Bless The October ᥫ᭡。

We are very blessed with Luke's sudden treat on October 3rd when he posted two stories in less than 24 hours. And while he was active, the significant other was rather quiet as if they're playing a game 🤫 (because whenever one upload about bton related thing, the other one is always silent and vice versa). Okay but then, the next day she surprised us with a lovely cutesy picture on a flight that I believe, had us all screaming, crying, throwing up, and kicking our feet ><

Let's break it down!!!

Nic posted a story of her picture on a flight drinking champagne and thanking Aer Lingus for bringing her on a long-awaited holiday. From the interior and seat, she was flying with Aer Lingus Business Class.

Aer Lingus Business Class Routes in the picture below. (They depart only from Dublin Airport, Shannon Airport, and also Manchester Airport). My take: She didn't fly home to Ireland using Aer Lingus Business Class. And according to her upcoming schedule, the narrative that she flew to New York seems more plausible. But it's not from Heathrow Airport!!

Connecting Luke's story and Nic's story metadata. They flew on the same day. From the information above, we know that Nic went on a long-haul flight, but we don't know about Luke.

Let's look back at his story on the October 4th. Luke's luggage picture was taken in British Airways Galleries First Lounge, Heathrow T5 South. This lounge is accessible to: a) First-class passengers b) Gold members of the British Airways executive club c) Oneworld emerald members. So, he doesn't necessarily have to fly first class and he could take any cabin class and enjoy the lounge as long as he's part of point b or c.

People speculated that he could fly to Larnaca, Cyprus because A uploaded a picture from Marina Breeze, Limassol. So, I checked the flight to Larnaca on Oct 4th morning but the time wasn't timing, and here's the reason why :

Some people also speculated that Luke and Nic flew to JFK from LHR together using Aer Lingus. I found out that it was not a possibility, because Nic was using Aer Lingus Business Class which only departs from Dublin/Sharron/Manchester. Aer Lingus 8817 indeed flew from Heathrow -> JFK BUT that flight was operated as British Airways 117.

YES, I'm a firm believer that they flew together hence the teasing within a day difference and flying at the same time. And also the hand gate picture uploaded by her stylist. It was definitely Lukey Newts' hands! The only possible scenario that aligns with my theory is Nic and Luke flew together and they were connecting through Dublin to one of Aer Lingus' long-haul destinations in North America. Since Luke was at Galleries First Lounge BA, T5, LHR around 06.26 am, they could take this flight : BA | LHR -> DUB | BA828 | departed at 08.44 - 09.37 then switched to Aer | DUB -> JFK | EIN105 | departed 11.33, arrived at 18.49 (dublin time) and 13.49 (NY time) THIS WOULD EXPLAIN why was her story picture taken at 16.27 pm (London time) but appeared very bright outside. Because it's around noon time in the United States!!!

As I'm typing this post, we got another sighting of Nic with her bestie Jake Dunn and also at A24’s screening of Nicole Kidman’s “Babygirl” and apparently they also watched SNL together. Good for them and glad they were having fun (as they should!!). p.s. Jake is not only Nic's best friend, but he is a professional actor first and foremost (and also a producer) like Nic who attended a filming screening and could have used this opportunity to network. It's not a pure holiday if you're still attending events here and there. I beg people to respect Jake and not assume that he's just tagging Nic along when he works in the same industry as her.

Did my belief change that she went with Luke? NO 😊😊😊 I believe Luke was busy auditioning or doing something for an upcoming project. Until it's proven wrong that Luke was somewhere else, this is where I stand (⸝⸝> ᴗ•⸝⸝)

And I'm still standing firm and tall believing that Jake is nothing but a very dear gay friend of hers. Yes, I'm assuming his sexuality based on his social interactions and all of the proof shown by @fiamat12 in her amazing blog, as well as some people assuming he's straight just because he was papped hanging out with Nic and the gang for few times. We are all assuming and speculating anyway. Showing support is okay but coming at them and harassing them is never okay. Never okay to JD as well as to A.

Hello! Time for another blog post! I think my last one was two months ago and a lot has happened since 😊

We have been attending a ton of historical recreation events so I still have many photos to share, hope you don't hate those! It's been really fun! We are exhausted and all out of social battery however so we are taking it easy this month. Another thing that's been happening a lot is that even when we are not dressed in historical clothing we keep getting stopped by strangers on the street because of our everyday outfits, it's been like that for a couple of years now so we are no longer startled or nervous about it but it's happening more and more often now and it's so nice! we always end up chatting about the events we go to and our jobs and hobbies and exchanging contacts or they ask for photos and stuff! people are really kind and excited about it and I still find it so surprising in the best way. We grew up in a very hostile city and environment and that makes you paranoid and cynical so these interactions and response has been healing really. I know their words will stick with us for years to come 😭 Sadly the unbearable heat is starting though so that means our outings for the next three months will be limited to the crack of dawn and after sunset 😞 but at least the summer brings a lot of fruit with it so we can sit at home and eat pineapples and strawberries while we wait for autumn.

My family came to visit a few months ago too and we made them watch most of Doctor Who's season one to four and some of our favourite episodes from all the other seasons lmao. And much to our delight they really enjoyed it!! They both loved Ten the most and my step dad is now in love with Martha 🥰

We have also been watching the current season and it's been so fun keeping up with fandom theories in real time and talking about it and speculating with friends in person, it's the first time we get a chance to do it since we got into the series and we are enjoying it a lot!

