Apologies for answering really late, but I'm sure Mother Ava's response of having that sociopath arrested immediately (much to her and Laura's horror) did not disappoint you, anon 😌.

I think my favorite part about Ava's reaction is that she actually ended up completing Trina's original plan for the sociopathic mooch before things got overly convoluted and stupid. The plan was always a conditional release to give Esme enough rope to hang herself. It got messed up by Cam bizarrely telling her they were waiting to trap her and Spencer getting overly attached to demon spawn. But we've come full circle now because sociopathic mooch is just that fucking stupid.

Spencer's reaction is coming in hot today, and I never feel comfortable predicting Spencer's reaction to anything because he and logic have never really been buddies. He was very suspicious of her behavior in the lead up to this, and I would think he would take any hint of the sociopath in her revealing itself again seriously.

I also think he's going to understand Ava's reasoning for pressing charges because Trina has discussed with him firsthand what not getting justice has felt like for her. But demon spawn also brings out the stupid in him these days, so we'll see.

This is why Ava is my favorite of the Trina relationships, because I never have to worry about her doing Trina dirty in any serious way (you guys hype the Nik lie too much idc 😭).

There's also rumors that he and Nik are also gonna have their reunion today, and that will be it's own can of worms. I'm starting to wonder if this rumored getaway for Trina and Spencer is Spencer literally trying to get him and Trina the hell up outta PC cause he can't handle all the stress lol.

I feel like lazy make out sessions with him usually happen during gloomy or winter days, as he thinks it feels the most romantic that way. He would be the one to initiate them by doing seemingly innocent things that end with him pushing his tongue past your lips in no time.

It would be such a mess, the perfect contrast between lust and love. Just two bodies laying on the bed, some rnb music playing quietly in the background to spice up the mood.

I feel like he's the 'breathy moans' type of guy. Whining into your mouth, describing how much he desires you.. that's what he's into. He isn't afraid of letting out sounds, and he expects you to let out some too, especially when other members are around. It definitely makes him hard as a rock, knowing that his colleagues are listening.

And oh boy.. talking about exhibitionism, I feel like he would purposely leave his door not fully closed, BEGGING in his mind that somebody(ehem, San) would catch you guys in the act. And don't even start on joining. I don't think he would be 100% comfortable with every member, but he would definitely share you with San, Hongjoong or Wooyoung (boy would be already close just by seeing them play with you).

We all have seen that fucking tongue of his. it's long, pointy, and he knows how to use it. he constantly sticks it out during performances, so I imagine him to be an absolute freak. He wins every battle for dominance, even at such slow paced moments.

Spit. SPIT. He loves when your make out sessions are messy, long strings of saliva forming whenever he detaches his plump lips from yours. He would randomly pull away just to stick his tongue out and let his spit slowly drip into your mouth, quickly getting back to business after.

Let's also mention that not every make out session with him is just lips. Oh no no, he is paying attention to everything. Sometimes he lowers himself and plants soft pecks against your neck. Sometimes he gently bites your earlobe, his warm breath tickling your skin. And sometimes he just smothers your whole face with smooches, grinning while he does so. He is a man of passion, but in these moments he just loves to chill out and show you love in a slightly different way.

Oh, and that smirk of his. He would grab different parts of your body unexpectedly, making you let out soft gasps that would trigger his cocky smile. Sometimes it'd be an innocent booty grab, but one second later his hand is slowly sliding under your shirt, his warm fingers exploring your body, getting closer to the sensitive areas on your chest.

After about half an hour, he will lose the ability to think straight. His hand would slide into your pants and quickly find your opening, slowly forcing two fingers into your tight hole. He would hit every sweet spot while still kissing you, getting "annoyed" and spanking you every time you get distracted by the pleasure.

thinking about bestfriend!coryo who knows your parents love him, and, more importantly, he knows how to use that to his advantage.

it's no accident, he's put in meticulous effort in making sure that they not only approve of the friendship, but that he's their favorite friend of yours. when it comes to a family as prominent and wealthy as yours, parental approval goes a long way, especially with how regularly your parents leave town for business.

your father's admiration isn't an easy thing to win, but coriolanus is no stranger to uphill battles, and you're worth it. with the way that you look at him, how could you not be?

so he puts in the work: being the perfect student in classes taught by known friends of your father, wearing his best clothing and practicing old capitol etiquette his grandma'am was more than happy to review with him before family dinners that you invited him to, and making sure to keep proper distance between the two of you whenever your parents are around, no matter how difficult it is for him to remember to not hold your hand.

the hardest part is the fact that most of your father's intimidation comes from the fact that he's the exact kind of man coryo wants to be. powerful, respected, and in a position to never worry about finances or status. but he keeps at it, taking more care than usual to make sure that the signs of poverty are never visible in front of your parents.

even if that means purposefully leaving leftovers of the best food he's eaten in years on his plate so that no one will think he's starving. even if you give him a look that only he can feel the strangeness of because even though you've never spoken of his financial status, you can tell that he's not as well off as everyone thinks. that's the only thing about you that digs beneath his skin--you can always tell.

he's unsure if his efforts are working because of your father's constantly stoic disposition even though you assure him that that's your father when he's relaxed.

but then one day, he's over on your father's last night at home before returning to the districts to oversee some business, and your father asks to speak with him in private. you're instantly snapping your head up from your textbook, wanting to make sure that your father won't say anything embarrassing or rude.

he's scared off other friends in the past and even though it hurts, you never fight back too much because your father isn't an easy man to talk back to. but this is where you draw the line. you're not going to lose your coryo.

coryo feels something in his stomach knot, especially at that bewildered look behind your eye, but he's not about to be openly intimidated, so he assures you that he's fine. when you push, asking what topic could possibly involve just coryo and him and be that private, your father says that it's just business from man to man.

coryo has to force down a smile because he knows he'll be hearing no end of it from you as soon as the two of you are alone together. then he starts to think that this might be it. maybe your father has found out about his true financial status or dean highbottom has finally gotten to him and he's about to be banned from seeing you.

he forces down his anxiety and follows your father into the hall. your father's quick to the point, letting him know that he's leaving for another long stretch of time and that your mother's social and professional engagements mean that you'll be alone often. he closes the statement by asking coriolanus to look after you until he returns.

the realization that coriolanus has made it hits him at the same time as the relief and for a second all he can do is stare. then his senses return to him and he's swearing to your father that he'll take such good care of you, your father will have nothing to worry about. then your father's clasping his shoulder and offering him a gruff but oddly genuine thank you, son before telling him to get back to your room before you get paranoid.

it's an odd way to end the moment, but coryo's so busy trying to convince himself to not mentally plan out your wedding (because let's be honest, that's a level of trust from someone like your father might as well be a pre-engagement) that he doesn't think of it.

when he gets back to your room, you ask as casually as you can manage what your father wanted. after telling you that your father just wants to make sure that you're looked after while he's away, coryo expects you to be happy. but instead of reacting positively, you just sort of nod and mumble something polite before attempting to go back to studying.

something in his chest hardens. he's your best friend, who you spend as much time as socially acceptable with, and you two are being given the perfect excuse to be around each other more and you're not happy.

he immediately pushes and you reluctantly tell him that this has to mean that he's in with your father. another thing that coryo thinks you should be thrilled about. the more your father approves, the closer the two of you can be. he's accusing you of being sick of him, of trying to get rid of him, of no longer wanting to be best friends with him.

that has you scrambling to defend yourself. there's little you consider more important than your friendship with him. it's the only bond you fully trust.

so you tell him that your real concern is that your father never gets along with your friends that way, and that the only similar reference point you have is the way he talks to people like him.

you then tell him that the people in your father's social circle aren't like coryo. at the very least, not your coryo, who's never harsh with you and would rather spend parties sitting with you than sharing cruel opinions to impress other men.

all coriolanus hears is that you don't see him the way you see the actually important men. the hurt behind his eyes has you moving to stand and reaching for him. he lets you take his hand but doesn't react, so you explain it as transparently as possible. people that your father likes are mean, and you don't want to lose him to that.

there's something about the way you say it, all round eyes and genuine worry. it reminds him too much of tigris, of the newfound hint of tension in their relationship that's become more prevalent. she's constantly reminding him of what his father's success turned him into.

