Maturing is realising that Eddie Thawne was nothing more than the pretty boy detective who fell in love with his partner's daughter. Maturing is realising that Linda Park was being gaslit into thinking her boyfriend was in love with someone just to keep her away from him. Maturing is realising Barry Allen was just trying to get over an unrequited love and deserved to be happy with someone that could actually admit they loved him. Maturing is realising that Iris West is a bit manipulative and should not have been Barry Allen's endgame.

The thing that gets me about this scene is that even after everything Sara did, Simon is still protecting her by not telling their mom what happened at all. And protecting his mom because he probably doesn’t want to worry her or involve her in all the drama. It makes me sad because he really is carrying so much in the family. I’m glad Simon has Rosh and Ayub to talk about things with but being 16 and taking on all that responsibility to look out for everyone else is a lot and people need to give him more credit for that.

List of the Kent family (aka Martha and Jonathan are parenting and grand parenting these people no matter what you say):

1: Clark Kent. I mean is this even a question?

2: Lana Lang. they don’t care that they aren’t involved anymore, Lana is always welcome. Unless she just recently tried to kryptonite gas the planet.

3: Lois Lane. Again, how would this be a question?

4: Jimmy Olsen. I’ll be honest I know they love him, but he’s 100% the person they make fun of behind his back like proper midwesterners. Yes we all have that one person.

5: Linda Danvers: They don’t know if they see her as a niece, daughter or granddaughter, but they love her so much.

6: The Danvers: Have you read the comics with these guys in them? They’re awesome and they helped with so much.

7: Kara’s Kryptonian parents if they aren’t in Kandor.

8: Karen Starr: They don’t see her much, but if she ever needs a break they have an apple pie ready for her.

9: Mon-El: Not sure where’s he’s at currently in comics, but if he’s not dying, he’s welcome.

10: Chris Kent: Their first for sure grandchild who they taught their child how to forge documents for upon meeting him.

11: Kon-El: He doesn’t see Superman as dad, but these three see each other as grandparents and grandson. The only argument I will accept on this is if you hc him as trans or non-binary.

12: Connor Kent (YJ show): He sees Clark as an absentee father, but these two were never absent once they found out about each other.

13: Jon Kent: They love this little bundle of joy.

14: Jonathan Kent (older Jon, don’t ask it’s a lot): They’re a little disappointed in him, but they love him and understand what he did and that he’s trying. But he’s, like Kara aren’t allowed plus ones cause they have awful taste in ppl.

15: Maik-El (Superboynfrom RoTS movie): Once he’s taken in by the Danvers and punching Jon, they welcome him with open arms.

16: Thara (possibly): I need to read more to make this calling.

17: Kong Kenan: They had Clark bring him over when they heard about the new Superman in China. He was a little overwhelmed but has since warmed up and blames Ma Kent for that extra five pounds (not like it’s muscle, but blame the pie.)

Obviously others are invited such as the Bats, the Wonders, J’onn, etc, but these ones are their family. If I missed any other Supers please let me know. Superlad might get added along with Matrix, but I have some reading to do before that.

Probably should have explained it but I was tired and just wanted to sleep lol Anywhoozie, Linda and Wally made their because who doesn't want to marry ya best friend for tax benefits, and Kyle and Wally made theirs because Kyle doesn't want to be alone and if he has to be can live with Wally and annoy him for the rest of his life, Connor was an option but Kyle can't subject this perfect man to his late night painting sess, he loves Connor too much to disrupt his peace because art demons called upon on him to paint that canvas, but Wally? He lives to annoy that man, he adores it!!

Tho now it's a crutch because Kyle is trying to ask out Alex and failboying it so hard that he calls Wally for a laugh, truly Linda and Connor are doing too much for these idiots, not Hartley tho, he's watching the mess from afar and making fun of them as he should.