We also watched season one of Jessica Jones and we loved David's performance as Kilgrave!! He stole the show for real. Kilgrave is such an incredible villain, one of the best I've seen and DT does such an amazing job portraying every aspect of him. He's detestable and volatile and frighteningly powerful and has such an intimidating terrifying presence in the narrative while also being pathetic and vulnerable and ridiculous and childish and so human with all it's worrying implications. It was just so gripping and I wish he had stayed for the rest of the show honestly!! Now we have to pick our next David Tennant series to watch! 😊

Also!! Dragon Age is back!! AHHH I wanted to thank everyone that commented on my last DA pieces, it has made my month to read the comments, I didn't expect so many people to remember my art or my character after so many years and it's so touching and flattering you have no idea 😭💘 I look forward to making more and sharing them with you all, I'm truly grateful for the kindness you've shown me both back then and now I hope you know.

I feel so spoiled lately with all these franchises that I love releasing new content!! I've never been in these many fandoms at once!! I have so many ideas to draw and keep jumping back and forth between drawings from different shows and games AAAAA it's a good and welcome change honestly, keeps me busy and inspired!

Looks like you have some gaps in your jonsa knowledge so I’ll help you out a little 😊

A good place to start would be the jonsa compendium with at least 18 points of independent in-text evidence (not including the broader fun stuff like lotr lit parallels). We can also talk about the multiple allusions to Sansa being betrothed to a Targ (not including the ashford tourney theory already included in the compendium); here, here. Some other little tidbots I enjoy (a la 'blood of winterfell', jon/joff parallels, little in-text parallels, and too many others to mention) are in my parallels tag.

There are the BNFs/theorists who have speculated on jonsa; Alt Shift X and Adam Feldman have both found Jonsa to be significant enough to mention. They’ve been invited to have dinner with GRRM, and he has said Adam Feldman ‘really gets’ asoiaf. So, I kinda hold these theorists as just a bit more credible than whatever the twitter/reddit stans have to say.

And I know you brushed off the chapter analysis but let’s remember that GRRM has said that he is very particular about the sequence of scenes and chapters. So, it’s not absurd to say that the construction of the chapters is something that we should be paying attention to. Ignoring that is fine but don’t pretend like it’s Jonsas reaching, when it’s just your own blind bullheadedness. That being said, here’s an almost never-ending post analysing the in-text Jonsa parallels and references. And then here there's how whenever Jon or Sansa's chapters have a focus on love and marriage, then the other will almost always closely follow.

That's my little english lit seminar done, but I hope you're not too tired bc we've still got our AP hisory and political science class to go! GRRM has stated before that class is important (especially in relation to marriage) and he hates medieval-set stories where the highborn lady happily runs off with the stableboy. So, it's safe to say that Sansa will not be marrying any old glup shitto the fandom wants to pair her with. Her range of suitors is very, very limited. "Jonnel is definetly the same as Jon"...well, if the shoe fits? Like it just lines up too well, it's just a bit cheeky of GRRM to sow issues of northern succession in ASOIAF, all while providing a precedent for an inter-Stark union as a solution to a very similar issue. You could also make the case that Jonnel/Sansa is more of a foil for Jon/Sansa than a direct parallel (as instead of Jon marrying Sansa to supercede her claim, Sansa will choose to marry Jon in order to secure his position after Targ reveal). And really, is this anymore delulu than something like the Jon/Tyrion/Dany three heads of the dragon theories you see around?

Anywaysss this is just a fast and loose run down and better people than me have developed more comprehensive archives of the ever-extending jonsa meta universe, so please supplement your learning with some independent study: here, here, here.

So yeah…the evidence is a little bit deeper than Jon/Jonnel or Val/Sansa. I’m not trying to preach but calling Jonsa out on a lack of evidence or that we’re reaching for anything is giving very much illiterate on your side. If you wanna come into my ask and be a hater again pleassseeee at least do your research first. Next time there will be a quiz before I take anything you say seriously.

As for your question, don't worry, it's fine. It's just a little complicated to write a comprehensive answer since there's some ambiguity involved.

Generally speaking, I would say, no, they have not really mentioned anything specific regarding the LGBT community/rights. During the Kalafina days, their public image was very well-curated so everything was rather restrained and maybe even a little conservative. Not in a particularly strict manner but there was certainly never any mention of political or social issues or really anything that could be misconstrued in a negative or problematic manner.

Occasionally, they have mentioned things in passing on a superficial level regarding overarching concepts such as same-sex attraction but I don't recall them ever explicitly talking or posting about LGBT issues. While they have a lot more freedom as solo artists (at least Keiko and Hikaru), I also don't remember them ever addressing such topics in recent years. Please keep in mind though that I regularly miss Hikaru's Wednesday broadcasts and I've only recently become a member of Keiko's Yodel app service so it's impossible for me to provide a definitive answer to your question.

I would also be curious to know what those other Japanese artists supposedly talk about... I am not really familiar with Japanese artists aside from Kalafina so I don't know in which capacity they talk about the LGBT community/rights. Is this something they do because of personal interest or is it more along the lines of performative virtue signalling to follow trends? I feel like with celebrities and other people in the public eye it's probably the latter so it's not something I would necessarily want our girls to do. Other people might feel differently about this but I am not a fan of all this performative stuff which has sadly become a common occurrence in today's social media world. If you ask me, it comes across as super disingenuous. I don't need anyone to talk about any issue just because it is a hot topic at the moment.

If it is indeed a matter of personal interest, then yeah, I am all for it and I wouldn't mind if the girls did that. I believe the Japanese Netflix show "The Boyfriend" was a solid step in the right direction of a more authentic representation and examination of selected issues but it still remained quite easy to digest/surface-level (so there's room for improvement).

