Then college came and it got worse. You met a lot of new people and Niall was overly protective and that’s when you started to realize, everyone was right. 

It hurt. He wouldn’t allow to you do the things you wanted to do or go to parties you wanted to go to. He held you back from a lot of the college fun that you could’ve had and you were sick of it. You dated for about 4 years before you had to draw the line. It hurt so bad but you knew you deserved better than what you were getting.

Tears fell from both of your eyes as you sat next to each other on his dorm bed.

There was an awkward couple seconds of silence before you spoke up, just ready to end the conversation and leave, "I just can't do it anymore." you lowered your voice, "'s too much. I need t' focus on school and my family and myself."

Niall had been trying to get you to go on a date with him for quite some time now, but you never budged. He claimed to have changed but you didn't want to get hurt again. "It's been like 4 years." you were puzzled; you didn't know why he was still hooked on you. 

“I know, I know, but we’re good friends again and I just wanna see where we can go.” 

"Niall, we're at a good place right now. Why do ya wanna ruin that." you asked.

He hesitated to say the next words, but eventually murmured, "'cause 'm still in love wit' ya." 

You didn't know what to say. The next few silent seconds that passed felt like seven years. You licked your dry lips, picked at your nail polish, cracked your knuckles, everything trying to settle your nerves.

You giggled and rolled your eyes playfully, looking down and picking at your nail polish nervously. Immediately, you regretted giving in. You didn't know how to feel. Are you excited? Are you scared? You loved him. You still love him. That love for him will never go away, it was just a different kind of love now. But you didn't want to end up getting hurt again and you were afraid that might happen.

"Wednesday?" he asked with a bright smile. 

"Sure." you answered with a soft smile on your pink lips. 

"6 o'clock sound good?"

"You've got dis all planned out, dontcha?" you teased. 

"Yeah," he nodded, an adorable smile on his lips. 

"Yes, 6 is good." you answered.

The night had come. You got all dolled up, curled your long hair, done a full face of makeup, had on a black mini dress and planned to wear matching heels. The butterflies started to erupt in your stomach when you got a text from Niall saying he was ten minutes away. After taking one last look at yourself in the mirror, you walked downstairs and began gathering your things in your grey purse.

A small smile erupting on your face, you giddily walked over to the door, unlocking it and opening it to reveal Niall's beautiful, smiley face. His hair was perfectly done, a white, button-up shirt fitting perfectly on his chest, the first couple buttons unbuttoned to show off his fluffy chest hair, black khakis and dress shoes adorning his lower body. Your heels clicked against the hardwood floor as you walked into the living room again. You said your goodbyes to the girls before exiting the house. Niall leads you to his black range rover and opened the passenger door for you. Your heart swelled as your lips curled into a smile. You thanked him as you got in the car. He smiled back and shut the door behind you before hopping into the driver's seat. After backing out of your driveway, you all were finally on the road. You were both silent; the only noise filling the car was the soft sound of the radio playing. "Ya gonna tell me where we're goin' now?" you grinned at him.

"Nope." he replied, popping the p, "But I know yer gonna like it." 

"Ya act like you've known me fer years," you teased.

You carried on with small talk, catching up on everything that's happened to each other over the past couple of years. The drive wasn't very far from your place, only about 15 minutes. As you both got out of the car, you headed inside and walked up to the counter.

"Hi, how many?" The nice lady asked. 

"Hi, we have reservations fer two." Niall replied. 

"Okay, under what name?" 

"Niall." 

Typing on her keypad, she hummed, "Okay, I gotcha checked in. We'll let ya know when yer table's ready." 

"Thank ya." Niall smiled before you both sat at the waiting booth.

Not even 10 minutes later, his name was called and you were headed towards your table. As you sat down at a booth across from each other, the lady placed menus in front of you, smiling, "Yer waiter will be with you shortly." you hummed a 'thank you' to her before she walked off. 

