I know I joke a lot about Alex being a pathetic white boy poor kicked puppy uwu malewife but at his heart, he really just hates to see people hurt. he hates to hurt people and hates to see them hurting. he hates people who hurt other people. he’s been hurt and doesn’t want anyone else to feel like that. in the rebel au, he defects from the empire because he saw how they were hurting the people they were supposed to protect. he’s been through so much and still finds it in him to be empathetic to the pain in others.

✨Reasons why I’m still confident Elriel is endgame✨

1)All the hints and foreshadowing we have had for them since Acomaf.

There is a lot but I’m only going to list the main ones…*how they reacted to each other the first time they met and they both were wearing cobalt blue*azriel being the one to figure out she was a seer and then his understanding started to help Elain get better * the entire Hybern rescue scene and Azriel being full of rage ready to die to get to her*Azriel lending her truth teller when he never let anyone else touch it.*Azriel and Elain spending time alone together in the garden multiple times*Azriel following the sound of her laughter*Elain calling Azriels hands beautiful *Azriels shadows lighting up at her smile*Azriels shadows wanting to attack Nesta for insulting Elains personality* The way Azriel reacts whenever Elains Hybern kidnapping is brought up, *His entire Bonus chapter scene with Elain & Rhysand, *Azriel being upset about and still focused on Elain even after his bonus chapter scene w Gwyn takes place. *azriel having a physical reaction to Eluciens mate bond and seeing elain around Lucien.

2)Lucien & Vassa

Vassien has been my longest Acotar ship. I have been pretty sure about them since Acowar. The moment SJM retconned Lucien’s Dad to a spell cleaver, then we find out Vassa has a unbreakable curse and SJM has Lucien be the one to find her (a bird of flame and a lord of fire I wonder if they’d found each other yet) I truly felt Elucien was not going to happen. There was literally no other reason for her to retcon his dad. Then she’s built them up ever since as well. ( Feyre watching them off alone suprised how Lucien is acting around Vassa, Lucien blushing talking about Vassa, Lucien getting a spark in his eye or Vassa, Lucien having a pained physical reaction when Vassa talks about being enslaved to Koschei, Lucien seemingly setting a target on Koschei over Vassa, Mor pointing out it’s not usually for mates to be away from each other and ok, the inner circle saying Lucien is biased about Vassa now and they can’t trust his reports on her, SJM pointing out Lucien and Vassa are the true exiles jurian is not, Cassian & Nesta also questioning/wondering about Lucien’s reactions to Vassa or about her…) SJM has been slowly building Elriel alongside Vassien in the background. SJM has also talked about how she wanted to do a vasalisa the beautiful and a swan lake retelling and Lucien/Vassa& Koschei fit that perfectly. Now couple this will all the information we get on mates being able to reject a mate bond, mates not always being love matches, people questioning eluciens bond ect…

3)Gwyns Growth in Acosf

Another reason why I’m confident in elriel is because we got so much of Gwyns story in Acosf. People take us learning so much about Gwyn as a sign she’s next but I think it’s actually the opposite.In 1 book we met her, saw her grow, she got her besties, she revealed her deep trauma and how it affects her and we see her start to really overcome that. If Gwyn was getting her own POV SJM would have saved most of that for her book. If you look at Feyre,Nesta,Manon,Lidia ect w we didn’t learn about their true traumas or see them really start to work on it until we were in their own pov. Yes we got hints and a general idea but nothing in depth like we have for Gwyn.(like Elain we have gotten a lot of hints of her trauma but not the true depth of it or her true feelings over it yet in depth… )But if you look at characters like Fenrys, Asterin their storyline happened like Gwyns. They were amazing supporting characters and we learned about their trauma and saw their growth through Aelin/manons pov like we did for Gwyn through Nesta

4)HOFAS

We got absolutely nothing for Gwyn in Hofas. Which really surprised me because Gwyn has been studying the possibility of different worlds/realms with Merrill this would have been the PERFECT time to bring her in in a small way and give us some sort of hint and we got nothing. Even when Bryce was talking about her best friend to Nesta we still got nothing about Gwyn. A huge promising sign to me that Elriel is still endgame …Now remember how Sarah said she left breadcrumbs in azriels bonus chapter? Azriel questioned the cauldron over Eluciens mate bond in acosf and then in hofas the crossover he is heavily involved in we find out the cauldron was infact corrupted by the Daglan. SJM followed throw on those breadcrumbs to the next book…