On that note, I would like to come back to something I mentioned earlier. This is where the "complicated/ambiguous" comes in. Not sure if you are aware of this but since the beginning of time, there have been many rumours of Keiko being a more or less closeted lesbian. Obviously, nothing has ever been confirmed and as a general rule, I do not encourage speculations but there's no denying that there have been countless situations throughout the years where one could easily put two and two together in order to draw some conclusions. I have actually written a long essay on Keiko's rumoured homosexuality so feel free to check it out! While I personally don't feel comfortable labeling anyone as anything, I am not at all surprised that so many people are indulging in this sort of speculation. So yeah, there has not really been any specific talk about the LGBT community but I would say all the hints Keiko has been dropping certainly qualify as something....?

#14: Soon As I Get It, You Will (S6E10)

This moment will always have an extra special place in my heart. 😍 It’s when I so clearly in real-time saw that Rick and Michonne were going to perfectly transition to a romantic couple because they’d been in love a long time. I said TWD's opening minutes really used to bless us with some great Richonne content throughout the series, and this one from 6.10, their classic canon ep, is atop the list. This scene paints a clear picture that Rick and Michonne weren't just about to become a couple at the end of the episode - they were going to embrace that they already were one...

I adore domestic Richonne scenes and in this scene, they were just so comfortable and happy living what felt like such a normal morning in their home with their kids. 🥰 Moments like this are what I most want for Rick and Michonne and their children. It's the good, happy, peaceful life they deserve.

The scene starts with Rick and his belt, which I gotta say always makes me think the writers were going for a bit of an innuendo lol. Then the shot makes it a point to show that Rick has taken his ring off. That’s definitely a big indicator that he’s now in a place to more fully and healthily move into a new chapter (and to signal to Michonne 'I'm ready when you are' perhaps lol).

Rick grabs the watch but leaves the ring, and that is such an intentional shot. It symbolizes that it’s time to move forward, in love especially, and Rick is finally ready in proper ways to do that.

And he knows who he’s meant to move forward with - Cuz then she shows right up to his door looking glowy and gorgeous in a robe. 🤗

I love that Michonne feels comfortable enough to approach his room in her robe and towel and ask if he has any toothpaste left and that Rick cutely teases her about using his toothpaste the last few weeks. They bring out such a playful flirty side of each other, and I love it.

Rick’s smile when he teases her and then Michonne's reaction...😊 I know that house felt like a sauna the last few weeks with all that steamy tension they’ve been trying to keep the lid on. 

And I like that whatever happened in the last two weeks broke their ability to downplay their attraction - because the way Rick and Michonne are looking and reacting to each other in this scene...you know I gotta use my favorite word - the attraction is palpable.

I’ll also just always love that even when TF all moved into separate houses, Michonne stayed with her Grimes family. She’s one of them fr.

Michonne sounds like such a mom when she calls for Carl, and Carl sounds like her teenage son when he responds with a low-key attitudinal “What?” This is the first we’re hearing from Carl since getting his eye shot out and it tells you he’s definitely still that same feisty-when-he-wants-to-be kid. 😂 

I love the moment when Rick says he can’t hear Carl and has him come on out. And the smile Rick gives Michonne and the way she amusedly looks at him and subtly rolls her eyes when they wait for Carl to come over. 🤭

And then, after Rick smiles at her, he has this extremely telling reaction like he’s trying to play off whatever he’s so clearly feeling about her before Carl comes and catches his whipped self.

But Rick ain’t ever been slick when it comes to how he feels about Michonne, and so even in that little squint that he does, it’s clear this man has caught all the feelings there is to catch lol. This is a man in love, I tell you. And he knows it now. 🤗

I adore their energy here and I repeat this is not how people who are just friends look at each other. This scene is just so fun too cuz there’s no speculation needed by this point - it is factual that Rick and Michonne are both more aware that they are attracted to and in love with this person in front of them. And it’s sweet to see them be all smiley about it in their final pre-canon scene.

Truly, the only thing they were waiting on at this point was knowing for sure the feelings they felt were mutual.

Carl gives another little attitudinal 'what?' to Rick and when Carl repeats what he said about Denise, Rick says it at the same time as him and it’s such a dad moment. Michonne laughs and I’m pretty positive Rick did this specifically knowing it would make her laugh cuz Carl is not that amused by it at all. 😂

Michonne again sounds like such a mom when she tells Carl it’s time to change his bandage and she needs toothpaste. I know Rick and Michonne have to be picking up on how much they so naturally feel like a perfect little four-person family right now. Like they were giving mom and dad and they were giving husband and wife...

And I love that there's always this refreshed good mood when Rick and Michonne get to just live everyday life together with their kids. 🥰

When Carl says he’s also out of toothpaste, Michonne looks over at Rick and shakes her head as they both smile, and you know Rick knew right then and there that he’s gonna find a way to get her that toothpaste today, no matter what.

And then y’all, it’s Michonne’s turn to have an extremely telling reaction because she then quietly watches as Rick picks Judith up. Again, this quiet lingering look was not a platonic look from our girl Michonne. And whatever she was thinking about Rick at this moment...

I was probably thinking it too. 🤭 It’s sweet seeing Michonne just quietly take this moment in, knowing that she loves and respects this man, as a father, as a fighter, and as the love of her life.

It’s also heartwarming hearing Rick be so sweet with Judith and say, "come on, sweetheart." Girl Dad Rick is always great to see for us and Michonne - because Michonne’s smile observing this is just precious. That’s a good man and she knows it. And a hot man and she knows that too. 😊

It's great how Michonne doesn’t just sound like a mom in this scene, she also is such a wife, especially when she tells Rick to "be good out there." And Rick feels like such a husband saying, "yeah we’ll see."

And then you know I gotta take a moment to celebrate my favorite part of this scene - that low-five. 🙌🏽

It's so good, and I credit that low-five as the flashing light that fully let me know these two had a chemistry that was bound to turn romantic. Looking back, it's genuinely crazy it took me until their canon ep to open my eyes and know for certain that what I'd been watching all along between Rick and Michonne was a love story but hey...

