expanding on yuki’s idea⎯i think suguru hated jujutsu sorcerers more than the weak, but he struggled to differentiate these feelings all the way till that fight with yuuta and rika. it’s almost like the non sorcerers became a scapegoat for him⎯what nanako and mimiko went through was horrific, yes, and the non sorcerers were responsible but how many similar cases did jujutsu society and its elitist trifecta ignore? yes, the non sorcerers were weak and fell prey to that hive mind in a cult, but wouldn’t they riko they got to know have died during the merger? yes, toji went too far and he killed without meaning but early gojo and geto were pretty reckless in forgetting curtains and limiting the blast radius. 

growing up was always suguru’s weakness and he never figured this out⎯he simply fell through the cracks.

Oh wait is it a toxic family when the father refuses to take accountability and instead blames the kids for his mistakes? And as a result the kids are unwillingly shoehorned into roles where one is the golden perfectionistic never allowed to criticise the family child, and the other is the black sheep difficult selfish disobedient child?

And the golden child is about to explode because he’s never allowed to have his own opinions and so when he feels real frustration at his father, he can’t land the blame there and so he’s conditioned to blame his sibling instead?

And the black sheep child just takes the criticism and the blame and learns to become overly defensive, because he’s learned no one will watch his back but himself, not even his sibling?

honestly same, am kind of sick of people assuming if you like / dont mind your body you have to constantly 'show it off'. can't i just exist? big believer in women's rights to be comfortable and not feel compelled to shave / "show crack" (swimwear especially) !!

Women really can't win. And people really don't get that the problem with concealing clothes of yore and of today is/was not the clothes themselves, but the fact that women HAD/HAVE to wear them or face social- and sometimes legal -consequences. Whereas now, we get the delightful situation of facing censure if we go "too far" one way or the other! Some governments- hi, France -actually mandate the amount of skin women and girls have to show at the beach or at school, especially women and girls of certain religions or ethnicities. While others demand that women cover up to their specifications, like in Iran. So fun, right ladies?!

(I've also heard some people say that women wearing long skirts is "unprofessional?" Look up "are maxi skirts professional" online and you'll find some surprising examples. A fair number of people seem to think there's MAXIMUM professional skirt length as well as a minimum. it's just bizarre)

The backlash against Frozen, which, from my observation, has cooled down (that isn't a joke, I swear-) quite a bit over the past few years, was less based on the quality of the movie itself and more on the fact that its massive success and reach really overshadowed a lot of other movies that came out prior to it and after it and was getting credited for stuff that had already been done before plenty of times, and in many cases, in those exact movies. This is why, to this day, many fans STILL refuse to give Tangled its props without trying to put Frozen down in some way. In their eyes, Tangled should have gotten the glory and accolades Frozen received, but did not, and that made them quite jealous. Overall, Frozen is far from a bad movie. It's a great movie with a great message, characters, music and does actually deserve the success and recognition it got, and some fans need to stop being so salty about it and uplift their fav movies without putting Frozen down so they get the proper appreciation they deserve as well. Although, yes, the credit this movie got for allegedly introducing themes, archetypes and tropes that had already been seen before in Disney, including movies set in a fairytale world with heroines as the protags, was undoubtedly the most annoying part about its success and is part of the reason why many tried to drag this movie and its main leads.
