’t even look winded.
“how do you keep doing that?” you demanded, your voice rising.
he shrugged, the motion infuriatingly casual. “it’s my job.”
“your job is to annoy me to death?”
“if that’s what it takes to keep you alive, then yes.”
you glared at him, your chest heaving with frustration. he stared back, unflinching, his dark eyes boring into yours. for a moment, the air between you crackled with something electric, and you wanted to so badly give into it and just cause a tantrum. instead, you turned on your heel and stormed back into the gala, jay following close behind.
attempt #3: sensory overload
the mall was a chaotic symphony of chatter, clattering shopping bags, and the faint hum of pop music playing over the speakers. you strode through the bustling crowd, your heels clicking sharply against the polished floor, your eyes darting toward the exit signs. jay was a step behind you, his presence as unshakable as ever. his dark eyes scanned the crowd, his posture tense, like he was expecting a sniper to take a shot at any moment.
you rolled your eyes. “relax, rambo. it’s a mall, not a war zone.”
he didn’t respond. of course he didn’t. he just kept walking, his gaze flicking toward you every few seconds, like he was making sure you hadn’t somehow vanished into thin air.
you gritted your teeth. this was supposed to be your day. you had a date with someone your mutual friend had set you up with. your father had forbidden you from going, but since when had you ever listened to him? and yet, here was jay, ruining everything like some overgrown shadow you couldn’t shake.
you bit back a sigh. if you wanted to shake him, you’d have to get creative.
spotting a perfume shop up ahead, you darted inside, the overwhelming scent of floral and citrus hitting you instantly. jay followed without hesitation, his towering frame making the narrow aisles feel even smaller.
“why are we here?” he asked, his voice low and gruff.
“to test some new scents,” you replied innocently, grabbing a random bottle and spraying it on your wrist. “you wouldn’t understand.”
jay raised an eyebrow but said nothing.
you tried a few more perfumes, using up the space on your wrists and arms. finally, you turned to him, holding up a bottle.
“hold out your arm.”
jay blinked. “what?”
“you’re supposed to test it on skin,” you said, your tone overly patient. “and i’m out of space. come on.”
reluctantly, he extended his arm. you sprayed the perfume lightly on his wrist and leaned in, inhaling deeply.
jay tensed under your touch, his muscles stiffening as your fingers brushed his skin. you glanced up, noticing the tightness in his jaw, but you didn’t comment.
“it’s not bad,” you said, tilting your head. “but maybe something lighter.”
you reached for another bottle, quickly spraying it on his other wrist. this time, you didn’t stop at one spray. you pressed the nozzle again and again, filling the air with an overpowering mix of scents.
jay sneezed once, then twice, stumbling back a step as he tried to clear his nose.
“what the hell are you doing?” he asked, his voice muffled between sneezes.
“just testing!” you said, holding up your hands in mock innocence. “you’re being dramatic.”
jay glared at you, but before he could recover, you dropped the perfume bottle and bolted, weaving through the crowded store and out into the mall. you didn’t look back. you didn’t need to. you could hear his footsteps behind you, heavy and determined.
your heart raced as you sprinted through the mall, dodging shoppers and strollers. you spotted a clothing store up ahead, its entrance tucked away in a quieter corner. perfect. you ducked inside, your breath coming in short gasps as you scanned the store. the dressing rooms. that was your best bet.
you darted toward them, slipping into the first stall you saw. you yanked the curtain closed, your chest heaving as you pressed your back against the wall. for a moment, there was silence. then you heard it—the sound of footsteps, slow and deliberate, approaching the stall.
the curtain flew open, and there he was. jay. his chest was rising and falling slightly, his dark eyes blazing with something you couldn’t quite place. he stepped into the stall, his body crowding yours as he pinned you against the wall. the curtain fell shut behind him, enclosing you in the small, dimly lit space.
you stared up at him, your breath catching in your throat. he was so close you could see the faint stubble along his jaw, the way his pulse jumped in his neck. his hands were braced on either side of your head, his body caging you in. the air between you was thick with tension, the kind that made your stomach twist and your heart race for reasons that had nothing to do with running.
