i've always loved disastrous overconfident characters that think they have it all together and that everybody else's incompetence is the only thing standing in their way so ultimately it's no surprise that brit stevenson is my Failwoman Of All Time. i've had her in the mason jar with some sticks and leaves and stuff ( i poked holes in the top with a hammer and nail don't worry ) for nearly three years now just enraptured with how much mess it's possible to read into her. local woman exclusively wears dry-clean-only tailored skirtsuits to work and survives on slimfast shakes and microwaved lean cuisine and 20$ bottles of wine at home. local woman thinks movies are a waste of time but watches hours of talk shows for the fleeting feeling of superiority all those unwed mothers and dysfunctional families give her. local woman would rather die than be seen exercising and instead does pilates DVDs in her living room with the shades drawn. local woman refuses to eat pork. local woman hasn't been hugged in almost twenty years and eschews personal relationships to stay focused on her job as an attack dog for the city's strangest real estate magnate. local woman compensates for childhood trauma by pretending the childhood never happened. local woman killed eight people and stole a property and nobody cared !
