Hellsing Liveblog Ch. 41-44
THERE’S A LONDON CONFLAYRATION OF SAVINGS AT MENARDS!
Okay, these next four chapters each have their own title, so these are “The Screamer”, “Aubird Force”, “Gun Bullet” and “Baloon Fight”. Seriously? “Gun Bullet?” I looked it up and yeah, it’s the name of a video game, like “Baloon Fight” and “Final Fantasy” and so forth, but it’s a stupid title.
Anyway, Milennium invaded London last time, and Alexander Anderson showed up with a contingent of assassins from Section XIII, the Iscariot Organization. They were ordered to stay out of the conflict, but Anderson found Sir Integra cornered by Nazi Vampires and just couldn’t stay out of it.
Meanwhile, Iscariot’s leader, Bishop Enrico Maxwell, is chillaxing on the coast of France. Specifically, he’s on the opposite side of the Strait of Dover, which I guess puts him near the town of Calaism which is as close as he can be to London without leaving Continental Europe. Point here is that he’s been monitoring the Millennium invasion of England very closely, at least when he’s not taking a nap.
One of his aides wakes him up to inform him of recent developments, including a vampire attack in the White House. We don’t get a lot of details, but apparently Millennium got a Presidential aide to sell out their country in exchange for that sweet, sweet artificial vampirism, and they became a sleeper agent for the Major. When I watched the OVA in 2016, I remembered some mention about something going on in the USA, but it wasn’t Millennium opening up a second front, it was just an isolated vampire attack designed to keep the U.S. distracted from the invasion of London.
And I guess this explains all those arrows on the big world map in the Major’s blimp. His true objective has always been Alucard, and the attack on London is part of that plan, so everything else we’ve seen has simply been a means to achieve that end. Earlier, the Major claimed that his Last Batallion of 1000 vampire soldiers was the equal to an army of one million humans, but they’re still not unbeatable. If the RAF had managed to shoot down those blimps over the Atlantic, that would have put an end to their little pary before it could start, and if the U.K.’s allies could send in some bombers, they could neutralize Millennium pretty quickly, even if it meant turning London into a crater. At this point I’m not sure there’s much left of London to save anyway.
But the Major took all of this into account, and that’s why he set up all these sleeper agents to activate at the decisive moment. They disrupted communications across Great Britain, and they threw the U.S. into utter chaos, preventing Britain’s staunchest ally from interfering. It’s probably safe to assume that they did the same thing with other NATO member nations as well.
Maxwell isn’t too concerned about the United States because it’s just one vampire, and he’s already got people on the scene to take out that vampire if and when the situation gets out of hand. See, Iscariot is the Catholic counterpart to England’s Hellsing. They’re also a secret anti-monster force, but in this situation, Maxwell isn’t in any hurry to respond to this crisis. As far as he’s concerned, this whole Millennium invasion works to his favor, so he’s letting things play out for as long as it continues to suit his interests.
And so we have in the Hellsing story this threefold conflict. The Major’s Millennium vs. Maxwell’s Iscariot vs. Hellsing’s uh, Hellsing. In theory, Hellsing and Maxwell should be on the same side, but in practice they’re bitter rivals, owing to the schism between Catholics and Protestants. Early in the story, we learned that there was a treaty between Iscariot and Hellsing, with each side respecting the other’s jurisdiction, but places like Northern Ireland are a grey area, and zealots like Anderson and Maxwell aren’t always respectful of the agreements, since they deem Protestants as heathens beneath contempt. The difference between Maxwell and Anderson is that Anderson has a sense of honor, which is why he respects Alucard and Sir Integra as warriors, if not allies.
Maxwell, on the other hand, is solely interested in power. He sees the carnage unfolding in London and seeks only to use this as a way to invade Britain and claim it for the Vatican. It’s an interesting development, because he was the one who seemed so outraged by the traitors within the Church who helped Millennium during World War II. Through his inaction, he’s helping Millennium today, but he doesn’t see any moral problem with that, because he’s still loyal to the Vatican in his efforts.
So Maxwell’s ultimate goal here is to invade England himself, and he’s got an army of troops to do it. I don’t know why they’re all dressed like Klansmen. I could probably find out what these guys’ exact role is in this fantasy version of the Catholic Church, but suffice to say that these are roughly 3000 humans armed with anti-vampire weapons collected by Iscariot’s sister organization, Section III, the Matthew Organization. Together, they declare themselves as the Ninth Crusade, and Maxwell is promoted to Archbishop as he assumes command of the force. “Ninth Crusade” is based on the historical Crusades during the 11th, 12th, and 13th Centuries. The numbering of the Crusades is kind of subjective, but the 8th Crusade was in 1270, and I guess Kouta Hirano decided that this was the last one that counted, so Maxwell’s party is number 9.
One matter does give Maxwell pause: a report comes in that the H.M.S. Eagle is slowly moving towards London. Recall that Alucard is stuck on the Eagle, and both Millennium and Maxwell seem to have written him off, but now he’s heading back to England.
But Maxwell isn’t worried because he also knows his advance squad, led by Anderson, has captured Sir Integra, and she’s Alucard’s master, so that ought to be enough to neutralize him. Uh, not sure that’s how it works, but okay. He orders his troops to proceed with his plan.
Back in London, Anderson’s team have killed the Millennium troops who were threatening Sir Hellsing, but they lost about half of their guys in the battle. Heinkel Wolfe wants to take Hellsing captive, but she refuses to submit to them, and doesn’t care that Heinkel is holding a gun on her. Yumi suggests tying Integra up, but Anderson won’t have that. He even goes so far as to order his team to escort Integra back to her home.
Speaking of Integra’s home, it’s under attack. Zorin Blitz has been sent to Hellsing Manor, but her orders were to wait. She watches as the Major fires V1 rockets at the house, but then the rockets all get shot out of the sky. What’s happening to all the rockets?
Um, this happened, you Nazi assholes. Seras Victoria’s up on the roof, shooting anti-aircraft guns like they’re small pistols. Because she has vampire strength, you see. Also keen vampire aim, too.
Downstairs, the Wild Geese are defending the building, and she and Pip Bernadotte banter back and forth. Not sure why the manga translation calls him “Vernedead”. Is that even close to a real name?
Blitz realizes that they won’t last long against Seras’ firepower, so if the blimp is going to crash, it might as well crash straight into Hellsing HQ.
Except Seras shoots grenade launchers at the blimp, causing it to crash before it can get close to the building. Don’t fuck with Seras, is the moral of this story.
I’m a little confused about Zorin’s actions here. I thought she was directly ordered not to attack, but then the Major fired on the manor instead, so that was what she was supposed to wait for, wasn’t it? Any action she took afterward was in self-defense, as Seras would have shot her blimp out of the air whether Zorin attacked or not. But I’m pretty sure Zorin defied the Major’s orders here, although I’m not quite sure how.
Then again, she does lead a ground attack on the Hellsing HQ next time, so this alone might be what the Major warned her about. We’ll get there when we get there.

I saw a Witcher/Hellsing crossover mentioned in the tag and I was just inundated with ideas for it, so I’ll ramble here instead of attaching a tl;dr to that post. I’m a huge fan of the Witcher, and yet somehow I’ve never actually considered a Witcher AU for Hellsing (and Andercard of course; it’s my modus operandi). This is based on the Witcher games, books, and a little bit of the The Witcher RPG since the Netflix show isn’t my thing.
First of all, for the unfamiliar:
Witcher = a person (usually as a child) that has been mutated and trained to be a monster hunter. They have greater endurance, enhanced healing, enhanced senses, are able to drink potions that would be deadly to the average person, and can perform a small degree of magic called ‘signs’. One can tell a person is a Witcher by their eyes, since they look like cats eyes. Sometimes Witcher’s have other indications, but the eyes are the most consistent feature.
To become a Witcher, a candidate must go through three trials. All of them are exceptionally difficult and painful. The first two trials, the Trials of Grasses and Dreams, basically break down the body through use of various potions and rebuild it, while the third is basically a test for those who survive the first two trials. Very few children put through the trails survive; sometimes there’s only one survivor among those brought in to undergo the trials, and those who die do so in complete agony. Understandably, many Witcher’s are bitter about this whole ordeal and resent being turned into what they are. Witcher’s are also regarded with suspicion and dislike and no better than the monsters they kill, which makes being a Witcher even more torrid.
Vampires = vampires in the Witcher aren’t like your traditional vampires. They’re a race rather than creatures born of humans and they reproduce as any other creature does. Lesser vampires are generally unintelligent, beastly, bat-like creatures, while Higher vampires are intelligent and near indistinguishable from a human. Higher vampires often live among the other races and can integrate well, though some choose to live only among their own, and a rare few even stay with Lesser vampires. While Higher vampires are very different from their Lesser counterparts, they can turn into giant bats or similar creatures.
Higher vampires also don’t need blood to subsist. They can eat whatever they like, but some vampires do drink blood because blood is addictive to them and offers an experience not unlike drinking alcohol. Blood also has rejuvenating and strengthening qualities to it. Lesser vampires do seem to drink blood as part of their diet.
Honestly, Witcher vampires require a lot of explanation, so here’s the wiki for them. They’re a really interesting take on vampires.
Conjunction of the Spheres = a point in history where different dimensions collided with the world of the Dwarves and Gnomes and various different races fell through rifts and got trapped there. At the time the books start, they’ve all been there for well over a millennia and have thoroughly integrated.
