I wish the LOV were accepted more for who they actually are in Canon which is a group of damaged individuals who have such a deep self-hatred for themselves and that while they care about each other they don't make each other better because they can't because they can't even help themselves let alone each other.
And this is why they need help from outside the league and why each of them are searching for acceptance elsewhere because as much as some lov stans want the league to just have each other this is not what the league wants nor even needs.
A rant I've gone on several times, but I always feel like there are more points I can make to expand on this.
It's the self-hatred piece that's not outright stated in canon by the characters, but is heavily shown through outside forces within the story, but gets overlooked.
I think it's confusing their general acceptance of each other for prioritizing each other, which they don't.
The only League members who did that were Twice, Spinner, and Compress--and look what happened to them, and look at what their sacrifices accomplished.
Twice saved Toga, I'm not taking that away from him by any means. It was a big moment and it was a good way for him to go out. But he prioritized their happiness when there was absolutely 0 chance of their current plan of action actually bringing any of them happiness. He prioritized their happiness when...I'm sorry but none of them prioritized his--they couldn't even prioritize their own. He died thinking he had a happy life because he found the League, and yet he died without that sentiment being returned--because not a single other member of the League feels like they have a happy life, not now and not ever before--even when they had each other.
Compress got locked up, maimed himself in the name of "helping them achieve their dreams"--when none of them have any actual dreams beyond death or self-destruction. He got locked up for the sake of the League that immediately fell to pieces because Tomura getting possessed was an extensive, long-term plan that League unintentionally perpetuated and had absolutely no way of stopping at any point in time, ever. Toga was always miserable, Dabi was always suicidal, and Spinner was on his way to make more bad decisions to come that nobody was going to be able to talk him out of--because as Compress said! They don't ask questions! But man, maybe they should have, haha.
Spinner almost completely lost his mind to quirk overload. Accepted power in the name of helping Tomura. Every time he tries to "help Tomura" it's remeniscent to throwing gasoline on an already blazing fire (the blazing fire being Tomura's detrimental state), and yes I'm implying that ironically, in the name of wanting to help and support him (in so many negative ways because that's what Spin got attached to), Spin made things worse (unintentionally! but he did, sorry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).
I mean, every time the League tries to push further down the destructive path "of their dreams", they just end up hurting themselves more, making themselves more miserable, and brush closer and closer to death (in Touya's case, he's practically dancing with it, hoping it takes him). Any time one of them "prioritizes" the League or someone in the League, it just ends up making things worse and working out in a way that AFO benefits from.
It's almost like the manga is saying "man, these guys are fucked and they just keep fucking themselves over so long as they aren't receiving help from people who don't agree with their self-destructive actions!"
#i wasn't even gonna answer this I got this several days ago#but after seeing some of the reactions to toga's development this chapter i decided to just rant to my heart's content#anonymous#bnha asks#league of villains#i love the league but man you'd think i didn't with the way i shit on their dynamic#but i'm a little over the woobified takes of them#let them be difficult to swallow let them be bad and let them be very unhelpful to their 'cause'#cuz they don't have one

Funniest responses* to the "What does "Blorbo" mean?" question
(In reference to my silmarillion fandom linguistics project, the results of which you can find in my "survey says" tag)
*not necessarily the full response, some are just fragments from longer responses. Also, I'm not filtering by "correct" or "incorrect" responses
Special Little Guy (gender neutral)
Lmao. That's like, my special little guy. He takes up my brain space. I'm rotating him.
you know how lilo from lilo and stitch has that doll she made, complete with backstory? basically like that
one's blorbo is a character one cares a lot about. it kind of has like... condescending or woobifying connotations? like expressing that Maedhros is your blorbo is sort of uh... one imagines like, a chibi Maedhros. cute, not scary. but it doesn't necessarily imply the speaker has distorted perception of the character in general, just a sort of fondness
The character a person wants to use as a doll/stuffed animal
A character who the author loves too much (and knows it)
"OMG Blorbo was in the new trailer for 5 seconds!" is a common statement
which often provokes... strange thoughts at 11pm.
Beloved character who you think about entirely too much and also enjoy putting in Situations
It implies some degress of being pathetic as well.
No relation to Blorbo Baggins.
The character you put under a microscope, put through the cheese grater, put into the salad spinner, and squeeze like a plushie.
A beloved character whom you want to both stick in a microwave and protect with all you have
character one fangirls* over (*gender neutral)
Just a little guy, whom I am deeply enamored of and just want to squish on the head and see what happens.
Favourive character, often pathetic, someone to pity as much as love
obsessed. baby. Will run my mouth off about them
the word "favorite" wasn't enough to encapsulate "the exact kind of character made specifically for me in the lab" either. my friendgroup started calling those types of characters "callouts" because they were calling you out by existing Exactly To Your Tastes
(not necessarily in a way that condones their actions, but deeply beloved nonetheless)
The "cinnamon roll" kind. Idk I love Namo but I'd never call him a blorbo, it just wouldn't feel right.
??
dear?
My personal favourite character, whom I want to adopt even if he's a dark lord
A particularly beloved (or beloathed-in-a-positive-way) character.
Generally seem to be problematic favs.
I think it was originally meant to be somewhat mocking, but it was wholeheartedly adopted and is now used unironically.
A favored character that usually is subjected to great amounts of trauma and or fluff.
A favourite character, usually male
The obsession character
Feanor/character you are unreasonably attached to esp. if they are a Bad Person TM
The character who is most special and beloved to you (and often that means you're gonna put them through The Horrors)
a character that makes you chew on the bars of your enclosure
Special little character from my shows(tm)
usually having an aura of kicked wet puppy (brimby)
You'd build a shrine to them
Idk, ask the children 😹. Er. Hot character you like? I'm sure people have very complex definitions explaining why they like the hot character but I don't take fandom that seriously.
