Another great concert although something felt a tiny bit more tense than yesterday...
I blame the venue especially with how the bus was right next to the queue so the guys might have felt that they had no privacy 😅
Lots of good band member interactions on stage tho 👀 plus - but I might be wrong here - I felt like I got even more attention from Bojan today the most obvious being when he got to give my little kris corner fist bumbs but held my hand in his and winked at me 🥹
I still havent told you a lot about Malmö so this may seems a big leap but yeah I promise I will get to it possibly after getting home to a computer and being able to type a diary for myself before making one for tumblr xD

One day I gotta tell you guys about the seemingly a time traveller dude I met once who looked almost identical to henry now that I think abt it
#like imagine if you met a deranged looking Jamie Campbell bower in a stairwell at 4 am#and he lost his mind over the existence of a smart phone because you have a map in there?’ and spent 2 hours rambling to you about how#‘there used to be a roundabout’ in one part of the town and would not stop tlaking about how the roundabout disappeared and so how he#couldn’t figure out how to get home as a result. also he would not tell me where home was. not in a ‘wouldnt give me his address’ way but in#a ‘wont even tell me what fucking country or town or city he is so desperately trying to get back to#way. like. it was bizarre and that’s not even the half of it#and then I met a dude who looked and acted identical to him IN ANOTHER FUCKING COUNTRY 2 years later#which was extra weird because the second guy (?) spotted me from across a public bus at night based solely on noticing one of the keychains#on my bag. a keychain that was FROM THE UNIVERSITY WHERE I MET THE FIRST GUY/MET HIM THE FIRST TIME#don’t even get me started. the whole thing was so fucking strange dude like eagle eye spotted my tiny keychain from across a crowded bus#and looked identical to the first dude and insisted on walking me home and it was just. so strange#and not in a ‘dude my age flirting with me’ way bc this dude was past his mid 40s and just. that was Not the vibe but the vibe wasn’t creepy#either like it was creepy in a what the fuck way but not in a stalker/predator way yk#dude also had the most BIZARRE legal name and I can’t even type it here without like doxxing him bc he’s gotta be the only guy w that name#second guy/second time I met him he was rapidly playing sudoku the whole time he was wlaking and talking#strange as fuck#you ever spent like 4+ hours stuck in a stairwell with a time traveller? because I think I might have#I’m half joking but that’s what it felt like FR like dude acted like he’d just come from some far off age#he also somehow managed to get into a completley keycard locked building?? and said he didn’t know how he got here???

hey queen! can you pls do an angst story with chris. where they get into an argument and chris said things he never meant. then he apologizes to her afterwards. ( basically angst to fluff)
damsel in distress | chris sturniolo.
i added my own twist to this ask. it's my favourite prompt so thank you! 18+ protective!ex-boyfriend chris x fem!reader. fighting, touches on themes of unwanted attention, mentions of alcohol, explicit language. reader discretion is advised. p.s inspired by the unreleased olivia rodrigo song 'prison for life'.
Tumblr media
the house is filled with familiar faces and strangers. a small gathering turned into a full blown house party from the moment the word got out. where the sturniolo triplets are, a flock follows. you sigh, pushing and shoving your way through the unwanted crowd.
all you want is to make it into the kitchen, miraculously being the only place no one wants to linger. the last person you need to see right now is your ex lover. chris is standing ahead of you, leaning on the kitchen counter, alone in the room. you shut the doors behind you, needing to escape. even if it means with him.
“if you wanted to get me alone, you could have just asked." he speaks smug, before taking a sip from his red solo cup.
“i'm not in the mood,” you dismiss. you open the fridge, eyes scanning the shelves but nothing calling your name.
you know you're not actually looking for anything, you just don't want to look at him. the entire night has you shaking with anger. from the mess in your home, the lack of care everyone is taking, the noise complaint you know you'll be getting later, and worst of all, that one guy who won't leave you alone.
you've never seen him before tonight, you don't even know his name, but all he's done is make you uncomfortable. try to dance with you, try to give you drinks. he brushes your waist every time he walks past.
all of your friends have been encouraging you to go for it, to get over chris. and honestly, you consider it for a moment. just to finally move on, but you can't bring yourself to. at least not with some random creep.
the break up is still raw. he tells everyone it was 'mutual' but it was a part on your request. he'd never throw you under the bus like that. he knows why you made your decision, he's never questioned it.
chris feels like it's unrequited love. although, you haven't lost any love for him, no matter how much you try to push him away. he has every right to despise you, but he doesn't.
every time you close a chapter with him, you find yourself in a sequel. it's like you're re-reading different stories, but the ending stays the same. your heart wants him, your brain wants to hate him.
"what's wrong?" he asks, sensing you're genuine in your frustration.
"nothing." you refuse to let him know what's happing in your world, let alone your mind. you don't need to let in him anymore, even though you want to let it out. he's the one person who could just sit and listen to you for hours on end.
"alright, just askin" his words trail off into a hush. he switches the tone, not wanting the conversation to stop.
“your friends are nice” he speaks in a sickeningly sweet tone, because if anyone knows how to kick you while you're down, it's him.
"you would think that" you scoff, implying that you've seen them throw themselves at him all night. him pouring them drinks, smiling and frothing over the attention he's receiving.
"the fuck is that supposed to mean?" his temperamental side seeps out, and you grow only more irritated.
"chris, can you get out please?" you huff, hands crossing over your chest. an unintentional way to seperate yourself from him, a metaphorical wall being put up.
"such a party pooper. you really gotta let loose, relax a bit." his words come out a lot more nasty that you hope he meant them, and it makes your face hot.
you give him the benefit of the doubt and think he's speaking with resilience, at the fact you keep shutting him down.
"i wonder why we ever broke up." you reply sarcastically, a fake smile on your face. he rolls his eyes, finishing off his drink and letting out an audible "ah," like a child finishing a juice box.
"i haven't seen you all night, y/n" his voice softens, and it becomes clear he's speaking for the sake of talking to you. he always wants to talk to you.
looking at the counter quickly to place his cup down, he looks back at you, tilting his head to the side slightly. he's not being horrible to you, he never has been. he's still in your life whether you like it or not, despite your hostility.
"sorry. i'm just tired." you lie. he knows it.
"your poker face isn't very good. i learnt that the hard way," he bounces his eyebrows, biting the tip of his tongue, eyes a bit wider as he stares at the ground and you can tell he's having a flashback.
you chuckle at the reference. the one time he caught you faking an orgasm didn't end very well, and he's been able to catch you out ever since. he's never been afraid to pull you up on your own fibs.
"sorry, again." you hug your body tighter, avoiding his eyes. he pushes himself off the counter with a stretch like hum and walks over to you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder.
"stop apologizing, you sound like matt," he rolls his eyes lightheartedly, and you let out a small laugh. that's always his intention, to make you smile.
"c'mon princess, let's get you a drink. seems like you need it." he nods toward to the door, rubbing your shoulder enthusiastically.
you let him try to fix your mood, because god knows you do actually need to stop stressing. you can't control what happens, just how you react. that's what chris always used to say when you were together.
feeling safe in his embrace, he security guard style moves you through the party. he hollers "excuse me!" and "coming through!" and everyone just listens, parting like the red sea. he's not the biggest guy in the room, but he sure is the most assertive. especially with you under his arm.
when you finally get to the drinks table, he makes you a vodka lemonade, saving the rest of the can for himself to finish off. it's not the most thrilling drink, but enough to keep you settled. ease the tension a bit. plus, it tastes good. no harm, no foul. as chris is mixing the liquids into cups, you feel an unwanted hand snake up around your hip.
"there you are. are you hiding from me?" your stomach drops at the voice of the mystery man towering over you, and you look ahead to watch chris's eyes snap up instantly.
chris lowers the cups, holding his eyes on the man behind you. you watch as he kinks his neck and his jaw tenses, taking a step closer. you shake your head at chris, holding a hand up subtly to tell him not to come any closer.
turning around, you stare up at the man. his breath reeks of liquor, and his shirt is drenched is sweat. it makes you sour your face and tense your entire body.
"i don't know what you want from me, but it's not gonna happen. i think you should leave." you speak sternly, trying not to let your voice shake with pure nerves. not even liquid confidence could help you right now.
"the party's just getting started," the man smiles, stumbling toward you in what you think is an attempt at a hug, but you begin pushing his body away from yours with a shove.
"dude, she doesn't want you. walk away." you hear chris's direct voice over your shoulder.
the last thing you want is negative attention on chris in a room full of people who would spread the news like wildfire. you never want that for him.
"it's okay, i got this." you dismiss chris in the nicest possible way, but you're being serious.
"come on, we'll have fun," the man hiccups through his words, mumbling them and tripping over toward you again.
"get the fuck away from her." chris's breath hits the back of your neck as he moves even closer to you.
"christopher, i'm serious. stop." you speak through grit teeth, so people can't read your lips, as he lingers next to you.
you try to be as inconspicuous as you can in your rejection to his advances, but he won't give up. the man appears more annoyed, and he grabs your wrist with a tight grip.
"let go of me." you grab the mans hand, trying to pry his grip without making it obvious.
you’re shaking at the thought of attention drawing. not for you, but for chris. eyes are already on you, being his ex. it's not what he ever wanted for you either. if he could make it all disappear, he would. it becomes more difficult when chris notices, and this time, has no intention of backing down.
"i'm not gonna repeat myself, back the fuck up." chris walks around your body, face to face with the guy who has a hold on you now.
"please, chris." you beg, voice quivering.
you know his temper can change in the blink of an eye. him and matt both have that in common.
"she doesn't need your help, pretty boy." the man splatters his words, a malicious smile on his face as he leans toward chris, almost nose to nose.
chris smiles criminally, flashing his teeth.
"you're right," chris puts his hands up in defence, a downward smile on his face as he chuckles darkly, taking a big step backward.
there's a feeling of relief, and intense fear as he actually does start to back away. but you know chris. unfortunately, it's unavoidable.
you try to catch his eyes, and speak through a begging stare without using words. he looks at you with sadness, and you mime the words, 'please don't'.
the moment the man tugs your wrist as if to leave with him, making you wince with the grip he holds. you regret your counteraction instantly, because chris reacts viscerally.
he flares his nostrils and squeezes his nails into his palm, balling up his hands by his hip. his knuckles are turning white.
before you can get pulled away, chris lunges forward with a tight fist, throwing a strong, perfectly aligned punch to the mans cheekbone. it throws the man to the ground in the blink of an eye, relieving the pressure on your skin. you stumble backwards, out of the line of fire.
chris steps heavily forward, shoving a foot into his ribcage before straddling his legs, completely overpowering him. the man projects forward to swing and hit chris's mouth. chris doesn't even flinch, like it was painless. you watch chris raise his arm up again to pummel down onto the now defenceless stranger.
the surrounding crowd gasps and yells, clearing the space that chris has created with his actions. iphone cameras flash, making you feel sick. the whispering and gossip you can already hear pounding in your head is overwhelming.
you feel so futile. chris is too in his own world to even realise the repercussions. you're not saying the guy didn't deserve it, you have no care in the world for him. you care about the aftermath.
in a fantasy world, a daydream, a fairytale even, this is attractive. a knight in shining armour, fighting for his lady. a world where there are no consequences, or social media, or fear. a reality chris has suddenly forgotten about.
he looks natural doing it, too. the veins in his arms so prominent, his tight mouth and huffed breaths as he gives it everything he's got.
you're frozen in shock, watching chris pelt another punch into the man, and you want to pull him off, you know you need to, but all your body can do is watch. watch the two men roughhousing and exchanging blows, chris taking every hit with pride.
you're numb to the feeling, screaming in your head.
appearing out of thin air, nick and matt are in your line of vision, hiding the chaos ahead of you. his brothers move into action before anyone else needs to.
they've obviously been summoned, but there's a part of you that believes they could just sense it. like they telepathically knew chris was getting himself into trouble by the lack of surprise they express.
nick grabs chris by the collar of his shirt, pulling him off. matt grabs his wrists, to stop him from using his fists. the fight comes undone, finally, but chris is disoriented. he spits onto the man as he's being escorted into the kitchen by his brothers.
your eyes burn with tears that refuse to fall, and matt sweeps your hand up, guiding you with them in a hurried manner. matt is trying to snap you back to reality, but it's just white noise.
chris hits his palm aggressively with frustration against the door frame of the kitchen as you all walk through, and you take a deep breath to compose yourself. your eyes are still welling as you choke back a sniffle, and you're not sure if it's shock, hurt, or anger anymore.
you're in a trance as you walk over to the freezer. your body is in autopilot, moving without you even knowing. you grab a frozen bag of vegetables out of the tray.
"so fucking stupid," you say nastily under your breath, slamming the door shut.
walking over to chris who's sat up on the ledge of the sink. you throw the packet at his chest, and he grabs it, questioning you for a second before matt walks over and shows him to place it on his bruised and red raw knuckles.
the room is filled with tension.
matt is biting his nails, you're leaning against the closed door, and nick finds himself squatting on the floor.
"what the actual fuck was that?" nick is too stunned to even yell, he just speaks aloud.
"i asked you not to, chris. i could have handled it myself." you shake your head, vision blurry as you stare vacantly ahead. you want to lash out at him, but for some reason you can't.
"yeah, it really looked like you had it under control." he crushes the frozen packet harshly against his hand.
"we'll leave you two alone." matt cuts through awkwardly, shooting nick a warning glare.
matt knows it's not his place to go off at chris right now. he'll do that later.
"but-" nick begins, and matt snaps toward the door. you hear nick sigh, knowing he would love nothing more than to stay and listen to you tear into chris. alas, they both leave promptly, matt flashing you a sympathetic smile on the way out.
you can hear from the other side of the door, both nick and matt are hustling trying to kick everyone out. it’s a weight lifted off your shoulders. the literal mess being left behind is the least of your worries now.
you're alone with chris in the kitchen again, the second time not being anymore pleasant than the first. you blame yourself fully for dropping your guard, even if for a second.
“i begged you not to, chris.” you repeat with a stern tone, laced with betrayal and genuine hurt.
he’s silent for a moment, staring at you from across the room with no emotion on his face. you know he feels terrible, he doesn’t have to show it. or tell you.
“did you think i was just gonna stand and watch?” he rebuttals.
