I may be out of the loop lore wise, but with the multiplayer game, it makes it seem Leith Pierre survived the hour of joy and before the main events of the game was actively trying to get research back. So like. Hundreds of people died or went missing in that factory and then it shut down and that was it ? I mean kids and some nosier employees already went missing, along w the theater incident (whatever that was about) having upward of 60 people dead and covered up so. How does Leith have the power to do all that? Honestly, if they go with this all being Leith trying to make money and selling the bigger bodies as weapons to the government, it'd make sense. Bc turning kids into toys seems way more expensive than just making the damn toys

#i think when the fkrst chapter released it said that when the player went into work the factory was surrounded by military #and to have the budget for a prison underground and all these scientists #and guards and security #and harvey made them carnivorous on PURPOSE #so they HAD to have been making them weapons on purpose #leith pierre was all about that money so itd make sense he took what ludwig started (which im assuming was to bring back the dead since #poppy is confirmed his kid)#he saw a business opportunity w it and ran to the goverment to get paid #along with using the rejects as toys #and letting harvey do whatever the fuck bc harvey seemed to have some evolutionary shit jn mind #which is dumb as fuck also bc the next step in our history is becoming? felt?#but he also seemed to manipulate stella into seeing the bigger picture #so who knows #its late and im pretty sleepy so sorry for the insane rant #but my theory is leith pierre was in it for the money and let the scientists believe whatever they wanted as long as they gave him results #he could show to the military so theyd keep sending money #(ignoring the fact he calls the bugger bodies initiative a money hole........)
