I need more dca fics to read, not just because they're all so cool and special and unique-

I want to collect their y/n's in my pocket, and bring back the y/nverse. All of them in a lil pocket dimension (the dca stay in their respective stories, this place is reserved for the self inserts and side characters/family to interact. The boys can have their own pocket dimension)

The y/ns live on the same street or apartment complex, being bunched into groups that are roomies

For example. Bamsara's Solar Lunacy y/n, Paper-Lilypie's CCRT y/n, and bones-of-a-rabbit's staffbot y/n. SB is there so CCRT can perform routine maintenance, plus CCRT can be a but messy, plus they could help clean up after ccrt's kids. SL is where, you may ask? Their room has been vacant for some time, but CCRT and SB keep it clean and regularly dusted, out of respect. They don't know if or when their friend will return, but they'll be welcome at any time.

Naffeclipse's y/ns share a suite, probably.

spadillelicious's LDR y/n could stay with saltciphblr's lovebug au y/n

Again, I need to read more to get a better feel of the different wonderful y/n's

This probably won't be uploaded, maybe someday, but this is mostly self indulgence that my brain has been blasting on repeat all day

Rust!!! Rust my beloved!! (Swap!Papyrus from Ec-4o.verse)

He's still got that aloof energy of original Swap!Pap, mixed in with a bit of silly because I can't *not* give him a fun sword :)

Bonus, old designs!

These (from left to right) are: His first ever design in 2019(ish), a redesign from my first big design overhaul 2020(?), and then another attempt from what I believe is 2022(?).

Rust was always kinda the second thought back when I first came up with his design, but it's a lot more intentional now! He and Blue never really had a chance at nabbing high-quality outfits so his is a lot simpler than most of the cast (especially in a cyberpunk setting). He's intentionally got that young-ish whimsy to him still since he's Blue's younger brother, I don't want him to be another depressed middle-aged guy in the story. He does the skeleton-equivalent of vaping and would absolutely love a good episode of Voltron or Demon Slayer. That electric sword of his was a gift from Blue for his birthday one year. It serves him well.

thinking about dahlia today.....

dahlia who returns to kurain village years after she's left. who comes back with red hair and a new name - as though that could possibly lessen the hold the village has on her. dahlia who thinks it's her choice to return, if only to avoid considering the alternative.

dahlia who is brand new and strong now, no longer willing to let anyone tell her who she is, who she can be. who is old enough now to know that her mother is only just a woman. no power to speak of - certainly not more than dahlia herself has.

and what is power for, if not to use it over another?

what, she wonders, should she take? what is the best way to get back at morgan? at the end of the day, everything is about revenge - you just need to know what's the best method to use. poison. electrocution.

kidnapping her daughter.

but is it kidnapping, really, if the little brat wants to go with dahlia? no one's ever taught pearl not to talk to strangers, because in a village like this, everyone is 'family' or some other equally sickening nonsense.

dahlia knows what morgan must think of pearl: her shiny new daughter. overflowing with magic and spirits and power. her treasure.

but the thing about treasure that neither one of dahlia's parents have ever learned is that you have to keep your eye on it. otherwise, you never know who might come and snatch it away from you.

so for a sneakpeak, here’s the premise of the AU:

In a post-apocalyptic world,

Gavus is the head of the Celestial Justice Department in Sanctum, and right hand man of Governor Morgana. Rust is a disease rampant throughout Sanctum, and most concerningly afflicting his son (and the city’s youngest “miracle” doctor), Liberta.

Eugene is an ex-Hypogean Mushroom Keeper, and a wanted criminal in most surviving cities. He defected from Conrad’s beliefs a long time ago with his rust-afflicted daughter, Lucilla. Searching for a cure to rust, he runs through Sanctum City.

In a chance meeting, Eugene and Gavus decide to team-up together to save their children from rust.
