Well it's that time again for another JJK rant.

So by this point I would assume that most of you know my eternal hatred towards the enemies to lovers trope when it comes to Gojo x reader stories right.

Well we are back at it again cause I am hoping people know that this type of relationship isn't one that Gojo would ever go for. Like it's one of those things that the fandom latched on to like My Hero Academia Hawks being a flirty playboy. It's not something that fits the character but it something that so many people latched on to that they now believe that it's a thing.

Like Gojo knows his worth and value. He literally dislikes those that he views as stuck up or just down right unlikeable. Aka every reader in the enemies to lovers trope. Like you are telling me you hate this guy for no reason but it's okay because your only saving grace is that he finds you attractive.

Seriously.

That is the how 95% of them go. Also to even it out they would make Gojo do some out of pocket stuff to justify the reader treating him like dirt while also always making him the bad guy even if he did nothing wrong.

I am so sick of this copy and paste trope. Now I know i don't have to read it which I don't. If I see it I keep scrolling. Although there are gems I sadly just skip past them because I'm used to the bad and boring ones. (Lowkey reminds me of the dumbest Gojo x reader story on wattpad called Debt. Freaking dumbest reader/mc I have ever read couldn't even get past the first few chapters. The first and only time this has happened)

Another thing is bad reverse harem stories. Like I don't care the reader is 18! Why are men close to their 30s trying to have a relationship with them? Why is said 18 year old trying to have a romantic relationship with freshly turned 15 year old? Look 18 maybe considered an adult but it's still gross and it would have been better if the reader was 20 and up. Also if you want your reader to have love interests that are 15 then they should at least be under 18.

I am sick of gross age gaps, don't care if you are 20 years old dating a 30, 40, or whatever just make it legal! 18 isn't a cheat code!

Also harems suck since they either end up with no one, end up with someone not in the harem, or worst not even completed. Yet, the biggest crime is as I said it before the gross 18 year old cheat code.

Finally the last of my random rant which has to deal with genders and sexyal orientation. Stop writing about boy x boy if you are only going to stereotype them. Yes gay mean may like to be more of the feminine side but NOT all of them. Not all males who prefer to be a bottom want to wear feminine clothes and act like a femboy.

Not all trans people want to be just a title! Don't include them if you are not even going to try! Same with the non binary or gender neutrals. Don't include them but give traits that have a gender that goes against their stances. It's wrong.

Also I lied this is my final rant. Stop saying it's a reader story if you are not going to be neutral. For example giving a reader appearances that instantly alienate a reader. Sure I understand fem reader or male reader tags but to then give them hairstyles, skin tones that alienate others, or ect. I'm a POC (Person of color) and it sucks when you are reading something and instantly shown you are not included. Luckily the anime community is slowly but surely getting more inclusive. No I'm talking about those that want to read reader stories from fandoms like The Boys (Scarlett Witch took over i swear) or (Squid Games I know it's in Korea but dang why can't I be american?).

Hello punch out fandom! I bring you the dynamics chart! But this time with my baby, New York Steel! Aka Marie’s son, aka Motel’ (Muh-tul) Kofel! He is a boxer in the world circuit - don't know why but that's what I did so lets get into the meat of this 😎

So

Motel’ has a snarky, chaotic relationship with the Punch-Out!! Wii roster. While he acts like he hates them, most of the time, it’s just his way of dealing with emotions and the absurdity of being surrounded by boxers. He thrives on causing trouble but is also deeply connected to them in ways he won’t admit—unless it’s about Macho Man, whom he genuinely despises.

The People He Has a Complicated Father-Son Dynamic With

• Doc Louis → He butts heads with Doc often but secretly respects him. While Doc tries to give him advice, Motel’ brushes it off with sarcasm. Deep down, though, he listens. He just won’t admit it.

• Bald Bull → Their dynamic is both chaotic and paternal. Bull treats Motel’ like a stubborn son, and Motel’ fires back with insults. But if someone else messes with Bull? Motel’ will be the first to throw hands.

• Soda Popinski → Soda and Motel’ share an odd bond, mostly because Soda is unpredictable. Motel’ teases him about his drinking habits, but Soda treats him like an annoying but beloved brat.

The One He Actually Hates

• Super Macho Man → Motel’ despises him with a passion. He sees Macho Man as the embodiment of everything he finds fake, obnoxious, and unbearable. Macho Man, in turn, sees Motel’ as a nuisance. If anyone gets under Motel’s skin, it’s Macho Man.

