Gosh! It feels like this poll specifically meant to challenge me :( as someone whose been supporting both girls since the start- one who I essentially grew up with, and one whose a blorbo in law to me.

But at the same time, I love both these girls so much, so no matter who wins I’ll be happy! In the mean time, I’d like to show them some support! Aomine’s already got Momoi covered, so I’d like to talk a little bit about Estelle!

Estelle is the secondary protagonist, and Female lead in the jrpg Tales of Vesperia! She’s a naive girl who grew up within the castle residing in the capitol! She’s never been allowed to leave said castle, so she spent all her time reading every book she could get ahold of! This makes her very knowledgeable of even the most minute facts, but also means she struggles to understand others socially. As she’s been raised as a noble, she isn’t really aquatinted with how the lower classes speak to eachother, or know how their mannerisms differ from hers.

This leaves her naive to the world, but also kinder. She shows compassion and interest in things most people would overlook and ignore, happy to help where she can, even if it gains her no benefit. There’s many times within the story where she’ll run to defend people, or heal the injured without compensation.

Even her reason for leaving the castle for the first time follows this logic. A knight she had bonded with, Flynn, had left the castle of a mission. After he left, she learned that there was a plot to have him killed. Worried for his safely, she attempted to leave on her own to tell him, only to be stopped by the guards. That’s when she meets Yuri. That’s when he ends up getting roped into her issues, and the two escape the castle together. Yuri is the main protagonist, and male lead of Vesperia! Meaning the two of them will be spending a lot of time together from now on!

Fun fact! Flynn and Yuri are actually childhood best friends! The two of them originally joined the knights together, until Yuri dropped out because he disagreed with their ethics. Flynn, though equally upset, remained, believing he could make a change one step at a time. This caused something a of a rift between them, the two of them seemingly not speaking to eachother much, or at all, since.

Estelle isn’t deterred by this, and in fact glad she met someone so close to Flynn! This also means Yuri feels obliged to go with her, since she’s a friend of Flynn’s. And along the way, they end up bonding, and discovering the roots behind this attempt on Flynn go far deeper than they originally thought…

But that’s spoilers! So I can’t go into any of that just yet! This is just about the end of my essay, but I’d like to talk a bit about Yuri and Estelle’s friendship before I end.

Firstly, while they have a few romantic teases in the story, they’re never really written as a ‘couple’, rather than just friends. They never end up together, nor do they ever really express interest in eachother, both in canon and supplementary content. It’s not big, but it’s something I think makes them a bit neat.

As for the actual dynamic… Estelle is someone positive, finding joy and beauty in most things. Yuri, though, is a bit more cynical. While he does have fun, he sometimes can’t help but point out pessimistic aspects to certain things that are otherwise enjoyable.

Other times, it’s Yuri joking around, with Estelle either being out of the loop, or chastising Yuri when she thinks he’s being too rude. I’ve hit image limit, but there’s a cute scene between them where Estelle frets over a forest’s curse, worried it will turn her into a snake or a frog. Yuri states that if that happened, he’d take care of her, since he’s raised animals like that in the past. It puts Estelle at ease, but now she’s wondering what she’d do if Yuri became a snake or frog, since she’s never raised one before.

There’s also the case of her nickname, Estelle. Yuri’s the one who gave it to her, and the person to introduce her to the concept of nicknames! It’s a bit after they leave the castle, Yuri decides Estellise is too long of a name, and shortens it to a Estelle. There’s a few scenes where she becomes baffled by this act, and later becoming really proud of it. It’s her nickname! A nickname made just for her! And she loves when people call her it! In fact, she gets ecstatic when the local snarky mage, Rita Mordio, finally comes around to Estelle and her unrelenting kindness, and begins calling her by her nickname!

But that’s all I’ve got in me for tonight! Estelle’s a deeply interesting character to me, and I love her quite dearly. I hope that, even if she does win, you at least gain a bit of appreciation for her character! Good luck to both contestants, and happy voting!

Oh boy do I love it when I see two characters with vastly different personalities and wow their backstory and motivations and developments are in some proximity tied to each other? Wow how I do love that! What’s that? They have a rival-esque dynamic? Which stems from one characters insecurities? How interesting! I can’t wait to see how the pair’s relationship progresses throughout the span of the entire show! Hopefully they will be granted with a blossoming relationship from rivals to friends to an unbreakable bond that not even the insurmountable obstacle that is time and distance can wither! Hopefully the show displays poignant moments between the two that can act as lessons the audience can learn from such as battling your insecurities and being able to rely and trust people etc.!!!!

FLUFF TIME!! (While I’m in class don’t mind me) Reader and her boys surrounding her, everytime she heads to bed the boys follow, and when she has to get up, they whine (Soap). Why is she leaving? Isn’t it cuddle/eepy time?? Whenever she has delivery and has to receive it at the door (and has to leave in bed) they whine but follow anyways.

9/10 chance one of them tugs her clothe towards the bedroom because they are eepy and want to sleeb and that means it’s also her sleeb time.