Your guy (gender neutral), not a comfort character, but perhaps a character you would like to see experience the worst situations possible (affectionate)
occasionally blorbo from my floor (my cat)
Just a widdle pathetic guy 🥺😈
A favourite character, thuogh usually one you squash like a stress ball or squeaky toy rather than put gently on a shelf
Ungoliant
Guy (gender neutral) who I hold in my hand like a neat rock and look at
character whom i will put in a glass and shake
character you are putting in the metaphorical salad spinner
A favourite character, often a war criminal treated like they did nothing wrong, they are a little kitty
(character you're particularly attached to and usually put in physically and/or mentally torturous situations for fun)
A character you’ve imprinted on and like seeing in misery. They’re your wet cat you enjoy pouring water on but also toweling off
Your favorite character, to whom no harm may come (except in the service of angst)
my guy. my friend my buddy. the person
Literally your favourite ever character, but not like you want to f*ck them, more like "how much can i let them suffer?"
Your favouritest character from media that you like to put in all kinds of situations, but is not morally problematic.
favourite character you want to bully
a fictional character that you like to an obsessive amount, typically more than other favourite characters; your specialist little guy; someone you are unwell about; you don’t always have to like your blorbo per day but they must take up constant thought space

thinking about harrow and gideon as teeny little children.
like. the adults around them were never going to let them be friends, right? harrow's parents and crux were never going to put up with that. but i'll bet there was a moment, when they were small children, when they could've turned it around and just been friends. but of course they weren't allowed to.
like, here's the thing about toddlers: they kinda suck sometimes. all of them do, and it's usually not their fault. they don't have a developed sense of empathy or consequences yet, and they can't regulate their emotions very well. they're selfish and egocentric and short-sighted. they don't fully grasp concepts like sharing or delayed gratification. they have to be taught these things. it's the responsibility of the adults around them to help them practice and understand. and if they don't...well.
imagine you're tiny harrow. and you realize, one day, that if tiny gideon has something you want, then you're allowed to just take it and nobody cares. meanwhile, all of your things are sacred and protected by the adults around you. also, you're curious. you're learning about people and feelings and cause and effect. and so you start to pick on her, experimentally, as is natural for kids around that age. and you quickly come to understand that you can do whatever you want to her, and nobody will stop you. but if she retaliates, she gets in trouble. you would have to be one hell of an emotionally advanced toddler not to become a fucking terror to live with.
and that's not even mentioning how the adults around them treated gideon. harrow's primary caretaker and role model was fucking crux for jod's sake. and little kids love to copy behaviors and play and help even more than they love to steal. if the adults around you treat one particular person like shit, then you will inevitably learn to do the same.
also, gideon saying that baby harrow saw her as, quote, "an object of tormentable fascination" is weirdly heartbreaking to me? like yeah, harrow was probably The Worst as a little kid, for reasons already explored. but also, there was only one other child in her life. one other child, who was just close enough to her age to identify with, but also slightly older than her, by just enough months to be cool. i'll fucking bet harrow was obsessed with her. they were both lonely and bored and they had never been taught how to make friends or be nice to people. i'll bet they learned to fight like that. harrow following her around, just trying to get her attention, not knowing how else to do it.
the fact that griddle is very obviously babytalk too...it just fuckin gets me. harrow has been trying to say gideon's name since before she could properly form the syllables. she said gid-oh. what do you wanna bet it was one of the first words she tried to figure out how to say.
obviously, none of this justifies what came next. this isn't a harrowhark apologetics post. i'm not trying to like...woobify her or something. none of this emotional rambling about her toddlerhood absolves her of responsibility for shit she did as a teenager. but still. god i get emotional when i think about harrow and gideon as little kids. they were so lonely and they had no positive role models and they were completely fucked over by the adults around them and i am going to cry.

I just have to let this off my chest because it's geuinley so awful, but this is the story of how I stopped being antiship
I was on twitter, browsing as usual, when I came across a proshipper arguing with someone over ships (The anti started it iirc looking at the messages). When it came to discussing 'oh but it affects real victims!' the proshipper mentioned how their childhood r*post had almost strangled and beat them to death while assaulting them. The anti responded with:
"It's a fucking shame they didn't finish the job :/"
I think I just fucking lost my shit right then and there. I had already been on the fence about my shipping stance for a while, but I just, I CAN'T be on the same team as somebody who would say such a thing to a victims' face.....over FICTIONAL CHARACTERS. I know I'm basically venting ig but I guess I realized how genuinley little of a shit antis actually give towards actual sa victims
Just going to start this off by saying please NEVER be afraid of venting in my askbox or anything. I hear you and I am here for you.
That's just. Wow. Holy shit.
Yikes.
Idgaf what stance you take. You never, ever, EVER wish harm on somebody. I would lose my shit, too. Hell, I am losing my shit seeing that. I've got to make tea.
That is on par for a lot of the more prevalent antishippers I've seen, though. Don't get me wrong, I've met antis who've been perfectly kind and civil people, but it does seem like either the vast majority (or loud minority) of them seem to care more about the sanctity of the fictional beings they woobify than the lives of real, living people.

what are your most hated fanon takes on tim drake? as a hardcore Tim stan I want to know what to avoid since I haven't read that many comics yet
Just as a preface, take whatever I say with a grain of salt. You're allowed to like what you like and not like what you don't like. You don't have to have the same opinions on the Tim Drake Fandom as I do.
Mainly I don't like when they overtly woobify him, and kinda take a massive shit on the other characters. Like, you don't have to like other batfam members, but at least try to understand their characters
Like, The way Some Tim Fans will villify Dick for the sake of uplifting Tim, or Exploding the way that passing the mantle of Robin from Tim to Damian went down. Could it have been done better? Yes, but in no way was Tim holding harsh feelings towards Dick for that. Tim was Grieving Bruce and everyone else in his life who had died and pushing people away.
