I've never been so fucking pissed off at my mom in my entire life. She came home yesterday after being gone a few days feeling sick and I told her to take a goddamn covid test which she fucking didn't bc she claimed it was allergies. It's fucking covid. We avoided that fucking thing for five fucking years just for her to bring it home with no fucking regard for the rest of us. And she didn't even stay away from us?? The HTTYD life-action looks like The Last Kingdom if it had dragons and just sucked.

And I know for a fact the moment it comes out, everyone will be like "This is how live actions should be done!" "This isn't like other live actions, this looks good and adds new things to the story!"

There's a high chance that the success of this movie will spark a new fave of content for this universe, but only in a lazy live-action and I won't look forward nor actually get into any of it. I'll just spend the time thinking why they couldn't have done it before (the answer is caring only about money). What I know for certain is if it does happen, my disdain for this franchise will grow high and I'll leave behind an universe I dearly enjoyed despite it's flaws.

So I'm letting everyone know that no matter how 'good' it is, it should not exist in the first place and no amount of interviews from the directors will ever convince me on why this was ever neccesary.

no, actually my least favorite thing about watching thai dramas while speaking & understanding thai... is that the dialects never match up 😭😭😭 if a character is from a non-central province, they'll have their whole family speak in northern/southern/isaan dialect while the main character, who's played by an actor from bangkok, will unexplainably not have any remnants of his native dialect when he speaks even though he was born & raised in the area and often time never even left... that shit breaks the fourth wall to me, like... why even hire an actor who doesn't fit the role fully, I don't get it 😭