coryo's pulling you into a hug, whispering promises that you could never lose him. you're hugging him back tightly, hand smoothing circles against his back.

he realizes he means what he's saying. he can achieve the prominence he wants without alienating you. there's a way to be stern with the world and just coryo to you. and even if his edges become a little sharper, he'll keep that away from you and you'll understand.

you may criticize some of your father's views and actions, but you do love him. coryo sees it in the way that you constantly strive for his approval, he sees it in the way your face lights up when he's home. if you can love your father through your disagreements, you can love him as well. he'll make sure of it.

feeling better, he starts semi-playfully chiding you for even thinking that anything could take you away from him. that you should know better than to not see this as yet another thing he's doing for you, for your friendship.

you don't want to admit it, but you're feeling a little bad for reacting like that. after all, coryo was so excited to tell you and you know your father's capable of scaring people out of your life. at least this means that nothing's going to get in between the two of you.

coryo recognizes your slight pout and the apologetic line between your eyebrows. the two of you so rarely argue that even a hint of conflict has you willing to do anything to make things feel normal again.

so he lets himself play into his hurt. you're quick to pick up on it, holding onto him a little tighter. the two of you stay like that for awhile until you break the silence, saying that you're happy that he has an excuse to be around more.

eventually the two of you end up sitting on your bed, both of you silently agreeing that you've done enough homework. instead you focus on reassuring him, holding his hand between both of yours, pressing the occasional chaste kiss against his knuckles and resting your head against his shoulder until he has to go home.

after your father leaves, coryo takes his promise to look after you seriously. he's already in the habit of walking you home after school every day, but he start staying over after every day. the lack of authority figures around makes it a little easier to accept the after school snacks your maid always prepares and sometimes he even lets you send some home with him.

his grandma'am's over the moon when he starts accepting invitations to school social events that he honestly considers painful because he's escorting you. she's convinced that the two of you are getting married and with your family's status and the snow name, there's no door the two of you won't be able to unlock. even though you're still just friends, he rarely reminds her. it's for her own sake, he tells himself, it makes her happy.

the promise to your father also makes him bolder. he feels more assured, more justified in his disapproval of those that show a little too much interest in you.

you still don't notice the way his jaw tightens when some unaware guy gets too close, or think anything of the way that it almost always leads to him grabbing your hand.

he also stays over more, sometimes leaving for a few hours in the late afternoons so your maid doesn't think anything's going on. your family's estate is so large it's easy enough to get him in and out through a secondary exit.

the two of you fall into such a good routine that when your parents do get back, they start trusting coryo even more. your father asks if he can take you to certain social events that normally you wouldn't be allowed to attend and your strict weekday curfew becomes more of a suggestion when he's around.

I think being willing is an entirely different story because with his background, he'd be quite resistant to anything that might soften him up, but that's because love is truly scary. It is ultimately a weakness, and that goes for anyone who's either been heartbroken or can see what it does to people.

To be willing to be in love is to be willing to be hurt, to be willing to be vulnerable and expose yourself, and to be willing to feel the most unimaginable pain should you lose it. Aemond, first and foremost, wouldn't be willing in the beginning, but I don't think that should keep you from thinking about how he would love. The thought of loving someone so deeply and exposing the deepest, darkest, and most innocent parts of himself would be the most terrifying thing in the world. He'd feel the inner turmoil and torture of "what ifs." But as the logical part sets in again (as my therapist said - "logic is the only thing that can pull you back from anxiety and irrational thoughts" and love most certainly can be irrational and make you feel like everything logical is crumbling around you), he would know that this person makes him stronger, not weaker. That's a battle only he can fight.

I think he'd be willing to fight for it and willing to keep it.

But also there's also the concept of "I can live without her, but it would be a torturous existence. If I am to suffer from an emotion as ridiculous as love, let me suffer by her side."

Hi coming in with another silly idea Imagine that the Player is in early Nevada, and around the time Nexus is supposed to fall they fall into a type of coma. Jeb goes through with his plan (painfully without the player by his side), Hofnarr turns into Tricky with his last thoughts begging for the Player to come back. Phobos' fight being much more easy due to the fact he thinks his god abandoned him. Then the Player comes back like "hey sorry about that" and Jeb starts wailing while Tricky goes YIPPEE and runs around them like an excited dog.

Why is everything you draw so cute omg 😭, everyone is so adorable here. It's honestly a little weird to see the Employers look so huggable, I love it.

To actually get into the scenario though, my thoughts on this are far too long to make it into a normal ask response, so you're getting some sort of unofficial hcs instead lol. Enjoy!

<The Player Falls into a Coma before the Fall> ft. Jebus, Hofnarr/Tricky, the Employers & Phobos

There was no warning for your sudden coma whatsoever. At most, you felt a tad more exhausted than usual at the end of the day, but this can be attributed to many different things, so of course you wouldn't worry about it. Neither would anyone else either, for that matter.

You had absolutely no idea that when you slowly fell asleep that night, you wouldn't be waking up again for a very long time.

It certainly wouldn’t take long for those you know to find out about your condition either. For one, Hofnarr and Jeb would want to recap their plan with you before going through with it, so naturally they stopped by for that. However, they find you unconscious and completely unresponsive to their every attempt to wake you. To make matters worse, there isn't a sign that you'd been awake at all in the past few days; the buildup of dust on your furniture and the letters in your mailbox shows as much.

Despite their worry, they’d eventually have to leave your side, if only to get more medical supplies and other things to help you. This opens up a window for the others in your life to finally take action, those being the Employers.

The shadowy figures had been keeping tabs on you all the time, so when you just didn't wake up, they would probably be the first to know - even if their actions came second to the Nexus Scientist's.

(You didn’t send the Deliberator a “good morning” text and he started panicking. What could possibly be so bad that you didn't speak to him? A cursory call to the worried AAHW agents the Auditor had sent to tail you was proof enough that you'd deviated from your usual schedule, and you weren't the type to ever be late.)

They were quick to take you from your home and to a more secret place, so that they could keep close observation over you.

Honestly, despite how much the Employers might brag about knowing you better than anyone else (a privilege they gained from being the first to realize your existence), they truly know little about your anatomy. However, they can tell that sleeping for full days isn't normal at all, judging by your previous behavior.

They're also far too stubborn to ask any other mortals for help as well, so they simply resigned to try to help you themselves while keeping you safe with them. They couldn't do much else, so hopefully you'd understand that once you awoke in a strange place.

Nevada rots without your guidance and the grunts you were close to were left reeling by this (unintentional) abandonment you committed.

Phobos loses much of his drive due to his own emotional frailty as he grappled with his uncharacteristic self-doubt and questioning. As it happens, this also makes him more zealous as well. In his last moments, he has a second wind, believing that if he just fights hard enough, you might decide to come back and help him in his battle against Christoff. (But you don't. You couldn't.)

Jebus' feelings are surprisingly parallel to the Director's in terms of worship and near zealotry. Except, he believes it might be his fault that you left, which only increases the fervor he has to complete his plans. It will be painful without you there, but this agony is his repentance for the sins which he has wronged you with. It is only through this that he believes you might show your presence once more, even if it’s not now.

Unfortunately, Hofnarr's transformation into Tricky was just as painful as it would be otherwise, and the pain of abandonment just makes it worse. Funny, how the pictures taken of you with him and Christoff were miraculously unscathed within Hofnarr's lab even after Tricky came to be. The zombified clown must have found some value in them, even if he couldn’t remember the complete reason why he felt so warm when he looked at them.

Of course, you did actually awaken eventually. You had no idea how much time had passed when you woke up, so seeing the Employers look so uncharacteristically worried when you woke up was really odd. You honestly think they’d be weepy if they had the ability to cry.

You really didn’t know how to react to the news that you’d essentially been in a coma for thirty years. Your first course of action is to find Jeb and Tricky to find out what actually happened since you feared your early appearance might’ve had an impact on the timeline regarding Nevada’s fall. This leads to very different reactions.

Jeb isn't one to typically show much vulnerability, but seeing you again completely shatters those walls he's kept up for so long. At first, he thinks you're just a hallucination; the culmination of all the longing he has for you finally taking its toll on his broken mind as almost a cruel joke. 

