This is probably retreading crow Yuan ground, but crow spirit Shen Yuan to transmigrated into a crow!! When SJ didn't die as expected. The system gives him a little boost to get started on cultivation as well as "mini games" that increase his cultivation and but the time LBH comes out of the abyss, SY has a golden core and can communicate with lbh though he's a long way from a human transformation.

But this point in his life, LBH knows to be wary of everything, but also that crows are intelligent and loyal so he gives SY a chance and once he discovers they can communicate easily, allows the bird to hang around.

It's good to have a spy - and not even a demonic one or one first loyal to MBJ (looking at you, shishu). Crow Yuan is very supportive of LBH's schemes and plans, but extremely critical of LBH's women. It should take more than a "you deserve better than her" and a few squawks to dissuade LBH from his conquests, but something is sharp and bright and he DOES deserve better

When LBH has a breakdown over QWY forcing herself on him by coercion, SY goes into overdrive. He'd thought that scene was sus but now he's on the war path.

He goes and retrieves a ton of magical items and precious manuscripts to help LBH handle xinmo so he's never forced again. SY keeps waiting to feel bad as some woman dies bc LBH refuses to save her with his dick, but that feeling never comes. He feels a little upset, but mostly at airplane for designing the world that way

LBH still knows sy is upset and eventually research reveals there was a non heavenly pillar cure AND the woman's village should have known it. He goes back and strongarms them into doing regular sex pollen education.

Then it happens again

And again.

SY is starting to get confused about LBH's conquest against wife plots. Shouldn't he be, you know, conquering the land?? Not that SY is complaining. LBH never seemed to enjoy his power, he just never wanted to be trampled on again. It was like that study about how money does buy happiness, but only to a certain point. Maybe power was the same?

After sy learns SQH is airplane, he whole -heartedly encourages LBH to force more and more demonic sovereignty on the North just to give airplane more work. Especially since SY, with his front row seat on LBH's shoulder, has seen tons of demonic courting live and knows MBJ wants a piece of that.

Meanwhile, SY's cultivation improves by leaps and bounds with the help of LBH's blood and various gifts from the protagonist.

SY really wants to hate all of the silver bangles and other decorations he's gifted, but his brain is still a crow's brain at the end of the day so he suffers it with dignity.

At one point he realizes maybe he should stop cultivating. After all, if he's a human, the dynamic will change. LBH might see him rejecting marriage offers as a threat rather than good advice. LBH might think sy wants more power and riches for himself rather than for LBH

thinking about crowyuan saving liu qingge from his qi deviation and disappearing before he can fully wake up so he won't be recognized (him being a demon and all), but it causes liu qingge to accidentally mistake him for shen qingqiu.

there is a massive fight during the next peak lord meeting, with liu qingge accusing shen qingqiu of saving his life and not taking responsibility for it as if it's a war crime, while shen qingqiu keeps denying he had anything to do with it and if he had saved liu qingge, he'd be rubbing it in his face every chance he got.

it escalates and escalates until liu qingge, red with embarrassment and anger, points at shen qingqiu and says "you were cradling me in your arms!" and shen qingqiu explodes.

mu qingfang tries to calm them down by saying that perhaps liu qingge hallucinated, which is not uncommon for a qi deviation, but that sets off some of the other peak lords who now start teasing him for "dreaming of shen qingqiu coming to rescue him", and of course that only makes it worse.

liu qingge refuses to let it go and starts bringing shen qingqiu his victories to try and pay off his debt, because he is an honorable man and he will not let shen qingqiu get away with this!!

meanwhile shen yuan is watching it from a distance wondering whether he made it better or worse by stepping in.

You know what … I am sick of the Colin slander!

Like some of you are out here pretending the other men of Bridgerton are saints.

Simon took advantage of Daphne’s innocence regarding sex and chose to lie about his ability to have children, essentially trapping her in a marriage that took no consideration for her feelings about having children. And while she was wrong to take advantage of him in figuring out his lies, he then emotionally abandoned her to get back at his dead father.