“you’re not as clever as you think you are,” he said, his voice low and rough.
you swallowed, your mouth suddenly dry. “and you’re not as scary as you think you are.”
his lips twitched, the faintest hint of a smirk. “try me.”
you opened your mouth to retort, but the words died on your tongue. his eyes dropped to your lips, just for a second, and something shifted between you. the air crackled with electricity, the kind that made your skin prickle and your breath hitch. you could feel the heat radiating off him, the way his body seemed to press closer without actually moving.
for a moment, neither of you moved. then jay stepped back, his expression shuttering as he regained control. “let’s go,” he said, his tone clipped.
you didn’t argue. for once, you didn’t have the words.
the party was in full swing, the air thick with the scent of expensive perfume, champagne, and the faint hum of a live jazz band. you stood near the centre of the room, dressed in a sleek black gown that hugged your figure perfectly, a glass of champagne in hand. you laughed at something your friend said, the sound light and carefree, but your attention was elsewhere.
jay.
he was standing across the room, leaning against a pillar, his arms crossed, his dark eyes fixed on you. he wasn’t even trying to hide it. he was watching you like a hawk, his expression unreadable but his gaze intense enough to make your skin prickle.
your friend leaned in, her voice low and teasing. “he’s been looking at you all night.”
you shrugged, pretending not to care. “who? jay? he’s just doing his job.”
but the truth was, you did care. you were hyper-aware of him now, his presence like a shadow you couldn’t shake. and it annoyed you. it annoyed you that he could stand there, so calm and collected, while you felt like you were unravelling.
so you decided to push him.
you flirted with everyone but him. you laughed a little too loudly at a joke a handsome stranger made. you let your hand linger on the arm of a guy who clearly had no idea what personal space was. you disappeared into the crowd, weaving through the sea of tuxedos and evening gowns, pretending jay didn’t exist.
but he did. he always did.
suddenly, a man—tall, broad-shouldered, with a cocky grin—stepped into your space, his hand hovering near your waist as he leaned in to whisper something in your ear. his breath smelled like whisky, the proximity way too close for your comfort.
you froze, your smile faltering. before you could react, jay was there.
he moved like a shadow, swift and silent, stepping between you and the man with a presence that was impossible to ignore. his voice was cool but sharp, cutting through the noise of the party like a knife. “hands off.”
the man blinked, his grin faltering as he took in jay’s imposing figure. “whoa, man, i was just—”
“i don’t care what you were just doing,” jay said, his tone low and dangerous. “back off.”
the man hesitated, his eyes flicking between you and jay, before he finally raised his hands in surrender and slunk away. you stared after him, stunned, your heart pounding in your chest.
when you turned back to jay, he was already looking at you, his expression unreadable but his eyes blazing with something you couldn’t quite place. he stepped closer, his voice dropping to a low murmur that sent a shiver down your spine. “you have no idea what you’re doing.”
your breath caught. “what are you talking about?”
he leaned in, his lips brushing against your ear as he spoke, his voice rough and tinged with something that sounded almost like frustration. “flirting with strangers. disappearing into crowds. acting like you’re invincible. you’re not.”
you swallowed, your throat suddenly dry. “i can take care of myself.”
“can you?” he asked, his tone challenging. “because from where i’m standing, it looks like you’re just trying to get a rise out of me.”
you opened your mouth to argue, but the words died on your tongue. he was close—too close—his body crowding yours, his heat radiating through the thin fabric of your dress. you could smell the faint scent of his cologne, a mix of vanilla and something woodsy, and it made your head spin.
as the night wore on, you couldn’t stop thinking about it—the way he’d looked at you, the way his voice had sounded, rough and low and so, so close. you caught yourself glancing at him more than once, your heart skipping a beat every time your eyes met his.
oh.
so he did care.
it happens slowly. or maybe it doesn’t. maybe it’s been happening this whole time, lurking beneath the surface, waiting for you to notice. but now, you do.
you start noticing the way he moves. always a step ahead, always positioning himself between you and anything that could be a threat. his sleeves are always rolled up, revealing the veins that line his forearms, his hands steady and sure. you notice the way he watches you, his dark eyes scanning every room like he’s mapping out every possible danger, but it’s never just that. there’s something else in his gaze, something you can’t quite name.
and worse? you start feeling it.
the heat in your chest when his hand brushes yours as he passes you a coffee. the frustration that coils in your stomach when someone else looks at him for too long. the way your breath catches when he says your name instead of brat or princess or whatever sarcastic nickname he’s come up with that day.
