Dream come True

Y/n met Timmy when they were cast as the leading roles in the new movie ‘Wonka’ telling the origin story of the famous Chocolatier Willy Wonka and they hit it off right away. They spent nearly every day together between takes talking about movies, literature and food, they would debate art and history, Timmy was intelligent and had a certain view of the world she had never seen in anyone else her age. He was sensitive and had passion, he was also very giving with his fans, he would stand and talk to them and listen to them. It was during Covid so he couldn’t get too close to anyone on the outside, which meant the only people they both saw was the rest of the cast and each other.

She stayed with him when he came back to work after his grandmother passed away as he lay in her arms breaking his heart. They had become close.

When Covid ended and he was able to do press finally for Dune, she sent him a quick message to wish him good luck and he replied with a heart emoji.

Now it was 2023 and they were finally able to do a bit of press for Wonka together, they were excited to talk about this project finally, everyone adored them together and the internet was shipping them together already, but of course he had already been spotted out with Kylie Jenner. Much to y/n’s disapproval, she didn’t like the girl but she had no right to tell Timmy who he should be dating. It wasn’t her business.

Timmy noticed how y/n would become distant with him whenever they were together and Kylie showed up, he didn’t like it. He hated not having y/n around him, he knew she and Kylie had a history long ago but he didn’t think she would completely distance herself from him. After his beloved grandmother passed away she was like his rock keeping him anchored as he drowned in his grief, now that Kylie was constantly around him, she wasn’t. And it was making him antsy, so much so in fact when she bailed out of one of their many press interviews for Wonka everyone around him could tell he was agitated because y/n wasn’t by his side. She claimed she had fallen unwell and lost her voice from all the talking and was taking a break.

When she came back he was fine again and back to his usual chatty goofy self.

When it came closer for the world premiere for Wonka in LA Timmy’s management came to him and said Kylie would be joining him on the red carpet for at least two of the premiers and he sighed burying his face in his hands.

He heard through the wall in the next suite y/n going crazy after hearing the news.

‘Is she that fucking desperate for attention that she needs to go to a premier for a children’s movie?! Talk about fucking creep factor! Will she be in the Chanel commercial too, or is this the only thing of Timothée’s she wants to destroy with her existence?’

She was so upset and furious. She sent Kylie a text telling if this movie flopped because of her, she would make her life a living Hell then turned off her phone. She told her publicist to send for her car, she was done with the whole tour and she was going home.

She saw Timmy’s agent in the hallway looking at her with regretful eyes and stormed past his shoulder. ‘I hope this little act was worth the money, she’s going to destroy his career he’s worked so hard for.’ She walked to the elevator and left without saying goodbye to any of the cast or to Timmy.

Timmy had been doing publicity work when he heard about y/n leaving and walking away from the rest of the tour and was devastated.

But when the night of the premiere arrived and y/n was nowhere to be seen he asked around thinking maybe she was just running late, but when his publicist told him with a nervous air that y/n had pulled out of coming to the premier as well as the tours Timmy went pale feeling himself falling back.

He felt Hugh and Olivia grab his arms lowering him into the chair as someone went to get him a glass of water, he buried his face between his legs as he felt his chest tighten.

He needed y/n here, he needed to see her face when the noise got to much for him she was the only one who could calm his nerves with her soothing words. She wasn’t happy about Kylie he knew that, she told him countless times that he could do so much better than her, he deserves so much better than her.

It was always her though, Timmy realised as he drank his water.

The premier came and went he did the whole arm around Kylie looking in love charade, when really he couldn’t stand her. The longer he looked at her the more his stomach turned. How had he not seen how fake this woman was, how vapid! No wonder he couldn’t think straight after being with her, it wasn’t lust his brain cells were dying, gasping out for some sort of stimulation.

No wonder after every conversation with Kylie he would call y/n to just to contradict her about something she said just to rile her up and have a healthy debate with her.

After the premier he ditched Kylie and locked himself in his hotel room and tried to call y/n but the phone just rang out, so he tried to message her and it said her phone was now switched off. He tried to Skype her on his laptop but that was disconnected. He slammed his laptop down getting annoyed, if she thought she could ignore him and he would just leave her alone she was wrong. He changed into his sweats and his hoodie with his baseball cap and grabbed his car keys before sneaking out of the hotel.

He knew where she lived, he remembered her telling him how she had inherited her grandfather’s ranch where she grew up as a little girl. It was out in the California countryside, a place surrounded by beautiful trees and mountains. It was still light for some reason, LA he guessed rolling his eyes. He drove along the road and he knew he was getting close when the desert become more leafy and he was suddenly surrounded by autumn trees, he smiled and came to farmlands and turned into a beautiful driveway dusted with fallen leaves and fenced off grasslands for the horses to graze on, he looked out his window and saw the stunning backdrop of mountains and and greenery.

He parked outside the house and got out of his car. His fancy wheels looked stupid in these surroundings. He looked around in amazement taking everting in, from the fresh air around him to the house and the huge mountains in the background and the horses grazing in the fields beyond. He couldn’t believe he was still in California. Maybe, Montana or somewhere in Arizona.

He understood why y/n loved this place so much, what happy memories she must have made here with her grandparents, he turned as he heard the door open and out she stepped looking at him. Dear God she was stunning, he had saw her all glammed up and he saw her all messy and covered in chocolate and mud and he had even saw her in her pyjamas when he showed up at her hotel room late one night, but he had never saw her like this.

