You didn’t know what else you could possibly do. You tried your best but it seemed like you were never going to get physics. You’d done everything; reviewed notes, studied practice problems, watched videos, but nothing seemed to improve your test scores. As you took your test, you hoped and prayed that you got at least a 75 on it, but in the back of your mind, you knew that was wishful thinking as you’d blanked on at least 6 out of the 20 questions.

A couple of days later, Mr. Aizawa handed back the tests at the end of class and as he was giving them back, he made a point to place yours upside on your test. “Fuck, that can’t be good,” you thought scared to turn it over. You couldn’t even muster the courage to look at it during class, so you stuffed the paper into your backpack and returned to your room.

After winding down for a bit, you decided you needed to bite the bullet and look at your score. I literally studied for 15 hours for this exam, what more could I have done?” you thought, feeling absolutely defeated. You threw the paper to the ground, trying not to think of the score. Tears started to well up in your eyes, but you did your best to hold them back. There was no way you were going to cry; it was Friday and all you wanted to do was relax and forget all about physics. You headed to the kitchen to make a bowl of spicy ramen, your favorite, in order to pick your mood up. But just like all the studying you’d done for your test, this didn’t help improve the situation either. You put extra hot sauce in your ramen, hoping the spice would distract you, and you went to the living room to eat.

Luckily the room was empty, so you’d be able to have some peace and quiet with your ramen. You scrolled through TikTok a bit, but something about being alone and the silence just made the thoughts in your head louder and you couldn’t hold back your tears anymore. You just felt so defeated. There truly felt there was nothing else you could possibly do and your scores just kept getting lower and lower.

You’d tried so many different study methods and resources that you weren’t even sure what you could even try next. You were crying for about 10 minutes before Izuku, who had come to the kitchen to make himself a quick snack, finally heard you and came into the living room to comfort you.

He tried his best to assure you, but as kind and compassionate as he was, it still didn’t make you feel better because, in reality, you were still failing physics. There was no amount of comforting pep talks that could change your grade. With a sigh, you say, “Thank you Izuku for trying to cheer me up, but I think I’m just gonna head to bed and maybe try to study tomorrow.” You wipe the tears from your eyes and get up from the couch.

“No problem, just let me know if there’s anything I can do to help you out okay? Just text me,” Izuku said giving you a hug. You walked off, head looking at the ground so no one would see how red your eyes were. You just wanted to get to your room as quickly as possible and attract no attention; you didn’t want to talk to anyone. You were in such a rush, you didn’t even realize how Katsuki was standing in the kitchen.

You came back to your room and flopped on your bed, crying into your pillow, when you heard your phone buzzing, You reached underneath your pillow to grab your phone and to your surprise, Katsuki had sent you a text.

“JJ?” She stood, reaching to put a hand on his back, but he flinched. “Hey, it’s okay. I’m okay. Let’s just go back to John B’s, alright? We both need sleep.” JJ stayed silent, but agreed. He took Y/n's good hand and they walked to his bike.

The chateau was empty when the two arrived, which was beginning to be a normal occurrence. Y/n began to drag JJ into the bathroom to clean his wounds, but the boy insisted they just go to sleep.

When Y/n woke up the next morning, JJ wasn’t in the bed next to her. She listened for a moment, hearing the tab of a beer can open on the porch. Y/n climbed out of bed, sliding on some sandals before joining JJ on the porch. 

“Hey,” her voice was hoarse as she rubbed his back. “How’d you sleep?” JJ didn’t say anything, just shrugged. It was obvious that something was bothering him.

“J, what’s going on? You’ve been acting weird since yesterday. You know you can talk to me.” 

“Yeah, N/n. I know that, and I’m so grateful to have you, okay? It’s just..”

“Just what?” 

“I’ve been thinking, and I don’t think we should be together anymore.” 

Y/n's breath hitched. 

“What? Why? Did I do something? If I did something, please let me know because I can fix it, okay?” 

“N/n, you didn’t do anything. In fact, it’s what I didn’t do.”

Y/n tilted her head in question. 

“I couldn’t save you, okay?! I tried and tried but he got to you too, and if we stay together, you could get hurt again, or worse, and I can’t handle that, N/n! I can’t live knowing I’m putting you in danger.” 

Y/n's lip quivered and tears welled in her eyes. She couldn’t believe that the boy she loved so much thought he was the one who hurt her. JJ looked at her, two pairs of teary eyes meeting each other. JJ sighed, turning his back and rubbing his neck. 