The One He Sees as a Father Figure

• Von Kaiser → Motel’ has a weirdly soft spot for Von Kaiser. Since they can speak in German, there’s a natural understanding between them. Kaiser reminds him of someone from the old world, so he listens to him more than he does the others. He fells since they came from the same area( Germany and surrounding nations) he has the best understand, probably grew up watching him on tv.

The Sibling Rivalry

• Little Mac → They act like siblings who constantly fight. Mac is often the voice of reason, while Motel’ is the instigator. They argue, throw insults, and mess with each other, but at the end of the day, they have each other’s backs.

The Crushes

• Disco Kid → Motel’ is hopelessly crushing on him. He tries to act like he doesn’t care, but he absolutely cares. He gets flustered when Disco Kid compliments him and tries to play it off cool, which never works.

• Carmen → Another one of his crushes, but this time, it’s more competitive. He actively tries to steal her away from Don Flamenco, using his wit and charm to try to win her over.

The Best Chaos Buddy

• Ryan (Aran Ryan) → Motel’ and Ryan are natural partners in crime. They both love causing trouble, getting on people’s nerves, and making things chaotic for fun. Together, they’re a menace.

The Ones He Fights With Constantly

• Don Flamenco → Aside from trying to steal Carmen from him, Motel’ also just enjoys annoying Don. He sees Don as dramatic and over-the-top, so naturally, he pokes fun at him at every opportunity. Don absolutely loathes him for it.

• Great Tiger → Motel’ thinks Great Tiger takes himself too seriously and enjoys messing with him. However, there’s a bit of a rivalry there since Motel’ is sneaky, and Tiger sees through his tricks.

The Ones He Secretly Respects

• Glass Joe → Motel’ doesn’t bully Joe as much as the others expect him to. He actually finds Joe’s stubbornness admirable, though he won’t admit it.

• Bear Hugger → Bear Hugger is one of the few boxers Motel’ doesn’t go out of his way to bother. There’s something about his energy that keeps Motel’ from stirring the pot too much.

• King Hippo → Motel’ doesn’t actively antagonize Hippo but definitely makes jokes about him. However, he knows better than to get on Hippo’s bad side.

The Wild Cards

Mr. Sandman – The Walking Nightmare

• He tries to keep his usual snark, but it’s noticeably toned down. He’s not looking to get knocked out.

• If someone asks him why he doesn’t mess with Sandman, he’ll make up an excuse like “I pick my battles, and that’s a battle I’d lose.”That being said, if he ever gets comfortable enough, he might poke fun at Sandman’s sleeping habits—but only from a safe distance.

The Referee – The Law He Keeps Trying to Dodge

Motel’ has a very love-hate relationship with the ref.

• The referee is constantly trying to keep Motel’ out of trouble, especially since Motel’ cheats in fights.

• Motel’ sees him as a fun challenge—how much can he get away with before the ref notices?He has been threatened with disqualification many times, but somehow, he keeps getting by.

• If the ref actually catches him, Motel’ will act completely innocent, throwing up his hands and saying something like “Me? Cheat? You wound me, sir!”

• Piston Hondo → Motel’ respects Hondo’s discipline but thinks he’s too serious. He occasionally messes with him just to see if he’ll break character.

Overall, Motel’ is a little menace who thrives on chaos, but beneath all the sarcasm, he actually cares about this weird family of boxers. He just expresses it in the most annoying way possible.

Nothing much more to say! He isn't as thought out as Marie- yet lol

Probably going to get hate for this but tbh I don’t really care because it needs to be said. I feel like social media culture has absolutely killed fandom culture, and anyone producing content is suffering for it. I mean, seriously, AO3 isn’t TikTok. We’re not getting paid to do this shit, we’re doing it for free. All of us have lives outside of this, whether it be school, work, etc. But we’re still taking time out of our busy schedules to create something not for us, but for you. Sure, people say “write for yourself”, and to an extent, I do, but if I were writing for just myself I wouldn’t spend hours polishing my work so I could post it and share it with you. The things I’ve written solely for myself are scrappy. They’re in notebooks. They’re not meant for you.

But the works I share online, those are written for you. Not for me, but for you. And in return for what is often weeks of work, we get a click. A digital heart, if we’re lucky. Because modern social media culture is all about consumption—click, consume, then move on to the next thing without even bothering to at the very least thank the person who crafted something with love for your eyes. I can’t speak for artists, but as a writer this is very disheartening. Nowadays, I find myself more and more inclined to quit what I do and focus on the other things in my life, because I’ve spent god only knows how much of my time creating for you only to see not a single thanks for it, and over time it’s just gotten worse and worse. I don’t want to quit writing. I’m proud of my AO3, and I do have readers who enjoy my work and let me know that—unfortunately, they’re in the slim minority; so much so that I can count them on one hand. But the fact of the matter is that art is not meant for this rapid consumption culture. And when people put their heart and soul into creating things for you FOR FREE and see nothing for it, we become disheartened. We feel like it’s all for nothing. And we want to quit. It takes maybe 30 seconds to leave a comment. It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant; oftentimes just a simple “thank you” will make a writer’s day. A couple nice words could give us the motivation to create something new.