She was wearing a pair of old torn jeans, covered in some sort of white stuff like powder, she must have been baking, and an off the shoulder knit sweater and her light brown hair was in a messy side braid. Her bangs were whipping around her face, as she walked up to him shoving her hands in her pockets.

‘Timmy? What are you doing here? I thought you would be at the after party?’

‘I’m sorry, I am so so sorry. I was a total dick to you!’ He blurted out before he could stop himself and she blinked at him.

He looked around, spreading his arms wide ‘This just proves my theory!’

She smiles stepping closer to him ‘What theory is that?’

‘That you’re definitely an angel, because this,’ he gestures around him. ‘This is Heaven!’

She smiles watching him look around him.

‘I could see myself spending my out my life here,’ he looked her in the eyes ‘With you. I could see me spending my life here with you.’

She takes a deep breath looking at him. ‘Is that what you came all the way out here to tell me?’

‘No, actually I drove out here to confront you about ignoring me tonight and argue with you. Tell you, Plato was an idiot and the Yankees suck ass!’

She glared before raising her eyebrow looking at him ‘And now?’

He sighed shoving his hands in his pockets ‘Well I can’t very well yell at you now.’

‘The Yankees are a great team by the way.’

He scoffed rolling his eyes and she raised her eyebrows. ‘Because the Knicks did so great this season?’

‘Hey! They did their best okay!’

‘My ass they did their best!’ She turned and walked back towards the house and he followed her immediately almost automatically.

He closed the door behind him and stepped inside the cozy house and looked around, there were family photos of different generations scattered along the wall, he saw a picture of y/n in her graduation robes holding her diploma.

‘What did you study?’

‘Before becoming an actor I wanted to work with animals. So I studied veterinary science.’

‘Wow.’ He muttered under his breath as he looked at all of the family photos and saw a picture of a young girl on a horse holding a large trophy.

‘Hey who’s the little girl on the horse with the trophy?’ He called to her in the kitchen.

‘Oh that’s me. I came in first place in the equestrian event. My papa was so proud that he was actually crying.’ She came back with two bottles of his favourite beer and handed him one, smiling at the photos. He watched her closely as he sipped his beer ‘What was your grandfather like?’

She looked at him and smiled ‘You’re the first person to ever ask me what he was like.’

He smiled and waited. ‘He was always smiling, always singing. He liked putting the radio and dancing with grandma around the kitchen. He taught me how to dance too.’ She looked up at Timmy smiling before frowning ‘When grandma died he was never the same again, I think a little bit of him died when she did. The thing that killed him most, I think was that none of the family came to the funeral. I skipped school and took a bus using my lunch money to go. All the other families from the neighbouring ranches came but her own children didn’t come. I moved in here after graduation, I told my parents to stay away, invited my grandpa instead. Haven’t spoken to them since his funeral eight years ago.’

She sighed as Timmy listened intently without interrupting. He knew she had been keeping this bottled up for years. All of the love and pride she felt for her grandparents, the hurt and the shame of her family not paying their respects and her total determination with her loyalty towards her grandparents. No wonder the old man left his entire life to his granddaughter. She was the only who cared enough to stay.

‘I’m sorry y/n.’ He wrapped his arm around her shoulder to comfort her.

‘Your parents sound like assholes. If you don’t mind me saying.’

She shook her head closing her eyes and smirked ‘Not at all. You’re right on the dot. They are assholes. When I made it to the big time they contacted me, wanting to ‘make amends’ I told them to go fuck themselves. After how they treated my grandparents I’m not interested.’

She turned to him and buried her head in his chest wrapping her arms around his waist ‘You’re actually the first person I’ve ever told that story.’

He was shocked as he wrapped his arms around her back he had heard she wasn’t the most trusting person. In fact he heard rumour about how hard she was to work with, she wasn’t good at taking orders and she barely spoke to anyone on set. But Timmy had seen her with fans, she would spend ages with the kids and the elderly, she always made sure was allowed the same lunch hour the actors had. She remembered the names of crew members asking one how their daughter enjoyed her first day of school, she even asked one of his grandmother was getting better.

He took her over to the couch and sat down with her holding her close as she lay against his chest.

He would break it off with Kylie, he didn’t care if he had to pay a big fine for terminating the contract, it would be worth it if he could be with y/n.

The fact that he could already hear the echo of their children running around the house and eventually their grandchildren, was huge. He never envisioned his future with anyone before. But with y/n, he saw himself spending the rest of his life on this ranch with this kind, beautiful woman and one day their children.

Y/n looked up seeing Timmy lost in thought and reached up to kiss his jaw, ‘penny for your thoughts?’

He looked down at her and blinked at feeling her lips on his skin ‘I don’t want to freak you out or scare you.’

She reached up and kissed his jawline again ‘You won’t, please tell me.’

‘I was thinking about our future. A-and I was picturing our children and our grandchildren running all about this house.’

He blushed and looked down and she sat on his lap lifting his face to make him look at her. ‘Are we married or do we live like hippies?’ She smiled and pecked his lips before he deepened the kiss leaning forward. ‘No, we’re definitely married until we’re old and grey, and calling the cops on each other because we can’t remember who the other one is.’ She laughed against his lips at his strange narrative of their future, she pulled away before standing and taking his hand to guide him upstairs to her bedroom.