The rest of the night went smoothly, dinner was delicious, you and Niall caught up with each other, everything was perfect. He even paid for your expensive meal. At the end of the night, you both left the restaurant with full tummies. You both got into his car and buckled up, preparing to go home.

"Wanna go back t' me place. None o' da boys should be home." he asked. You giggled girlishly, "Sure."

Scrambled Thoughts

hey how does bein’, like. exited about a thing, but coherently, work? ‘cos like. P5S was announced, and it’s not what some people necessarily wanted or expected, but. I think it’ll be good? in ways those same disappointed folks might enjoy, but aren’t necessarily considering? man where do I even start with this

so way back in the day, when the Wii U was still relevant, Koei Tecmo came out with Hyrule Warriors basically outta nowhere. now, I never played any warriors games and I think my first zelda was Twilight Princess? Skyward Sword? spent plenty of time watching my brother play them titles and consider majora’s mask one of the greatest games of all time, but I ain’t never touched ‘em, and because I already experienced them vicariously, ain’t ever likely to. but I was big on diablo, on that experience of mowing down hordes of enemies with a big overpowered hero, so I was like, yeah, sure I’ll keep an eye out

(maybe  I was able to latch onto Hyrule Warriors because I was more invested in the characters and story than the gameplay? I don’t know how zelda fans recieved it; I wasn’t as deep in The ‘Net as I am now. doesn’t matter.)

turns out just about everything in that game is great. the long-term gameplay isn’t anything to write home about; it’s all level grinding and weapons farming, but like it’s not necessarily a game for that. it’s a buncha dumb fun! hit things with big flashy attacks! watch actual dozens of bodies ragdoll off into the distance! play as your favorite heroes and and villains and then also some npcs we added for the hell of it!

That, see, is what I remember about Hyrule Warriors. the whole draw of the game, what I love about it, is the warriors and their weapons and their fighting style and fighting with style. like, each character can have multiple weapons, and each weapon is its own moveset-- relatively simple, but still pretty involved, and built around slaughtering a buncha dudes really flashily. and it just-- they went through like every zelda game, and went like, who’s important and how do they fight, and then they made them ALL fun to play as

there are forty two fighting styles to choose from and none of them are bad

actually no that’s a lie; the dominion rod, the summon gates, and agitha’s parasols are bad. maybe also the great fairy and sometimes the wind waker? and I never unlocked all the toon-era weaponry, but it doesn’t matter because there are like thirty-five other ways to play That Are All Fun

that’s the first thing. the second thing, which you may have noticed from the list of weapons I don’t much care for, is that some of these weapons get way dumb. like agitha’s parasols. you remember agitha, right? from twilight princess? the incidental, out-of-the-way npc with the completely optional sidequest to find extremely rare bugs? the character that hangs out at home all day and does not interact with any character outside of link? yeah lets make her a playable character in a game where you literally beat up entire armies, she can hit people with a shitty umbrella and also summon bugs, like a giant beetle to crush people with or a giant butterfly to ride on and dive-bomb, that makes sense lol

and the thing is! I think that’s great! it’s legitimately hilarious! and she’s viable!!! I don’t like her fighting style; she’s short range with long recovery times and her special mode relies on getting enemies airborne to actually hit anything with-- but she’s not unusable, her inclusion is a joke but she’s not a joke character, y’know?