The first words he speaks to you after thirty years is a short, "You're not real", said as more of an insistence to himself than anything. But when he comes closer and you don’t disappear, and he reaches out a trembling hand to rest lightly on your shoulder, and you stay, he just breaks. The warmth of your form washes over him like it used to, and suddenly he feels an uncomfortable tightness well up in his throat as tears gather in his eyes.

You reach up to hold his taller form closer to you, sinking to the ground with him as he buries his face into your neck and sobs. His hold on you is soft, and his hands are still shaky; he's holding you like he's scared of shattering you, and he only gets weaker when you whisper soothing words and apologies to him.

Compared to Jebus, your meeting with Tricky was a lot more upbeat. It’s probably because he was spared much of the reflection and sorrow that Jeb went through due to his rather unstable mental state, but that didn’t stop him from somehow recognizing you. It’s almost like a switch flipped in his mind, and he went from violently slamming his sign into some poor grunt's face to freezing at the sight of your face.

He then tosses the sign away and almost launches himself at you to envelop you in a tight bear hug, screaming excitedly while you grin back rather tiredly. (You hope your eardrums will be okay after this.) But in the next second, he's whirling away from you, flailing his hands as he continues to talk.

It’s like being greeted by your dog after being away for months; he never stops moving or asking hurried questions about where you’ve been, intermittent with little words about how much he’s missed you.

Both Jeb and Tricky are very clingy after this. Even if they don't get along now, they're not willing to let you leave their sides after this, especially not when you go to sleep. (What if you fall into a coma again? Someone has to be there to take care of you.)

Deep down, they also have a striking suspicion that someone was behind your coma. They didn't know who exactly, but there was no other explanation to them than this. How else would you, Nevada's most powerful being, fall into such a state?

(In the near future, when you come across Hank and the others, let's just say that your scientists won't be deterred from leaving your side quite so easily. You'd been gone for thirty years, so you should only expect their companionship to remain more permanent for the coming years.)

Please can i request a part 2 to “I love you so” where they go on a really dangerous mission and while reader is like one of the most powerful people on the team she got injured very severely trying to protect the team with a smile on her face, and she got injured like to the point where she has to be resuscitated multiple times due to the severity of it, and her and wally haven’t talked much since she asked him about Artemis and Him and he’s been an emotional wreck realizing whatever is going on between him and Artemis have to end cuz he really does love reader and things with Artemis was just a phase and he does tell Artemis about it and she’s pretty upset about it she later comes to realize that this thing between them wasn’t worth losing reader and their friendship and the teams trust so she does apologize to reader even tho she’s in a comatose state and Wally later enters in begging for her forgiveness and promising to be better and fight for their relationship no matter what and how long it takes and when reader wakes up he’s doing all that he can to make it up to her for all the hurt he’s caused

It had only been a few days since you had confronted Wally about Artemis, but it felt like a lifetime ago. The air between you had shifted, thick with unspoken words and unresolved emotions. You had barely talked since then. It wasn’t as though the missions had stopped coming in, giving you no time to breathe, let alone to figure out where you stood with him. Yet, in the rare moments of quiet, the weight of everything hung over you like a storm waiting to break.

You couldn’t get the look in his eyes out of your head—the brief flicker of hesitation when you had asked if there was something between him and Artemis. And while he had denied it, that flicker told you more than words ever could. You had hoped he’d come to you, talk it through, but days had passed, and nothing. Wally had become distant, and you weren’t sure if it was guilt or confusion that was driving the wedge deeper between you two.

Today, however, there was no room for personal matters. The team had been called on another mission—one far more dangerous than usual. The intel suggested an overwhelming enemy force, but you knew there was no option but to fight. That’s what you did. That’s what you had always done.

The battle was chaos from the start—enemies surrounding your team from all sides. You were in the thick of it, your power crackling at your fingertips as you tore through the battlefield. But the longer the fight dragged on, the more desperate the situation became. The team was outnumbered, cornered, and for a moment, you could feel the tide turning against you.

You spotted Wally across the battlefield, moving at lightning speed, but in a split second, you saw it—an enemy aiming a deadly blow right at him. There wasn’t time to shout, no time to think. Everything happened in an instant. The blast hit you with the force of a freight train, knocking the wind from your lungs. Pain surged through your entire body, but you forced a smile, a small one, through the haze of agony. If this was how it ended, it was worth it. You had protected them. You had protected him.

Your vision started to blur, darkness creeping in at the edges. The last thing you saw before everything went black was Wally’s horrified face, screaming your name, rushing toward you in a blur of red and yellow.

The med bay was cold, sterile, and eerily quiet except for the steady beep of machines monitoring your fragile state. You were unconscious, hooked up to every piece of medical equipment available, your body still after having been resuscitated multiple times. The damage had been extensive—far worse than anyone had anticipated. The healers were doing everything they could, but there was only so much they could control. Now, it was a waiting game.

Wally had barely left your side since they brought you in, his heart heavy with guilt and fear. He hadn’t been able to save you, not in time. You had saved him, and now you were lying here, fighting for your life, because of him.

And because of everything that had happened between you and Artemis.

The truth was that, after your confrontation, Wally had been spiraling. He had been avoiding facing his feelings, avoiding the reality that there had been something between him and Artemis. But now, seeing you like this, fighting for your life because you had risked everything for him, he knew without a doubt that you were the only one he wanted. You had always been the one. Whatever he’d felt for Artemis had been a passing phase—a mistake born out of confusion. And it was over now. It had to be.

He had gone to Artemis earlier that day, pulling her aside after a particularly tense mission debrief. It wasn’t easy to look her in the eyes and admit the truth, but he had to.

“Artemis, we need to talk,” he had said quietly, his voice thick with emotion.

She had known what was coming, he could see it in her eyes. “It’s about her, isn’t it?” Artemis had asked, her tone calm but laced with sadness.

Wally had nodded. “Yeah. I… I care about you, but whatever this was, it’s over. I love her, Artemis. I always have. I just— I don’t know what I was thinking.”

Artemis had looked away, her jaw tight, but she didn’t say anything for a long moment. When she finally spoke, her voice was quiet, almost resigned. “I get it, Wally. I’m not going to lie and say it doesn’t hurt, but… you’re right. This thing between us—it wasn’t worth losing everything. Losing her. I didn’t want it to go this far.”

There was a pause before Artemis met his gaze again, a flicker of remorse crossing her face. “I’m sorry, Wally. I’ll talk to her. She deserves better than this.”

Wally hadn’t known what to say. He just nodded, his chest heavy with relief and guilt. He couldn’t fix the past, but he could fight for the future—your future together, if you would give him that chance.

Later that night, when the med bay was empty and the world outside seemed quiet for the first time in days, Artemis entered your room. She stood by your bedside, staring down at you with a mixture of regret and sorrow. The team had trusted her, you had trusted her, and she had let that slip away.

“I don’t know if you can hear me,” Artemis whispered, her voice thick with emotion. “But I’m sorry. For everything. For letting it go this far. You didn’t deserve any of this. The team, you, Wally… I messed up. And I know that doesn’t change anything, but I hope—when you wake up—that you’ll forgive me.”

She stayed there for a long moment, the weight of her words hanging in the air before she quietly slipped out of the room.

When Wally entered the med bay later that night, the weight of his guilt had only grown heavier. Seeing you lying there, pale and still, hooked up to all those machines—it was like his heart was breaking over and over again. He sat beside you, taking your hand in his, his thumb brushing softly over your knuckles. You were so cold.

“I’m so sorry,” Wally whispered, his voice cracking. “I was such an idiot. I let things get so messed up between us, and now you’re lying here because you were protecting me. I—” He stopped, swallowing hard, tears gathering in his eyes. “I love you. I should’ve told you that sooner. I should’ve shown you. But I’m going to make it up to you, I swear. I’ll fight for you, for us, for as long as it takes.”

His voice broke entirely then, and he pressed his forehead against your hand, the tears falling freely now. “Please come back to me. Please…”

Days passed, and Wally never left your side. He was there for every shift change, every test, every moment you remained in that comatose state. The team visited, offering him support, but his focus never left you. Every night, he whispered apologies and promises, vowing to do whatever it took to fix what had been broken.

Then, one quiet morning, your fingers twitched. The steady beep of the heart monitor began to shift as your eyes fluttered open, weak but conscious.

Wally, half asleep in the chair beside you, shot up, his heart racing as he watched you blink, your gaze slowly focusing.

