My creativity has been stuck in essentially a rush hour traffic jam for like weeks, so let's write something silly for practice, shall we?

Lucifer

Definitely ten or more. He tries to keep his composure, to focus on the task at hand, scold you for coddling him and distracting him, but if you hold onto your stubbornness and see it through to the end, he will be putty in your hands soon after you reach double digits. He might even fall faster if you give him little bits of praise after every kiss.

Mammon

Three MAX. One to catch him off guard, one to make it really sink in, and then the third to land the final blow. No amount of tsundere will outlast the triple attack. He'll be following you around like a lost puppy for the rest of the day, almost demanding more. He's greed after all, three might've broken him, but he'll be damned if he doesn't get more.

Levi

I would be tempted to say just one is enough, but we want a soft boy, not a vibrating, anxious mess. He gets tense at first, and he needs some reassurance and some time to understand that he likes and is okay what is happening. So I'm going to say five or more kisses. The first few he's just stuttering and blushing, but soon after, he can put that aside and just allow himself to relax a bit.

Satan

He acts like it takes him just as long as Lucifer, reaching double digits, when in reality he gave in internally much much earlier than that. Four is when his heart is melting and his mind is screaming, but around eight is when his body starts to unwind, almost curling around you like a cat.

Much higher than you would expect. One must bridge the initial flirting phase before he becomes a puddle. I'm going to say probably six kisses. The first three he'll be giddy, but if you get softer with each kiss, he'll slowly start to become speechless.

As long as there isn't food in the way, just one. One kiss is all it takes. This demon has just so much love in him, you hardly need to kiss him for him to be soft for you. He doesn't need to put up an act. Just give him a single smooch and he'll drop whatever he's doing to cuddle into you.

Belphie

So many kisses. Probably even more than Lucifer. He feels like he deserves your kisses anyway, so it's hard to get him flustered about it, especially when he's so spoiled. Besides, you have to hope your affection won't lull him to sleep. Over ten for sure. Just keep going. Eventually, he'll be overwhelmed and give up his sleepy smug nature and transform into fluff.

Diavolo

Look me in the eyes and tell me this touch starved man will not cave after like two or three. He's not used to kisses, so the first kiss has his brain lagging. Hit him with the double combo and he's gone. Wasted. Fatality. Although please just kiss him more than twice. He really likes it.

Barbatos

Too many to count, unfortunately. He likes it, don't get him wrong, he's just tough to break. But there must be a breaking point somewhere. Keep attacking him with kisses and surely he must give in eventually, although most likely by his own will, giving in just so you can catch a proper breath. A win is a win.

Simeon

Probably no more than four, although it seems like more than that because he'll often return to sender and kiss you back. Don't give in, you must stay strong before he makes you melt first. Hum as you kiss him and he'll fall faster, almost cooing.

Solomon

He's got a stronger will than most, almost as good as Barbatos, but he will melt in due time. He'll treat it like a game at first, which it almost is to you, but he doesn't have to know that. It takes a while, but when he melts, he melts fast. He'll be trying to chuckle and make light of it one moment, and then be a completely speechless mess the next.

When will the game be out?

Hopefully, early 2025, we will communicate an official date when we have more visibility. At the moment (16/08/2024) the full script is written, but we are still missing some key arts (all the CG, 5 sprites, and some MC customization), and a portion of the script still needs to be properly edited and translated.

Is there any DLC plan for the game?

On top of the MM romance DLC, we plan on doing a marriage DLC (with a standalone storyline for each love interest) and a short prequel telling the story of Mellissandre of Terinfel. Both have been funded on Kickstarter, but I have no dates to give you yet.

How much the game will cost?

The final price is not completely set yet, but it will be somewhere between 20€ and 30€. 💸 After careful thought, I also decided I will do proper regional pricing. 🎉 I was dubious because I know a lot of people are abusing the system with VPN but I don't want to punish the people who actually benefit from it. 💖

On which platform will the game be available?

The game will be available on Steam, GOG, and Itchi.io; at the moment, we are working hard to make it completely Steamdeck compatible! At the moment, a switch port is not possible but not excluded; if the game does well enough, we might be able to get a special partnership for this.

