To my followers, I've changed my icon for the weekend because 1) it's 4th of July weekend and 2) I'm manifesting Logan points/podium. I need my favorite American to win because 1) he's in England during the 4th of July weekend and 2) his team put him in a car with a fucking UNION JACK on it. So i need him to be a little bit of a terror...the icon will go back to normal come monday but for this weekend...I gotta support my boy

my ranking of the 2025 f1 lineups
ferrari - hamilton/leclerc there isn't much to explain here: lewis is the best and most complete driver to ever compete in f1, and even if he is not at his best, he's still better than the rest of the grid and that's it. charles is exceptional and with a little bit of luck and a car he can trust, he can prove once and for all he is the best driver of his generation.
mclaren - norris/piastri as much as it pains me to admit it, right now, mclaren is the strongest team on the grid. i always liked oscar, i know he is an amazing driver and i think lando turned out better than i expected this year (he still needs to mature a bit). both lack consistency tho.
redbull - verstappen/lawson i put them in 3rd place because yeah, we know if max has a fast car he can (put the other drivers on the wall and) deliver some results. i'm curious how they'll be this year, since they lost some key players last year, especially newey. i don't think lawson will be too hot, he might be just the next driver to have his career ruined by rbr.
mercedes - russell/antonelli i honestly believe george is one of the fastest drivers on the grid and he's also a clean driver who's not afraid to take risks BUT i don't trust mercedes to develop a car that's consistently fast (especially without lewis' input). kimi is a prodigy but i fear toto is screwing up his career by making him skip f3 and not letting him do another year of f2. his 2024 was of highs and lows and he would probably benefit of more time, but oh well
williams - albon/sainz here we have two reasonably good drivers on a reasonably good team and that's it?. like, i don't mean to be offensive, but i look at this team and all i think of is "mid" (and that if williams manages to give them a decent car and they manage to not crash every couple of laps)
haas - ocon/bearman i really like this duo! esteban is one of my favorite drivers and i do hope he finally has an opportunity on a team that supports him and recognizes his talent. oli already proved he is talented enough with all the times he was called to replace a driver last year, and i think a midfield team will be better for his first full season than the pressure that will come antonelli's way.
sauber - hulkenberg/bortoleto as much as it pains me to admit, hulk had a pretty interesting season last year (in parts thanks to kmag, but i do admit he is a better driver this time around) and i like gabi, i think he has a lot of potential to develop on a midfield team, without so much pressure and he will benefit from a more experienced teammate (even if i think it will be a miracle if they manage to score points any time this year).
aston martin - alonso/stroll ok, so hear me out: i don't think lance is a disgrace to motorsports, as most fans like to make of him AND i don't think alonso is god's gift to f1 either. to me, lance is a pretty average driver, with some good moments, and alonso is an okay driver that got luck with his 2 titles and somewhow convinced the media he is a genius. at least lance seems like a nice guy. i don't think newey is enough to save this team btw and i don't care too much about them
racing bulls - tsunoda/hadjar i don't have much of an opinion on hadjar and i think yuki is too good for this team and he will crush another teammate. i also think we should give yuki a gun and let him alone with marko for 15 minutes.
alpine - gasly/doohan this will be a shit show, both are good drivers but i think there will be too much drama behind the scenes and not enough results on track because the car won't be good enough.
literally no one asked me, but i'd love to hear other opinions so my ask is open or whatever

Everyone keeps discusing the Lando vs Max thing, Georgie boy being the winner, Carlos getting a podium, Charles and his perpetual bad luck (along with Checo), the Alpines going at it again with Alonso eating popcorn behind them (that 'wow' on Alonso's radio was amazing), Pierre's 'Ciao!' as he passed Esteban (I roughly translated it as 'fuck you'), Checo driving with a hole the entire race and everyone hating him because of it... but these guys need more love:
Tumblr media
They ROCKED! I mean, both getting points and trying so hard. I'm even happy for KMag, even though I'm still salty for the crash with Checo.
Nico has been amazing this 2024, this is why I wish Checo would have joined the Audi project and being his teammate. They deserve cookies, love and recognition.
Not to mention Oscar Piastri, he deserved the Driver of the Day thing, honestly. What he did on that track was absolute madness.