“Hey,” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. “You’re awake.”

You blinked at him, your throat too dry to speak, but you managed a small smile. He gripped your hand tighter, his eyes filling with tears again, but this time, they were tears of relief.

“I’m so sorry,” he said, his voice shaking. “For everything. I know I’ve hurt you, and I know I don’t deserve it, but if you’ll give me the chance, I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to you. I love you, and I’ll never take you for granted again.”

You stared at him for a long moment, exhaustion still pulling at you, but in his eyes, you saw the sincerity, the love that had always been there beneath the hurt.

And even though you were still too weak to say much, you gave his hand a gentle squeeze. It wasn’t forgiveness just yet, but it was a start.

And Wally West would fight for you. For as long as it took.

♥️ Ranking Richonne

#18: We Will (S7E16)

The beauty of this whole scene is just breathtaking to me and I appreciate this moment so much. 😭 I once saw Rick and Michonne's dynamic described as “healthily reliant on each other” and that’s really a great way to put it. I mean there's a reason TOWL's description says, "Without each other are they even alive?" And this s7 finale scene illustrates how Rick and Michonne breathe life into each other. I always love it when Richonne’s deep love is so visibly poured out, and this moment just perfectly captured how much they love and need each other, and how they truly are one...

This scene arrives after all the wild events of the season 7 finale. Rick and Michonne had a day, y’all. 😣 Like being harassed and betrayed by Jadis and her people, losing Sasha (😢), Michonne having to fight for her life on a balcony, Rick and Carl on their knees devastated thinking they just saw the matriarch of their family fall to her death, and Negan coming this close to killing Carl before a whole tiger saves the day. Safe to say they’d been through a lot and needed to now be back in the arms of the one who makes them feel most safe. And so that’s exactly what happens. 😌

As soon as Rick and Carl are able to go check on Michonne they urgently run over to find her, and I love how much her boys love her and how happy they are to see it wasn’t her that fell. If my eyes don’t deceive me, Rick really does look upward and seems both relieved and impressed that Michonne took care of business. 

So then Rick enters this room where Michonne is leaning against a wall and all bloodied and it’s heartbreaking to see. I always think about how she must've been so seriously hurt to have to just stay in that room during the battle 😢 cuz I know if any ounce of her could have continued to fight with the others, she would have.

Rick immediately gets rid of his gun when he sees it’s her and he is so gentle with her when he stoops to her side and calls her name. At the same time, you can really hear and see the utter concern he has as he worries if she’ll respond. He loves her so much, y’all. �� It’s always so clear. Especially the second time he says her name, you can just tell that losing Michonne would break him.

I'm sure he knows it too. Like in the van in 7.12 he expressed knowing it was possible they could lose each other, but for both Rick and Michonne, seeing the other "fall to their death" and thinking they lost them just really confirmed that the loss of the other would be pretty unbearable.

Also, the way he takes the biggest breath when he finally hears her breathing. My heart instantly melts. It’s beautiful. And it is such a vivid illustration of the way she has his heart. Like truly, it’s like her little breath put breath back into him.

It feels like Rick now knows the exact feeling Michonne felt when she thought she lost him in Say Yes. He experienced that same emptying when thinking he saw her fall. And so being back with her just brings him back to life, and I feel like it confirms to him how much he can’t lose her. Like they still can technically, but also they can't.

I love the tender way Rick places his hand on her face and whispers "you’re alive" with so much relief. And you can tell this whole time he’s trying to figure out how to touch her without hurting her. #Magnets.

And the way Michonne can’t even fully open her eyes but just hearing his voice and feeling his touch puts a smile on her face. Y’all...their love is so palpable, and they are seriously the best soulmates on TV. Just had to reiterate that. 🙌🏾

The way Michonne clearly reaches for him too. I feel like it has to be such a relief to her that he’s also alive after the last thing she saw was basically him getting grazed by trifling Jadis before the fight broke out.

Carl joins them, and I know having her boys back with her after all the chaos that ensued really does cement to Michonne that they’re the ones who live.

And then I absolutely adore that it seems Rick kisses her hand. And then, even in so much pain that it hurts to talk, Michonne, the resilient queen she is, still nods and tries to instill encouragement and belief in them by trying to say their ever-so-important and always true motto - we’re the ones who live.

But that Rhonda Rousey trash chick really did a number when choking her, so Michonne can’t fully get the words out. So, to just make the scene even more romantic, Rick knows exactly what she’s trying to say, and he says in the warmest sweetest voice, "I know" three times. 

Y’all, it makes me teary the way he speaks to her. 🥲 Both of their Richonne tones are A1 always. It is so caring and gentle, and I love that he sees that she’s in pain and he again softly touches her and lets her know it’s okay cuz he knows what she’s trying to say, and he believes in their motto too. 

And he shows how much he believes it even more when he says with conviction “We are. We will.” Genuinely romantic and moving. 😭😭 Like genuinely no one should be surprised that Rick and Michonne's return to the franchise is being marketed as an epic love story because their journey has always been a love story. And a love story for the ages at that. 😌

I love the way Rick looks right at Michonne this whole time, again just letting her be the sole focus over anything else going on. And it’s sweet cuz in the s7 msf she was the one reminding him they’re the ones who live, and in the finale, it’s them both knowing and believing it together. 🥰

There's also something so powerful about the two of them affirming this to each other after their previous partners both didn't have that same 'we can live and make it' mentality. It just further shows how Rick and Michonne are truly more aligned at their core.

And then you really see those magnets kick in cuz Rick is like somehow someway I still need to hug you. And I just adore this hug. 😭 I love it because it’s Rick wanting to offer comfort to her, but it’s also very much a comfort for him too.

You can just see it in the way he leans into her like this is the one moment in the day where he can just release and be Rick the human being, in the arms of the woman who loves and takes care of and offers the utmost warmth to him.

I so appreciate that Rick and Michonne are able to equally be that invaluable source of comfort for each other - because they’re strong for everyone else, but with each other they can just be all of themselves.

And I love how, even in her pain, Michonne still passionately embraces him (with her hands in his curls once again, cuz of course 😋) You again just see how much this husband and wife can be human with each other and how much being in each other's arms is where they feel most at home. After everything they'd been through that day, just being back with each other began to restore them.

It’s also really sweet that Carl is right there to see all this. I love that during this time Carl and Judith got to grow up in a home where their parents so deeply loved each other. irl, it’s important for kids to see their parents value each other.

(also the only thing that could have made this scene better is if we got to see Carl eventually join in on the hug. i tease that this is 'the greedy hug' because Rick really said look I need my time with Michonne and Carl is just gon' have to wait his turn lol 😋)

And I notice how Carl had been being strong all episode but it’s only when he sees Michonne that we see him get a bit more emotional. Michonne has always meant so much to him. That's his mom. So it’s sweet that it’s in this moment where Carl finally can’t help but react with a bit more emotion.

Also it makes me think of how little Carl was there to witness that bullet exchange between Rick and Michonne in Clear, where his little self seemed to be picking up on a vibe between them. And now here he is older, and seeing exactly the love that was deep under the surface between Rick and Michonne back then.

(Side note: of all the deleted TWD scenes I’ve seen, the one from this ep with Michonne giving a speech to Carl (and Rick) really should’ve been kept in imo, especially as a full circle moment to this scene here) 

And I love that they really stay in that hug for a moment. Richonne never rushes when expressing their love. And the visual of the three of them, the golden trio, is just beautiful. 🥹

Season 7 made a lot missteps but truly when it came to Rick and Michonne’s love story this season they never missed not once. In the area of Richonne content, season 7 is one of my favorites for them because there's just an abundance of Richonne gold throughout.

And concluding Richonne's s7 arc with this gorgeous moment where they seem so relieved to be alive with each other and to be the ones who live and to hug so passionately is great. 

And then later to see Rick tending to Michonne while she healed. It was a lovely way to close out the Richonne content of their first full season as a couple. Every season, Rick and Michonne always land on unity and love no matter what they go through.

Scenes like this #18 one make it so clear that what we’ve always been watching is a love supreme between Rick and Michonne Grimes (as Rick has now made perfectly clear for the people in the back #MyWifeIsMyChoice). And I love to see it. 😌

So I was just singing Spy x Family's praises to my friend (as you do), and it occurred to me that the characters' backstories may be revealed in the order they were introduced: Twilight>Anya>Yor.