A mobile port is not on the pipe either, as it would require a full UI overhaul and regular updates to comply with stores, and our economic model is not appropriate for the mobile market.

In which language will the game be available?

The game will be available in French and English on release day. At the moment, we do not have the budget to translate the full game into another language but we are looking for solutions to allow the most people possible to enjoy the game.

What is the game rating?

The game doesn’t have official ratings (that cost money), but considering the mature themes in it, I would say 17+. Imperial Grace includes verbal (but not visual) descriptions of violence and consensual sex.

The game, especially through the petitions, also alludes to topics that may be sensitive, such as arranged marriage or suicide. The list of full trigger warnings is available on steam (beware spoilers). It might be subject to change depending on the petitions we include or not in the final game, I want to make sure that every sensitive topic is treated with care and really brings something to the story or denounces a social problem close to our hearts.

Sexy time, you say? ��

The game features plenty of hot kisses and two optional sex scenes; they can be stopped (in game choices) and not happen at all or censored (fade to black). The text is explicit (anatomical parts are mentioned; it’s not all metaphor, but there is no vulgar words either.), and some suggestive but not pornographic images illustrate them. In other words, even the uncensored version of the sexy time will be safe enough to be streamed on Twitch but more steamy than what we usually find in otome games!

Is the MC customizable?

MC physical appearance is customizable to some extent: you can choose her skin color, her hairstyle, her eye colors (heterochromia possible!), and minor details like moles. The skin color options are not just recolors; the features are actually slightly different to reflect different ethnicities and bring more variety.

All customisation will be reflected in CG, except hairstyle (you can learn the difference between hairstyle and hair type on this post.)

What do you mean by “meaningful choices”?

Imperial Grace has over 200 choices during the main storyline; contrary to traditional Japanese otome game where there is usually a “good” and “bad” option for each choice leading to the best/good/bad ending, we have a more Dragon Age-like approach where most of the options are valid just entails different consequences to shape a more custom epilogue with tons of little variation to reflect your decision as Empress. (And there is instant game overs when you take very very bad decision :p)

Okay, so when it comes to having your period, Jacaerys will be the most mature and the one that panics the least. Jace knows what period is, and with the little knowledge he has about it he'll try to comfort you in any way he can. Probably will ask Rhaenyra a thing or two when he's not sure how to offer you his comfort, but most of the time he knows how to deal with it.

i loved how they showed eddie being kinda awful and really miserable and i would just have loooooved to see them do something with that!!! i wanted real character growth!!!!! we just get left off on a very unsatisfying place regarding their relationship and eddie's life In My Opinion. like sure they love each other we established that but it doesn't feel like they really got to grow out of the buddy-buddy bickering we got in ltbc and i know tld picks up right where ltbc left us so it's not like i was expecting some huge shift or for them to actually make symbrock canon but MAN I DON'T KNOW give us something at least

anyway the "we've been together for a year?" and the scenes with the family and venom saying eddie would be a good dad etc were all great but i still think we could've gotten more out of the movie. it just felt to me like they were building up to something and then it fucking ended. like what i thought was build up was the fucking climax of the movie. my mouth actually dropped when the title card appeared bc i really did not think they'd end it like that but they DID. THEY DID

although i'm mad as hell about them ending up separated i really liked their goodbye scene tom hardy truly is on another level bc how does he have chemistry with a fucking cgi alien. genuinely thought they were gonna smooch there for a second LMFAO it reminded me a lot of that insane sexually charged tom/austin scene in the bikeriders. crazy!

i'm not gonna talk too much about the plot itself bc i don't really love knull and the whole symbiote hivemind bs the last couple comic runs established so i knew going into it that it wasn't gonna appeal to me all that much but there are like . some inconsistencies lol but tbh the first two are also not all that great plot wise either so i won't hold it against tld too much

lastly i wish they'd have made venom give eddie his suit though, huge missed opportunity

overall i'm just feeling a little bittersweet because it's the last one and i'm sad i didn't love it :( i do need to digest it a little more and hopefully as more people watch it and talk about it i'll be reminded of the good parts and maybe my opinion will change

oh i also spotted a few comic parallels that i thought were pretty cool! eddie laying down venom-less in the middle of rubble and fire like that panel in cates' run, him waking up in the hospital without venom and probably others i can't remember rn lol

“Why? Do you want to study or something?” you asked, squeezing his hands as he bounced on the balls of his feet.