it’s just, he truly gave everything to Williams. it was his team and he was loyal to a fault and what was the thanks he got? his TP talking to the press every week about who he wants to fill his seat, his car being taken from him when his teammate crashes, his TP saying he’s underperforming but giving him a shitty heavy car with no upgrades for a long period of the season and when he finally got the upgrades and the car didn’t weigh the same as an elephant he was acc consistent except for when people like KMag took him out in the race, then he crashes in the wet in FP and his TP axes him mid-season with the argument that they can’t afford anymore crashes but replaces him with an F2 rookie that hasn’t even finished their first year in F2? and they announced the 2025 seat BEFORE announcing he wasn’t re-signing, and announced his mid-season replacement BEFORE announcing he was being dropped. it was all so bad that when he crashed his gut reaction was to apologise instead of letting his team know he was ok. the way that he’s been treated, and the slander of his talent, is acc disgusting and how’s he reacted? with unbelievable amounts of respect and kindness without a bad word said about anyone. he’s just always seemed so quiet and polite and kind and I just wanna wrap him up in a blanket and carry him round in my pocket. and like it’s so hard bc I wanted him to stay in F1 to prove them all wrong and to live up to what I know he was destined to achieve but at the same time I’m so relieved for him. he’s finally out of that shitty situation, with a shitty TP that consistently undermined him, and he can go on to just getting that love for racing back.

Hi! Hope you're having a good time💜 Any opinions the Haasbands? (Kevin x Nico)
OMG HI! Hope you’re having a great time too
As for the ask game
HAASBANDS?!? BOY DO I HAVE SOME STRONG OPINIONS ON THIS !! So sorry op this might be posted a bit late cuz i have TOO MANY THOTS AND FEELINGS OVER THEM OK LETS START:
Obviously, the HISTORY. Ik the most “relevant”/spoken about F1 rivalries are brocedes/lestappen these days but we really have to look into Haasbands cuz they’re THE enemies to lovers story, like actual rivals who fell hard for eo.
We all know about the infamous “suck my balls” comment from Kevin, about Nico and Kevin butting heads on track, how they apparently hated eo till suddenly they’re teammates and they mesh so well tgt that Nico calls it a fucking “romance”.
There’s soooo much nuance to their dynamic to unpack here though. The general consensus is “guard-dog kevin” and “level-headed nico” but LETS TALK ABOUT THE INNER WORKINGS OF THEIR DYNAMIC PRE-MARRIAGE OK. In an interview, Kevin talked about how the “hatred” was one-sided, that despite the hot-headed comment during that interview, Kevin has never disliked Nico, rather he always respected the older as a fellow driver.
This flips the “level-headed nico” characterization on it’s head because look: pre-marriage Hulknussen was basically a one-sided rivalry where Nico was a petty bitch and giving Kevin the silent treatment, whilst Kevin was leaving all the rivalry and anger on the track, more or less wilfully oblivious to the “enemies” narrative. He respected Nico as a person and just was chill with him off track, but on track Kevin fights for his life no matter who he’s up against.
Now post-marriage Haasbands arc brings us two dudes who are much more mature, definitely have a much different perspective in life (cuz of the families they’ve built). They’ve grown as people obv and when they were more or less forced to be co-workers they had to suck it up like real adults and act like professionals.
But when they were actually working tgt, they found that it was easy. They got along on a fundamental level. Kevin always held that respect for Nico as a driver and person and when Nico actually allowed himself to give Kevin a chance, to talk to the guy and see him for the person he is off-track, not just as the aggressive and fearless fighter in the car, he grew a genuine respect and appreciation for Kevin as a person.
Among all the ships, i’d say Haasbands is the most sane one. They go from genuine rivalry/one-sided hatred and one-sided ignorance, to a friendship, mutual respect, peaceful relationship.
Obviously that’s just the brief overview of it but let’s not overlook the INSANITY within their dynamic cuz i am in no way discounting “guard-dog kmag”. He’s a fiercely protective warrior on the track and we’ve seen firsthand how he will fucking kamikaze for fhe sake of nico getting a point, how he will openly speak up about anything unfair that happens with Nico, like with nico and daniel’s crash this year. Kevin is a man in love and he’s a man who will lay his life on the line for it.
NICO. He’s level-headed alright. He’ll very calmly with the sweetest smile on his face threaten any lifeform that harms Kevin in any way. He’s a sweetheart sure but he’s just as nuts for Kev as kev is for him. His raw thoughts on Kmag’s race ban is a prime example of it.
These two are like actual fuckin husbands, they’ll protect eo to the end. And the domesticity between them makes me gag like ok get a room guys we get it yall are in LOVE
the kmag birthday clip? Them watching sports tgt outside of WORK duties? The way they’re constantly complimenting each other without faltering, almost tryna one-up eo in a compliment battle in the driver rankings videos? The compliments outside of those too like they are genuinely obsessed with each other?! I could go on but we’d be here all day so. Just know they’re sickeningly, tooth-rottingly sweet with eo
Welp i’ve rambled long enough lmao sorry if u subjected urself to my disjointed thoughts i just have so many Feelings™️ about haasbands they’re one of my otps lol they’re just so PERFECT they’re THE enemies to lovers like real fuckin enemies to lovers.
(As for my nsfw thoughts i think they’re pure switches but Nico lets his short gremlin male-wife take care of him more cuz he’s very fond and will do wtv Kevin wants THANK YOU)

