TEVESIAN INTRO + LEXEMBER 1-7 SPEEDRUN

hello! im making a whole new conlang for lexember, called tevesian! the entire premise is, as i've said to friends, "turbo autism conlang." in the sense that i am deriving most words from my various fixations :^)

it's meant to be intuitive to me primarily, considering this is entirely based off of my own interests, so SVO word order, with (c)(c)v(c)(c) syllable structure

really simple phonology, screenshot from vulgarlang to help get things visualized better

under the cut will be days 1-7 for tevesian lexember :) kinda cheating cuz some of these are verbs derived from nouns but whatever there are no rules

DAY 1: sohra

IPA: /sohɹa/

origin: kingdom hearts

noun; the soul, or the heart within the kingdom hearts definition

notes: this makes sense to me, he's our favorite heart boy! if you know me, you may ask how heart and soul cccc are gonna factor into the tevesian lexicon, but you'll see ;)

DAY 2: sohratos

IPA: /sohɹatos/

origin: kingdom hearts; the noun "sohra"

verb; to hold someone within your heart, literal or metaphorical

notes: you can expect why this has such a specific definition, considering the Whole Deal throughout the entire series

DAY 3: xuno

IPA: /ʒuno/

origin: cccc

noun; feeling, the heart in an emotional context

notes: specifically taken from "juno" in ruler of everything. also the use of /ʒ/ comes from my general love for that phoneme as well as xotha, my au-heart-turned-piglin-oc

DAY 4: xunotos

IPA: /ʒunotos/

origin: cccc; the noun "xuno"

verb; to feel an emotion

notes: verb version of xuno. what more can i say?

DAY 5: atlos

IPA: /atlos/

origin: cccc

noun; the self, but especially the physical self

notes: once more on my "whole isn't real" propaganda. i think it makes the most sense if soul represents both the inner and physical self, both in the context of the lyrics, as well as the general of idea of... what's left when you strip away the emotions and the logic? nothing, really

DAY 6: atlosos

IPA: /atlosos/

origin: cccc; the noun "atlos"

verb; to mediate, or to suffer, in some contexts

notes: unfortunately, soul has to mediate between heart and mind's bullshit, as well as suffering at the hands of them both

DAY 7: okvatos

notes: comes from the fact aqua straight up wandered the realm of darkness for at least 10 years

arthur: no?? we argued everyday, how was i supposed to realize you were asking me out??

merlin now abandoning the dinner and staring across the camp at arthur while the rest of the knights watch their back and forth like a game of tennis: to you we were arguing, to me that was very much flirting. i thought you were flirting back so i decided to ask you. then you rejected me

arthur, mentally beating his past self up for fucking up their chance: i didn’t reject you!!! i just didn’t realize what you were asking me. how was i meant to? we fought every chance we got

leon, nudging elyan, glee and excitement riling through him: its happening!!! its finally happening!!! seven long, grueling years is finally paying off!!!

merlin, realizing the misunderstanding and acknowledging the fact that he wasn’t rejected, his flirtations just weren’t noticed - realizing he still has a chance: oh…oh i see. arthur, my dear, our fights were extremely flirtatious. need i remind you of what you said? “do you know how to walk on your knees? would you like me to teach you?” or “i could take you apart with one blow”

I do really like the way the new chapter kind of showcases that Loid is really starting to settle into this whole parenting gig.

Like first 20 chapters Loid would have immediately gone into an anxiety induced fit about being a horrible fake father and how he's failing the mission and Anya, if Anya pulled the same crying fit trick on him (like she's done with success before) or he'd at least start to doubt his choices a little. But he just acts like a regular dad does and tells her to shut up, he doesn't give a fuck and she's staying her ass at home. And she would have too if Yor didn't convince him and if that isn't the most family shit ever I don't know what is

Also he would have never out loud called her a brat before especially where Yor or someone else could hear and doubt their "father daughterly ness" but now he's yelling at her like a true father. Because yeah she really don't be listening but we love her for it.

I don't know I've always just felt like he's his truest self when it's just him and Anya. mostly because when he's not hyper focused on appearing like the greatest dad, Anya is just so ridiculous and left field that its hard to have anything less than a genuine reaction to her and the things she says. Also in regards to this operation stryx, she's the person he has the least to hide from, they both know he's not her dad and she's not his kid and that his marriage to Yor is fake. There's nobody to play pretend for, and that allows him to be just a little more real in their interactions because she's real with him.

Like I know he's a spy so we never really know his truest personality cause he's always putting on a mask, even with bond he puts on the mask of trainer no matter how badly he's not deceiving anyone, but honestly it doesn't feel like there's a mask with her. He's not Loid or Twilight with her but some secret third thing. Just a man with no real name but who is no less real and the strange kid he's trying to do right by no matter how many stress lines she cause him