“No! I want to throw a party in honor of us getting together! I’ve liked you forever and I’m just so excited that this is finally happening! Like, I’m finally with you! I can hardly believe it!” he laughed loudly, pulling you into a hug that nearly broke your spine.

“Okay. You don’t invite too many people, okay?” you agreed, watching him nod enthusiastically with a stuttering heart.

“Of course! Thank you thank you thank you!” Kalim planted a big smooch right on your cheek before he ran into his next class, leaving you flustered in the middle of the hallway.

That’s how you ended up here, in the same Scarabia dining hall you’d been in many times before, this time with even more people now that your friends and the entire dorm were invited. You were having fun at first, especially with Kalim doting on you. Now that you were officially dating the Housewarden, Grim was spared the cracker treatment now that it had been passed onto you. Kalim kept passing dish after dish after dish for you to try, all with a beaming smile. They were all phenomenal, a true testament to how good Jamil’s cooking was. You were so anxious about coming to the party beforehand—so anxious, in fact, that’d you seriously considered not going in favor of staying back at Ramshackle Dorm. It was only when Kalim showed up to your dorm on his flying carpet, wearing his dorm uniform that you made up your mind. He was gentle and understanding as you explained your situation and why you weren’t exactly ready yet, even going so far as to ask if the party needed to be postponed.

“I could tell something was wrong when I saw you peeking out the window like that...usually you pull the curtain completely aside, but that time you were hiding most of your face. I’m glad it’s not because you’re in any danger though I wish you weren’t feeling anxious about this either.” he mused, tapping his chin thoughtfully, “I can help you get ready! I’m sure Jamil wouldn’t mind if we were a bit late.”

You were about to make a comment about how Jamil would probably be worried about him, but Kalim had already made up his mind.

“Yeah! Come on, I’ll help you get ready.” he yanked you into Ramshackle, rattling off a bunch of outfit ideas that you’d worn around him that he liked.

You just let him pull you along, your stomach twisting in knots as he put together outfits he thought you might like. Wracking your brain for the best possible outfits so you’d make a good first impression, you picked the one you like best and Kalim bolted out of the room to let you change. Once you were finished, he helped you with the jewelry you selected to go with the outfit, and even pinned a brilliant red flower pin in your hair. He kissed your cheek once he was done and then you were off.

You brushed your fingers over the flower pin, wondering how luxurious it was. Kalim had already spared no expense with this party of his, the decorations and food somehow more expensive looking than they’d ever been before. You knew his intentions were to make you feel important, but it only made you feel like you needed to act more proper. Did you put your form down wrong? When was the right time to eat? Did people think your posture was weird? No one was even paying attention to you besides Kalim, your friends, and Jamil as he occasionally exited the kitchen to make sure you were doing already.

You had a feeling he’d already picked up on most of your thoughts.

“Are you alright?” he murmured, setting down the refill you’d asked for.

Speak of the devil. You felt really guilty asking him for things, but he’d assured you that it was no problem. It’s what he was there for, he said. You wished you could hide away in the kitchen for a little while.

The room only seemed to be getting louder as Kalim stood up upon seeing your friends, rattling off some speech to them about how the two of you got together. Normally, you would have found this sweet, but the world was starting to spin around you at the added noise. He was holding your hand tightly and you could feel it getting sweaty, and it was only when you squeezed him tightly that he looked over at you. The conversation with your friends was immediately dropped upon seeing the expression on your face.

“I want to get away for a bit. Please.” you said, taking your hand out of his and sitting there awkwardly.

You hoped that didn’t offend him.

“Oh! Of course, would you like me to walk with you? I’ll take you to Jamil! The kitchen is nice and quiet so I think that would help.” he beamed, offering you his hand again when he stood up, “Nobody will even notice we’re gone, don’t worry. No one is looking at you.”