the Perfect Abu Dhabi 2024 looks like this:
hamilton has a good last race with mercedes. i don't need him to be on the podium (although that really would make everything perfect, even fairytale-like. or imagine a win...) (okay. the delusions got me there for a second) but i cannot watch him struggle through his last ever mercedes race like he struggled in qatar. the white racing suits are already making me sappy, i can't handle another misfortunous weekend for him.
but you know what actually. on a brighter note and if we are already on the topic of delusions, nico hulkenberg is on the podium, thank you very much. no notes.
but back to being serious,
franco colapinto has a good race. even though in qatar through no fault of his own was he involved in an unfortunate collision, the fact that he had three crashes in two races (although i really think that brazil and its extreme conditions allow for a slightly more forgiving assessment of his performance) is not improving his chances of being on the grid next year. or ever again, really. the f1 community likes to have a recency bias, and a tendency to demand perfection immediately, allowing no room for improvement. these factors are pointing towards an exit sign and i can only hope that even if he doesn't finish abu dhabi with a bang (a good type of bang, please. one with points perhaps. definitely one that lacks anything to do with walls or gravels or broken cars), the prospects of utilizing the insane south american market that he has behind him is enticing enough for a team to still consider him.
bottas has a good race. and by that i mean points. unlikely, i know but delusions and hope keep people happy.
we have a good fight for p2 in the driver standings and for the constructors championship win. i need the mclaren and ferrari girls to fight fight.
kmag throws out any remaining fucks that he could give – it is his last race after all – and wrecks havoc. god bless.
but most importantly, i want to see racing, drama and a fitting closing to the insane season that 2024 turned out to be.