this is a problem.
but you handle it the way you always do—by pushing him.
it’s late, with the city feeling quiet, almost peaceful, and the only light comes from the flickering neon sign of a 24-hour diner. you’re sitting in a booth by the window, picking at a plate of fries you didn’t really want but ordered anyway because you were too stubborn to admit you were hungry. jay sits across from you, his posture rigid, his eyes scanning the nearly empty diner like it’s a potential battlefield.
you roll your eyes. “relax, jay. the only danger here is the cholesterol in these fries.”
he just takes a sip of his black coffee, his expression as unreadable as ever.
you lean back in the booth, crossing your arms over your chest. “you know, you don’t have to babysit me 24/7. i’m not a child.”
his eyes flick to yours, sharp and assessing. “could’ve fooled me.”
you glare at him. “excuse me?”
he sets his coffee cup down, his voice low and even. “you act like rules don’t apply to you. like you’re invincible. you’re not.”
your jaw tightens. “and you act like you’re my dad. newsflash—you’re not.”
for a moment, neither of you speaks. the tension between you is thick, almost suffocating, and you can feel it building, building, building until it finally snaps.
“why do you even care so much?” you demand, your voice rising just enough to draw the attention of the tired-looking waitress behind the counter.
jay exhales sharply, running a hand through his hair. “you don’t get it, do you?”
your heartbeat stutters. “then explain it to me.”
for a second, he says nothing. he just looks at you, his dark eyes searching yours like he’s trying to figure you out. then he stands, slow and deliberate, and slides into the booth beside you. he’s close now, closer than he’s ever let himself be, his body heat radiating through the thin fabric of your shirt.
you don’t back away.
his eyes flicker to your lips, and your breath catches. the air between you is so thin, so sharp you can almost taste it.
he leans in, his voice low and rough. “you have no idea what i’d do to keep you safe.”
your pulse is in your throat, waiting, waiting, waiting.
but before anything can happen—
the bell above the diner door jingles, and a group of loud, laughing teenagers spills inside, shattering the moment.
jay pulls back instantly, his jaw tightening as he slides out of the booth. he doesn’t look at you, doesn’t say a word. he just walks to the counter, his posture rigid, like nothing happened.
like nothing almost happened.
but you know better.
you press a hand to your chest, trying to steady your heartbeat, but it’s no use. your mind is racing, replaying the moment over and over again—the way he’d looked at you, the way his voice had sounded, the way your body had reacted to his nearness.
this is getting dangerous.
later, as you sit in the back of the car on the way home, you can’t stop thinking about it. jay is in the driver’s seat, his eyes fixed on the road, his hands steady on the wheel. you stare at the back of his head, your thoughts a tangled mess.
you think about the way he’d stepped between you and that guy at the party, his voice sharp and commanding. you think about the way he’d leaned in, his breath warm against your ear, his body so close you could feel the heat radiating off him.
and you think about the way he’d pulled away, like it was nothing, like it didn’t mean anything.
but it did. you know it did.
you mentally groan, leaning your head against the window. this is a problem. a big problem. because no matter how much you try to convince yourself otherwise, you can’t deny it anymore.
you like him.
and that’s the most dangerous thing of all.
you don’t talk about it.
the almost-kiss, the tension that stains every interaction now—it hangs between you like a live wire, sharp and charged. you find yourself watching him more, catching the way he looks at you when he thinks you don’t notice. his gaze lingers a little too long, his movements a little too deliberate, and it drives you insane.
but you don’t talk about it.
instead, you push. you push him, you push yourself, you push the boundaries of whatever this is between you. and he pushes back, always steady, always in control, until—
one day it happens fast. too fast.
you’re walking back to the car after an event, the city lights casting long shadows on the pavement. jay is a step behind you, his presence a constant, grounding force. you’re arguing about something stupid—something meaningless—because that’s what you do now. you bicker, you snipe, you push each other’s buttons, all while pretending the tension between you doesn’t exist.
and then, out of nowhere, it happens.
you don’t even see it coming. one moment, you’re stepping off the curb, and the next, jay is moving—swift, silent, and utterly precise. he shoves you out of the way, his body shielding yours as a figure lunges at you from the shadows.