And ever since that low five, I have learned from my mistake and fully boarded this ship without ever looking back.

I love that true to their magnetic ways, Rick extends his hand to her, and, y’all, somehow they manage to make a freaking low-five feel romantic and so much more than just casual.

This is how you know your ship is in (no pun intended) capable hands. Because the actors knew that the next time Rick and Michonne see each other in this ep they're going to go all the way, and so this scene in the opening minutes had to really tell you their current headspace and that they were right on the brink of expressing this long-time love more physically. And of course, Andy and Danai were able to communicate that in something as simple as a low-five. Best in the biz, I'm just saying. 👏🏽💯

This touch between them is important too because their previous few and far between touches had always been one touching the other - but in this moment it was both of them engaging, hinting how they’re both finally ready to express their love a different way.

And I love that as Rick so often does he accompanies the low-five with a thank you. Always so grateful for her. 😊 He can go out on these runs and trust that his kids are okay because they’re with their mom.

It just felt like such a married sendoff as he thanks her before going out for the day and she casually lets him know her favorite type of toothpaste. I love the way she tells him which toothpaste she likes best and that they're able to live a stable enough life for them to even have preferences now.

Rick says, "soon as I get it, you will" and, chile, he means that. 😋 I love that quick line and that he says this sounding like a husband yet again. He knows it’ll be a priority to get this toothpaste not just for the community but for her specifically because what Michonne wants, whether big or small, always matters to him.

And the line also just feels like a fitting sentiment to their relationship. As soon as he gets that this romance can be acted on, she will. So it’s a great line to land on in their final pre-canon moment together.

(and y'all can we just take a moment to observe the way they are looking at each other during this low-five...like the heat coming off of them is really something. it makes sense later that night would finally be 'the night' because i don't think they could resist for one more day lol ❤️‍🔥)

I also never noticed that the scene ends with Rick playfully tossing the ball at her. Can they get any cuter? 😭 What Rick and Michonne bring out of each other is just the best and I adore this bright and happy scene for showing this great and lived-in layer to them and their relationship.

Whether you’d been anticipating Richonne for seasons or were new to the ship, this scene made sure there was no denying that Rick and Michonne are family and not just as parents but truly as gorgeous and natural spouses. Married before they knew they were married, y’all, and this moment made it clear. 

So I really appreciate this morning scene for showing that Rick and Michonne have built a life together not just as 'team family,' not just as co-leaders, but as a mom and dad and very very soon as an officially consummated husband and wife. And y'all...

We'll get there. 😉 But for now, staying focused on this absolutely delightful 14th moment on my list - I think about how Rick and Michonne always got to see the more normal and human side of each other ever since season 3. And in this 6.10 scene, you see them both not only witness that everyday side but really be attracted to that side too, in a way they can no longer hide.

So yeah, toothpaste and toothbrushes stayed giving us some great Richonne content. This 6.10 opener showed that the Richonne ship had been set sail - now it was just time to release the 'canon.' 🤗🪥

PSA - Re: Austin's Relationships (Past & Present)

Hey everyone, while it's fun to speculate about Austin's relationships (past and present), I think it's important to keep in mind that we really don't know everything that went on in his relationship w/Vanessa. The only people who truly know that are Austin and Vanessa. All we know is what we saw with our own eyes. Everything else is just rumors, hearsay, and gossip.

Same with Austin and Kaia. As much as we speculate about their relationship, the reality is, we really don't know what their relationship is really like. All we can go by is what we see. Everything else is just gossip, speculation, hearsay, etc.

Until Austin himself talks deeply about his past relationships and his experiences, all we can go on is what we see in photos and videos, and what Austin himself has said. 😊

We can make guesses and inferences, but at the end of the day, the truth is, we really don't know these relationships and how good or bad they were (or are). So, while it might be fun for us to speculate, it's still good to keep in mind that we really don't know what goes on in people's relationships... let alone, people we don't even know personally.

I personally feel like some fans behave like they know all about Austin's relationships, or why he and Vanessa broke up, etc., and the truth is, we don't know shit. And until Austin or Vanessa write a tell-all book, or give a heartfelt interview about their relationships, we don't know the full story.

Chapter 02: The buzz begins

Charlotte Winslow leaned back in her office chair, scrolling through her notes for her next interviews. Since she’d switched to covering football, she’d been swamped with messages, press requests, and fan theories that she found both amusing and, at times, a little exhausting and over the top.

It seemed that everyone wanted to know which player she’d interview first, and the fan favorite was already becoming clear: Chelsea’s Mason Mount.

She’d caught glimpses of him in photos and videos during her research—a midfielder with a sharp grin, quick on his feet, and with a bit of charm that seemed to radiate through the screen.

But she’d been in journalism long enough to know better than to be swayed by anyone’s public persona. Still, even she couldn’t deny there was something intriguing about him.

Her phone buzzed, snapping her out of her thoughts. A message from her editor:

Lisa 😊: Just a heads-up—people are already talking about a possible Mount-Winslow interview. Keep it on your radar girly!😘

Charlie chuckled, tossing her phone onto her desk. “They really are impatient, aren’t they?” she muttered to herself. She liked the idea of keeping things mysterious. No need to rush into anything.

Meanwhile, across town, Mason Mount was getting his fair share of teasing from his Chelsea teammates. During training, Ben Chilwell nudged him with a grin as they took a break by the sidelines.

“So, Mounty,” Ben began, barely able to hide his smirk, “when’s your big date with Charlie Winslow?”

Mason rolled his eyes. “It’s not a date. And it’s not even happening yet.”

