i gave the wayfinder a bit of a redesign cause i felt like her old mask may have been a bit clunky, so here’s a quick sketch showing off the new digs! her mask is still broken up into 3 pieces, but is held together magnetically by the visor - each piece can be worn separately, and each has an important purpose (top section mainly intimidation factor lol, middle section is audio and visual processor that translates alien languages and scans area for threats/makeup of landscape respectively, bottom section dimensional translator and oxygen tank plus intimidation factor)

also i updated the purpose of her extra arms - they’re semi-sentient permanent arm braces after a serious injury in the nightmare realm

One of the things that Seokju prides himself with, in the silent privacy of his own mind where they can't be teased or judged for it, is their apparent youth. They're more up to date regarding what today's youth enjoys almost exclusively via his niece.

He also appears among the younger elements of his station, either because they are young, or because he has a youthful appearance about themselves aided almost exclusively by large eyes and easy smile.

Does not mean, though, that he has what it takes to battle a child not even a decade old when it comes to technology.

And throwing age into the mix here is an excuse as well.

In all likelihood, the kind tech expert currently fixing his problem is probably around their age herself, and she's clearly mastered handling this with the ease Seokju makes his coffee blindly each morning.

They're simply... inept.

Credit where credit is due, though: the smile they offer in response is more amused than sheepish.

"I don't keep a lot of important stuff there, anyway," he tries to deflect. It's not even a lie, really. The station is about as outdated as he is, physical copies are much preferred by their seniors, and the computers there are perfectly functional for what they need them for.

This laptop here, well...

Would it be difficult to believe it was simply provided for the sake of creating expenses to justify the need for a given sum of money for the station to receive?

Seokju is lawful, not disillusioned.

He hovers, trying to understand whatever is going on on the screen. "Thank you for being so cool about this, by the way," the smile comes even easier now, sincere. It's not every day you put yourself on the spot without the spot judging or reacting in any way odd. Sure, the undertone in her question reveals some sort of judgment, but can she be blamed?

"I'm guessing it wouldn't be common practice to tip you for this, right...?"

Wanted to post these separate from my Art Fight post because I spent too long on these references (really just Fallstreak's tbh) to keep them hidden away on the AF site. Also cause I love these guys and I haven't really talked about them much on here.

So for anyone who was curious about the previous art I posted of these OCs, have some actual information about them!

Nell

Full name Abnell Roache (will also accept 'Nella', but loathes being called 'Nelly'). A health and safety inspector for an interstellar cargo company, Nell becomes stranded on an ocean planet when the ship she's auditing- the ACS Endurance- experiences a catastrophic engine failure and tears itself in two.

Adrift on an endless alien sea with no guarantee of rescue and little emergency food, she has to survive with the help of Bas: an (illegal) AI inhabiting the chassis of her life pod's survival assistant. With her only goals being survival and finding any other survivors, she's unprepared to find herself making humanity's first contact with another sapient species; an alien biologist named Fallstreak who has also found himself trapped on the planet. 

She's thrilled to learn about Fallstreak and his people, as well as teach him as much as she can about humanity, and if she has an immediate, massively obvious crush on the tall faceless alien? Well, the only other person there to complain is Bas. Which he does. A lot.

Bas (Pronounced 'Baz')

An illegal AI inhabiting the chassis of a life pod survival assistant (though to clarify, in this universe all true AI are illegal because they require a human brain scan to be made and that's a legal rights nightmare). After years of only knowing his 'father', Richter (the engineer aboard the Endurance who purchased and programmed him), he boots up to find his home destroyed, his father dead, and himself in the company of a total stranger; Nell. 

He has a lot to deal with: keeping Nell alive, figuring out how to interact with someone other than Richter while also mourning his death, and acting as a middle-man/interpreter between Nell (who he has rapidly developed what seem to be romantic feelings towards) and Fallstreak (an alien biologist who's captured Nell's interest without even knowing what he has). 

And to top it all off? He has a text-to-speech Australian accent.

Fallstreak

An alien biologist with a bio-mechanical body, named after the cloud formation (look up 'Fallstreak holes', they're neat!) that most closely resembled an event that occurred on the day of his birth.