5)Elriel in Azriels BC

If Elriel weren’t endgame why even give us their scene in his bonus chapter? She could have had Elains scene be with Lucien and azriels just be with gwyn but she didn’t…. Until then nothing solid had happened on page for elriel.. yes there has been moments and alot of foreshadowing but we hadn’t had thier feelings on page yet and in the bonus chapter she gives us canon confirmation they are into each other… then brings up the obstacle that they will have to overcome (Eluciens mate bond) She has rhysand set it up even further and then leaves things unresolved between them…. Why do annnnyyyyy of that if they weren’t endgame? It’s bc she set their story up the same way she did nessian in acofas… a special moment and then a “rejection” and they were left unsettled…. The same way she did for feyre and rhysand in acotar… they have a special moment as they are saying goodbye and feyre is staying w tamlin but then Rhys realizes she’s his mate and leaves, leaving her alone for months…. Again leaving them unresolved……….. people say “she did that to end them” If SJM was “ending” then she wouldn’t have left them unresolved. SJM could have just simply move elain on to Lucien and had her scene w him in the BC and kept Azriels with Gwyn and then start to move azriel on ti Gwyn after the Bonus chapter scene. But she didn’t. Because days later Azriel is still into Elain.

If you stuck with me this long phew thank you! Now while I am confident Elriel/Vassien are happening I do not think it is 100% set in stone yet. I don’t take anything as confirmation unless SJM confirms it or it’s in the books. So while I am confident I also do not count my chicken before the hatch. Could SJM change her mind and go in a different direction? Sure but that could be said about any couple in her series now too. Based on canon text and how she writes endgame pairings I truly think it will be Elriel/Vassien.

@solmxri: One of my best friends and someone I have known for (perhaps now) over a decade. Tordo is an amazing digital artist too who is responsible for Mike's sword design and is very passionate about the sword itself. I love that sword and the work that Tordo put into it right before their PC died on them. My poor friend. They have an incredible long and detailed list of muses that they have developed for years and are very passionate about. Tordo can be rather quiet and is shy, their PC is dead and they can't write right now which is driving them insane, but I love their writing, their art and the world that they have created for their muses. They deserve so much love and respect for the OCs that they have developed into practically real people.

@diistortion: In general. Overall. All around. Amazing ✨✨✨. A talented writer, an amazing artist who has done commissions of Mike for me, who has literally absorbed me into the fandom and kept me from running off. I adore Luke so much and their Alastor, their creative design of him and the depthful backstory that they’ve developed for him. It’s so creative and so impressive. Seriously, they’re so fantastic and they are the person who has helped create Michael design. I've stated it before and I'll do so again. Michael is an OC, I have worked his story and his personality together but his design the credit for his appearence goes to Akari and Luke. @radioiaci: HI I LOVE YOU. Your art is very pretty but your writing is also incredible. Like I love Alastor so much and I appreicate to the end of the worlds that you followed and engage with me. I know I've been a little slow lately, our time onlike at the same time is rather limited and since I'm at work my activity can fluctate while on here at night but I love our threads so much. Alastor might stress Michael out a lot but he does genuinely enjoy being around him and having him here. He's an absolute delight to torment and despite how clingy my son can be still for some reason puts up with him. I love all the little things Al has going on that fully completes his character, and the detailed art of his back is so interesting to think about in terms of the actual thread. Mike really wants to find a way to fix that. Thank you for existing and putting UP WITH ME.

@toxitrosia: I haven’t gotten to interact with, but that I have had the pleasure of talking to and answering a few asks for! I absolutely am enthralled by their interpretation of Valentino and the plot that they have going for him. The idea of him being a Hellborn and not a sinner is one I find incredibly fascinating and has so much potential. Honestly they have such a beautiful way of writing not to mention their interpretation is spot on to me! Despite the fact we haven't written, I can still very much recognize your name instantly when it scrolls across the dash or randomly appears in my inbox. The silly little asks I've answered for Val have been fun to try and flush out when they haven't engaged. I really have no idea what their dynamic will ever be but the prospects of whatever it could become are interesting. I enjoy reading whatever you throw up onto the dash or the people you engage with.