Anderson:
Since Nilfgaard is based on the Roman Empire and has a religion functionally similar to Catholicism, I think it’d be appropriate to place Anderson as being from there. He’d be proud of being Nilfgaardian and would introduce himself as a Witcher of Nilfgaard alongside mentioning his guild. But being a Nilfgaardian Witcher is kind of an oxymoron since the Witcher schools were around before Nilfgaard started spreading through the South, and Witcher’s aren’t actually wanted or really used there anymore... in fact, the school most strongly associated with Nilfgaard - the Viper school, which is where I’m placing Anderson - was straight up destroyed by Nilfgaard. An Emperor (Upsurpur of Fergus var Emreis, specially) tried to take over the School of the Viper, failed, and then the Nilfgaardian army destroyed their keep and banned the Viper Witcher’s from entering core Nilfgaardian cities. Nowadays, most Nilfgaardian’s barely know what Witcher’s even are. Viper Witcher’s are thoroughly displaced; unwanted and relatively unknown in the South, reviled in the North, and with no keep to take refuge in, but Anderson still considers himself Nilfgaardian and is loyal to the Empire and the Great Sun despite no longer being welcome in his home city. He’s also has loyalty to Emhyr because he always regarded Fergus’ son as the rightful Emperor during the Usurpers reign and he’s happy when Emhyr returns to take the throne.
Before all that happened, Anderson grew up in various orphanages in Nilfgaard, going first from a decent one in the City of Golden Towers, and then to an over-packed and impoverished one closer to the border. Support for the orphanage eventually fell through, and almost all the children ended up at the Viper school when a Viper Witcher saw an exciting opportunity to expand the guild and took all the boys. Anderson went on to become a Witcher, while all but one other orphan died during the trials.
The potions used on Anderson were experimental and had a lot of vampire components for regeneration purposes. Anderson has a chip on his shoulder about that and specialises in hunting vampires as both a consequence of his hatred, and because his enhancements make it easier for him than his fellow Witcher’s.
Continuing under the read more since this is getting long.
Since Anderson’s trials emphasised regeneration, he has very accelerated healing and benefits hugely from Witcher healing potions. To accommodate his frequent use of potions, Anderson has a very high tolerance, which has been strengthened by both himself and teachers in his youth by repeatedly testing his limits. In battle, he tends toward longer blades than his fellow Viper’s and keeps a multitude of them on hand. He’s particularly good at using them as projectiles. His signs are used on occasion, but not often; everything but his Yrden and Quen are relatively weak. Sometimes he uses potions to bump up his Igni.
He’s also just a well-read and educated as he is in manga/OVA. The School of the Viper highly valued knowledge, so all Witcher’s received a decent education. Anderson built on this by attending lectures at academy's during his journeying and has visited and appreciated Oxenfurt Academy a few times despite it being a Northern institution.
His visual mutations are fairly mild: bright green, slitted cat eyes and slightly pointed canines. He gets the same sort of toxicity appearance as Geralt in the games if he takes too many potions (reference). He can pretend to be human with some effort, but the eyes are hard to hide since the pupils are slitted and they have a degree of luminescence.
While the keep still stood, Anderson collected information on the Wild Hunt alongside his fellow Witcher’s. He also became a teacher of young Witcher’s, but many of them died during the conflict at the keep and more still when Viper’s had to remain on the path year round instead of wintering at their home. Eventually some of the remaining Viper’s did start wintering at other places/keeps despite their reclusive, secretive nature, but a lot of Viper’s simply remained on the path year round. Anderson is among those who rarely chooses to winter and will instead travel to a warmer climate to do work.
Many provinces in the south are... fairly safe and prosperous, so Anderson often travels around all the Continent to find work. He has some disdain for Northerners like he does Protestants in canon, especially since they treat him like a monster while most Nifgaardian’s don’t even know what he is. Basically, Melitele and the Eternal Fire are stupid, Elves are hot respectable beings, Northerners are barbarians, dwarves and gnomes who??, and god don’t even get him started on Skellige. Typical Nilfgaardian in his opinions.
Alucard:
Alucard is a little harder to figure out since I like to think of Alucard as one of the vampires that arrived during the Conjunction of the Spheres, and we don’t actually know all that much about the world vampires came from... the books have basically nothing. The games expand on vampire lore by giving us three tribes and links to Etruscan civilisation, but its still slim pickings. Since Alucard stayed in society and assimilated, I think it’s fair to say he was part of the Gharasham tribe.
I also think vampires were generally peaceful since if one kills a fellow vampire in the games, they’re rejected and pursued by vampire kind. That might not be the case in the world vampires came from... but since other vampires are the only ones who can kill a fellow higher vampire, they would have to be somewhat peaceful to accommodate their longevity and near inability to die. Alucard might have warred once or twice, but it isn’t until he encounters humans that he really starts going off the rails.
Over a thousand or so years, Alucard kills humans for fun and consumption and gets into human husbandry. When the Witcher’s start being made, numerous of them try to kill him over the years, and all of them fail... until a group surges in together and defeats him. He’s consequently stuck in a state of non-death for a century before a fellow vampire locates him and helps him reform. Luckily, Alucard doesn’t return to his awful ways, because a century of being isolated and stuck in a never-ending state of fear taught him a lesson in basic decency. He develops some respect for humans, and especially for Witcher’s.
His interest turns to observing humans and Witcher’s instead, and they’re a lot more complex and interesting than he gave them credit for. Especially a certain green-eyed Witcher who seems to particularity dislike vampires... he does, however, still indulge in blood on occasion, since he sees no issue with drinking of those who seek battle with him or do ill unto others. Maybe innocents get caught up in that sometimes, but he doesn’t deliberately go after them these days.
On top of being a higher vampire, Alucard would also be an Elder vampire since that seems to be the case for all vampires who came during the Conjunction of the Spheres. It fits the fact that the Elder vampires are incredibly, incredibly powerful beings. Staying true to canon, he’s perhaps the most powerful of Elder vampires, being among the first to arrive and active enough to keep him in peak form, while other Elder vampires are withered recluses.
Since he partakes in so much blood, it could qualify as a drinking problem... but he drinks so much of it that its gotten to the point that it rarely negatively impacts him.
Together:
Alucard finds himself fixated on a vampire hunter Witcher he hears about during his journeying. They clash a few times, and Alucard thoroughly impressed with Anderson’s abilities and it convinces him to tail Anderson through the North (and occasionally in the South). It takes decades for Anderson to warm up to Alucard, but Alucard’s thousands of years old; he can wait! And he does, doggedly pursuing Anderson until they develop an amicable rivalry.
This would probably take place after or before the events of the main books (not the short story ones). Otherwise, there’d be an awful lot going on around them.

To all the curious ladies and gents out here, you may call me Imp.
Short, sweet and straight to the point. ;)
I am a lady in her twenties, with a strong penchant for roleplaying, writing, and drawing. The Holy Trinity if you will. I am a huge nerd and aesthetic lover boy - plain and simple. One of my main passions being video-games, illustrations, comics, live-action films, series and anime/cartoon shows, elements that shaped me during my years of growing up.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted my first ever ad on any website, and I was very much positively surprised by the amazing people that have reached out to me.
And since I am a greedy little mf, I wanted to fish for more partners. I’ve been roleplaying for a few years now and gradually gathered a good amount of experience throughout the years, but it’s always fun to meet and learn something new.
Name: Imp
Age: 27 years
Experience: 11 years
Preferences: 1:1 Roleplaying
Partner: Should be at least [18+], but I rather much prefer my counterpart to be 21 years or older
EMAIL: [email protected]
I am a very creative sort of individual with hundreds of ideas constantly occupying my little impish head. And I am very spontaneous too, so I can always adjust to a new setting, depending on how good and compelling the concept is.
Inspirations come from various sources and origins, be it a fandom (an already existing universe) or an original storyline. Please read through these paragraphs carefully before you decide to contact me! It’s important to avoid any misunderstanding later! And I would less likely respond to a message with the title ‘Hey, wanna rp?’, since I hadn’t had any good experiences with these said messages. Thank you.

Communication: It’s certainly chill. You can talk to me about whatever occupies your mind since I am very open and always happy to listen to others. I also tend to be chatty, sharing a meme or a joke every now and to loosen up the mood. If you consider choosing me as your roleplaying partner, be sure to maintain a certain consistency. I have nothing against going on a longer break or even a hiatus, but the whole `ghosting stick´ is something I have no patience for. So if you’re unsure of upholding a stable, long term partnership, feel free to skim past this ad.
Plotting: Also very important to note! I am fairly quick when it comes to building new characters, concepts, premises, storylines, backstories, etc… This means there is certain flexibility available which allows me to adjust. Even though it is a hobby, I am still extremely passionate about good storytelling and interesting character arcs. I hope to meet someone who is just as enthusiastic and willing to put in the same amount of effort as I am. If it’s only me who’s pulling all the weight, I will lose interest fast, just to get it out there. Aside from that, I love going a little crazy with the possibilities and push things to their absolute limits. Of course within the boundaries of the given setting.
Pairing & Romance: Okay, right off the bat, I am a hopeless romantic through and through. I enjoy good and strong chemistry between characters just as much as the next, and this will be no exception. I prefer the good ol’ MxF pairing because I have more experience with this. But I also like playing a FxF dynamic or MxM. Everyone is welcome! When it comes to pairing itself, I want to make sure our creations are compatible, for I hate forcing characters into a romantic relationship for the sake of progression. A natural flow is what I am aiming for. ;)
Mature? Yes, very much so: Adult and taboo topics are absolute. There’s no way around it because, in my stories, it is a running theme. The adult world is not easy to handle, but it’s definitely interesting to explore. That includes violence, cursing, shocking content, and all that dark stuff. My limits are few, safe for a couple of minor pet peeves that I have, I am pretty much open to some experimentation. When it comes to action-heavy scenes (be it an intimate situation between two characters or something on a cataclysmic scale), I won’t fade to black since I am not a huge fan of censoring. However, I will not force or push my partner into something they are not comfortable with. If you want to know the extent to how far I am willing to go, what sort of content or how detailed my writing will be, you can ask me directly. As for smut or lemons, whatever you call it, it will never be the focus of any of my roleplays, but I enjoy a good erotic scene with a lot of tension (if they are good).
Boundaries: Not a big fan of things like pedophilia, necrophilia, scat, bestiality, or those dreaded ‘futas’.
