So sobering to wake up and realise that there are people on here who don't even have a moral last ditch, any red line whatsoever and that the comfort of a parasocial relationship is dearer to them than the dignity of human lives. Lance Stroll is the son of a billionaire and there is no spot on god's green earth he could not have spent his summer break but instead he's vacationing in the zone of interest, partying in the country that has live streamed a genocide for almost 20 months with someone who works for the IDF. He decided to go party near the concentration camp with a concentration guard. Repulsive beyond measure.

Doing the whole, 'oh, but everyone in f1 is a bad person' take is really fucking irritating when we're talking about one of drivers literally vacationing in fucking Israel right now while Palestinians being starved a few kilometres away

feels great to be a normal person that doesn’t align their morals with random celebrities and actually goes outside and tries to make a difference instead of making virtue signaling posts on the internet

Okay, so let me get this straight. Sid shows total class and demonstrates what a kind and caring teammate he is to Orpik on the way home from the Olympics and Orpik returns the favour by trying to strip Sid of his C while he's suffering with a concussion the very next season. What an asshole!
That story always blows my mind, from how Sid reacted to it (telling the media that reports were exaggerated, because OF COURSE he did, and he absolutely wants to preserve the image of team unity and that he has the locker room under control) to the guys who were "reportedly" involved... Orpik, Cooke, Adams (who fought [like for REAL fought] with Geno in practice) and Staal...
Orpik in particular seems to have had bad relationships with both Sid and G, actually. Yohe once said that Orpik and Sid had an "interesting" relationship, and Orpik also used to make a lot of subtle comments during post-game interviews criticizing teammates for being too flashy with their play, which often read like a criticism of Geno.
In the early days Sid had some problems gaining respect from older veterans in general; they found him soft. Mark Recchi (when he played on the team) definitely let that slip.
I'm so grateful for the team we have now. As much as I miss Sid having older-brother-style players on his team (which I know he adores, like Duper), I'm SO happy that this team, inside and out of the locker room, respects their captain and trusts him to lead the team.
That Sid's A's, Geno and Tanger, are his most steadfast and powerful allies, certainly helps.

a scene must be included PRIOR to sex where the characters READ their birth certificates OUT LOUD so the reader will know they were born on the SAME DATE to avoid any disgusting AGE GAPS