“Oh, yet? So you’re saying you’re open to it?” Ben shot back, and a few other teammates nearby chuckled, leaning in to join the fun.

Reece James joined in, grinning. “She’s way out of your league, mate. From what I’ve seen, she’s got half the Premier League hanging on her very feet.”

Mason shrugged, pretending to be unfazed. “Maybe, but she’s still just a journalist. No need to get all worked up about it.”

“Oh, just a journalist, huh?” Conor Gallagher chimed in, laughing. “That’s why you’re the first one to check your phone every time she posts?”

“I don’t even follow her,” Mason replied, trying to sound nonchalant. In truth, he’d considered it—just to satisfy his own curiosity, of course—but he’d decided against it. He wasn’t about to give his teammates any more ammunition for their teasing.

Ben rolled his eyes. “Yeah, sure, mate. Just wait till you have to sit across from her, and we’ll see how cool you stay then. From what I’ve heard, she’s sharp. She’ll probably have you confessing all your secrets before you even realize what’s happening.”

Mason smirked, crossing his arms. “You lot think you’re so funny. You know, maybe I’ll be the one getting her to open up.”

That earned him a round of laughs. “Keep dreaming, Mounty,” Reece said, patting him on the shoulder. “I don’t think she’s the type to fall for your cheesy lines.”

“Or your terrible haircut,” Conor added with a grin, dodging the playful shove Mason sent his way.

Later that evening, Mason was back at home, scrolling absentmindedly through his phone. He noticed a post of Charlie’s on his explore page—a clip of her interviewing another Premier League player, Jamie Vardy from Leicester, her smile poised and her eyes sharp, as if she could see right through the forwarder she was talking to.

He could practically feel her confidence and quick wit through the screen. It didn’t surprise him that everyone was talking about her.

Meanwhile, Charlie sat in her apartment, her own thoughts drifting toward the buzz that had built up around a possible interview with Mason. She’d heard enough from her editor and her social media notifications to know that people were eagerly waiting for her to meet the Chelsea star. Fans were tagging her, speculating about “the chemistry” they might have. She couldn’t help but smile at how invested people were in a story that hadn’t even started.

Her phone lit up with a new follower notification—Ben Chilwell. She chuckled, not missing the fact that he was one of Mason’s closest friends. Interesting, she thought, wondering if the Chelsea squad was just as eager to see what she’d be like in person. She didn’t follow him back, but the notification was enough to remind her that she had the football world’s attention.

Mason’s name popped up in her mind again, and her fingers hovered over the button to follow him. But after a moment’s hesitation, she pulled her hand back. Letting them wonder a little longer wouldn’t hurt.

Across town, Mason finally caved and clicked on her profile, scrolling through a few of her recent posts. He noticed that a lot of people he follows follow Charlie. There was something undeniably intriguing about her. Maybe it was the way she balanced charm with a bit of mystery. He could see why the press and fans were so captivated, and despite himself, he was starting to feel the same.

Their paths hadn’t crossed yet, but with the tension building around them, both knew it was only a matter of time.

And i was thinking what if during one of his first non-full moon transformations, our dear River gets caught by the Dogs and all dat... The Park seeing this very untrained, very unsocialized, possibly dangerous puppy deciding to lock him up in one of those park's cell and putting a muzzle on him...

Then human River waking up a few dozens of hours later, exhausted, sweaty, (probably soaked in blood because 😊) with the muzzle still on him.

The humiliation he would feel to be nakey, vulnerable, and everything... The humiliation of having to ask(beg) for someone to come in and remove the muzzle..

Or whatever,,, sorry, this AU just makes me go crazy

Paw Patrol out roaming the streets of London, picking up a scent that’s not from one in their pack, and that being an issue,

River in a situation where he has had to turn, has been unable to resist it, maybe having busted out of any locks/handcuffs he tried to restrain himself with. Being dangerous, bc he’s out of control and can’t turn back, and might not have much rational thought. Genuinely posing a risk to people - wanting to hunt, wanting to kill, being dazzled by all the lights and noises and sounds and smells and getting overwhelmed and running for the nearest green space. (Causing a bit of a scene about a ‘lost dog’ on social media, or speculating about a wolf escaping from a zoo.)

Being able to calm down some, but still pretty feral, once he’s got grass under his feet, maybe picking up a scent, and selecting a hapless jogger as his evenings prey. The dog catchers having tracked him across the city, way outnumbering him and having training/resources- getting talked and having the wire loop of an animal handling pole tightened around his neck before he can pounce and kill someone, perhaps tranquillising him to get him in the back of a like… emergency animal control response unit van, collaring him, muzzling him, and taking him back to the Park to ride it out.

Waking up hours later in a cell, sweaty and exhausted (and yes, probably covered in blood, bc why neglect the opportunity,) muzzled and locked up - not knowing where he is, not seeing daylight, nor smelling anything natural. Being frightened and alone and not sure if he should call for help, bc whoever comes might be worse that being alone. Eventually breaking, calling for anyone, but not particularly happy to see Hobbs, or Duffy, or whoever it is - though they seem pretty happy to see him, at least - seeing him like this, trapped and captive and muzzled, where he belongs. Being marched down a hallway, naked, in sight of the others and enduring the (literal) wolf whistles and the weird sexualised bullying and harassment only kicking up a notch now. Maybe leading him to whoever it was whose blood he got covered in, holding his arms back and letting them take a claws-out swipe across his chest in retaliation.

Them not being able to keep him this time, bc Lamb’s there to collect his wayward stray (and, in a supernatural AU, Lamb being very clued in to it all, but no one having *any* idea about what he actually is, he’s evidently thoroughly mortal, but everyone thinks he knows too much to just be human, very fun to me,) gets someone to bring him some clothes, because this is meant to be a work place, for Christ’s sake.