and then they went ahead and did that with like every character and every weapon in the zelda series. like Impa, you know Impa, right? protector of the royal line, shows up in Ocarina of Time to teach you a lullaby, never actually displays any combat skills on screen? let’s give her one-a them slab-of-metal ultragreatswords, that seems reasonable. sheik plays a harp and is mysterious, let’s turn them into a ninja with kunai and shit and also a magic harp which does magic based on the songs from OoT that they teach you. how ‘bout Fi, the ghost inside the master sword that exists primarily to interrupt you with unskippable dialogue? well, she can turn into a sword, sure, but her main form of attack is interpretative dance, you know, like she does when you beat a temple. or the king of hyrule, who is a boat! very aggressively. hey why don’t we turn volvagia into a dude with a spear who can just turn back into a dragon while we’re at it

and that’s not even touching link, who has:

sword (obvious)

horse (obvious)

fire rod (flamethrower, giant laser, and most powerfully, axe)

great fairy (carries link in a bottle)

spinner (niche late-game mobility tool from Twilight Princess; 3rd best weapon in Warriors)

and gauntlets (support item that lets you carry heavy things throughout the series; 2nd best weapon in Warriors)

(the best weapon is ganon’s dual greatswords, but that’s aside the point)

and as though that wasn’t enough, they invented Link But A Girl so they could include the iron boots, which makes sense, and, fuckin’, dual crossbows.

you know, crossbows? link’s iconic weapon? that he uses exactly once?? in the game link’s crossbow training??? a throwaway motion-control-centric game for the wii???????

now. everyone is different. so I feel the need to clarify.

all of that? that’s praise. that’s adoration. this game is a love-letter to the zelda series, all of the zelda series, no matter how ridiculous, because it’s ridiculous. I love that, I aspire to that! to that dedication, that passion for a thing, the ability to take a joke and make it real, to make you forget it’s a joke because of how good it is. like when they announced pirahna plant for smash brothers, and then made him good? that emotion, informing the design of an entire game. let me stick this flail in the ground, and then use it to swing the entire earth around to hit you with, and then also, incidentally, because Link’s Awakening existed, because we can, the flail is a chain chomp!!

There had been countless days spent in this coffee shop, so many of them blended together. There were so few difference from one to another, it was nearly impossible to tell one apart. Yet, never in Brent's time here has a day stretched on so long, he feared it may never end.

Brent stepped back behind the counter, just returning from a delivery, his only saving grace today. He glanced around, only seeing Dylan and Bree working the beverage station to fill another large order.

Good, he thought. Brent would just run the counter for a while, only a few more hours and they closed and the Baristas were free to return to the Apartments or in Brent's case, hiding at Mission Groove Park.

"Brent." The voice behind him made him nearly jump out of his skin.

Brent spun around, panicked to be faced with Kyle. He hadn't been able to stay in the older Barista's presence for more then a few minutes all down. He just wasn't ready to be around Kyle after coming to terms how he had felt.

"I! I have to go!" Brent blurted before Kyle could speak. He took off, snatching Dylan's delivery order and rushing right back out to Night Vale.

"Hey!" Dylan called out, falling on deaf ears as Brent went out the door. "What is with him today?"

"I dunno, he's been acting off all day." Bree said, leaning against the counter.

"He could have just asked." Dylan huffed, starting to clean up his station before Hunter came over to give him grief over the few loose grounds.

"Do you know what's up with Brent?" Bree asked Kyle, who still standing stunned.

"Uh.." Kyle cleared his threat to get a bit of composure back. "I'm not certain.." He said, not sharing his theories with them.

"Here's another order for delivery." Tris said as they came up to the counter, handing Bree a piece of paper with the order written up.

"Thanks a latte~!" Bree said, ignoring the groans from her fellow Baristas as she started resenting the beverage station.

"Perhaps you could find a new pun for that, Bree." Tris said, raising a brow at her.

Tris stiffened as the three of them stared confused at them. Tris had never commented on such things before, it had nothing to do with coffee orders, so far out of character for a 1st Level. They realized their mistake, taking a step back from the counter.

"Excuse me? Could I get a coffee refill?" A customer beckoned from the sit down cafe area.

Tris thanked the Void, grabbing a near by pot off the warmer and headed off to refresh a few cups of coffee. They had to be more careful or come out and tell the rest of the Baristas about them ascending to 2nd Level.

