the worst thing about me is that i actually hate movie streaming sites. not bc i think piracy is wrong btw its just that i have a 40 inch televison and feel like its fucking stupid to watch a movie on a 14 inch laptop screen when theres a big ass tv in the room and also streaming sites require wifi which is immediately a handicap. i need those torrents. you need to give me those .avi and .mkv and .mp4 files guys. i am not fucking watching that movie on splinky.blinky.ie i am buying a dvd player

I just want something very simple from a video editor. I don’t want special effects and whatnot, I only care about two (2) things:
- mkv support (along with other video files, but it’s this one I find it’s the hardest to find support of)
- the ability to clip and mix videos and put music over them
That’s it. Just that. Two simple things. I don’t care about cool effects and transitions that overload the whole system, I just want to make stupid crack videos. Fuck me if I ever find a software that does just that simple thing.
#lillpon rambles#fuckin Windows Movie Maker was simple enough to do that#when it didn't crash after 5 minutes of use#the rest is way too complicated for me

Cut Assistant download
If you are of course so disciplined and always save everything and also switch off the laptop correctly every time, you do not need hibernation. You will then save a few GB of storage space on your hard drive.
This has become possible thanks to the dithering effect. Dark areas become lighter and vice versa. Hotkeys - Ctrl + F12 to take a screenshot, Ctrl + R to rotate an object; 'Edit selected sprite' option in the wizard key; Add motion in a loop, i.e. Create a closed curve; place a cursor on the timeline (to display a specific frame or time). At this point, the only version available online is free. Okay, we cut corners here and say that the only thing that could be better about this video editing software is its not particularly attractive interface. That being said, Avidemux is an impressive movie maker program for everything you want for video editing. It is incredibly easy to use and contains an enormous amount of editing functions such as filters, transition effects and similar features. To check the settings, right-click on a drive in Explorer and select the context menu command Properties. In the drive's properties window, go to the Tools tab and then click the Optimize button. Windows 10 changes some settings for the semi-annual function updates, which are upgrades, even if Microsoft calls them 'updates'. This switches functions off or on again. That is definitely not the case. Always these ancient tips that have no meaning today. Microsoft has even renamed the option "Optimize drives". I don't even know where Stefan_L wants to put “Defrag” on because this option is no longer available. And if you disable commands like TRIM, this leads to an undesirable deterioration in performance. The video editor includes tools for converting video and audio files from one format to another. Convert directly from MP4 to VOB (DVD-Video), AVI, MKV, MOV and 1000+ other formats.
I would also be interested to see if you follow the other "old" tips these days.
More detailed audio tools, you can combine and export videos in a variety of different formats, which are compatible with all websites, social media and even games and consoles.
Give Trimcheck more time, This takes a little while with some SSDs and may also cache something.
Added basic effects window with main adjustment effects, RGB and YUV curves and quick rotation tools available in a control panel.
Did you install this stupid magician and possibly activated RAPID? Then it will probably not be read from the SSD, but from the RAM cache. The developer recommends restarting Windows when in doubt. The old tips are for the ancient SSDs that were very, very slow when slicing small files, the new ones are very fast, but RAM is still faster than any SSD, so I wouldn't change anything. Small, easy-to-use command line tool to test the TRIM functionality for SSD hard drives. About 20 seconds should pass between the two program starts. Sometimes the system has to be restarted before the tool attests to the success of TRIM. Windows 10 license for as little as 35 euros. Lizengo has new download software at unbeatable prices, e.g. Windows 10 Home for € 35.99. and that will fill you up, take the autostart out and it's good. and start here and there by hand.
your phone app now with your background image
Ten years of Windows 7 - time to say goodbye Win-7 support was launched on January 14th. With the current MediaMarkt offers, you can put Windows 7 into retirement. Fortunately, Windows is perfectly capable of trimming and splitting different videos, but getting there is not as easy as you might think. Instead of customizing each individual option yourself, the "Themes" option on the top bar of the window lets you choose different themes. This will choose filter, music and text styles that are try these guys out work — complete with preview videos that will show you how you will look. In the storyboard area you can click the speaker icon and choose a volume for each individual video.

