Then all of a sudden he gets approached by a random ghost begging for his help because their sweet baby girl is about to do something horrible. Oops now all the ghosts are following their most loved ones around just to make sure they are there to rush to Danny for help when all else fails. Now hes getting to fulfil his protection obsession double time because one hes helping protect people from themselves and two hes protecting everyone in Gothem by stopping people from becoming villains for revenge. Plus he gets to see first hand how hes making a difference because all those people he saved are sending him some good vibes from all across Gothem.

Thank god he followed Jazz around so much to slightly absorb some of her phycology knowledge over the years. Plus it was actually pretty interesting so she gave him her old text books. Shes also helping him deal with the rare events where he can’t save someone. Just a moment too late or he stops them but they later succeeded in the hospital. Neither are his fault. Now only if he could convince his core of that.

Anyway why Gothem you ask? Amity Park would have been just as good tbh but imagine Batmans face when he finally gets to be face to face with the emotional support ghost boy. Why is he here? Bruce is fine. Batman is fine. Hes not gonna do anything crazy. It’s just a hard time of year. Around their death always gives him grief. But hes an adult and can manage it.

the plot of simulacrum is that aventurine dies and has his soul stuffed into a robot (like how xueyi is) and basically packaged into a box and mailed to ratio as part of a whole series of mind games meant to fuck with them both specifically. its a long story. but eventually it ends with them both living on the xianzhou as happy homosexuals

then the current working title for the sequel is praetendere (might change it) where we jump like a few centuries into the future to contend with the sad fact that even if they got a happy ending in simulacrum, aventurine's functionally immortal and ratio isnt. but at ratio's insistent request before he passed, aventurine keeps on living and takes on the alias shā-jīn (his cn name, lol) as he now works for the ten lords' commission on the luofu, using his ipc-honed skills to uproot the disciples and help with the xianzhou's hunt

thats when he gets a tip from 'mendax', the apprentice of a rogue genius society member who is tampering with the power of the abundance. this happens to coincide with a fierce battle between the luofu's knights and another denizen army so only shā-jīn is able to respond to the tip and runs into a man who is uncannily similar to ratio, who's been dead for centuries.

Reminiscent of garmadon all those years ago… only this time the source of the shadow walks through the flames to take a glance at the nindroid. “Look at we got here, a cold hearted ‘Hero’,” Kai smirks quickly getting to zanes side, body language smooth, almost feline like. “I hope you know im not about to sing yours or the others praises” Kai snorts as he walks around the nindroid, finishing the lap around Zane and waltzing back to the fire pit.

“Im not here-” Zane starts but has to start over having decided he did not like how he sounded. Kai stops in his tracks and turns toward Zane, eyebrows raised. “im not here for kind words or praises. I want to talk.”

i tested him on my main team and yeah he did not so good, realized robin doesnt give him more coreflames so dammit (ruan mei doesnt either. i think because with the e it targets herself even if it buffs everyone too? cant remember if it applies to ults but regardless robin will be in ult for a long time, and even if thatd be good for ult phainon my priority is to have him ult as fast as possible, not make his damage even stronger)

aventurine's e does count but his follow up refreshing the shield does not (i usually use aventurine to give more skill points cause i usually dont need to use e on him much if ever but i cant do that in this case)

i cant believe i built remembrance trailblazer, bronya, and tingyun for something else, ended up never using them, and then now its just hella convenient i can just put them all in one team and already use em lmao

i heard sustainless is the best team for him but tingyun is very squishable 😭

also this is a very skill point hungry team, but i dont really mind beacuse i know how to play around that

RAGATHA:

writing ragathas piece first but i think it should be obvious that in the beginning she would be a little put off by you for... reasons.. dont get me wrong i think she would feel bad for avoiding you... i mean shes still kind and polite to you when you guys do interact. i think overtime she either gets used to you or you bluntly ask her if she doesnt like you.. which may or may not make her feel even more guilty for her avoidance...

as for actual relationship stuff? simply because of ragathas fear of centipedes it would take her a while to warm up to you, and even longer for a relationship to blossom. usually for characters with long bodies, id propose cuddles where they wrap themselves around their partner... but i think that would genuinely make ragatha panic.. not many ideas here for romance since your form is a constant reminder of her phobia; even if its not your fault

JAX:

another one that give you bug based nicknames but the way in which he says them has a mix of... mischief...? teasing...? something like that, whereas with caine he mostly says it with full adoration. jax... isnt much of a lovey dovey person.. probably messes with your antennae by poking them... kind of smirks if they involuntarily move away from his hand/finger. sits and does that for as long as you two are sitting next to one another; pulls the "im not touching you" thing if you (light heartedly) ask him to stop. imagine you were already in the circus when the pilot occurs and when jax brings up the centipedes he was referring to you... implies youre locked in ragathas room during the pilot oblivious to everything going on/j idk this was funnier in my head.. probably uses you as a running gag for that with ragathas whole... centipede thing

KINGER:

also counts your legs but actually does it for curiosity probably really impressed if you actually have the appropriate number of legs for a centipede! probably tries to figure out what kind you are if you mirror a real world species! ...would it be weird to ask you to go look for bugs with him..? probably awkwardly pets/rubs the top of your head between your antennae, probably lets out an airy chuckle if they flick from his action.. oh please please wrap your body around him when you guys cuddle...! it makes him feel so secure when you do that, plus the added weight around/on him helps him wind down after a chaotic day in the circus! weighted blanket but its your partner, how sweet