Being level was nothing to hide or be ashamed of, Tris didn't even know what it was to be ashamed. Something was just holding them back from telling anyone and they couldn't figure it out. They supposed it might have something to do with it being triggered by the spark of fear. Having that be the first thing they were ever truly aware of was a terrible experience.

"Tris?" Hunter asked beside them.

Tris blinked, coming back to focus only to realize they had been pouring coffee into a fake potted plant they had by one of the tables.

"Oh no..." Tris grumbled.

"They didn't see." Hunter said with a slight tilt of his head. "They are preparing an order. Why are you pouring coffee in the fake plant?" His nose scrunched, it was such a waste of perfectly good coffee.

"I...was distracted." Tris said, handing the pot to Hunter. "I'll clean it up." They said, taking a clean rag that was hanging off the straps tied around Hunters waist.

"Okay." Hunter said, thinking literally nothing of it. "I'll take over the floor."

"Thank you." Tris said as they lifted the pot and wiped up the coffee that leaked out the bottom.

"You're welcome." Hunter replied automatically as he went to refill cups and take any additional orders.

"Do you think something weird is up with Tris?" Bree asked, glancing over at the Baristas on the floor before handing Dylan the take away carafe for their order.

"I think everyone here acts weird." Dylan replied as he started to fill the carafe. "Kyle has been acting off for days. This whole new Manager thing has been really messing with him."

"You don't think the Manager is doing anything to him do you?" Bree asked.

"I don't think so. Probably just threatening or something. We are lucky nothing bad happened after the last one." Dylan said, finishing filling the containers. "Where's this one going?"

Bree picked up the paper again.

"The radio station." Bree said, shaking her head. "Those interns still don't want to leave there, the District is the safest place."

"I'll take it!" Dylan blurted, a bit of embarrassed steam escaping him.

"You just want to see Cecil." Bree teased.

"What?" Dylan sputtered, despite its truths.

"So he just decided you were his son? That's so brew-tiful~!" Bree laughed at Dylan's disgusted face at her pun. "You and Brent get dads, that's so sweet."

"Yea, well...I like it..." Dylan mumbled. "He's really nice to me. It's like...I matter outside of this place." Dylan shrugged, unsure how to explain it.

"Go on then, I won't keep you." Bree said, smiling widely. "Tell your dad I said his show is Koloa tea~"

Dylan rolled his eyes, picking up the carafes and heading out the door so he didn't have to suffer her puns anymore. The rare moments that he missed the blissful ignorance of being a 1st Level.

"Dylan out on the delivery?" Kyle asked, having come back from restocking some of the last of the baked goods for the night.

"Yep, out to the radio station." Bree said, side eyeing the older Barista. "So what's up with you and Brent? You two have been weird since that party with the funny eggnog."

Kyle instantly released a bout of embarrassed steam, his face changing shades as he looked at her.

"I! Look! He! It's Dylan's fault for-I mean! It's complicated okay?" Kyle sputtered, tripping over his words. He sighed as she gave him an amused look as he was floundering. "Bree, look it's just...something I'm figuring out, it's nothing for you to worry about."

"Yea, sure, cause that was all so coherent just now." Bree rolled her eyes. "Just make it less complicated, cause it sure isn't subtle." She said, walking over to the order counter to greet a customer.

Omg I'm so mad, there's barely any any Akira x Ann stuff on Tumblr without it being spoilery stuff :/ She's The LOVERS therefore THE BEST love interest (and canon 2 me *cough* like my girls Yukari & Rise). But I'm bummed out that my friend annoyingly spoiled me with some stupid shit telling me that people are saying Makato might be a "canon" choice in the manga UGH yuck. I've been so mad ever since (think I need to scold him about it :/)

I don’t want Ann to get the shitty Yukari treatment where Aegis kept stealing/hogging MC from her (both canon & fandom wise & shit I’m still mad bout). Makoto just doesn’t fit the romantic aesthetic like Ann does & doesn’t look good with the MC, Ann is just a literal perfect lovely match for MC. Makoto is just way 2 butch & I see her being a better brotp motherly/sisterly role 2 MC (she is Priestess afterall! :/ I wish brotp Makoto MC was the more popular choice in the fandom!)