Extremely curious and wants to learn everything about his two new companions, as well as share his knowledge with them. Verbal language is all but entirely unused by his species, however, so the language barrier between Fallstreak and Nell+Bas is a large one. Thanks to Bas' assistance, he's able to understand spoken communication fairly well, and speaks (in very broken sentence structure) by vibrating the membranes in his gill openings, resulting in a voice that sounds somewhat like early English vocaloids; understandable but clearly not a natural voice.

Living a fairly solitary life isn't uncommon for his species, and he hasn't had the opportunity to experience romantic interest before, so when he meets Nell and begins to fall for her, he's more than a little confused (oblivious) about what his emotions are doing. Unfortunately draws some jealous ire from Bas as a result, but is pretty oblivious to the AI's attempted rivalry.

All three of these guys are from a WIP comic called The Rive that I hope to finish some day. I have most of the story figured out, and quite a bit of it scripted and ready to go, I just need to actually draw the damn thing.

Ok I just binged all of Renegade Nell, and holy shit!!!!!

There was so much diversity, the plot was intriguing, the setting and time period was cool, the costuming was STUNNING, the acting was superb, the dynamics among characters felt so real and intricate (and as someone with two younger sisters, relatable AF)

I noticed so many Shakespearean references and allusions, like Sofia was so lady M coded, or how the traveling players were performing the tempest.

Also I ADORED Polly as a character, yes she was ditsy and silly but she was also helpful and kind. And she was down bad for Nell (tbh me too). Idk if There’s a ship name for them yet but I like Pollynell 💕

everyone seems so sure that nell is a recast of holly but i truly don’t see it tbh…. she’s not giving holly wheeler vibes To Me. seems funny (weird) to recast her Now (as if the other child actors haven’t also grown far past their canon ages) and then Also style her so distinctly different than we’ve seen holly before. the high pigtails to low ones, the muted/pastel colors to bright ones… if it really were holly, wouldn’t they want to definitively convey that by styling her in a way that balanced how different she would already look being played by a different actor? idk man!!! maybe i’m very wrong!!! but. i just don’t buy it

💚 your safety, well being, health, etc is sooooo important to her. She just wants the best for you all the time.

💚 Compliments and words are not her strong suit, and she often comes off way more aggressive than she tends too.

💚 Ex: "Are you crazy??? You risked your hide for something that stupid? Do you realize how hurt you could have gotten???"

💚 She always means well, but some of that "gladiator agression" lingers with her.

💚 she struggles opening up to you and has a bad habit of bottling up her emotions. And sometimes she gets caught in her head with frustration.

💚 the more she realizes that bottling up her feelings not hurts her, but you as well, she completely 180's.

💚 Also, Farmer Em is cannon in my heart. And oh yes she shares her crops with you.

💚 no matter how many times you ask her to "do her worst" when y'all do mock combat, she will always "go easy" on you. She knows your strong, she really just doesn't want to hurt you.

💚 PDA is a big no for her, and even when you two are alone, she isn't always up for hugs or cuddles. To me, her love language is Acts of Service.

Haha this is a fun one to think about.

Unfortunately, I think Gloriam had to be invited because of her family name - Hector + Cleopatra were all for not inviting her, but like it was a pretty big snub if they didn't invite her and invited all the other families. I can see Gloriam trying to proposition Max prior to the wedding - maybe even with Protesilaus. being 👀 👀 and Max being like: please don't. She didn't catch the bouquet, but not for lack of trying.

Max... I hc him being Hector's best man and I think he probably was okay for the most part (or at least he deluded himself into being okay with the idea.) Except when Hector & Cleopatra left for their honeymoon, he was not very okay.

For the most part, everything went well. Max even got to dance with Hector a few times. (At least one of those times was because he NEEDED to avoid Gloriam)

BONUS idea - for those who think the idea of Max/Hector/Cleopatra is pretty funny:

There was an incident near the end of the reception - these people were tipsy, if not drunk by this point.

Maybe Cleopatra's dress got caught on something. Or her heel was stuck. Hector was like, "I got this". He did not in fact have this.