Inspirations and interests: There’s a pretty broad spectrum of what I deem interesting and inspirational. From fallen angels and demon/monster hunters, mages, criminal masterminds, cybernetically enhanced characters to futuristic dystopian settings, ancient kingdoms who have fallen against the test of time. All of it causes my heart to skip a beat. For original content, I’ll just give a brief list of bullet points of the general themes that fall in line with my current interests.
Writing: My texts are lengthy, detailed, and elaborate. Third-person is usually my preferred way of playing my character unless there’s a special case where an exception can be made. Word count usually fluctuates, though I have a standard form of 400-500+ words per response. It also highly depends on the given situation. I don’t want to set anything in stone… just to give you a basic idea of what you’re in for. I also expect my partner to have an at least adequate, if not decent grasp on basic grammar and punctuation.
Doubling: Yes, absolutely! If you are prone to doubling, chances are I might accept you as my partner straight away! Although I have nothing against the simple form of roleplaying, doubling is something I’ve done since my first time joining.
Characters: Very character-driven with the main focus being on interaction. I take my time writing characters and love nothing more than well-structured sheets that illustrate the vision of their creator. (But!) There’s no need to write 10-20 pages worth of character information, but I wouldn’t want to limit you either. As for the depiction of the given character, I won’t be as presumptuous as to tell you what sort of medium you can and cannot use. Face claims such as photos of real models, illustrations, 3D models, drawings or descriptions are all okay. As long as it gets its point across, I am happy.
Aversions: A few minor things that irritate me, or let’s say, aren’t really my style are one-liners, low effort responses and out of character behaviors in canon characters. We all have different takes on characters, which is totally fine by me since I basically do the same. Though if the character acts and behaves unlike their personality dictates, it will break the immersion. I hope to stay true to my own words when saying this. If it happens on my side, just let me know! Another pet peeve of mine is that one plot that has been done time and time again…. and I’ve grown quite jaded towards it, which is ‘supernaturals trying to fit into human society’ thing… I mean, I’m not opposed to borrowing from this idea, but for me, it grew old pretty fast. Speaking from experience.
Passione: My wish is to find a partner whom I can have a good time with and develop some chemistry. After all it is a fun hobby. We both should have fun with what we’re writing. Brainstorming among other things is one of my favorite things to do. To see how things unfold and how the characters react to the given situation is the highlight of any story.

FANDOM:
I love roleplaying fandoms just as much as I have a blast with building something original universes. Worldbuilding is my preferred cup of tea… but if we opt for something more fandom inspired, I highly welcome in on expanding on the given universe and add some original lore too!
Hellsing: Haven’t done that one before and I am curious as to how things play out, especially in such a dark and mystifying universe like Hellsing. There’s a lot of subject matter that we can delve into, plus I am a big fan of powerful vampire characters!
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: I would love you for this. No, seriously, I would. This fandom has sucked me into a downward spiral and there’s no possible chance of escaping this inescapable void. The absolute insanity of this franchise had me hooked from the second I laid eyes on it and I would be forever ecstatic if you’d message me on behalf of roleplaying Jojo. I have plenty of ideas for this one, just you wait.
Full Metal Alchemist: One of my favorite mangas and animes ever made. Recently I’ve begun rewatching FMA Brotherhood and felt a small hint of nostalgia swelling inside my blackened heart. I’d be open to play it, though it is not one of my top cravings at the moment.
Justice League / Young Justice / Justice League Dark: Huge DC fan, though I much prefer the animations and comics over the live-action cinematic. Let’s just say, I like the expansive and dynamic set of possibilities and deep, well-written cast. For instance Hellblazer Constantine or Raven.
Bayonetta: Need I say more? Let’s dance boys!
APH Hetalia: That includes the 2P version ;)
The Boys: Well.. the 2nd season came out. And I am simply stoked.

ORIGINAL:
Supernatural: From angels to demons, from gods to monsters, I’ve seen it all and I absolutely love it. There can be any sort of creature or being involved, ranging from vampires to sirens to elves, you have it. However, I’ve never done something quite relating to angelic beings and their offspring before. I’ve read up on Nephilim and angels and found it rather fascinating, and it’s a different approach from the usual vampire vs werewolf cliche.
Crime and intrigue: I never stray too far from the supernatural path, but hell, there’s nothing better than some good old gritty mafia inspired stories with a complex cast of characters and a solid storyline.
Sci-fi and urban fantasy: So this could be basically anything from genetically engineered superhuman (superheroes / - villains) with a dark take on the human psyche, dismantling the idea of heroism and villainy. Or a world where mankind began their interstellar journey to colonize neighboring planets, galaxies before transcending their own humanity by merging themselves with deadly technology. I have a few plans for this…
Historical and mysterious setting: So one of my favorite eras is the Victorian time period, 30s - 40s - 80s, Renaissance or Ancient times during the rise of the Egyptian / Roman / Sumerian Empire. During these times, a dark discovery was made by man, learning that they were not alone in this world. In fact, they weren’t even the supreme race that destined themselves to dominate the world, for another race of humanoids have lied dormant deep beneath the earth, slumbering through the millennia only to be re-awakened by a cataclysmic event. These ancient humanoids are gods among men, superior in every way imaginable, and they have made it their mission to reclaim their right to rule. But their nature is not what most people think it is…
The idea: I have an idea for a plot, in which I can give you if you ask for it. It is however merely a suggestion for what we could write - not a mandatory thing. If you don’t like the idea, we can always figure stuff out and keep on home-brewing till we find something we both can enjoy. There’s no need to immediately end things if the first thing doesn’t really fire you up.

PHYRE
♪The other night dear, as I lay sleeping♪
Once that first tear broke free, the rest followed in an unbroken stream. I bent forward where I sat on the floor and pressing my palms to the mat, I began to cry with the force of a person vomiting on all fours.
♪I dreamed I held you in my arms♪
"Phyre?" I rose my head up, and through my blurry vision, I saw a figure run into the room and crouch down to me. Seconds later, the presence of long arms was wrapped around me. "Sweetie, what's wrong?"
I knew that voice. That sweet voice that calmed me in my never-ending abyss of darkness. That shining light that pulled me through.
I turned my head, but only slightly, to be met with those bright violet eyes, that now held concern and worry. "It's okay, honey. Mommy's here."
♪But when I awoke, dear, I was mistaken♪
"Zinnia! Get over here and make me my dinner, now!" I flinched at the ear-pounding volume of his voice and a flash of fear ran through those eyes as she quickly released me.
"C-coming, dear!" She gave a smile, before standing up and running out of the room.
I savored that warm feeling I had with her. That I always had with her. But...when he walked by and stopped at the door, my blood ran cold.
He turned to me and displayed his sinister teeth as he pulled out a very large and very sharp blade that gleamed at me as if it was grinning at me.
My breathing turned into rapid gasps as I crawled away and quickly stood up. But, a yelp of pain escaped me as he ran up behind me and locked my arms behind my back while keeping an arm at my neck.
"Hey, sis. You like my new toy?"
He brought the tip of the blade to the outer shell of my eye, centimeters away from touching it, but he did manage to prick the single tear that formed over my glazed eyes.
His laughter stopped my breathing. "No? Let me show you what I can do with it."
What? H-he's not gonna…
"Ahhhhhhh!!!" The piercing coldness of the blade left a hot patch on my right shoulder.
Another chuckle echoed in the room. "You know something, Phyre? You're really pretty. And innocent. And delicate, like a flower. That's all you'll ever be."
"Baaah! P-please, Lucan, stop!!! It hurts!!"
"You're weak! Pathetic! And now, my dear flower, you will have the mark to prove it."
♪So I hung my head and I cried♪
As the never-ending burning torture seemingly continued, I soon realized there was no stopping it. I was weak. I couldn't stop him. So, I let my tears fall, I let my heart be swallowed up by the darkness, and my head fell.
All I saw through the fuzziness was the floor and the salty wet droplets that fell onto it.
°°°
*gasp*
With a dropped jaw, buggy eyes, and sweaty palms my hot, salty head popped up from my warm pillow in a heart-pounding state of emergency. After a second of massively intense panic where I zoom into brain-rushing, adrenaline-gushing overdrive, it just suddenly just dawns on me…
It was all just a dream.
It was all just a dream.
It was all just a dream.
"Sleep well?"
My hand shot out from under my pillow, my senses now fully awakened as I aim my pistol at the intruder in the dark corner of my room.
"Did you know you whisper as you sleep? Funny, I saw you as being a sleepwalker."
That voice. It's a deep voice. So, I'm pretty sure it's not Integra.
Definitely not Walter, he's too proper to sneak into someone's room. That leaves…
"Alucard." My groggy voice whispered into the darkness.
I allowed my eyes to fully adjust, so I saw the figure sitting in a chair, no longer wearing his hat or goggles, until I dropped my arm on my bed. My eyes rolled as I fell back on the soft bed and sighed.
He grinned as I let my eyelids flutter shut and snuggled into my pillow. "I didn't know you had a kink for watching girls sleep."
His grin had stretched further. "I simply enjoy the peacefulness of hearing your soft snores."
A small smile made its way on my lips. "Yeah. Whatever you say, Edward Cullen."
The dark laughter that came from echoed in my ears. "You are evermore interesting, my beloved flower."
I unintentionally flinched as my eyes opened back up. "What?"
I heard a creek, then silence. I'm assuming he stood up. "You are very intriguing, my-"
"W-Why did you call me that?" My cursed stuttering voice betrayed me.
The silence only fueled my curious, yet impatient emotions. That was until I felt a soft material slowly run up the base of my arm.
Is he...stroking me?
"What are you doing?" He didn't seem to hear me-that or he was just ignoring me.
"So warm...and smooth...and soft..."
My brows had furrowed at this point. "Um...shouldn’t you be checking up on the new recruit?"
His hand traveled up to where I felt his gloved hand lightly caress my face. It was as if he was afraid he'd break me. "My dear...my queen...my beloved flower..."
What is he talking about-wait, wh-what is he…
I felt his hand travel downwards from my neck to my collarbone, and then lower, until...