We know that each member of the main cast has had painful childhood experiences (honestly, I wouldn't even know how to rank who had it worse because each is its own brand of hell), it could make perfect sense to introduce the backstories sequentially or it could be introduced as leading themes into current plotlines. Who knows?

Chapter 90.5 has us all waiting with baited breath to see if we're getting Anya's backstory or not and I think if we are getting another look into someone's past, Anya's makes the most sense. Though Endo could be a complete tease and not give us anything for another 10 chapters 😭.

Twilight's backstory provided some great context into his past and what led to his current emotional struggles, setting the context for why he holds fast to his goal of 'creating a peaceful world' while fighting his losing battle of loving his new little family (especially the mole arc hoooboy!).

We already have in story context for Project Apple, we know it's existence, that there was human and animal experimentation (Anya and Bond) and that the subjects were being used for political goals somehow. We had the lead up of little bread crumbs along the way like she might have 'escaped the lab', her random knowledge of classical language, etc. Now would be a good time to start working toward weaving that story more fully into the main plot line (Random aside but has anyone ever noticed Desmond has 2 scars on the side of his head like Frankenstein's screws?).

I think Yor's backstory is still quite a ways off. There's still too much we don't know about Garden, I think, for them to introduce her backstory and how she met them. They're shady af, we don't know what their motives are, who they work for, nothing!

I mean, was anyone else worried when Yor mentioned Loid took a liking to Desmond and Shopkeeper was like 'oh really?'. That was so sinister, and it was never mentioned again! Makes me feel like a setup to him digging into Loid Forger or something.

Bringing in Garden's orgins seems like material leading up to identity reveals between Yor and Twilight, and the story just isn't there yet. So Anya it is and I'm so ready but I'm so NOT!

LIKE I KNEW IT WOULD BE BAD ITS CALLED THE ‘WAR ARC’ FOR A REASON BUT DUDE!

Holy fuck I feel so bad for everyone, but I felt especially bad for Mic, Aizawa, Hawks, Dabi, and the rest of the Todorokis. because goddamn!

Hawks, A: gets his wings set on fucking fire B: finds out his biggest hero failed so spectacularly he created the 2nd most wanted villain in Japan C: has his real name revealed D: did I mention that his wings were set on fire E: will have to deal with the press on top of this!

And I mean I the span of what, 3 days? Mic and Aizawa find out that A: their best friend’s corpse was stolen, mutilated, and used to create a monster. B: fight a losing battle knowing that literal children are acting as soldiers and they can’t do anything about it C: Hizashi learned that the LOV didn’t even want oboro they were after Shouta and took the next best thing when they failed to capture him, AND now he has to decide if he should tell his best friend who already blamed himself that the league wanted him instead!? D: Shouta cut. off. his. goddamned. leg. E: midnight fucking died F: a bunch of their students got hurt and they won’t even be recognized for their bravery.

aND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE TODOROKIS!!! (To preface I unfortunately already knew about the dabi/touya reveal)

One thing that will always kill me about Michael Yew's death and how Rick just... kinda dropped it?

Like yeah he brought it up recently... like twice in one book.

But we get NO closure. After Percy leaves that bridge you have nothing but context clues to piece together how him and others might feel after.

Yes,he was brought in just to die, but unlike with Lee the book prior (who doesn't even get a description) he's semi fleshed out. As much as you can a minor character in half a book.

Him being known for his attitude and his fighting with Clarisse. Yet he's the one who truly gets that things were about to get serious (with little info BTW. Annabeth mentions he hardly explained a thing so all I can think of is Percy just told them where to meet and what to bring.) He stepped back and gave the chariot, and got rightfully upset when she still refused. Yet when he explains it to Percy he doesn't sound angry anymore, the way he talks gives a more "ey, what can we do now" tone.

We see how he is in battle, he's much calmer then he was at camp. He's still got attitude but he's not picking fights with anyone. He's grinning when he runs up, and given their odds in that fight he likely was doing it to not show his siblings or the enemy he was frightened in any way. His siblings were dieing, I always assume this where they took their biggest hit. So Michael, who's been rushed into a leadership role in the middle of war, is in the biggest battle yet and losing his siblings left and right. And he keeps his head.

He's the one who tells Percy they need to retreat. Yet he doesn't question him when Percy tells them they need to hold their ground there. And Percy LITERALLY tells Annabeth she's the only one who can gather MICHAEL'S cabin in a defensive line why Percy fights the minotaur.

And Michael, known for telling Clarisse to kiss his ass in the most ages 10+ book way he can, just does a sarcastic "gee thanks" and doesn't argue.

Boy had to watch Percy flirting with Annabeth that whole first bit in middle of battle gods bless him 😭 I just know he teased Annabeth once Percy left.

But yeah, he's such a good leader for just being there a year. And when they're retreating, and Annabeth gets hurt and whisked away, he definitely saw Percy was the only one standing between Kronos' Army and his siblings + all of Manhattan. If it weren't for his idea to break the bridge (which is brilliant btw we don't see many other campers mentioning Percy's powers.) Then they would've been screwed. Reinforcements didn't come until the next day, and say Silena leaves around the same time for Clarisse,she doesn't return until the day AFTER.

Michael made a calculated decision, and why it's argued whether he could've pieced Percy have dipped in the styx or not(Hestia out right says it in front of everyone. And just watching him fight they had to have tell that he wasn't harmed as he should be) he still knew Percy couldn't hold all of them on his own.

And the reaction when Percy finds out is emotional. Him desperately searching over the bridge,his frustrated scream(which I hope is heart breaking in the show). It's emotional. Then it's intrupted by Annabeth needing help,not say that scene wasn't needed btw, just I find it very unrealistic no one even ASKED Percy about Michael. Even if they saw the end of the fight through the shield, there had to be someone going "is it true about Michael?"

CAUSE THAT'S WHAT THE DID FOR BECKENDORF AND SILENA.

I know they were more established characters, but it's just sad that Michael is kinda...forgotten.

And the thing was, his odds were purposely stacked against him.

In a rp server I'm on we were talking about how in a battle usually people take out the strongest and the healers.

Ares cabin is likely the strongest in just brute strength and determination in a fight. He didn't have to do anything for that.

The Apollo cabin ARE the healers(so are hunters but not as good considering none of them could help Annabeth.)

Jake outright states that Kronos went for their weak points, but I don't think he just means by size(after all the Apollo cabin had one the highest amount of members second to Hermes)

The Hunters were the biggest by size, but they were also at their strongest. Kronos attacked by night, Hunters took oath to the goddess of the MOON.

And very few other cabins had limitations based off day and night cycle.

Except for Apollo kids. They were weaker at night with the lack of the sun(not Will in tsats weak, just not at their highest point).

Not only that, but it would take care of the best healers. By the time Percy has to grab a Apollo kid,Will's likely the oldest(and considering Michael personally trained him Percy probably knew him in some way before hand as he likely took up as semi-head medic when Michael was too busy in battle stuff, assuming he was always the second oldest before that battle that is.) And best medic.

Kayla and Austin don't specialize in healing like Will does. We don't even really know what powers they have different to Will's. That and they were like 11, Kayla was maybe 12 but we're not sure. They likely joined camp THAT year and had hardly any medical training. And we don't know the skills of who(if any) were left after that first night.

I stand by the fact that Kronos' decision to push his focus on Williamsburg Bridge was strategically planned,that it makes Michael's death even more tragic.

I hope in the show we 1. See more of him in at least the background. 2. Get shown people actually mourning him. Obviously I'm biased to Jake cause Jake x Michael. But Katie, Silena,Annabeth??

Heck the Stolls? I can see them being close to him.

Show Clarisse(and maybe even Chris too) finding out about his death. Show how it effects Percy and the Apollo cabin. Percy looks at the Apollo cabin a good amount of times throughout the book, Show him looking over at Will rushing about and having a pained look on his face.

Also,I find it completely impossible that there was no kid at that camp who tried to bring up Michael when Percy went missing. Like "oh there goes another missing head counselor."

Then just immediately gets clonked on the head for it fjdydf

Digimon Data Squad (Savers) - Episode 48

Omg. That ending was actually kinda unhinged 😂 It started out extremely predictable but then they pulled that twist at the end and made things interesting. Appreciate that they tried something different!