“i would have preferred that, honestly.” you don’t understand how he can’t grasp the intensity of the situation.
"did you want him? go back out there then." he's bitter, pointing at the door. you roll your eyes, shaking your head in disbelief.
"chris," you start. he keeps talking.
“because i’m sure he’s still laying on the floor. go ahead. he might have a hard time talking now, though.” chris shrugs, speaking in a provoking manner.
“you’ll be lucky if he doesn’t press charges." you apprise.
“he should feel lucky i didn’t do worse.” he takes another step toward you, presumptuous in the way he carries himself.
"you've done a lot of stupid shit, chris. but that," you raise your hand as you speak, laughing in shock.
"that was unbelievable." you pinch the bridge of your nose, taking yet another deep breath.
"you know what's unbelievable is how you haven't even thanked me once" he ignores your words and bites back with irritation, face growing more twisted with upset.
"thank you?" you repeat, jaw dropping. you step toward him this time. you feel dejected trying to get him to understand.
"thank you for what? for causing a scene? for putting yourself in danger?" you step forward again, feeling like you could drive your heels into the ground beneath you.
"you're acting insane" he brings his hands to his head, tugging at his own hair with despair. his words sting, despite the back and forth arguing.
"you're the one that lashed out on that guy with no consideration for anyone else around you. that's insane" you speak with physical gestures unconsciously.
you're trying to reason with him, but with the state he's in, it's like trying to put a brain in a statue. you examine him, trying to search for his eyes but his body won't keep still, twisting and moving around.
"fuck, okay, i get it! i get it, y/n. you're not happy with me. you never fucking are apparently," his words trail off and he waves you away, turning his back to you. he sounds desperate for it to end.
you want to scream at him at the top of your lungs, and quite frankly, you could. your face burns and steam is about to shoot out of your ears.
"you don't need to protect me anymore, chris."
"i saved your ass out there." he speaks with his hand, four fingers direct to your chest. his words are like salt being rubbed into an open wound.
"saved me? that's a fucking stretch. your brothers saved your ass, because you don't think before you fucking act!"
"this is about YOU, y/n! what i did for you!" he slaps the back of right hand into the palm of his left.
"i'm not some damsel in distress that you need to sweep up and put in a tower, chris"
"yeah well at least in a tower you can't attract trouble." he speaks as if it's your fault, and of all the things he's just spit out, that's by far the worst. the most menacing and cut to the bone tone he's used.
"that was low, even for you." you huff, emotions at an all time high.
your breathing feels tight, but instead of reacting, you force yourself to seperate your emotions from the reality of the situation. you're both feeling very intensely, and expressing it the same way.
in hindsight, you could have redirected some of your emotions, but you also wish chris would take back some things he's said. there's no excuses.
chris re-collects himself and turns toward you again. he shrugs his shoulders, like he has nothing left to say. no fight left.
the closer chris is standing the more prominent his face is, and more specifically, his busted open lip.
you gasp in a mix of being upset, and shock. it feels like a piece of your heart is breaking off, seeing his delicate, pale skin so sore.
"your lip, chris." you exhale, stepping toward him.
he flinches when your hand raises to touch his face, and you know now that you've acknowledged it, it's hurting him. neither of you paid any attention to it amongst the turmoil.
"come here." you sigh, pulling his arm, bringing him over to where the paper towels are, in the corner of the sink.
tearing a white square into your hands, you rinse it under cold water lightly before squeezing the saturation out, leaving a damp cloth in your hand.
turning into chris's body, he looks down at you. he's still at last, and looks like he has no thoughts behind his now seemingly innocent eyes.
you cup his cheek gently, to turn his face downward. you bring the towel up to his lip, wiping his stained chin and mouth. he lets you, and doesn't even wince. he visibly gives into your touch. he's content.
"i need you to promise me you'll never do something like that again." you pull back, folding over a clean side and then wiping his lip softly, trying not to cause him pain.
"i can't promise that." he speaks in a whisper, as if he doesn't want you to hear his word.
with his lip no longer being red, you toss the damp and crumbling paper into sink, making it a problem for another time.
"why?" you look into his eyes, wiping your hands on your shirt.
his blue eyes are big but blameless, pupils dilated. holding his stare as your arm lowers.
"because if anyone lays a hand on you again, i'm going to prison for life." the piece of your heart that broke off earlier reattaches at his words alone.
chris's much shorter hair is spikey around his ears, and wet at the ends, turning dark brown from his sweat. you caress his messy curls, tucking it over the curves of his ears and taming the wispy strands. you hold his head in your hands, tiling him up and your mouths are inches apart.
"how hard did he hit your head?" you ask against his lips. he chuckles, genuinely.
he's an idiot, undeniably. but the gut wrenching, lawless love he has for you makes him that way. his low, smooth laughter, makes your heart skip a beat.
"i mean it, y/n."
"but i know, i know it was stupid." he admits.
"yeah, it was." you agree, shaking his head around slightly.
he grabs your hands with his own, engulfing them and holding them in his palms. he squeezes your hands, bringing them to his lips and kissing your knuckles.
"i'm sorry." he speaks on your skin.
"like really fucking sorry." he strains his head back with remorse, making his adam's apple more prominent, and he swallows hard. like he's swallowing his guilt.
"i said some nasty things. i wish i could take them back, y/n. i really do."
"i know, chris."
"no, you don't. i'll apologise to you everyday for the rest of my life if i have to. i've been horrible tonight."
"chris, enough," you hush him, the calmness in your tone making him understand you hear him. loud and clear. you need some time to forgive, but you absorb his words.
"i don't know how you didn't smack me in the mouth." he jokes, and you giggle through your breath.
"there's still time," you joke back. and he knows it by your tone.
"i could never bring myself to do that. as much as you deserve it." your banter eases the pressure, and you feel chris squeeze your hands in his again.
you rub your thumbs over his knuckles, looking at the little purple marks forming. he notices your face drop with stress, and he slips his hands away, moving to your hips instead.
"hey, i'm fine. i don't care what happens to me, i just need you to be okay."
"i am okay," you reply. he drops his face with a look that expresses he doesn’t believe you. you give a light eyeroll, and small smile.
"i mean it, i swear.” you raise your pinkie finger to him, to keep your promise. knowing it’s the only way he’ll actually believe you.
chris smiles, weak with his bruised lip, and wraps up your pinkie with his own, wriggling your hands around.
"i'm always gonna want to protect you." he pulls you toward his body. he's so warm, and radiates a magnetic energy that makes you want to collapse into his arms.
you know you don't need him to, but deep down, you would like his protection. his unconditional love. selflessness.
"i'll be sure to send you love letters in jail" you grin up at him, and laughs from the chest.
his voice is like a scratched record, fatigue taking over his body. you swallow hard, all of your senses coming back. he feels so real standing in front of you all of a sudden, like it's not just a dream you're about to wake up from.
"stay the night." you speak mindlessly.
chris brushes your hair from your face, cupping the back of your neck lightly to pull your forehead to his lips, kissing just above your eyebrows gently. he rests his chin on the crown of your head, pulling you tight to his chest in an embrace.
"i'll stay forever if you ask me to."
this is the feeling he fights for. requited love.

Yan Werewolf Dad
Boo I'm back.
Let’s ignore the fact that I said I’d try to update every day. Have a yandere werewolf dad.
Thought of Drew’s (from After Dark on Webtoon) werewolf form while writing this.
Warnings (Let me know if I missed any): Possessiveness, blood, loss of teeth, reader gets dragged back home
Your mother left the two of you when you were young. Since then it’s been you and your dad. He’s a hardworking man, trying to make sure the two of you live comfortably and making sure you have a good childhood. Trying to make sure that you’re close to him. He can’t lose you, too. The two of you settled in a forest on a mountain after what happened. To keep you close and make sure you’re happy.
Your average day went like this:
Your Dad wakes you up and makes you breakfast while you get ready for school. He’ll ask you what you have going on today to help you remember. Quiz in your third-period class, you have an assignment due in fifth. Things like that while he takes your lunch out of the fridge and gives it to you. He’ll walk with you to the bus, wish you a good day, kiss you on the forehead, and go back home to head to work in his car.
Usually, you come home first. A few hours later your Dad will come back covered in small twigs and leaves, sometimes with a treat. You help him pull the twigs and leaves out of his hair and he’ll head into his bathroom to rinse. After the two of you make dinner, he’ll help you finish up your homework, and if you have time you’ll watch TV and tell each other how your day went. Once he deems that it’s time for you to go to bed, he sees you to your room, gives your forehead a kiss, and wishes you goodnight while reminding you that his door is always open if something is troubling you.
If something is bothering you, he’s happy when you come to him. Scared? You can sleep over. Nightmare? You can talk about it if you want, or you can skip that and go straight to him reassuring you and comforting you. Just can’t sleep? You’ll talk until you do. By “talk,” it’s actually him reminding you that you’re his #1, his VIP, the most precious thing in his entire world, and that he loves you. That he wouldn’t be able to handle it if he lost you. That he’s sorry if he was short with you earlier. He hates fighting with you. He just wants to make you happy.
-
Today is different.
It started normal. Your Dad shook you awake gently with a smile before heading downstairs to cook you up some breakfast. He asks you what you’re doing in second period today and if you remember what the two of you went over last night—feeling nervous? Don’t worry, he knows you’ll do fine. He hands you lunch, reminds you to put on your coat and tie your shoes, waits while you sling your backpack over your shoulders, and the two of you set off toward your bus stop. After a quick “Love you, bye!”, you board the bus and he watches you leave.
School is a blur. Second period’s quiz freaked you out a little bit but you know your Dad cares more about you than actual grades. Lunch is nice, per usual. A little note from your Dad telling you not to be too hung up over second period and that he hopes the rest of your school day is better. He also added in your favorite treat to cheer you up.
Before you know it you’re back on the bus, riding home. You head inside, kick off your shoes in the mudroom, and laze around for at least an hour or two before starting on your schoolwork. Another hour later, you frown when the clock hits 6:30 PM because your Dad should’ve been home by now. Okay…maybe he got held up with something. You keep at it and another hour goes by. You start to feel like something is wrong.
Pulling out your phone, you’re mid-dial when your dad practically bursts into the home. His breathing is all over the place and his arm-
Is covered in blood. Dripping and getting all over the floor and his clothes. You call out to him and ask him what happened, standing there in shock for a moment before going to find the medkit. As you search through his bathroom you hear a loud thump, followed by the sound of something not human.
“...Dad?”
Uneasy, you slowly make your way out of his room and into the kitchen. You hear his breathing, but you don’t see him. You see blood all over the kitchen island and sink- and there’s some small white thing on it as well.
“Dad? I got the medkit…” You offer, rounding the corner. And then you freeze because what the fuck.
Three teeth are scattered on the floor. Your Dad’s teeth. And hunched over on said floor is some large, fur-covered beast emitting steam and making the most gutwrenching sounds you have ever heard. Where is your dad? What is this thing in front of you? Are you dreaming? Did you fall asleep while doing your homework?
The creature shifts, and you can see the ugly bite mark on its arm. It lets out a loud, drawn-out whine as it rises, arm lazily flopping onto the counter while it tries to pull itself up. It balances itself, breathless and trying to process what’s going on. You take a step back and it turns its head to look at you.
Your Dad’s eyes look into your own. Deep red brown and soft. Scared. Mouth open. Fangs are where his canines used to be. He’s…taller. His skin seems tight on his body, which is covered in fur. His ears are like a wolf’s-
There’s no way.
Werewolves aren’t real. Right?
With the grace of a newborn deer, the beast- your Dad stumbles on shaky legs. He turns around, holding onto the island like his life depended on it. The two of you just stand there, staring at each other. Your Dad tries to speak but all that comes out is some sort of yip. Something in your head clicks, and you take several steps back. He whines and tries to move closer to you, only to fall. When you move further away, his eyes harden and he snarls at you.
You freeze. Your Dad tries to walk over to you, growling, and that’s when instinct takes over.
Leading to where you are now, running through the forest in the middle of the night. You’re trying to find the main road that your bus stop is at. You don’t really know why. Barely anyone takes this road aside from the bus that takes you to school and the few other people who live several miles away from you. The occasional passerby uses the road in their long journey to get from point A to point B.
You must’ve gotten turned around at some point. You’re nowhere near the street. You’re not even on the pathway you and your dad have walked down countless times. Alright. This is fine. You’ll find a way to retrace your steps in the middle of the dark. Totally.
A sound cuts through the air. Some sort of cry, a bark mixed with someone trying to call your name. Part of you wants to respond and go to it, realizing that you just left your Dad even though he needs help. The other half doesn’t recognize him as your Dad anymore. Just a monster that’s hunting you down. You freeze again as your brain fights with itself, self-preservation and emotion currently in a heated argument.
The arguing ceases and turns into panicked screaming when something pounces on you. Oh wait, no- you’re actually screaming. Out loud, not just in your head. The part of you that doesn’t want to die takes over and you start to struggle. In response, the monster snarls at you, claws digging into your skin. It stops when it draws blood and you start to cry, snarls switching into whimpers and whines.
It was an accident. He didn’t mean to. You scared him when you ran off and you won’t come back home. He’s just so scared. He needs you. You’re the only family he has left, and part of you is him, after all. So you need him, too.
Especially now. Even though it’s kind of his fault.
Your Dad tries to pick you up and carry you back home, but you won’t stop thrashing around so it turns into him having to drag you back home. Kicking and screaming while he tries to apologize but can only keep making those odd noises. Begging and calling for help while he starts to feel annoyed because he’s right here, he’ll help you and make it better, he promises internally.
Once you’re back home, it’s a bit odd. You have your Dad, who’s turned into a literal werewolf, dragging you inside after chasing and hurting you. He steers you over to the sink, washing the cuts he gave you with an apologetic look in his eye. It shifts into annoyance when he notices that you're also covered in dirt, scrapes, and other small cuts. This is what happens when you don't sit still. Your Dad bandages you up with shaky hands, still getting used to this new body of his. At this point, you’re too terrified and confused to fight back and cry.
You’re guided into your bedroom and you immediately scramble into your bed. It feels safer there. Your Dad closes the door, flopping down next to you and pulling you close. He needs this. Needs his pup- kid close to him. Needs to know that they’re safe and secure and happy. You can miss a few days of school while the two of you figure this out.