Relief surged through you at his reassurance. Once you were standing next to him, he placed his hand on your lower back and slowly pressed you in the right direction. His other hand had grabbed yours and was rubbing comforting circles on the burning skin.

You didn’t say anything until you made it out into the hall.

“I’m sorry.” you apologized almost immediately, “I’m sure you’ve put so much time and effort into this and it looked so beautiful but knowing it was all for me was a bit overwhelming. I’m sorry. I’ll try to be a little better next time.”

“What are you talking about? Even I get overwhelmed sometimes.” Kalim’s brow furrowed with worry, “So you don’t have to apologize, okay? I could tell you were nervous at Ramshackle so I’ve been keeping an eye on you, but I’m glad you told me.”

“Did...did you at least have fun?” you asked, unable to meet his gaze.

“Of course I had fun! I got to watch you try the desserts Jamil makes, and I got to see you eat a ton of dishes from my childhood, and you even tried my favorite coconut milk! I had a lot of fun with you.” he pressed a kiss to your forehead, patting your shoulder affectionately, “I’m happy you came here with me but you never have to. If it’s ever too intense, we can always hang out at Ramshackle. Or we can ride with Carpet! The possibilities are endless!”

You pulled him into your chest, hugging Kalim tightly. He hugged you back, giggling as he swayed on the spot.

“Thank you for telling me you were uncomfortable.” he murmured, kissing both of your cheeks with a smile, “Now let’s go check on Jamil! Once we’re done with that, I can take you into the sky and we can go to Ramshackle! I hope Grim will be happy to see me, maybe I should bring him some tuna...”

“You should.” you replied softly as Kalim began tugging you along again, nodding enthusiastically at your approval.

“One order of tuna and kisses for Grim and the Ramshackle Prefect!” he beamed, turning to face you once again.

Before you could ask what he was doing, Kalim kissed your forehead again.

first of all, i will never get tired of their push and pull antics. i love the burn of how jealous hyuck can be but at the same time oc makes sure she puts him in his place. he doesn’t own her but deep inside they know he does 🙂‍↕️ it’s interesting how hc “tries” to reason out that he can’t come to her or not flirt with his gf because he doesn’t realize that oc really has the upper hand here even if he’s the “determined” one.

Yeah he's lost in the sauce huh. I don't think it means he doesn't care about anything but I sure would like to give him some sort of option to heal. He needs to release those bottled up emotions with proper tlc or he'll explode like an instant pot.

With that said... as much as I love narilamb, one of the most important aspects of the gameplay for me is that you, as the player, have so much freedom of choice. You can be as benevolent or as cruel as you want, and can treat your followers (including the former antagonists) however you please. I'd love love love to have an option to explore the Lamb's relationship with Narinder more deeply in any capacity. But, I also adore the way the fandom has had such a variety of interpretations about how they interact with each other and evolve. If we do get the opportunity to romance him (beyond just the marriage ritual), I'd want this freedom of choice to be honored.

So, in that respect, I don't think narilamb needs to "become canon." Whether it is should be up to the player. If you want to take the enemies-to-friends-to-lovers route and smooch the fucked up catboy, more power to you. If you want to torment him for all eternity, go for it.

For those unaware, Gris & Dwayne is a series of stories about an asexual transgender man (Gris) and his queer, gray-ace wolf boyfriend (Dwayne).

Trusting & Tasting takes place after Gris & Dwayne: Opening Up. You can see the story order here. The character Krista was introduced in The Special Class, and I will copy-paste something I said about this story in the description of another G&D tale:

“Hey, I’m back, babe!”

Gris was pulled out of his anxious mind, and he looked up from his spot on the couch as his boyfriend, Dwayne, entered their home. The gray wolf smiled and walked up to Gris, smooching the top of the human’s head. “Good to see you, sweetheart,” Dwayne said.

“Good to see you too,” Gris said, tilting his head up so that the two could share a proper kiss. His lips met the wolf’s muzzle tenderly, and when they parted, he gave his boyfriend a smile. “How was your night?”

“It was really nice,” Dwayne told him, sitting next to him on the couch and putting an arm around the human. “Krista was amazing as always. I always enjoy our times together.”