This was a two person job. Max had to help.

Maybe they'd have dealt with this super quickly if they weren't so drunk.

But just as she's free, someone walks in on them and it's certainly a scene without any context. Their cheeks are red from alcohol, clothes are a bit messy, hair coming loose... etc.

It's probably Gloriam tbh.

Max is the first to react and just slams the door shut. Cleopatra & Hector immediately burst into laughter.

2. Jen & Jack (Dawson's Creek). Dating myself here but I was obsessed with this teen drama as a teen. I've not really rewatched it since then because I'm afraid it will not live up to my nostalgic memories (though to be fair it started sucking so badly around S5 that I dropped it at the time and only tuned back in for the last episode lol). Anyway is there anything more beautiful than the friendship between a gay guy and his fag hag bestie? They were the cutest I love them both so much. I love how this show was so consistent in the way it portrayed their friendship. they were ride or die. I WANT WHAT THEY HAVE

3. Gaius & Merlin (lol). Okay I agonised over the last one but I couldn’t think of a better duo (sorry women 😔). I'm sure there are others I can't remember right now, but I do love them to be honest so why not them. I might have mentioned it before on my side blog but their relationship is probably my favourite in the show. I like the Chosen Family trope, okay? And I love that their relationship was important, in the show. They care so much about each other and it comes up time and time again. And their dynamic is fascinating, they're so similar in some ways and completely different in others. Immovable object vs unstoppable force. Thick as thieves, a pair of liars. As I once said—they lie so much, to other people, to themselves and to each other. And I think that's beautiful. Grey morality ❤

a ship that might surprise others: can't think of any tbh. I'm sure there are fics I've read that might surprise others, but only because I do check out a bit of everything if the premise sounds interesting enough to me, even with ships that are a bit out there. Daniel "Danny" Anthony Hope

Son of two iconic broadway lesbians, Vanessa & Lucinda Hope (not married because it's not legal but Lucinda changed her last name to match her wife and son)

Vanessa Hope (bio mom) is from Ohio, she was doing community theatre in Columbus when Danny was born (and meets Josh St James, they become very close even though she's a bit older)

She went through a very very messy breakup with Danny's father (he was extremely financially and verbally abusive, sometimes physically, leaves him because he hit infant Danny to make him stop crying, during the process she realizes she’s a lesbian), which leads to her moving to New York, auditions for a broadway show on a whim but gets it and quickly becomes theatre icon status, changes her last name from Corcoran to Hope as part of restarting her life, meets Lucinda soon after

(also Danny and Vanessa both have restraining orders against Danny's bio father)

Danny has known Josh for his entire life, he hasn't been to Ohio since Vanessa moved them to New York but Josh regularly comes to New York to visit Nell, young Jesse (when Johanna still lived in New York), and Vanessa & Danny, he's somewhere between a cool uncle and much older brother to Danny

Danny is following in his moms' footsteps, he's done some ensemble broadway roles before but has just started his first major role, playing Tony in Sweeney Todd (fun cast, his moms are playing Lovett and Lucy, Roman Kline is playing Anthony)

But soon after he turns 15 (roughly the start of glee season 2), he loses his virginity to a theatre acquaintance (who is ~18 at the time), who films it without Danny knowing, leaks the tape, and outs Danny on a major scale – the video got spread all over social media and tabloids, his moms sued so many people for possession and distribution of child pornography (he was 15, the other guy was 18, he’s now in jail for 7 years over it) – it's the first time that Roman has actually acted as a lawyer since getting licensed but he represents Danny, the whole thing becomes a huge media circus because it becomes a huge precedent case about tabloids and news outlets and revenge porn/sharing private images and videos etc

But the whole situation takes a significant toll on Danny's mental health, and he's dealing with insane amounts of harassment and stalking from paparazzi so for his safety, he ends up moving to Lima to live with Josh for a while. He's enrolled at Dalton which is a bitch of a commute but it’s Ohio and he was just very publicly and traumatizing outed so the no bullying policy is a huge win; he does end up eventually transferring to McKinley either after the Slushy Incident in season 3 (details iffy on that because Sebastian and Klaine are more tensely civil in this verse) or because of Hunter shit in season 4