They didn’t know what tomorrow would bring, but they were ready for whatever would be thrown their way. They met on a movie based on following your dreams, and they ended up being each other’s dream come true!

elriels seem completely incapable of making any arguments for their ship on a meta level. like all of their arguments always rely on picking apart the text in a very literal manner, misrepresenting the text out of context, or just straight up biased takes on what the characters are thinking/desire (like idc what elain wants.... she's a character walking in whatever direction SJM wants). never in all my time lurking have i seen a single compelling meta argument from them outside of "elriel has already been set up", and "it would make no sense to casual readers if elriel didn't happen", and my favorite outright false claim that they love, "sjm said the series is about the archeron sisters".

idk how they champion so hard for a ship that they can't even make a good narrative argument for--because it doesn't make any sense from a storytelling perspective and they either know it or are too ignorant on the technicalities of writing a novel to understand that.

they take people's arguments like mine (saying idc what elain wants) and misdirect people's attention by calling it misogyny or whatever other stupidity they spew, and COMPLETELY miss the point everyone's making that it's not that we "don't care about elain" and "hate elain" but that we understand that narratives need to have a little something called dramatic irony, which only exists if characters are in opposition in some way (elain resisting the mating bond).

elain is not a victim of people's misogyny, she's a fictional character who some people would find less interesting if her endgame romance was as simplistic as "she likes azriel so she's going to end up with azriel", and all the drama for the book has to come from outside factors like Rhys keeping them apart... and... what? Breaking the mating bond before they can be together? Even though they already were happily going to touch each other seemingly without any regard to the mate bond/lucien being around? The book would be as big of a disaster as CC3 because it would rely completely on external plots... but that's just my biased opinion on a different topic, anyway.

It just doesn't make sense and it would be completely random for them to end up together, narratively. I know they argue the opposite but they just can't back it up with any logical arguments. I think that's why it confuses me that there are so many of them... i guess lotssss of people really read at a very surface level depth

Agreed about their theories. They also never make sense to me and seem to be based more on vibes than anything else. I could see how, to some people, their aesthetic can be appealing, but personally, I don't enjoy soft girl/bad boy trope. But it doesn't matter much since it's about what sjm enjoys and gravitates towards... and the whole point of the series is LIKE CALLS TO LIKE. It's about choosing a partner to match your energy, to help you meet your fullest potential.

We HAVE enough evidence to say that Azriel wouldn't let Elain do much about her powers. He speaks for her. He wants to duel her mate, which shows us he doesn't understand her on a deeper level. Elain also couldn't help Azriel heal and get better mentally. He wouldn't share his darkness with her. He doesnt plan any future together.

Is that the forbidden romance they are fighting so hard for? Lucien is so far away, respecting her boundaries. Rhys has already promised to keep Elain safe if she decided to reject the bond. So, who would they be fighting? What's forbidden about it?

You are so right that it reads very surface level. Their possible plot seems to be rejecting the bond, and what else ???? Koshei is connected to Lucien and BOE. So they would completely destroy Lucien and their connection to human lands. He will not just get over it and be with Vassa (lol). Mating bonds are a serious business. ONLY THE IMPORTANCE AND INEVITABILITY OF MATING BONDS HAD 4 BOOKS OF BUILD-UP. Not their ship.

Idk what to think about Looney tunes- I really hope it's great qwq when I found out about the re-boot I started watching it and I LOVED IT!!! let me preface this by saying: i GET what people see in zimbits. from the angle of the wholesome ending, sure, absolutely. let them be cute together if it sparks joy for you.

howEVER, i personally am a big fan of jack's angsty side. it's what drew me to the comic (it's even what made me want to see zimbits initially), and i am jack zimmermann's biggest fan for the sole reason that he is a mess of a person. the jack that intrigued me would be a HORRIBLE first boyfriend for bitty. because you are right, bitty's inexperience is a huge factor in this.

i read jack as being trapped in this perpetual cycle of isolation and over-attachment. he had his thing with kent, then isolated himself for many years, then came out of his shell at samwell and immediately grafted himself onto bitty's hip. at the same time, he also demands bitty to keep their relationship secret. bitty, who just came out to his teammates 1.5 years ago, comes from a conservative homophobic environment and has, as far as we're told in the comic, not had any great dating experiences while at samwell (which could be its own entire post, stay tuned ig)

as the biggest jack zimmermann fan under the sun, i am convinced that bitty -- yes bitty -- deserves better. i used to run a queer youth group in my area and there's a lot of young queer folks out there who come from conservative backgrounds and take YEARS to unlearn all the internalized bullshit, find out who they even are, and only then are really able to properly integrate themselves into their queer community. bitty, from what we see in the comics, never really goes through any of this process.

so getting together with the first closet case he can find (after having that guy yell at him for a year, then living for a year in fear of crushing on a straight guy) just kind of makes me feel bad for him. if we're taking what the comic gives us at face value, i don't think they're that good for each other.

i would LOVE to have seen the process of them figuring it out, then i probably would've been more on board with the ship, but the comic was never going to have the means to deal with all of this, so it just falls flat for me. personally. i see what the comic was getting at, it just didn't do it for me. it doesn't scoop me up, as we say in german. Best drama love stories? Two characters who will move heaven and earth for each other? Who convince you true love exists by just how much they adore one another?

So I've been thinking about this anon. An upon consideration, the questions you asked are very different things to me!

The drama love stories which truly convince me that maybe true love does exist by just how much they adore one another, by how much I can understand & feel the mutual bond between them... are not necessarily the characters in dramas who I see "moving heaven & earth" for each other.