I had a good week. .ico files are now supported, 'collect by' status is remembered in gui sessions, and I fixed a bunch of bugs.
duplicate overhaul plans
I started the duplicate overhaul work this week with some planning and experimentation with existing data. My original thought here had been to exactly replicate existing functionality just with a more efficient database schema, but having gone through the various edge-case insertion and merge operations, I believe the current system is overcomplicated for what we are actually using it for.
Most of all, the current system tries to form a chain of 'better/worse' comparisons so all dupes within a 'same file' group are ranked with each other. A decent number of human decisions are needed to determine this ranking, but the data is currently not displayable, and we haven't really noticed that absence. For most practical circumstances, what we really want to determine is what files should actually be considered dupes, and which of those groups is then the best. Most users delete the 'worst' of a pair in any case. Supporting a system that simply tracks a group of duplicates with a single King is more intuitive and reliable, and it is quicker to work with.
This 'King of a group' idea also maps nicely to how we use 'tag siblings'--having a complicated tree or chain of worst tag to best is not as useful as simply replacing all the lesser members of a group with the King as needed. When I get to overhauling tag siblings, I expect to make a similar change.
But in the meantime, for duplicates, I now have a plan. I expect to spend a few more weeks filling out the full details in code, and then I will switch us all over. The existing workflows should remain the same, just with fewer and easier comparisons. I will not do much specific work on file alternates, but they will be feasible to start on once the db overhaul is done. I will also continue to put time into the duplicate filter ui itself. Overall, I feel good about it all. I'd like the whole thing to be done within 8-12 weeks.
otherwise all misc this week
.ico files should now be supported! .cur files (which are basically the same) should work as well.
'collect by' settings are now, finally, saved in page sessions! If your default collect by settings include any ratings services, they will be forgotten on update, so you will have to reset them in options->sort/collect this one time.
I fixed the stupid issue where media viewer hover windows were popping up over manage tags and some other dialogs. This was due to a flaw in the changes from the new always-on-top duplicate hover panel--I apologise for the inconvenience. Some related OS X specific weirdness should be cleaned up as well.
The 'unclose_page' shortcut (default Ctrl+u) now uncloses pages in the correct order!
When a media fits the media viewer exactly (so 100% zoom fits the width or height exactly), the 'zoom switch' action (default 'z') now correctly restores back to 100%!
'open externally' should work better for some custom program paths. The flash projector (for .swf files) was opening without an ui, for instance. If you have had other programs seem to open in the background from open externally calls, please give them another go and let me know if they now work for you.
full list
the client now supports importing .ico files! (.cur should be supported too)
finally, 'collect by' is saved for sessions! if your default collect by previously included ratings services, it will forget them this one time--please reset it under the options->sort/collect
fixed the issue where the media viewer's hover windows were hovering over child dialogs (manage tags, ratings, or known urls)
improved some os x hover window focus handling for the new always-on-top duplicate action window
the entries on the 'sort by' list on gui pages are now subcategorised better. it should be a bit easier to find what you are looking for
the 'sort by file: approximate bitrate' sort option now sorts still images as well by filesize / num_pixels
to reduce confusion, sort by mime and system:mime are now renamed to 'filetype'
fixed an issue where the 'unclose_page' shortcut was restoring pages in reverse order (unclosing least-recently-closed-first rather than most-recently-closed-first)
improved rigour of video framerate estimation
stopped the video metadata parser from opting to manually frame count videos with size >128MB or num_frames estimate >2,400
fixed the forced manual frame count to deal with frame counts >9999
the 'ffmpeg not found' error on file import will now put up a popup message once per boot informing you of this problem more broadly and steps to address it
fixed some underreporting issues with subprocess_report_mode
fixed an issue with some yes/no dialogs returning 'no' on escape/window_close_button rather than 'cancel', which affected cancelability some db maintenance questions
fixed an issue where media that fitted the media viewer canvas width or height exactly at 100% zoom would not respond to zoom switch events to restore non-100% zoom to 100%
when a local server's CORS mode is turned on, Access-Control-Allow-Origin is now correctly added to GET/POST requests with an Origin request header
improved reliability of some timestamp rendering code, which should help some users who had trouble opening cookies management page after malformed cookie import
I believe I fixed an issue with 'open externally' on certain custom paths where the external program could spawn without an ui (flash projector did this). please let me know if your 'open externally' calls start making terminal windows everywhere
fixed a runtime stability issue with the new duplicates page and slow-updating counts that come in after the page has been deleted
next week
Next week is an 'ongoing' week, where I work on a medium-sized improvement to an existing system. I think I would like to put some time into my 'background file maintenance' plans, unifying the current prototype systems into one that runs nicely in idle time and adding some ui controls for it. There are several pending file-reparsing jobs I would like to queue up (e.g. checking mkvs vs webms with modern file parsing code, and apng discovery, scheduling background thumbnail regen, and fixing bad old frame counts and durations), and if I want to integrate videos into the duplicates system, I'll need a better framework here to schedule that retroactive CPU work. Otherwise I have a couple little cleanup jobs to be getting on with, and I'll start some new duplicates db code.

I think there’s a lot of misinformation going around about torrenting anime. The other day I asked a friend mine why [when legally streaming is not an option] he chooses to illegally stream anime (kissanime, gogoanime, etc.) instead of torrenting anime. He said “Cause most torrents are only in 240p, and even if I felt like that’s fine, torrenting gives you a better chance of getting a virus and a better chance of getting arrested.” And I was baffled, I couldn’t believe he wasn’t joking. Like, every word he said is not actually true.
1) That 240p fact may have been true back in 2003, but at that time, streaming was an even shittier option. Currently, and for several years now, torrenting has brought video and audio quality far closer to Blu-Ray quality than streaming ever has. The only streaming site that I can say even comes close is Crunchyroll, and that’s only if you have a premium account. Even when sites like kissanime claim to have HD anime, it’s usually only in 720p. And even when it’s not, it still has a low bit rate and watermarks, so the quality still looks pretty bad. They mainly do this to avoid copyright bots, by making the video look as different from the original source as possible while still being viewable.
2) Torrenting is honestly safer for your computer as long as you’re smart. The only real way to easily get a virus is to either download a torrent with an ass-ton of leechers, which you’d have to be stupid to do, because every site shows you how many leechers there are before you download it. Or you stupidly download like a .exe file or some other kind of file that’s obviously not what it says it is. But as long as you’re looking for .mp4s, .avis, and .mkvs, you should be fine. The third possibility is you click on one of those fake download buttons on ads. But that depends on the torrent site. On nyaa.si for example, Adblock works fine, so you usually don’t end up seeing any. And even with Adblock off, the adware isn’t nearly as shitty as on other sites like kissanime. And kissanime is even worse because it won’t let you use Adblock. And the adware only gets worse every time you use it, unless you want to like clear your cookies or something.
3) Torrenting doesn’t have a high chance of getting caught. Like smoking weed, the ones who get caught are usually the ones who do it to an absurd extent. And don’t think you’re legally in the right because you illegally stream, you’re still pirating. “Oh yeah but I mean I’m not downloading it so it’s different.” Yes, you are downloading it. Just about everything that appears on your browser has to be stored as data at some point, the difference is that it’s immediately deleted once you’re done with it.
