I talked about this scene of Agatha recruiting Lilia in my priv, twitter acc back then but somehow I felt the need to bring it up again (and this time on Tumblr) since not enough people are talking about this.

I think we all, as a society, moved on wayyyyyy too fast from this scene.

Agatha lowkey didn't fw divination because she couldn't cheat her way through it. The way her face dawned in realization in each word that Lilia uttered to her.. I could almost see the thought process in her head, it's almost comical (do ignore the pict quality people 🙏🏻).

Agatha is so skeptical of Lilia at first, she's like “Okay, let's hear what other nonsense this old kooky witch has to say”. Only for Lilia to read her like an open book. And Agatha has only been standing and fucking around in her shop for like.. what? Ten minutes? And you mean to tell her this bitch already caught up on what it is that she was about to do? Bonkers!

“It's not the first time your witch kin betrayed you. But you survive, in a way few do. In fact, it's why you're here. And I am not interested.”

Her expression. These are the faces of a woman who's impressed, annoyed, pissed, and turned on by such a display of power and skill for a short amount of time. And dare I say that Agatha felt almost... a pity? Later on, for Lilia. Not because of her seeing Lilia screaming like a madman when she was in her kitchen. But rather because she knew what she was about to do. She is going to take Lilia's power, in one way or another. And that means she's going to kill her fellow centuries old, exceptional and magnificent witch. And it's a shame, really.

And on a separate note, can we also talk about the tension that Agatha and Lilia have in that scene? It screams history to me, like come on now. The show of push and pull, them going “Oh so that's how it is? Fine, let's play your game”, both witches knowing exactly what and who the other is, but the information never once scaring them and piqued their interest instead. I might be reading too deep into these but honestly for such a brief meet up, these two have so many things going on — it's kinda insane.

my toxic trait is i genuinely do not think fnaf can be “solved” in a way that is not wholly convoluted and contradictory and relies upon extreme stretches and reaches and despise any video or otherwise claiming to have done so. fnaf’s story is not well-written nor planned enough to be truly solved in the way people want. fnaf’s intended purpose at this point is for you to make ocs out of the characters and if you think otherwise you are lying to yourself

caretaking my mom can be incredibly difficult on an emotional level mostly bc she sometimes gets really cruel and insults me on the deepest levels she can LOL but the last two days were honestly amazing… i think i’m actually gonna be able to heal the trauma of the thanksgiving 11 years ago when she split into religious delusions and did a number of deeply abusive things i wont list here, told me i wasnt her child and i was satan’s now, left the apartment and blocked my phone number for a week and i had no idea when she would return (at some points i worried she never would)… that helped stoke the stupidest most waste-of-time fear of abandonment & it fucks with me so much still

BUT for the first time since 2013 it was just us two on thanksgiving (we didnt celebrate it most years or we were with extended family) and we had such a good day. it’s so hard with her. i cut her a lot of slack because she’s literally dying, idrc what she says to me at this point, it only hurts in the moment now somehow… afterwards it disappears because it doesn’t fucking matter, only the love i have for her matters. any hurt she sends my way i will receive with love and respond with love. but anyway WE actually have now started paving over that old pain (which traumatized her too i know) and i have something to remember now going forward each late november, not just pain and fear and confusion and shame. ❣️

this is our last winter holidays together. i’m lucky she even wants me around, there were so many times she wanted nothing to do with me lol. we’re seriously closer than we’ve ever been, she does compliment me too, and we eat weed gummies and watch tv for hours and just laugh, smoke cigarettes out the patio door cause its 5 degrees outside… she trusts me to confide in about how weird it is to have parts of your body dying but still be walking around alive. ALS is such a weird disease. i wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.