Please, if you have any ounce of respect for the creatives in your life, just leave a comment. I don’t care if y’all on here call me selfish or greedy, because as a writer, trust me—your comments mean the world.

I can't really say much about hypersexuality as i have no experience with it, and it's been a while since I read the Underlust comic.

One thing I have to say, I don't think NSFWShamecave probably didn't intent to portray SPECIFICALLY hypersexuality? From my understanding at least it doesn't seem like it.

Despite the way monsters behave being similar to hypersexuality, I believe the creator was trying to portray something that they believed was fictional. (The lore reason being the fact that everyone's injected with an aphrodisiac.)

And that's where a lot of the issues come from.

I will have to say, it was a genuine attempt by someone to make something with serious lore out of an AU with origins that are hard to take seriously. I would blame it on age, but I'm just gonna go on a limb and say someone with the username NSFWShamecave was at least 18 back then.

Regardless, it's not a story that's easy to tell. Even with genuine intentions, their story- you can tell it wasn't made by someone who knows their stuff.

Additionally, it seems like a kind of AU where the creator thought 'designs first, lore after'.

Which isn't a bad thing on it's own! It's interesting to already have a point in the story that the characters are at and think "okay, how did they reach it". But the creator didn't execute it well.

There's also the 'love fixes everything' vibes I remember getting with Papyton with what happened to Mettaton.

The AU itself feels kinda puritan, with Frisk needing to show the monsters true love as if they've never had it before. It feels extremely reminiscent of the internet's culture at the time, especially the Undertale fandom. I remember being very active on Wattpad at the time, and I remember on there... It was treated jokingly, but we did call anything sexual 'sin' and shamed people for being into it (12 year olds like I was SHOULDN'T be into it, but still...)

Not to mention... Chara. Obviously the character who was the fandom's genocide scapegoat, who was seem as evil back then, is gonna be made weirdly lustful. Good thing they aged them up, I'm glad this creator didn't try to dive into child hypersexuality (while it does exist, someone with those views on sexuality would not have handled that very well, and they would have received more scrutiny), but giving them the soul trait of Lust? That was probably not the best way of explaining why everyone is horny.

In short:

The main issues are that the creator was portraying a real issue bad because they didn't know it was real, and that the creator wasn't all that experienced in writing stories (and designed most characters other than Mettaton and Frisk without a story for them in mind).

As for Lust Sans himself, I didn't really answer that question specifically very well, did I?

Firstly, he suffers from what most characters in the story do.

Additionally, as a Sans, I'm gonna have to think about him in the context of the multiverse.

His portrayal is what happens when an already not too well executed idea is brought towards a bunch of kids.

Of course there were older people in the fandom, but I say the majority of us were not the intended demographic for the AU.

And kids, especially in today's day and age, are notorious for wanting to seem mature and therefore portray stuff for adults, but at the end of the day, we weren't and we couldn't.

So Lust, in especially the early fandom's eyes, was reduced to "non-consensual flirt bordering on rapist".

I do have my own version of the AU, slightly altered. So far it's just lore from the AU itself instead of individual characters or story. I wasn't really planning on doing much with it, and I made it before voicing my own criticism, so it doesn't really address more than the Chara sexualization. as for pierce the veil:

"collide with the sky" is their most popular most iconic album (lmao hyperfixation rant unlocked. i sense an essay coming). personally i feel that objectively it just is their best album, even though it's not my personal favourite album, and also just doesn't have a lot of my favourite ptv songs on it. but when i look at all their albums, cwts just doesnt have any bad songs on it, or even any songs that i like slightly less. its straight bangers. its melodic, well writen, strong lyrics and concepts, high energy. like seriously no flaws.

personally i started with "selfish machines" (i knew nothing about the fandom or anything when i started with this album). i think it was kinda good that i didnt start with cwts because, as i started to learn that it was meant to be this amazing album i got really excited to listen to it. idk just not listening to it first just built up the hype for me. and then when i listened to it, i was not dissapointed. by the time i listened to cwts, i already knew selfish machines front to back, word for word, and it was my favourite album in the whole world and i had been listening to nothing else for about a month. i didnt think i was going to like cwts as much as selfish machines, but then i instantly did. it kinda felt like album release day when i listened to cwts. i just kinda think it was more fun to already be in love with the band before listening to their "best album".