there’s a flash of metal, a grunt of pain, and then the sound of footsteps retreating into the night.
you stumble, catching yourself against the car, your heart pounding in your chest. “jay—”
he’s already turning, his hand pressed to his side, his breathing steady despite the blood seeping through his fingers. “get in the car.”
you stare at him, your mind racing. “you’re bleeding. we need to go to the hospital—l”
“it’s nothing, just a scratch” he says, his voice calm, like this is just another day on the job. like he didn’t just take a knife for you.
but it’s not nothing. it’s not nothing because your hands are shaking as you reach for him, your fingers brushing against the warm, sticky blood staining his shirt. “jay—”
“get in the car,” he repeats, his tone sharper this time. “now.”
you don’t argue. you can’t. your mind is a blur as you climb into the passenger seat, your eyes never leaving him as he slides behind the wheel. his movements are steady, controlled, but you can see the tension in his jaw, the way his knuckles whiten as he grips the steering wheel.
the drive home is silent, the air between you thick with unspoken words. you keep glancing at him, your chest tight with something you can’t quite name. fear. guilt. something else.
when you finally arrive, you follow him inside, your hands still trembling. he heads straight for the bathroom, and you trail after him, your heart hammering in your chest.
“let me see,” you say, your voice barely above a whisper.
he doesn’t argue this time. he just sits on the edge of the bathtub, his shirt already half-off, revealing the deep gash along his side. it’s not fatal, not even close, but it’s enough to make your stomach twist.
you grab the first aid kit from under the sink and kneel in front of him, your hands shaking as you clean the wound. he doesn’t flinch, doesn’t make a sound, but you can feel his eyes on you, heavy and unreadable.
“you shouldn’t have done that,” you say, your voice breaking. “you shouldn’t have—”
“it’s my job,” he interrupts, his tone calm, like that explains everything.
but it doesn’t. not to you. not when your hands are stained with his blood, not when your chest feels like it’s about to collapse under the weight of everything you’re feeling.
“don’t,” you whisper, your voice trembling. “don’t do that again.”
he looks at you, his dark eyes searching yours, and for the first time, you see it—the crack in his armour. the flicker of something raw, something real.
“you don’t get it,” he says, his voice low and rough. “i’d do it again. every time.”
your breath catches, your hands still pressed against his side. “why?”
he doesn’t answer. not with words, at least. instead, he reaches up, his fingers brushing against your cheek, his touch so gentle it makes your chest ache.
and that’s it. that’s the breaking point.
you don’t think. you don’t hesitate. you just pull him in, your lips crashing against his in a kiss that’s equal parts desperation and relief. for a moment, he doesn’t move, doesn’t respond, and you’re terrified you’ve made a mistake.
but then his hands are in your hair, his mouth moving against yours, and it’s like the world stops. the tension, the anger, the fear, it all melts away, leaving nothing but the two of you.
the room is silent except for the sound of your ragged breathing and the faint hum of the overhead light. jay’s hands are still tangled in your hair, his forehead resting against yours, his breath warm against your lips. you can feel the rapid beat of his heart where your hand rests against his chest, and it’s almost comforting, knowing he’s as affected by this as you are.
but then he pulls back, his expression shuttering as he regains control. “we shouldn’t have done that,” he says, his voice low and rough.
you blink, your chest tightening at his words. “why not?”
he doesn’t answer right away. instead, he stands, his movements stiff as he turns away from you. “because it complicates things.”
you stare at him, your heart sinking. “complicates things? jay, you just took a knife for me. i think things are already complicated.”
he exhales sharply, running a hand through his hair. “you don’t understand.”
“then explain it to me,” you snap, your frustration bubbling over. “because i’m tired of pretending like this—whatever this is—doesn’t exist.”
he turns to look at you, his dark eyes blazing with something you can’t quite name. “you think i don’t feel it too? you think i don’t want—” he cuts himself off, his jaw tightening as he looks away. “it doesn’t matter what i want. my job is to keep you safe. that’s it.”
you step closer, your hands trembling at your sides. “and what if i don’t want you to just be my bodyguard? what if i want more?”
he doesn’t respond. not with words, at least. but you can see the conflict in his eyes, the way his hands clench and unclench at his sides. for a moment, you think he might give in, might finally let himself feel something.
but then he steps back, his expression hardening. “you don’t know what you’re asking for.”