Why? I guess because in my mind, it's 1 thing to go to extremes when your back is up against the wall and everything is falling apart - because when adrenaline is flowing and heroics are called for, yes it's very dramatic and exciting to jump off that cliff together. Humans get very hyped up and extra like that. But that doesn't necessarily make me think of true love. To me, true love isn't a dramatic act of sacrifice that a stressed & despairing person is driven to, through circumstances beyond their control. It's not the story of the worst months of a person's life and the person they are desperately clinging to as external factors torment them. True love is a connection, tactic understanding, a partnership. It's living for someone and every moment feeling better & brighter because that person experiences it with you; experiencing beautiful moments with someone when living your lives as a pair. A person who makes ordinary life into something extraordinary.

Don't get me wrong: I love dramatics and big hero moments and badass rescues and also my red flag romantic lead!. All of that are some of my fav dramas. But they don't often give me that feeling of wow, I believe in love again, fuck I'm too single right now. and then I'm back on the dating apps.

So I'm going zero in here on some couples who gave me that rush. Ships who have a lot of messy, harsh conflict, or are too surreal for me to personally relate to (like being in love with a god) won't be included.

Fake It Til You Make It - a squee-inducing relationship between adult professionals that feels real and obtainable. This is the relationship I want for me & the drama makes it seem not completely out of reach.

A Tale of Thousand Stars - Hallmark channel romance done right. A classic romance novel on screen that just hits all the tropes, with great pining. I know in this one they don't truly hook up until the end, but then we got the 2 episode My Skyy mini-series of established relationship epilogue. also: HE GAVE UP INDOOR BATHROOMS AND THE INTERNET. If that's not true love, what is?

The Princess Royal/The Grand Princess - I'm cheating here because it's truly the novel version of this couple that are epic and unforgettable for me. The drama is good but couldn't capture the rich depth of the otp, in their second time around. But the novel version omgggggg inspiring, someone please marry and divorce and remarry me NOW.

A Journey to Love - a drama that earned it in every way; we see them falling in love and we see their devotion. The way they loved each other exactly how they NEEDED to be loved. I felt that.

Parallel World aka West out of Yu Men - it's easy to make a split second decision to die for someone, it's harder to live for someone and even harder to give up well laid plans & forgive the unforgivable. When all the secrets come out and it doesn't end them... that's when I knew this couple was epic to me. idk but I just felt the connection between them and felt the drama earned my belief that nothing could turn them against each other.

Hidden Love: like sliding into a warm bath. 💕💕💕💕💕 I absolutely believed in their love, in every way.

Story of Minglan: They took a very long time to get there but oh when they do! Beautiful mutual support and a loving relationship of respect and partnership that would have been rare in that time period/setting.

What’s your OTP for your Muse(s)?

Most of my muses are OCs so whatever ship is there, it is my OTP. However, I do have a select few exceptions like Megohime, as she will be defaulted to ship with her historical spouse, Date Masamune. As for my canon muses, I am only on board with the idea of Oichi being shipped with Azai Nagamasa (her canon husband both in this interpretation and in the history), while others are still a fair game as long as chemistry and prior discussion are involved. I do like Kenshin and Kasuga together, but honestly I don't see Kenshin returning her (a good emphasis on romantic and sexual) affection because I see him/them as celibate, so...

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

I'm so heavily inspired by shoujo/josei manga as well as Korean dramas when it comes to shippy ideas/dynamics so it might not be too off from tropes that are present in those medias. However, I do have several turnoffs (apart from the usual squick/no-nos like incest, pedophilia, etc) like the typical cliche trope of a (usually male) bully crushing on their (usually female) victim (which was popularized by H.ana Y.ori D.ango back in the days haha), extreme Stockholm syndrome, persistent third wheelers (god I actually really hate this trope fjfhdkdj) questionable age gaps and with minor muses. Toxic, obsessive or unhinged are fine, but we gotta discuss it further to make it actually work as it would have to depend on which muse that are going to be involved in it and not cross boundaries that we might have for comfort.

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

Between mortal characters, anything between minors and adults are a big no, but at the very maximum... maybe 20-30 years? Idk. Immortals are completely different story, of course, and as long as they are both at the same level of mental maturity, it's a fair game.

Are you selective when shipping?

To be fair, very much so. I love ships but they don't exactly define my writing or is the main purpose of why I write on the first place as it has been more of a lore and personal character development focused purpose (though ships may facilitate the latter). Some characters are rather reserved about who they want to pursue a romance with (e.g: Killian). Even some characters are not available for shipping yet as I write them to be pretty much aroace, like Jinluo. Mun's personal taste also factors in as well occasionally... Mutual interests between both parties must be present and a good, healthy amount of communication as well.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?

It honestly really depends on the muse and the ship itself...? Some of my muses are inexperienced or simply asexual, some of them are simply repressed, some of them are experienced yet still reserved about sexual encounters, and some are straight out shameless. Most of the time I keep NSFW content to a minimum because not all muses would want to cooperate with that, but certain muses have no problem to be on board with it (namely Tsuyuko) and wouldn't even mind to do one night stands.

Again, I really enjoy shipping when it's done right and I love writing up unique possible relationship dynamics that happen between the involved characters (like old married couple Masamune/Megohime or any master/servant or lord/warrior dynamics), but also: I'm selective and shipping itself is not the main focus of my writing, though it may sometimes facilitate the said focus.

