RE: keeper polyglot abilities REAL. i am also immensely jealous of it bc it has SO MUCH PRACTICAL APPLICATION... it would definitely be interesting if it worked for fictional languages!! i would hope so but also feel that it might rely very heavily on whether the language was constructed with grammatical/phonetic structure and not in the... sense? direction? of just being "foreign noises"? but on the other hand i would also laugh if she was able to understand simlish or whatever it's called

okay okay okay top ten detective conan things? what do u like most, what do you like to write about/think about, who's your favourite character, that kind of thing

I'm not sure it's actually gonna be in order but whatever

1) In case it wasn't obvious I love Kaitou KID. He's an absolute little shit and each time he smirks I'm like "oh no". I have a stupid crush on this idiot. He's so fucking dramatic. My rewatch of detective conan ended up in a "let's rewatch all the movies with KID and then we'll catch up with the rest".

This is his first appearance but he's still a dumb teenager

2) I miss the style of early Conan it was so so good, around when the FBI arrived I think it's when it started to really change and I found it sad. Conan little round face. Full of unbridled rage. All his littles expressions.

3) Speaking of early Conan he had such a strong gremlim energy. Like sure Shinichi as well but Conan had no limits. He got turned into a kid and decided it was going to be everyone else problem.

4) The manga is getting way too long and while I understand it's probably partly due to editorial decisions and the fact it is somewhat due to the kind of manga it is, the fact it's both trying to have a plot and stay plotless is starting to get tiring, plus we are starting to have a bit too many characters to care about,,, gimme back the original crew, I feel like we haven't seen Sonoko or Kogoro in ages.

5) For some reasons I just don't like Eisuke. No particular reason I just don't like him djdjdjd. Also for the longest time I only knew of him from fics and was expecting him to look different and when he appeared in the manga I was like shockedpikachu.png.

6) Idk I'm just rambling at this point. When I got back into the fandom I started with reading fics for a while before reading the manga and I shipped KaiShin a lot then. But after reading the manga I was like, ShinRan is so perfect and beautiful together. I love them so much. And I guess in a way KaiShin has lost some of his luster to me now djdjdj even though I still love their relationship in a platonic kind of way.

7) The latest case with the kidnapped kid is so fucking dumb,,,,, I'm like, that's not even suspension of disbelief at this point,,,,,,, I understand they want to put forward Amuro/Rei and his police friend who all died because Rei is one of the fandom favourite but also, that's why flashback and spin-off exists.

8) I still have a very soft spot in my heart for the Detective Conan one-shot I wrote about Haibara being able to say goodbye to her sister. Related but I love how Akemi's death and the Moonlight Sonata case stuck with Conan. How they influenced his character, and they're some of my favourite cases overall because we get to see how he deal with "failure", how human he is.

9) Desperate revival arc my beloved. The scene in the cave where he got Shot and the detective boys are all trying to get him out and bring him to safety and Conan still trying to guide them but passing out and aaaaaaaahhhh I just loved this so much. Another passage I really like is the halloween party where there's like Heiji disguised as Shinichi disguised as a Mummy. As a rule I just love the use of disguises. The theatre where Haibara was disguised as Conan and Heiji as a poorly done Shinichi and Shinichi as the black knight 10/10

10) I also love the way Aoyama draw when Shinichi feels his heart going when he turns back into Conan. It's just. *chef kiss*.

Some of them are more fleshed out than others but we're in the beginning phase(read: I came up with this yesterday and have been thinking about it nonstop but it's still only been a day) so I can figure some more stuff out

- pokemon legends arceus crossover very much inspired by @/waywardstation's Papa Ingo(Pingo) AU bc uh. Shoves my favorites together. This one is very very vague and not much more than a concept rn but. That's okay

- Noah lives AU where he decides "fuck you dad I'm gonna take these two in as my little brothers just to stick it to you" that I need to rewrite bc I started it before I finished Noah's arc(and I still haven't finished the damn arc lmao) and it Doesn't Work. That said I did change the ages around a little so Noah makes sense as an older brother because it's MY fic and I get to decide what parts of canon I pick and choose

- Hologram Noah AU because I like redemption and it's a massive shame that this guy isn't gonna get one :( basically instead of actually dying or whatever idk I haven't got there yet, Noah fakes his death and is hiding in the KaibaCorp computers n stuff. But a tech person notices that he's there and he freaks out bc "oh god oh fuck they're gonna delete me" so he pretty much just goes to Seto like "HEY I KNOW I DID SOME FUCKED UP THINGS IN THE PAST BUT I DON'T DESERVE TO DIE RIGHT?? PLEASE HELP" and Seto begrudgingly agrees and ends up making a hologram body for him and they slowly become a family :) there's also plenty of angst here don't you worry lmao

uhm i had a lot of weird dreams honestly but i dont remember them vividly anymore, except for this one dream. for some reason, i dreamed of my crush. i never really imagined we could go on a date together, but it happened just in my dream (sighs). so we were in this amusement park, you know we did those stuff like going on some rides, buying food here and there, taking pictures and talking about random stuff while enjoying every moment we had. until like an hour later, i got exhausted so he told me to like rest up for a while. we went to somewhere peaceful and sat there to take a break. i then there fell asleep. until like idk, he woke me up with extreme worry on his face. so i went like “what’s wrong?”

yep. teddy bears . i guess i got this dream bc at the time, i got a lil into five nights at freddy’s djdjdjd. so uh yeah i panicked. he panicked. we both panicked. we started running as the teddy bears staryed chasing us. we tried to hide somewhere until a teddy bear saw me and was about to attack me until out of nowhere, he was ??? holding a frying pan ??? like where did he get it ??? lmao and then the teddy bear flew across so we had time to escape.

okay fast forward, turns out some evil scientist dude was the one who made it and plan to destroy the earth. then my crush found a way to defeat him (wow my hero uwu 💘💞💗) so basically he saved the day, all tedsy bears were shut down and went back to being just stuffed toys.

at the end of the day, we ate bc of how tired we were and tried to uplift the mood into a positive one and just u know, went back to talking random stuff and to our date. and we loved happily ever after the eND

so at first, we only started talking because we were in a class together where he was basically the only person i knew and the thing about him. is that he’s SUPER nice like idk how but he’s so?? kind?? he’s really soft too and idk he’s just so sujdjfjd and he’s also really funny so we just sort of clicked if that’s what you can call it. we actually started talking more because of our mutual friend, and it took me like a month to realize that i actually liked him djdj

so when i found out i liked him i told our mutual friend and she was like “u guys would be SO cute wow!!” and i was like uwu. but the whole time i was getting to know the guy i like, i had a feeling he had a crush on our mutual friend? and then a few days later she texted me and was like “listen,,, i really didn’t want this to happen but he? kind of told me he likes me? and is trying to get over me?” and i was like. disappointed but not surprised you feel?

but he’s SO NICE and SO CUTE right so i was like this crush is hopeless but IT! WON’T! GO AWAY!! PLS. and so i was like. friends i can do that right. so we’re still friends right but he’s that friend who always wants to talk to you and i’m like… uwu but also leav e me to wallw in misery u know!! esp because i know he still has feelings left over 4 our mutual friend

anyways the point of this story is that i have no chance! and the guy i have a crush on has had a crush on my best friend for as long as i’ve liked him!