@chasingrainbcws is very aware of how I feel about them. Though it's been a while since we're written together (I need to throw some memes at you) they very much capture the feeling of Charlie herself from the show. I've only written with their Charlie and Emily (briefly her) but each interaction I got to do with the Princess of Hell very much felt like I could hear her voice or see her actually doing what she was in the show. I could clearly visualize our thread and I loved that. They are an amazing writer who really captures their muse well and I can't wait for the things we might get to do in the future. Either with Charlie or the other wonderful muses they write!

@alteregozowie: My friend, my beautiful friend, who is an incredible artist who does so much for me and feels bad often because it does take them a while for commissioms. But the stuff they bump out, just to cheer me up is so kind. Zowie, as I'm sure everyone knows, is such a ball of joy and sunshine. They're absolutely kind to everyone and stretches themselves so thin that they probably need reminders often to just slow down and care of themselves. (I'm a healthcare worker imma get you). 2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

i love how he punches holes through his newspapers with his hook. so uncalled for. you could totally just balance the pages between the curve and point but no, he has zero chill, he's gonna fuck up this newspaper so no one else can read it afterwards.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

i think he has a special interest/connection with animals. a lot of animals feature in baroque works, especially his lovely bananawanis. animals are easy to trust and difficult to hold grudges against, so maybe their presence gives him some peace of mind? he seems to have no issues disposing of his human agents if they fail him, but i like to think he's more forgiving with animals.

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?

i'm a sucker for a devoted second-hand, (cough cough vergo) so i'm gonna go ahead and say daz bones and crocodile. i love how daz seems to be the exception to his cruel-streak. they're both there for each other and it's warms my heart. also gonna rec this fic real quick because the daz & croc relationship is so good...

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?

oh. this is tough. in general i enjoy crocodile's ability to deadpan his way through a comedic situation? especially since he's frequently in the company of rosinante when i write him XD so yeah i enjoy making him very serious or slightly annoyed when there's some sort of ridiculous situation. something i don't like is how i never quite feel like i have a grasp on his character 😵 croc i need a backstory for you so badly... it's killing me...

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

so many things. i think for now, i'll say my favorite thing is how he seems to love sitting incorrectly. in warlord meetings, he's always got his ass perched on the back part of the chair, and his feet are in the seat. provided he isn't sitting on the table!! he likes to sit on those too. also people. loves to sit on people. think he used king riku as a footstool at one point.

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to ths character? Something you don't like?

i'm actually really picky about how doflamingo is written. i don't read much about him unless i'm familiar with the writer. i'm not a huge fan of the manic-pixie-girl coked-up-to-the-moon mingo (although i do think that's a funny style at times) also not a fan of the stories where he's just used as The Big Bad to make someone (law) suffer for the sake of whump. i love fics where he's got some crackhead energy, but not TOO much, yknow. he's quite intelligent and very diligent with his schemes, so a lot of the more comedic/brutal takes on his character make his intelligence less believable.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

OH i love this question. my first impression was the warlord meeting i think? i was fascinated. loved his character design (rip black V neck shirt. why couldn't he wear that for dressrosa. the white open shirt was Not doing him any favors) i thought he was just gonna be some Quirky crazy bastard, and he is! but when i saw dressrosa, specifically the backstory at spider miles, my brain opened up. his backstory, the brother trauma, how he spent his early life... it wasn't what i was expecting and i found him much more compelling with all that depth. that's probably why i tend to write him like more of a sleazy business man, spider miles mingo stuck in my brain XD

KENNY, MY BELOVED!

Oh boy, OH BOY, where to start with this guy?

I think I'll start out with his appearance, then move on to his identity, likes, dislikes, and misc. shit.

But before we get into it, minor TW for mentions (slightly in-depth!) of bad home life, an eating disorder, and mental illnesses. It's the first thing under the cut; I put a ✨ when it's safe to read again.