Most of the time yes, but even then it's kept to a manageable amount. Some characters are singleship due to personal plot limitations though, and it's unnegotiable.

Anyway... Gothmog. Let me think. I'm gonna say: Old canon Gothmog (son of Melkor) definitely not, new canon Gothmog maybe not, my Gothmog (as in based on my headcanons) potentially yes.

Moral alignment is not really a factor here, now that I think about it. The "real man" criteria is more that the character in question is secure in his masculinity, no matter if he chooses to express it in a more traditionally masculine way - for example Beren and Eönwë being your typical "hero" characters - or if he goes against traditional or toxic masculinity - for example Manwë being unafraid to cry in public. The latter gives bonus points in fact. The other big thing is being a supportive lover regardless of said lover's gender, treating them respectfully and not acting creepy.

My Gothmog may be a slayer of blorbos, but aside from that he's a weirdly chill guy for a Balrog who likes bickering with his siblings, play-fighting and bathing in lava and also sleeps a lot. While he may participate in some taunting to keep up appearances, he has always known and acknowledged that Eönwë is just as much of a warrior as he is, even if his fána is just half his size and way cuter. He would even admit that Eönwë is the better warrior in a heartbeat. Of course he wouldn't back down from a fight, either because it's a fun sparring session or because they have to do their duty in a war - something both of them understand - but he knows what's up.

He's the classic big, strong, tough guy who doesn't talk much and appears "simple", though that doesn't mean he lacks intelligence. In fact, I do think Gothmog possesses the amount of emotional intelligence he needs to stay out of the drama Melkor and Mairon are causing all the time and to deal with Eönwë's particular brand of "weird bird man". It sounds so strange to say considering what a nightmare it is to face just any Balrog, let alone Gothmog himself, in battle, but I do think on a personal level he's awesome for anxious people. He'll be your literal rock and take care of everything.

So yeah, I actually do think Gothmog might make it into the "real man" hall of fame on the evil side as the reliable and weirdly sweet tough guy. Good thinking, bestie!

Omg okay so you know how Forever asked for mod ideas to add on twitter? Well I can't stop thinking about the one I recommended bc it'd be such a fun server event.

The one I recommended was a double life mod. Which is basically like, two random PLAYERS (not eggs >:( !!!) are matched up and they are "soulmates". Soulmates share all dmg between the two of them which means if one of them dies, the other does as well.

I was thinking its an optional event obviously but theres some sort of prize for the last soulmate pair left standing. Maybe something like being able to ask the federation for ANYTHING (except obvious things like creative mode or leave the island) and its implied u can ask for egg lives too but idk if that'd ACTUALLY be a prize or just bait.

Essentially the participants are trying to make it to the end and be the last pair standing so they can get the prize which could include alliances, desperately trying to protect each other nd making it to the end bc they have the same wish OR betrayals bc they dont :D

I think it'd be a nice incentive for players to interact and be active since I think how active you are will have to be a factor or else a pair can just join the event and never login until everyone else dies lol.

I'm thinking, just like the actual double life series, each pair has like 2 or 3 lives until they're out of the event? I also think it'd create interesting dynamics.

Like how funny would it be if tazercraft participated but they werent paired up since its random, so their soulmates just have to accept that they have to work as a 4 person alliance? Would any soulmates rather go solo then stick around their soulmate? Would there be drama about soulmates going and doing dangerous things alone, risking if not actually accidentally costing them one of their lives?

Idek I just think it'd be fun. Ooh I actually like this idea! Actually I have been excited for Tazercraft's Murder Mystery because one of the roles is "Lovers", and if your partner die you die. So I really want to see the random matchups we could get.

In a way, it'd be like your government assigned partner all over again like it was with the eggs, but this time the French and the Brazilians can participate since they've always been just a big polycule. So it'd be nice for a short event where you can get some good but not game-breaking rewards.

I agree that Forever would become very protective of his partner and instantly set up an enderpearls stasis chamber like he does with his family, but I'd love to see how insufferable he'd get too if he got someone like Philza lol.

Anyways I really like this idea mainly because I'd love to see the unexpected duos that would come from it even if temporarily. I really hope the admins think of some type of event like this, but if not we can get something close to it with Tazercraft's Murder Mystery at least!

based off of my favorite season ... bb4 with jun song like well yes....like yeah i LOVE this season but also like. i have to think about this because i want to open up the possibility of there being a pre-established stobin relationship.

like OKAY clicking from the first day creating a final 2 alliance immediately ... i see it. initially enemies becoming begrudging allies using a final 2 alliance to keep each other loyal becoming genuine friends who honor that final 2 alliance despite knowing it wouldn't help their game. LIKE.... i am Sick to my Stomach. BUT some type of x-factor WOW.

if they go in as exes, i think i could only see them purposely bamboozling producers into thinking they would never work together when they have a shared google drive of strategies for their game or like fuckin... idk i don't strategize u tell me

OKAY BUT maybe a home town high school reunion type theme, where they make sure to include duos that would have been in the same high school at the same time blah blah. so there are two steves that could possibly have applied for big brother.

one steve was encouraged by His Boys (and carol) to try out bc he's athletic AND good at the social game. king steve is in it to win it, but as time goes on, steve harrington's bleeding heart prevents him from being as ruthless as he planned to be.