Ship is tbd, Blaine is very much a big brother to him (people keep adopting him tbh), also has a huge crush on Sebastian when they first meet but it doesn't go anywhere, Sebastian becomes his over protective big brother instead

Roman and Cooper were his gay awakening when he was 12 (he had never thought he liked girls but didn’t realize he *liked boys* until then), he met Roman when he was doing a stint on Broadway with one of his moms and then met Cooper on opening night

And it’s going to be a Kurt & Klaine friendly story (noteworthy because it's not typical of me), Kurt is his big brother too and is very protective of this kid (who is only a year younger than him but feels *so* young when they first meet and reminds Kurt too much of himself; also Kurt knew about the outing situation and posted so many scathing social media posts condemning everyone who watched, shared, or mocked it and everyone who harassed him after)

everyone just calling him Klaine’s son all the time (Danny: I’m only a few months younger than Blaine wtf? / Blaine: nope sorry you have two lesbian moms and two gay dads now love you kid / Danny: 🥺🥺🥺 love you too)

he used to be a total social butterfly and very confident and chill and just happy but becomes extremely withdrawn and anxious and shy after the whole outing situation, struggles to get close to anyone after that (but no one is immune to his fluffy hair and puppy eyes and he keeps getting adopted anyways)

also his moms spend a lot of time visiting him in Lima and might end up moving there once it's clear that this is the best place for Danny to be, tbd

bonus characters: Kathryn Hahn as Vanessa Corcoran Hope, Patti Lupone as Lucinda Hope, and Aubrey Plaza as Danny's unnamed therapist in Lima

also technically named after Danny Zuko and Anthony Hope but Vanessa choosing Hope as a new last name wasn't about the Sweeney Todd reference, it was about Danny being her hope and about her hope for a new life after leaving her ex/moving to New York

Just realised that I bought some ghosts from The York Ghost Merchants at the beginning of October and didn't even TELL y'all about them.

Well, that changes now. 👻

1. This is Nell, named after both Eleanor Crain and a character of my own. She does a very good job of guarding some of my acting tomes. It's the little smile that really sold her for me.

2. This is Oz, named after another of my characters. He also guards my (boo)ks (most of them do tbh). Really like how the artwork on him looks a bit like theatre curtains, as well as the glinting yellow eyes.

3. This one is Quartz. Quartz is just very snazzy. No backstory in particular as of yet, but I love the cracked marble effect. Very ominous, but also a lovely hint of lilac to balance things out.

4. This is Evergreen. Again, no particular backstory at the moment, but this was the first ghost I chose because I just love the colours and the paint splatter effect. Also, incredible balancing act there.

5. And finally, there's (sigh) this one.

This is Boochard, because of course.

Boochard lurks around behind my laptop looking dramatic when I'm recording. Well, I suppose it's hard NOT to look dramatic when you're decorated like that.

So, there ya go! GOOSTS.

I really hope they've brought you even a fraction of the joy they bring me on a daily basis. ❤️

That WIP ask game is seriously an underrated concept tbh, authors should be able to air out their works and ideas if they want to, even if those are unfinished.

Since I've been bugging you a little about MH I think I have to ask about the Monster Hunter Derelict WIP. MH Is an interesting setting for sure, but it's also hard to think of something to write in it, except maybe a dnd-like hunter party? Anyway, I'm rambling, definitely interested what you had going on There.

Also, I'm a filthy cheater and a sucker for time-themed fiction, so I definitely have to ask about Whatever Time May Bring. Feel free to ignore my filthy cheater double request tho

I agree! Being able to show off stuff we're working on without perfection being expected is super fun because I can pick out highlights and hold it up without needing to go "is this polished enough to be read?"

Since one is sort of a mini-fic that's an AU me and one of my close friends are messing around with for the funnies I'll answer both of your requests! I'm giggling and rubbing my hands together.

Monster Hunter Dereliction is the working title of a DMC MonHun AU that centers around a small Guild outpost in the Old World that pretty much has its shit figured out due to there not being many settlements in the area that need to be protected. My friend and I went "fuck it minimal family loss trauma in this department" so a lot of the cast is Around(tm) except for Sparda(we haven't decided what happened to him yet if anything).