Same thing with Damian. Like yeah, Damian was a little shit when he first moved to the manor, but by no means was he the Devil Tim Fans make him out to be.
And Tim was snarking Jason off during the entirety of the events of Titans Tower. No harm done to his self esteem. In fact, Tim still thinks he's a better Robin than Jason was even after Jason Knock him out.
Oh! And Jason Didn't have any intention of Killing Tim during the events at Titans Tower. If He wanted to, Tim would be Dead.
On top of all of that, Tim wasn't as severely neglected as some fanon makes him out to be. Sure he was probably emotionally neglected, but not to the point where the maid was the only adult figure in his life coming over twice a week, and Tim had to fend for himself. Janet and Jack were pretty good parents. Not the Best, but they also weren't as shitty as fanon makes them out to be.
I'll admit, when I was new to the fandom, I loved all of these tropes, and Tim was one of my favorites, but through learning how Tim Drake actually is in canon, I find popular Tim Drake Fanon tropes insufferable. And they're everywhere.
I'll also admit, that some of these tropes are in the earlier fics I wrote, but I have been learning as I move through the fandom.
At the end of the day, I do hold a lot of respect for Tim Drake fic writers, because writing fics are hard, but personally, I'm going to scroll past.

People read that Erik didn't know good from evil and they take that in the most literal interpretation and run with it because this hellsite's reading comprehension is a fucking joke.
Agreed. Sometimes I'm a little terrified that there are people on this site who pick up a book like "Lolita" and think Humbert isn't a disgusting piece of shit because he tells the audience he isn't. I also think it's fair to say that because of the format, with it being a journalistic retelling of supposedly "true" events, we can somewhat consider Leroux an unreliable narrator so there IS wiggle room for personal interpretation. That said the idea that Erik is completely unaware that killing and kidnapping is wrong is a pretty wide stretch. If Erik didn't have at least some concept of right and wrong he wouldn't feel guilt and he wouldn't try to lie to the Daroga and deny his crimes. He also wouldn't let Christine go in the end if he didn't know that what he was doing was wrong. He knows well enough what he did was wrong, his behavior when called out is evidence enough of that. Sometimes what the characters, and even the narrator say needs to be taken with a grain of salt in the light of how a character acts. Erik is complex, he can be childish, traumatized, warped, tragic and have a heart that could hold an empire and still be cruel, manipulative and villainous, he can be ALL of these things and his morality may be skewed but he has enough moral sense to have standards and to feel a need to deny what he did. It's the complexity that makes him compelling, the capacity for good and evil and what such a character does when denied the opportunity to be good for so long only to be given it again one last time at his lowest point, when you can argue that he's used up any grace he's owed. I love seeing "unredeemable" characters get a last minute saving grace. That character who has fallen so far over to the dark side get that one act of mercy that fundamentally changes them for good. We can find him sympathetic while still being horrified by his actions and moved by the tragedy he causes and is himself a victim of. That's what makes him a worthwhile character to spend time with. This idea of a woobified baby who doesn't know better and can't be held responsible for anything he does creates a version of the character that is, frankly, uninteresting and undermines the potency of his redemptive arc and I really wish people would stop doing it, because if we have to disregard his ability to do evil then we have to disregard his ability to do good too and at that point you've just thrown out the whole character.

i apologize in advance if this ask sounds kinda weird, but i'm kinda curious to hear your thoughts on how the narrative treats qi rong, mostly because i think interacting only with the eng version/fandom might take some context from his character. i've seen people complaining that some fans woobify him too much, others complaining that some people treat him as a pure hate-sink when he's more than that. while i do think he's a multi-layered character, i do sometimes get the feeling that mxtx did not go easy on him, with the revised version being even crazier than before (some even say he was given a bit of onesided incestuous subtext with xl, but i wonder if that interpretation isn't just the result of weirdly translated lines in eng). i think this might be because he strikes me as a meta personification of sorts for toxic fans who place their identity and self-worth on just one person they completely idolize, and when that person is shown to be imperfect they immediately turn against them, and we know mxtx has had experience with those kinds of people.
i do think he's largely meant to be seen as unsympathetic overall, though i think there's strong nuances with his character as well. since his childhood he always lacked something and never really had a well formed identity, his prince name being symbolic of his life. he projected himself onto xl in life, and he kept on absorving the worst traits of the people around his life without really understanding them in order to feel powerful and important, from the xianle nobles to the signature traits of the other calamities. he also strikes me as very... "little brother"-coded, in the sense that he keeps looking for any sort of recognition and seems unable to mature. even when he hates xl i think he still somewhat craves his attention, and qr only developed a bit when he was forced to let go of this role by accidentally becoming a father instead. i think it's also interesting that he started out a lot like his father, but ended up sharing the fate of his mother.
i do wonder how the cn fandom views him and if he's nearly as divisive as he is here. i'd also be pretty interested in seeing some meta about him from cn fans. again, it feels like some context is missing by not speaking the language the book was originally written in...
Hi! I think the narrative basically takes the same stance as Xie Lian in its attitude towards Qi Rong, which is the sort of "I can't love you but I don't want to hate you, the best I could give you is indifference". I agree that Qi Rong isn't meant to be lovable, but MXTX isn't dismissive of him as a character either - she devoted almost an entire chapter to Qi Rong's death, let him speak his mind, and gave him some form of closure.