“JJ, I am with you through everything. That is what I signed up for when I agreed to this relationship. I do not care who your father is. I do not care what shit I have to put myself through to see you alive and well. I love you and I always will. I am with you because I choose to be. Don’t you believe in us? No matter what shit life throws our way.” Tears were flowing freely down both of their faces now and Y/n's voice was cracking even more. “I do not care that I got hurt, because I am fine.” All JJ could see were the marks on her wrist and neck as he tried to listen to her words. He wanted to believe her, and Y/n could see he was trying. 

“What…What if you get hurt again? What do I do then, N/n?” His voice cracked and it broke Y/n's heart. 

“I don’t know, J, because it's hypothetical. I don’t know what’s going to happen to us in the future, but I do know I want to be with you through it all.” 

JJ was silent for a moment before he stepped forward and wrapped his arms lightly around her neck. Y/n sighed in relief and wrapped her arms strongly around his waist. JJ held her as if it was the last time he ever would, but he prayed to whatever god there was that it wouldn’t be.

Okay so I was kind of rushing when I made that post so this is a certified "me when I spread misinformation" moment. My bad

Terfs didn't invent bi lesbianism. That was a whole thing in the early feminist movement where bisexuals didn't get recognized, blah blah blah, myself and other people smarter than me have spoken about it at length.

What I have seen is within more modern times, terfs online refering to lesbians who date trans women and nonbinary sapphics (but mostly trans women) as bisexual lesbians, refusing to validate their lesbianism and saying that they're actually bisexual. It is more niche and it will be hard to find, but I have seen this happen.

Begging for headcannons on phoebe Fraggle I love trope of anxiety ball with ball of energy too plz I need more!!!!!!

Since I haven’t posted anything with this OC yet here’s an update to anyone who doesn’t know who Phoebe is: Phoebe is my Fraggle OC, she’s Boober’s little sister and is basically his mirror opposite

This ask is actually great cuz it gives me a chance to flesh out her character a bit more! 

-So like I mentioned in an older post where I first brought up Phoebe, I picture her as a kid. I’m still deciding an age but I picture her no younger as 6 and no older then 10. I personally like to hc Boober as autistic, and Phoebe is the same. Phoebe is intensely interested in plants and insects, which often limits her ability to make friends with other Fraggles her age. She hops about and shakes her arms when especially excited and (like Boober) has strong reactions to certain odors. Despite her and Boober squabbling a lot thanks to their differing personalities they understand each other’s needs very well

-Phoebe doesn’t have many Fraggle friends her age, so she tries to tag along with Boober and his friends when they go on big adventures. She’s often told to stay home because she’s too little to be doing all the stuff they do - so often she’s left to her own devices to entertain herself. Sometimes this can lead to her unintentionally wondering off without realising, until a panicked Boober starts yelling for her 

-She hasn’t been to the Gorgs garden, she’s banned from going anywhere near there since she’s still a kid, so she loves to listen to Mister Matt’s stories of outer space, or Gobo’s tales from the Gorg’s garden. Though she thinks Mister Matt is cool, she gets annoyed when he too underestimates her because she’s little 

-She eventually does go to ‘outer space’ and meet Lottie, where the two then become best friends. Phoebe continues to visit Lottie as often as she can which sometimes means lying to her brother so she can slip away when he’s not looking. I’ve got a good story idea in mind for how they first meet (Boober and his friends didn’t believe Phoebe when she said she met a ‘silly creature’ - aka a person. And the band thought Lottie’s Fraggle friend was an imaginary friend), and I have been thinking about the idea of Phoebe eventually leaving Fraggle Rock when she’s older to join Lottie on an expedition around the world 

-Phoebe loves swimming! It’s my own personal Headcannon that when Fraggles are babies they float like otters do, until they’re big enough to swim and dive under the water. Phoebe has a tendency to float on water if she stays still, and sometimes she’ll just…float away, as in she’ll go wherever the water takes her. Red is currently teaching her how to swim 

-Out of all of Boober’s friends she’s closest with Red and Wembley the most. Wembley is often hanging around with Boober so Phoebe has gotten used to him popping over to Boober’s cave. She likes Wembley’s funny shirts and giggles when the others have to spin Wembley upside down to stop his wembling. She’ll actively ask to be held upside too. 