Ok, so, I definitely hc Kenny as underweight, for more than one reason. One being obviously that his family is poor, and can't afford much food, but I also think that Kenny has an eating disorder. ARFID, to be specific. It's not to lose weight, either; I think it formed because Kenny would rather his little sister Karen get to eat more food than him. His parents are also CLEARLY abusive, it's stated and even outright shown. I think that one of their abusive punishments is withholding food when Kenny does something they perceive as "bad," or even just when he makes them mad.

Kenny, I believe, also has a slew of disorders, mostly from his traumatic life. I think he's got:

ADHD, AFRID, C-PTSD, DPDR, and Cotard's syndrome. The C-PTSD is self explanatory- his life is shit. And I already explained the ARFID. But as for the others, I believe he has: ADHD just based on the actions he takes in the show. DPDR, as a symptom of his C-PTSD, and coping mechanism to the trauma of dying over and over and over. Impossibilities aside, if that were to happen to someone in real life, they would likely have a VERY hard time with their sense of reality. Cotard's syndrome, I considered not listing. Because Kenny really DOES die. But after thinking about it, I DO think he has it. I think his DPDR causes him to not be able to tell if he is really alive, or if he has died yet again.

I think that Kenny has snake bites and an eyebrow piercing. He just gives those vibes, doesn't he? Like, come on, he TOTALLY has face piercings! Same with a mullet. Like, Kenny is THE most mullet-having mullet haver I've ever seen!! It's less of a "hillbilly country bumpkin" mullet, and more of a tik tok alt mullet, and it actually looks kinda good on him.

I also think he wear Hawaiian shirts under his parka. At first he didn't like them, not even wearing one when he went to Hawaii and just keeping his parka on, but after a little while, he realized that he loved button-up shirts, but that normal button-ups were to formal for him. His solution? Hawaiian shirts.

I think he's genderfluid. Genderfaunet, in specifically. He uses he/him/they pronouns. This is because he's almost always a boy, but is sometimes non-binary, so usually prefers he/him. He's straight and even when he's non-binary, he still calls himself straight. It's just a personal preference of his.

I think Kenny's intelligence is definitely above average. However, his strengths don't lie with schoolwork. Instead, he's better at real-life problem-solving, and emotional intelligence. I'd place his IQ at around 120, although he never got tested. His worst subject in school is math.

Some things he likes are: Rock music, the aquarium, dogs, "bad" weather, nature, sports, urban exploration, social media, cars, and video games.

Some dislikes are: Reading, drawing, writing, speaking (sometimes), school, and closed spaces.

When Kenny gets to be in high school, he works at a gas station with Stan and steals cigarettes from behind the register. Kenny's job as an adult is at Sea World.

Kenny has GOT to be my favorite character. He's funny, but can have serious story lines that you can take seriously, unlike, for example, Cartman. He's got some things about him that are very relatable to me and a lot of other people and he's just overall a great character!

🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?

inari- she's very, very attached to her home country of skalmere, even though it's illegal for her to exist there and she'd likely be killed if she ever went back. she has a little skalian flag sewn on the inside of her jacket, over her heart. idk, something about it is really compelling, i guess i connect it to being a minority in a conservative area but not wanting to leave.

daci- okay, i love her bc she's a sweetheart, but i think what i like most is that her magic (empathy, literally) is very sensory-based, so if she chooses to use it around a lot of people she gets sensory overload, and sometimes there's so much she can't fully turn her magic off, and idk, i like angst, i like magic drawbacks, i like people who refuse to let their friends know their magic has drawbacks.

cas- he projects this image of himself as really dark and edgy and scary but he actually has the lowest self-esteem known to man (well, second to inari) and if ollie so much as looks at him sternly he will fold and walk back his most recent bad decision. he's so funny to me for that.

ollie- they're literally just this happy-go-lucky artist kid from the backcountry that you would never expect to be the right hand of mr edgy up there ^^ its a really fun character type to play with

eira- she's this small, babyfaced, anxious girl that literally everyone estimates, kind of rightfully bc she's very out of her depth, but from the first page she's got this undercurrent of strength and ambition and i really love balancing those two things (or unbalancing them and causing her problems)

tyrian- he's the most Some Guy ever, the ken to eira's barbie if you will, and he's the only one without magic or a significant amount of trauma, so he's even more out of his depth than eira is but doing his best. and i love him.

i started this story when i was 15 and younger than them all, and in 8 months i'll be older than all of them. which is insane.