Qi Rong having onesided incestuous subtext with XL (!!) in the revised version is...very interesting haha, I haven't read the revised version so I can't know (someone please tell me where to get the revised version ><). Although I want to speculate that even if there is some incestuous vibes, it's not truly sexual - it's probably libido directed the wrong way when you're lusting over someone else's identity, but not over that person per se. Qi Rong lusts over XL's identity in the sense that he wants to be XL - or rather he wants to be perfect, worshipped, all-powerful etc. (bit of digression, there's an underrated psychological thriller called Cracks starring Eva Green, if you watch it you'll know what I mean)
I don't have the impression that he's truly divisive in the Chinese fandom, but then I don't engage with the Chinese fandom that much so I could totally be wrong. And I don't think any context is missing for English readers either (except maybe the humour of QR's obscene language might be lost in translation?) because human nature is the same everywhere, and Qi Rong's distorted psyche is more a matter of human nature than cultural context.
As for Chinese fandom's view of QR, there's this great meta I translated and posted a few days ago, and I found some other opinion pieces about Qi Rong on Zhihu (Chinese equivalent of Reddit), as you'll see they're quite diverse.
A lot of Chinese readers say that what stands out most about Qi Rong is his comedic role in the story because his cursing and name-calling are really funny; a lot of people also mention being really touched by his self-sacrifice to save Guzi. I found this one post that has a similar view to yours, which is QR represents MXTX's toxic fans:
"I always felt it's the author admonishing her fans in an implicit way not to be as crazy as Qi Rong [...] My guess is that the author can't ask her fans outright not to act in this way because that would hurt people who support her but are immature, however she can't turn a blind eye to these people going around provoking more resentment, so she creates QR to remind her fans not to be like QR, or they'd appear as unlikable as QR to the public. But the author still feels symathy for thse fans, so she didn't depict their representation in the novel as totally incorrigible - QR retains some humanity and is a little adorable when he starts to care about people."
I also saw opinions about the narrative (or rather Xie Lian) not going easy on Qi Rong, like this one:
"Xie Lian is clearly a very good person but why is he so heartless to QR? He eventually treated QR as a joke and a burden, but QR was once a true follower of his. At first I thought XL was perfect and cares about everyone, but he never really cared for his cousin. When I read that XL felt neither joy nor sorrow when QR died saving Guzi, my heart chilled. If XL could forgive the masses who betrayed and reviled him, why can't he forgive his cousin who once followed him whole-heartedly?"
There're also people saying that Qi Rong's potential divisiveness is what makes him a great villain, like this post:
"What MXTX's well-received villains have in common is a tragic childhood and not being loved growing up, and they only have a soft spot for one person. Although these villains did horrible deeds and are unrepentant, they all reserve some kindness in their heart for the only person who's good to them. This contrast is striking and touching, yet most likely to cause controversy. Therefore, MXTX knows very clearly how to create a memorable villain, and I admire that."
Someone else says when they read about Qi Rong they "don't know whether to laugh or cry" (XL's signature emotion hehe). They add that "this is where MXTX is successful in writing a villain - you both hate and pity him; he's infuriating, but you don't really want to see him die either."
Another view is that since Qi Rong has no filter, he sometimes serves as the truth-telling voice. For example, when XL wanted to keep Lang Qianqiu in the dark about the truth of the Gilded Banquet Massacre, Qi Rong blurted out the truth.
There's also a question posted on Zhihu that asks why people like Qi Rong, and there're some interesting answers. There's one post that says "I find him attractive because he's depicted as alluringly ghostly in a lot of fan art like vampires in Twilight" haha
Another post says they like Qi Rong "because he's guilelessly wicked, while XL and Hua Cheng are hypocrites" emmmmm
Another one says they like Qi Rong because "being Xie Lian is exhausting, he's so wronged but he just endures it all, while Qi Rong just launches verbal assults whenever someone rubs him the wrong way, it's so cathartic. The most difficult thing in the world is to be a good person, because as soon as you do one thing wrong, everyone criticises you; but if you're a bad person, even if you did just one good thing, everyone praises you for it and shows you pity".

Tomas Vrbada, - "Jealous Makes Company"
Description: Tomas wasn't the best in dealing with jealousy. It made him feel bad, but he couldn't handle when others looked your way. Your boyfriend was so loving, and doting. But seeing him act this way was.. interesting to say the least.
Tags: jealousy, praise, cream pies, voyeurism, eating out, tomas being a needy bitch
words: 1.8k
I need him so bad pls.
stop woobifying him I'm so scared
afab reader btw guys :3
💨 Enjoy!💨
Tomas was more reserved than his adoptive brothers. Through the years of being in the Lin Kuei, he's seen his fair share of his brothers secret lovers. Whether finding out through accidentally walking in on them, or hearing headboards rocking against stone walls, he knows.
This fact in turn, made him insecure. How come his brothers could have anyone they wanted? Was it his looks, or his attitude?
To say he was surprised when you were interested in him is an understatement. He'd never met anyone like you. It didn't take him very long to fall flat on his face in love with you. You're the prettiest little thing he's ever seen.
Tomas, your boyfriend, is a needy guy. His hands are always on you, somewhere. He likes his hands on your hips, says they're perfect to hold your body. His head is always on your shoulder, those grey eyes of his admiring the perfection that is your face.
That being said, Tomas is very protective of you. Especially around the brothers. He doesn't think they'd try anything per say, but he does worry. What if you start to fall in love with either Kuai Liang or Bi-Han? How would he handle that?
He couldn't have that.
You always reassure him that he's the one for you, it makes him happy. But it wasn't enough for Tomas.
Tomas had a "family reunion" of sorts, more of a dinner for the ninjas of the Lin Kuei to come together to commemorate. Celebrate, yada yada. He had decided to take you as his plus one. You were polite, and kind. The perfect person to take to an event like this. Watchful, grey eyes were always on you.
You looked stunning, the prettiest person there in his opinion. All dressed up, your soft skin on display. A real head turner. He'd noticed others eyes on you all night, but only your eyes met his.
