hhrrrggghhhh it seems every time I have the motivation and energy to draw my tablet decides to start dying on me again :(
So I'm doing the slightly smarter thing and looking at investing in a new one and also a separate utility laptop for work/writing/gaming/anything that Isn't drawing which I've been meaning to do for a w h i l e

one thing I haven't seen anyone say about watcher yet, but has really disappointed me, is that only three months ago they mentioned in the truth about filming ghost files video that they had to let go of 5 (if I'm remembering the number properly) employees. and when I watched that video I was disappointed that hey hadn't planned the business properly to avoid things like that, but they are primarily creatives, so I figured there would be some business mistakes made along the way. but then hearing they just hired the 2 worth it guys and are reviving an expensive show... I feel like they could've prevented the lay offs better
#watcher#i know they said steven's more business-minded but as someone who did their schooling in business i have constantly questioned their choices#they have just consistently made bad start-up decisions#just the firing and then hiring in such close time really irked me because (and im not saying this is reality)#it seemed like they freed up part of their budget with that to bring their friends back#idk it's just disheartening to see#i wish i could keep looking at with them being unaware and making bad business decisions but there's a point where they gotta know better#and i know everyone is dogpiling on steven but i don't think a lot of these decisions made without at least one of the ghoul boys agreeing#:/#i feel like they never really went through the bootstrapping phase and that is integral for the majority of start-ups#for at least 5 years - cause most start-ups don't start making money until after that point#this became a whole separate rant in the tags whoops

I may be out of the loop lore wise, but with the multiplayer game, it makes it seem Leith Pierre survived the hour of joy and before the main events of the game was actively trying to get research back. So like. Hundreds of people died or went missing in that factory and then it shut down and that was it ? I mean kids and some nosier employees already went missing, along w the theater incident (whatever that was about) having upward of 60 people dead and covered up so. How does Leith have the power to do all that? Honestly, if they go with this all being Leith trying to make money and selling the bigger bodies as weapons to the government, it'd make sense. Bc turning kids into toys seems way more expensive than just making the damn toys

ive decided that my newest hobby is mixology this is who i am now
#i just made such a good shaken passionfruit daiquiri i can not stress enough how good this is#i would make another one but i forgot to make ice before i started so i barely had enough for the first one rip#winter came n i switched from ice coffees to hot ones and forgot to make ice for god knows how long apparently#yapping#anyway im tired of having to drink beer when ppl come over n we all drink i dont even like beer#i like my silly little cocktails and now i dont have to pay a fortune to have them YIPPEEE#i love how im acting as if ive never made cocktails before when i used to work as a literal bartender for like half a year AHHAHAHA#i dont drink a lot to be clear sometimes i wont touch alcohol for over a month it rly depends on the vibes of the functions i guess#also not a big fan of drinking by myself ngl#but i think sharing cocktails with dani and shady would be so fun actually#were thinking of having a jojo part 6 watch party with cocktails with the three of us yay !!!!#in the time ive sat here going “aw i dont have any ice :^(” my freezer would have made new ice by now#but yeah im still learning what i like taste wise i guess! but so far im sticking to what i know i like#so... mojito. pina colada. daiquiri... those vibes#i like cosmopolitans as well but i didnt buy shit to make those (i do have to be mindful of having a budget i guess.. maybe next month)#im talking too much rn but. point is. this is fun and cute and i like it#wish i had more than one cocktail glass i guess#but danis a 192cm clumsy man who keeps breaking any fragile glasses i own when he washes the dishes#but i refuse to wash the dishes myself so ill just buy new ones#he cant even fit his hand in my champagne glasses and i still insist on him washing them.. maybe i am the problem actually 😐