But the dogs threatening that this won’t be River’s last time in their kennel - that he’ll be bought to heel soon enough, once old Cartwright’s out of the way, and daddy Lamb can’t always protect him.

(And then, how much more compelling the option of joining Frank’s pack is compared to being muzzled and broken by the Dogs.)

1. What’s the last screenshot you’ve taken for your story?

10. Is your story fully planned or are you still working things out? is there a definitive end?

Kind of, definitely, and yes.

More specifically, I have a number of specific details planned out. I always like to ramble about how it’s like scaffolding being built toward the sky. The higher you go the less the structure is there, and you can see all the cracks and still need to figure out how to actually get to the next solid point, which is where the inspiration and flexibility comes in. But overall, yes, I have the final scene of the story written. Imma need a whole ass team if I’m ever gunna get there at this rate though 😅

12. Do you actually play the game or do you just use it as a storytelling medium?

Specifically in the Darlington save? Probably like 20/80 at this point. I play between story shoots to kind of mimic the arcs, so it’s more me just imitating my own story in gameplay vs. actually playing the game and letting it influence my writing at all.

25. What inspirations have you drawn on for your story?

Goodness, gracious. Everything? If that’s a fair answer? 😅

Movies I love, books I read, history I’ve studied, songs that hit, fellow storytellers, tropes that make my brain itch, personal experiences, the color of the sky sometimes, a single word my husband says. Honestly? Fun times out here when you’ve got the Darlington brain rot.

To narrow it down I think that the 1890s/1900s were more inspired by my own aesthetics and decades challenges in general, and things got a little more personal around 1910 (which is why I usually tell people that’s when I start to really like the story). Those years were heavily inspired by Downton Abbey and Titanic (of course). And as broad stroke inspiration, I’m sure y’all know I’m fond of the “it glitters so brightly you don’t even see the tragedy until it’s too late” vibes that Titanic has (cue my other favorite films Cabaret and Moulin Rouge).

The 20s are inspired by New Orleans, I cannot state it enough. By everything I felt in my years there and everything I learned during my MA. More specifically, it was heavily drawn from Mister Jelly Roll and Empire of Sin. We also have some Gatsby in there, of course 😉

Now in the 30s I’m really having a blast, because I feel like I’m pulling inspiration for all the previous decades (Gatsby references coming when?) as well as hinting toward future ones (a certain littlest heiress and her obsession with the Wizard of Oz comes to mind). Combined with that is so much rich inspiration for this decade itself, coming heavily from Route 66: A Cultural History and The Grapes of Wrath specifically , as well as broader ideas of Americana, country and blues music, and the symbolism/beauty of the desert.

This decade has also really made me realize just how much inspiration I draw from place, and how it not only influences my style of descriptive writing (which in and of itself is inspired by Anne Rice), but also makes me so interested in how a location and its history influences people and the path of the story. I feel like it grounds me not just in a time period, but how that time period may have been different in specific locations and how different characters react to those factors.

I also realize am responding to this like 2 months late :') I thought for a long time on which fic to comment on, and now that I've posted Atypical Occurrence pt. 2, I thought I might as well write out my thoughts on it while they're still fresh and bc it's close to my heart (I hope that's okay hehe)

There’s a grocery store that’s a ten minute drive from Vincent’s apartment. 

I rewrote this scene... 3 or 4 times? It gave me sooo much trouble 😭 I think in the first draft Vincent actually tears up tasting Yves's cooking. (I know, Vincent, I want Yves to cook for me too 😭❗️)

Terrible (ugh 😭) first draft screenshot under the cut (screenshot = old draft, indented quote = current draft):

I wrote this ^, and I was like... this moment just feels unearned? I personally despise outlining + I love going in (mostly) blind. Sometimes the first draft works out of the box, and in this case, the first draft (and the second draft, and the third draft) were all soooo bad that I literally had to take a month-long break to regain my confidence 😭

Anyways! I knew right away that Y was going to cook something for V (it's mentioned here and there throughout the series that he is a really good cook 😭 And in part 3 of Fool Me Twice, Yves promises to make Vincent something more ambitious than hot chocolate. He's finally kept his promise now, 12 installments later 🙇‍♀️ )

From draft 2, there was only one scene which I was sure I was going to include in the final draft, aka, spared from the recycling bin. (But I just checked the final draft and it's nowhere to be seen?? Interesting.)

I would have managed fine on my own.

On this (deleted) scene, and more broadly: I think it's important to me that Yves recognizes that Vincent is self-sufficient in many ways: when Vincent says he will be fine alone, he is telling the truth. Yves doesn't have to stay—he recognizes this too, when he heads for the door in the published draft.

Still, Yves stays, of course—initially, because he insists, and later, because Vincent asks :)

“…You won’t leave unless I eat, then,” Vincent says. He says it evenly enough that it barely registers as a question. Yves smiles at him. It’s not a wrong conclusion. “Exactly,” he says.

It was really, really fun writing the differences between caretaker!Vincent (in Fool Me Twice pt. 5) and caretaker!Yves 😊 I usually don't like to say too much on the end of character analysis, bc I like my work to be interpreted as it is: the text is canon, and everything I'm saying here is just me yapping on about my headcanons. (I have been roasted for saying this by a dear friend of mine, probably rightfully so:)

With that disclaimer: Vincent to me (I can only speculate, etc) is a very no-bullshit caretaker (he likes to enforce whatever will lead most directly to the person's recovery; he actually worries a lot, but his worry often manifests as frustration/snappishness), whereas Yves is a lot more permissive and, for the most part, manages his stress—he is the eldest sibling, after all! I think he does what he can to make it a more tolerable experience :)

“So this is just a Yves thing.” “What? Showing consideration for my friends?”  “Showing consideration is one thing,” Vincent answers. “You could have left after dropping off the files. You would still have been showing your consideration.” “I guess that’s true. But at that point, I was already here,” Yves says, with a shrug. “It seemed logical to check up on you.” “Well, now you’ve checked up on me,” Vincent says. “So you can go.” Yves supposes this is true.