Gris nodded. Ever since the he, Dwayne, and the genderqueer leopard Krista had shared a vorey night together, Dwayne & Krista had hit it off a bit, spending more than a few days together throughout the past few months. Gris & Dwayne had an open relationship, so this was a fine situation for all parties involved, but recently, Gris had felt certain thoughts nagging at the back of his mind about it. And they were currently back in his brain now.

The human took a deep breath. He remembered from his therapist that in times like these, he needed to share the emotions he was feeling, instead of trying to deal with them on his own. So he rested his head on Dwayne’s furry shoulder and said, “I’ve been feeling a little anxious lately. About Krista.”

“Oh yeah?” the wolf asked, sounding concerned.

“Yeah.” Gris sighed. “I know it’s stupid, but e is such an amazing person, and my brain keeps saying that e’s going to replace me. . .”

“That’ll never happen, I promise,” Dwayne vowed firmly, giving his boyfriend a loving squeeze. “And you know that if you don’t feel fully comfortable with me seeing em, I can always stop. I wouldn’t want to do something that you’re not 100% on-board with.”

“Well, e really likes you, so I don’t want to take you away from em,” Gris replied. “And I know it’s just my anxiety saying that stuff, that it’s not really going to happen. The problem is, I don’t know how to make those fears go away.” He groaned. “Ugh, why does this have to be so hard?”

“There, there,” Dwayne said, kissing him on the cheek. “I’m sure we can think of something. In fact. . .” His eyes lit up in a eureka moment. “I think I have an idea.”

“Oh yeah?” Gris asked. “What is it?”

“Why don’t you go spend some time with Krista?” the wolf suggested. Seeing his boyfriend’s raised eyebrow, the canine continued, “I don’t mean sleep with em or anything—I mean get coffee or dinner together, so you can have a space to get to know em. You haven’t spent nearly as much time with em as I have, and I think once you see the real em, those anxieties could go away.”

Gris thought for a minute, then said, “I think that could be good.” His finger tapped nervously against his leg, and he said, “I’m a bit scared to do it, but I think I should. It could really help.” He looked up at Dwayne. “Maybe you could give me eir number, and I can get in touch?”

“Sure!” the wolf agreed, pulling his phone out of his jeans pocket. “I’ll give it to you now.”

Gris took out his own cell, and he typed in the number as Dwayne recited it to him, putting it in his contacts. “I’m going to call em,” he decided, standing from the couch.

“Ok,” Dwayne agreed. “You want me to be with you, or. . .?”

“No, I want to do this myself,” Gris replied. “Be right back.”

The human walked down the hall into his work room, where he did his art commissions, and sat down at his desk. He got his fidget cube from a drawer, and played with it as he looked at his phone, thumb hovering over the number. After gathering his courage, he pressed it, and brought the phone up to his ear as it dialed Krista.

Three rings later, e picked up. “Hello?” Gris heard the leopard say. “Who is this?”

“Um, hi,” the human said, clearing his throat. “This is, um, Gris. Dwayne’s boyfriend?”

“Oh, hi!” Krista cheerily chirped. “Err, what’s up?”

“W-Well, Dwayne was suggesting the two of us get to know each other,” Gris told em. “You and him have gone out plenty of times, but the two of us haven’t interacted much. So . . . would you want to chat over dinner sometime?”

There was a pause, and Gris held his breath, feeling a ball of anxiety gathering in his chest. Then, he heard Krista answer him, saying, “S-Sure, let’s do that! Would tomorrow be ok?”

Gris let out a sigh of relief. “Yeah, tomorrow is fine,” he replied. “I’m free at 5. Would that be a good time?”

“Yep! You can choose the location—just text me the address, and I’ll be there, ‘k?”

“Yeah. Alright, I’ll see you tomorrow?”

“See you then. Bye!”

Gris hung up the phone. As he tried to think of a good place to go for dinner, his anxiety stirred, and he wondered if he was doing the right thing. Well, surely he was—if there was anything that would deal with his anxieties at the root, this was probably as close as he was going to get.

Hopefully, despite the fears forming in his mind, his time with Krista would go well.