He knew you'd never leave him, but the idea of it made his heart ache. Tomas is such a kind soul, you'd never hurt him like that.
You're speaking to Bi-Han, the less conversational one out of his brothers. He didn't know of the topic, but you could feel Tomas watching from afar. You can tell by how he's sending bits of smoke your way, the grey clouds gently brushing against your fingers. Your fingertips move, playing with it as you speak to Bi-Han. The subconscious reaction you have to his smoke brings a smile to his face.
Someone bumps into your back, sending you stumbling forward. The cryomancers eyes are wide open as you land against his chest. Cheek pressed against him, your eyes squeezed shut tight.
Tomas rushes over, concern painted on his face. His hands brush against your sides, pulling you upright once more.
"Are you alright, baby? Please tell me if you're hurt." Tomas says, his tone as sweet as ever. He holds you close, wrapping his arms around your middle.
You inform your doting boyfriend that you are indeed ok. The relief on his face is instant. But another hand meets your shoulder, Bi-Han's to be exact.
Bi-Han has had a.. dislike for Tomas since they were children. Any chance he can take to piss off or inconvenience the other ninja, he'll take. The cryomancer has noticed his eyes on you all night.
Your head turns, looking at the hand resting against you. As you look away, Tomas looks directly at Bi-Han. He swallows thickly.
Tomas' fingernails almost bite at your skin as he squeezes his grip on you without thinking.
"Are you ok?" Bi-Han asks, a manufactured sweetness in his tone. His brown eyes are focused on your face. The look of fake sympathy on his face is instantly recognizable to Tomas, but not to you.
You nod yes, but Bi-Han's hand still lingers.
"They said they're fine, brother." Tomas says, almost a hiss in your tone as he pulls you closer.
Tomas can feel something unfamiliar stirring within him, jealousy. He'd never liked feeling jealous, it made him feel bad. But to see someone such as Bi-Han speaking to you in a "sweet" way, it set a fire deep within his stomach.
Because of his needy and jealousy, he confided in your body. And that's the reason you're laid out on a cot, in a spare room within the Lin Kuei temple.
"You're mine, right? All mine." Tomas mumbles softly, his tongue gently working against your neck. His erect cock is buried deep inside of you, his hands on your hips.
Hushed, needy whines fall from his lips. Sucking, nipping, licking at the flesh of your neck. Making marks where every person can see, so another person doesn't even think of trying anything with you.
Tomas' fingertips squeeze at the soft flesh of your hips, kneading you as he slowly start to thrust his hips. Slowly, but not gently. He pulls his hips all the way back, and he roughly thrusts forward. The cot rocks against the wall. He's not making an effort to stay quiet.
He wants everyone to know you're his. A groan, nearly a growl falls from his parted lips. You can feel his hand trailing around your body. Cupping, feeling the skin of your ass. He puts both of his hands on your rear, and he lifts your hips just a bit off the bed with ease.
"You're soaked.." Tomas says softly, his eyebrows raised. You nod to his comment, a blush dancing across your features. Your boyfriend willing spreads your thighs nice and wide, showing all of you to him.
He's right, you're very wet. Tomas pulls out for a quick second, just to look at you. He moves one of his hands to your pussy, parting the folds with his fingertips. He can see his cum smeared across your clit, some on the insides of you. Arousal fluid is wet on your thighs, and he lets out a satisfied groan.
Your living boyfriend slides back into your greedy cunt, his thick cock stretching you.
He looks down at you with beautiful, grey eyes. Taking in your form with a watchful gaze. His hands find your hips once more, and they run up your sides. The ninja leans down, pressing his cheek to the middle of your chest, right between your breasts.
"God, you're so pretty, honey.." Tomas trails off, slowly but surely giving you pleasure. He thrusts in and out a bit quicker, his hips snapping in a needy fashion. His pretty, soft lips open in a wide mouthed fashion.
He knows your body like the back of his hand. Hitting your spot with every single forward motion, his thickness pressing tightly against your walls.
The ninja can hear your mewls, calling out his name with such sweetness that makes a warmth rush to his belly. He moves with such an erratic flare, desperately pounding into your wetness.
He can feel your arousal fluid on his front, but he loves the feeling of the warm liquid against his skin. Tomas lets out a high groan, his hands your hips tightly to keep his pace somewhat even.
It feels like heaven, him inside of you. Nobody had ever been able to play with your body as he had, nobody had brought you such pleasures.
Tomas' grey hair is sticking to his forehead as persperation makes his skin slick. Working hard to please himself, to prove a point to anyone who dared look your way.
The moans you let out sound like heaven to him, he can't get enough of you. His eyes flick to the cracked door, and then back to you.
"They're all gonna hear you, you know." Tomas moans, almost a purr to his tone.
You can feel that knot in your stomach growing tighter, and he can feel it. You're squeezing around him, ready to milk his needy cock.
His fingernails bite at your skin. With an increased amount of force, he pulls and pushes your hips with his body. Tomas has never been with rough before. You can see on his face that an orgasm is fast approaching.
The slightly cracked door of the guest bedroom makes sure that everyone can hear how much of a needy bitch you are for him. He loves that. He loves that people can hear him claiming you.
The sound of skin against skin only grows louder inside of the small bedroom. Smacking, wet flesh mixed with growls and whines.
"Oh god, you're so wet, I'm gonna cum—" Tomas trails off, a loud moan leaving his mouth as his hips stutter. Then, you feel it. You can feel his hot, sticky cum filling you. Your eyes widen as you see him in a state of bliss you'd never seen. Smoke billows out from his lips, his head thrown back with pure ectasy running through his veins.
The wetness of your own sex and the feeling of being filled is enough to send you against the edge.
Your back arches from the bed, a low moan of his name leaving your throat. Tomas watches as you unravel. Your thighs shake, your fingers clutch the sheets.