-
You look beautiful today! Remember to get 9 hours of sleep and drink water.
Everything will be okay <3

Creep
Arsenal Women x Teen!Reader
Summary: The man on your train is a creep
Tumblr media
You hated taking the tube.
It was smelly and packed and made weird noises that freaked you out. You would get dirty looks all the time because you had to squeeze on with your kit bag and your schoolwork.
But, in particular, you hated this one specific man.
He looked to be more than twice your age, one of those middle-aged finance guys in a fancy suit and enough money to buy three houses but common sense enough to not drive through London during rush hour.
He got on at the stop after you in the mornings and the one just before you in the evenings.
With the strength of the crowd, he always ended up pressed against you during the morning rush, always a little too close for comfort.
The train car rocked violently as it moved out from the station and you immediately felt hands on your hips.
"Sorry 'bout that," He said, leaning down into your personal space," Just lost my balance there for a second."
But his hands stayed firm on your waist.
You tried to laugh it off. "Oh...er, yeah, no problem..." You were frozen in place, unable to really do anything in the packed train with this strange man pressed up against you.
You were lucky that your stop was next and you wiggled out of his grip to exit.
The feeling of his hands on your hips stayed with you as you walked from the station to the training ground. By the time training was over, you had forgotten all about it.
But, in the coming days, he clearly hadn't.
It was like the floodgates had opened. He always ended up pressed close against you, always touching you in some way and you could do nothing about it.
You thought about catching the bus to training but it would just take longer so you just stayed with the train. You thought about getting a later train but the last time you did that, you were a few minutes off being late and doing that more often just felt like tempting fate.
You could cope with it though. You only saw him twice a day (once if you missed the first train back home) and you could easily wedge yourself further away into other people if you really tried.
It was only when he started to show up to your matches that you got the feeling that something could go wrong.
"Fancy seeing you here." He leaned over the railing with one of those smirks that you think the girls with daddy issues at your school would be attracted to.
You didn't quite know how to respond to that so you just awkwardly laughed like you did the first day on the train. "Ha, yeah."
"Mind taking a picture with me? My mates didn't quite believe me when I told them that the fit girl from Arsenal gets my train."
His wording was strange and crept on the edges of creepy but it was an innocent enough request so you took his phone and leaned up against the railing, trying to get a good angle.
He leaned down, his chin resting on your shoulder and goose bumps of fear crept up your neck when you felt his breath there.
"Hey."
You jerked away instinctively as a familiar voice approached. Lia, usually smiling, held a slight grimace on her face as she walked closer. Her eyes flicked to the man then back to you, plucking the phone from your hand.
"Why don't we make it the three of us?"
She didn't let the man respond, easily slotting in next to you and resting her arm around your shoulders so he couldn't put his face so close.
It worked for the most part but, as you plastered a fake smile on your face, you caught him angling his face down to sniff at your hair.
Lia gave him his phone back, pulling you away with her.
"Did you know him?" Kim asked as she joined the two of you, having been only moments away from intervening herself.
You glanced back at him, yelping slightly when you noticed him still staring. "He gets on my train."
Kim looked back too, eyes narrowed. "Come on, I'll drop you home today. You need to be careful on public transport."
"I know."
True to her word, Kim dropped you home. In fact, she continued to drop you home every day after practice so you only had to deal with the man in the mornings.
But, it was on the one day that Kim was sick, that it all came to a head.
You pulled your hood over your head as you began your trek to the train station, huffing in frustration at every step due to the ache in your legs.
"Hey! Wait up!" Leah came barrelling over, swinging one arm over your shoulder and almost causing you to crash to the floor. "Where'd you think you're going?"
"Home?"
"Without me?"
You gave her a look. "Don't you own a car?"
"It's getting serviced. Thought that I would see how you do it."
You rolled your eyes, checking the time on your phone. "We're gonna miss the first train because of you," You told her," But if we get to the station in the next ten minutes, we'll be able to catch the next one."
"Excellent."
You were right, of course. You arrived at the station just as the second train (thankfully much less packed than the first) pulled up. You slipped through the doors, talking aimlessly with Leah as you sat in the first seat you could find.
"Fancy seeing you here."
A shiver ran up your spine.
You hadn't even realised that you sat next to him until he spoke.
Leah narrowed her eyes.
"Oh, er, yeah. Just heading home."
"I haven't seen you in the evenings for a while now."
"I've been getting a lift back."
He nodded along, seemingly uncaring towards the fact that you were clearly leaning away from him. If there hadn't been an armrest in the way, you were sure that you'd have already tumbled into Leah's lap.
"The Arsenal training grounds aren't too far from where I work. We could take a cab back together sometime."
You shivered again, body going rigid as he flashed his too-white smile at you and, almost in slow motion, moved to rest his hand on your thigh.
Leah snatched his wrist out of the air, squeezing tightly until her knuckles were white. "You need to leave her alone," She said in warning, her voice low and dangerous like it was on the pitch," I don't want to see you anywhere near her. In fact, you're never going to see her again."
The train pulled into a station that definitely wasn't yours but Leah still yanked you up and got off with you, snapping a picture of the man on her phone as she went.
"How long has that been going on?" She demanded, not even waiting to get off the platform. "He seemed pretty familiar with you."
Shame flooded your body and you couldn't meet her eyes. "A few months. He crashed into me during rush hour."
Leah sighed, long and drawn out like she was trying to control herself. "Why didn't you tell someone?"
"What use would that do? Men are creeps sometimes. There's nothing I can do about it."
In an instant, you were pulled into her, arms wrapped tight around your waist as you were pressed into her neck.
"I'm so sorry, kiddo," She said," I'm so, so sorry that you've had to put up with that for so long."
"It's fine," You replied dismissively," It hardly matters anyway."
"It does matter. Don't pretend that it doesn't. I heard from Lia that some other creep was at the game against Bristol. Is it the same guy?"
You nodded.
Leah sighed again, finally letting you pull away but still keeping your hand tight in hers. "I'm going to send that picture to the girls and Jonas, alright? We're gonna have him banned from our matches."
"Thank you," You whispered.
"And we'll work out a schedule on who will take you to and from practice, so he can't corner you on the train again."
"Thank you," You said again.
Leah grinned, bringing you even closer than before. "Now that that's sorted out...Do you know how to get home from here? I'm not too sure where we are."

ERROR 410: GONE (Yandere Faceless!Kamisato Ayato/Reader)
A/n: thank you for the 5 dollar tip, "anonymous"! I asked them for what they want in exchange and they asked for a fac█le██ ayato fic... Alright then... You did ask for it...
Unreliable synopsis: Your new coworker doesn't seem to be from around here...
Tumblr media
It was a cramped night at the bus stop. Except for the elderly, many people had their phones out since it was nearly midnight and nobody had the stamina to engage in conversation. You recently got promoted as a district manager for an international company, and oh, the work is just too exhausting to drone about. However, in this station, it didn't matter if you were an energetic student or an employee. The bus is abnormally later than their usual "lateness", and such a redundant statement elucidates just how shoddy their schedule is. Everyone was simultaneously stressed and drained and each of their war faces screamed that they would selfishly fight for the seat ride home.
All except for one man.
From the moment he arrived, you were peering at him. He had a similar appearance to the character you were "maining" in the video game you were enamored with for approximately two years. Though you seriously doubt he was in cosplay, he and that favorite of yours look eerily identical. His long-sleeved black coat and simple white turtleneck blend in with modern fashion fairly, save for his elaborate light blue hair, which was organically unkempt and not at all synthetic. His keen eyes led you to believe that he is from an Eastern lineage, most likely Japanese, but you didn't want to make any unfounded assumptions. Because it's simply impossible for someone to cosplay at this time, you were left silently marveling at the incredible coincidence.
He muttered something to himself, but you did not hear it.
“11:56 PM.”
You had a smidgen of knowledge regarding the bus schedule enough to give yourself a pep talk in the hopes that it would motivate you to give him directions. But no amount of psyching yourself up could have prepared you for when another person walked up to him. She asked the question you had been meaning to ask for the past three minutes, assuming she was a college student. He grinned at the worried girl.
He was stunningly gorgeous when he smiled.
Wholly unfair how he exudes an aura of elegance whilst wearing normal clothes while you look like a sloppy burrito wrapped by a beige shawl this dead of night.
“Oh, no, no. I am not at all lost. I’m simply looking for someone.”
Everyone was fairly sure that person would never arrive, but he stayed roving around the room, pacing back and forth as if the person he was looking for will arrive the next minute. Whoever it was, you were starting to get angry on his behalf. Who would leave such an attractive man waiting? It was improper.
But to be honest, you have already admitted to yourself that your life is quite dull— so you’re aware that this nonsensical drama you had over this imaginary person stemmed from boredom.
Out of the blue, he fixed his gaze on you.
The stranger’s eyes softened. The simmering panic in his expression vanished in an instant the moment he saw your face, and his mouth gaped open for a short while before he sauntered forward, ignoring the student who awkwardly shuffled back to her waiting spot.
You immediately felt small, upright, and astoundingly nervous. Not ready to be accosted by anyone at all.
“There you are…” He gave you that smile again. “I’ve been looking everywhere for you, Mx. (Y/n).”
You scanned the area before jabbing your finger at your chest. He nodded as if you were being ridiculous to consider that it may be someone else.
Ah, so the lookalike was waiting for you.
You were mentally fighting yourself.
“I’m ███████ █████,” he said in a gentle tone— not at all reflecting the stressed out look he sported a moment before. “— The new product manager. I’m an incredibly recent hire, so please do not feel bad for not recognizing my face.”
That wasn’t the reason why your eyebrows were knitted, though. It’s because you DO recognize his face, but you doubt he’d take you for a reasonable person should you start pointing out his physical similarities with a fictional character.
███████ █████, huh? His full name is a bit average-sounding. Sounds like something you may have read on an early 2000s Weaboo forum on "What would your Japanese name be?" which lists down dates, birth months, and the first letter of a person's first name. However, it wasn’t entirely unbelievable— you just chalked him up as an unfortunate kid whose parents were eager to give their son the name "John Doe" when given the chance.
“It’s nice to meet you, Mister █████.”
“P-Please,” he shook his head. “Let’s drop the formalities. We shall work alongside together officially tomorrow. I would like for us to talk more casually if you would not mind.”
His vocabulary was painfully filled with constrictive pleasantries for someone who seemed to be eager to have a casually cordial relationship with you. Since a product manager and a district manager have roughly equal levels of authority in your company, his desire for friendship isn't too shocking.
Yet, you can’t help but stare… It’s still so strange how he also has a mole right underneath his lip.
He looks just like Kamisato Ayato from Genshin Impact, but not for long.
At first, you envied █████’s youthful glow and wanted it for yourself, but upon learning that he will replace Mister Blaiddyd, you mentally prayed that he wouldn’t lose his mind from stress like his predecessor. That’s how stressful being a product manager is. Give him two months and he’d probably start ruining his coiffed hair during crunch times.
“Understood,” your eyes darted back to the bus station, which remained regrettably devoid of any vehicle. You were starting to consider taking a taxi to avoid this awkward conversation but there’s not a single one in sight. “Since you’ve mentioned that you were trying to find me, might I ask why that is, exactly?”
“Ah, yes,” he instinctively adjusted his collar. His sharp and sophisticated face never averted away from you. “You see— Miss Goneril had informed me that I should approach you if I had any concerns about work.”
Ahh… Hilda…
His future plight still doesn’t change how annoying this situation is. Can’t believe you’re already assigned to helping a newbie out as soon as you got your promotion. She’s planning to milk your kindness dry this month, isn’t she? Despite being your best work friend, Hilda doesn’t have to be unkind to someone to exploit them. But you suppose you wouldn’t mind too much, given how he doesn’t look half-bad. Call it vain, call it a “coping mechanism”, but there wouldn’t be any shame on your end to teach a new attractive coworker the ropes of your job.
You'll treat him nicely. As the good Samaritan you are, maybe you'll also ask him to give up while he's ahead for good measure.
“Sure, I wouldn’t mind helping you out—”
“I'm most grateful!”
“—but it is VERY late.”
You took a quick look at your phone. 11:53 PM—and there were three messages from Miss Goneril confirming that █████ is the new hire. Since Hilda never filtered her remarks when it came to... aesthetically pleasing people, you instantly pocketed your phone. It was a grave oversight on your end that Hilda found out earlier that you weren't paying attention to her babbling earlier. You wouldn't get such a long message on how "hot" █████'s mole was if you were a better pretender. Her thirst was kind of unsettling.
Ah, whatever. You’ll just delete it later.
You held back a yawn, “where’s your stop?”
“███ ███████.”
“Ah, that’s where I drop off too.”
Additionally, it is the bus's final stop, so you would have to spend a lot more time with him. Great. You hoped he wouldn't try to strike up a conversation with some small talk.
He placed his hand on his chin. Now that he’s up close, you realized just how long his sleeves were. The silhouette nearly reminded you of Kamisato Ayato once more. █████ nodded with a half-teasing smile.
“Oh, not to worry, I know.”
Hilda must have told him right away. You secretly hoped that the main reason she paired you two up was because of your shared destination so you could applaud her wise decision-making skills, but you knew better. Once more, Hilda is attempting to match you with someone.
You cleared your throat, “well then, you better prepare yourself with some sleepless nights because the buses around here don’t come around plenty. You’d have to stand most of the time—”
He muttered something again, “three minutes left.”
“Hmm?”
“Ah, no, it’s nothing. I’ve recently moved here so please do continue explaining.”
“… Right.” You sighed, “do you live in ██████████?”
“Yes.”
“Then we’d go in opposite directions. I live in █████ so this is the only bus we share.”
“Unfortunately.”
That almost made you snort. Unfortunately? It's not at all unfortunate, though. During these hours, you rarely feel socially motivated to communicate, and you just know deep down that once he starts working, you'll find a method to board buses separately from him.
“If it’s alright for me to quickly digress— may I trouble you with something, (Y/n)?”
“Sure.”
“May I take a picture with you?” █████ asked. “I want to upload it in my Instagram Story to show my friends and family that I’m faring well. They’ve been insistent that I should make friends on my first day of work— even when based on technicalities, this doesn’t qualify as my first day.”
He must be the eldest and the breadwinner of the ████████ family. That's admirable. Working with someone like him is not a problem for you. They constantly know how to get the job done.