Vincent takes things very literally (and I think he's actually quite aware of the social niceties around these kinds of things, which is in part why he is so skeptical to assume that Yves means anything more.)

There’s a hand on his sleeve, tugging. Yves goes very still. When Vincent notices what he’s done, alarm flashes through his expression, and he pulls his hand away as if he’s burned.  “Sorry,” he murmurs, again. And just like that, he’s back to how he always is—his expression perfectly, carefully neutral, in a way that can only be constructed. “I’m sorry.” But Yves doesn’t forget what he’s seen. “You can go.”

This scene means a lot to me!! It took a loooot of editing to hammer into place (the doc I wrote it on is titled "fixing this scene would FIX ME" haha). I think this is the first time Vincent has actively sought out Yves's comfort 😭 And he regrets it almost as soon as he's said it, because he does not do things without a good justification, and wanting something—even wanting it badly—does not feel like a sufficient justification to him. But give Yves an inch and he will take a mile!! He will take a hundred miles!! That is just the kind of person that Yves is.

I was talking with some friends previously about how I wanted to write Vincent reaching out for Yves. How I wanted Vincent to, through the haze of fever, cross a line that he'd previously not allowed himself to cross :') I think it is a time-old trope to have someone, in their feverish delirium, utter something embarrassing and utterly uncharacteristic of them, or divulge something that has been difficult for them to say.

This whole time drafting, I was thinking, how can I set up a moment like that and have it feel earned? How badly would he have to be feeling? What kind of setup would justify getting past his 590859 mental defenses? (I do not like to outline, but sometimes I do have an emotional beat that I have in mind, and then I have to work backwards to figure out the setup. This took SO much working back from, and I really thought about it for very long). I was almost sure that Vincent would regret it immediately after too 😭

Yves opens his arms out in offering, tries on a smile. “I’ve been told I give good hugs. Good enough to cure all ailments, obviously.”

Ahh, so Y offering V a hug is inspired by a fic I read 6 years ago, where a character offers another a hug as a joke and then the other character surprises them by taking it. Yves is really offering here, but I think he recognizes that joking about it will make it easier for Vincent to accept 😭

Yves has hugged a fair share of people in his life. He doesn’t think he’d be able to list them all if he were asked to. It’s different, though, being so close to Vincent—so close that Yves can reach out and let his hair fall through his fingertips. He can lift up his palm and feel the rigid line of his spine, the slope of his shoulders; he could reach out and trace the dip of his wrist, the form of his hand. Vincent’s chin digs slightly into his left shoulder. His nose is turned slightly into Yves’s neck—like this, he is almost perfectly still. Yves can feel the warm brush of air against his neck whenever Vincent exhales. He is so close that Yves is afraid, for a moment, that he might hear how badly his heart is racing.

I have nothing to say about this paragraph except that I edited it for like 40 minutes straight.

Last thing!!

“We had a habit of keeping the heat off, in the winters, and closing the windows.”

The scene near the end (where Vincent tells Yves about his childhood) is actually the scene which came the most easily to me. I also did not write it last; I jumped around. It took me around 1.5 hours. (By comparison, simply editing the scene before it took 11 😵‍💫)

I did always intend for Vincent to disclose... well, /something/ about himself. (You can tell that when I plan, that's really as far as I plan LOL)

Anyways, when Vincent wakes Yves up (after Yves falls asleep at his desk), I initially wrote it so that Yves wakes Vincent from a nightmare.

But (as direct a link to vulnerability as that might have been,) Vincent would not talk about his nightmare 😭 So I switched gears.

I also specifically wanted to write about Vincent's experience being cared for growing up. I think something that's culturally resonant with me (as an Asian American, and the eldest daughter to immigrant parents) is like, the ways families can and cannot say I love you—the quiet things that are done in place of a more direct expression of it. The way that while unspoken consideration can speak volumes, it can just as easily be invisible. But even now, writing this post, I feel like it's difficult for me to untangle the feelings and experiences I've had into something that feels sufficiently multifaceted.

Vincent has a different childhood from I do (it is probably worth noting that I do not project onto any of my characters, nor do I use them as a vessel to get my own experiences across). I think I'm just drawn to writing tricky/non-straightforward expressions of love, in general :) Sometimes that is the kind of love that resonates with me most.

Tom's having a load of kids because of how close the Slytherin line was to being wiped out. He doesn't want that to happen, and as an Emperor, it's kind of expected for him to have so many kids, because it creates connections between him and important houses that can't be broken as easily 😊 In the past, Emperor's have had hundreds of children, and some wild speculations put Genghis Khan at 3000! (Very likely untrue, most speculate closer to 1000)

I personally don't write babies in my stories having dummies (pacifiers) because I've been raised by a very anti-dummy mum 😅 Also, as shown in canon, the wizarding world seems to be simultaneously behind and forward to the muggle world. Despite knowing about each other in my story, they are still relatively separate, as most wizard's have a superiority complex 🥴 So, magical children have magical baby toys and items, except perhaps from the muggleborn members of the Harem

oh GOD. talk about ancient history ... i first joined the tumblr rpc back in the early 2010s. in the GLEE fandom of all places (hi @theoriginalbadass icb we found each other again) so i'll preface this answer by saying a LOT of the "trends" i remember were heavily influenced by where on this hellsite i was. and if you can't tell by the tone of my disclaimer? most of them were BAD. but i'll try and be balanced here by giving one negative and one positive 😊

the GOOD: 👏 magic 👏 anons 👏 HELLO ??? i will never forgive the hate filled assholes who forced most people (myself included) to turn off the anon function on their blogs for their own safety because this was the one true JOY of the rpc. i remember having so much fucking fun being on BOTH sides of the equation when silly hours popped off - spamming my mutuals AND being spammed by them. it was deeply UNSERIOUS and led to all kinds of crack filled chaos and i just miss it a lot okay ???