There's sort of a plot figured out, though most of it's up in the air because we haven't had too much of a chance to talk more thoroughly about it and are just in the brainstorming department. We really just wanted to come up with our own biomes and monster designs for fun. It would involve a clash between two Elders breaking open a crevice in the earth that reveals an underground cavern system- and unknowingly awakening an Elder that has almost cosmic horror-esque traits to it. There's a sketch but it's not mine so I'd have to ask my friend later if he'd be cool with me sharing it.

For a little insight into some character placements, since I'm a bit obsessive about how lore in MonHun goes xD I won't go into what everyone is doing but I will share a handful.

I don't have much in way of writing, since I just got a few key ideas down- but have at it!

I think we decided Dante was the master in that area? He's mostly chilling around the outpost unless something super dangerous comes up that he's needed for.

Vergil is a high-ranking hunter who tends to do tasks for the Scholars that takes him into dangerous areas for the challenge and potential to explore old ruins. He's in and out of the outpost a lot on a whim so unless he's requested specifically good luck finding him.

Nero is an established hunter who tends to get a little babied by the others, which leads to him being more adamant about pushing his limits to prove himself and get them to stop worrying.

Eva regularly travels, recording locales and monsters in general peace.

Kyrie acts as the guild sweetheart for the location, handling quest assignments and making sure the hunters are properly prepared.

Credo is one of the residing guild knights, which is a rank in the guild that handles upholding guild regulation and deciding on punishment for anyone caught illegally poaching monsters.

Nell is the residential smithy! She's been training Nico for a long time now to take over in the future.

For now Nico tends to tag along behind Nero on a lot of hunts to observe them, swipe some new materials for herself, and experiment with equipment that diverts away from standard expectations.

Patty is a guild sweetheart in training, if I remember right? I only wrote her name in all caps in this post-it note and nothing else fdsgfbsdxjkgbj

Dante’s late to leave his room today, not expecting too many requests to come in if any. It’s been quiet since they’d sorted out the sudden influx of larger wyverns that had migrated South from their own territories. Which isn’t a good sign. It could mean something bigger is on the way soon. However nothing’s turned up. So to him the problem’s been solved. The peace lasts about as long as expected though, because the door pushes open without so much as a knock from the incoming visitor. It’s Lady. Not even in her armor yet but scowling as if she’d just gotten tossed around by a Diablos. “Where’s your fucking brother?” “Not even a good morning?” Dante yawns. “Passed morning a few hours ago.” Lady crosses her arms and leans against the doorframe “Now about Vergil-“ “Do I look like my brother’s keeper?” When It’s obvious Lady isn’t accepting that as an answer he groans and rests his feet on his desk “Out. On an expedition. That’s why one of the aptonoth aren’t in the stable. He’s North, checking out whatever caused that Wyvern displacement. Should be back in a few days.”

Vergil lingers by the ledge of the massive crevice, peering into the darkness to see faint shimmers of light that waver as if moving. It’s odd. With most of the trees decimated there should be plenty of sunlight shining down to show whatever’s down there. The darkness opens its eyes. Swirling colors and glowing light as faint pupils shrink to paper-thin slits when they focus on him. From the positioning of them Vergil isn’t sure if he’s looking face-to-face with a creature or with multiple. He doesn’t recognize any visible traits and stumbles away from the ledge. There’s a snapping noise and Vergil looks back to see the aptonoth has broken her binds in her attempt to flee, taking all of Vergil’s gear with her as she disappears into the treeline. A rattling, warbling noise that resembles a broken horn echoes loud enough that it hurts Vergil’s ears. He covers them with his hands and regrets not bringing earplugs. Something cold enough to leech the temperature through his armor wraps around his ankle, and drags him into the crevice. He grasps at the rock. His gloves dig in and he struggles to grab his blade. It slips from his hands and he falls with it. Darkness engulfs his vision made to feel darker by the eyes that fill his peripheral. One more eye, larger than all the others, opens up in front of him to blot out his last view of the sun.

