Just some portrait practice (seeing if I can make characters recognisable without clothes/accessories/etc) and experimenting with a few different design choices

A couple of notes

Chi-Chi - a lot more recognisable with her bun, but I like the OG long hair too

Videl - I love how her pigtails in the Saiyaman saga are kind of wavy like her father's hair, so I tried to lean her a bit more like him in other features too

Bulla - thicker hair than Bulma, widows peak, angry arched eyebrows, let her look like a mix of both her parents and not just a clone of her mother e-e

18 - I've been wanting to make the twins slightly more visibly cyborgy, so I tried a weird eye thing here, not sure I like it

Marron - thicker hair than 18, rounder features, barely a nose <3

Kale - like Chi-Chi, she's a lot more recognisable with her hair up

Kefla - not sure I succeeded in making her different enough from Caulifla here with her hair down but oh well xD

I’ve been thinking of an au for dragon ball, a swap au.. usually people do Goku and vegeta.. but what if it was An earthling Goku and Saiyan chi chi?? ^-^ here’s my list of swaps! (Question marks are ones subject to change or idk what I’m doing)

Donald Duck, Three Caballeros, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales and Duck family in Dragon Ball Universe - Duckverse and Dragon Ball - Crossover - Quack Pack Week - Tribute to Akira Toriyama and Dragon Ball - My version

I wanted to do this later, but since I found out last month about the bad news that Akira Toriyama died, I decided to do something special in his honor, but not to cry because I believe that he is safe in the other world and that which left behind a great achievement for all of us who love manga and anime, so I made a crossover of my favorite characters from Dragon Ball or Duckverse in Dragon Ball Universe.

Yes, and in honor of Akira Toriyama, in honor of one of my favorite manga and anime even though the action takes place in China and certainly dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the creation of the best Disney duck, Donald Duck. I drew three separate drawings of the crossover Duckverse and Dragon Ball characters and combined the various Duckverse and Dragon Ball variants into one. I wanted to add more, but not all characters would fit, so I'll post it separately another time. I mean especially the villains.

Akira Toriyama was born on the same day as me, April 5th, but in a different year, which is 1955 in Kiyosu, Aichi, Japan, and he started his career in 1978 working for a Japanese magazine and later published the manga Dr. Slump continues to write and draw the Dragon Boy manga after 1983, so that from November 1984 he writes, draws and publishes the famous Dragon Ball, which will later become very popular and even the most popular in the world. He was particularly inspired by Osamu Tezuka, who created Astro Boy and is the father of manga. In 1986, the Dragon Ball series began airing and it would become one of the best anime I could enjoy. Yes, it will come out through various series like Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Z Kai, Dragon Ball Super, etc. Unfortunately, Akira Toriyama left us on March 1, 2024, and many were affected by this, including me that this happened. Thank you for everything, good man that you have done for all of us! Rest in peace, amen!

The first drawing I drew shows Donald Duck, Jose Carioca, Panchito Pistoles, Aracuan Bird and Drake Mallard as Saiyan warriors along with famous Dragon Ball heroes. Not to be outdone, I drew Duckverse characters that they could relate to and be similar to. So Donald Duck is like Goku (Kakarot), Drake Mallard is like Vegeta (who says OVER 9000!), Panchito Pistoles is like Yamcha, Jose Carioca (Ze Carioca) is Piccolo and Aracuan Bird is like Majin Buu (I don't have to say why ).

Another drawing I drew shows other male characters and boys with other Dragon Ball characters, like Ducktales and Dragon Ball. Scrooge McDuck is with Master Roshi (I don't have to say why), Fethry Duck is with Krillin, Dugan Duck (Fethry's nephew) is with Oolong Pig, Huey Duck is with Gohan (Goku's older son), Dewey Duck is with Trunks (Vegeta and Bulma's son) and Louie Duck is with Goten (Goku's younger son).

The third drawing I drew represents the female characters and girls of Duckverse and Dragon Ball. Daisy Duck is with Chi-Chi (Goku's girlfriend and wife), Morgana Macawber is with Bulma, Gosalyn Mallard is with Videl (Gohan's girlfriend), Lyla Lay (Paperinik New Adventures) and Kay K (Double Duck) are for Launch (in the works about one woman, but with a split personality and one of her natures is good, the other is very awkward).