“I don’t mind,” you said, slightly nervous. “But can you not add any weird stuff?”
“Weird stuff?”
“Like, maybe a “my new coworker is ugly” or something like that.”
“W-What?!” █████ jolted. “I would never do such a thing! Especially towards you, my bel—”
“R-Relax, that was just a joke.” Not really. “Is it okay if I don’t take my face mask off?”
“… Of course, I wouldn’t mind.”
“Great.”
█████ scooted closer to you, placing his phone up and angling it in the direction that mostly showed your face. It’s as if he didn’t want his face to be seen, but with a handsome face like that? You’re highly doubtful that is the case. His hands were trembling. The poor man must’ve been incredibly sleep deprived and running on coffee like you.
Unwittingly, you placed your hand above his to steady his phone and you heard him gasp softly. You quickly withdrew your hand away as though you touched a hot kettle when its anything but warm.
His hands were cold, it almost didn’t feel human.
“Oh— sorry!” You shrugged, cringing. “I didn’t mean to—”
“N-No, it’s fine!” He chuckled nervously. “If anything, I should be the one apologizing. I have been told that I am terrible at using a Kamera.”
Why does he say “camera” with a hard “K”? You’ve never heard anyone else pronounce it in that way. Possibly a local accent. It was tempting to ask where he’s from but perhaps that topic would be better brought up some other time. Asking that question might just make him miss his family more, and his parents might be wide-awake right now anticipating any form of reassurance that their child is doing fine.
“Then allow me to take the pic for us.”
He smiled eagerly, “I would greatly appreciate that.”
█████ handed you his phone. You set it up at the same angle he had originally intended, although this time his phone's screen displayed both your faces more clearly. Although you made an effort to contain your emotions, you couldn't help but be overwhelmed by how much he resembles Kamisato Ayato. You mentally readied yourself for the possibility that you would feel his breath on your neck, but you didn't feel him breathe. That doesn’t make you feel untouched, however, since he rested his hand on your shoulder to pull you close enough for the picture.
Is he holding his breath?
“Stay still,” he commanded.
You clenched your fist, trying hard NOT to think about how close his voice is to Chris Hackney’s.
After you pressed the shutter button at least three times, you opened the pictures you’ve taken.
He really does have a beautiful smile.
“Is there something wrong with my face…?”
“Hmm? N-No,” you sputtered out. “I just thought it was a good pic.”
“I’m glad,” he laughed heartily. “I’m still getting used to this face after all.”
… Huh.
Maybe you lack sleep, but the photos remind you of those AI-generated photos on social media— the stolen ones that artists rightfully plead credit for. Maybe you just find him excessively gorgeous because he reminded you of a fictional character you were familiar with, but his appearance somehow seems otherworldly…
“11:55, one minute left.” He muttered again as he crooned above your neck, gazing at his phone.
“For what?”
█████ laughed heartily.
“For the bus, of course!”
You raised an eyebrow. The station was incredibly empty. You genuinely can’t tell who would lie to him about that.
“Sorry, █████, I don’t know who told you that but there’s genuinely no pattern as to when the bus arrives here. That’s fake news—”
“██████████!!! ██████████!!!”
You immediately snap your neck at the sound of the bus conductor.
“H-Huh?” Your eyes widened.
█████ wore a smug smile on his face as he watched you stare at his phone in disbelief. He was correct; the time was 11:56 pm. But before he had time to gloat and act “mysterious”, you snatched his cold hand and sprinted for the seats— apologizing to the college student you bumped into along the way.
No way in hell you’re going to wait for the next bus.
“We need to go! Now!!!”
Tumblr media
You woke up the next day feeling more tired than the previous morning.
Tuesday means that you will inevitably have to work today. You woke up before your alarm, but instead of being a responsible adult and opening up a parcel of bread with hot coffee on the side, you rolled on your bed to whisk your charged phone from the nightstand. You received notifications from several social media apps and a work email from Mister Gautier, but you'd prefer not to startle yourself by hearing one of your subordinate's absurd justifications for being absent. Instead, you launched the Instagram app that you reluctantly installed because of Hilda.
The picture you took together with █████ is still up on his Story.
The image is just as you recall it. You might even say that your opinion of his appearance significantly increased after a good night's sleep. How did you manage to converse with your new coworker last night without turning into a stammering wreck when he is THIS drop-dead gorgeous? You're confident the picture wasn't edited in any way. After all, you saw him upload it directly to his phone's social media account because you wanted to make sure he wouldn't add any odd captions. Congrats to █████ for being incredibly photogenic. He genuinely looks like an AI-generated person with how flawless he appeared. You would have told Hilda straight away that whatever she was swooning over had to be some kind of catfish if you hadn't met him—
You squinted.
“Wait a second.”
You looked closely at his hand which rested on top of your shoulder.
“… Are those six fingers?”
That can’t be right.
Sure, he does look like an AI-generated person in the flesh but six fingers? Absurd. It’s probably due to the horrible lighting.
You can’t zoom in on a story, so you took a screenshot but—
BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.
“Shit.”
You had no time to spare. Hastily, you rolled out, tossed your phone on the bed, and staggered to the restroom. You had to go as soon as possible since you have a meeting this morning. At this rate, soldiers who lived ration by ration likely had a healthier diet than you– but your boss is the embodiment of evil.
You’ll just have to look at the image later.
Tumblr media
“Bad morning?”
“Oh, nice to see you here, █████.”
█████ grinned, pointing at the chair beside you, “would you mind if I sit?”
You smiled politely, “I don’t own this place, you know?”
He chuckled, “fair enough.”
It's 4:07 PM. Even though one of your team members arrived later than expected, you eventually built momentum and finished the presentation on a high note. Working with Mr. Gautier is such a headache. Thankfully, district managers have to go out in the field, so before you know it, you've excused yourself to eat lunch at your preferred café. The barely-melted coffee powder you had at home wasn't going to help you get through the day like your favorite cup here. Your cup was no longer a "morning joe", but better late than never.
█████ sank on the cafe’s chair, inhaling the aroma of the rich coffee you ordered. You assumed yet again that it was Miss Goneril’s atrocious wingman skills that led him to this place. His shoulders relaxed a bit afterward as he eyed your cup.
“I do wonder what real coffee tastes like…” █████ mumbled.
You'd give it to him, but you're stressed out—probably more so than he is, given that your supervisor basically holds his hand around the office like a newborn child. The gravity of the problems you carry as a District Manager is nothing to laugh at, either. It’s just a matter of getting used to it.
“Looking already stressed on your official first day, hmm?” You teased before you sipped your cup, pretending you don’t feel his jealous eyes. “Is being a Project Manager not what you had expected?”
█████ shook his head, scoffing with a lopsided grin.
“Oh no, I used to have bigger workloads. I’m only behaving this way since I’m not used to moving this face often.”
This face, huh? What a unique yet expected phrasing. After all, he is so attractive that it wouldn't surprise you if he thought of his face as a separate entity that must be maintained. █████ must be the type of person who cares an awful lot for skin care and self-love. Good for him, good for him.
“Never worked in retail before?” You tilted your head. “Never practiced your customer service smile?”
“In a way, yes,” he chuckled. “I am more accustomed to working behind the scenes since my younger sister takes most of the spotlight in the commi— our family business.”
█████ sure laughs a lot.
“Ah, is she something of an entertainer?” You teased. Knowing a thing or two about other people’s younger siblings, you anticipated some messy anecdotes which served to amplify your opinions on how chaotic having siblings is.
“No. On the contrary, she’s incredibly reserved and poised.”
“Then I bet there’s just something charismatic about her— is she the artistic type?”
“She is. Our family’s beloved princess is quite skilled in the art of dancing and calligraphy. You ought to watch her perform someday.”
You made an effort not to grin foolishly as humiliating thoughts ran rampant inside your head. His sister sounds like Ayaka already. How surreal would it be if you opened up your phone and did your Daily Commissions in front of him—
Oh, right! Your phone— that screenshot!
You ferreted your phone out of your bag, side-eyeing him each time you failed to find it inside its mini-pockets. █████ kept smiling as you busied yourself in hopes you’d locate your phone sooner. To fill in the dead air (and to avoid getting uncomfortable knowing that a man was keeping a close eye on you), you got right onto the meat of the subject by asking questions.
“Hey— I know this is weird, but can I see your hands?”
█████ didn’t respond for a while, lost in a trance before you lightly waved at his face. His soft gaze broke as he blinked fast multiple times.
“My… hands? Alright.”
He pulled his long sleeves— which iconically trailed longer than any other coat in the company— to smoothly show off his slender fingers. █████ glanced at his wristwatch in the process. 4:09 PM. Just one minute more.
Meanwhile, you flinched. He clearly had five fingers in each hand. The normal amount. You didn’t know what exactly you were expecting.
“Hah, I’m definitely sleep deprived,” you spoke humorously. “When I checked our picture this morning I swear I saw six fingers.”
He didn’t laugh. Slowly, he closed his eyes, unamused.
“You’re wrong.”
█████’s voice dipped low.
You never realized how warm his servile gazes were until he starts looking at you with a cold glare.
You felt your spine tremble as you took note of how he crossed his arms. What’s with this sudden shift in atmosphere? Shouldn’t he laugh at how strange your question was instead?
Why did he sound so offended?
Due to the nature of his tone, you sputtered out an excuse to bring back the light conversation you had before, “must’ve been because its dark— here hold on I took a screenshot of it.”
You opened your gallery, not bothering to scroll deep into it since it should be a recent photo. Yet, you paused, and frantically swiped up and down. You expected that screenshot to be the first image that greets you upon opening the app, but you only saw an entirely black PNG file. Why on earth did that screenshot turn void? You tried searching but you only found recent scans from the last week’s meetings and some “candid” selfies Hilda most likely snapped for herself.
This makes no sense whatsoever! You swore you took the screenshot earlier and there was no notification that it failed to save it.
“█████” smirked.
11:56 PM M: (Y/n) waits at the bus station.
02:33 AM T: (Y/n) arrives home.
8:01 AM T: (Y/n) has a meeting.
4:10 PM T: (Y/n) looks at their phone at Cafe █████.
4:10 PM. GONE.
You’re so adorable when you have your phone close to your face with your eyebrows knitted like that… Oh, his dear beloved, you nearly got him…
It’s such a shame that he knows your phone like the back of his palm.
“Is something the matter, (Y/n)?”
Kamisato Ayato chuckled behind his sleeve.
You wouldn’t meet his eye, “I was pretty certain I took a screenshot of it this morning, this is so strange…”
Quickly, you opened Instagram to check “█████”’s Story, but the image was missing as well. Since Stories only expire after 24 hours, and it has only been a little over half that time since it was posted, it shouldn't have disappeared. Your eyes remained glued to your phone, unbeknownst to the sinister smile your coworker wore amidst your defeated state.
“Say, did you remove your Stor—”
“Here.”
“█████” slid his phone onto the table.
You picked it up. It’s the picture you two had at the station. You zoomed in on his hand.
Five fingers.
“… Yeah, it’s definitely five,” you whimpered almost inaudibly. “Here I thought I could show you something funny. Damn. I’m really sleep-deprived.”
“I know, you sleep at around 2:30 after all.”
“Yeah—”
You took a breath and then shook your head. There is no need to be skeptical about that statement; it's simple arithmetic. He reportedly knows a lot about accounting, thus he most likely estimated the length of your ride home as if it were a no-brainer. You gave him a wary smile. He's a lot more calculating than you first thought; he even picked up that you were looking for the photo you took the night before without your having to tell him.
Doing what needed to be done without being asked…
“█████” swiftly took his phone back.
“Now then, would you care to enlighten me as to what tastes good on this cafe’s menu?”
You smiled.
Yeah. You think you’ll get along with the new Project Manager just fine.
“Why, it’ll be my pleasure! First off, the frappe here is not that bad…”

Hi hey hello! I'm still alive! I accidentally took some time off(? Anyway, I miss Ex-husband!Eddie, so here you have some (kinda sad) backstory to the relationship. I present to you *drumroll*...
Ex-husband!Eddie who still has nightmares about your first break-up, many years ago! When you two still lived in Hawkins. When you both left crying. The first time you broke his heart.
You'd been dating for quite some time by then. When he thinks about this, it seems to him you both were really young. That he was very immature.
But, then again, Eddie thinks that about himself now, and it's been years. And he lost you again, somehow.
There had been a disscusion. It was probably about the future. Most things wrong in his life involved that. Planning, hoping, being ready to move on. The only way he's ever been able to plan is when playing DM. The only hope he's ever allowed himself is you being happy with him there to see it. At least that worked out, more or less. About being ready to move on, well...
Of course, Eddie didn't see things this way back then. Then, it felt like you were leaving with or without him. Like you could leave, and he coulnd't. Like you had a life waiting for you, and all he had were impossible dreams and an always lingering fight for survival. Like you were taking all he had- his heart- away from Hawkins.
Eddie knows it was wrong, now, looking back- but his secret is that he knew it was wrong back then too. Still, he allowed himself to hurt you. He laughed sarcastically. He called himself a freak, to save you the effort. Eddie admitted that he knew you were too kind to tell the truth: he was some sort of adventure, a way to feel good about yourself by making someone else happy. He didn't say the word charity- it hit too close to home- but you heard it anyway.
You also heard him calling you a people pleaser. Someone without a backbone. He'd been your safe space- he knew, even if he didn't believe it- and it turned out he saw you like everyone else did.
You didn't yell. Eddie was used to noise. To metal through the speakers, to the cars in the trailer park, to the screams in his parent's kitchen. But he was terrified of silence.
You looked at him. He was used to people avoiding his eyes, to the uncomfortable faces. Yours was just empty. As empty as a face wet with tears can be. And you were looking at him, at his eyes, at his soul.
And you left.
He did the same. Eddie had had many people walk out of his life, and fuck if he was going to let you do that too. No, this time he was leaving. Enough of waiting for the people he loved to come back to him.
It didn't matter, because you didn't go back. You put everything he had left at your house and put it in a box. Your college dorm room wasn't big enough for all the things you loved anyway. You filled the box- even put in his favorite sweets, the ones you had bought for when he went to say goodbye to the bus station- and left it home.
He only found out about it when your mom, after leaving you to your brand new university life, dropped it off by his trailer.