Woah!
I slapped his hand away and quickly got out of bed. "You're getting too friendly there, Count Chocula."
"Am I interrupting something?"
Bah! What the-
I turned around and sighed at the blonde leaning in the doorway with Walter right behind her.
"Interrupting? Oh, you mean the Vampire that not only watches girls in their sleep but also gets a good feel of them. That about sums it up, ri-"
I turned to the culprit, but surprise, surprise, he was not there.
Walter and Integra looked at each other, while I was just about ready to kill everyone.
"Aaaaaah!"
My brows furrowed as I looked around for the source of the scream while Integra smirked. "It seems our newest recruit has awakened."
I rolled my eyes and walked over to my dresser, then proceeded to shrug on my trench coat, slip into my boots, then put on my gloves. As I went to walk out of my room, I stopped.
Did I forget something? Sunglasses...oh!
I went back to my bed and grabbed my pistol. And once again as I went to leave the room, Integra blocked me.
I rose an eyebrow at her, but she only reached behind her and pulled out a belt.
Why would she pull out a belt? I hope it's not hers.
I looked down, but her pants did not fall off. Well, that's a relief.
I looked back up as she held the belt out to me. That was when I noticed the large Hellsing symbol carved in the buckle that was in the center.
I pointed at that symbol. "What's that?"
She wrapped the belt around my waist, which I did not expect, then buckled it and took out her cigar. "Your work I.D."
My eyebrows rose up as I looked down at the buckle, then up at her. She placed the cigar back in her mouth, then turned and walked away.
"Let's go, Phyre. We need to brief her before Alucard scares her off."
By the mention of his name, I sighed, but still followed. By the time we reached the room, the door was wide open.
"Wooooooaaaaaah!"
We all walked in and saw the girl Alucard had rescued, screaming, and of course, Alucard was standing by her bed with a huge grin.
"You're too loud! Police girl. I don't care if you are a vampire. You're still English. Have some manners."
The sound of Integra's voice made the short blonde look up, then plop down to bury her head in her knees. After a few seconds, she looked back up at the group of people in her room.
"So I'm a vampire...Sorry, but where am I?"
I smirked at the clueless vampire and gestured to her surroundings. "This is our headquarters. We're called the Hellsing organization. Basically, we are the monsters that protect England from the other monsters."
Her eyes widened. "So you're telling me...you're saying that I'm..."
I looked at Walter from the corner of my eye as he walked forward and held out a yellow Hellsing uniform. "Given your condition, you'll be working for us from now on. We've received a word of a string of vampire attacks. Go and kill the vampire, police girl."
I rose an eyebrow while the girl's eyes widened. "Wait, y-you want me to do what?"
I looked at Integra like she was crazy. "Subtleness isn't particularly your area of expertise, is it?"
She crossed her arms. "What do you mean by that?"
"What do I-The last memory she has is dying by a gunshot from that-" I extended a finger to Alucard, who was still grinning. "-She wakes up to find him beside her, and to top it off, gets informed the very man that killed her had turned her into a vampire. And now, you put her to work not even 5 minutes after she wakes up?"
There was a long moment of silence of just Integra looking at me, then Alucard, then the girl, then Walter, and finally back to me. "And your point being?"
What the hell is wrong with these people?
"Wh-I jus-you know what? I'll be in the car." I threw my arms up and with a huff, I walked out of the room.
But, I did happen to catch Walter commenting, "It is very nice having miss Laurifer back again, isn't it?"
°°°
The sun had gone to rest, the moon took his place as the darkness began to surround me. I have always liked the night, it hid my flaws, my imperfections, the scars burned onto my flesh, the stabs of knives left behind.
The woods always look different at night. Even with the glasses, everything has an unfamiliar slant to it. As if the daytime trees and flowers and stones had gone to bed and sent slightly more ominous versions of themselves to take their places.
When darkness fell, everything was at its true beauty and it was simply perfect.
'The target is moving north on Route 17 butchering whole households along the way! One has separated from the others, slaughtering twice the number of households! Do not leave a single freak standing!'
Unfortunately, by the very lovely voice of my new employer, who still hasn't paid me yet, I was reminded that I haven't gotten that vacation and I still had to work.
*sigh* It was nice while it lasted.
I sat up in the moving topless vehicle and looked over the men who also occupied it as they readied their weapons and checked for spare ammo. They were certainly better than those so-called "men", or "soldiers", or my favorite, "fearless defenders of the crown" I had the honorable joy of riding with earlier.
I glanced over at the blonde that was clutching the large gun, provided by Walter, and clenching her teeth.
"Are you prepared for what is about to happen? Just because Integra expects you to be, doesn't mean you have to pretend you are."
She looked at me in surprise and a bit of embarrassment. "I'm sorry, ma'am, I didn't mean to-"
"Ma'am?"
I looked at her with a dropped jaw, which made the match I had been chewing on fall from my mouth.
"Ma'am?!"
She jumped at the volume of my voice and stumbled over her words. "I-Uh, I was-I didn't-"
"Let me ask you something: do you enjoy being called ‘police girl’?"
"Um, well, not really-"
"Well guess what? I understand I may have a wrinkle or two, but that I certainly do not enjoy being called. So, let's make a deal, hm?"
Her frightened face turned into a one of confusion. "Um..."
"How about this-you call me by my name, the one I was given the day I was created, and I do the same, alright?"
"S-sure, alright. Then, may I have your name, please?"
I heavily sighed and took out a match from its book, and placed it between my lips. "Well, my official title, given by her majesty, is Sir Phyronela Cedrica Manchester Laurifer, but only select few, now including you, know that. But, I do go by just Phyre Laurifer."
Her jaw opened. "You were knighted by Queen Victoria?"
Well, yes, I believe I just said that.
I shrugged my shoulders. "Yes, I believe when you are made a knight of the round table, it is required."
She nearly dropped her gun, which I am pretty sure would've crushed the man’s leg that was in front of her. "You are a member of the Knights of the Round Table?"
I slowly nodded. Again, just said that.
"Yes. Now, enough about me, what is your name? And don't be shy, I just told you a highly guarded secret. It's only fair."
"Oh! It's um, Seras Victoria, Sir Phyronela."
Ew. No, we're not doing that.
"Do you have cotton in your ears? Are you partially deaf?"
"No."
"Then perhaps you choose not to listen. All know me by Phyre Laurifer."
"I'm sorry, miss Laurifer, I will try t-"
"Oh god, no. You are not Walter, so save the formalities. You will call me by my name, which is Phyre, and I will call you by your name, which is Seras. Alright?"
"Of course, um, Phyre."
Ah. That is much better.
"Well, now that that is settled..." I stood up in the moving vehicle and turned on my GPS signal, then pressed the small button behind my ear. "This is Laurifer, I'm advancing pursuit of rogue 3. Do you copy?"
'Copy that, Agent Laurifer. Would you like a briefing on the current pursuit?'
"Fill me in later. You're my eyes and ears, where is the target's location now?"
'Target is currently residing at the home of 1760 Wilkberry lane, approximately 1 minute and 12 seconds time on foot.'
"I copy."
I looked back at Seras and smirked. "Good luck on your first day. You'll need it."
I turned, then leaped off the jeep and rolled on the ground, then stood and began sprinting through the dark wooded forest.
'Rebecca Baron, 23 years of age, reportedly admitted to a psychiatric institution at age 15, the cause of turning-unknown. Recently escaped psychiatric hospitalization after killing 14 members of staff and patients resided. Said to be extremely stealthily and fast-moving. Orders: seek and destroy. Proceed with caution.'
I slowed my feet to a stop as I hopped over the wooden fence of the address and landed in a crouch.
My eyes were locked onto the shadowy figure moving throughout the house. It looked to be lazily walking around, but what I noticed was the sadistic grin and bloodstained clothes she sported.
Well, it appears I've found my doppelganger.
"Target in sight. I'm going in."
°°°
THIRD PERSON
"So both of us will have eternal life!" The fanged boy grinned as he closely held his girlfriend to his chest.
"Invincible vampires forever..." She smiled and leaned in, capturing his lips in a lustful kiss.
*buzz*
The guy pulled away from her and snarled, then pulled out a handgun from his sweatshirt and walked over to stand a few feet from the front door. It's a real shame he did because an entire hoard of bullets was shot through the door, and into the male.
"Aaagh!" The force of the bullets threw him back to fall on the floor in a bloody mess. The door glowed a bright red, then exploded to reveal a tall, shadowy figure.
Alucard shielded himself as the male brought up his gun and fired never-ending amounts of bullets at him. His medical laughter echoed. "Hahahahahahaha!"
However, it soon died down when his chamber emptied and Alucard still stood, in his defensive position.
"You don't know how to change your body into mist or a bat. You can't heal any of your gunshot wounds." He slowly began walking towards him. "And now that you're out of bullets, you can't even defend yourself. You dare to call yourself Nosferatu. You disgust me!"
Alucard's advancing footsteps made the vamp scramble to his feet and stumble to run away.
Alucard only watched with a sinister smile as he aimed his gun and fired multiple rounds over and over again, pinning him to the wall.
The male's screams filled the room but were drowned out by the gunfire. Once it ceased, Alucard ran his hand through the vamp's chest. He screamed a final time, before disintegrating in a flash of light.
Alucard snarled in victory, then placed his gun back in his holster and turned to walk out of the slaughtered house.
"Your turn, police girl."
°°°
Seras perked up from where she sat on the roof. "Yes, sir."
She looked ahead at the Vampire girl that was running from the house and down the road.
'What are you waiting for? Do it!'
"Sir, she is already five...no, six hundred meters away."
'Imagine a third eye. On your forehead, aim from there. If you shoot like a human, then you're going to miss like a human.'
"But sir..."
'Aim right for her heart. Don't worry. You'll put the bullet right through her.'
She squinted out into the darkness as she kept her sniper gun in position. "But it's so dark, and I don't have a scope."
She was oblivious to the floating Alucard that watched from behind her.
