I think it's starting to become clear that Daniel is in vcarb in 2025, even though I hate this team. But I'm happy to see Daniel's hater suffer. I hope he can return to a top team and finish with the sport as he hopes. I will be patient and wait to see him until then.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - vcarb is not a bad place for Daniel to be next year. Obviously they do not run with the efficiency of a top team but they’re clearly focused on working towards long-term success and they’re laying the foundation for a GOOD 2025

At first, Timmy was adamantly against the Pixies. He'd tell Jorgen every time he got a notice of their plans to take over Fairyworld, and work to stop it! But it gets a bit harder to resist against your own court the longer you hang out with them.

In the present time, Timmy schedules to be out of FairyWorld during their takeovers. He doesn't try to stop them, but also refuses to be anywhere near when it happens.

He... doesn't like how he's slowly starting to cheer for them. Or how their arguments are becoming more convincing. Or how he's struggling to recall why he was so against them to begin with.

There will come a point where he becomes an active participant. Timmy worries that it's coming sooner than he'd like.

I love all of the Primarch children content people make, especially the discussions about how potentially horrific the pregnancy would be for the baseline mother, and I wanted add my own little spin on it. So here's the pitch:

What if they weren't perfect? What if, instead of superhuman demigods like their father - or even a normal, healthy baseline like their mother - the Primarch’s child is a weak and sickly little thing; the natural gestation process having been unable to properly compensate for the extraordinary weirdness that is Primarch genes?

'Cause, they were made in a lab, right? With each gene painstakingly implemented and worked to compensate for oneanother in order to create a viable being. So, what if without outside intervention their genes just can't healthily gel with a baseline's?

So, what the couple had thought was the baby sapping their mother of her vital nutrients to fuel a Primarch's level of growth and strength was actually their baby fighting tooth and nail to develope at all. And even after having taken such a steep toll on their mother's health, the child still comes out small and underdeveloped, barely clinging to life.

That's it, that's the idea. Primarchs with chronically ill and disabled children because of their fucked up genes. Send tweet.

The thing I really fucking love about Dungeon Meshi's ending is that it has the perfect set up for a generic fantasy divine right of kings angle, both by conquest and blessing bestowed by the previous monarch. People make those arguments on page, it really looks like that's where it going. And then the story swerves on them. Like nah, mate. If that helps convince some people, great, but none of that can make him a head of state.

What puts Laios on the throne is the respect and good will he personally earned from a diverse coalition of the communities he'd be governing, and the willingness of more established foreign powers to recognise and legitimate his government. Now that's fucking politics, baby.

Some grocery stores and restaurants in the suburbs were still open, donating what they could to emergency workers and people in need. The hotels in the area that could still function were operating as shelters for people who'd lost their homes, government officials working around the clock to get people to safety by whatever means possible.

Hospitals were full—people were being transported to neighboring cities as far north as Westopolis when supplies had run low and healthcare workers couldn't keep up with the demand. Loved ones were separated, entirely by accident, in the cases where individuals couldn't be identified. Phones were ringing off the hook as people tried to find news of friends and families' whereabouts, many of them merely waiting for the same confirmation Amy was.

So it was the perfect time to put her plan into motion.

Because if Amy Rose had time to worry, then she also had time to do what she did best. Help people.

I need a whole fic where the Cerritos is mistaken for the Enterprise by some type of alien with very high intelligence but very poor visual recognition, for whatever reason.

And Freeman either can't or is too scared to convince them that they're not the Enterprise, so she starts desperately assigning everyone to various roles. Boimler gets assigned as Data, and since he and Mariner are the only people on the ship who play string instruments, the captain orders them to put together some sort of "symphony" because the aliens have heard that that's a thing on the Enterprise.

And it's just Mariner and Boimler frustratedly trying to figure out how to combine her electric guitar skills and his traditional violin skills into something suitably "symphonic" (i.e. thematically trying to combine her more lax/modern way of doing things with his more strict/traditional way).