With a satisfied moan, Tomas buries his face into your breasts. His hips slowly move, your cunt milking him for all he's worth. He's panting against you, his breath hot on your already warm flesh. The feeling is exhilarating. The mess between your thighs is astonishing, in a sense.
Tomas leans up, and he pulls out. His fingers reaching down to your pussy. He runs two fingers between your folds, collecting his own seed and your fluids on his fingertips. With a lustful look, he opens his mouth.
While making direct eye contact, he sucks the fluids from his fingers. You can see his eyes nearly roll back from the sweet saltiness on his tongue.
His hands move against your thighs, parting them. And with swift, agile movements, he makes his way down between your thighs. His pretty face nestles between them. You can start to feel his needy tongue start lapping at your cunt, dripping with his seed. Sweet, soft whines muffled by your delicious cunt.
He isn't aiming to make you cum again, so he's careful. His movements are slow and deliberate. Tongue pushed flat against your warm hole, collecting every drop from your folds. He swallows thickly, a groan leaving him.
That's when his tongue dives in. His pace is almost passive, his eyes closed. Your boyfriend lets out a soft purr as you run your fingers through his grey hair.
"Don't cum, ok, sweet thing? That's for later." He murmurs against your folds, placing a kiss against the inside of your thighs. His tongue starts once more.
He continues this pattern for 30 minutes. Denying your orgasm further, prasing you for being so sweet sounding and tasting. He cleans you thoroughly, not a drop of cum left inside of your pussy when he's done. What a sweet guy.
Tomas helps you put your clothes back on, and then it's back to the party. Passerbys glance at the two of you, and it's clear to him that mostly everyone knows what happened between the two of you. It was either the headboard slamming into the wall or your whorish moans that told them.
He couldn't care less. Because the way you look at him, almost attached to his hip brings him immense joy. Your eyes are focused on him the rest of the night, delivering teasing touches.
Tomas now found no jealousy in his heart. Everyone knew you're his. They definitely knew. The bruises on your hips from his fingers and the hickies on your neck most definitely proved that.

Oh my god, finally! I've been wanting to post here for a few days.
I'm the author of that infamous fanfic. And I wanted to say, unrelated to Hazbin, that the documentary and Drake's story, coupled with his new music video "I Kinda Relate" is the most heartbreaking and empowering thing I've ever seen. I bawled my eyes out the entire day that I found it.
In the first 28 seconds, Drake heavily implies, but doesn't show, his abuse that he suffered at the hands of his rapist, Brian Peck (who also was penpals with none other than John Wayne Gacy.)
I wanted to do nothing but hug that poor little boy, and to hug the man he is now. I want to tell him that he's beautiful and strong and brave for coming out. Male CSA victims rarely ever do. Could you imagine telling Drake then or now, that he's a *loser*? Could you imagine going about his abuse the way Viv did with Husk and Angel? He literally made his own music video that was much more tactful and empowering than Loser Baby ever will be.
I also have dirt on Dan S and that whole fucking pedo ring (I know a LOT of people in this industry. I also helped take down an ACTUAL ZOO AND PEDOPHILE with a decent amount of power a few years back.) And for anyone still confused about Drake, the girl he messaged lied about her age and he never did anything physical with her. He still acknowledges he's fucked up (please watch his hour long interview and music video) but he's "bound to make it right".
I also just want to say, to a CERTAIN PERSON, that comparing the objectively fetishisized abuse (I'm a CSA victim and into noncon), to fucking SEX ED FOR CHILDREN, is the absolute most fucking garbage and vile take I've ever seen. Poison is NOT educational. It is fetish content for Viv and Raph and others like them. If survivors and fans can turn something objectively negative into something subjectively positive, all the power to them.
Again, into noncon and a CSA victim. I also don't want to see stans taking this and telling me I'm invalid for critiquing Viv and Raph (already dealt with that in my damn fic.) I have been raped/sexually assaulted/groomed/groped/strangled/pinned down/dragged around as a child and NO ONE is ever going to tell me I'm a hypocrite or that I'm wrong for my feelings on this issue. Especially when I also have friends and my own mother as SA and CSA victims as well.
Someone like myself, or like Drake Bell, do NOT need to see how explicitly horrid our abuse was/is to understand how bad it is. I personally had panic attacks watching the episode, and having the knowledge of Raph being an unapologetic rape fetishist, was all I needed to know that that entire episode was fetish content. It's basically an adaptation of Raph's Red Smoke comic. Nearly word for word too. I've written and consumed so many stories over the years to know exactly what's going in their heads.
You know how you actually help a victim? You have friends and family and a therapist help you get out of that situation. Husk "helping" Angel was not the way to go about it.
And I've seen fans argue whether or not Viv is a rape fetishist (she is), but if she wasn't, why is she so adamant on keeping an unapologetic rape fetishist on her staff? He's confirmed to be working on season 2 (God I'm gagging thinking about it) and why does she like so much art (no hate to the artists) of sexy, fetishisized, hot, and sad art of Valentino? If he's supposedly based off HER abusive experience, why does she coddle, woobify, and downplay and sexualize him so much??? I wouldn't base a rapist character or write a rapist character as a fucking "high school Mean girl".
I'm sorry this got so long, but fuck man... it's so fucking disgusting.
Anyways, please watch this. It's got more tact and heart than fucking Poison will ever have. Drake Bell, my heart goes out to you. CSA victim to CSA victim. I hope you get better and can heal. And that goes for all victims as well. 💜🫂 (You too, Chai.)
And Brian Peck, and any and all other rapists, can burn alive in a grease fire. Val included.
https://youtu.be/I5gh8rAVLkI?si=B2eny2U4GZRgDZ7t
https://youtu.be/nSzk-MsVKqA?si=6D4rEihu89Yom7YG
Well said as always, Anon, and thank you for this.