Eddie swears nightmares are box-shaped.
By then, it was too late. He likes to think that the way he had to grovel to get your new phone number was heroic. It may not have saved you- you never needed saving-, but it saved him.
It took him a week to call. He kept lifting the phone and crying. Eddie still has the notebook where he planned, mid campaign, what he was going to say.
It didn't matter. When he finally managed to call, he crumbled. You said "Hello?", and you sounded happy. He practically sobbed a "Hi".
You went silent. Eddie heard you whispering on the other side of the line, and a female voice saying she wasn't expecting any calls.
"Who is this?"
He hung up the phone.
Years later, after you got married, you joked he had a phobia of calling you on the phone. He doesn't think it's a joke. Eddie still wakes up after hearing his nightmares ask him "Who is this?".

CHAPTER ONE ━ NEW KIDS ?
❝ I be looking at her thinking that I love her ❞
7:44 AM
"MUICHIRO!!" Yuichiro shouts at me. He grabs a pillow from off the floor and hits me upside the head with it. "We're going to miss the bus!" I groan in response. I don't have time for this, it's too early in the morning...
"What? Huh?" Another pillow misses my head. His aim is ass. "It's the first day of school, it shouldn't take you this long to get the fuck up!!"
I rub my eyes and sit up. Yuichiro looked like he was ready to walk out the door, but I was still in my pajamas. Why the hell didn't he wake me up earlier!?
"If you would shut the hell up and stopped being a Karen it'd be easier for me to get up." I mumble while rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. God, my hair is a mess. He was also really starting to piss me off.
"I hate changing schools. It's so fucking annoying." I roll out of bed and fall onto the floor with my arms stretched out. Yuichiro groans dramatically, "Bitch, stand up!" He kicks me, "I don't either, suck it the fuck up!" He drags me away from my bed by my wrists.
It took me about 10 minutes to get ready. We almost missed the bus. Yuichiro's hair was down because he was too busy bossing me around he forgot to put it up in a ponytail. We looked exactly the same entering the bus. It's kinda embarrassing. Everyone was looking at us...
We both sat next to each other silently. We were still pretty pissed with each other.
When we reached the school, I could see all eyes on us as we walked through the hallway too. It was hella embarrassing.
I looked up at the ceiling, my eyes locked on the tile patterns above us. "Why are all these people staring at us...?" I ask Yuichiro quietly and glance over at him.
He has this stupid smirk on his face and says, "Because we're the new kids, duh." He puts his hands behind his head. I look down at my feet, "Well I don't preferably like being the center of attention..." I mumble.
"I don't see why." He shrugs and closes his eyes, "It's either that or they think we're hot. By 'we're' I mean me of course." He sticks his nose in the air.
"We look exactly the same..."
I look over my shoulder and see a few other people whispering and looking at us. They're talking about us... I thought, Maybe we are hot, I guess. I don't understand how or why people find others attractive. Especially ugly ones like myself.
After walking for some time, we found our home room class.
We got lost and didn't know who to ask for help so we aimlessly walked around until we found what we were looking for.
There were very few people already here, we must be early then.
Good.
Me and Yuichiro sat next to each other, in the very back of the class. "I don't see why you don't like being in the spotlight." He says to me randomly.
I groan softly and look up at the ceiling tiles again, "You're still on that?" I ask him with a tired expression. I thought that topic was long gone by now. "Hell yeah, I am!" He rests his face in his fist, as his hair falls in his face.
"Like, people like guys that are popular. And popular guys get attention from girls." He explains.
I roll my eyes, "So? What if I don't care for being liked or for 'girls' attention'?" I lay my head flat on the table, looking in his direction.
"Bullshit!" He looks at me and grips the sides of his table. "Every guy likes being liked by girls."
Unless you don't.
"If you know that basic fact or not, Mu-mu." I fucking hate it when he calls me that.
"Whatever you say, Yu-yu." I look up at the tile ceiling once again.
About fifteen... no, twenty minutes later, one last student enters class. She was a girl with (H/c) hair and (S/c) skin.
I couldn't see her face due to the hood over her head. She sat in the empty seat next to Yuichiro and quickly pulled out her phone to check the time.
Was she running late? Wait, why the fuck do I care? She's just some random girl in my class.
Then, she takes her jacket off and I get to see her face in full. She... she's so beautiful... her eyes are so pretty... she looks at little tired. Did she go to sleep late last night? Is that why she's running late? Why do I keep looking at her!? I can't look away!!
Y/N'S POV
Thank God that I'm not late! My parents would've probably killed me! I sighed deeply and put my phone away.
After that, took my hood off my head and took off my jacket completely.
I looked over to my left and noticed two identical twin boys sitting next to me. They both had mint green eyes and long, black, hair with tips that fade into green, I didn't recognize them... they're probably the new kids.
One twin sat closest to me, he was holding a rubber band in between his teeth. His hands were holding his hair up into a high ponytail. He didn't seem to notice me yet.
The other twin had his head laid flat on the desk, he seemed to be dazed off. His gaze was locked on the wall to the right of me. I can already tell they have totally different personalities just by their body language.
I wonder what brings them both to Kimetsu Academy...
SECOND PERSON'S POV
That girl... she's so pretty... I wonder who she is... Muichiro thought. His gaze shifts to her, as he looks her body up and down.
Yuichiro looks over at Muichiro with a confused expression. He then looks over at you and felt his face turn a light red color. "Woah..." he mutters under his breath.
Muichiro starts blushing profusely, so he lifts his head off his desk and buries it in his hands. ...S- stop it!! Stop thinking of her!! He thought.
Yuichiro looks over at Muichiro again and a smirk curves his lips. He tilts his chair back and rests his hands behind his head, "What's wrong with you Mr. 'I don't care for girl's' attention'." He whispered and chuckled at the flustered Muichiro. Yuichiro was masking his true feelings almost perfectly.
"J- just because I'm blushing... th- that doesn't mean I care for her attention or anything!!" He whisper-shouts and swats at him with one hand while the other keeps covering his face. Yuichiro continues to laugh at his younger brothers embarrassed state.
Y/N L/N'S POV
After our classes ended, I was walking to my locker. Before I could put my stuff away, I overheard some girls in the hallway talking and giggling loudly about something.
I decided to look around the corner and listen.
"Did you guys see the Tokito twins!?? I heard they're in the Taro class!?" One girl squeals with full excitement.
"I know!! Muichiro is so dreamy!" A second girl gushes.
"But Yuichiro's pony tail makes him look even more hot, Oh my Gosh!" A last girl giggles.
What?
Who are the Tokito twins!?
And why does everybody know who they are except for me!?
Are they the new kids from this morning? They must have to be...
But if they're the new kids... how does everyone know them-
"-Oh my freaking gosh, Y/n!!" Aoi runs up to me, Kanao was being dragged by her wrist behind the excited girl.
"Did you see 'em!? Did you see 'em!??" Aoi grabs my shoulders and shakes me violently. "Huh!? What!? See who!?" I feel dizzy, she might be shaking me a little too hard. "Th- the Tokito twins!! The hottest siblings in all of Japan!?!"
"Yeah... they're in my home room I think. What about it?" They blink a few times in shock. "What do you mean, 'What about it'!?" Aoi shouts.
"What about it!!?" I raise my voice. "The Tokito twins!? Turquoise hair and eyes!?" Kanao starts shaking me now.
"Ohh... they sit next to me in class." I stated bluntly. I don't understand anything that's happening right now.
"THEY WHAT." They say in unison. I pick up my phone and check the time, "Guys, we have to go. I'll text you later about it, okay?"
"Fine. Bye Y/n!"
They hug me then run out of the door.
6:54 PM
Muichiro...
...and...
Yuichiro Tokito...
"They're the boys who kept staring at me in class." I tell Aoi on the call as I sit on my bed.
"SO Y/N HAS SOMEONE WHO LIKES HER BEFORE SOMEONE LIKES ME!?" Zenitsu literally screams at the top of his lungs. "LIFE IS SO FUCKING UNFAIR!!"
"Stop shouting!! We're right here!" Aoi scolds him. "It's still not fucking fair." He pouts like a child who was told "no" for the first time.
"I- I'm not sure if they like me or not!!" You shout in defense. "If you stare at a girl for too long, you like them." Zenitsu says while putting a few pieces of food in his mouth, "Believe me Y/n, I know that for a fact."
"That's cause you like every girl, Zenitsu!!" Kanao giggles. "Not every girl!! Inosuke told me to back off Aoi. And you know I'm secretly scared of that kid..." He whispered the last part.
"It's crazy how the famous Tokito twins like Y/n-" Kanao was cut off by me, "-Guys!! Stop jumping to conclusions! I won't believe it until one of 'em says it to my face."
"You're no fun, but alright Y/n." Zenitsu rolls his eyes. "And why am I the only guy on this call!?"
6:13 AM
I was one of the first people on the bus to school. I set my backpack on the ground in front of me and looked out the window.
My peace and quiet was then suddenly interrupted when someone tapped my shoulder.
"Is this seat taken?" The peace-ruiner asked sweetly. I turn around and laid eyes on Kamado, Tanjiro. My crush since middle school! "U- uh... no." I blinked a few times while he sat down next to me. "Thanks, Y/n!" A smile curved his lips.
I don't remember school busses being this hot...
We were talking for a few minutes until the bus came to another stop. A few more kids came on the bus. I was still looking out the window when I hear a low voice say my name,"L/n."
I look to my left and see Yuichiro... wait no, Muichiro. "So you don't want to sit by me, L/n?~" He forces a pout, "That really breaks my heart." He overlays two hands on his chest where his heart would be.
What!? I thought, I don't even know this kid!! "You can have my seat if you want, Muichiro." Tanjiro gets his stuff and stands up with a kind smile. I stifled the urge I had to pull him back into the seat by his shirt sleeve.
Tanjiro moves to a different spot and Muichiro sat next to me. "Why the hell did you make him move?" I looked at him angrily. His eyes are really a more blue than green if you look at him up close...
Muichiro rolled his eyes, "He offered? Why would anyone decline an offer? It's also because I like you. I think you're pretty." It's hard to tell his emotion by his expression. But I could tell he was being painfully honest. "Great explanation..." I look away from him.
"Well I- OW!!" He shouts loudly as someone grips a big lock of his hair and yanks it back. "What the fuck, Yuichiro!!" He shouts at his twin.
"Get up." The older brother said harshly.
"What!? No!? Why!?" Muichiro rubbed his scalp.
"Because I said so, dumbass!!" Yuichiro yanks Muichiro by his shirt collar. "Hey! Stop being and asshole for three seconds, dammit!" Muichiro scoots closer to you and clings onto your arm. "I want to sit next to Y/n. She doesn't seem to be bothered by it neither, huh?" I could feel the heat rushing up to my face as he holds onto me.
"W- well..." I look at both of the boys. "...I'd rather sit alone." I look down.
Muichiro pouts again, he looks really immature. Pulling my arm closer to his body, he asks, "But why? Do you not like me, Y/n?" Trying to hide my obvious flushed face, I yanked my arm away and looked the opposite direction. "Tokito twins, just go sit somewhere else."
Muichiro's grip on your arm loosened then soon released. "I'm starting to think you don't like me that much, Miss. L/n." Yuichiro placed both his hands in his pockets and cocked his head to the side.
"I feel that same way, Yuichiro." Muichiro's index finger places itself on his own cheek. "And I can see you blushing, Y/n L/n. You can't hide it from me." Muichiro's free hand comes up and turns your head to face him by your chin.
He then takes his finger that was once on his face, and places it on yours. "Your face is warm. You're so embarrassed, that's cute." Yuichiro just scoffed, "whatever. On the ride home I'm sitting next to Y/n." Yuichiro gripped his backpack strap tightly. "If you can't beat me there." Muichiro turned to his brother and smirked.

What we were
Summary: After losing Clint, your marriage and family begins to fall apart. Will Natasha be able to go back to what you once were?
A/N: This is going to be four chapters, but most of it is written. It’s a mix of angst, hurt and comfort. Obvious warning, there’s a major character death. Natasha and R have a daughter.
Time was unforgiving.
It had been six months since you lost Clint. Two since you asked Natasha to move out.
Four hours of sleep was the most you could get each night.
Time heals everything, people say.
Then, how come, the more time passed, the worse you felt?
Thoughts like these invade your mind, even when doing the most mundane of tasks. Like now, when you’re waiting for your daughter’s school day to be over. Leaning over your black Mercedes, you wish that your injured leg could be less of a bother and instead of driving, you could walk to pick up Anya and get distracted by the sights of the city.
The school bell rings and the quiet classrooms are full of murmurs, books stored away and steps walking -some rushing eagerly- to the exit.
Impossible to miss, Anya’s red waves are the first thing you spot. Raising a hand, she says goodbye to her friends and walks your way.
“Hi, darling” you sigh against her head.
She’s getting taller and maybe next year she won’t let you hug her. Maybe she’ll even want to take the bus while you anxiously wait for her return home. But now, she’s still a sweet child and she still lets you run your hands through her hair.
“How was Debate Club?” it’s the first thing you ask, because she’d been preparing relentlessly to beat the other team.
“We won, obviously”
“We should celebrate” a voice joins the conversation. You’re so startled that you drop the car keys.
“Mom!” Anya says, wrapping her arms around Natasha.
It makes you happy that she’s not resentful even after everything that happened. That she can love so unconditionally.
She didn’t get that from you.
“I didn’t mean to interrupt” Natasha apologizes, finally looking at you. There’s a weak smile on your face, what else can you do? “I was thinking we could go shopping for that new game you wanted?”
“Can we please, Momma?” Anya turns to you.
“Sure. Have fun. But don’t spoil your appetite. We’re having lasagna”
“Mom, our favorite” Anya nudges the Russian and you look away.
“I’ll have her home by 6” Natasha saves you the embarrassment of being forced to invite her.
“Have fun” you wave goodbye, heart beating fast.
Breaking the speed limit, you rush home. But the tears start running long before you’re parked.
You look at your sad reflection in the rearview mirror.
Natasha looks better than the last time you saw each other.
Maybe all she needed was to be away from you, to be happy again.
--
Two glasses of wine later, you’re curled up on the sofa watching your favorite comfort show and feeling better.