15. What is the fanfic you’ve written that you’re most proud of? 

The Raven's Blade series. I am still amazed I managed to write it, and that it turned out so well, given I wrote it in about half a year.

20. What feedback makes you the happiest to hear?

There's two sides - the one is simply knowing that my writing made someone happy. That someone had a bright moment, or a good distraction due to one of my stories. That's the best an author can aspire to.

The most fun feedback is someone speculating, or spotting some detail that I built in but didn't explain, or that serves just as a background hint. It's something that happens rarely, few people read analyitically.

23. How much do you stick to canon? 

Now that's a complicated one, truly, because it is a total balance with me. On the one hand, most of my stories take a "What if..." Question and roll from there, exploring the snowball effect of the events, and hence totally disregarding or changing the canon line of events as they transpire. On the other hand I try to keep the lore of the world intact, be it geography, world basics and so forth. It is a weird balance, as I tend to write stories, that will upend the line of events set forth by canon, because one thing changed, causing another change... and suddenly the world wasn't quite the same, which runs counterintuitive to keeping the world lore intact. So I usually approach it like this: it is the world that we know and love, with it's basics firmly in place, but the story that happened wasn't quite the one we read before.

I have to admit, that I also see canon als already done by the author. That's the story, the author wrote, and he wrote the master version of it, no need to re-do that version by a lesser writer. Hence I always try to tell a different story, often my stories are a kind of dialogue with canon.

34. Have you felt emotional while writing a scene before? What scene was it?

More than one, honestly. The most straining was Chapter 10: The Price of the Ring in A distant Light (Part I Raven's Blade). Kíli's confrontation with Boromir, their fight and Kíli having to delve deep into his own trauma, into having seen someone taken by evil before, to reach Boromir, to convince him to let it go, was very emotional, and the same in The Heart of the Journey (Part 4 Raven's Blade) in the chapter of the same name, when this whole topic comes fully round.

As far as my Witcher writings go, "In the darkest places" and the Epilogue of "In my father's house". If I am crying while writing, I usually know that it'll get my readers.

I think there’s a reoccurring thing where as bylers we run with a concept based on vague inferences/information (finn, noah, and jamie will be at the church! churchgate is real! byler is endgame!) and then get let down by new updates that add new information to complicate things. and that causes doubt. I think things would go a lot smoother if we recognized we know nothing about what is happening on that farm or that church or that whatever haha

Oh yes, we have so many gates and theories. It's almost too hard to keep track of. I've been kicking around the fandom observing since season 4 dropped and I'm still learning things (I still don't know where the static kiss-gate thing came from despite hearing lore for years for example). The entire Byler fandom is one big messy game of telephone. We're all listening and repeating but by the time things become common and cemented in the fandom, the context has strayed and claws have sunk in, hard to deviate differently. I think people should keep a flexible, open mind. It's why while I love to theorize, It's hard for me to commit to any one firm theory or idea. Because we're missing so many pieces of so many various puzzles.

So much "information" is just rumor with nothing but a tweet to back it up. Ok someone said Noah, Finn, and Jamie were to be on that church set this week. What... is the proof? That they were seen in ATL? That's such a funny bit of proof to me since the whole show is in ATL. They're all coming and going and it can be for anything, not just needed on set. It's fun though to speculate and theorize! Careful with expectations and disappointments though. We're wading mostly blind. No need to stress with constant we're back/it's so over. Analyze the show. Stick to our love of the pair and try to keep speculation light and malleable. Funner that way. 😊

Idk if this has been pointed out, but I just saw Dua post a photo dump of her vacation on the British countryside, it has Callum and his dog featured, that relationship looks so much healthier than what A/K have. And nobody can tell me they are more famous that's why they need to hide basically, cause they are just not, no offence. When have we ever seen Austin spend time with his family and friends with her around? They are only seen when money is somehow involved which makes it seem more like business than a relationship. Poor guy got himself in this situation, where someone's overprivileged daughter can have so much influence on his image cause of who her family knows. When he finally leaves her will be a day for celebration. Cause rn he is just being used, I don't doubt he gets paid somehow but materialistic things can't replace love.

Looook -- Say what you will about Callum and Dua, but those two actually look genuinely in love, and like they're having the time of their lives with each other😁🥰❤️

You know who else used to look lovey-dovey like this together? Austin and Vanessa 👀 -- you know, people in a real relationship with each other. 🤭

Idk what "situationship" Austin and Kaia are in with each other, but it certainly doesn't look fulfilling, or even simply fun. 🥴

I won't make speculations on whether Austin is getting paid to date Kaia or not (that seems a bit of a stretch to me 🤔) -- All I'll say is that neither of them look as happy as they should be in a romantic relationship, and something about it seems devoid of love, warmth, or even genuine friendship to me. It seems a bit contrived. That's just the vibe that I get from them.

And it has nothing to do with them being super famous and private either, because Tom and Zendaya are way more famous than Austin and Kaia, and are notoriously private about their relationship, yet you can still sense the deep genuine love and friendship that Tom and Zendaya have for each other. 😊