Yes, I combined from the comics Donald Duck, Duck Avenger (PKNA), Double Duck, Darkwing Duck, Three Caballeros and Quack Pack into one along with various Dragon Ball variants in my own way and drew them to wear the same clothes as in Dragon Ball. Oh, shit. New episode of Daima. For some reason I thought this aired on Saturdays but apparently it's a Friday release schedule?

Hahaha, what? Since when is that a thing? XD That is not a thing.

There is a bit of inconsistency with Shenron in post-Z materials. Resurrection F had a plot hole where Shenron only granted two wishes.

So, the way the rules work, Shenron will grant three wishes unless one of them is a mass-resurrection; That basically uses up two wish slots. You can also bank wishes, having him grant less than three in order to shorten the Dragon Balls' recharge time.

But a lot of people struggle to remember how this works, including official creators who work on Dragon Ball. Resurrection F had a notable plot hole where Shenron granted only two wishes despite not granting a mass-revive.

The Broly movie (the good one) only had him grant one. So this new rule Daima pulled out of its ass kinda works like a rules patch to fill in those plot holes. Oh, that's why Cheelai only got one wish!

Resurrection F is still borked. You can reason out that, because the Pilaf Gang were there and they've summoned Shenron once, the group counted as a regular. But the original problem of only getting two wishes granted remains a plot hole.

So... yeah, okay. It's a rather abrupt fix but I'll take it..

Oh! Okay. Carry on. I was confused by how people like Dende, the Muten-Roshi, Bulma, and Chi-Chi qualify as having fought Majin Buu but the "and their friends" bit covers it.

I mean, they were killed by Majin Buu. But if that was enough to qualify, the entire planet would be children right now.

So, yeah, this threw me but no, we're good. Nothing to see here. The wish was suitably broad as to cover the entire cast.

Far away, in a park somewhere, Ranger 17 is trying to figure out if spontaneous chibification is byproduct of being made into a bio-android that Gero didn't live to explain to him. Is he going to keep de-aging until he's a fetus!? Bulma's voicemail is blowing up right now.

Yamcha's date just got super awkward.

Tenshinhan and Chiaotzu are continuing to spar and refusing to acknowledge it.

We are all going to ignore the existence of Mr. Buu because this plot is not ready to deal with the fact that it just turned him back into Pure Buu. But that's okay because Dragon Ball is used to ignoring Buu. Maybe the paradox of being, himself, Majin Buu but also being a friend of the people who fought Majin Buu shielded him from the effect.

Shapner and Erasa are even worse off than 17, since they don't even have a contact to get answers from. Fortunately, the rest of Gohan's class is probably fine. Those two were the only ones he seemed to talk to.

Somewhere, deep in space, exactly one member of the Frieza Force hung out with Vegeta during off-hours way back when, just enough to be having the weirdest fucking day right now.

Piccolo has not caused a single person to be afflicted as collateral damage. Let us all take a moment to celebrate his dedication to loneliness.

...actually, I want Videl on the team, but since they obviously won't give me that, I will accept her father.

Where are Videl and Gohan, anyway? They're right on the fence where they could have gone either way with that wish.

I can't stop looking at Popo's horns. We've never seen him without his turban anymore. Are we finally about to get an explanation for what he is and where he comes from? Is that answer going to be Makai?

Oh, I'm sorry, Daimakai. Not the Demon World. The Great Demon World. Like how "Demon King Piccolo" is actually Piccolo-Daimao, not Piccolo-Mao.

He lost it to Maron (not to be confused with Marron) in a game of strip poker.

I mean, he didn't. That only happened in anime filler, so it's non-canon. But I desperately want that to be where it is, if only so we can send Chibi Krillin to talk to the woman his daughter is accidentally named after.

(By his own admission, Toriyama didn't watch the anime. Which makes that particular oversight hilarious.)

I hope we can spend as little time as humanly possible with the Muten-Roshi.

The "joke" of him being an insatiable sexual predator is generally noxious and the anime often dials it up to 11. But in this particular circumstance, where he's way too young to be hitting on adult women but also a 300-year-old man which means inflicting him on girls "his age" would be extremely gross?

Yeah. Let's just. Have as little of this guy as possible.

That said....