Not having new linear games post 5 its judt that sims 4 wasnt even supposed to Be The Sims 4 it was a last minute pivot and the base code is so outdated and was broken On launch so like. i just wish we could have the final actual sims game be like. one that was always intented to be a major sims release AND be intended to be so long term . yk

oh goddd we just got to the part in our hxh 1999 rewatch where it switches from the main series to the OVAs (mid yorknew arc!!) & the change in art/animation style is so much more jarring than I remember. it has neither the old school 90s charm & nice soft color plate of 99 style nor the bright, crisp & reliably on model character drawings of the 2011 style. my god it just looks like absolute shit. the opening/ending is horrific too. no wonder I just deleted the OVAs from my memory entirely
#and to think ive been demanding dark continent ovas. if they'll be anything like the low budget bullshit of these ovas then KEEP THEM‼️#ppl ask (well no but I ask myself) whether I prefer 99 or 2011 character designs. truthfully I enjoy both equally#anything but the ovas#oh but there are certain moments during yorknew specifically in the 99 series where kurapika just doesnt even look like himself at all#they change the shape of his eyes too much. they fully go from giant moe shoujo eyes in exam arc to edgelord bishie eyes & its jarring#& its not just off model moments they intentionally draw it like that. I like the shift better in 2011#but they give him blue eyes in 99 instead of gray which is cute. except BOTH are wrong theyre SUPPOSED TO BE FUCKING BROWN#but only the trashed 98 pilot got that right. they also made his hair brown for that one though it was weird#dont mind me im just talking about things absolutely no one but me cares about again

Quigley‚ it is revealed (very slowly) is a newly#released convicted killer (of a 'girl' we learn; no more detail is offered‚ allowing the mind to fill in all sorts of horrible details)#he returns to his home and his family but is entirely unwelcome. the local community unite to make it clear that he must leave. that's#about all there is to the story‚ but Kershaw's treatment is very mature‚ almost courageous. Quigley maintains his innocence but is believed#by nobody‚ except perhaps (perhaps) Mason as his uncertain wife. slowly tho‚ Kershaw makes clear that innocent or not‚ the real horror here#is the mindless prejudice of the community Quigley once belonged to. largely unseen (still a budget production remember) they form a#faceless mob‚ whose presence outside the home (and intrusion into it‚ through bricks thrown or petitions delivered) lends a thick feeling o#unease as the play wears on. the couple's son (a young Hughes) is resolutely with the mob‚ even going so far as to arrange a shady set up#which could mean death for his estranged father. it's important to note though that Quigley isn't entirely sympathetic‚ nor is his guilt#of the crime entirely in question; rather it's irrelevant to the particular situation being explored‚ and actually the play is all the#stronger for muddying those waters and keeping the viewers sympathies in flux. it's a challenging‚ fascinating piece of writing#and well met by a cast of seasoned and always very strong (but never hugely successful) actors#Mason and Quigley in particular carry the play in their unbearably tense reacquaintance in the early scenes

BTW if this is your first time protesting, please keep in mind your abilities.
What I mean by that- is take a look at yourself, and your privledges. How can you use that to the protests advantage?
Please make sure to listen to your fellow protestors, but one thing that can help- is that if you are white, white passing- put yourself between the cops and hijabi protestors. Ask to connect arms with them. Stay grouped TIGHTLY together.
Do not push cops directly. If they are grabbing a fellow protestor and trying to drag them out, you and a buddy should close in and cut the cop off. Bring your fellow protestor back into the crowd. Keep them safe.
Cops will do their best to break up large groups into smaller ones to make it easier to detain, arrest, or beat innocent people.
And on another note- if you have the resources, please remember to bring extra head coverings, or extra fabric that can be used as such. Not only to help fight against gas and smoke attacks, but also to throw over the many hijabi students who get attacked.

hii i’ve been watching you for a couple months now and i was wondering what mic and camera you use?? im trying to start a youtube channel soon and i wanted some kind of foundation and idk where to start 😵💫
hii!! thank you for watching my videos!!
i use the Blue Yeti Mic! If i’m honest, i don’t know that i’d super recommend it for audio beginners. it takes some work to set up and picks up like EVERY sound imaginable. but there is also an abundance of set up tutorials online for it! Blue Snowball is also what i started with and it’s half the price! I got mine used for $15 dollars so definitely look around for that kind of thing if you are on a budget!
My camera is a Canon M50 Mark 2!
I also use canons continous power supply & an elgato capture card for the camera!
and i record /stream using OBS