Anthony was a misogynistic asshole towards Daphne for the entire first season—a behavior that almost resulted in a forced marraige to someone who likely would have abused Daphne mind you. He was extremely rude to his mother during the duration of the first and second seasons when she would advise him to consider his feelings when choosing a wife rather than simply choosing someone for practicality. He chose to court Edwina while he had no real feelings for while carrying out an emotional affair WITH HER SISTER, and upon realizing said feelings for Kate he immediately proposed to Edwina.

And all of that is just me covering the male characters that have been shown on-screen so far, I could write a ten page essay on the toxic male behavior in the novels and you would all realize quite quickly that Colin is far from worst.

I understand that nobody liked Colin’s entrapment line, that he was oblivious to Penelope’s feelings for him, and that his obliviousness led to her potential ruin with the men of the ton (the infamous “not in your wildest fantasies” line).

But he’s also the only Bridgerton man so far to confess his feelings almost immediately after realizing them, and he has a right to be mad at his partner because Penelope lied to him. She spent the back half of season one chastising Marina for not telling Colin the truth of her situation and then chose not to tell him about Lady Whistledown—a secret that would have put both of them in danger once they are married.

I love Penelope, I really do, but let’s stop pretending that Colin had no right to be mad at her about Whistledown when the writing for the season acknowledged that Penelope knew keeping this secret from Colin was wrong. He may have said things that he shouldn’t have, but these characters are not meant to be saints.

Premise: Viggo falling so hard for Hiccup because Hiccup was the first person to ever show him a sliver of genuine kindness.

Just... Just hear me out.

Viggo is a hunter. He's shown to be manipulative, scheming, cruel, and most of all smart throughout the show. He makes himself known as a man who most people seem to fear even talking about. The Grimborn's, in general, seem to have that reputation.

This means Viggo probably grew up like that. He likely grew up with 'allies' that he always needed to keep an eye on. A "trust no one, never turn your back, and never be vulnerable" kind of mentality. Every enemy Viggo has dealt with in the past probably shamelessly, openly, tried to kill him. Some might have even gotten close to succeeding.

And then he finds himself at war with an up incoming chief who rides a night fury, but who won't actively kill. He meets this man who tries to compromise. To make deals, to talk. Who will actively command his dragon and team to hold their fire. Viggo meets a man who doesn't fear him, who doesn't outright hate him, and who repeatedly tries to show mercy and extend an olive branch despite Viggo being stubborn and cruel and damn near sadistic at some points.

For the first time in his life, Viggo met someone he could try and feel safe around. Someone he could attempt to be open with. And he doesn't know how to react to this.

I feel like if Chujin was still alive during the events of Undertale Yellow, his and Clover's relationship would be incredibly rocky. Pacifist!Clover could bring him around to tolerating them (after all, they have that sort of effect on everyone), but it would be more in a "this human is the only 'good' human" manner than a "maybe I should reevaluate my opinions on humans overall because you can't judge an entire group based off (very biased) stories and one bad experience." Even then, that opinion would be subject to change should Clover ever get frustrated or behave "too aggressively" or act in any manner that isn't perfectly docile. If Clover ends up attacking a monster then it's "humans are just as horrible as they were in the war stories, I should've known better" regardless of the circumstances that could've pushed Clover to fight. Suffocating expectations and endless demands for patience when he wouldn't ask the same of a fellow monster.

And heaven forbid he ever meet Clover on a No Mercy Run...

Knowing that he's wielding the exact same weapon? Do you think he'd feel how actually cold it is in his hands from then on? It's always cool, but after knowing, would he feel a different kind of frigid than before?

Or in quiet moments when he's alone he'd sit thinking and his eyes would unconsciously search for any history of that battle? Gold cannot rust, so it'd be easy to spot.

Also, since we're at this topic. Imagine if Wukong initially hasn't cleaned the staff for...well, gods know how long, because he thought "that's the only thing left of him". And, well, he didn't want to get rid of..."him"
