My thoughts on the 3rd PV

First, the CG with each kings..

Beelzebub lending his coat to a sleep Bael: This is enough prove to tell me that Beelzebub and Bael's Relationship isn't bad or worse after Beelzebub left Avisos.

Like many others, I assume that Bael hates Beelzebub for leaving Avisos or letting Bael stand in for him as "King" of Avisos. RC May Update Highlights

So, the May Updade is finished for me, I've played every book that I loved and am mostly happy with the new episodes. Watch out, there's spoilers in this post!

My highlights this time were:

Astrea's Broken Heart - The more I read, the more intriguing it gets. Also, why is every LI so attractive? I lost soo many diamonds on that story and don't regret it one single bit. I'm still flirting with Raphael and David because I just can't not do it. But I know that Mikael is going to be my main LI. There's no doubt, not after the diamond scenes in the last episode where we could talk about him and his book/literature. It was nice to get to know him a bit better and I'm determined to wrap him around my little finger. Also, just look at him, he is soo beautiful. 😍 💖💋

Kali: Flame of Samsara - Uff, that season finale was pure madness! And the ending hurt so much! 😭My heart was broken when Devi died in Christian's arms, just hours after he sent her that little love letter and called her his bride. 😭 And I have so many questions! What happens now? Is Devi going to be resurrected or reborn? Are we even going to play her in the next season or somebody else? If so, what happens with the current storyline and the LIs? Who was the traitor, who was the maid that Sara ... disposed of ... worked for? Arrgh! I really hope Remy gives us at least one new episode next update (and doesn't pause the story like she did with SCN this time) because I need to know what happens next!

On another note, the CG video in the end was amazing and I loved the music and the visuals so much!

My thoughts on the latest HSR update, I liked it!

Greg got more screen-time & FINALLY a CG! 🙌🏽 (A good one at that! I know that even with my 'Promise' story it was light-hearted for the most part but I would've liked for the gym scene to have ended more like that. Reciprocation, direct communication, cute slightly intense moment, & them finally touching more and/or a kiss.

The 2 main LIs scenes every update their audience eats GOOD. With Greg scenes feels like being on the brink of starvation and getting fed left over crumbs every now & then. 💀 But, sometimes, I have to realize that there isn't enough people playing his route for his to receive the same attention. It's unfortunate but it's the truth. They don't get much money from routes like Greg's.

If I do see anything pertaining to Greg it's usually because someone just wanted to test out his route on a 2nd slot or something. It's not like a 'He's my main choice." for most people. For me and my friend, @yeullove, that loves Greg too that's the case for us, but not the majority. There's very few people who post about him 24/7. And, if they do, it doesn't receive as much attention as the other 2 main LIs... That's their routes no hate at all, I'm just comparing.

Also... this lingering issue with his sister. I feel it keeps lingering & it breaks my heart bc this should've been addressed as soon as Lane saw Emma's message. Now every interaction it's a constant, "I'm hiding this info from him because I want him to stay oblivious." Like, GIRL. 🙄 I don't like this constantly clouding over his route. And, if this ends up making him 'leave' for a couple episodes and come back towards the end of a season to avoid adding to his route... 😐😑😐

I just hope for next update his route will pick up speed. I really wish there were more build up though. In S1, I would've loved for more dialogue scenes & learning more about Greg. If there was that initial proper build up, we could've got a kiss scene this update. It would've made sense with the timing but it's like their relationship feels delayed & stifled. I understand with Greg's personality type it's not going to be some kind of all consuming, possessive, obsessive type romance but there needs to be more.

Cute Greg coded scene ideas like if you're exclusively on his route it'd be nice to have him visit her in her room to check on her. Him giving her cute compliments, small scenes of Lane noticing Greg looking at her, Greg bringing her food & coming to eat with her alone, Greg could tell her random geology facts, Greg putting his necklace on Lane, holding hands, LIKE SOMETHING!! It doesn't have to be long scenes. Small scenes like I mentioned could really bring his route to life and make his route feel more fleshed-out!

Something I've been thinking of is why the hell Koujaku carries that big ass sword with him everywhere.

He wants to forget his abusive past and everything that haunts him in nightmares, he says himself that he wanted to forget his revenge once he was in the island, so why would he carry a sword that he doesn't want to use? It's not like he needs it to fight, he knows how to, he does it frequently and got training as a kid, he wouldn't have a problem with the bunch of tryhards that try to defeat him in the island. Makes no sense to carry a weapon that would only remind him of what he was forced to do.

So anyway my main point is that I think him not carrying it would add a lot more to his character. They basically made him carry it because design stuff I'm guessing, convenience or whatever. Besides the fact that not carrying it would make more sense for the person he wants to be in the island, I think it would add to the mistery they build around him.

When things get dangerous, suddenly he appears with a sword, since when does he have it? How does he know how to use it? When and how did he learn? You know what I mean. The whole point of the conflict between him and Aoba is that Aoba starts to discover a bunch of things that relate Koujaku to the yakuza, you know, dangerous people. Which is funny because Vitrip, but anyway, you could still explain why Aoba trusts them and starts doubting Koujaku because Virus and Trip say it out loud and say that they don't do the dangerous stuff. Even if they're lying, they're lying very well and Aoba believes them, he doesn't have any reason not to, specially since he knew them before they joined, supposedly.

But Koujaku, that avoids everything he can about his past, has hidden his tattoos, he started acting weird, etc, suddenly appearing with a sword that he can use perfectly and having that murderous and tenacious aura he's suposed to have would make Aoba's doubting feelings more intense for him and for the spectator. I don't know, maybe he got his sword hidden in his house when he gave up his revenge and takes it when they're about to go to Platinum Jail, maybe he could grab a random sword from someone they fight, anything that is just not from the start.

Also him having that murderous aura when he fights I think could be a really nice resource to use too, he doesn't look like that until he fights Ryuhou and is mad as fuck (or well, the glitter incident, but i mean exclusively when using his sword).

When he fights dummies in the island he's like always, but when in PJ he sees signs of Ryuhou being around it clicks and starts with that relentless, no mercy fighting style, that even Aoba is like ??? 😨. He's a killing machine. In the end, he was born a slave, and he'll always be unless Aoba can scrap him correctly. Him being Aoba's slave in his bad ending is just perfect, the only reason he's still alive is because Aoba wanted him.