While I agree it’s a shame with Anne (considering she’s the least forced Lovers Arcana person). But uhhh…Makoto hasn’t even shown up in the manga….her sister has….but not Makoto. :/ So I dunno where that’s coming from….(I do feel that his look at Anne feels a bit more played down, to just “oh wow there really are beautiful people out there” as opposed to being lost for words). But like…..the whole “Makoto is canon in the manga” has no ground, I mean it might happened, but then again Haru might end up being the canon love interest for the manga. 8U Right now it’s too early to tell.

As for Yukari and Rise, I’m really sorry anon, and I really mean no offense, but you’re coming to the wrong person. ;w; I’m more of an AigisxMC shipper myself (only P3 ship that I love probably more than it is FeMCxMaleMC, assuming they aren’t twins of course 8U) and NaotoxMC is my OTP for P4. If anything I loath Yukari (character and romance, anything and everything) with my entire being, and I am also not a fan of Rise constantly hanging on you esp if you’re dating someone by that time (don’t get me wrong, I do like Rise as a character tho, esp in spinoffs, but also because of the spinoffs I can see Rise/Yu not working out cause….Yu… so dense), not cool Atlus. When it comes to shipping Rise or Yukari, I don’t really ship Yukari with anyone (ok maybe crack ship with Akihiko for reasons you guys don’t know), but I ship Rise with either Kanji or Teddie. I think the difference between Yukari/Rise and Anne is that Anne builds friendship and trust from the get go (I mean there’s a reason Anne is a bro), while Yukari/Rise are more “Just love at first sight with MC.” But yeah, sorry anon, we don’t have the same view point here. ;w;

I agree I don’t see Makoto as being a good fit for the MC (even aesthetically), but that’s just me. Some people do like it and see it that way. I can understand why (even if I don’t see it with that specific paring myself). I do wonder if the same people who ship MakotoxP5MC are the same people who ship P3FeMCxP5MC, or if they’re like me and ship FeMCxP5MC but not MakotoxP5MC cause they think she’s visually a “knockoff” of the FeMC (no I’m really curious, do people ship both, or one because they don’t like the other or just only like the one???) But I should note her butchness is not what I don’t like about her with the MC (I think girls should be as butch/tom boy as they want and if they want to be with guys, more power to them! Help With Residency and Car Insurance?

If my mom lives in Arizona and I live in New York and my car is in her name and so is the insurance and I am just a driver on the car then if i change my residency to New york and she stays in arizona will it be an issue? I have my car with me in new york (going to school) but the insurance doesn't know that. Can i change my residency to new york withouth having to change the car insurance if it's under her name and i'm just a driver? anyone explain please because im paying out the butt for tuition because i'm 'out of state' even though im not just because my mom doesnt want to mess with the insurance

Just because they presume that since your a lad/guy your very likely to crash. And girls won't? Its not the Victorian era there's a lot of young women that are into cars & are racers. There just as likely to crash imo. It shouldn't be stereotypical that boys will wreck there car. Yes I love cars but I would never take risks in my first few years. It suck that I cant get an affordable insurance quote for my mothers 1.2 VW Polo. Yet a female friend of mine of the same age (18) can get covered on a 1.6 mini cooper for 1700. Thats not even her first car! When she was 17 she was driving a mercedes kompressor! I cant even get a quote below 2500 & I live in outside of Edinburgh City near the country side :( Plus theres insuramce companies out there that exist just for woman (Shielas wheels etc) that offer cgeap quotes to women! Its discrimination in my opinion.

They have a $5000 deductible but the policy reads like this: Hospital room/board has CoInsurance of 100% with Maximum up to $1000 per day. What is Coinsurance?