The other recurring Roshi gag where he is unforgivably irresponsible with ancient magical artifacts of legendary repute is put to great use here.

Oh, I am absolutely going to underestimate the shit out of him.

He only became king of Daimakai because Dabra was killed in action. From this, we can presume that he is less powerful than Dabra, who is equal in strength to Cell.

Also. Just. Considering the source. It was literally a running bit that people Kaioshin considers unbelievably formidable were hopeless pushovers against Goku and Vegeta. He is not a reliable judge of who is and is not a thing to be feared.

Still likely a dangerous foe but only because the post-Buu era cast have had their abilities nerfed. If Goku were at full strength he could definitely finger-flick Gomah into the sun.

Daisanmakai, or Demon World #3.

Not the same dai as in Daimakai. 大 Dai means "Great" while 第 Dai is basically a # mark. I wonder if Daimakai is the main Demon World, or a term for the collective of all Demon Worlds? I bet it's the latter.

Oh, hey! We're playing the hits with "Baby Bulma inspects Jaco's spaceship". Congratulations on making it into the Dragon Ball Referential Hall of Fame, Jaco.

It's subtle, and it's remixed very well into the plot which makes it less noticeable, but I still caught that.

Ahh, this was way better than the first episode. Judging from the credits, it looks like Bulma, Vegeta, and Piccolo will be joining Goku and Kaioshin in Daimakai, but the rest of the cast can get fucked.

That's a shame. Not really any point to casting such a broad net with the wish if we're keeping the cast trimmed down this far.

Still, looking forward to exploring Daimakai!

Character Details: The Super-Gen Kids

Headcanonned details for my interpretations of the Dragon Ball Super era kids- Pan, Bulla, and Kuriza; just general plotting out things. More headcanons are found around the blog.

PAN

Borderline ADHD

She's homeschooled by Gohan- graduates a year or so early simply due to how he loaded the curriculum

Multi-time winner of the Tenkaichi Budokai- she would have beat him regardless, but Mr. Satan willingly concedes his champion title to her, deeming her a rightful successor. She doesn't desire fame, just the fun.

She's unsure of her post-grad plans. She's an explorer at heart and likes to fly cross-continent to find new exciting training spots, so she's partially interning as part of Bulma's Dragon Ball hunting crew.

She's the tallest of the trio, reaching just shy of 5'8" at final growth spurt.

She's good at reading people and realizes Kuriza and Bulla's crushes on each other before even they realize.

She's able to turn Super Saiyan- she gets an initial spark at 5 from a temper tantrum upon hearing that Goku will be leaving with Uub instead of staying to train with her, but further harnesses it with time.

DESIGN:

Her hair is cut in often jagged styles, having some signature Saiyan spikes in her ponytail, often done up a bit messily.

She has half considered dying the tips of her side bangs (see Ramona Flowers from the new Scott Pilgrim), but she knew that'd probably give Chi-Chi a scare.

She wears bandanna headbands in her hair, either in neutral shades or the iconic orange of her GT bandanna. She often ties the bow up top; Bulla half-teasingly calls her "rabbit ears".

She inherits Gohan's vision problems later in her teens, wearing a pair of cherry red frames. She switches to a pair of similarly colored goggles when fighting.

One of her frequent outfits features her scarlet/red-orange gi with a pair of jeans or slacks, worn at the knees, over the lower half.

She also enjoys wearing some of Videl's hand-me-downs- mainly the navy and goldenrod FIGHT outfit and her denim vest from GT, adding a few patches and pins to the latter.

She doesn't go anywhere without her gray fingerless gloves.

BULLA

She doesn't inherit the Saiyan fightiness, but she does have a fair amount of strength from her genetics. She is well-equipped in self-defense.

Vegeta was at least given some claim to Saiyan naming, her middle name being "Eschalot", named after the late Saiyan Queen.

Pan believes if she had the training level to go Super Saiyan, she'd already have the emotional outburst part covered.

She does enjoy a few physical-based hobbies such as gymnastics and dance.

She's rich enough to buy whatever clothes she wants, but she still has a knack for sewing outfits for herself- and often for others as gifts.

Despite seeming the "ditzy" sort, she is actually quite business smart and assumes the role of vice president of Capsule Corp under her brother rather early in her 20s.