“What’s up, Buck?” you answer at the second ring of your phone.
“Are you ok?”
You look at the half empty glass of wine and decide that no, you’re most definitely not ok.
“Sure, why you ask?”
“I just saw her driving with Anya”
“Mhm” you look at the clock. 5:55 PM. She’s trying to be a responsible parent, at least. “Yeah, she showed up at school today. It’s good that they spent time together”
“Want me to come over?”
“No, I don’t want you two fighting in my front yard. Thanks, though”
“I’ll stop by tomorrow, ok? And if you feel like it, we can go to that Broadway show on Saturday. I got us tickets”
“Thanks, Buck”
“Ok, she’s parking outside now”
“You followed them all the way here?” you jump out of the couch, looking out the window.
“What? I was worried!”
“Sometimes I think it’s not so great that you live a few blocks away, you weirdo”
“But then I bring coffee and scones and you change your mind”
“Yeap”
“See ya, doll”
“Bye, creep”
“Oh, come on!”
You let out a laugh at his protest. Wanda and Yelena have been texting you, so you scroll, smiling at the silly pictures of Fanny or the videos of Tommy and Billy doing their crazy science experiments.
“Hi, Ma” Anya rushes past you. “Gonna change for dinner”
“Mmkay” you nod, texting Bucky to make sure he’s actually back home, and not slashing Natasha’s tires.
“So…”
“Nat, jeez” you drop the phone, not even aware that she is still here. She looks at you across the kitchen island.
Don’t think how sad it is that she looks out of place here, where it used to be home.
Don’t cry in front of her.
Don’t.
“Sorry, I’ll say goodbye and leave”
“Anya, your mom’s leaving” you busy yourself in the kitchen, looking away.
“So soon?” the girl peeks around, pouting. “We haven’t even played the game yet”
“Would you like to stay for dinner?” you give up, unable to say no to your daughter.
“You sure?”
“Yeah, I’m always making extra anyways”
Because you were used to cooking dinner for three.
Anya is happy to set the table, but you sit next to your daughter, leaving Natasha in front of her. You try to stay focused on Anya and school: the debate club, sports activities, a month in Europe for the best students.
“Mom, do you think I can reach out to aunt Carol? I have some Astronomy questions”
Natasha immediately looks at you, but you’re hyper focused on the bottle of wine and pouring the last of it until your glass is filled to the rim.
“Uh, she’s not... I’m not sure where Danvers is, sweetheart. She left Earth a while back”
“Oh, ok” the girl nods, looking at you with a frown. “Mom, what’s wrong? Is your leg hurting? What did Doctor Cho say?”
Crap.
“What’s wrong, det…?” Natasha asks, looking at you. The pet name almost rolled off her tongue.
Everything. Everything is wrong, Natasha.
“That old injury from our outlaw days. Doctor Cho gave me some pain killers. But I don’t think I’ll take them, they make me too sleepy”
“We’ll do the dishes” Natasha jumps in. “Don’t worry about it”
“Thanks”
The dishes are the least of your worries, but it’s still a nice gesture.
Maybe when she’s finally ready to ask you to divorce her, you’ll be able to coparent.
“Here, let me” she asks as you approach with the empty glass of wine. “Did Doctor Cho say anything else?”
You sigh, leaning against the counter, watching as she washes the dishes.
“She said surgery might make the pain go away. Actually, there’s a 90% chance it will work. But Anya’s got school and I’d have to do bed rest for at least five weeks. Maybe during winter break”
“I can take care of her. Drive her to school or cook dinner or…”
“You’re a terrible cook” you remind her. It’s meant to be a joke, but also a way to make her stop.
You don’t want to be a burden for someone who doesn’t want you anymore.
“Wanda could teach me”
“She’s too busy making sure the twins aren’t building a nuclear weapon in the garage”
“Is there anything I can do to help?” she asks, almost afraid of your answer.
“Can you take her to school tomorrow?” you finally say, without providing further details.
The truth is, you’ll probably cry until you fall asleep, because you miss Natasha and this is the first time you’ve seen her in two months.
And it would be better if you could sleep in, make an appointment with your therapist and then find a way to look composed by the time you have to pick your daughter from school.
“Absolutely”
“Thank you”
“You don’t have to thank me, Y/N”
The way she says your name makes you want to scream.
--
Natasha’s long gone, Anya sleeping peacefully back in her room.
You’re looking at the ceiling, tears rolling down your face and soaking your pillow.
You miss her so damn much. You love her so much.
And you also hate her. And you hate yourself for loving her.
There’s a soft knock at your door. You know it’s not Anya because she would have turned on the hallway light.
“Hey, weirdo” you look at Bucky from across the room, smiling sadly. He approaches you and wraps you in his arms. You sob against his chest, feeling like the sadness will last forever.
“I’m sorry”
“It’s ok. Let it all out. I’m here”
You don’t know when you fall asleep.
--
A lot has changed in such a short time, but by now, Anya is used to the sight of her uncle Bucky, rotating between the few breakfast foods he can make without burning everything.
“You read my mind” Anya watches as he makes blueberry pancakes.
“Has no one ever told you it’s rude to sneak up on people?” he mumbles, impressed at how silent she was.
“No, because my moms are spies and so is my uncle and my other aunt and basically half my family”
“Smart ass,” he chuckles. “Come on, eat your food before it gets cold”
“Did mom eat anything yet?” Anya sits on a stool, eating on the kitchen counter.
“Your mom’s asleep” Bucky says. In fact, you cried, had a panic attack, a couple of nightmares, woke up to drink some water and then fell asleep at 4 AM.
Basically, the usual for the past two months.
He’s so caught in his thoughts that he forgets to flip the last pancake. A knock on the front door snaps him back to reality.
“Can you turn off the stove? And pack your bag, we’re leaving in five…” Bucky yells over, opening the door without looking through the peephole first. He’s surprised to find Natasha on the other side “Can I help you?”
“I’m here to pick up my daughter”
“Does Y/N know?” He's holding on to the door so hard that the wood cracks.
“She asked me to drive Anya to school”
“Ok, I’m ready” Anya announces, aware that her mother and uncle aren’t on the best terms. She walks between them to make sure they won’t punch each other. “Bye, uncle, thanks for breakfast”
“Have a good day, sweetheart. See you Saturday”
“Right, for that musical, Beaglejuice”
“Shut up” he chuckles, kissing her forehead. Anya leans forward and hugs him goodbye.
Natasha is silent for most of the ride. Anya is looking out the window, uncertain of her mother’s mood. Maybe not saying anything is safer.
Three blocks away from school and Natasha hears herself blurting out what’s been on her mind this whole time.
“Does Barnes stay over a lot?”
“I guess” Anya mutters, still looking out the window.
“Well, do you know…”
The girl has enough, turning around to face her mother. There’s nothing but resentment in her eyes as she tells Natasha everything.
“Mom cries herself to sleep every night. Ever since you moved out, it's been hard for her to get up in the morning and act normal, let alone cook breakfast. So yeah, uncle Bucky is around all the time, just to make sure she’s at the very least alive. You’d know if you still cared about us”
“Anya…”
“I’ll walk the rest of the way, thanks for the ride” she mumbles, opening the door and rushing away. Natasha is stuck in traffic, so all she can do is watch her daughter from the car.
Just when she was starting to make things right, she fucks up again.
--
“Thanks for breakfast” you say, mouth full of pancakes.
“More like lunch” Bucky corrects.
You nod, reaching for the maple syrup.
“So, why’d you ask Natasha to drive Anya to school?”
“Is that why my door is almost broken in half?”
“I’ll fix it”
“You better” you mumble. He is still staring and you shrug your shoulders. “Just experimenting how co-parenting is gonna be when we officially divorce”
“So, you are asking her to divorce you?”
“She’s gonna ask me. Sooner or later” you keep your head down, playing with your food. You’re not hungry anymore.
“All things considered, the ball is in your court”
“Buck” you plead, dropping the fork.
“I’m just saying” he approaches your side. “You’ll only be able to heal once you know what you both want. But running away won’t help”
“You sound like my therapist”
“But does she cook you breakfast?”
“For what she’s charging me, she should, actually” both of you laugh. And damn it, you know he’s right. “Thank you, for worrying about me. And for taking care of us these past few months. I’m sorry I’m such a mess”
As if on cue, tears start streaming down your face. Bucky hugs you, kissing your head.
“It’s ok”
“I know you hate it when people cry, I’m sorry”
“Yeah, but I hate it a little bit more when you’re the one crying”
--
Luckily for your therapist, you’re all cried out by the time you reach her office. Instead, you discuss how it would be better to approach Natasha, who has always struggled with communication around difficult topics.
“I’m very happy with this session. We’ve made great progress” Doctor Thompson says and you put your fist forward.
“Fist bump” you encourage her.
“I’ll get my license taken away if we ever do this again”
For the first time in months, you leave her office feeling a little bit lighter.
Until you check your phone. 10 missed calls from Natasha.
“Nat?” you answer as she calls again.
“Is Anya with you?”
“I was about to pick her up from school” there’s a pause. “You did drive her to school, right?”
“Of course, I’m not an idiot” she shoots back.
“Well, I’m very confused because she’s only about to end her last class. Why would she be anywhere else, then?” you retort.
“Just meet me back home, ok?” she pleads.
“Fine”
She’s pacing on the sidewalk as you park.
“Care to explain?”
“The school called me an hour ago. She sneaked out after recess”
“Let’s just track her phone”
“It’s off”
“Well, fuck” you run your hand through your hair. “Did she say anything to you this morning? Did she seem upset?”
Natasha looks away, chewing on her bottom lip.
“I asked her if Barnes was staying over often”
“Natasha, for fuck’s sake” you sigh, turning away from her.
Don’t shout. You won’t solve anything by screaming at Natasha.
Your daughter is missing because your wife can’t keep her jealousy to herself. So fuck it.
“If you want to know anything, you ask me, Natasha, do you understand? You don’t go questioning our 13 year old daughter, who, by the way, has been through enough shit lately. I’m trying to protect her and you’re here implying I’m sleeping with the only friend who isn’t tired of me being a mess. Which, for the record, I’m not. And would never. Unlike you, I’m not going around fucking people outside my marriage because I’m having a hard time”
“I don’t know how to get close to you, Y/N. You pushed me out ever since…”
“No! You don’t get to put this on me. I tried for months. I tried everything. And you scoffed and ignored and stood me up. I gave up the moment I found you in bed with Carol”
Your voice breaks at the last part. That memory has been buried for so long; you want it to stay hidden, forever.
It doesn’t matter. You need to find Anya.
“What are you doing?”
“Calling Buck”
“I’m here. I’ll help you find her”
“I’ll find my daughter alone, thank you” you walk past her, waiting impatiently for your friend to pick up.
“She’s my daughter too”
“You sure as hell haven’t acted like her mother in a long time, Natalia”
You walk away, your back turned to her.
“Buck” you say, voice trembling.
“I know. She’s at the Met. Hasn’t left. I’m outside, just in case”
“How did you…?”
“I’m sorry. I was hoping I could convince her to come back before you found out she sneaked out of class”
“I’ll be there as soon as I can”
--
Again, those soft waves of red are the first thing you spot in the room. Her blue eyes are fixed on Degas and his Dance Class.
“Hey, kiddo” you stand next to her, understanding immediately why she’s looking at this painting. “We still have your ballerina shoes somewhere in a box. Your mom loved going to your recitals”
“I’m sorry for leaving school”
“I played hooky a couple of times. It’s part of life. I just want to make sure you’re ok”
“She doesn’t care if you’re able to get up in the morning but gets jealous because someone is taking care of us”
You sigh. Anya has Natasha’s heart, after all. She loves and protects fiercely.
“That’s not exactly true. Come with me” your daughter takes your hand as you leave the museum.
Central Park is still looking beautiful, even as fall approaches. Anya plops down on a bench and you take a seat next to her. A small groan leaves your lips. This damn leg.
“You know your mother was raised to be an assassin. The Red Room taught her that love was a weakness. And that she was incapable of having a family or people that cared about her. Even after all these years, insecurity can get the best of Nat sometimes”
“Why can’t we just… go back to what we used to be?” she mumbles, a tear rolling down her face.
“Oh, sweetheart” you hold her against your chest. “I want nothing more in this world”
“I miss her”
“Me too, Anya”
“It’s like we lost her the day uncle Clint died” she sobs.
“But she’s still here. And she still needs you, my sweet girl. I’m not saying you should forgive her right this second. But don’t build a wall around yourself, please”
“Ok”
“You know I lost my mom when I was 15. And a lot of that time I spent it angry at her for staying with a man that wasn’t good to us. But once she was gone, all I wished was that I had made her life a little easier”
“I’m sorry”
“It’s ok. I’m glad I’m here, to make sure you don’t make the same mistake I did. We’re gonna be alright, I promise”
“I love you”
“Love you too, kiddo” you keep her in your arms for as long as you can, but a light rain begins to fall. “Come on, now. Bucky’s been waiting for us”
“I know. I saw him following me on the bus here”
“My God, I don’t know which one of you is scarier”
Anya giggles, and you take her hand.
Even between all of this mess, she’s the one thing that makes everything worth it.
--
Anya was the one that texted her mother, apologizing and letting her know she was ok.
You didn’t reply to Natasha’s text. “I’m sorry” isn’t enough sometimes.
After pizza and an intense game of Jenga with Anya and Bucky, you call it a night.
You know what you’ll dream of tonight, but you’re too tired to care.

I hate how bad I want you || Choi San
Tumblr media
Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
pairing: Choi San x fem!reader || Boss x employee
w.c.: 2.5k
Warnings: Suggestive, making out
Summary: You hated your new boss with your guts. The mere thought of being around him made you lose it. Or so you thought until you saw a side of him, and yourself that you didn't know of.
You loved your job. You genuinely did. When you graduated, you thought you’d have an awful position in a small company that’d kick your ass after a few months. But unlike your low expectations, everything turned up quite well for you. Of course working as a secretary, when you studied Business Administration, wasn’t the ideal, but for that moment, it was perfect. It was a job that helped you pay the bills -after you were stubborn enough to leave your parents’ house- and allowed you to save some money, your colleagues were great -you ended up befriending most people in the office-, and your boss was awesome. Mr. Choi would always try to be a resource of help for everyone in the company, especially for you. Although you were his secretary, he always tried to show you how upper positions worked, and what tasks they had. Kind of as if he were preparing you for any promotion that could come your way.