This series was decent. At the end of the day I'm disappointed in how one note all of the characters became. It feels like Tohma was the only one who got significant development and the digimon-human relationships were hit or miss. I definitely prefer it to Frontier, but I'd rank it lower than the first 3 seasons.

It catches me off guard every time for some reason and then I go "oh yeah, obviously."

It was a cool idea to have the lesser digivolutions in the final battle, if not just to see them again. Of course the child form is the one we're most attached to anyways.

The whole episode was like the opposite of that "facts don't care about your feelings" saying. It was all emotion over probability lol (or as an 80s ballad would say THE POWER OF LOVE!). It was cool to see a buncha side characters (and randos) awaken their digisouls. What does this mean lore-wise? No clue. It didn't happen for everyone I noticed...

So in total, Yggdrasill had like 5 forms. I want more context for that weird blue one that looks like an icicle. Was that piloting the spaceship looking form? Weird.

Yggdrasill's final form kinda looked like Millenniummon from the games. Also kinda looked like a delicious Gusher lmao

Of course Suguru is fine ("Yggdrasill brought me back to life") but wait, what about BanchouLeomon?? Screw him, I guess lol. (Or maybe they showed him and I blinked and missed it...)

I really liked the digimon standing up for themselves and their need to return home. I feel like that gave them more agency. It was interesting that they acknowledged the confusion of losing a God (like damn, that would be messed up). Masaru calling Agumon selfish for wanting to go home was pretty out of pocket, but I understand he didn't really mean it. (And Agumon did good sticking to his guns).

Gaomon wagging his tail and blushing when he served Tohma tea 😭 Too precious.

Yoshi and Lalamon never got enough screentime so I didn't really feel anything when they had their last hangout. Police!Yoshi was kinda cute.

Ikuto and Chika looked so adorable in their school uniforms 😭 Glad to see they became good friends.

Okay, THAT ENDING. It wasn't really the fact that Masaru goes to live in the digiworld, it was the fact that there was ZERO pushback whatsoever and Suguru immediately encouraged it loooool 😂 He could just be gone...forever!? There's a fine line between supportive and neglectful here. Just, amazing.

I like how Falcomon was like "Ikuto, you can't go back to the Digital World, your family was just reunited!" Meanwhile Masaru's family was literally just reunited too but oh well. (Different dynamic, I know).

Anyways, I think it's hilarious that this is the direction they took and I'm very happy for Masaru and Agumon. Let's hope Masaru becomes a legend and not terrorized by an angry God like his dad. (If I overthink things like food, shelter, and human socialization I'm gonna spiral so I won't).

Mob Psycho 100 playlist

I made a playlist, and I'm gonna post the songs on here and explain why I chose each of them. I'm not including every single song because of the audio limit but I'll explain the ones with the most thought behind them. Inspired by this post !

this is TOTALLY Mob about Tsubomi when they were kids.

Especially with the mention of them walking to school together, which is what Mob daydreams about. Altogether his crush on her is very childlike and innocent since he's loved her since they were kids, and I think this song reflects that.

I think it also works really well with Emi, since it talks about stories so much. She compares herself to Mob at once point too, which fits the "about a boy who's just like me" line.

It's so him guys. His power is mightier than swords but it's his simple, honest words that usually win his battles.

I think this song is mostly about the singer himself, but the lyrics are just so specific and evocative that it gives me the mental image of Reigen in that one outro in season one you know.

Panic and disgust at all that carnage yet enjoyment enacting violence against those special grades.

Roughly a thousand transfigured heads rippled through the blood-soaked station, trapped in his Infinite Void, within two tenths of a second.

Then came the Prison Realm.

The cube swishing open to take its true form.

Its wrinkly red skin stretched out into an X, wires stretching out its shrunken warm colored eye dripping with blood.

His instincts screamed to turn tail and get away.

"Yo Satoru."

That waving, closed eye smile sent unsettling, too trusting tremors through him.

"Huh?"

"Long time no see."

A fake?

A transformation technique?

No … the Six Eyes burned it onto his brain.

It all came flowing into him.

Three years' worth of his youth.

Smiling at that face.

Eyes full of hope.

Taking a minute to unfold in his head.

Enough time for the Prison Realm to merge with him, jutting out of him, keeping him hanging and pinned.

"You shouldn't lose yourself in thought, in the midst of battle, Satoru."

I can't sense any cursed energy. I can't get my body to move, either. This is checkmate, huh?

"So, who the hell are you?"

"I'm Suguru Geto. Don't you remember me? How sad."

"Your body, your cursed energy … all the information provided by these eyes is telling me you're Suguru Geto. But … my soul is rejecting all that! Now answer me already! Who the hell are you!?"

"Creepy." Pulling on that near invisible thread. Lifting the top half of his head off. Revealing the mouthed alien brain; juices dripping down his face, his wide ass toothy smile pissing him off. "How could you tell?"

"That's my technique you see. I can pass from one body to another by replacing its brain with myself. Of course, I'm also able to use that technique etched into the body I inhabit. I really wanted this man's Curse Manipulation and this situation, too. You didn't have Shoko Ieiri handle the disposal of Suguru Geto's body that day, did you?"

He couldn't … he just couldn't bear it.

Watching his one and only best friend being buried … or even cremated … after all those years spent apart on opposite sides … his selfish grieving heart had to keep him.

Plopping that head cap back on, squelched noises were made, it all churned Gojo's guts.

"That was an odd time for you to show consideration. But thanks to that, I was able to obtain this body with ease."

Pulling the thread to hold its creped hold back in place.

"You needn't worry. I'll release your seal eventually. A hundred… no … maybe a thousand years from now? You're just too strong. And you're in the way of my plans."

"Hah! Have you forgotten? Who was it that beat the crap out of that body before I killed him?" His stubborn pride and confidence in his distant relative turned aspiring pupil knew no bounds.

"Yuta Okkotsu, huh? I just don't see as much appeal in that boy as you do. Copying techniques without any conditions, and a bottomless well of cursed energy … both of those were just effects obtained from binding the soul of his most beloved with a pact. Sorry to say this, but Yuta Okkotsu can never replace you."

Kenjaku.

Damn him.

"Goodnight, Satoru Gojo. We'll meet again in the new world."

His pleading hopes that his one great weakness – his greatest strength – would respond to his desperate cries to come back and end the madness were all dashed.

Betting all his hopes that Suguru was still in there somewhere, trying to break free like himself, and that someway, somehow, something blessed would arrive amiss all this cursed madness.

Yet, even as the instincts of keeping him safe ingrained in the overtaken body of his best friend surfaced just to choke his hijacked being, it was a lost cause.

Lost in the moments of the times he missed most of all.

Lost in the song of their laughter, their fights, their banter, when they could be kids and nothing else.

Being each other's strength.

Making up for what the other lacked.

Each other's missing piece.

And to have that cursed Kenjaku make him relive the hell of a life failing Suguru. Tainting his entire being. Not even in death could the suffering end for his lost and lonely other half; matching Gojo's inner suffering for over a decade long in a world without Geto.

The strongest one, the honored one, defeated by the greatest curse that is love.

Failing his moral compass, his one and only friend, who needed someone in his time of need when he fell apart over his struggling morals after witnessing the cruel truth of their world. Expected to protect those that don't deserve it. Losing those that are too pure for that horrific reality.

Unable to protect his students, allies, and friends from the onslaught of hell that came for them that bloody Halloween night.

Unable to resist the moment that monster greeted him in Suguru's voice.

Unable to save the one he loved most of all.

Three years spent trapped.

Trapped in isolating hell.

Swallowed whole in suffocating, soul crushing darkness.

The muffled voice of someone pulled him out of the murky pulls of deep slumber. The jostling shake in his being, the solid digging of fingers in his shoulders, the overwhelming heat shoving back the freezing sunken teeth of the nightmare.

The muffled sound became clear out in the open as the most familiar voice of all was yelling out his name desperately.

"Satoru!? Wake up! Come on, please!"

Rescuing him from that insufferable reality.

Awakening him in a new one.

Blinking his eyes up several times, heaving and catching his breath as he broke out into a sweat.