She's the second tallest of the gang, reaching around 5'5"-6"... passing Vegeta in height.

DESIGN:

Her hair color is a intertwisting mix of both robin's egg and lavender (a combo of anime and manga colors).

She tends to keep her hair long or at shoulder length at minimum. It gives her more styling opportunities... and Kuriza also enjoys combing his fingers through the length.

Occasionally Saiyan signature spikiness crops up in her unstyled bangs and split ends.

It's a rarity to see her in pants instead of a skirt or dress.

She doesn't mind wearing a bummy sweatshirt on top if it means keeping a nice outfit tidy.

She will often let jackets and blazers ride off of her shoulders.

KURIZA

The basic rundown if this is your first rodeo with my Kuriza interpretation: born two years after the ToP (782); Berryblue is given the role of his "mother" until he's old enough to be told that his real mother is gone.

He's the quiet type, but is able to channel his voice when needed. His shyness would have likely been worked out of him by Frieza if he never had any trips to Earth.

In the reverse, while he can bring out his voice, he can also push it back down into further hiding.

His tail tends to bat around more than average for an Arcosian.

He still inherits a bit of a dark and morbid side from Frieza with his words, although he is a bit gentler. He can get quite territorial and bitter in driven to one side.

He's rarely called by his full name (except by, of course, the Force soldiers who have no choice but to address him formally)- Frieza and Berryblue call him "Kuri"; Pan and Bulla both call him "Kureeze" when they're younger, but it later splits into Bulla calling him "Reeza" or "Reezey" and Pan calling him "Reezer".

This is basically equivalent in Japanese to both Frieza and Bulla calling him "Kuriza-kun"- the fact startles Frieza at first.

He's the shortest of the bunch, only reaching 4'7" at his tallest. This means he is very easily scooped up.

DESIGN:

His armor graduates up from basic onyx black or copper to more specialized ruby or wine burgundy.

On top of his armor, he prefers flowy fabrics, perhaps a cape, shawl, or even an over-sized vest.

He has a love of shiny things, so nothing is complete without a little piece of jewelry or a small bauble.

He also enjoys flowers, both Earthen and galactic, and will wear faux decorative versions as accessories- boutonnieres, corsages, or even one tied to the tail.

He gets muscle strains in his legs later on and requires knee braces to function in fit form. He initially needs support crutches as extra aids.

RELATIONSHIP LINKS

Kuriza and Bulla still hang out together even as Pan grows a bit distant from the group. They eventually become romantically involved starting in their teens.

Pan often playfully teases Bulla, their personalities a clear contrast bouncing off of each other- Pan's having fun with it and Bulla is well aware.

Pan sort of has a "brothership" with Kuriza, not afraid to be a little play-aggressive- a playful nudge punch to the arm, behaving a little more "boyish", although Kuriza tends to shy away from it; he plays along.

So first thing was last night in the Sexist Gossip Room (the encyclopedia thing; I know they did it in the past but it just feels real sexist to have the women basically gossiping but whatever) with Nappa. So either Chi Chi or Videl mentions how Vegeta kills him and Bulma, rightfully disgusted (shockingly), is like "Ugh, yeah, he did it because Nappa was no longer "useful" to him." And I'm like hey wow I'm glad you were disgusted as you should be but you also married this man so uuuuuh.

But man my Vegeta muse really popped off in the shop. One of her lines in there was "I wish my husband would take me shopping more often" and I just...once a-fucking-gain, say you don't know your own husband without saying you don't know your own husband. Bro would DESPISE shopping and like??? You're wording it like he has money to spoil you with? You're a fucking billionaire Bulma, stop. This reeks of when she got mad at Yamcha for being fucking broke.

Tell me again how these two are couples goals.]

Brain melting pleasure items buried deep in her fupa.. The thing is it takes a while and koads of over use to dumb down bulma.. She gave each other milf a different self pleasure item and they became dumb sows after the first use..

18's brain was sitting in a jar atop a helmet bubbling and full of preservation green slime that kept her in a constant state of bliss. White and blue capsule Corp jumpsuit hugging her curves as she fumbled around mindless with swirling eyes eager to please anyone she came across.

Videl was currently on patrol as the great saiyan-woman. But underneath her usually gi and tights she had a fully automatic pleasure device inside her rump. It was self adjustable and would automatically activate if it felt her libido was dropping bellow acceptable horny levels.