The job was perfect.
Or at least it was before there were some changes, and your position was the first one to suffer a change. While others were transferred to a different area, or directly to a different office, you stayed in the same place -which you thought was great, because your building was only twenty minutes away from your home, by bus. The only difference? Your boss. You went from assisting Mr. Choi, to be his son’s secretary as he was going to join the company after graduating.
At first, it didn’t bother you. You’d lie if you said you didn’t like the change. San caught your attention the first day he set foot out of the elevator, walking around like he owned the place while his hands were hidden inside the pocket of his gray thick long coat. Just like the rest of the girls in the office, you were part of the group that were drooling over him -except that you did it in secret, instead of being as open as them about it. Mainly, because you were his secretary, and you wanted to keep your job.
But as time went by, all that attraction started being replaced by annoyance and disgust. You didn’t want to say out loud that you hated him -because it was such a strong word-, but thinking about having to see his face every time you looked up, because he insisted on you being aware whenever he needed something, made you think of calling in sick every morning. Sometimes you’d even think about quitting.
Okay, maybe you did hate him. But it was justified.
You lost count of the amount of times he fucked up since he started working there, which have been only three or four months. And that wasn’t even the worst part. The problem was that he’d always blame it on you. If he forgot about a meeting, it was because you didn’t schedule it properly -and not because he didn’t check. If he sent an email to the wrong person, it was because your calligraphy was barely readable on those post-its.
Every day there was a new problem. And, with it, a new excuse to back it up. The problem with that was that he made you look useless and clumsy, and that could affect you during the evaluations at the end of the year. And, unlike him, you needed the good results to stay in the company and be able to pay all the expenses that came from living -basically.
You got there earlier -as usual. You’d get there almost half an hour before the office started welcoming your colleagues, so you’d have plenty of time to get everything ready, surrounded by silence and calmness.
Thirty minutes later, some people started coming in, barely muttering a low “Hello” if they happened to walk past your desk, a way of greeting that really contrasted with your friend’s, Yana, who would sing out loud while resting her weight near the corner.
“How did your weekend go?” but she didn’t want to know about the several tasks you did back home, or how you argued with your landlady -who wanted to increase your rent out of nowhere. Yana was asking about something more interesting, more juicy.
“It was okay” you shrugged.
The date was fine, the guy was friendly… but there was no chemistry. Talking to the technician that repaired the printers was almost the same, which was disappointing. Because you genuinely thought there was something going on when you both flirted non-stop in the office.
“Just okay?” she sighed disappointed, standing next to you while she waited for a better explanation.
“Yeah” you nodded, but you knew it wasn’t over.
“Did you invite him to check your cave?” the way she referred to sex made you cringe, moving uncomfortably on the spot. The lack of an answer made Yana insist “A kiss?” she frowned.
But before you could tell her that wasn’t the place nor the moment to talk about that, your new boss made sure to let her know. After making sure Yana flinched enough to stand up, San walked over his desk. His attitude was so weird. Usually, when sitting there, he’d always throw a sided smile at you, and you guessed it was because he knew you hated it. But today he sat there, with his eyebrows frowned while his eyes were lost on his own desk.
Not like you cared though. If that was a sign that it’d be a calm day for you, you weren’t going to complain. You saw him placing his glasses properly, reaching out to one of the papers so he could read it.
Looking at him right now, you couldn’t deny the sex appeal he had. His harsh factions made him a man that was easy to slip your eyes to. Way too easy. The problem came up when he interrupted his silence to open his mouth.
The sound of a notification in your computer made you go back to reality, moving your eyes away from him to focus on the screen in front of you.
Mr. Choi: Did you get everything ready for my meeting?
You: Yes, the samples are on the small table behind you, and I already emailed you the presentation.
You didn’t need an answer from him to know whether he got it or not, it was enough with lifting your eyes again to see San turning on his chair to pick up all the bound samples and leave them on his desk.
“Hey, Y/n” another voice got you to finally move your eyes away from your boss. Marshall was looking at you with a smile “I really enjoyed the other night”.
Did he? You made your biggest effort not to frown and show how you didn’t feel the same way. Instead, you tried to match his energy, smiling and nodding, and even lying saying you two should repeat it any time.
Another notification from your computer interrupted your chat, making you turn to it momentarily to find out that -not surprisingly- your boss sent you a new message.
Mr. Choi: Get ready. You’re attending the meeting, too.
You avoided looking up to San, because you were sure that if you did, the first reaction from you would be showing him your middle finger. You had scheduled an interesting workshop regarding leadership, that was planned by his father, and you wouldn’t be able to attend because your new boss was dumb enough to not be able to do shit by himself. If he had told you earlier, you’d have registered on the one that took place in the afternoon instead, before the inscriptions closed.
“Ready?” you heard his voice over you, while you saw his gray suit behind your computer. “Also, Marshall, don’t you have something to do?” you looked up to the two men, seeing an expression from San that made you want to punch him. It was that arrogant look you knew too well.
“Yeah, I’m attending the meeting in five minutes as well” he let him know with a smile.
That answer was something San didn’t expect, and his reaction was curious to you. Because why was he frowning, and clenching his jaw over his employees doing their job?
Too late to backtrack on his decision of having you there, San just waited for you to follow him to the big meeting room.
San’s attention during the meeting kept shifting to you, seeing how Marshall and you kept exchanging smiles and looks every once in a while. It shouldn’t bother him the way it did, but there he was, trying his best not to throw that man off the window for earning those accomplice gazes from you.
“Break time” you heard his voice sentence. Looking up to him, you found him twisting his jaw while tilting his head.
You didn’t know what bothered him, and it wasn’t like you cared either. Honestly, you were grateful for that break, because your body was craving some coffee before being able to keep up with taking notes constantly. “Not you, Y/n” he said, as soon as he saw your attempt to walk to the door.
Giving you an empathetic smile, Marshall just left the room, while the rest of the attendees also left the room and closed the door behind them. And you just stood there, waiting for him to tell you what he wanted from you, or what he wanted to change in five minutes and that’d put you in a tough position.
“I see you laughing a lot with Marshall” he mentioned, without even looking at you.
You couldn’t describe your face at that moment. Both eyebrows arched, surprised by that comment, but also confused by the nature of it. Sure you were paying attention to what was being said, but you were only there to take notes, which you did. It wasn’t your fault that he read the slides you prepared, instead of coming up with something to make it more dynamic.
“In case you forgot, we’re in the middle of a meeting” he raised one of his eyebrows over the frame of his black glasses.
You scoffed, not believing you were receiving a lecture about professionalism from the least appropriate person for it.
“You have something to say?” he asked, finally getting up from his chair and walking over to you.
You wished you were able to bite your tongue, to form a tie with it so it wouldn’t spill more than it should. But you were so fed up with him, that having San lecturing you about your work made you reply back without giving it a second thought “Quite funny how you’re the one calling this out, as if you hadn’t done worse”.
San tilted his head, with a sided smile forming on his face before he spoke “Difference is that I’m your boss, and you’re my secretary. I can make as many mistakes as I want, you can’t”. By the way he arched his eyebrows, you knew he wasn’t done.
“So talking with a coworker is a mistake now?” you tried to do your best not to laugh in his face.
“It is if it distracts me” he stepped closer.
“For fuck’s sake, you get distracted by a fly. How is that my problem?” It was after exclaiming that, that you were finally aware of how close you two were. You could perfectly see the way his skin wrinkled on his frown, and could feel his heavy and thick breathing making some of your locks move.
San analyzed your burning gaze, eyes dropping to your plump lips, before he gave in to his wild instincts. His lips captured yours in a rough way, trying to suck into your lower lip as if that would refrain you from pushing him away.
A wet sound flew between you two when your hands, pressed against his chest, forced him to step back and break the kiss. You were ready to slap his face and leave the room, but something in the way he looked, how his lips were parted for more, built some type of electricity inside of you that clouded your judgment. Because you weren’t seeing your annoying boss anymore, you were seeing a sexy man that was giving you the most shameless of looks with his foxy eyes through his lenses.
Your tongue clicked, scolding yourself for your thoughts, but also working as a sign of where you lost your mind. Your hands wrapped around his neck, pulling him to you so you’d be able to link your lips together again. His arms instantly moved around your waist, making sure your bodies were glued together.
You were impressed. Completely surprised by the fact that a two second kiss did more for you than a two hour date. And, to top it all, all your senses went numb because of your boss, instead of everyone’s crush. But instead of fighting all your awakening needs, you just let yourself go, lost in the kiss that made your head turn in circles and turned your knees weak as jelly.
Just like the entitled asshole he was, he dug inside your mouth without a previous warning, earning a gasp when his tongue pushed yours. You held onto his blazer when his hands started pulling your pencil skirt up, folding it until it barely covered your ass. His hands grabbed it, and you couldn’t understand it, but feeling his growing bulge against your stomach woke up something that you didn’t know you felt about your boss.
His fingers moved lower, confidently traveling down your legs until they got to your inner thighs while his thumbs still pressed tight over your ass cheeks. One move from his whole body, and he already got you lifted over the crystal table with your legs wrapped around his thin waist.
Your body reacted to every kiss and every move of his tongue, to his fingers rubbing all over your thighs to spread them wider so he could fit better -and, especially, to the dangerous situation you both were in.
“I could fuck you right here and now” his raspy voice felt like the most torturous caress in your ear. “, but I’ve already been unprofessional enough, according to you”.
Confused by his words, you felt his hands dragging your thong down your legs. And instead of being filled with anything that came from him, you felt the cold air hitting your sensitive spot when he stepped back. “Now go and tell everyone to come back inside”.
You tried to reach for your underwear, but his hand was quicker, moving it away before you were able to even touch it. Any hope of having them again disappeared when he saved them inside one of his pockets. “Are you fucking crazy? Give them back”
“Take it as a punishment for being way too friendly with Marshall all up in my noses” he said, walking back to his seat to act as if nothing had happened between you two.
Nothing could describe the anger you were feeling, and how you were ready to break each one of the laptops in his head. But you tried to keep your cool, placing your skirt like it was supposed to -thanking god its length was under the knee, so it was easier for you to hide the fact that you were wearing no underwear.
You swore one of those days you’d kill him, and there was no way you’d feel bad in the slightest.

part 0.4. SEE YOU TOMORROW
NOW PLAYING . . . coward by matt maltese
he wasn’t actually mad about losing the game. he felt a little proud, seeing how well she still played after all these years. she still reacted as quickly as always, receiving steadily and perfectly. and perhaps he had gone a little easy on her. he’d never admit it himself, and he knew not to make it obvious. he still adapted himself to bokuto’s habits and met kuroo face on in blocks.
which is why he couldn’t understand what the two were quietly talking about far away on the other side of the net. he knew kuroo had been up to something all day, he hadn’t tried to hide it at all.
he didn’t know what they were planning but his feet carried him towards them nonetheless. as he approached, the two began hitting each other on the shoulders, hushing the other. oikawa couldn’t be less bothered, if they wanted to keep it a secret he wasn’t going to say anything about it. “i’m still not over the fact that you guys got me to come all the way over here only to never put me on the same team as her.”
kuroo wore the same stupid grin as always, shrugging his shoulders, “what can i say? i told you bokuto cries if he doesn’t have someone set to him,” the ace in question looked at his friend, mouth agape.
“i do not!” he cut in.
“you were going to convince akaashi to stay if oikawa hadn’t. don’t try and pretend, i’m just being honest,” kuroo raised his hands in surrender, “you guys made a good team anyway.”
oikawa crossed his arms, pretending to be upset, “and yet we still lost.”
“hey, don’t blame me if a middle blocker and libero can play better than an ace and a setter, as y/n put it.”
he found that his eyes immediately trailed back to her at the mention of her name. she was currently laying on her side on the floor a few feet away, typing away on her phone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
he and kuroo had been plotting this all day. everything today had lined up for this moment. this was bokuto’s one chance to play cupid and he was not going to pass up on it.
y/n and oikawa had both been nice enough to offer walking him back to his bus before they found their own, which was also part of the plan.
they all had been making light small talk as they walked, and now they were nearing his stop. this was the time.
“i had a lot of fun with you guys today, even if i lost! and oikawa i’m really glad you came despite it being really random, i’ve wanted to play with you again after that first match we had against each other. and i’m glad i got to know you better, especially after i was added to that group chat when i found out who you liked–” he could see the setter’s eyes get wider with every word.
there was a small pause of silence, y/n opened her mouth to say something but then stopped herself.
“oh. yeah,” oikawa managed to pull himself together a few beats later, "i’m glad i came too.” he had placed a hand on the back of his neck, eyes looking towards the ground as they came to a stop.
“thank you for walking me back! i’ll see you guys later,” the ace waved, leaving the two in silence.
oikawa was so wrapped up in his own thoughts he didn’t move for a second. it was so silent she must have been doing the same. but then she nudged him, tilting her head back towards the way they had come. “we’ve gotta get back before our bus leaves,” she said. her face revealed nothing about what she just heard.
he wasn’t even sure what to say. this is why he needed iwaizumi, or just someone to fall back on. he wasn’t good at expressing his own feelings, especially when he was alone with the girl who was the source of it all. sure, he could flirt with any random girl, but that was because he didn’t feel anything for them. he didn’t have to think about what he said, except for when it came to her.
“yeah,” he mumbled, following her lead. should he even bring it up? or not even mention it? then she would think he was purposely hiding the fact from her. which he was, but for good reason– it was taking everything in him not to pull out his phone and furiously text iwa.
once they reached their bus, he followed her on. she took the window seat while he slid in next to her. he tried to look at her but she wouldn’t turn her head towards him. her voice was almost drowned out by the bus starting up, the shelves above them shaking as they began to move.
“so,” then she looked at him, she had a small, teasing smile on her face but he couldn’t tell if it was real, “are you going to tell your best friend of 10 years about this girl you like?”
at the question, his eyes flicked down to her lips before he caught himself. it was second nature, but he needed to compose himself or she’d piece it together. he couldn’t do that. this had been his same dilemma for years; she just called herself his best friend and maybe she wanted to be nothing else.