Non vibrant eyes darting all over as he took in everything. Late at night. The AC humming in the background. Streams of moonlight creeping in through the skinny gap of the curtains. Trickling along the hunched form of Geto over him in their shared bed, wearing a long-sleeved charcoal sleeping shirt, an all-knowing concern written all over his face.

"What was it this time?"

No stitched-up forehead.

No more lies.

Looking into those enriching, trusting eyes.

Gojo shakily breathed out, draping an arm over his eyes. "Me being sealed away."

It is him.

Really, truly, his Suguru.

Breathing.

Safe.

Free.

Gojo felt his walls collapsing.

His vulnerability surfacing.

"The price a do over gives us." Geto murmured somberly.

"Yeah." His throat constricted, his eyes watered up, gritting wrecked grunts left him as his hand enclosed in a shaking veiny fist. Trying to keep it all in, not wanting Suguru to see him falling apart over a bad dream. But the contents of said dream made him want to behold to hold Suguru and never let him go again.

Alarmed by panic, Geto leaned down immediately to lay right atop him, embracing his emotional love with his own tightening grip, shushing him insistently as his hand brushed through those lovely white locks. "It's okay. I'm here. We're both here."

Recollections of their past lives flaring up in dreams is but one of the few downsides to reincarnation in this new modern age. But shouldering that burden with another makes it less of a struggle.

"This better not be a dream." Gojo lifted his arm, revealing the pain flashing in those emotionally teary blue eyes which tore at Geto's heartstrings. "Or I swear to God," Gojo sobbingly hiccupped as he clawed at Geto's clothed back, distraught battling relief within himself as his face nuzzled into Geto's strong neck.

"It's real. All of it. And this." Geto's tender, warm firm lips pressing to his cheek felt too good to be true. "I'm real, Satoru. As are you."

Breathing in Suguru's scent to calm his irrational state of mind, easing down just hearing his name spoken in that cozy voice from the genuine article. "This is real." Whispering that mantra over and over slowly kept Gojo grounded in the here and now as it did with Geto.

Gojo's next words struck a chord within them both. "I … I'm sorry Suguru."

"What?" Geto pulled back enough to look into those normal yet breathtaking blue eyes.

"For everything. For ignoring your pain all those years. For not letting you go when I … I killed you. If it weren't for me, that bastard wouldn't have taken it over and everyone … everything … wouldn't have turned out so wrong. I ... I was never the same without you." Gojo's voice cracked, braving himself to look him right in the eye even in this harried sorry state, when a gentle peck to his lips halted his words.

Geto's almond eyes narrowed as they became murky with lament. "Don't blame yourself. I'm … sorry too. For leaving you. For not divulging all my troubles to you. I just … the weight of the world was already on your shoulders. I believed I alone could find a solution to my problems … and that of our world … even if it meant becoming the worst curse user of our age. Yet after all that time …" His smile had Gojo at a loss of breath as Geto's other hand cradled his tear-stained cheek, rubbing calming circles with his thumb. "You still trusted me to the very end. After all the damage I had caused. After I hurt you … envying your power over seeing you for the person I always knew you to be deep down inside." Geto shut his eyes, letting his own tears trail down freely, sparking from the sliver of moon beams hitting them, mesmerizing Gojo.

To him, Geto Suguru never looked more radiant.

Gojo dug his fingers in Geto's back to pull himself up enough for their faces to be a mere inch or so apart, wiping away his tears in kind. "We've both suffered. All of us did. Doomed in that world from the start. Trying to change it all our own way. Prepared to lay our lives down for that dream. And yet, here we are."

Geto chuckled in wry amusement, resting his forehead against Gojo's. "The irony of it all."

Both ready to welcome death when their times came. On the same day. Their anniversary. Only to reawaken in a whole new world, one with no cursed energy at all. No cursed spirits, no sorcerers, nothing. With everyone else coming along for the ride. And all the memories attained from their past lives. Whatever higher power intervened to bring it all to fruition, neither knew at the time whether to be thankful or resentful.

And yet … finding their grown-up selves seeing each other again in the flesh … instinctually running to each other, collapsing in each other's arms, heart ruled over reason ever since.

Such as now.

Sitting up on their legs and calves, their embrace was as cathartic as the first one shared in the pure light of a new venture. Looking into each other's eyes, the sparks of hope reigniting.

"I forgive you, Satoru." Geto gently rubbed his nose against Gojo's.

"I forgive you too, Suguru … my one and only." Gojo's endearing grin had Geto laughing softly.

"Same old Satoru."

"Of course. It's still me, after all." That cheeky smirk says it all.

"How I have missed that sight …" Geto's gaze gleamed with amour that made Gojo's heart soar. "We have a second chance. We all do."

"Let's not waste it, then." Gojo's sculpted strong hand weaved through those silky raven locks, cradling the back of Geto's head. "I'm willing to fight for this life if you are. Nightmares, memories, and all." The conviction rose to meet his newfound dream.

"I'm not going anywhere. If I must live again, I'd rather live a long life worth living … as long as it's with you." Geto's own firm resolve gave him the urge to just come out and say it.

"We are the strongest duo, after all~!"

Geto's free hand playfully wacked Gojo's white long-sleeved shoulder, chortling, "Idiot."

"You love it, though." That drawn out kiss lingered between them as their half-lidded eyes stayed connected. "Admit it."

"I do." Geto's warm breath made Gojo want to kiss him again, longer, deeper, relishing his taste.

Drowning in the overwhelming pleasure as he pulled Geto even closer by the head, wrapping an arm around his body, meshing perfectly together.

As their tongues battled for dominance, Geto pushed Gojo to lay fully down in their big welcoming bed, laying down atop him once more, parting their panting mouths, connected by a line of their saliva, burning puffs hitting each other's mouths. "I love you, Gojo Satoru. All of you."

His soul told it to be true.

"And I love you Geto Suguru … I always have. In our old life… in this one …. if it's with you, that's the only place I want to be."

"So sappy. Even for you." Geto teased.

"Hey, you're stuck with me for life. Deal with it." Gojo stuck his tongue out, feigning annoyance.

"Like I have any other choice," Geto sighed, resigning to his fate, but his smitten grin displayed how fine he is to it all. The loud yawn released from his taller lover had him cup his cheeks to give a goodnight smooch, moving to lay on his side, cozying up to Gojo. "Good dreams should await you now."

"Having you here with me is a dream come true~" Gojo purred, intertwining their legs together as he wrapped his arms around Geto's shoulders.

Geto rolled his eyes, exasperated. "God the corniness."

Gojo laughed mirthfully before kissing Geto repeatedly, speaking in between the breaks. "I mean it. I do."

Wrapping his own arms around him, Geto could relax completely knowing his dear Satoru was so happy. Thanks to him. Because of him. Return those kisses in kind, humming at how good it felt. "Well, I do too."

Embracing each other under the sheets, lulled by each other's warmth, their even breathing and synchronized heartbeats became the telltale signs that they both fell fast asleep.

The catharsis was profound.

For that night would be followed by many others.

Where dreams come to fruition.

When living peacefully was possible.

Waking up to the early morning sunrise and seeing themselves in each other's arms brought sleepy smiles to their faces, kissing soundly before snuggling even closer to each other, falling straight back to dreamland.

Lost in a moment.

Lost in a song.

Their moment.

Their song.

Of a new beginning.

Together.

(Ok yes I have to do my other fandoms but I couldn’t get this out of my head sooooo here we are again(ps anyone waiting for brother mine to update I’m sorry I’m trying😭 just can’t seem to write the chapter! But fear not bc I will!…..eventually)

So the idea is that they didn’t manage to send all the humans back to earth because some of them escaped and started their own building thing, and these are basically the RDA and they took Spider with them.

So bridgehead develops a little slower and they’re constantly having mini battles with the Navi but they don’t really become a big problem until the movie time.

So no one in the RDA really wanted to raise Spider, and they were going to dispose of him. Then they had the idea of,

Oh wait a minute, this is Quaritches kid! We can use that!

So they start training him to become the best little human soldier from the minute he can walk. The way they see it, they can train him to be perfectly adapted to survive Pandora and have him be loyal to them. Besides if it doesn’t work they can use him as insurance with Quaritch when they bring him back.

So Spider grows up, learns how to fight (clean & dirty).