Imagine she to take work home and is in bed typing in her laptop at 1 AM (while the sound of the keyboard is luring them to sleep, the light is a bother). One of them just pushes the laptop close and softly borks (it is past eepy time)

(I, too, am currently in class as I write this, and should probably pay more attention because we're covering Fourth Amendment rights BUT ANYWAY—also combining this with another Anon’s ask bc they were talking about their German Shepherd getting them to bed on time lol)

The boys may be strange and chaotic, but they're always hell bent on taking care of you. And that often means forcing you to take care of yourself.

Before them, you were just barely clinging to life. Now that you were out of university, there was no rigid routine to keep you in line, so you kinda just... fell apart. An inconsistent sleep schedule with 2-3 hour naps in the afternoon, only to stay up 'til 4 AM. Skipping breakfast because some days, you'd wake up at 11. And on days when you did have breakfast, it would just be a leftover slice of cake or pie, because you didn't wanna cook.

Things have gotten much better since you adopted these weird floofsters, seen as you've finally set an alarm so you can walk them in the morning, and are forced to buy groceries on a regular basis. Still, that doesn't mean there aren't tougher days when you fall back into old habits. That's when the boys come to the rescue.

Nobody eats until you eat. It's like a pact between them—even Soap refuses, and he's the most voracious eater. Price also insists that you eat properly—even when you're picky, he'll refuse to budge unless you grab some fruits and veggies from the supermarket. And Gaz straight up sneaks snacks into your cart when you're not looking, so you only notice when you're already in the check-out line, and it would be rude to go back. They also tug on your clothes or nip you to get you to bed on time.

You’re allowed no less than seven hours of sleep minimum—and bed is, at latest, midnight. Whereas the other boys are more occupied with taking care of your daytime activities, Ghost, true to his breed’s instincts, herds you at night; he’s the first to follow you out of bed if you try and sneak away, and he WILL stare creepily at you while blocking the doorway if you attempt to leave the room. The intimidation is extra effective in the dark and you see those reflective eyes peering out from the shadows. At first, you panicked and threw a blanket at him so he'd stop with his cryptid-ness. Nowadays, you throw the blanket over yourself, knowing he’s not gonna let you crawl back to your laptop.

You've tried to control his herding instincts by following tips on YouTube and Reddit, but it's like bargaining with a brick wall. Sleep—or else.

like poor guy is just, unable to settle down for the life of him. tried music, meditation, weighted blankets, everything, and he still just can't fall asleep so he gets up and starts wandering around. maybe he starts watching tv or a movie, maybe he makes a snack and reads, maybe he decides that now is the perfect time to do some time consuming task or clean every single inch of the house.

keeper wakes up to the sound of the pet accidentally knocking something to the ground, sees pet is gone, and freaks out. goes to living room and its just them staring at each other while the pet eats shredded cheese over the sink (straight from the bag).

on the other hand, the daytime eepiness.

it's barely twelve and poor thing can't keep his eyes open, falling asleep mid conversation, yawning with every word, seeming really distracted. he falls asleep mid - bath which is dangerous but he was just so warm and comfy! ): he can't help taking like fourteen million 10 minute naps per day. he's wandering around still in his jam jams and looks like he literally is asleep on his feet. eepy boy (:

This fits feral incredibly well. If it’s not canon that Simon is an insomniac for various reasons, it should be. So those two would be up doing chaotic shit together. Like, yes, feral is eating cheese straight from the bag, but Simon is brewing the strongest coffee in this hemisphere and they’re both chatting like it’s a weekend morning. I can see them getting lots of nap times together throughout the day. Ive said before (or at least agreed) that feral is cat-coded so this daytime napping business fits perfectly for him.

Johnny would be a menace, cooing over Shy Thing and trying to get him back into bed. Shy thing would go, wait until he’s snoring, and then creep out again to continue what he was doing. He’s less midnight cheese coded and more starting a lengthy project coded. Like, his whole bedroom needs rearranging, or the bookshelf needs to be reorganized - at 2am. But oh, Johnny would coo over his eepy boy. Dress him up in Johnny’s clothes and watch him shuffle around in too long sleeves, yawning if he sits down for too long, slumping into his shoulder in a nice patch of sunlight.

Good Boy spends all day napping on or against Price. His lap is his favorite spot, but he’ll settle for tucking up against his back too. Price tuts that he needs to stay awake, but poor baby boy just can’t. Price would also try to ~tire~ him out before bed. And while that may put him down for a three hour snooze, Good Boy will be creeping out of bed to watch old cartoons and sew/knit/crochet. Price usually wakes, scoops him up, and sets him in bed with headphones and a tablet.

eepy sleepy. i think we wake up a little later than usual and spend most of the morning/noon in bed cuddling (amongst other things). i think if it’s nice weather and we’ve planned it ahead of time, we go out for lunch at a cafe or something, and run errands but ultimately we return home to laze about and watch something on tv or indulge in each other.