“i–” he tried to answer. he would have made it worse if he paused to respond but he didn't know what to say.
right now wouldn’t be a bad time to confess. sure, it was a rickety bus, but it was kind of romantic. they were sitting next to each other, she was looking at him, and he was looking at her. he could see her reflection in the window behind her. the sky looked nice. it would be a nice moment. he could do it–
“i can’t tell you.”
that was not what he wanted to say.
if she felt anything she didn’t let her face show it. she only nodded, “fair. don’t worry, i won’t push you to tell me or anything.”
“sorry,” he couldn’t do this any longer, he looked away to stare at his hands in his lap. “i just don’t want it to get out, you know? somehow bokuto found out which is crazy enough and i don’t know how.”
yes he did. what a liar he was. he had a whole group chat dedicated to this problem.
if iwa was here right now oikawa would be dead. he could already feel how disappointed iwa would be when he would have to tell him what went down later tonight. if he was here, he’d be telling oikawa how he was making everything worse with every word. but iwa wasn’t here and oikawa had no idea how to handle this.
“yeah, i get it. you’re fine,” she assured him.
they both slightly lurched forward as the bus came to a stop.
“i’ll walk you home,” he tried not to say it too quick or eagerly. at least he could do this right.
“are you sure? it’s cold and you must be tired,” she gave him a worried look.
the things he would do to be able to express his feelings that were eating him up from the inside. his heart felt like it twisted itself every time under her gaze.
“y/n we live like two streets away. i can spare a few minutes to make sure you get home safe,” he said with a small smile. he stood up, offering his hand for her to take as she got up as well.
she was looking away, her hair had fallen to cover the sides of her face. her face had warmed from behind them, but he didn’t know that. she could only describe how she felt at the moment as nauseous. he went from basically rejecting her to insisting that he walk her home and offering his hand.
once they had stepped off the bus, she kept waiting for him to let go of her hand but he didn’t. the walk from the bus to her home wasn’t long, and they reached her house in a few minutes.
“thanks for walking me home, and playing volleyball with us,” she said, facing him as she stood on her doorstep.
“anytime, y/n,” he gave her a smile and she couldn’t hold herself back anymore. she didn’t really know where they went from this; if she would be able to control or hide her feelings anymore. especially if he liked someone. she didn’t know how she would handle it. she was so confused at the world, which had seemed to make them revolve around each other. it was like gravity pulled them close together, but never close enough to touch.
she hugged him because she could do nothing else. her arms wrapped around him, her face buried into his shirt, and he returned the hug just as quickly.
that seemed to ease the tightness in her chest, and in his too. he tried to quietly let out the breath he had been holding in, trying not to make it obvious how much her touch had calmed him.
too quickly for his liking, she pulled away. “see you tomorrow?” she said.
“see you tomorrow.”

college bf!jun scenarios

requested by anon. anon i hope you see this!
pairing: jun x reader
warnings: fluff
word count: 590
Tumblr media
college bf!jun who's been your best friend since the day 1 you joined. it was your first day at uni and you were lost and running late for your first class. you bumped into jun in a hurry but thankfully he was heading in the same direction and showed you the way. he found you during lunch break and after that day you both were inseprable.
college bf!jun who's would buy snacks and carry them in his bag all the time in case you hot hungry. and if you did get hungry his bag is like an never-ending array of snacks, he just keeps bringing all types of snacks out - but they're all your favorite snacks.
college bf!jun who's such a goofy guy honestly. loves making jokes, especially in the library when you're trying to study but he thinks it's a great time to tell you all the funny jokes he's collected or silly pickup lines he's learned. everyone looks at you both like you've both gone crazy because jun is laughing (not so softly) as he cracks a joke. "jun!, you whisper yell. "is it not funny? i thought it was funny, it made soonyoung laugh", he tells as he sits up straighter. "jun this is a library, we're supposed to be quiet", you tell and he nods. "oh yeah, i forgot, sorry", he says. "well in that case can we step out for a break, i really want to tell you something", he says and doesn't even wait for you to reply before he's standing up and taking your hand and taking you outside and telling you the joke and taking you to the caferia for a snack.
college bf!jun who was a nervous shy wreck before he confessed his feelings for you. he found you late at the library and sat down with you. he even got you some food and you noticed how the kimbap didn't have cucumber because you didn't like them. but jun paid attention to everything, all the silly and small details you'd tell him. "how come you're here? i thought you were with minghao?", you ask as you take a bit of the kimbap. "isn't it obvious?", he prompts and you just blink at him. "because i like you", you tells and you stop chewing. he thinks he messed up big time when you just stare at him but later when he's walking you back to the bus stop, you mumble out an "i like you too", before running inside and closing the door. jun would try to play it cool but he's so happy.
college bf!jun who's such a silly goofy person and he always finds some way or another to make you laugh or smile. he loves seeing you smile and if you were stressed or unhappy, he'd do his best to bring that smile back to your face.
college bf!jun who hates seeing you stressed and if you were overworking, staying up late too many times and just stressed and tired from studying, he'll pry you away from the books and hold you in his arms, telling you to sleep and that you needed rest too. he'll lightly scold you for not taking care of yourself and make sure you're eating your meals on time not pushing yourself too hard.
college bf!jun who always manages to light you up even on some of your worst days. he's your pillar and someone who's been there for you no matter what.

txt reactions- panic attack
warnings: comfort,fluff,curse,love words,crying
Choi Soobin
It took seconds for you to leave the office after receiving the call from Soobin. You knew that guys were hungry after dance practice and wanted to eat something. You bought something for each of them from the cafe next door and jumped into your car. When you got there, Soobin was waiting for you at the door. "Honey, Welcome." He gave you a big hug. Your body got lost in his huge body. This image made the others laugh. You gave them the packages and sat down. You looked at the messages that came one after another on your phone. It was coming from work. You felt panic as tons of scoldings were coming to you because of the faulty files you made. When you noticed that the drink you were holding in your hands was shaking, you quickly put it back. When Soobin looked at you, he saw that your breath was short and your eyes were moving randomly around the room.
Your hands were shaking and your eyes were looking confused. When he realized you were starting to panic, Soobin quickly took you into his arms. While he was trying to comfort you, he was caressing your hair and supporting you by holding your waist with his big hands. While he guided you to take deep breaths, the others quickly brought water for you. Your hands were shaking so much that you knew that if you held the glass, it would fall and break. And so Soobin slowly held it in your mouth. You sipped it slowly through messy breaths and noticed that your breathing was slowly improving. Soobin patted her on the back and placed a small kiss on her forehead. "Shh..there is there is..It is now okay.."
Choi Yeonjun
You were at the mall with Yeonjun. You were walking around holding hands and taking shelter under masks and hats. You were already happy with the effort you made to avoid being recognized. You traveled around and showed each other the ridiculous things you found. But the most important thing was to look for things for your new house. Yeonjun was helping you as much as he could and giving you tons of ideas. You were very grateful to him for this. Finally the shopping was over and it was time to go home. You started walking with Yeonjun. You were looking for the elevator in the shopping mall.
You got into the second elevator and pressed the button. The elevator was moving between floors. As the 2nd floor went from the 1st floor, the elevator suddenly stopped. When you opened your eyes and looked at the door, you realized that you were stuck. At that moment you got worried and looked around. You were out of breath. “Yeon.." He recognized your voice and pulled you. You were shaking. He stroked your head and kissed you. You were literally crying and trying to hold yourself not to pass out. Because Jun will be too stressed and panicked. He hugged you and after a few minutes later, The elevator started again. When you reached to the ground, You were fine.
Choi Beomgyu
It was goddamn exam time and you were under big stress. You were trying so hard to make it up and getting better degrees on this tests. You always ended up with low degrees. And also like this you started crying after the exam. You went to home with bus and the crowded placa made you feel worser than you thought. You went to your house and sat on the couch with trembling hands and sweating. Beomgyu was in the bathroom and bathing because of the sweat he earned in the dance practise room. You were trying to help about it but it was useless. You know it is not gonna ease now. Fortunately, Beomgyu came out fastly and found out you in the livingroom. He brings paper bag for you. You started breath with it. It was helping a lot. Your breath is getting slower and you were finally getting calmer. He kissed your forehead. "I am here honey..Everything will be fine."

My Childhood Friend Wrote A Gay Omegaverse Fanfic About Me! Chapter 1
hiiiiiii welcome to the first chapter in this series whooo. A couple. things mc homophobic (he will get over it) but if you agree with anything he’s saying get out 😛
Chapter one | next chapter | past chapter | masterlist
The bus rides always sucked, if you had no friends it sucked even more. Lucky for you, you don’t have those problems. You have many friends, cool friends. Unfortunately, none of them ride your bus. Well, you have one friend but he’s your weird childhood friend, Jobie You’ve lived right next to him for years, and, sadly, that somehow means he’s attached to you, like a parasite which you would be fine with if he wasn’t gay! You know how that sounds, but you're not homophobic! How can you be homophobic and have a gay friends? That doesn’t make sense. Fortunately, he was too engrossed in his little online comic to notice or talk to you right now.
You look out the bus window, it’s going to rain. You already knew it, the sky was cloudy and this morning on the walk to the bus stop you could smell the rain. You love rain, you do, but you have soccer practice later today, and you really can’t miss it. Well, you can, but you’d prefer not to. Missing it would mean taking the bus home, and that would mean talking to Jobie, and that’s one of the worst things ever. All he talks about is his stupid new bl obsession and blah blah blah. Maybe you can convince a real friend to drive you home. God, you just wish you could get away from his rants about his newest fixation.
You sigh. You hate the bus, but school is even worse. You don’t have any classes with any of your friends. Well that was a lie, you have one class with Jobie but he definitely doesn’t count. You feel a small pale finger poke your shoulder, you turn your head and glare. How dare he ruin your train of thoughts. You see his pale blue eyes widen just ever so slightly and you soften your [eye color] eyes faintly. As much as you want to tell him that you hate him and his clingy attitude you can’t. Why not? Wouldn’t it be so much easier to get rid of him? Unfortunately he has the hottest sister possible. You can’t let such beauty go.
“I was wondering if you wanted to come over…?” He asked quietly. Your eyebrows furrowed. You saw him looking down at his lap, and you assumed he was expecting the worst.
You paused. This could be an excuse to see his sister! Wait, she won’t be back until spring break, and that’s next week. You can’t just tell him no, he’ll go complain to his little mommy and then his precious mother will talk to your mom. You need an excuse.
“Can’t, sorry, I have soccer practice today.” You say. Hopefully that would be a good enough excuse. You see him look up with a frown plastered on his face.
“It’s going to rain today, didn’t you read the forecast?” His quiet voice seems to ring around the silent bus. Ah, he got you. Ugh, how are you supposed to get out of this one?
“Well we can still practice in the gym,” you smile. He doesn’t seem completely convinced but he finally gets off your back, going back to his online book, You look at him you can see the small frown on his face. You hate to make him feel bad, but you just let your smile fade and look back out the window, toward the dreaded school.
——
As the school day continues you can’t help but feel increasingly worse. It’s unlike you to feel this bad over other people. For example, you didn’t feel bad the time a friend broke an arm, or the time your dad lost his job, but yet you feel bad because you rejected a kid you don’t like. So you’ve decided to go home with him. It doesn't matter if his hot sister isn’t there, he still has an awesome gaming setup.
As the last period approaches, so does your class with him. This is where you plan to apologize. You hate to admit it, but you’ve been thinking about this all day. What were you going to say? What were you going to do? Finally, you decided to just say sorry, and that you do actually want to come over.
Sixth period finally rolled around and you saw him, Jobie. He was looking at his phone like normal, unbothered by your staring. You frown slightly. He probably doesn’t care. It's understandable, but still kind of annoying. Is this what mom thinks when you ignore her? Whatever, you’ll just catch him at the end of class. You look out the window, it seems like the rain is finally starting. It was supposed to start earlier, around ten but here you are. You put your head down and wait for the class to end.
                                                    ——
Biology class took longer than normal. By the end of the day it had already been long enough, but the added weight of talking to Jobie attached a whole lot of extra Stress. But it was finally the end and finally time to talk to him. You look outside briefly and start making your way to him. You pause. Is this really okay? You blew him off this morning and now you're apologizing. It makes it seem like you're desperate or something.
Something’s wrong, you know it Jobie always rushed to the bus, tripping on anything and everything, but today he isn’t. He's just sitting, waiting. Maybe he’s waiting for your apology, your forgiveness. Your eyes narrow. It’s weird, but it’s none of your business. All you have to do is apologize.
“Hey Jobie,” you say, walking the rest of the way up to him. He jumped, your voice scaring him. He turned off his phone and looked up at you, blushing. You were about to say something, but you paused. Not only was he acting weird, but he also seemed guilty. You can see it in the way he tries, desperately, to look away from you. It could be passed off as his normal behavior, but something was wrong with him.
“You good?” You ask, leaning over him. His face reddened and he looked down.
“You’re, um, a little close…” He squeaks, fidgeting with his hand. Oh, you were, you were practically squishing him.
“Oh, sorry,” you didn’t mean for it to come off so awkwardly, but it did. You back off and stand next to him, forcing him to turn to look at you.
“So, uh, how are you?” You decided to take things slow. “Aren’t you going to miss the bus?”
“Ah no, someone's driving me home. Why?” He looked up at you.
“No reason, really,” you shrug. “Better get off to soccer practice if I don’t want coach up my ass.” You mumble the last bit as you walk off. Jobie is the type to report you for something as stupid as cursing. Well, that was a bust. You didn’t get to apologize like you wanted. At least it saves you the embarrassment of saying sorry to him.
“Wait!” Jobie calls out “Can I walk you? You looked like you really had something to say.” How does he know that? Can he read minds or something? Now that you think about it, he always knows what’s on your mind. Could he be a mind reader? Or maybe you're just easy to read. Whatever, it doesn't matter.
“Ah well, it sounds stupid so never mind.” You say, now that you think about it, who is this person driving him home. “So, who’s this friend?”
“Oh! Um, well, it’s embarrassing to say,” Jobie looks off to the side, fidgeting with his coat seaves. Then he stops walking, takes a breath and looks at you. You almost ran into him, but stopped yourself just before.
“Tell me what you were going to say,” Jobie looks you right in the eye. “I want to know.” With how girly he looks, you never expected him to be so threatening. You look him in the eyes. Is he serious?