'That's a human complaint. Now, it's time to make the shot like a proper vampire!'
As Seras blinked, her eyes turned blood red and her sight stretched far across the road, giving her a clear view of the Vampire that was running away.
She clenched her teeth and pulled back the trigger.
*click* *click* *click*
Her eyes widened. "I-it's empty!"
That was when she noticed the figure sitting in a tree 15 feet from the running girl.
°°°
PHYRE
I must've waited 10 minutes, at least, for Seras to make her big opening to show off the worthy vampire she had become.
I knew since the beginning she was different from the worthless monsters I had ripped apart. I wouldn't trust my own colleagues with the knowledge of my true name, let alone one of the things I kill for a living.
But she is definitely someone worthy of the gifts she was given.
And once I noticed her gun refused to fire, I soon realized she has a long way to go until she realizes what she is truly capable of.
The target had passed me by this time. I watched her just a bit longer, before pulling out my pistol and placing it over the arm that was resting over my bent knee.
My eyes squinted in concentration. And then…
*bang*
The bullet pierced through her. Blood splattered all around, her beanie was thrown from her head and her body slid to a stop over the gravel.
I smirked, then jumped down from the tree I had been waiting in and walked out onto the road to stop in front of her body.
And...just to make sure, I kicked her arm...and her back...and her stomach, only to make sure, but she didn't move.
"Target has been terminated."
°°°
SERAS
The figure walked out into the open and who it was made my eyes fully widen. I-it was Miss Laurifer. No, it was Phyre!
And then, I realized I could actually see her...It's pitch-black, yet I can see more clearly than in daylight.
'That was a good shot. Check your magazines and better luck next time, police girl...'
There it is again...And now, I'm hearing voices, like some sort of telepathy.
My eyes tightly shut as a sigh escaped me. "It's all too fast, what on earth I'm becoming?" I looked down at the palm of my hand....I'm…
ALUCARD
How humorous. She didn't even make the kill, yet she already senses a change. If it weren't for my dear flower, the mission wouldn't be finished.
"Not yet...this is only the beginning. And there's a long road ahead of you."
°°°
PHYRE
Of course, after we finally returned, everyone went to bed. And Alucard...ugh...I don't even wanna know what he's doing.
But did I get to fall back on that soft bed? No, I get to lean back against the door to Integra's office as she reviewed the recent vampire reports.
"Too many...Far too many...Suddenly we have far too many vampires causing trouble. Third and fourth rate vampires killing randomly, keeping us busy...Pointless...Cheap...Pathetic acts of barbarism."
It really was something to think about. How could so many of them appear from nowhere? Amateurs that kill, not to feed, but for fun. And not only that, but they are all random people who haven't appeared to be true vampires. Only cheap imitations.
"It's as if someone is churning out vampires for a factory line."
She looked up from her screen when I spoke. "Precisely."
She then stood up from her desk and walked in front of it. "That is why I asked for your help. This has become a serious matter and by the Queen's permission, I have been allowed to have you join us."
The Queen's permission?
"You've consulted with Victoria?"
She crossed her arms and leave back against her desk. "She asked for you personally."
Wow. That makes me feel all tingly inside.
"Then, I have no choice. I guess I truly am a part of Hellsing now."
She scoffed. "Don't act as if you never were." She pushed off her desk and turned with her back to me. "Welcome back to the darkness, Phyre."
She looked back at me over her shoulder. "We've missed you."

Code - Realize Guardian of Rebirth (Victors path review)
So I’ve got Code - Realize Guardian of Rebirth as a Christmas gift, and I’ve finished my first route a few days ago and thought it would be time for my first review...
For me, chose Lupin would make the most sense story wise... but the game doesn’t let you. In fact, you have to see the good ending of the 4 other routes before you can even unlock Lupins path. I know the system from Amnesia and know why it is that way, but I absolutely despise that system. Because the game forces you to play the routes of boys you do not like. In Amnesia, I only liked one of the four boys and I wasn’t really happy about playing the final route either and just did it to finally unlock all the mysteries - just to get killed on the freaking very last day while I have managed to avoid all the 12 or so other possible deaths XD
So with Code Realize, I have a similar problem. When I realized that Lupin was not at my disposal I decided to switch over to Victor, simply because I felt drawn to him because I knew his voice actor from other games (among them, he is Kiros japenese voice from MLQC and he also gives his voice to Lloyd in the Trails-Saga...) and not really because of Victor himself. And although Victors character is absolutely okay, I can not say that he is my type XD I did relatively enjoy his route tho. And after I reached his Happy Ending on my very first try playing this game, now is the time to say a few words about his path.
First: Man was that one easy. I do think all in all that Code Realize is relatively “easy” as you have mostly just one decision per chapter, which yes, can still make you crash into a bad ending, but the chances to make the wrong choice are a lot less than in some other games, where you have to make multiple choices per chapter. However, Victors route was especially easy. Do to his easy to read character, it wasn’t hard to figure out what to do or say to stay on the right track. Getting that happy ending was a walk in the park, really. Lets take one of the last decisions for example, where you have to choose between either trusting him or killing yourself to save him and everyone else. Now in some other routes, killing yourself would have been the right answer, because then the LI could have heroically jump in and tell you not to give up and so on. But he wasn’t the type for that. FIRST he was the type who is totally focused on his work so that he would not have seen you try to kill yourself AND he is the kind of character that more than anything else, wants you to trust him and would not have appreciated that you were ready and willing to sacrifice yourself for the greater good. And it was easy to understand that, because he was so easy to read. And it was like that throughout the whole 13 chapters.
BTW. 13 Chapters is a good amount of chapters. Its not too long and not too short. Shortly before we FINALLY enter a route, it felt actually a bit exhausting to be honest, as they were stretching the story a bit. I mean, we started out searching for Isaac and whatever we did, we never managed to get our hands on an information that would lead us there. Instead, we were facing a Vampire Child when we actually were out there, trying to get money because we couldn’t afford our fruitless search anymore. So I was ready to feel bored, when I finally entered Victors route and things started to actually get interesting.
However... there were a lot of questionable choices made when it came to Victors-Plot. One of the biggest issue, was the chapter were they tried to infiltrate the palace. We started with the explanation that aside from Victor, only MC went on that mission, because as a woman she was less threatening... And I was rolling my eyes at that. Because yes, you totally take the girl with you, that is on the Wanted-List for several reasons AND she is of course totally not threatening at all, given the fact that one touch of her skin would kill you. Uhu... Also their ridiculous try to fool us with the infiltration-plot was making the story look stupid instead of interesting. Why tell us that the plan was to do it the direct way... just to suddenly start the next scene with “Our plan actually only begins now, that we got captured and imprisoned”, like... it made no sense at all that they first talked about a totally different plan... because no one else was listening. Instead it made the whole chapter look even more stupid. Why not say that plan A was to go the direct way and then, when they were imprisoned say that they were prepared for that and had a plan B for that case? It would have made more sense AND sounded more like they actually had everything under control.
I also dislike how in the final chapters MC all of a sudden is getting badass and puts all her training to use even tho she failed at that like just the previous chapter and almost every chapter before that. Why not showing her gradually getting better at the stuff she has been trained for the chapters before? It felt totally weird that all of a sudden, now that no one could come and save her, she suddenly gets badass and good at it too. I like badass MCs, don’t get me wrong. But it has to make sense.
When they got in contact with that poison do to the attack, it was revealed that it actually could heal her and that she was even feeling better because she breathed it in. Should that not have slowed down her chancing process, given that drinking the poison directly saved her completely? Instead, a short time later, she was feeling terrible again AND the changing-process started even sooner, instead of later. It kind of felt a bit weird.
Victor got in contact with that poison quite a lot during his life and I always wondered why it was never mentioned that he might have a lesser lifespan or something like that. But I guess they didn’t intend to destroy the happy ending, which was all in all very nice and enjoyable.
However, there is one more complain from me. The translation suddenly was really bad when Victors chapter started. Spelling and translating mistakes were everywhere, while it had been totally fine in the previous “normal” chapters. Makes you wonder if they were in a rush or if they just didn’t pay much attention to the different routes.
My next path will likely be Van Hellsing, as he is the only other character that I find interesting. I probably will use a walkthrough for the other two as I couldn’t care less about them...

Chapter 13
I cannot dream. But I can sleep.
[Beginning]
Tess is not a morning person in this form -- even when it's not the literal morning. Rejoining her as she is waking up in the mid-afternoon, I discover her thoughts are consumed by the desire to return to sleep; in this moment, she wants almost nothing more than to simply let go of consciousness. Prompted by that, I decide… this "morning"… is a good morning for me to "sleep."
Although I'm still here, inside Tess's body and mind, I do not participate. I am simply… "along for the ride." To not think, after so many hours of consuming information… It is a relief I've found to be similar to resting after a large meal. Contentment.
.
Tess stretches. There's a familiar emptiness in the pit of her stomach; one that has nothing to do with hunger. Rather, it is because it is yet another day, and she must spend it, yet again, doing things she dislikes. All in order to get an outcome she desires later on. She wishes, again, that she could return to sleep. She never slept as an Illuniran. They did not require it. But it is one of the many "alien aspects" that she has taken a liking to. She finds it comforting -- well worth the exchange of waking up afterwards. And indeed, as she slides her legs out from under the warm covers, she wakes up fully and all thoughts of sleep vanish, her resentment toward waking fading with each step.
The building is completely silent, as Tess is the only one required to be awake at this hour. Not stopping to eat, she summons the wolf pup to her side so it can accompany her to work. She "found" a job running a little pub -- to help establish a relationship with the locals. It is an easy job for her, and tonight goes no different: Tess serves food and drink to a few late-night customers, easily avoids a brawl breaking out by singing one of her songs, and she cleans the place before her shift ends.
And lastly, she makes a couple sandwiches before leaving -- to start the day's real work…
Which means it's time for me to "wake up."