Nero’s the first to volunteer and the first to be ready to depart. He shuffles about, fretting over what equipment to take and how long of a trip it will be. “Don’t you dare authorize that mission.” Credo objects, smacking his hand on the table “There’s no telling how long he’ll be gone, and if there is a wyvern strong enough out there to take Vergil down then I don’t feel comfortable sending him out.” “He’s qualified. Just as capable as the rest of us.” Dante insists “You need to stop babying him or he’ll never get his feet under him.” “How dare you accuse me of coddling one of our hunters?” “You’re not really beating the allegations. Especially since he’s got a crush on your sister.” “Do not-“ Nero objects. Dante stares, raises an eyebrow, and Nero clicks his tongue. Nero looks away while his cheeks flush red.

NOW onto-

Whatever Time May Bring. You have sniffed out the ONE NASNAH part that I think you're going to love the most, because it takes place when Nero's 15 and a certain 8 year old girl finds her way into Dante's life. It skims through the anime timeline and a bit beyond, since for reasons not yet revealed in the plot Dante decides to keep Vergil and Nero out of most of the details of his demon hunting work. It's a scene compilation like how "In Leaps and Bounds" was for little Nero. It's also finally the time where Nero starts questioning his family's behavior and secrets more than before.

Vergil watches the ensuing exchange with all of his attention he can muster. There’s something comedic about a young child pushing Dante to wits’ end when Nero at that age earned nothing but Dante’s adoration. He then notices Nero’s uncharacteristic silence. It takes just one glance to see Nero’s eyes are wide, watching Patty with an expression that he hasn’t seen before. “Nero?” Nero startles out of his thoughts, straightening up. “Uh, hi.” Nero says. He picks up his coat from the floor and dusts it off. “A little slow on the uptake. Did you overheat trying to wear that over here?” Dante asks. “No just-“ Nero looks away and seems to get his bearings “-wasn’t expecting to see you taking care of a kid. He’s being nice to you, right?” Nero looks at Patty with his question. “He’s horrible! He doesn’t clean, never explains anything until after it happens, and won’t eat anything but pizza and strawberry sundaes. I’m surprised he even knows what tomato juice is let alone drinks it.” Patty pouts and motions at Dante with a pointed finger.

Patty is- energetic. She’s outspoken and from how she speaks her mind is sharper than she leads others to believe. Yet she’s very much a child in how she behaves. Much like how Dante had been at her age to an extent. It had been obnoxious to deal with when younger, but Vergil can rationalize it as normal behavior for children in hindsight. Nero’s odd phase of having become quiet and calm as a child must have been a special case. “Would you advise I rescue Nero now, or later?” Vergil questions. “I think they’ll get along just fine without us hovering.” Dante pushes up from his chair and nudges a box of stuffed animals to the side with his foot. He tilts his head to the hallway door “Let’s leave them to it.” “And what will we be doing, instead?” “If you don’t want to know the weird details of the job, then I guess we can stay here and listen to Patty go on all day about that stupid show.” “Hey! I heard that.” Patty speaks up, looking over from the couch. “I wasn’t talking to you.” “But you were talking about me, so that’s pretty much the same thing.” Patty sticks her tongue out.

“What happened to my mom? Who was she?” Vergil’s gaze flicks away. Guilt passes over his face and he keeps cleaning without giving an answer. “Hey, you can’t just ignore me. I asked you a question-” Nero objects. “I can, and I will.” Vergil holds out the sauce pan “That is a topic for another time, Nero.” “Another time? Seriously?” Nero scowls as he uses a bit more force than needed to dry the pan “You’re gonna dare say that to me after years of this? I don’t even know what her name was.” Vergil pauses washing the dishes, resting his hands on the edges of the sink.