Also, definitely seconding Brian Peck burning up in a grease fire.

@dreamingofthewild you wanted me to do the 'give me a character' thing with Astarion. Thank you 💜 I'm putting how I feel at the end. mentions of abuse/trauma. so.
All the people I ship romantically with this character - Let's see... Wyll and Shadowheart. Wyll because canonically they have a huge crush on each other and it would also be so incredibly funny for sweet upstanding pride of the gate Wyll to be with him when Astarion lives for causing chaos. Shadowheart because I think they could really help each other. Astarion would help her with her memory issues and confronting her past actions and how it's not her fault, and she'd help him understand that he's worth more than his body. I think also that both of them could learn gentle loving touch when both of them have been forced to torture and kill.
My non-romantic OTP for this character - Karlach. I almost put her in the romantic option but she desperately wants intimacy including sex and Astarion would rather not have so much, and I really think if they were in a relationship he'd just want to please her and would struggle to say no. Not because she would pressure him in any way just because he would want to fulfill her needs as well. And also Gale. I've said before, they're so similar. I couldn't ship them romantically because I feel like they'd just make each other worse. Both of them are so ambitious and want to be safe but they are looking in the wrong places for it and I think they'd drag each other down the dark path.
My unpopular opinion about this character - He doesn't woobify himself so we shouldn't either. He says he would've killed you, if you'd met at a different time. And he's right. It takes months for him to grow into a person who looks out for others. I suppose it's also unpopular to say I loathe ascended Astarion, and that includes batstarion and all of that. It's not cute. What he represents is disgusting and it is so clear to me as an abuse survivor who was abused BY another survivor that the Ascendant is a hollow caricature of the man Astarion is. It's not 'keeping him low' to have him remain a spawn. It's allowing him to keep his humanity and sweetness and build on it to become a better person for himself and others. The Ascendant is a wreck. He's more broken after the ritual than he ever was before it.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon - I think we all wish he could be cured but I wish he could also just settle somewhere? Like have a home base that he and Tav (or Durge) adventure from. Maybe outside of Baldur's Gate. Maybe in Waterdeep.
How I feel about this character - I have many, many complex feelings about Astarion. I staked him in my first playthrough because his mean streak really got my back up and annoyed me. On my next playthrough I gave him a chance this time and it felt so incredibly rewarding to get 'ah, my favourite travelling companion' in act 2. It felt like making friends with a mean cat. And then we got to Cazador. Cazador, who was so close to my own pathetic, power hungry, posturing abuser that it took my breath away a little bit. Cazador who like my own abuser would lock Astarion away because he couldn't have freedom. Who said they were family even as he hurt him. Even as he moulded him into someone else from who he had been. Someone Astarion- and I- could never go back to. Someone to mourn, when it was all over. His death is still my favourite thing in this game. I always itch for the Cazador fight as soon as I get to act 3. Seeing Astarion stab him repeatedly? Yeah. I wish I could too. But when he fell to his knees and scream sobbed... yeah. I've been there. My god I cried with him. And I was so proud of him, too. Realising he could be better than what he made him. Yeah. Then I romanced him, and was floored by how this mean, dismissive, manipulative man softens into someone not only gentle but sweet. Someone who wants desperately to love but doesn't know how, but will try, for this one person. The way he understands exactly what's happening if you enter into the pact with Haarlep, and tells Tav he's sorry, he's been there, it's not their fault and they shouldn't have to just put up with it and not to suffer alone. The way he is the ONLY person to truly understand Durge and urges them to be better if they're resisting. He was not the person I thought would be telling me, the player, what I needed to hear, and every time I just felt cracked open. That we aren't shackled to our pasts. That sometimes you never get the apology you deserve and you need to be okay with that for your own sake. That the person you are now is what counts, but you must confront the person you were and lay them to rest. He is so ride or die for the player character if you put in the time and effort for him that it just blows my mind. The minute Tav or Durge is threatened he's in his feral little crouch ready to fight for them, because they fought for him, too. That got a little out of hand. But I love Astarion so much. His story gave me the courage to start setting my own hard boundaries and as a result I broke off a five year friendship that was making my hair fall out from stress, and a few months later quit my PhD because it was ruining not only my wellbeing but also my love of writing and reading. And now I'm doing so much better. And the catalyst was Astarion's story. So yeah. I don't care if people hate him. He quite honestly changed my life. 'You're not alone in this. None of us are.'
#this got. so out of hand. i may be crying#astarion#sweet sanguineous shadow#i want to hug neil so much for this beautiful gift#tw trauma#tw abuse#mine#thank you 😭💜

Okay so I just want to say about your Vegeta caring about Krillin and Gohan post, that you're kind of overlooking some very important reasons about why Vegeta was looking out for them. The first time he runs into them, he discovers that they had some dragon balls, and threatens to kill krillin over it. When he then finds gohan, he mock's the kid's father, hits him, and then spells out that he's only sparing gohan due to believing he's only minutes away from immortality. he was actually on his way TO KILL gohan and krillin when he found out gohan denied him his wish, only stopping bc he sensed guru powering up gohan. he then only teams up with krillin and gohan bc he knows how dangerous the ginyu force is. to spell it out: once they got all the dragon balls, not only does krillin and gohan betray him, but vegeta also internally thinks to himself how they're fools and he's gonna wish for immortality and be done with them.
when he finds out that they screwed him over AGAIN, he's clearly going to follow through his intention to try and kill them until krillin agrees to get dende to make him immortal. while vegeta is (somewhat hypocritically) astonished with the beat down frieza is giving gohan, he STILL tries to leave them both to die once frieza's far more powerful in his second form than he expected. Not take them both with him, but leave them to die while he escapes. Given Krillin and Gohan were both boosted, he thought of them as useful tools to survive and beat frieza, which was why he told krillin not to help gohan to instead give HIM a zenkai boost.
tldr; Vegeta was being very pragmatic, but the actual level of care is minimal- and therefore more consistent with how he treats raditz and nappa.