Thoughts about the Mexican GP and the season so far.
Very happy at yet another Ferrari win, would have loved the 1-2 but I'll get into that. Any points taken off Lando is great in my books and it's starting to look like McLaren is now at risk of losing the WCC as well if Ferrari keeps this up.
As a Max fan, he absolutely deserved those penalties but I think anyone complaining about how unfair it is, is being silly. He did the move, got the penalties. That's fair. Fucking around and finding out is a gamble all drivers make at some point, sometimes getting those penalties is a price they're willing to pay.
My biggest issue with the narrative and criticism Max has been getting about those two incidents is that it was sloppy driving. I think Martin Brundle called his second move a "red mist" moment and I think in light of what Max has said about the incidents, that is just untrue. I think it's fairly clear to see it was a calculated decision that Max made as soon as he realized that the RB20 did not have the power to hold the McLaren behind. In his own words, without the penalties he may have ended up ahead of the Mercs but Lando probably would have won the race.
He dropped a possible 13 point loss to 10. That's a championship move, that's how you win the WDC. Race wins and podiums don't matter to Max at this point clearly (yes he would prefer to be winning, obviously) his goal going into every weekend is just about finishing higher than Lando or as close to him as possible. That car does not have the tools for him to go offensive and outscore Lando every race so of course he will do anything in his power to ruin Lando's races and slow him down and get in his way. It's strategy.
And dragging that car back from 20s of penalties to P6 was a feat in and of itself, especially if you look at the races that Perez and Piastri had. Especially Piastri, considering he had the whole race and superior machinery and ended up in P8, behind Max and KMag. Really not a good weekend from him overall.
Onto the Ferrari's. I honestly don't know what to say, Carlos was incredibly strong all weekend, well deserved win. But once again it feels like Ferrari sometimes really struggles in managing to bring home a 1-2. They're often too afraid of their drivers fighting out front which is fair but asking your other driver to lift and coast every five minutes or so was a ridiculous call that cost them the 1-2. You cannot LICO on hard tyres for the majority of a race and keep temperature in them, which makes you lose grip and nearly crash as we saw. Charles was very lucky and very quick to catch that snap before it put him in the wall.
Not taking away from Carlos' performance because he was just the quicker driver that weekend but once again when he comes under pressure from Charles he tries to get Ferrari to pull team orders. It's something he has done time and time again and it gets a bit frustrating to see. If team orders had not been established prior to the race, he had no grounds to come on the radio and comment on Charles closing the gap in the first stint. If I heard that radio message without context I would have thought Charles had dive bombed him or something, it was ridiculous.
Now, I know Carlos was asked to lift and coast too but I think in context to Carlos' radio message and the weird atmosphere between them after the race (could be reading into) I don't think Charles was particularly happy with the strategy.
And finally McLaren. I think we are so wrapped up in the hype of having such a competitive season that we're not seeing what this year is going to end up being for McLaren and that is: disastrous. They've been so shockingly indecisive this whole season and I think if Ferrari keeps this performance in the last leg of the season it is going to cost them the WCC as well because they've just been acting like they've got it in the bag and I think that's the key difference in attitude between McLaren and Red Bull, to some degree Ferrari too. Max himself has said it, even if he's 50+ points ahead he's not going to let Lando pass him easily because that's not how you win. Dropping your guard and thinking you're safe is how you lose, coasting to a win is how you lose, if that was how Max Verstappen raced he wouldn't be a three time world champion and he certainly wouldn't still be 47 points ahead.
But it feels almost like McLaren are just assuming that the WCC is safe because they have good drivers and the fastest car but I think there is a possibility they're going to walk away with nothing and it's going to be very embarrassing for them because everyone expected immediate performance from their drivers once given a championship car, that's what everyone has been saying about both Lando and Oscar for the past few years, that they're championship material and they just need the car.
I don't disagree, I think they both will get a WDC eventually but it's put them both on these pedestals of performance that they've just been unable to live up to yet. Lando has not been consistent, he has shown he has a long way to go in terms of wheel to wheel battling and needs to improve his ability to make calls and strategy decisions on the track and Oscar has to be more competitive in qualifying if he wants to pose a threat to Lando.
And the team needs to pull it together if they want to win. Stop asking your drivers so much, don't let them call all the shots on strategy because it doesn't work. Sometimes when I hear their radio messages I actually start to lose my mind because why are they having full conversations? It's too much information for too little. Drivers should never be that involved in the strategy, it's distracting for them and shows everyone else how little faith the strategists seem to have in themselves. It feels like they're improvising as they go.
All in all, I think this season is going to do more for Max's reputation than any other championship season he's had. 2023 was dominant and incredible but people will always just say he had no competition and therefore it means nothing which is an insane thing to say about the most successful singular season in the history of the sport, 2022 for some reason people just write off. Once again, they'll just say he had the best car so of course he'll win, and 2021 is obviously fraught with controversies that overshadow what was objectively a brilliant season for Max. But 2024? It's showing that he does not need the fastest car to win. Not even the second, but the third fastest car (at points the fourth) and he's still 47 points ahead.
It's brilliant. Hasn't won a race in months and he's still winning. In a car that at points didn't even turn, with an engine that seems to want to fail every other weekend, with a practically non-existent teammate, and a team that feels like it's falling apart around him.
But it's just the car. Okay, so where's Lando? Oh, right, 47 points behind.
See you in Abu Dhabi.