The sun is setting behind her as Tess knocks on the door of Lucy's house. A familiar face answers, Van Helsing's eye peeking through the crack in the door. When he sees Tess, he disappears inside for a moment, then opens the door just long enough to allow her in. Without a word, Tess walks past the vampire hunter and the sleeping Dr. John "Jack" Seward, entering one of the bedrooms along the hallway.
"I brought sandwiches!" Tess says cheerfully. < As much as the white garlic flowers hanging from the walls and windowsill make me nauseous… I must admit they're pretty. > < The moonlight coming through the window is quite beautiful, too. Especially the way it gleams off of the silver cross on the door- > -Tess snorts a little. Just like she does every time she sees that thing. < I just can't believe they actually think those work! >
She locks the door behind her (can't have any interruptions) and sets the basket down on the dresser. Mina, Lucy's close friend, gets up from the chair next to Lucy's bed, walking over to her. Lucy stirs in her sleep; humming quietly, she sits up in bed and brushes her hair out of her eyes. "You brought our favorites again, didn't you?" Lucy whispers. "Of course~!" Tess hands Mina the two wrapped packages, and Mina takes them back over to Lucy, handing her one. They each carefully unwrap the paper, trying not to get crumbs on anything. Their first bites are accompanied by sounds of approval.
Tess glances at the chair. Normally, she'd have needed to wake them both. "So Helsing is having you stay up to watch her too, now?" Tess addresses Mina. Mina swallows, then admits, "He's getting frustrated. He's still convinced that it's a vampire causing Lucy's health to worsen, but…" She gets a strange look on her face, part guilt and part… resignation, maybe? "Well, of course nothing is working to stop it, so he's resorted to… this." "Mm," Tess nods, "I'm sure the men aren't much better?"
Lucy grimaces. She lowers her sandwich. < I think that's a "no." > "I wish I could tell them. But Dr. Helsing -- Every word he speaks to them, they take as gospel." Tears form in her eyes. "I just-" Mina sets her sandwich on the bed, leans over and hugs her.
< Well, this is uncomfortable. > Tess fiddles with the handle of a drawer on the dresser behind her. "I am sorry it's taking so long to prepare-" "-No. No, it's fine," says Lucy, pulling away from Mina's arms. "I'm grateful for what you're doing for me. Every night you come here, you risk getting caught."
"Yes, well," Tess turns and adjusts the basket, "It's much easier, now, with Mina's help. And, frustrations aside…" she smiles, "Jack only meant to help you by calling Helsing here. I don't hold that man's actions against any of you. "I mean, really," Tess chuckles, turning back with a mischievous look on her face, "how could you possibly have known Jack's old work buddy moonlighted as a vampire hunter?"
"Still, you're my friend just as much as Jack is. And Mina. And… And all of you…" < Oh no. She has that look she wears when she's about to go into an "I'm-sorry/Thank-you"-cycle! > < Nooo! I hate it when she does that! All that repetition! Please cut her off! > Lucy switches her gaze between Tess and Mina, "You're all doing so much for me. I just wish-" "-Alright, that's enough. Eat up," Tess teases, "Or will I be going hungry tonight?" "Oh! Right!"
Quickly (< And yet, still somehow ladylike. I wish I knew how she does that! >), Lucy finishes her sandwich, then holds out her right arm. < No matter how many times I do this, it still makes me feel a little… Well, not annoyed, just… awkward. > Avoiding eye contact, Tess walks over to her. Without hesitation, she takes her arm and bites. But, like always, that feeling of awkwardness disappears when Tess tastes her blood: This body's primal instincts kick in, and, instead, she's struggling to hold herself back from drinking too much.
< It's always so disappointing to not get my fill. > I play Xihrae's voice inside her head: < "Only just enough." > < I know, I know… > < Just enough to continue turning Lucy into a vampire. > < Just enough to keep Abraham Van Helsing frustrated. >
< Just enough to keep Helsing hunting US- > < -so that we, in turn, can hunt HIM. >
Finished, Tess licks the remaining blood from her lips. Lucy pulls the sleeve of her nightgown down, hiding the many pairs of pinpricks in her skin. How Hellsing manages to keep track at this point is a mystery.
"Will it be much longer? Before she turns," Mina asks. Tess walks back to the dresser, lifting the basket before answering, "Probably one more month. We should have the house ready, and Lucy's 'death' should be believable by then. Well. To everyone other than…" Tess doesn't look behind her, but she can feel worry coming from Mina's aura and Lucy's increased sadness. She puts a smile in her voice, "But, like you said. They've gone to this much trouble to help you. I'm certain, when the time comes, that they'll be nothing short of ecstatic-!"
Lucy's desperate voice interrupts her, "-And how long before then? Before… before I can tell them?" Tess hovers in front of the door. She turns, wearing a closed-eyed smile -- and a mischievous smirk. "Not long. It's just a matter of waiting for the right moment!"

/// 𝕿𝖍𝖎𝖗𝖉 𝖙𝖎𝖒𝖊'𝖘 𝖆 𝖈𝖍𝖆𝖗𝖒 ///
Hello dear roleplayers.
For those who are curious, you may call me Imp.
I’ve been hit with a stroke of fate recently which pretty much drained me of my creativity. But I am slowly recovering… and I am looking for some distraction.
I’ve been roleplaying for a few years now and gradually gathered a good amount of experience throughout the years, but it’s always fun to meet and learn something new.
I have a few original ideas that I’m very interested in trying out. The concept will be posted down below.
Name: Imp
Age: 27 years
Experience: 11 years
Preferences: 1:1 Roleplaying
Partner: Should be at least [18+], but I rather much prefer my counterpart to be 21 years or older
Timezone: Important to note! I am from Poland, so my timezone might differ from yours.
EMAIL: [email protected]
I am a very creative sort of individual with hundreds of ideas constantly running through my impish mind.
Thank you.
°°°·.°·..·°¯°·._.· ☥ ·._.·°¯°·.·° .·°°° °°°·.°·..·°¯°·._.· ☥ ·._.·°¯°·.·° .·°°°
If it’s only me who’s pulling all the weight, I will lose interest fast, just to get it out there and I will have to end the correspondence. Had that recently and wasn’t a fan of it.
There’s no way around it because, if my world, it is a running theme.
Il Passione: My wish is to find a partner whom I can have a good time with and develop some chemistry. After all it is a fun hobby. We both should have fun with what we’re writing. Brainstorming among other things is one of my favorite things to do. To see how things unfold and how the characters react to the given situation is the highlight of any story. °°°·.°·..·°¯°·._.· ☥ ·._.·°¯°·.·° .·°°° °°°·.°·..·°¯°·._.· ☥ ·._.·°¯°·.·° .·°°°
FANDOM:
I love roleplaying fandoms just as much as I have a blast with building something original universes. Worldbuilding is my preferred cup of tea… but if we opt for something more fandom inspired, I highly welcome in on expanding on the given universe and add some original lore too! The one marked with a * will be the ones I am craving the most.
Hellsing*: Haven’t done that one before and I am curious as to how things play out, especially in such a dark and mystifying universe like Hellsing. There’s a lot of subject matter that we can delve into, plus I am a big fan of powerful vampire characters!
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure*: I would love you for this.
Justice League / Young Justice / Justice League Dark*: Huge DC fan, though I much prefer the animations and comics over the live-action cinematic.
°°°·.°·..·°¯°·._.· ☥ ·._.·°¯°·.·° .·°°° °°°·.°·..·°¯°·._.· ☥ ·._.·°¯°·.·° .·°°° ORIGINAL:
My ideas for a plot are versatile in which I can give you if you ask for it (Usually the ones that aren’t listed here). It is however merely a suggestion for what we could write - not a mandatory thing. If you don’t like the idea, we can always figure stuff out and keep on home-brewing till we find something we both can enjoy. There’s no need to immediately end things if the first thing doesn’t really fire you up. The one marked with a * will be the ones I am craving the most.
I will cross the oceans of time just to find you*: So this is something that began to fascinate me more and more as time went on. Our characters existing in our current modern timeline are on the verge of a discovery that could shape the very foundation of history. After they accidentally stumble upon an artefact / edifice unrelated to any culture they’ve seen before, their presence unwittingly activates a mechanism that transports them not only to a different place, but an entirely different timeline. Upon awakening, they find themselves in a mysterious setting filled with archaic cultures, wildlife and mythological figures they believed only to be possible in fairytales. It is now up to them to navigate themselves in a time where uncertainty and superstition was rampant. Where their knowledge from the future could either prove themselves as an advantage or a fatal flaw. Every decision and word will count, forcing you to rethink and carefully plan out your actions. They also come to learn that some of these ancient myths were in fact true, and that monsters as well as godly beings did once exist. Following that trail, they will be faced with the truth as to how and why they were able to travel through time and space. But more importantly, it is where they will find their soulmates, and it isn’t where or when they think they’d be.
Supernatural*: From angels to demons, from gods to monsters, I’ve seen it all and I absolutely love it.
I have a few plans for this…
Historical and mysterious setting*: So one of my favorite eras is the Victorian time period, 30s - 40s - 80s, Renaissance or Ancient times during the rise of the Egyptian / Roman / Sumerian Empire.

Calling for dedicated roleplayers with a passion for writing
Hello! My name is Aaliyah or Ally for short, and I will cut right to the chase. I am looking for a mature role-player, preferably 21+ but will also accept 18+ (just to be sure that you are of legal age, otherwise it’ll be very uncomfortable).
As I am 26 years of age with 12 years of experience, I hope to meet someone who shares my passion in creative writing, as well as formulating interesting plots and characters.
