I think he is, but not in an "uwu baby" kind of way. The fandom seems to kinda woobify him a bit to the point where it's like his entire personality trait is just being cute and wholesome (which is not who he is at all), but I don't see him like that. He canonically does stuff that just makes you want to pick him up and hug him because it's so gosh darn adorable or because you feel bad for him, and that's where the "cinnamon roll" comment from me comes from. But this lovable little bean is also the same guy who unapologetically mugged an 8-year old and was more than okay with committing murder. He's not a cute wittle wholesome baby. He WILL fuck you up and he will feel neither sympathy for you nor regret for his actions. And considering he's regarded as one of the strongest Sonic characters on top of that, you really do NOT want to get on his bad side.

so i have a friend i've roleplayed with for many years now. i'll call her may. may is really cool and i love talking to her and roleplaying with her, she's a good friend on top of being a good roleplay buddy. even when we don't roleplay we brainstorm together and talk about our ocs

except that i really dislike the way she talks about one of her ocs. how do i put it? she basically baby talks to them, like "my silly wittle cinnamon roll baby uwu". the way you'd talk to your own cat

this is harmless, i don't even think it's inappropriate. it's simply a huge pet peeve of mine. it's grating and may does this almost every time they bring up this oc

i've put up with it for a few years. i tried politely avoiding the oc and may doesn't use them to roleplay with me, but it's one of her favorites so she talks about them very very often even when i don't show interest. despite my efforts i think sometimes my annoyance shows and i don't want her to think i hate her oc or something like that (i like them, just not the way she talks)

i've been thinking about just telling her to tone it down a little to make it more bearable