oh….oh this is such a good question actually hmmmm. i think he likes this specific pair of jeans that i have that are mid/low rise and makes my legs look really really long and when i wear that with a tighter/slightly cropped shirt i think he likes that. it’s like a sliver of my stomach shows and he’s like a victorian man seeing an ankle idk. i also think in our selfship verse i wear skirts and dresses a lot more and he likes me in the white sundresses and a bulky cardigan over it. but also i think he’s just feral in general so. i don’t know i couldn’t choose for him.

when we are forced to! specifically re social gatherings. i think we’ll go to the club rarely but it’s a good time if we do, but social gatherings and parties are just a little awkward unless it’s birthday parties for a loved one.

he’s a bed hogger and i’m a sprawler. this poor man. i can go from lying on his chest to starfishing with my leg an arm thrown across him to curling under his arm etc etc. mostly it ends with me curled into his side with a nose in his arm though.

me lawl. but in the sense that i say the words out loud first and he says it in other ways and makes sure i understand what it means. like he says something so intently and it’s so obvious but unsaid but it hangs between us. i think it happens during a really high emotions moment like if he’s injured or i’m upset or something and one of us just does something that makes me crack and tell him. i think it’s scary for the both of us and i think he takes a moment to freeze before returning it.

i’m trying to take him to pound town. i was talking about this with keke but like i think he’s the perfect partner to try out new things with because he’s just. he’s weird and the weird things he wants are way weirder than what i want (we are both weird) and i think in the selfship verse with how we sort of grew up with each other and got to know each other again it’s like. we get to continue to learn and grow together and in this area as well. sometimes he’s got a lot of energy, other times i’m running him ragged!

it’s a lot of reassurances and depending on who was leading, cleaning the other down and making sure were both hydrated. i think sometimes we’re both content to just cuddle in silence and fall asleep but other times we need a bit more reassurance and praise from each other. he doesn’t let us go to sleep those times without eating something and drinking water though, no matter how tired we are.

it’s nearing midnight, I’m not tired (and I’m very hungry???) and I kind of want to write, BUT

Sleep

I need sleep

(and maybe tacos?)

Do I eat, write, then sleep? Do I write without eating? Do I eat without writing? Do I go to sleep because am baby and will be v eepy if I stay up too late?

All I can think about right now is Kakashi and Gai being gay and tacos

We worked two cardiac arrests last night. First one came out at about 10:45 and idk why but I had on my tshirt, button down shirt, pullover, and then put on a raincoat and when I say I don’t know if I was soaked from sweat or rain… we got back at like midnight and had to restock everything and then I had to write the report in the new system and I finally laid back down around 2:30. The cuss words that left my mouth at 4:30 this morning when I heard tones drop for another cardiac arrest would have gotten me fired if admin had heard.

But apparently they got ROSC on both the people by the time they reached the ER so that’s good! But now I am so eepy, so so so eepy.

Definitely a learning day bc I really need to work on my scene and treatment confidence and taking charge and delegating tasks. But I’m glad I have people that work with me that aren’t going to let me completely sink if I start to doubt myself.

How was your new years eve? I didn’t do much, just went to a friend’s house with some friends, played board games and drank wine while waiting for midnight cause I was sleepy by 9pm 🧚‍♀️ but I was BETRAYED because a while after I went to sleep they had a karaoke session WITHOUT ME 🤧 and my eepy ass didn’t wake up cause I’m a heavy sleeper I basically go into a coma.

Anyway, hope everything’s and hope this year you can achieve even more things you are proud of, from your work and personal life to yourself and even your writing here on Tumblr 💗 Love you!!!

My lovely tulip anon!! I missed you so much! Honestly I was fully intending to taking a much longer hiatus from this blog, but with work starting again, writing has always been the best form of healing for me and I don’t plan on picking up a new hobby in 2024 with how much time I’ve already invested in this one 😅 PLUS I still have so many lovely requests and ideas (and anons!!) so I’m back on here and in a much better headspace 🫶

I’m so glad you had a good new year with your friends!! I went to my parents’ house for a bit and then came home and was almost asleep by around 9pm too (why does new years always make me so tired??) but I ate some good food and spent some good time with my family! I can’t believe you missed the karaoke session though NOOOO I would’ve been so sad! I would’ve woken you up so we could sing Ivy by Taylor Swift together frfr ☹️☝️

The void mother is neat and a testament to your growth and actually I have something similar it’s two demon guys I pin negative emotions on to better place what I’m feeling their names are (rather generic) James and Jax

James is the everyone hates you sorta thing and Jax is the I’m so awful side

TO BE FAIR. I was ten and was dealing with the uhhh unfortunate affects of recently received chronic illness and also memory loss. Not like a serious amount but it was ! A lot for a ten year old!

While I wish I had handled things differently im not surprised I didn't, and honestly, Midnight was one of the best things to come from it.

I think with creations that are supposed to be the holder of all your flaws, the best thing you can do is love them regardless! It sounds weird, but you know. It helps !

And also redisgning them is super fun and I like putting them in funny outfits :]