anyway definitely start with one of those albums. both are brilliant.

as far as the other albums, i also really love them but i wouldnt start with them

"a flair for the dramatic" - amazing album, i come back and listen to this album a lot. it is their first album tho so its slightly less strong and you can tell they're still figuring out their sound. i like that it feels a bit more raw though. the only reason i would start with this is if you wanted to listen to them chronologically (which tbh could be kinda cool and isnt the worst idea)

"misadventures" - the first time i listened to this one i wasnt fully sold. i thought it was their worst album. however this didnt last long because every time i listened to it i like it more (which ive heard other people say a similar thing about this album). it just got better and better until i thought it was a straight masterpiece, just like the others. anyway thats why i wouldnt start with this one, however since it seems you like heavier stuff more, i think you would like this album because it has some really high energy stuff. (i mean they all do hahaha but i feel like this one is less melodic? idk)

"jaws of life" - this album they released after like an eight year hiatus in 2023. its a completely different sound than the other albums. the other albums are post-harcore albums whereas this is more of slower grungier album, with also some pop elements. i love this album but given that you prefer the higher energy i would definitely not start with this one. another reason i wouldnt start with this one is i feel that its less consistent as a whole album. this album has a few of my favourite ptv songs on it, but also a few of my least favourite ptv songs on it. it also is just a bad introdution to ptv since it sounds so different from their other stuff.

i think selfish machines is still my favourite album but i think thats mostly due to the fact that it was the first one i listened to and the one i listened to for the longest, so it just has more of a personal connection to me. but i genuinely think this band has one bad song and like. four eh songs and the rest are all bangers so i think they're worth a good listen. but yeah. start with one album. either selfish machines or collide with the sky. let me know what you think, of course in detail.

I stopped playing rdr2 for a few months due to the dissolving state of my ps4 and other life stresses. Decided last night to pick it up again and risked a house fire to give you all some lovely photos of Charles, and a sprinkle of Charthur.

I had some grand plan to linger around Charles and watch his morning routine like a creep. This particular time he went and removed last night's stew from the fire, then washed his face from the pail behind Pearson's wagon. He then walked all the way to the edge of camp to look at nothing for about a minute.

When that was done, I ended up sitting right beside him on a log for a good while. The interaction went like this:

C — "You okay?" (he spoke first!)

A — "Hi, Charles." (very insightful)

To which Charles responds with a very, very earnest smile.

The rest of the time I watched him roll his own cigarette and smoke it to a stub. Of course that's when I took all the photos— because, y'know, vague homoeroticism and cigarettes. All the while trying to turn Arthur's damn sights away so Charles would stop glaring insistently back at him. I mean, I'm aware that it's just game mechanics, but there was some serious eye-contact happening. Initially I felt it was interrupting my photoshoot, but on second-thought, I'm certain I was actually the one interrupting.

Anywho. During this enthusiastic interaction I kept thinking about this post by @arthursfuckinghat. I can't think of a better comparison. Finally being able to sit knee-to-knee with Charles for longer than ten seconds was a life-altering experience.

Also, I learned that he loves to lean back on the log a good bit. In comparison to Arthur's despondent (yet somehow immensely tense) shrimp posture, it was kinda silly.

So recently I've decided I really wanted to rewatch golden wind after reading the rest of the parts, and since this time I wanted to give more focus to the animation, I decided to watch it in dub. As a result, when I got to this part in ep3, I realised the dub had elected to change what exactly Bruno had said, stating the words above instead.

This struck me as a bit of a wierd change until I then realised how much this moment foreshadows Fugos 'betrayal' at San Giorgio Maggiore; by having the only one not betraying the boss being the one who suffers what Bruno predicted.

I feel like this foreshadowing is honestly amazing, and also hits home at how Fugo feels later on in phf when thinking back to his actions as the pier. I feel like he really does think of his lack of movement as a failure towards Bucciarati, one he has to atone for and I think it's really interesting.

On top of that, I find it really fun how accurate Brunos words are to the situation as a whole, and I find it quite ironic that the one who suffers them isn't even betraying the boss like Bruno is describing, but rather Bruno himself.

Overall, I really like how this singular line foreshadows a moment episodes later, and how I can bring up how Fugo's opinions and feelings on the event are reflected in Bucciarati's words.