✨- How did you come up with the OC’s name?

there's a forum on the nanowrimo website, where i was spending most of my time back in 2019 (you know this, lexi), and there's a category in there to adopt character names. someone made a list of fantasy names and their meanings, which i went back and found just now:

inari, daciana, eira, and cassian (cas's full name) are all up there. i actually almost named him caspian, bc it means sea, but i had an inkling that "hollow" would be more fitting. also, there's narnia.

fun fact: isleen and isleen wer taken for tyrian's older sister & younger brother, dyah (which i'm now tweaking to either dyha or dyja, but it was dyah for four years) was taken for inari's little sister, and valens was taken for eira's father.

i don't remember where tyrian came from at all, except that two posts above that post someone suggested "tyr?" hm. also, i pulled several names from other posts for the eight gods of daci's religion, as well as alarik for her dog and kiver for a kid who will be important near the end. no one needed to know all of that, i'm just realizing now that this thread was absolutely instrumental to olt's beginnings, lol.

oh, also ollie/oleander isn't from there! they came when i sent a picrew to some friends on a discord server and asked for naming help. i'm no longer in that server, nor do i remember who suggested the name, but i am forever in their debt bc it is incredible.

oh, and last names i just COMPLETELY made up based on vibes, except for gatien. i remember googling for that one, i don't remember what, and i selected it bc it means "watchman," tho i'm not sure what i was going for there anymore. also inari and daci's last names have been nixed bc i grew to hate them, so....i still need to replace those.

yallllllll guess what?? I DID IT!!! I DID TALK TO HER ABOUT IT!!!!

it was fucking terrifying and she actually pointed out something that i didn't realize, which was that it was probably so scary because of my past trauma with doctors and diagnoses and not being believed so ✌🏻✌🏻

but i did it! she was super nice about it and i knew she would be, but yknow, ✨anxiety✨

she was really good about it. like, when i finished talking she was like, "what do you need right now?" and i was like "i don't know" so she let me sit and think for a bit until i could say "i need validation and what you think as a therapist"

so she gave me lots of validation and stuff which was really good. and she was honest and was like, she has noticed some things i've said sound like they could come from someone who is on the spectrum, but wasn't entirely sure how intensely i felt them or if i even noticed that they were autistic traits, so she never said anything. but she was very proud of me which made me cry a lot lol.

and she was like "what do you want to do next?" because she said we had some different options. and again i was like "i don't know" lmao. i basically said "i just want to know why i'm like this" and she made me explain what i meant by that which was hard, but i did it! so she recommended me a book that she thinks would be good called Unmasking Autism by Devon Price. i read the introduction yesterday and it was a little rough but i think it will be good for me.

i haven't talked to my family about it yet and i don't know when i will. well, i mentioned it in passing to my cousin, my sister, and her boyfriend but never went in depth. i'm kind of keeping it a secret atm. like, the book got delivered but i didn't open the package downstairs like i usually do and my dad pointed it out and i got a little panicky but he didn't push me on it so i was able to just open it in private.

my online friends know and they were all super proud of me for talking about it because they know i've been wanting to for weeks or maybe even months now.

i think when i go back to therapy on monday i'm gonna ask my therapist about doing the assessment because i do think i want to do it. she said it wouldn't be official or anything, like, i'd have to go somewhere else if i wanted a diagnosis for disability or anything. but that's not really where i'm at yet. right now i think i'm just looking for answers and i'm hoping that doing the assessment and hearing the questions and stuff will help.

but if anyone has advice or kind words, please share them because i'm a very insecure newbie to this 💖

will i finally gain the confidence to talk to my therapist about the possibility of autism tomorrow? probably not.

