I like to think that Curly and Jimmy had parallel lives on earth.

That Curly was an only child and his parents died shortly after he became a captain. They got to see his biggest accomplishment but he had no one to really celebrate it with after. Jimmy has siblings and his parents and they didn’t care when he got the co-pilot job cause he’s just the back up. Sure they’re happy for him but no reason to celebrate.

They could both barely afford rent. That’s how it is that late in capitalism and the world the live. The difference is Curly could down size, Jimmy would end up down on the curb. Jimmy had flings and Curly had partners. Both fleeting but Curly pulled away and they left Jimmy.

I like to think they lived parallel to each other in a way they both noticed. Curly felt a kinship and Jimmy felt resentful. Curly worked to make a good deal with what he had and Jimmy scorned his dealt cards and wanted the hand he thought Curly had made.

#this is like purely headcanons #I like to think where Jimmy sees Curly as being ungrateful and undeserving for what he has #he misses all the reasons why Curly may be unhappy or dissatisfied or stressed #Curly gets patted on the back and lorded by superiors not knowing they grip his shoulder and breath down his back #Curly gets a nice promotion and is stuck with a company that would send him on a death mission for mouthwash time and time again #Curly gets to steer the ship and he sits bored imagining all the fun the captains having while Curly is painfully aware one wrong move and #they all die. #I just realized that some of the dates aren't coinciding. The current Beatrix is from Season 3 and not Year 4038.#It is likely that Year 4038 was the year she woke up after her slumber cycle and also the same year she met Hunter.#He was definitely much different before her! Not as welcoming or laid-back as he's seen later on in the story.#After becoming Hunter‚ he joined rescue teams in Fusionsprunt city in a desperate attempt to fix his mistakes.#He got increasingly depressed over the few months he worked there but managed to solve a few cases and even get his job as a technician.#Aloof and irritable. He was constantly on the edge and paranoid about having his identity discovered.#He would exhaust himself hours on end because of his guilt‚ which would result in accumulated stress and bleeding.#After he found Guto‚ he was forced to change his lifestyle and bad habits into healthier ones for him.#You could say the guilt still weighted heavily on his shoulders‚ but Hunter certainly started taking care of himself again.#fusionsprunt #fusionsprunt hunter

blood blossom danny except i briefly talk about his version of the accident

It all happened so fast that Danny doesn't really remember dying at all. It was like, one moment he was alive, the next he's dead. He remembers hitting the button, and the lights coming on, and then a great big flash.

Then he was outside of the portal.

He thinks he may have been screaming, but that's not true at all. The only sound he made was a split-second, startled gasp as the portal turned on, that was cut-off before he could finish the noise. The only ones who were screaming were Sam and Tucker; Danny was dead before he could feel anything.

The most vivid thing to him was the terror before the light. The blood rushing moment of mind-numbing fear and cold revelation that he was going to die, and there was nothing he could do about it. A weird sort of resignation, desperation, horror, and static calm that hit him all at once.

He was extremely disoriented when he woke up. Like waking up from a long nap and struggling to comprehend what the day or time was, but knowing instinctively that time has passed. He didn't stay in his ghost form for that long either, further cementing his confusion.

From the moment he hit the button to the few minutes after he woke up is an unsolved jigsaw puzzle to him.

It took him about a day and a half to fully remember what happened beyond 'went into the portal, then suddenly i was out of it and everyone was freaking out', and then a week to process.

Sam and Tucker remember his accident better than he does. They say he was in a daze after he woke up, before he recognized where he was. And he kinda just... squinted at them like he didn't know who they were, and said something in a language they couldn't understand. He was terrifyingly calm and passive, and still smoking.

(They later find out its ghostspeak. He was asking them where he was.)

It was only the moment he realized where he was that he transformed back into human. That's the moment where Danny's memory officially cuts back in for him. His first time as a ghost, and he doesn't really remember it that well.