Becomes a fabulous climber and can move almost silently thus earning his nickname/ code name

Has amazing aim, both natural and because of years of forced practice.

Can hold his breath longer than most people thanks to years of training him to survive incase his mask breaks.

Maybe he can speak Navi pretty well thanks to them wanting someone to be able to understand the natives so they have him watch old science logs.

He pretty smart but most ppl think he’s dumb due to his lack of most formal education.

And despite how much they try to make him into an emotionless machine, it doesn’t work, like really doesn’t work. He’s a big softy who loves to joke around. He’s kind of learned to shut it down when he’s training bc it will get him into trouble, but sometimes he can’t help but laugh his ass off.

He learns a lot from watching the logs, he’s watched the same logs of Grace and Norm and Jake over and over again, supposedly to study them and learn how to defeat the enemy. But he ends up being fascinated by all the things he learns, starts become more interested in the natural ways of Pandora (bc the RDA never bothered to assume that he wouldn’t just automatically be loyal so they didn’t really try)

Of course from the minute he was old enough to wear a mask they had him do survival training in the forest.

At first it was just day time, then it became nighttime. Eventually they stared leaving him to survived. Then they would take him somewhere and have him find his way back before he was out of oxygen.

Spider learns to love these times, to feel at peace in the forest, of course he becomes the an even better climber, learns to navigate through the trees almost silently.

Then the Recoms are brought back and it’s Spider who helps them through the forest.

When they catch the sully children spider feels bad for Tuk as she looks so little and scared. The big softy in him can’t take that.

When Neytiri attacks, Spider helps free Tuk secretly, maybe he cuts her hands free, maybe he accidentally drops his knife within her reach.

When all hell breaks lose Spider makes a run for it, still ends up falling from an branch and passing out, BUT, it’s Jake who takes him instead of Quaritch

So this time is Jake trying to get info about the RDA from Spider, not harshly bc Jake can’t bring himself to really hurt the kid.

When the Sullys run they have to take spider (who’s already starting to like them) with just to make sure the RDA can’t find him and get all the information(no matter how little) he has about where they are, also that the RDA just think he’s dead and not that the sullys have a weapon to use against them.

Spider gets begrudgingly accepted my the Metkayina thanks to be able to hold his breath, without his mask, and because he’s a pretty good fighter thanks to his training

(Eywa also May have had some influence bc he’s still her special little human)

The just loads of adapting & realising that Spider didn’t have a childhood and doesn’t know how to not act like a soldier for the most part.

Every adult seems to not be okay with this at all because children are gifts from the great mother!!

So Soldier boy Spider gets his family & a fresh start, Jake gets a human son, and Neytiri……….Neytiri gets a headache

So yeah that’s an idea I’ve had! Now that it’s out I can finally add more to my other stuff!

Moments I REALLY want to see in Flashbacked to in NYX (part 2):

(Warning…this is a LONG POST lol)

9. Laura and Hellion going to save Cessily/ Hellion’s speech on Morality 

I will admittedly LOSE MY SHIT if we don’t get a flashback of this panel!

Out of all the people that tried to reach into Laura’s morality…I would argue this moment was the MOST important.

More than Kiden. More than Logan. More than Gabby. More than ANYONE.

Julian was the FIRST person who believed Laura could be more than a weapon- even her own MOTHER often doubted Laura (which is why Henry Sutter and Megan were so important to Sarah). 

I know X-23 fans will argue it with me- but Hellion was the first person to encourage Laura to no longer kill, for her own good.

In general- I would say this issue was really important for Laura, from the fact that it taught Laura she COULD depend on other people to help her…to Julian asking Laura who she “was”…kicking off Laura’s search into self discovery…

10. Laura’s Creepy Crush on Hellion, in General 

Laura took a somewhat…possessive…FERAL interest in Julian…that we have NEVER really seen in any of her OTHER relationships….

Again, the thing I hate about Liu, is it’s totally made fans forget that Laura was the one obsessed and borderline stalking Hellion in the beginning. 

For better or worse- Laura has ALWAYS had strong reactions to Hellion. Hellion WAS for a long time Laura’s chink in the armor and it’ll be interesting to see if he still IS….

11. The KISS

Ah- the KISS. The petty childhood grievance that changed the group dynamic completely.

The moment that seemed to bring back all the Hellion/Surge/Prodigy animosity from the pre- “No More Mutants” days…

The moment where Laura realized she had the full potential to thoroughly feel emotions like jealousy.

The moment that killed David and Noriko’s relationship. 

I’d put it lower on the list of things I want to see pop up, but I would be surprised if it doesn’t at LEAST get referenced….

12. Hellion and Karima/O.N.E. Sentinel 

The moment EVERY Hellion fan remembers. The tragic rebound to Julian losing his hands and constantly being seen as the next “Magneto”. 

The moment you see just HOW MUCH the years of CONSTANT TRAUMA affected him.

The line where “child soldier” starts to show…

You CAN’T NOT have some flashback of Julian talking about wearing “robot claws” in Dr. Rao’s lab or beating Karima while ranting about what Sentinels took from him, in a story about Hellions descent. Hellion’s FALL from “X-Men” into  “Villian”.

13. THIS MOMENT

Ironically…Liu wrote my favorite Hellion/X-23 moment.

The art, Hellion’s insecurities, Laura’s line “I have missed you”, and Hellion seeing his feelings returned….it gets me every time!

It would be wrong for Laura NOT to have a flashback of it at some point.

I will 100% CRY if after first panel of Hellion reveled as “the Krakoan” to Laura…there is a flashback of her standing there…telling him “I have missed you” 😭😭😭

14. The Falling Out

What’s compelling about Laura and Julian, is how much their relationship opened up their vulnerabilities.

Hellion’s insecurities painfully bubble up throughout this entire story.

Julian admitting he felt like Laura abandoned him STILL TO THIS DAY makes me sad. Julian obviously desperately wanting SOMEONE to tell him he “did the right thing” hits me in the heart.

I will give Liu this- this story STILL packs a punch, even if I disliked the outcome of it. It WAS a well crafted arc, even if I HATE that she threw Hellion under the bus to do it.

There 100% HAS to be a flashback to “Babysitters”. It was undoubtedly the end to Laura and Hellion’s relationship, let alone friendship.

It was the beginning of their lives taking different paths.

15. The Yearbook 

I know- it’s a small moment…but I would be sad if it’s not referenced.

Some character flipping through the yearbook, or HELLION himself, and it landing on “MOST LIKELY TO BECOME AN X-MAN” after the big battle…

It’s just the perfect, most heart wrenching scene ever lol

Honorable mentions:

Hellion’s desire for “Fame and Glory”

I would love to see Hellion remember this moment- back when he was still innocent and saw superhero-dom as just a means to become famous…

Hellion’s talk with Northstar and switching Mentors

If ANY choice probably DAMNED him…it was this one lol; Emma doesn’t have a great track record of keeping students alive…

While not AS POWERFUL as “the Lunch Table” scene… it is a nice callback to how much people saw Julian as possibly “the next Magneto”…

Emma abandoning him at a hotel 

“You’re taking away everything I had”

While not the most gut wrenching moments…it’s still pretty tragic and the best story done that examined Hellion’s psyche post “No More Mutants”…

Magneto and Hellion meet 

I had a hard time NOT including this one, and this was ALMOST #15…because Kyle did SUCH a GREAT JOB at pinpointing Hellion’s pain and desire to lash out at the people he loved….

Ultimately though, I think the unmet potential of Julian being a “great hero” and his personal attachments to his old team SHOULD be mentioned and referenced than this one….

“You’re my BEST friend”

This and the moment where he calls Laura the “Bravest person I know” while talking to the Collector, gets me EVERY.time.

While it’s nice to see them both acknowledge their relationship…I think, ultimately, there is better, more tragic moments to reference….

David’s Parents Reaction to him being a Mutant

I think it WOULD be interesting to see David recall this moment, especially if he ends up SACKED…

David was always the mutant that faced a lot of judgement because he “passed”…

Hopefully we get a speech where David kind of calls out Sophie, saying that his whole life everyone has judged him because he had a more “subtle” power set….

But idk if we will see it.

Hellion’s Trophy Acceptance Speech

While not the MOST important scene… it WOULD be hysterical to get a callback to it in a panel…if nothing else, but to remember the more light hearted X-Men days….