What's something about your OC that people wouldn't expect just from looking at them? ummm sheeeeee is kind of super sentimentallll <3 and believes in the existence of true looooveeeee <33 hehe ^_^ there is indeed a very beautiful soft gooey centre right down deep in his heart much to his own chagrin and much to the surprise of people around him

5. How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want? mm… they can be pretty singleminded when it gets down to it. they arent afraid of putting themselves in danger for something important to them, and at the end of the day even (their own) death is in their mind.. sort of a regrettable necessity? in terms of breaking laws/hurting others, nell doesnt put any inherent value in laws just by virtue of them being laws & also they ARE a vigilante which have always been in a legal grey area. hurting innocents is a no-no but idkkkkk in a dire situation pushed to her limit nell could get into some overly cruel tactics in taking down villains (thinkingface)

6. How easily could your OC be convinced to do something that goes against their moral compass? unsurprisingly nell is quite stubborn and resistant to manipulation under most circumstances… she hates being told what to do& hates other people thinking they know better than her. so if the manipulation came in the form of someone trying to convince her of a course of action she would dig her heels in on principle. but if it was like, putting him in a situation where the only way out is to do something morally reprehensible… hmm. nell would rather let himself come to harm if that was the tradeoff but if it was like, her family or ted (…..or casey) in danger thenngnhhnngfnhgnnhnhnnn YOURE PUTTING LADYBUG IN A HYDRAULIC PRESS YOU MONSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would really really really take some severe pressure but maybe you could force her into doing something she hated. maybe. idk

16. What is your OC's pain tolerance like? pretty good + aided by the fact that nell does not externalise almost any emotion or reaction.. not superhuman levels or anything but she's gotten a bit used to the kinds of things that happen when youre a non-powered vigilante hero

How does your OC behave when enraged? i think ive talked before about how nell doesnt tend to show their anger much until it hits a breaking point… big fan of "not getting angry" and then throwing her shoe at casey's head. when ENRAGED? might raise her voice above a monotone (big warning sign), frowns even more than usual, gets REALLYYY NASTY with what she says. if the situation suits then she will tend to simply Leave rather than just rage at someone… again its pretty difficult to actually get a rise out of her unless your name is casey

20. Does your OC have a tendency to get jealous? If so, how does this manifest? youre a sicko for asking this one btw. in most cases no. and nell would like to believe and like to have others believe that he isnt a jealous person. because thats a stupid and insecure way to feel tbh. if i was jealous i simply wouldnt be. . …………………… except for in some edge cases where nell might feel her "relationship" might be "threatened" or some stupid bullshit like that. in which case she. um. very maturely ignores it and then takes it out on the cause of the annoying emotion i.e. poor innocent casey who wasnt even doing anything wrong

abbi: i definitely feel like she would come from overwatch because i can see her really liking the overwatch characters. sadly i dont know a lot about overwatch but YOU SEE WHERE I'M COMING FROM. she plays demoman and is really good at landing pills :) also DEFINITELY goes all out on her loadout. probably spends a lot on hats. speaking of hats

monika: she likes the hats and ABSOLUTELY collects then... the pocket pyro she would totally have... but would reasonably get too scared of playing in public servers, i too would be afraid of the sweats yelling at me. when she does play i'd see her on mann vs machine with the club! otherwise i feel like she'd play sniper because she avoids more people that way lmao

prez: she's a spy main. enough said. she's just... so spy vibes. watch any jontohil spy video and tell me that isnt prez... she loves overthinking spy gameplay and getting into the enemies minds and stuff. uses stock loadout primarily but would definitely experiment in the other weapons because she is a spy sweat. i cannot emphasize this enough but she's literally that one spy in each game that everybody hates. dominates the leaderboard probably. has a really simple loadout, maybe like a single hat or something. she keeps it simple

syrah: plays any class in the most annoying way possible, needs no further elaboration (she's the scout that dies a lot)

saffron: honestly... pyro. saffron on pyro. let him set shit on fire. i feel like he'd play the defense classes tbh!

frederick: ENGIEEEE!! AUS Masterpost

Before you read: Aftermath is the main storyline and is still the main focus on the blog, but my brain decided to give me brainrot so hard I have aus of an AU.

Champion City PAMA/Redstonia PAMA.

Lumping these in together because they're the least developed.

Both of these aus are an outcome of Jesse basically snubbing/denying PAMA a place in their life/Beacontown. CC PAMA is in essence them becoming a replacement Radar to Stella and being mean to Jesse. Redstonia PAMA is when they move to Redstonia and chill with Olivia.