In short, Linda just didn't want to be married to someone she not as close with (demi!Linda my beloved), and Kyle doesn't want to be alone but will die alone for some paints, god easily bribed

But onto the actual question!! Well, Light, you already know my absolute favorite is 1,000% our precious baby boy, Gene. I think my favorite aspect about him is that he has some of the best lines in the show humor-wise, but he has a great deal of depth hidden underneath the surface. He’s genuinely an incredibly talented musician (even though he and show claims he only knows a few chords, come on, he’s actually super talented) and he’s such a sweet person. He doesn’t enjoy pranking people simply because it makes them confused and uncomfortable. He just wants people to be happy!! 🥺

He also has a bigger body type which is rarely commented on and he has a love of food which is super relatable to me (I just love food, pffffft). And the headcanons of him being Genderfluid gives me an insane amount of Serotonin. It just makes me insanely happy. As a Genderfluid person, it makes me feel seen and represented, even though he’s not canonically Genderfluid. Just seeing him be unapologetically himself is incredibly lovely.

Now, because there are just so many characters I love, I must list a second favorite. And that would be Bob!! Previously, I’ve said Linda, and don’t get me wrong, I still love her. She’s hilarious and amazing and truly the best wife (🎶 Best of Wives and Best of Women 🎶) but there’s just something about Bob that’s so relatable to me. He’s always tired but always tries his best. Not to mention that his passion for cooking and feeding people is just so sweet 🥹 He loves making food for people and having food bring people together!! It’s so lovely.

Bob is also super Introverted which I relate to very hard. He has a hard time making connections with other people, and has a tight-knit circle (AKA his family) that he prefers spending his time with. And he sometimes has difficulty talking to people without coming across as weird, which I also relate to. Plus, his little quirks are so endearing, like talking to inanimate objects and pretending they’re alive. And getting so hilariously excited about Thanksgiving 🤣

And Bob and Gene together brings one of the most underrated and sweetest relationships in the Belcher family. Their Father/Son relationship is always so adorable to see. The Laser-Inth will forever be my favorite Bob and Gene episode, and probably solidified these two as my favorites.

As for my least favorite, at first I was going to say that’s difficult, because I love almost every character in the show for one reason or another. But then I realized what the obvious choices are: Gloria and Al. They are the absolute worst. Linda deserves good, doting parents, and these two are the complete opposite of that in every way. Sure, maybe they were slightly better when Linda and Gayle were younger, but definitely not now. The Terminilator II: Terminals of Endearment really solidified just how awful they truly are.

Linda dropped everything to help them at the airport, even forcing Bob to close the restaurant for the rest of the day. Then the entire family went on a wild goose chase trying to track down both Gloria and Al, who somehow kept escaping from their line of sight. Only to find out that these two could’ve bought Al’s cream at the airport themselves the whole time. Not to mention the fact that they found out that Gloria just stole Bob’s charger and refuses to admit it. They keep making excuses for their horrible parenting and Linda just has to deal with it, which is wildly unfair.

Plus, Gloria once told Linda that they aren’t the type of people who build things?? Who says that to their daughter?? These two frustrate me to no end. Definitely the worst characters in the show, no contest.

Tina gets an honorable mention simply because of how relatable she is and how sweet she is. She just has such a kind heart like Gene (except when it comes to Tammy ☠️). But that’s okay, because Jimmy Jr. loves it when she’s mean 😌

WALLY WEST AND LINDA PARK ARE HAVING A BABY THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

As a self certified Wally West fan I can’t believe I’m so late. I’ve been somewhat up to date but apparently I missed the biggest news ever.

It should’ve been me but that’s beside the point. This is also like the first time in a while we’re any of the superhero’s are having kids and permanent change.

Like the last time this happened and the kid stayed was way back with Damian and Jon Kent.

And that brief time Starfire was technically a mom to some rando teeen but we don’t talk about that.

Im so excited DC has finally been giving my baby boy the respect he deserves and I’m here for it.

Irey and Jai are gonna be big siblings, Bart and Ace basically uncles