Chi-Chi was in the assembly room testing out every size of dildo imaginable. She was VERY picky and it wasn't until she reached their "great ape" sized products that she finally started to show sines of pleasure induced brain drain... it was a new phenomenon bulma named and discovered. When someone's pleasure reaches its peak the just can't handle it!

The brain will sizzle and pop like popcorn till their mind is nothing but a distant hazy memory one to soon be replaced by an empty headed sex driven klutz.

So that brings us back to Bulma... stuck In her swivel chair desperately trying to heft up her gut to reach the cosmic vibrator shoved between her fat folds before her own movements switch the dial over to full power and fry her noodle...

Dragon Ball Super 017

It’s baby time!

So it’s been about six months since Vegeta left to train under Whis, and Videl has given birth to her daughter, Pan.  As a dutiful grandmother, Chi-Chi brings over a big trashbag to their house. 

Then she sees Gohan and Mr. Satan playing with the baby.  When I say “playing”, I mean “Gohan wears his Great Saiyaman costume and he playfights with Mr. Satan while they toss the baby back and forth to each other.”  Pan loves this, and they apparently do this every single day, but Chi-Chi is horrified.

This leads to an argument between Chi-Chi and Mr. Satan over Pan’s future.  She’s part-Saiyan, so getting tossed around is actually healthy for her, and Satan has big dreams of Pan becoming his successor as the World Champion of Martial Arts.  But Chi-Chi wants Pan to be a great scholar or whatever, and Satan (rightfully) asks who put Chi-Chi in charge.  So Chi-Chi barricades herself, Pan, and Videl in one of the rooms of the house. 

Okay, so this is really the first time there’s been any conflict between Chi-Chi and Satan, and it kind of ends in a standoff.  Satan doesn’t know what to do, and neither does Gohan, so they call in Goku, Krillin, and Bulma to help.  Bulma offers to play peacemaker if Krillin will tear up the ticket he wrote Bulma earlier in the episode.  But Krillin’s a cop now, so he won’t do it, because he only cares about eating donuts now. 

What I’m getting at here is that this might have been a chance to settle what would happen if Chi-Chi and Mr. Satan fought.  I’m pretty sure Chi-Chi would win.  I think most people agree on this, but I think Mr. Satan could make it competitive.  I guess what I’m saying is that we might know Chi-Chi has an edge, but they don’t know who would win.

I’m not saying they should have settled this with a fight.  Chi-Chi’s whole point is that there’s more to life than fighting, so settling this with violence sort of undermines her position.  And Mr. Satan’s too savvy to suggest it at this point.  I guess I’m just pointing out that this isn’t like when Chi-Chi or Satan deals with anyone else, and there’s an obvious power imbalance. In terms of physical strength, they’re somewhat evenly matched.  Anyway.

So, while Bulma commiserates with Chi-Chi, she mentions that Vegeta went to train under Whis six months ago, and Goku overhears this and flips out.  He wants to go too, but he has to wait for Whis to come back to Earth, as Bulma has no means of contacting him.  So he keeps bugging the shit out of Bulma, asking if she’s heard from Whis yet. 

Then Whis finally shows up, and Goku bugs the shit out of him.  He doesn’t start behaving himself until Whis warns him that Goku might not be trainable if he can’t show a little more restraint than this.

This raises Chi-Chi’s ire, as she thought Goku and Bulma were planning a surprise party or something, but it turns out Goku’s looking to skip the planet to train again.  She scolds Goku and puts him in some kind of joint-lock while their kids try to convince Chi-Chi to let Goku leave.  Then Whis gets up to head back home, and Goku runs off to grab on to him before he goes. 

And as soon as Goku’s gone, Chi-Chi is suddenly fine with it, like “Well, it’s Goku, whaddya gonna do?”  She asks Bulma about having an actual party and Bulma’s like yeah, why not.  In space, Goku assures Whis that his home life will be just fine, saying that Chi-Chi understands him better than anyone.  So I guess she just nags him for no real reason?  Like, is this a kink thing?  Don’t answer that.