Seriously I have basically nothing.

Aftermath (But nothing bad happens)

I'm only including this because it's cute and wholesome.

In essence, Jesse convinces PAMA to abandon their purpose earlier on, allowing PAMA to finally realize who they are and not push themself to be Radar's assistant, avoiding the events of Aftermath.

PAMA, Nell and Radar become really close cute friends.

This is basically just a slice of life au.

Monster Hunter PAMA

An ep 7 au where Harper builds PAMA to hunt monsters and protect Crown Mesa. The problem? She's a werewolf. PAMA proceeds to spend the entire storyline hunting her down, unaware that the werewolf is their creator.

Jesse and co come in and find PAMA has destroyed the portal in a desperate attempt to keep the werewolf inside Crown Mesa.

Cue a mystery where they have to find the werewolf's identity, its whereabouts, and its intentions.

Werewolf PAMA

There are technically two versions of this au. One where PAMA's an out of control werewolf and the other we're they're a chill one.

Why two versions? Because I think there's interesting things to explore on both ends.

I just like werewolves ok.

Also maybe a version of this au has a vamp Radar.

Aftermath (But it's Starkiller)

(Starkiller's my webcomic for anyone who's curious and I'm going to copy what I posted in my first post about this au)

For people unaware of my webcomic, dragons in that setting are basically used by the dead, named Stars in the setting, to be companions to soldiers of the other species. Basically dragons exist to serve and most don’t even get the “opportunity” and just live in a haze because they feel they’ll never live up to such a grand idea.

So Radar, ala the original webcomic’s Sol, takes a dragon out of that situation. That dragon being PAMA, who was chosen by the Stars themselves. [who’d have a different name in this setting, same as Radar] Shenanigans ensue)

In essence, Radar accidentally kidnaps a dragon during a raid (he's probably a part of a resistance group with Jesse) and they have to socialize them to go against their "programming"

Radar's a human, PAMA's a dragon, and Lukas is a sphinx (because of the cat motif) as for the others? Unsure, maybe also human??

Not sure what the ocelots or Harper would be.

Angel PAMA

Tbh @dragonbma kind of created/inspired this au so credit to her!

Harper is a seraphim of some kind who creates Angel PAMA for a specific purpose (which I haven't figured out yet)

You know the drill, PAMA has a crisis and tries to find their own purpose. So they attempt to become more "mortal" by destroying their wings. Unfortunately, they grow back more multiple than normal.

Lots of angst between PAMA and Radar in this au. Think his usual Aftermath angst of "Noooo PAMA you need to live for yourself" but with the constant horror that they're mutilating themself every chance they get.

Infection au

Harper is patient zero in this au, catching a virus from another world that somehow impacts her immune system (as the people of this world and hers don't have one or the ability to get sick)

PAMA and Ivor desperately try to cure her as she deteriorates, becoming more feral and decrepit, slowly mutating into something to something that only exists to infect.

She escapes from quarantine at a point and infects a few people, which makes PAMA have the idea to chip people in order to monitor their infection progress and find a way to cure them.

At a point they have to put her down like old yeller :(

Sunshine Institute PAMA

PAMA pisses off Romeo to the point where he sends them down to the Sunshine Institute. (In essence, they let loose the fact that Admins can be de-modded and he poofs them away)

PAMA beats the ever living hell out of the Warden for the Iron Breathtaker incident and ends up on his shitlist, to which Jesse has to pull strings as a guard to stop him from basically giving them the Prisoner X treatment.

Similar to the Champ PAMA au where they explore the Underneath and all that. Also they help out and eventually Petra comes to trust them.

Champion PAMA

If Jesse takes too long to decide who will get the clock, PAMA will take initiative, which impresses Romeo and he makes them his champion!

He doesn't reprogram them, that's too easy! He HAS to train them himself! It's funner that way!

In the fight, PAMA eases in way too quickly to fighting Jesse as they're used to following orders. They HATE it but are easily conditioned.

They're surprised when Jesse refuses to attack them. After the fight, PAMA confides in Jesse that they were scared they'd act up again, that they were doomed.

PAMA then joins the cast in the Underneath.
