The way people are complaining that jinx isn’t the same character this season because she’s “sane” (aka not actively having an episode of psychosis, even though she literally did experience a hallucination when seeing vi with the enforcers), is strange.

also I find it strange that people talk about jinx and powder as if they’re separate people. they aren’t. jinx is powder, grown up and traumatized and mentally ill. like i completely understand that jinx likely struggles to realize this, because extremes are often the stable of bpd and she shows all the signs, and well—a personality disorder is a personality disorder.

but no jinx did not kill powder and taint her memory. powder is not gone. jinx can not exist without powder, and vice versa—because they are eachother. that’s what vi needs to realize and accept as well—her sister is not gone.

her sister just grew up and changed and is traumatized and mentally ill. it’s impossible for jinx to kill powder, or for powder to “come back,” the exact same she was. vi could never have powder back because the powder vi remembers was a scared, helpless little girl who depended on her for almost everything. powder was never going to remain that way forever—not if she wanted to survive.

powder has grown up and changed without her. that was always going to happen, it happens to everyone. if nothing happened as it did, their family was still alive, vi was never thrown in jail and powder never taken in by silco; powder still would’ve changed, somehow, someway. She’d likely still just be going by powder rather than jinx.

i have arrived with Creon/Capitol facts. I know its not as many as the other list but i didnt want to run the risk of spoilers. Anyways! enjoy

For Creons' 15th birthday, they asked mc for a kiss (only if they've been romanced before the games)

Snow already knew who Mc was before they were reaped

Creon almost always has on gold eyeliner

Creon has written poety about mc, but they'd rather die than ever share it

MC once mentioned that creon looked good in red, and ever since then, Creon has made sure to wear something red every time they see mc

Mc immediately caught the Capitols eye whenever they were interviewed during Ashs games and has had fans ever since (they're kinda like that side character thats barely there but the fans absolutely love them and now they get their own show)

Creon may have done well in school, but they absolutely sucked at taking test and hated them with a passion

Whenever Ash died, Creon almost immediately tried to call Mcs home

They were kind of relieved that nobody answered because they honestly had no idea what to say

When Creon was really young, they had dreams of being a writer, but those dreams quickly died whenever their father died

Creon once owned a dog, and they've been trying to convince their mom to get another one, but she refuses

Whenever Mc had told them that their district was probably going to vote for them to go into the games thats when Creon started to put together a plan on how to make sure Mc makes it out

Unsurprisingly, Aurel and Creon don't get along very well

Creon also thinks its very funny that Aurel gets stuck with Woof as their mentor because they know he's not really going to be able to help them

Creon and Tigris get along surprisingly well (...it may be because they remind her of Coryo)

Tigris requested to be Mcs stylist and refused to take any other tribute

One of the first things Creon said to Tigris when talking about their plan for mc was "We don't need to make everyone like them we need to make sure everyone falls in love with them" and Tigris is set on making sure that happen

Creon doesn't fully understand the point of the Games, but they can't imagine what life would be like without them so they pretend to think they're necessary

Because Mc had that group of fans after Ashs games, their Uncle didn't even give them the choice on whether or not they wanted to go to those Capitol parties

Mcs Mother felt that if they went it would help out the family name so there was no debate about it

Mc and Creon would sneak off and not reappear until it was time to leave

Creon would always make sure to get their dance with Mc before the night ended tho

And they would also bring Mc gifts any time they were in the Capitol

We’ve talked in the past about Julia’s red shirt (in her season 1/season 4 outfit) showing her sympathy towards Carmen. What about other parts of her outfits?

First, to contrast with the red shirt peeking through her dark pantsuit, we have Julia’s ACME suit.

The ACME suits, being uniforms, are all the same (the biggest difference being skirts for the women vs pants for the men), the same way the agents are asked for uniformity, conformity and following orders.

The suits have no color apart from a navy so dark it’s close to black - in fact, depending on the lighting they look almost black and white. Quite like their way of thinking.

As I noted on a previous post, at the same time Julia receives her suit and as such lets go of her red shirt, she is asked to renounce her feelings that Carmen is innocent. Season 2, where she almost exclusively wears the ACME uniform, is the one where Julia briefly doubts Carmen and struggles to reconcile following her superior’s orders with her convictions. Ultimately, when she does not manage it, she resigns (season 3) and as such goes back to her red shirt outfit. It is in that outfit that she teams up with Carmen in a substantial way in season 4.

Other agents (and, notably, agent Zari, the most featured ACME agent apart from Julia and Chase) tend to wear black gloves. In line with their behavior, this suggests keeping a distance with their environment, refusing to feel things too deeply. Julia doesn’t wear gloves, however, not even in Stockholm where the weather would definitely justify it. Despite Chief's insistance, Julia keeps paying attention to her feelings.

Then, Julia’s glasses. Her glasses in seasons 2-3 are ACME regulation eyewear : once again, they’re part of the uniform, so the same model as the other ACME agents. Big, bulky, they’re almost rectangle in shape, all sharp angles : this suggests rigidity and an absence of flexibility in ACME’s mentality. Also note the dark lenses : they symbolically obscure the vision.

And what about Julia’s original glasses, the ones she wears before joining ACME and those she returns to as she leaves ? They are the exact opposite of the ACME glasses : round and clear, what you need to look at the world as it is.

i can't even talk about this too much because it makes me apoplectic flames on the side of my face, but in what UNIVERSE? in the real world and not the online echo chamber, there was nothing weird about their relationship, and when you then consider other factors (experiencing similar rapid rises to fame at young ages and being able to understand that with one another in a rare way, the fact that taylor dating younger after she was severely hurt by toxic relationships with two men who were much older was self-protective, and also...the problem is when the specific dynamics are used harmfully. plus the fact that they are very much peers, etc), it just completely erases reality, and also turns harry (and connor) into a doll and a prop for them to wield against her. harry's feelings about her and their relationship are very clear, stop removing him from his own life!