Hanvi Headcanon

TW: Miscarriage

Ok hear me out. I sit on this hc for a while now because I needed more time to think about it. I'm pretty convinced I'm not the only person having these thoughts (saw this take regarding K18 here and there, too, and I think the same!)

Hanvi is a couple I really enjoy because it's a healthy and very human relationship, same goes for K18. This exact humanness is what draws me to them.

As we know the DB characters are insanely strong and have lots of helpful, world- and nature-changing tools up their sleeves (the Dragon Ball, CC, senzu beans and - even though an exception - the power to revers time). They challenge nature many a times.

This is where my "take" comes in (which isn't entirely new Ikr but nobody talks about it enough imo, even in real life this is still a matter none likes to talk about):

Videl tried several times to get pregnant and had 3 to 4 misscarriages before she and Gohan were finally successful. This obviously devastated them both but Gohan was so caring and tried to convince Videl that it's not her fault and these things happen etc etc. This has to do with Gohan's hybrid nature (although I like the thought of Videl being the "problem" but nobody put her into the equation, because it was obvious for the people around them who knew (and many knew, e.g. Bulma, Chi Chi, Son Goten, even Goku or Krillin and A18 ... because she can relate sm!)). Just as A18, human type earthlings who are somehow hybrid or "different" may have problems with fertility. Strange comparison I know, but mules and other hybrids in our world have the same problem. It makes sense.

You ask yourself now: Why tf is she so focused on this?? Is it all about the angst?? (partially ofc ... this HC is fuel for so many potential good interactions!) but let me come back to my second paragraph: What intrigues me about all this is the fact that this time they are powerless! This time they need to accept nature's horrors and can't reverse shit. It makes them all so increcibly fragile and human. And I love that.

(This is also the reason why Gohan is exceptionally protective of Pan ...)

It is still indrecibly sad for Videl and Android 18 of course and please don't think I find pleasure in this ... I can't even imagine this kind of pain. Maybe I'm so into this at the moment because a dear colleague of mine at work has had a misscarriage a few weeks ago and is so devastated because of it ...

I mean shoot, even if you leave Videl out, no one's done it. Seems really odd to me, you know what I mean? I've even seen this scenario done with Mr. Satan, for crying out loud, and they included 18 in there despite being very happily married. But never Krillin and the "unhappy" wives. Just plain weird.

I totally agree. Ppl would rather turn a character who isn't perverted and good with women into Krillin- I mean a harem protagonist. Krillin fits the role so perfectly that its insane others don't make more content with him.

The lack of positive Krillin scenarios just reveals how many beta males and beta females there are in the fandom. And I hate using the terms "beta" & "alpha." But a true "alpha" takes care of his family's needs & is reliable. Sorry but, the Saiyans don't really take care of the needs of their women.

Bulma is super rich and Vegeta mooches off her so he can train all day.

Chi-Chi does most of the work while Goku helps out some but wants to leave to train often and does so more often in DBS.

The money of Videl's family is what bought everything for her family while Gohan is more concerned with books.

They aren't bad ppl, but they aren't alpha males. Family values is not something in the nature of Saiyans. Them sticking around their wives even for as long as they have is not like Saiyans who care more about combat (or books in Gohan's case). Compared to other Saiyans, they would be alphas. But not compared to Earthlings.

Saiyans are fighters, not family men. Saiyans are built for combat & derive pleasure form it while Earthlings are built to reproduce & have fun doing so. And Krillin keeps him infinite energy wife thoroughly pleased in multiple ways? The writing is on the wall.

And the only DB gal who might go for Mr. Satan is Bulma since he's basically "human Vegeta." The arrogance, believing his own lies, attitude, actually fearful when he can't bully those stronger than himself. But Bulma would regret getting with him just as she did when she first got with Vegeta.

A sudden sharp pain at the front of his forehead woke him up. The moment he opened his eyes it was gone. He didn’t remember falling asleep on his desk, the papers with still wet ink stuck to his forearms. He pulled them away softly, his arms and hands painted black. He laughed softly and shook his head at his clumsiness. Putting the papers softly on the wood he contemplated his pieces. There was some of the recent Sand Land, some of Dragon Ball with Goku doing a KameHameHa, some of Goku when he was little and was training with Krillin under Master’s Roshi’s cuestionable guidance. He looked a bit further and saw some of Arale’s. He stopped for a second. Why had he drawn this? He hadn’t drawn anything from her or Goku in a long while. His apprentice was in charge of Dragon Ball nowadays anyway.