In case you are curious about me as a person, I am a full-time student and a young writer who works at the gym on the side, but also enjoys other creative outlets such as drawing. Usually my schedule is fairly full, including the attendance of friends or family. However I always have ample time for a good roleplay. :)
I am seeking a literate writer who is committed to a long-term partnership, and by that I truly mean it. Please do not respond if you are uncertain of upholding a stable roleplay. Furthermore, I’ve noticed the “ghosting after the first few messages“ trope is a fairly widespread issue in the roleplaying scene / community. I would like to implore you from refraining it. I’ve grown quite irritated by it lately and rather like to avoid it in the near future. That way we don’t waste anyone’s time. Thank you in advance. If you are hitting a hiatus, that’s completely fine! A simple message of putting things on hold is completely sufficient, but I would like to keep in touch in case the story bears great potential. Now I have a wish, or as other say it, a certain craving for something new and fresh. And that something is quite specific, as my interests are a little unorthodox. Not the typical ‘Marvel, DC, My Hero Academia, etc’ type of stick. (Not to throw shade on them! They are great! Just not my cup of tea at the moment)
I heavily enjoy video-games, tv-shows, comics, films, books, the list goes on. Hopefully I can attract some kindred spirits.
I do roleplay both Canon and Original!
So if there’s no luck in finding a fitting Canon based story, we can always switch to original world building. First, I like to list all of my heavy cravings and interests. The ones marked in bold are usually the ones I am very willing to do.
Books:
Harry Potter Next Gen (original character cast)
True Blood
Vampire Hunter D (or Manga / Anime)
Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice
Game of Thrones
Videogames:
Dragon Age (from Origins to current instalment)
Castlevania
Devil May Cry
Infamous series
The Darkness
Smite
Star Wars the Old Republic
Webcomics:
Lore Olympus
Lookism
True Beauty
Comics:
Constantine
Hellboy
Witchblade
The Darkness
X-Men
Films:
Alita Battle Angel
Kingsmen
Vampire Hunter D
TV-Shows live action:
True Blood
The Boys
Vikings
Game of Thrones (Open for discussion. Still haven’t recovered from the season finale however…)
TV-Shows animated:
Hellsing
Castlevania (Netflix adaptation)
Devil May Cry (Anime adaptation)
Demon Slayer (I have only started watching this)
FMA Brotherhood
Jojo’s bizarre adventure
Black lagoon
As for original plots, I am very keen on urban and gothic fantasy, but also mythology as well as horror and crime and action. I have plenty of ideas up my sleeve, some of them quite fleshed out and some of them being concepts in the making. Either way, I would rather have these ideas introduced throughout email or whatever platform we choose to communicate on. Themes for an original story I am most inclined to do are:
Supernatural / Metaphysical (Demons, Angels, Spirits, Monsters, etc.)
Mystery
Crime
Action
Sci-Fi & fantasy (Aliens coming in contact with unsuspecting earthlings during the middle ages / ancient time-periods)
Urban fantasy mixed with high school / college themes (similar to Supernatural with local monsters, creatures, etc)
Now onto the qualities of what my roleplaying partner should have.
What it all entails: What the Partnership should be: I strongly encourage an active roleplayer who is not afraid of sharing 50% of ideas, plotting, length, detail but most important of all, passion. A bird cannot fly with only one wing. Communication: I love making new friends and brainstorming, and communication is the bedrock of it all. It strengthens our compatibility and the story. Should there be anything that might bother you, or if you think you are left out in some type of way (be it a mistake on my part or if we’re both at fault here), simply tell me. It really doesn’t bother me rewriting certain scenes to better fit the narrative. We can always exchange opinions and see what would benefit the story most. The Way of Writing: No one-liners. No text-talk. No half-assed replies. And certainly no ‘quality over quantity’ when you can have both. I don’t expect anyone to write a novel, absolutely not. I don’t either, but if I get the feeling of my partner wavering in their effort and not investing as much as I do, I have to give them the chop, unfortunately. Too often have I encountered partners who showed strong enthusiasm at first, but after a while… they slacked and eventually only put the adequate effort into their side of things whilst completely disregarding my characters. I hope to avoid this in the future. And now to myself and how I write: My writing: Third person perspective usually, although I have made some exceptions in my years of writing. My style is wide-ranging and flexible, which means that frequently, word count will go up 1000+ per reply - though it also depends on the given situation and partner. And yes, I do double, preferably even, most likely in a canon universe. However this again wholly depends on the type of story, partner and cast of characters. I am very open and willing to discuss.
Rating: So you are writing with some of mature age. I have 12 years of writing under my belt. There will be violence, there will be swearing, gore, intimacy, uncomfortable topics, drama, conflict and other dark themes included when you are writing with me. I have few limits but I will respect the boundaries of my partner. And lastly, I won’t fade to black or skip out on the nitty gritty, unless it doesn’t serve a particular purpose in forwarding the story.
Characters: I write canon as well as OC characters. Faceclaims, GIFs, drawings, mood boards or just a plain physical description is absolutely sufficient. Characters should be written as opulent, flawed, unique, talented, heroic, villainous, spiteful, angry, and everything in-between. In other words, don’t be scared of making them flawed.
Romance: Openly play and accept characters of both genders, preferable m x f pairings, but I am open to m x m and f x f relationships as well. I have more experience with m x f relationships, so I might be more adaptable with this one. If the chemistry of two characters compel me, I’m on board with it! When it comes to sexual scenarios and intimacy (intercourse, foreplay, all that funny business). I encourage eroticism, but always in a tasteful, sensual manner (that goes for romance as well), though it is never the main focus of any of my stories, rather a tool to further the plot. Erotica is welcome but never the focus of any kind of roleplay. Content: Drama, violence, sex, metamorphosis, symbolism, action, romance, pretty much everything is a-okay. I am not explicitly bothered by certain subjects that may be uncomfortable for the general public. Roleplays are fictional stories and we best keep treating them as such. If there are things you are uncomfortable with, name them and I shall respect those boundaries. But don’t be surprised when suddenly one of our characters bites the dust, or gets tortured, etc. It may be difficult to write and read, but it is all part of the story and a tool for furthering the plot. My roleplays imply and involve brutality, mayhem, psychological and physical altercations among other things. But I also endorse beauty, serenity and placid moments for our characters to grow in. I love it when it comes full circle… everyone- and everything has a beautiful and hideous side. Again, this is mature and I am not here to coddle, I am here for a challenge. Should I hit a hiatus myself, I will inform you as soon as possible. :)
Platforms I usually roleplay on are email and google-docs. I also have Discord in case for plotting and chatting outside of the RP. Though Google Hangouts has proven itself as a sufficient chat-medium for such things, so I rather stay with that one.
When you message me, please use the given codenames so I know what you like to specify in.
Blue Rose: Canon
Red Feather: Original
I’d be happy to receive a small description of yourself and what your passions are! :) Message me here: EMAIL: [email protected] I am very excited to hear from you! Sincerely yours -Ally

Toxic Veins (Alucard x OC): Chapter 3
Warnings: Violence, Explicit Language, Death
Pairings: Alucard x OC
Word Count: 2692
Summary: After the memorable reunion with the members of Hellsing, and the meeting of the strange vampire, Alucard, we travel to our location where we attempt convincing an entire police force to allow us to kill a legion of ghouls and their vampire leader. Well, this should be an interesting encounter. I still have a few questions regarding the nonhuman amongst Hellsing that appears to have an ego bigger than his hat. Perhaps my dear old friend Integra will be kind enough to answer those questions.
Let's find out, shall we?
The entire atmosphere stood quietly. The only sound was the whirling blades of the helicopter.
My lids were half-lidded, covering the magenta orbs that stared mindlessly at the earth below. My arms lay comfortably crossed as my hair blew in my face, tickling my skin. That was when I caught sight of the red figure walking below, disappearing into the forest.
"When were you planning on telling me you had a vampire working for you?" I moved my head to look at Integra, who sat with her arms and legs crossed on the opposite side of me.
"When it became relevant. As it did when you agreed to work with us." She simply said.
"And why are you allowing him off on his own? You know how reckless they can be, yet he's killing his own kind alone. Are you certain you can trust him?"
She looked at me in absolute seriousness. "I trust him with my life. As much as I trust you. He's not just any other pitiful vampire you have killed before, Phyre."
Now that piqued my interest. I rose my eyebrows. "And what makes him different from others?"
There was a moment of silence before she sighed. "Do you remember a certain individual known as ‘Count Dracula’?"
Count Dracula? What's that got to do with anything? We're talking about Alucard.
Wait.
D-r-a-c c-a-r-d u-l-a A-l-u
Isn't Alucard just Dracula spelled backward? Does that mean Alucard is...
My head snapped to the right to stare at her. "You didn't."
"Actually, I didn’t. My father did. I just happened to inherit him after his death."
My eyes widened. "Why the hell would Arthur keep Dracula as a servant? And how, he's Dracula?!"
Her lips puckered. "Well, technically he is Vlad Tepes III—"
"I don't care what his name was, Integra! He is the king of vampires that Abraham Van Helsing supposedly killed, why of all places would he end up as your servant?"
She closed her eyes and rubbed her temples to rid of the headache that had just appeared.
"Alucard is an ancient vampire who was pressed into service by my ancestor, Abraham Van Helsing, forever bound as a servant of Hellsing after his supposed death. After the death of my father, who was Alucard's previous master, I became the head of Hellsing, along as his new master. He serves me and carries out every order I give him with loyalty and absolute trust. Now, does that satisfy your curiosity?"
I'm not sure. I'm still processing that the king of vampires, the one monster my ancestors were determined to kill, was my coworker.
I hummed and looked back down at the forest. "Yes."
She breathed a sigh of relief and laid her head back, closing her eyes to rest.
"For now, at least."
Her eyes opened back up with a sigh, that made a smirk crawl up my face.
°°°
"Sir Integra, we are nearing Cheddar." Walter's voice played over the speaker.
I looked over at Integra as she took out her gun and checked her ammo, before cocking it.
"Is your plan to kill the policemen? If not, I'd recommend a more advanced piece of weaponry."
She looked up at me. "I could say the same to you. It wouldn't do any good, besides, they're already dead."
I rose an eyebrow. "You seem certain of that."
"I am."
"Then why bother coming if you don't plan to save them?"
She gave me a knowing look. "These are scared humans who don't have a clue what they are doing. They don't have the knowledge, nor the proper tools to stop what's happening, so instead, they send in their troops. They might as well be burying them in their graves."
