no but LISTEN chloe beale has constructed her entire life to fit with her chosen world, the bellas, she has literally gone to the bare bone of her being her own person and built herself back up with the essence of the bellas fused in everything she is and does and the choices she makes, and is only able to let that go when she just refocuses all that creative, fierce energy towards beca after graduation. she leaves bc beca leaves (the rest too but she does go with beca after all) and she restructures and redesigns herself around beca this time, and she looks so content when beca proclaims that yes they can do the uso tour bc her life focus is right there on this person

and i’m not saying that chloe isn’t her own person, on the contrary. she is the architect and designer of her own life, to the extreme. she has so much emotion in her and so much love and care to give and devotion to extend that she needs to express that energy, she needs to be living in orbit of the people she has chosen as hers bc otherswise what’s the point

so she’d absolutely want to redefine spaces, tear them down and build them back up and infuse them with the specific energy that would maximise their emotional output. she’s been doing it to her own life

I was very sad that I didn't like Stray Gods... love David Gaider and his work but the music failed to hit me and even the plot lost me at times (tho I was never a fan of visual novels I decided to give it a try).

Now watching Hazbin Hotel I'm thinking this is exactly what I wanted from stray gods music...! I'm in love with the different styles, the Broadway waves, the subtle spanish guitars and beats... it's just...♥️

Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang’s first time meeting is so sus to me now. This is all speculation of course but the way Lu Guang is acting really makes it seem like he knows Xiaoshi already. Like why was this man just standing right where Xiaoshi happened to be playing basketball? He doesn’t look like he ended up there on accident.

Why is Xiaoshi talking to Lu Guang like that? Dude you literally met 10 minutes ago and you’re already calling him your trustworthy partner.. 🤨

Also during a q&a with Director Li, someone asked what Xiaoshi was thinking during this scene and he answered that Xiaoshi felt Lu Guang was familiar even though he hadn’t met him before.

Then Lu Guang just so happens to be passing by the photo studio. He plays it off like it’s totally a coincidence but he’s looking at Xiaoshi all 🥺 before he turns around. Why is he looking at someone he barely knows with so much longing?? Maybe he’s just awkward but with all the other hints there’s probably more to it than that. Not to mention Qiao Ling saying it’s like Lu Guang just magically appeared in their lives one day.

I think Lu Guang definitely knew exactly where Xiaoshi would be and intentionally went to him. Who knows how many times he’s experienced their “first” meeting.