Change The Prophecy (Let it once be me)
[basically a written manifestation for q3 logan and alex, finished 5 minutes before quali]
“It’s like the City of Angels is the closest you’ll get to Heaven, Las Vegas is where you’ll most likely meet the Seven Deadly Sins, Louisiana where you’ll find the ancient witchcraft and the Appalachian where gods go to die,” Dalton says as if this is something Logan should have known. He’s still staring at Logan, the annoyance only an older sibling can have shining through near-crystal blue eyes.
Logan tilts his head, “So you’re saying Florida has that? Like, causal magic?”
Dalton groans, running his hands over his face, “No, dumbass, it’s real, true magic and you fit the criteria to use it.”
Logan is still confused, “There’s criteria?”
“Yes! Pure of heart, intentions and will. You let them put Alex in your car in Australia and weren’t even that upset about it.”
Logan frowns, “Yes I was?”
Dalton rolls his eyes, this was so not the point, “And when Kmag crashed into you in Miami, you guys talked it out! Others would’ve brought down hell with them.”
Okay, so he’s still lost, but to avoid the risk of his brother pushing him off the boat, he nods. He’s not sure what the fuck Dalton is on and he really doesn’t want to know either.
The waters are shallow when Dalton pushes Logan in, following after him. The water is strangely warm despite it being one in the morning. Logan trusts that his brother isn’t planning to leave him here like that one time when he was five.
They end up at a half-circle rock formation. There’s a pool of water in it, almost like the one from H2O except it has an opening to the rest of the sea.
Dalton looks at him, motioning for Logan to jump in. Logan, being the younger brother and constantly fighting the urge to both get away from his brother and wanting to stick close to him, jumps in.
The water is icy, almost as cold as the ice baths in Singapore. It washes over him, submerging himself completely into the water. He remembers to calm himself when his chest tightens, his limbs loosening.
He opens his eyes, trying not to be surprised at the fact that his eyes don’t burn despite the saltwater. He tilts his head up, looking at the moon through the ripples of the water.
He decides to throw caution into the wind, closing his eyes.
Help me become the greatest, he thinks, his chest tightening again and the pressure in his head expanding, help me prove them wrong.
Above him the waxing crescent moon shines a bit brighter.
***
Dalton calls him dumb for staying under there for so long. Logan didn’t even know how long he had been under, it felt like seconds more than anything.
Logan doesn’t have time to argue and before he knows it, his back at the factory. It had been roughly a week since then and they were currently preparing for Canada.
He knew something was up when James sought him out, his usual calm composure roughed up as he spots Logan. He visibly brightens up and Logan gets a nervous feeling in his stomach.
“Logan! Good news, the new parts just came in.” He says, “The mechanics have been working all night to put them together.”
Logan blinks. The parts were estimated to come through towards the mid-season, something that Logan has been silently hating on since he found out.
“That’s-that’s great!” He says, his voice cracking. James continues to talk, something about the weight and new specs and half-sincere apologies for making him drive in the car he has.
Logan smiles stiffly, patting James on the back when his team principal pulls him into a bone-crushing hug.
He finds Alex a few minutes later, the elder lying on one of the couches with papers in his hands. Logan thumps his legs as he passes by, startling him slightly.
“Hey! I heard about the car,” Alex says sitting up and tossing the papers onto the table, “How are you feeling?”
Logan shrugs. He doesn’t really know. He’s been fighting with the car since the start of the season. He sees the way the other drivers become one with their cars, being able to steer it the way it should be while he’s praying he doesn’t crash into the barriers at every turn.
“Just hoping everything works out.” He says, “Is Jenson in?”
Alex shrugs, “I think so, he’s coming with us to Canada.”
Logan nods, “I’m gonna go see if I can find him.”
Alex waves him off and Logan continues down the building until he reaches Jenson’s office. The driver is there, slouched over his desk, glasses sitting in the bridge of his nose, the glare of his computer nearly blinding.
“You’re gonna go blind.” Logan says, switching the lights on. Jenson smiles, taking off his glasses and switching off his computer.
“Hey kid.” Jenson says as Logan collapses onto his couch. It’s stupidly comfortable and Logan has taken naps on there.
“Heard about the car,” There’s some shuffling before a chair being pushed back before Jenson’s voice sounds closer, “How’s that going?”
“I dunno know.” Logan mumbles, “Haven’t tried it yet.”
Jenson stares at him, and then a little bit more because he can hear the anxiety in his voice, the fear that maybe he is problem and not the car. Jenson hasn’t known Logan that long, but the need to reassure him that he’ll be great is so sharp it startles him. Fernando, Nico and Mark have always said he gets to invested, to caught up with something to see the bigger picture, but what if for Jenson, Logan is the bigger picture.
“You’ll do great.” Jenson says, voice steady but heavy with enough conviction and confidence that Logan feels it settle his frayed nerves.
——
The reassurances seemed to have worked, along with the basically new car. Canada was wet and cold, but Logan feels himself get comfortable as he goes through the motions to prepare for qualifying.
He looks up, at the barest strip of blue sky and closes his eyes.
Please, please, please, he begs before he’s ushered to his car. Practice had been great, placing the highest for himself so far.
He watches the lights, watching them flicker from red to green before they take off.
It feels like he’s watching from the outside, seeing the car glide easily around the corners. He doesn’t look anywhere but ahead, keeping his eyes out for the next car.
He listens to Gaetan, boxes when he needs to, overtakes when it’s safe and does his best to stay within track limits. He defends Alex, stays behind him until they agree to let him through.
They both make it to Q2.
It’s the same from there: overtake, defend, play offense. It’s nerve wrecking when he sees two cars swing into the barriers and the safety car comes out. Once they’re cleared, Alex and him continue, fighting and defending into Gaetan is telling him their in Q3.
Logan doesn’t focus on who’s out, keeping his head steady as they’re off again. He’s nervous, but he’s made it to Q3, and from here, his position is settled.
The two fight for positions, Logan isn’t sure which ones but before he knows it, they’re done.
P8.