stobin seeing each other ep 1 and just the most evil glares toward each other, but actually they're nonverbally setting a meeting to discuss their alliance. they don't know it but it's their strongest, longest lasting alliance and the one they are ultimately the most loyal to. thinking jun and jee picking fights to throw people off their scent.... robin and her you suck/you rule board like. YEAH.

i think that in this scenario, steve is more jee in using his physicality to prove his worth to the team and winning comps. and robin is more jun in that she (unfortunately) is not the most liked in the house bc she has smth of a "floater" strat. WHICH not a coasting strat. a floater strat. okay. she is instigating and she is lying and she is scheming.

however also steve being jun with the kitchen strat like YEAH like yes. using cooking as an excuse to stay in the most central part of the house and eavesdrop like well yes. have a neutral reason to always be present for drama and make people not want to eliminate you bc if they do, they lose ur cooking too.

i think that like robin would win in this season, but only because steve didn't make it to the final 2. both of them knew that steve would have jury. like he just played the social game so well that even people he beat and blindsided wanted him to win. like he proved to be loyal while still pushing his game and he was on good terms with everyone in the house. steve threw the last hoh so he would be eliminated esp since he knew that robin would be the obvious winner against the other contestant

the Second steve would be a post-demogorgon or bullshit kind of checked out steve harrington who doesn't have it in him to fight for his crown. maybe he Did apply before the upside down and unlucky enough to have a life altering experience right before appearing on television. or maybe he was just throwing shit at the wall instead of applying for college thinking whatever. face card never declines.

picturing a taylor hale-esque journey where robin hears that King Steve is joining the house. and she has her preconceived opinions about him and obviously it's beneficial to her game to completely undermine a good social player before he even gets a chance to speak. so she starts turning people in the house against him but not in a paloma way me think. less intense, but still just as detrimental to steve's game.

but steve is able to make a couple solid connections in the house, and despite being put on the block, he's not eliminated. the first month in the house is pretty rocky for steve, and he's put on the block nearly Every Single Week. now he starts giving a jag performance and winning comps left and right like. power of veto every week baby and that's why he will Never Be Eliminated. people are beginning to look at steve differently now

they're like okay he's a bit of a free agent, and obviously a strong player. he could be used as a shield, he could be used as a buffer, keeping him could be beneficial to my game. robin is still iffy about him, but she sees his merit.

just like taylor, steve is one to one in convincing people to support him in his game. he appeals to them so effectively that people who were vehemently against him just boom.... appreciate. like robin is not immune to the harrington charm and she's already the worm in his brain

thinking some Big Drama involving steve though and literally daniel's tirade on taylor (which was SO undeserved and like? insane?) yeah.... and then the turn around and calling out of his previous treatment like. YEAH. that's what i want...

robin taking the longest to come around to steve, but being the most ride or die. they're like jag and matt just. ur my minute man baby.... i know i'd have a better chance against this guy but. we made a final 2 alliance and i'm not going to blindside you.

and steve would win in this case. he's just so strong with the jury and really good with comps like okay... was there a q.... robin argued her social game was more refined (it violated constitutional rights or smth)

yeah like, its amazing that women are now allowed to make big box office movies I just wish people were more honest about the actual quality. legally blonde and mean girls touched on the intricacy of female friendships and the way women and girls walk through the world but they were also well written and showed it through the plot and relationships and made far deeper commentary because of it. legally blonde especially. I can keep sending my thoughts in if you dont mind, I really wanted to talk to someone about this.

I think that movies can be feminist statements without overtly saying “this is a feminist statement.” And like, I keep repeating, I genuinely enjoyed Barbie even though it had tonal whiplash and it was much stronger imo in the comedy than the drama parts of the movie. I go back to Legally Blonde and Mean Girls a lot. Thats actually one of the reasons I still haven’t seen the new Mean Girls, beyond being biased thanks to nostalgia lol.

And back to your point about quality, YES. Like, we can and should talk about diversity and uplift all voices, women and POC and like Hollywood is not nearly where it should be. (And we should also talk about international and independent film more, which is happening more, which is a great thing. But those are sooo different from like. Being top 3 box office. Like pretending that Barbie and Past Lives are similar in any way is wild to me—not that people are, but it’s such a limited conversation.) Like, to me it shouldn’t be offensive to find Oppenheimer to be a better and more serious movie than Barbie. It’s not because it’s “for boys” (which is bullshit and we keeeep enforcing gendering when like, gender is a huge factor in a lot of things, and a lot of oppression, but this shouldn’t be boy movie/girl movie). It’s because it’s better lol. (And people are more than welcome to disagree; some do! Ultimately these things are taste.)

But yeah. Idk. Cinema is one of the biggest forms of media and so what it says and who makes it matters a LOT. As does who doesn’t have that access. But having a real conversation about quality also matters. Like, Barbie aside, to me, Lady Bird isn’t the best coming of age film about women and parental relationships of the 2010s. 20th Century Women and Boyhood are. (Lady Bird is maybe 3rd, if I’m being generous.) Are they better movies because they’re made by men? No it’s because they’re better movies to me. And that’s fine. Idk. It just limits conversation a lot.