He went to stand up, but under his foot he felt a wooden cylindrical piece that was painfully familiar. It should be impossible. For a moment he thought about questioning what was happening. He reached down and grasped the tool, eyes falling upon it.

It was his pen holder. The one he loved, the one that accompanied him since the tender age of 14.“Oh how I missed you dear friend.”

Maybe drawing one last time wouldn’t be so hard anymore. He took one of Arale’s drawings and traced on the lines, colored in her colors, purple hair, pink cap, blue jumpsuit. A proud and soft smile formed on his face.

He started on one of Goku and Krillin when they were kids. Then one of Gohan and Piccolo, Freeza and Namek, Androids and Cell, Vegeta and Trunks, Bulma, Gohan and Cell, Majin buu and Satan, Videl, Yamcha, Tien, Chiatzu, Chi-chi and Goten, Roshi, Mr. Popo, Kami.

When he finished, Toriyama-san was exhausted. He took another page, wanting to draw something more even though he didn’t have an idea of what. There was so much to do. His pen hovered over the white page when someone knocked on his door.

“Who’s there?”

The door opened and in came a girl with a cap on her head. Toriyama-san gaped at her, struck.

“I’m sorry to interrupt sensei!” she cried, playing with her fingers.

“…it’s okay.”

The girl smiled brightly, nerves forgotten, she rushed to him and grasped his hand with the pen holder in it.

“Come on!”

“Wait-! Where?”

She looked at him, like she was just realizing something. Her smile diminished some.

“It’s time sensei. They are waiting. And he is waiting just outside!”

Akira Toriyama looked back at his desk. His work was still incomplete.

“It’s completed.”

He turned sharply to her, asked her what she meant.

“It’s completed, your work it’s done. The whole world knows.”

He looked at his desk one last time. He let go of her and walked back. He put his pen holder over the drying pieces, caressing the edges of the papers with the tip of his fingers. Arale was waiting at the door, he followed her. She opened the door into the dark night and just outside stood his friend.

“Hi sensei!” the man laughed a little, giving him a smile he knew too well.

“Hello Goku” he smiled back at him.

He walked to him and stood by him. The door closed behind him, Arale nowhere in sight.

“A glimpse through the past. Can’t go back can I?”

Goku sends him a sad smile.

“There is no Shenlong here to grant that wish.”

Toriyama laughed.

“But,” Goku put his finger mischievously under his nose, Toriyama looked on curiously “I can take you there. Where wishes can be fulfilled.”

Goku gave a sharp whistle.

A golden light came down from the clouds, right towards them. Once it arrived it floated shyly in front of them. Goku and Toriyama laughed at it. They climbed on top of the Flying Nimbus and flew away like a rocket piercing through the clouds and the fabric of reality.

As a new star shines now on the horizon, a flame goes out in the dark. An emerald dragon cruises the heavens softly, leaving a path in the golden clouds. A man of fiction and a man of flesh laugh together, eyes crinkled at the corners, tears wetting eyelashes.

Bulma, Chi-Chi, Videl, 18 and Launch were enjoying a nice moment together in the garden when they see a cute femboy walk by. But...he's perfectly clean!? No pudge!? No sweat or grease!? The poor thing looked so clean! Was he being neglected!? They had to help him!

"Oh my! Wh-why are you so skinny?!?" Chi-Chi gasped quickly scooping the strange femboy up into a tight sweaty hug. He was frail! Almost paper thin! She'd never seen someone so small... clearly he must be being neglected... or lost!

"Poor guy... he looks so scared! He's got no pudge anywhere on him! He just br starving to death!" Videl said with a mouthful of meat her pig tails bobbing as she stuffed a massive leg of meat into her gullet smearing her face with sauce and causing her fuzzy sweater to ride up her belly.

"Well we can just leave him..." 18 grumbled as she got up from the picnic blanket a bit annoyed that their milf meet up had been interrupted but otherwise she was sympathetic to him.

"Oh maybe we could help him! You know nurse him back to health? Like a spa day! Or a make over!" Launch clapped the kind hearted trucker gal clasping her hands together as the five women cooed over the fembky struggling in Chi-Chi's arms.