I don't get it why they're hating on checo:( he's a good driver, I've been watching the race for last week and it's so fucked up the fact that he's already out in Q1 and his fucking engineer Hugh bird I'm coming after you! They put checo on rain tyres ON A FUCKING dry track, YES DRY TRACK because the rain didn't come so soon, they did the same to Charles I think, also checo getting a penalty for that as well, also in Monaco when he crashed KMAG didn't get a penalty, it's "No more further investigation" all the racist comments about him too, like all his fans are Mexican bitch I live in an Asian country and I support checo since his Racing point season and he's a damn good driver. He's so under pressure now because of all the hate comments about him, his teams strategies for him, his damn engineer, idk man I just want all this to stop, he doesn't deserve all of this:( I saw this post on my local f1 group page, they be hating on checo a lot too, making it as a meme as well!

ok ok i know a lot of posting i just have a lot to say and i feel bad making my friends hear about it on my private story😭 anyways!!
first of all, did a deep dive about the 1982 drivers strike led by niki lauda. my thoughts? DRIVER SLEEPOVER!! that’s so so funny to me, and my main question is could they even all understand each other? like did they all have a language in common or were they just like. using each other as translators if they couldn’t understand another driver? idk, it’s all just so interesting to me.
second of all, kevin magnussen. i don’t know how to even convey my feelings and opinions on kmag. i love him. he’s one of my favourite drivers, because he’s always seemed so chill and down to earth. i was going back through his old instagram posts from when he left f1, and the way haas still liked every post of his? his post wishing romain well after his crash. the way romain consistently liked his post. the one comment from esteban saying they’ll see him again soon when he left. just. ugh. i have a lot of feelings about kmag. the way he talked about wanting to be an f1 driver when he was a kid and his teachers laughing at him and how he had no idea how he was gonna make it but he was sure he would. AND HE DID!!! i think about him a lot guys.
nico hulkenberg too. i think about both of the haas drivers like an unreasonable amount. they are the haas dads, how could anyone not love them? also, nico and kevin are actually both so unbelievably fine, don’t even try and argue!!

I just looked at the F1 post about Logan’s crash and I’m so fucking pissed. People are literally blaming Logan for KMag crashing into him. I know that most of these people are xenophobic Europeans who hate Logan, but you can literally see the it was Kmag’s fault! How can you just say that Logan should have been more aware?! That’s utter fucking bs. Logan may not be the best driver on the grid, but he got where he is because he’s good at what he does.
He was having such a good weekend and KMag ruined that shit. All the Europeans can think of saying is that it’s loans fault when he isn’t at fault
People are literally think Kevin for crashing Logan out of the race. Someone literally said they were happy it happened because he’s American. I don’t wish bad things on people, but I wish every single xenophobic cretinous idiot in that comment section gets the karma they deserve for the things they’re saying about Logan.
to be quite honest, I’m seeing why some women are choosing to hate men. I am not a mess and I will never be, but these European men in the comments who think they know formula better than the sport itself make me wanna hate men I’m not gonna lie. But I’m not going to, I’m not even gonna be xenophobic and say I should start hating Europeans the way that they hate on Americans for no reason. God will give them what they deserve.
Sorry for bringing religion into this aren’t religious or comfortable with
I put a cw in the tags if you have it blocked

Anyways, see y'all in Baku!