So i know that rika is the reason Sev is with the agency and had to leave his brother but like…. How? How did Rika get him into the agency? As far as I know she was part of a “normal” family (despite horrific abuse and trauma :D) Did she, like, participate in human trafficking (despite it being consensual on sevens part)? How did this random woman get in touch with this secret government spy agency and go - hey! I know the perfect kid for this! -

I cant ever recall that part being discussed in cannon, and if im wrong please let me know. Its been two years since ive started playing this game and i still cant figure it out!! What are your thoughts on this? From what i can tell she just said ✨poof✨ and Seven left

MAJOR SPOILERS! About Seven's induction into the Agency and the rest underneath the Read More.

Actually, a huge chunk of the information that you're looking for is within Another Story, Rika's Behind Story, and the Secret Endings. We  know how Seven got into the Secret Agency because it was revealed in a phone call with V that takes place during Saeran's After Ending. I was surprised since this was always one of those things that made me wonder what the real answer was. It wasn't Rika that got Seven into the agency. 

She was never near the agency unless we want to say it’s due to the proximity to V and the church. Because V says himself that the only reason he was able to encounter an agent was because one knew about his art and went to the same church as V and Rika. It's Jihyun who involved the situation that caused this to happen before it or not. I still think about this because he says “I thought these kinds of places only existed in the movies.” I always read that to imply that he imagined that the agency would be like the movies. 

I don’t know if he deeply understood the depth of what was going to happen to Saeyoung. He says that he knew that anything Saeyoung got into was going to be messy because it was a fight against Saejoong Choi. V thought that it was a possibility that the agency was a lesser of two evils. But, he doesn’t know how much Saeyoung has suffered, if we’re being honest. Saeyoung has told us all about some of his worst experiences. 

They shipped him to America for a while for studies, and then when he came back, he was shipped out into field missions that traumatized him. The whole reason he has so much HBC was a bribe after he spent three days thinking he was going to be killed in that warehouse. I know that he was put in near death experiences time and time again. Here’s the screenshots from that call if you want to see it. 

I have the RFA box now, and Seven’s got a diary piece inside of it. It also points out one of his missions where he has to dress up like a maid because “the target is weak for them” or something like that. Seven dresses up a lot for his work to do what has to be done. He enjoys dressing up in cosplay and it clearly gives him a lot of gender euphoria since he shares it so often to everyone being proud of himself, but he starts doing it for work because they tell him to do it. He’s very young, easy to believe, and knows how to play a part. 

Sometimes I wonder if he has dealt with a lot of awful people because he goes deep undercover during his missions. I try not to think about it because it hurts to think that Saeyoung has been abused and scarred even more than what he had to go through as a child. He laughs these traumatic things off like it’s nothing but there’s so much that he’s suffered because of the agency. It’s hard to watch and listen to when you hear Saeyoung express these things. 

He won’t let anyone know how deeply he’s been hurt because he wants us to be taken care of first. He wants Saeran to be taken care of. He wants everyone to be taken care of before he even considers himself and that’s just a canon theme in his life. 

So, yeah, unfortunately, Saeyoung Choi has been put through the wringer time and time again. V got him the contact for the agency.

✨ what draws you towards your hyperfixation? what is interesting about it?

(tma) it has a LOT of detail, depth, and structure that makes it easy to analyze, easy to follow along with, and endlessly engaging. these are very important qualities in a special interest. more importantly, the characters are so fucking dynamic, lovable, and memorable. they all leave a powerful impression on you and evoke strong emotion, good or bad. also i ADORE the style of horror. it's SO morbidly exciting and makes me feel alive. with all these elements combined, it has such an irresistible appeal asdfhnxdhjb

💕 tell us about one of your favorite characters and why you like them!

(dragon age) fenris...... he's so complex and interesting as a character, and he just has SUCH a beautiful duality of 'trauma survivor returned as unstoppable force of righteous fury and vengeance' and 'charming, intelligent dude with a good sense of humor' and 'just a normal person in a fucked up situation trying to cope'. his whole character arc of recovery, embracing vulnerability and love, and finding justice means just SO much to me. i adore him

💢 what do you NOT like about your hyperfixation? is there something you would want to change about it?

(star wars) uhhh can we get ONE character of color who isn't sidelined or otherwise treated horribly? can we get ONE explicitly queer main character? and now that we're done talking the bare fucking minimum, can we maybe also get some actually coherent and meaningful storytelling?????