I could see the New Frontier version of the multiversal Dragon team just enjoying a cookout and they see Goku Jr get a whole ass portable kitchen with all the different things to allow them to do every type of cooking, outside. An outdoor oven, counter, smoker,grills, etc.

And then suddenly someone makes a remark that gets them to get roasted by Goku Jr. Because he has no filter, he will not hold back his verbal punches.

"Are you seriously going to cook in every way outside Kaka?" Some random friend of Bulma asks.

"Yes Haruna," Goku Jr. said plainly. "Cuz everyone deserves something better than your self-centered fancy ass bullshit!" Before the lady could respond Goku Jr then continued with a little bit of a confrontation. "Oh and by the way," the Saiyan said in a serious tone. "Tell that pathetic excuse of man, and cuck husband of yours, that if he tells my mother, Chi-Chi, my Aunt Bulma, my sister-in-law Videl and my grandmother, Gine, how to cook again because they're "weak and feeble women", I'll cut his balls off, cook them and feed them to you." However, what he says next, adds even more salt to the wound. "Then again, you of all people would probably like that, considering how much you love the taste of balls in your slutty mouth." He then got even more serious. "Especially since you cheat on your husband, regularly..."

Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Quack Pack and Dragon Ball - Daisy, Morgana, Gosalyn, Lyla Lay and Kay K with Chi-Chi, Bulma and two Launch - Duckverse and Dragon Ball Crossover - Tribute to Akira Toriyama and Dragon Ball - My version

Even though I’m late, and to make it easier for you to refer to your crossover, I’ll post one drawing each so you know what it’s about.

Yes, and in honor of Akira Toriyama, in honor of one of my favorite manga and anime even though the action takes place in China and certainly dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the creation of the best Disney duck, Donald Duck. I drew three separate drawings of the crossover Duckverse and Dragon Ball characters and combined the various Duckverse and Dragon Ball variants into one. I wanted to add more, but not all characters would fit, so I’ll post it separately another time. I mean especially the villains.

Akira Toriyama was born on the same day as me, April 5th, but in a different year, which is 1955 in Kiyosu, Aichi, Japan, and he started his career in 1978 working for a Japanese magazine and later published the manga Dr. Slump continues to write and draw the Dragon Boy manga after 1983, so that from November 1984 he writes, draws and publishes the famous Dragon Ball, which will later become very popular and even the most popular in the world. He was particularly inspired by Osamu Tezuka, who created Astro Boy and is the father of manga. In 1986, the Dragon Ball series began airing and it would become one of the best anime I could enjoy. Yes, it will come out through various series like Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Z Kai, Dragon Ball Super, etc. Unfortunately, Akira Toriyama left us on March 1, 2024, and many were affected by this, including me that this happened. This drawing I drew shows female characters and girls with other Dragon Ball characters, like Ducktales and Dragon Ball. Daisy Duck is with Chi-Chi (Goku’s girlfriend and wife), Morgana Macawber is with Bulma, Gosalyn Mallard is with Videl (Gohan’s girlfriend), Lyla Lay (Paperinik New Adventures) and Kay K (Double Duck) are for Launch (in the works about one woman, but with a split personality and one of her natures is good, the other is very awkward).

As Donald is with Goku, so is Daisy with Chi-Chi because they have similar personalities, they are mostly friendly, but sometimes they can be awkward. As Drake is with Vegeta, so is Morgana with Bulma, because of the closer connection, although Bulma does not have the fiery temper of Morgana. Kay K from Double Duck and Lyla Lay from Paperinik New Adventures have similarities with Launch in that they are mostly belligerent, but also friendly, but can be very awkward. Videl is similar to Gosalyn, much like Huey is similar to Gohan because of the love relationships, and I also like to associate Gosalyn with one of Donald's nephews, although Gosalyn with Huey is usually the most fun for me. That's mostly according to my headcanon though.

I definitely drew them wearing Dragon Ball clothes (as in the previous drawing) since they are in China practicing martial arts.

Yes, I combined from the comics Donald Duck, Duck Avenger (PKNA), Double Duck, Darkwing Duck, Three Caballeros and Quack Pack into one along with various Dragon Ball variants in my own way and drew them to wear the same clothes as in Dragon Ball.