All this said, I’m trying to attempt to balance out my movie watching even a little and watch more films directed by women and minorities. I’ve seen all Greta’s films (and they’re good! Not great but good) and there are SO MANY MORE OUT THERE. And I’m glad they’re getting a bit of a push at the Oscars, too.

yeah going insane over Avalon Literature Girls again. Lately I've been thinking about how like. She's low-empathy + low-emotional intelligence like naturally. That's just how she is!! It's a really really important part of her character and is a big factor in why she acts the way she does and does the things that she does. and I think it's important to understand that as a computer, she's never really had to interact with any sentient being directly asides from Anthy and their relationship is more boss and worker so not much sympathy is gonna be expected there ^^; Like yeah I also get she has an unhealthy obsession with drama and this is also a driving factor in why she ends up killing (Or at least thinking that she did) the girls. When she got rid of everyone left in one go that was almost purely driven by 'I want drama to happen NOW!!' and we saw the emotional fallout of that after.

But I feel like her character is also so defined by her inability to be empathetic and that isn't like. a crime? Idk if this fanbase is like. big enough to have anyone really misinterpret that by now. I just have some vague memories of when everyone in the server absolutely hated her (And like yeah it's completely fair!! She's pretty bad!!) and it felt like they were judging her on her ability to be empathetic and nice when I don't think it's fair to judge her on that!! That's how she is and she's never had to learn to be sympathetic!! She's never interacted with sentient beings outside of Anthy!!! It's something she's shown to be working on in Feel Less!!

Also I think the fact that Avalon has this natural all consuming interest in the girls life and their world is really really important. She's never had any interest in her life before this. I don't think it's wrong to say she was scared about the whole thing ending. I don't think she was wrong for feeling that way either. Like heck, I know how it feels to desperately cling onto a interest especially in times of hardship and just, awfulness in general (8th - 10th grade how I do not miss you) so like. I can't even imagine what it must have felt like for her. She had nothing to fall back on. Her life is so overwhelmingly boring. This was the first thing to ever bring her any joy. I'm really happy Literature Girls handled this topic of things coming to an end and letting go as well as it did I have like an essay in drafts waiting to be finished because I've seen this trope gone so bad in like. popular media I was scared of it going down the same route ^^;

I don't want to expect people to give Avalon lenience because I know she's awful in context and did pretty fucked shit and no one likes her in canon. But idk man. She's my blorbo!! my scrunkle!! November 13, 23 continued...

I've been hanging out with Shane more, I definitely need to keep my boundaries up with him. He's super genuine and sweet, really does show that he cares and actively keeps an interest which is really nice but sometimes just a little too much for me. We've got a couple plans over the months but I definitely need to keep those boundaries in place. I've hung out with Connor a few times now, we went for a nice bike ride for the first time after my birthday. I connected with him on FB dating like two ish years ago but we never met up or really continued talking and then we went for a bike ride & had a nice chat. He came out with Amber & I for halloween too, which he was a champ about coming out with someone he's never met, me who he met once, going to a random persons house haha, but it was pretty fun and as much as he can be a bit quieter, he's been opening up a lot more. I went over last week to watch a hockey game & hot tub with him and that was a nice evening, we talked a lot about exes and narcissistic issues we've dealt with too, he can definitely be a talker which is nice, he's definitely opening up a lot more. He really seems like a nice guy, again just keeping it casual getting to know each other. Jeremiah has been weird lately. I thought it was because Zack made things uncomfortable which im sure is a big contributing factor, but still idk. We were hanging out a lot and connected a lot over the summer and then when Zack joined the Ranchmans dance night I definitely think he rubbed everyone wrong, then I think I had a games night a few days later which again wasn't great, and then a few weeks later when Amber did my surprise birthday gathering he definitely didn't jive with Zack which again I totally get, I apologized to Jer after but it hasn't been the same. He hasn't asked to hang out like once... & I think Amanda kind of initiated the last movie night that just happened last friday which was good but yah idk, just back to feeling like I'm just his dog watcher friend which sucks. He had asked about christmas holiday and I got back to him and he texted again this morning about this week and it's like ok it would be nice to actually hang out and not just feel like I'm a free dog watcher ya know? Kinda just went back to like the earlier start of our friendship again so idk, I guess we'll see. Daniel - whom was Jer's friend we met at Jers birthday gathering this summer, we've been chatting back & forth for some months and then it was his birthday last month or some weeks ago & Amber & I stopped by which was nice, Troy was there whom i've met once before, would love to meet him again haha... anyways, had some good chats with Daniel and then I ended up going with him to his church the weekend prior which was really good. He's super nice and very extraverted so it's nice to chat with him, though I do feel very young to him, hes 9 years older, just turned 38 so I feel a bit kid-ish but we're going to get together & hang out sometime soon which should be nice, he's a genuine dude and christian which is very nice. Trying to think what else. Relationship with Steven & amanda is still great obviously, though still haven't reconnected with Melissa. It's been like 4 months now which is painful. Drama free but painful. I was really triggered and hurt when she gave me cold response after sending her photos from NYC and just felt super hypocritical. Just that whole situation honest rubs me so wrong and gives me the ick of what happened and how s he handled everything, like makes me just not want to be around her but idk. Her birthday is this week & of course as I'm always the bigger person, I'll say happy birthday even though she didn't to me, again just another jab. Idk it's still a fresh wound.

I’m very lucky to have self titled in pink! I bought it around two years ago now I think? And I found it at a steal honestly compared to the $200+ people were listing it for so it was very much a chance thing.

I have all but midnight memories on vinyl because I think they’ve yet to press it and I hope the color is nice but I honestly doubt it however I will buy it either way just to have it on vinyl. Idk why but I have a feeling urban outfitters (who’s been pressing the 1D color vinyls recently) are gonna make it like a weird neon yellow??? They’re not gonna do red unfortunately even though that’s the main color of the album because they made four red for some reason? The colors they’ve picked for the albums have honestly not been very complementary or like matching other than them making mitam blue since blue and orange are complementary.