I watched as she hid her gun in her jacket. "Our job is to properly rid of the problem and prevent an increase in the body count. Now..." As the chopper neared the ground, she stood up and looked down at me. "Are you ready?"
°°°
I poked my head out and followed after Integra as she exited the chopper and walked through the camp up to a large tent that was heavily guarded by soldiers. My eyes looked upon them as they stared at us in both cautiousness and curiosity.
I glanced back at Walter, who closely followed, then walked next to Integra and lowered my voice. "Do you honestly think they will believe a word we say?"
She looked at me from the corner of her eye. "It's all in a matter of persuasion, Phyre. You should know plenty about that, considering your preferred tactics."
A small smirk curved at my lips. Maybe it wouldn't be that hard to believe.
°°°
"What? Are you really serious?"
Apparently, it was.
"Do we appear to be in a humorous mood, officer?" My emotionless face stared directly at the group of officers across from us, specifically at the one who spoke.
"I'm sorry, but could you perhaps repeat yourself one more time? Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, is it?" He asked at Integra, whose back was to him as Walter removed Integra's coat, letting her blonde hair fall down her shoulders, and bowed.
"Very well. I'll start again." She turned and looked at him through her lenses. "They're ghouls, and the village of Cheddar has become a den of ghouls. A ghoul is what happens to deflowered humans when they're bitten by a vampire. They're much like zombies under the control of a vampire. And that means there's a vampire somewhere in Cheddar." She rose her hand, signaling for Walter.
The officer looked at her as if she was mad and laughed. "Hmph, that's ridiculous. Vampires? Do you really expect me to believe this occult nonsense?" He questioned as Walter opened a container of cigars for Integra.
I narrowed my eyes at him while Walter glared at him from the corner of his eye.
Integra picked up a cigar and put it to her lips. "Why on earth would a cheap bureaucrat like yourself know anything on the matter? How dare you even question my credentials? The Hellsing Organization has been defending the British Empire from such monsters for generations!"
By looking closely at the officer, I saw the fear shaking in his eyes. She looked at me and nodded for me to speak while Walter lit her cigar.
"Allow me to illuminate. The Hellsing Organization is a special operations agency charged by Her Majesty with the duty of finding and eradicating all supernatural and satanic threats to the Church and Crown."
I lowered my red tinted shades to stare directly at the man who spoke. "There's a vampire in Cheddar that's controlling the ghouls—a monster from the pits of hell. Send in all the troops you wish, send every last man under your command, they'll end up little more meat. Or they may suffer a worse fate. When a vampire drinks from a virgin of the opposite sex, a new vampire is created. Otherwise, your people become food, and then join the vampire's unholy legion of ghouls."
"Sir, I've completely lost radio contact with Squads 2 and 3." The correspondent sitting by the radio informed.
One of the officers stepped up and walked forward. "Bollocks. What's going on? Report. Come in!"
Integra blew out a puff of smoke. "If you are to stop the ghouls from further multiplying, you're going to have to terminate that vampire at the source." She looked at them with a small smirk. "And this is where Hellsing comes in. We will take care of your vampire."
The officers looked at her in disbelief. "That's... insane."
She turned and crossed her arms at them. "I can assure you, gentlemen, that one of our finest anti-vampire field agents is already in route to Cheddar. This will be settled in a matter of hours."
"What sort of agent would handle this?"
"When dealing with monsters— vampires especiallyI promise there is no better expert walking this earth."
Yes, no better exp—wait.
I looked at her with furrowed brows. Did she just...?
Meanwhile...
ALUCARD
My footsteps made me known by the crunch of the leaves beneath my feet. I was surrounded by the beauty of the night, yet only one stayed on my mind...
My beloved queen has returned to me. She has yet to remember our past, but that doesn't matter. All that matters is that I can see her beauty every morning, afternoon, and evening.
Oh, the smell of her blood running beneath those veins hiding under her smooth rose-tinged ivory skin was intoxicating.
I took a moment to gaze up at the illuminating glow of the evening moon. "How beautiful... Nights like this make me want to have a bite to drink. Yes... I couldn't imagine a more... perfect evening." My eyes glowed a bright red beneath the hue of my orange goggles.
My beloved Nica...if only you were here beside me...that would make it truly perfect.
I resumed my walking through the green forest. Once I rid of this, I shall return to you and we will once again be reunited...iubita mea de flori. (My beloved flower)
"Aahhhh!!!" The scream tore through me like a great shard of glass. I felt my eyes widen and pulse quicken, my heart thudding like a rock rattling in a box. The scream was desperate, terrified...human.
Nica?
Flashback...
"Vlad! Please! Don't do this to me...please don't do this to us!" I peered down at my queen and snarled.
How dare she! She doesn't have any faith in me—I can see the lies written all over her face!
She looked up at me with tears streaming down her face. "I-I love you..."
My glowing red eyes had narrowed into slits as I knelt down to grab her chin. She whimpered in pain at the bruises I was sure to leave on her. "Lies! You filthy wench! You never loved me, it was all lies!"
There was a pure shock in her eyes. "V-Vlad, I would never—"
"Just admit it! You don't love me—you are afraid of me! That's why you went to him!"
"No, I only love you, Vlad, please!"
"Shut your mouth! You don't think I know where you go—what you do after dusk? You make me sick! I don't need you!" I made her look at my three newest brides that awaited my company on my plush bed, which was sure to break her.
She looked at them with a hurt expression. "No. Y-you wouldn't."
I grinned. "Oh, Nica, I already have." I threw her to the ground. "You've been replaced. Now get out of my sight!"
Nica...
As I walked forward, I realized my queen was safe, with my master. The scream had come from a human police girl that was currently being groped by the vampire I was sent to kill.
Yes. I was to rid of him—grind him to dust, and only then shall I see my beloved. I grinned as I approached them.
He looked back to stare at me. "Who the hell are you?!"
I peered at him through my goggles. "Your death."
He did a maniacal laugh. "My death? Oh, really? My god, this is pathetic." He chuckled, then outstretched his arm. "Kill him."
By the snap of his fingers, a barricade of guns was aimed at me and wasted no time and no ammo in emptying its loads into me. The force of the bullets was enough to blast holes through my clothes, my skin, and bone. It penetrated me over and over, all while my grin remained glued on to my face...even when part of it was blown off. I even felt my right arm blow off and fall to the ground.
As the gunfire ceased, my body now lay upon the ground, my dull eyes staring up at that oh so beautiful moon.
The vampire walked forward and stared at my bloody body. "Is that the best you’ve got? Hahahahahahaha!" His laughter echoed throughout the area.
My eyes lit up a bright red. The wind picked up as I summoned my power. "huh…hahahahahaha…"

PHYRE
"Your agent’s a vampire?!" The officer exclaimed.
Huh. Funny, that's what I said.
Integra smirked as she bit down on her cigar. "Correct. You see, humans make poor vampire killers. They are frail, they are mortal, they are corruptible, body, mind, and soul. The most effective weapon against the vampire is another more powerful vampire."
I gave her another offended look. Honestly. Like I'm not right here!
I couldn’t help but shoot my finger up to interject. "Of course, there are very few humans that are capable of killing a number of vampires. With the required skill set, of course."
She looked at me, then the soldiers. "Perhaps. However, none may compare to a top of the line vampire that may out its opponent."
Is that so? I don't believe that's what you said earlier.
"The Hellsing organization has such a creature in its ménage. And let me assure you gentleman, our vampire has power beyond imagination."

ALUCARD
As my body completely healed, I grinned while withdrawing my Joshua and aimed it, watching closely as it fired rounds at every last ghoul in the area. Their bodies all collapsed in a field of death.
"No! How could he be killing them?!" He looked at them as they dropped like flies, then at my Joshua. "It’s those bullets!"
The magazine fell to the ground as I pulled out the next set and replaced it. "The silver cross in Manchester Cathedral was melted down to make these thirteen millimeter exploding shells. Nothing I shoot ever gets back up again…"
His wide eyes stared into me. "But why?! Tell me! Why fight to save these pathetic humans?"
He eyed the human girl behind him, then proceeded to grab her and use her as a shield in front of him, which only made my grin widen.
"Don’t take another step. The girl's the last survivor. Don’t you want to save her? Be reasonable. I’m not asking for much. Just a bit of help. You can look the other way."
I looked directly at the girl. "Are you a virgin, my dear?" I smirked as she grew bright red.
"Ah!?"
The vampire's grin dropped. "What are you doing?"
I kept my eyes locked with the police girl. "I’m asking if you’re a virgin!"
She was frozen at my question. "Vir…I…"
"You bastard!" The vampire snarled at me with narrowed eyes.
I rose my gun and aimed it at them. "Answer me!"
The girl shut her eyes. "Ye..Yes! I am!"
*bang*
I watched the bullet go through her chest, piercing her right breast until it also reached the vampire's heart. "Aaaaaagh!" The vampire flew back by the force of the bullet in a splatter of blood, releasing the girl that fell to the ground.
I went forward and smiled as my hand plunged through his chest and heart. He groaned as blood spilled from his mouth. "You...you" My hand twisted until he disintegrated in a flash of blue light.
Blood dripped down onto the moaning human police girl that lay on the ground, staring up at nothing in a pool of her own blood.
I walked over to peer down at her. "I had to shoot through you to pierce his heart. I’m sorry, but you’re dying. And there’s no time left. The choice is yours. What do you want to do?"
With all the strength she could gather, she rose her hand up—to what, I wasn't sure. Tears watered in her eyes as she reached out to me as if asking me to save her.
It was interesting, having someone want to be saved by a monster. This girl has been left with nothing. She faced these undead monsters, knowing her dull bullets would only result in her death. It was very interesting.
That was when her strength wavered and fell weak. Her arm fell, and I unintentionally caught her hand with mine. The symbol stitched into my glove glowed as I grinned.
"Police girl…Tonight is truly…A beautiful night."