I've seen in one of your post saying that Checo and Nico Hulkenburg kinda fall off?? I've known that they race in Gp2 at the same time and look quite closed. But they don't look close (from what I see) anymore. Genuinely asking, what happened between those two??
Side note: Love your blogs btw. It's so informative and positive 💕💕.
Oh yes, if we are talking history, I think Checo and Nico are similar to Brocedes. Nico and Checo were competing together in GP2, sharing a few podiums and being cute together:
Tumblr media
Look at them! They were just babies. Loving how Nico always had his arm around Checo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They became sort of friends, Checo has always said he admires Nico and he is his biggest competition. He has told his Dad, his brother, and in interviews. With his Dad, he said that if Nico ever made it to a big team, that would be the hardest fight. And to his brother, who asked him who was the strongest driver he had competed, Checo said 'Hulkenberg without a doubt'.
Nico entered F1 a year before Checo, so they kind of drifted apart... until they become teammates in Force India. But as close as they were, also they were extremely competitive. Otmar (head of the team) said that they were always trying to outdo each other, Hulkenberg managed the first year they were teammates, and Checo did it the second year, right when Nico decided to leave the team.
Those two years we witnessed them being competitive even in the team dynamics. There was an origami challenge and Checo was super pissed because Nico actually knew how to do that, it was wild. I think that created a little strain between them, but it wasn't as noticeable because we were in the middle of the divorcing of Brocedes, and that took the cake.
By the final year of Nico in the team, they were a little off, and not as close as before, standing in different places in the drivers' parade. Never stopped talking or made passive-agressive digs at each other like Brocedes (or crashed into each other), but the distance was there.
They seemed to reconnect when Nico moved to another team... but then 2020 came.
Apparently Max and Marko wanted Hulkenberg for the seat in RBR, and Horner wanted Checo. In the end, Checo got it, and Hulkenberg was out of a seat; these are just rumours, but apparently that didn't sit well with Nico and strained their relationship again. I read interviews with Nico saying that he was in talks with RBR, but Checo won in Sakhir and that sealed the deal.
Also, and that's beside the point but it adds to people perceiving some sort of feud between Checo and Nico, Nico was a little agressive with Checo, kicking him (playfully, never in a bad way), pouring things on him (those were more questionable) and making unfortunate comments about Checo. Nico is just like that, like when he approached KMag and said a sarcastic comment, and my shipper side saw this as pulling imaginary pigtails, but that's just my delusions.
Now Nico and Checo seem to be keeping a respectful distance, but not as close as they were before; they chat and act friendly, but not as teasing and sarcastic as they once interacted (they both were little shits and kept making weird jokes).
That's why I want Checo to go to Audi, so they reconnect once more and revive Hulkenrez!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at them! Power couple!!! 💖💖💖
Sorry for the long rant @lunarprophetuwu , as you can see, Hulkenrez is one of my weak spots. I hope I could actually clarify things and not make it more confusing.
And thank you for your lovely comments!! Happy of meeting amazing people like you who enjoy fandom without being mean! Hugs for you! 🤗🤗
I leave you with the power couple, even in different teams:
Tumblr media
Checo likes' them tall your honor.

MONZA GP THOUGHTS
Before anything else, i wanna note that i predicted a charles, lando, carlos podium - in that order - on f1 play☝🏻 (i hope louis and i manifested that win lol)
Ok so my race summary:
Mclaren missed their opportunity of a 1-2, idk if they had given specific orders to oscar and lando but it would've improved their chances if they had forbidden them to race each other before a certain point (oscar overtaking lando was banger tho)
I didn't really see what happened to yuki but I was so sad for him that he dnfed :(
I still don't know much ab penalties but i feel like giving 10s to ricciardo bc a mechanic touched his car when he had technically served the 5s already was a bit harsh
I am honestly shocked that kmag got a race ban bc of his collision w pierre like it didn't lead to a severe crash so i fr don't get why they did that, it seems extremely unfair
Max's 6s pit stop was insane😭 what happened to rbr recently (+ when he criticised the lack of messages from the team i lost it)
I NEEDED BOTTAS TO SCORE POINTS😔😔 he was doing so good at one point and was even P9
"Papaya rules"😝 (got me laughing lol)
"Mamma mia mamma mia" + fred congratulating him for both monaco and monza, i was so emotional🤧
Anyways, I am so fucking happy for charles🫶🏻 he deserves this sm and I'm over the moon that he won his home race + his team's race in the same year❤️ he did so well and was able to create an opportunity for himself as soon as the 1st lap so kudos to him, victory always looks magnificent on charles<3
Forza ferrari mfs‼️