And she likes Red because she’s basically like a cool older sister to her, also because Red is teaching her how to swim properly. Red is daring and adventurous, she may also like all the free adoration Phoebe gives her so she lets Phoebe hang out with her when Boober’s busy 

-She likes it when she finds small places to hide, especially if it’s a small tunnel that’ll lead her to another cave. She likes finding secret nooks and crannies that no other Fraggle can reach 

-She’s superstitious. She considers the bow in her hair to be lucky, and will get very distressed if she can’t find it (she also can’t see well if her hair isn’t tied back)

-She prefers cold weather to hot weather 

-She likes to hang by her tail. I think it’d be cool if Fraggles could use their tails to hang/steady themselves on things, sorta like how some animals do. Sometimes when Boober returns home he will be greeted by Phoebe hanging from the top of the cave. She also uses her tail to help with climbing since she’ll wrap it around vines or parts of rock 

-Doesn’t like sour foods

dave is the easiest to talk abt so lemme start w him: dave is your local trans uncle of the heathcliffs! super kind, super funny, just your average joe (or average dave i guess). his happy persona, however, is partly a facade to lead people into thinking he's completely fine. everything started crumbling for him once the alternates took mark away, but he just tried denying it and went on with life.

then sarah started getting extremely aggressive and didnt talk to him for a good few years. he ignored that too. he ignored thatcher's growing alcohol problems as well as his overall declining mental state. and he even started ignoring when six would randomly stop by to torment him for fun, just trying to get him out by always using the excuse of "i'm recording, don't disturb me". the nail hit the coffin when puppet stopped by and told him "hey, you havent seen ruth a lot lately have you?" and dave realizes she's in danger. how could he have been so neglectful and ignorant of reality that he didn't even notice one of his best friends is missing and she's most likely hurt in some way?

ruth comes next: ruth as i said in the previous post grew up in a house life in which all her family members and old friends thought of her to look like your typical submissive woman. because of this, she adopted some submissive tendencies, especially her fawning and people pleasing. however, she grew up to be a strong, kind, confident woman who takes initiative in her life... at least, while she's a police officer.

she doesnt show it much but she is definitely a people pleaser. she'll do whatever it takes to not be left behind. she's especially fearful or either thatcher or dave leaving the county due to the alternates and that they'd leave without her (which never happened thankfully). her fawning definitely came into play once she realized the thatcher she was keeping in her home was an alternate, one who she met back in '92 when she was investigating the murray house.

she does eventually escape her situation but not without passing out in the middle of nowhere due to being stabbed before booking it out of her house. thankfully, eden found her and took her to a hospital. she reunited with the real thatcher there, but she still feared being around someone who looked like the thing that had taken advantage of her kindness and made her suffer with the psychological scars that he gave her.

boy started out as a favorite of gabriel's, the supposed "perfect copy" type of alternate that he had wanted for so long. he turned out to be some freak obsessed with replacing thatcher so much he'd literally overthrow gabriel just to do it and even keep ruth alive for his sadistic wants.

he at first thought he was experiencing the emotions of love, compassion, genuine concern, etc. he however twisted it into a manipulative, degrading charm to keep ruth from running from him. he also liked to give her the nickname "fawn" because of her fawning tendencies. he also even carved sketches of angel wings into her back to make her look more "pure and holy, like an angel should be" which absolutely terrified her since she was a woman of faith.

but ruth wasn't his only victim: as i mentioned before he's fucked around w/ dave before, and he mainly messed with thatcher (usually while he was so drunk he wouldn't even remember what happened or be aware of his surroundings).

he uuhhh also has a tendency of not wanting to stand in the corner f your room and wait for you to do something but will grab the nearest item and kill you with it? which is not alternate protocol in the unholy gift universe FGBHNJM

this all starts to upset gabriel, who even favors ruth due to an encounter he had with her where she pretended to die to escape puppet in the murray house. he tries telling him to get on the fridge but he throws gabriel onto the fridge instead basically FGHNJM

Zayn and Liam have both been partnering with that Harry Potter game app, and laying on the Harry Potter fandom bs thick. Like, out of nowhere.

Obviously JK Rowling is financially benefiting from this - and it’s not like Z & L are promoting this from the goodness of their own hearts. They’re getting paid to promote it. They’re choosing to financially benefit from a partnership with a woman who doesn’t believe trans women are women, which is fucked up and disgusting. There are plenty of articles out there about her. Google her name + terf (trans exclusionary radical feminist). Please don’t go straight to her essay she wrote - if you’re unfamiliar with terf rehtoric it might seem reasonable to you. That’s on purpose. They’re insidious.

I’m not British so maybe someone who is can add their two cents on feminism in the UK, but trans exclusionary sentiments are running strong, and it’s affecting the real lives of trans folks. Recently, a law was passed that prevents kids under 16 to access puberty blockers without a court order. This is incredibly harmful. Blockers are lifesaving medical treatment.

The fact that Liam and Zayn are both choosing to support Harry Potter makes how they feel about trans fans pretty clear. I’ve been pretty pissed about it for a while, especially since it started right when JKR published her essay and really doubled down on her violent opinions. I just saw another fucking ad from Zayn on my dash and snapped I guess.