you laugh, the sound bitter and hollow. “don’t i? because from where i’m standing, it seems like you’re the one who’s scared.”
his eyes narrow, and for a second, you think you’ve pushed him too far. but then he exhales, his shoulders slumping in defeat. “you’re right. i am scared. because if something happens to you—if i let myself care too much and i can’t protect you—” he cuts himself off, his voice breaking. “i can’t lose you.”
your breath catches, your chest tightening at the raw emotion in his voice. “jay—”
he doesn’t let you finish. instead, he steps forward, his hands cupping your face as he kisses you again. this time, it’s softer, slower, like he’s trying to memorise the feel of you. and you let him, your hands gripping his shoulders as you pull him closer, your heart pounding in your chest.
when he finally pulls back, his forehead resting against yours, you can see the vulnerability in his eyes. “i can’t promise this will be easy,” he says, his voice low and rough. “but i can promise i’ll do everything in my power to keep you safe.”
you swallow, your throat tight with emotion. “that’s all i’ve ever wanted.”
you don’t talk about it for a full twenty-four hours.
not because you regret it. god, no. if anything, the memory of his hands on you, his lips against yours, plays on a loop in your mind, leaving you breathless every time. but now, there’s no going back. no pretending this isn’t real. no pretending you don’t feel the way his presence sets your skin on fire, or the way your heart races when he looks at you like you’re the only thing that matters.
jay is still jay. still overprotective, still infuriating, still the same stoic bodyguard who drives you up the wall. but now?
now, every argument ends with him pulling you in by the waist, his voice low and rough as he murmurs, “you’re impossible,” before silencing you with a kiss.
now, every lingering stare actually leads to something—a brush of his hand against yours, a heated glance that makes your stomach flip, a moment where the tension between you becomes too much to ignore.
and now, your father figures it out almost immediately.
it happens during a family dinner, of all things. you’re sitting at the table, picking at your food while jay sits in his usual spot by you. your father is at the head of the table, his sharp gaze flicking between you and jay with a calculating look that makes your stomach sink.
you try to act normal. you really do. but when jay’s hand brushes against yours as he passes you a glass of water, and you catch yourself smiling at him without thinking, your father clears his throat.
“so,” he says, his tone casual but his eyes sharp. “when were you planning on telling me?”
you freeze, your fork halfway to your mouth. “telling you what?”
your father raises an eyebrow, gesturing between you and jay. “about this.”
you feel your face heat, your heart pounding in your chest. “i—what are you talking about?”
your father sighs, rubbing his temples like he’s already done with this conversation. “at least it’s him.”
jay freezes, his posture stiffening as he looks at your father. you gape, your mind racing. “excuse me?”
your father shrugs, leaning back in his chair. “you were always a handful, but he can handle it.”
you stare at him, your mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. this is not the reaction you were expecting. not even close. you were prepared for yelling, for threats, for jay to be fired on the spot. but this? this casual acceptance? it’s almost worse.
you turn to jay, still reeling. “is this really happening?”
jay looks equally disturbed, his jaw tight as he meets your father’s gaze. “sir, i—”
your father holds up a hand, cutting him off. “don’t. just… keep her out of trouble. that’s all i ask.”
and just like that, the conversation is over. your father goes back to his meal like nothing happened, leaving you and jay to exchange a stunned look.
later, when you’re alone in your room, jay leans against the door, his arms crossed as he watches you pace back and forth. “well,” he says, his voice dry, “that could’ve gone worse.”
you stop pacing, turning to glare at him. “worse? he basically gave us his blessing. that’s not worse. that’s… i don’t even know what that is.”
jay shrugs, a faint smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. “guess you’re stuck with me.”
you roll your eyes, but you don’t pull away when he steps closer, his hands settling on your waist. “lucky me,” you mutter, though the way your heart skips a beat betrays your words.
jay’s smirk softens into something warmer, his eyes searching yours. “you say that like it’s a bad thing.”
you don’t respond. not with words, at least. instead, you lean into him, your hands resting against his chest as you tilt your head up to meet his gaze. “just don’t let it go to your head, okay?”
he chuckles, the sound low and warm, before leaning down to kiss you. and as his lips brush against yours, you realise something.
maybe, just maybe, you don’t want to pull away.