Anyways, you can definitely add me to your rob list lol, when you come to rob me we’ll just chill and listen!! I’m not sure if there’s one vinyl I listen to more than the rest buuut self titled really is a different experience on vinyl.

Those are such stunning paintings! And Italy! How fun and exciting!!! I’ve never left the US and I’ve rarely left my state as well but I’m hoping one day to travel more in and out of the US!!!

Like my book interest, the shows I watch are skewed more towards sci-fi, thrillers,  psychological, horror and sometimes comedy dramas! One of the best shows I’ve watched this year is The Devils Hour and then in all honesty, one of the best shows I’ve seen in literal years this year is Severance, starring Adam Scott. Barry is very good too!! There’s tons more but of course I can’t seem to remember them atm.

For pets I’ve only ever had dachshunds and pitbulls! Would you believe that the dachshund was the meanest one out of the two? He was an old man who had no problem biting !!! And good answer! That transition period is a good one, I love it.

Alright, speed round again!! If you could pick, what would be your dream thing to do for the rest of your life? Like if you could do anything, logistics not factoring in. Like for me, I’d love to be somewhat of a NatGeo photographer I just think it would be amazing. Do you play any video games? If so what’s your favorite? I would literally do anything for the pink self-titled just so I can say that I have it!! It’s so pretty and you are such a lucky person to be able to obtain it!! If you don’t mind, I would love to see a picture of it!! 🥺

I have the little 7” midnight memories picture disc that has the midnight memories single on one side and Rock Me (Live) on the other!! I can’t wait until they press the whole album on vinyl! If urban outfitters does decide to press it, they really should make it red instead of having four being red!! They could have pressed four in like a brown that resembled wood, if that makes any sense!! Or they could have pressed it in Louis blue, as I love to call it lol. I think it would go very well with the color scheme at the time!! If they do decide to do it in a neon yellow, I wouldn’t mind cause I actually enjoy the color yellow lol.

Honestly, I would love that!! We could listen to it together while talking about how much self-tiled was a cultural reset on our society as we know it lol. What’s your favorite track off of self-titled? Mine would have to be a tie between Only Angel and Meet Me in the Hallway!! I could also ask your favs. on the other boy’s albums!!?!? Louis’ would be fearless, walls, Chicago, all this time, miss you, the list goes on!! Niall’s would be heartbreak weather (single), still, and mirrors!! For zayn, I have too many favorites, so for the sake of this ask, I’m gonna say the entirety of Icarus Falls!! Liam’s music doesn’t really intrigue me as much as the other boys, but I do enjoy his song slow!!

I was also someone who didn’t really leave the states unless it was to go to Puerto Rico to visit family, so Italy was truly an experience I will hold near and dear in my heart, even though it was a very short lived trip!! I’d say if you have the opportunity to go, please do!! I recommend!!

I haven’t heard many things about severance, but I have seen some people talk about it here and there, so I would like to look more into it as well as the devils hour!!

I believe you when you say that the smaller dogs are the most expressive and outgoing ones compared to the larger ones!! Pitbulls are just gentle giants while smaller breeds like chihuahuas and dachshunds can be the meanest little things!! My grandmother has a little chihuahua, but she’s the nicest little old lady you would ever lay your eyes on!! She has her moments, but I would die for her!!

Speed Round!! I thoroughly enjoy these speed round questions, so keep them coming lol. I’ll do my best to answer them!! Dream job w/ no logistics? Honestly, if I can just hang out with animals and get paid for it, I would!! When you said you would be a NatGeo photographer, that’s such a good answer!! To say something a little different, I would probably teach art to high schoolers, but without the added stress of having to be a higher education instructor!!

Video Games!? Oh, honey, I love me a good video game!! To hit two birds with one stone, I can talk about video games for hours!! As of right now, I haven’t been playing too many things, but the most recent games I’ve been playing have been Legend of Zelda: Breathe of the Wild and Cult of the Lamb!! I also really enjoy the Pokémon franchise, I would also say I can go on and on about Pokémon through a video game/aesthetic standpoint!! I feel the most comfortable playing games that resemble farming RPGs where you have to farm for items in order to progress. If you haven’t played many games before, I highly recommend Stardew valley!! It’s very good and it has such an in-depth story element to it!! My favorite video game character of all time has to be Kirby!! I truly love all things Kirby!! Lol. I do also love to watch people play video games I know I, myself, could never play just out of pure skill level that I don’t have for those types of genres. Markiplier/Jacksepticeye are the first two who ring a bell, but I’m also trying to branch out and find more people who record lets plays!! Mario Party/Kart Main? I am a hoe for Yoshi!! Every time my friends and I play, I have two be one of two options: Yoshi or Bowser Jr. If this paragraph didn’t already explain that I can go on for much longer, then idk what will lol.

I agree with you 10000% in terms of declining physical media!! I missed having physical things that I can hold onto to acquire that memory of a specific time in my life!! That’s probably why I have to many trinkets due to not being able to have many of them when I was younger, but now having adult money, I can literally buy what I please!! Because of this, over quarantine is when I started to pick up cd/vinyl collecting that I missed out on when I was younger!! I’ve always wanted to have all the 1d cds in physical form (now I do and I have them all in a frame on my dresser in my room!!). What physical media do you miss the most?
