Thomas sauntering in midday, drunk, while his family is having lunch. He grabs the entire bowl of pickles (???) and a whole jug of wine. And then immediately starts pouting cause his allowance has been stopped.

I like to think that they saw each other around town, that they knew of one another because Nell called her Ms. Sofia rather than Lady Sofia, which means she knew of her before she was married, which likely happened after Nell left if she called her Ms. And not Lady

I also think that Sofia and Thomas actually played around town before he got sent away

The fact that Sofia tells her father that the Trotter girls are here to see him, instead of a servant, makes me wonder if she greeted them when they first arrived. I just want to know how many little interactions those two families had over the years before the events of the show.

He’s so ferret coded

Charles is so funny cause in episode one right off the bat he's introduced as this classic highwayman persona, all flirty and rough, immediately gets his ass handed to him by Nell, and then he's just all sweet and soft and a bit mischievous for the rest of the show, to the point I was surprised to see him fight and knock out a guard in the last episode.

guys how did i seriously not realize Jackson was a soldier and not a pirate. but also, like, why do we think he's abusive then? Like I understand, boo wealthy ex's, but if she was his domestic wife she wouldn't exactly be on the ship with him 24/7...she'd be at the house. doing stereotypical wife things, unless they actually loved each other in which they'd work as a team...right? on the ship? i'm honestly not all that active in the Merlin fandom anymore, but I still adore the show. That being said I think it's absolutely spectacular that like Merlin does in the end, this fandom seems to live for eternity because it keeps reminding me how much I adore those little boys