Sorry to just dump this in your inbox. but i just disagree with vegeta's intentions are woobified by so many fans, in namek and saiyan saga he was the same level of ruthless, just more pragmatic in namek by necessity. while there could be implied care for gohan, krillin and vegeta aren't at all friends, especially considering all the times krillin has admitted he thought vegeta should die (in the saiyan saga, vs zarbon, and after cell becomes perfect)
like vegeta is a BAD person. he's selfish and would've killed more people had he gotten the chance during those two arcs, and it bothers me when people think him not being a dick at EVERY opportunity equates to him being kind or caring.
Don't worry, I'm aware that Vegeta wanted to backstab Krillin and Gohan. Honestly, when I wrote the post I thought I was giving Vegeta a little too much sympathy and I did consider adding the times he thought about killing Krillin and Gohan to make it fair, but I decided that bogged down the post when the actual question was “why did Vegeta expend more effort on preserving Krillin and Gohan's lives than Raditz and Nappa's when he’d known the former for 1 month and the latter for 25 years?”
Honestly, I think that parkergeorg has a solid explanation of it. Hopefully that has logic that works better for you, since it comes down to it being situational and a result of Vegeta actually being concerned enough about Freeza to realize he needs allies rather than taking allies for granted/using them as a demonstration of how strong he is.
I will say that although you're right about most of Vegeta being shitty to Krillin and Gohan (trying to kill them before the team up, plotting to kill them after they'd teamed up, going to go kill them once they'd taken the dragon balls), this part:
"he STILL tries to leave them both to die once frieza's far more powerful in his second form than he expected. Not take them both with him, but leave them to die while he escapes."
is anime filler, and I'm not even sure if it made it into Kai? It's definitely not in the manga; Vegeta doesn't try and leave the fight. He definitely did do all of those other terrible things though.
"tldr; Vegeta was being very pragmatic, but the actual level of care is minimal- and therefore more consistent with how he treats raditz and nappa."
I'm cool with that explanation. I still think that he put more effort into keeping Gohan alive than Raditz or Nappa, because there was genuinely no reason to save Gohan from fourth form Freeza, or alert them to where Freeza was, but I'd accept that Vegeta's willingness to backstab them both balances it out. I should have been more explicit in the original post that "there wasn't a difference in how he treated them" was a valid response. I do think there's a recognizable difference, but that doesn't mean you have to agree with me.
"Sorry to just dump this in your inbox. but i just disagree with vegeta's intentions are woobified by so many fans, in namek and saiyan saga he was the same level of ruthless, just more pragmatic in namek by necessity."
I don't mind, don't worry. I have seen what you mean about woobifying him, I find it annoying even though I occasionally do it myself (probably inevitable for a favorite character), and that wasn't what the intent of the post was. I did try and propose the purely pragmatic explanations of Vegeta's behavior, but I guess I didn't give it as much focus. I will say that I still think he's lying when he says he doesn't care/that he saved them to show off/whatever, but as parkersgeorg pointed out, the lie doesn't have to be to cover for caring for them in a way that involves actual concern for others. He could just as easily be avoiding admitting that he might need help later because that's humiliating and he's supposed to need no one.
"like vegeta is a BAD person. he's selfish and would've killed more people had he gotten the chance during those two arcs, and it bothers me when people think him not being a dick at EVERY opportunity equates to him being kind or caring."
I know he's awful, it's a solid part of what makes him compelling as a character. It makes the times where he chooses not to be awful more interesting by contrast, which is why I made the original post, along with the comparison to how he treated his other allies. However, you're right that there's a reasonable enough pragmatic explanation for trying to keep Gohan and Krillin alive, barring the final save with Gohan, and that could still be argued as preserving an ally in case he needs him later. I certainly wouldn't call his actions kind or caring even if he did save them out of respect instead of pragmatism though. When I say care, I mean it also in the sense that I care when my favorite tools break, but it's certainly not the way I care about a person. It covers a wide range of emotional investment, that he could be at any level of.
There's another post around somewhere that points out that because we expect Vegeta to be the worst all the time, when he doesn't live all the way down to those expectations it's a pleasant surprise, so it feels like he's done way better than less than the bare minimum. That's what causes the phenomena you've noticed. However, I'm still curious about when/why he is a dick and when/why he isn't a dick, as well as wtf is going on with his worldview, so I made the post, and I got some interesting explanations out of it. I think your perspective on it is worthwhile too so I'll post this.

It’s July! Couldn’t write any shorter replies over the weekends, let’s catch up a little bit.
Most of them are related to things that we posted lately, but not all of them.
Starting with the Lilidia comic from yesterday.
Anonymous asked:
I feel disappointed in myself for thinking ilia and idia pic was going to be nsfw and doing all sort of stuff so I can see it with out anyone else.seeing what I'm looking at (in public)
Don’t be disappointed in yourself, Anon, this is the exact reaction that I wanted to get from this comic… Sometimes their gaming sessions get very heated and intense~
It’s been a while since we posted anything spicy with these two though, that’s true 🤔
Anonymous asked:
Istg, even when Idia’s DRUNK he sounds adorable.
(related to this hc post)
He is just way too much of a babygirl, isn’t he, Anon? Maybe it’s because I just can’t stop woobifying him lol But he really would be absolutely helpless against alcohol… Someone should record his drunk mumbling…
Anonymous asked:
lol is this comic a "what if" of book 4 where Riddle accepts Floyd's offer to stay with Octavinelle during winter break? Have fun goldfishie!
(this is related to this comiс)
YES!!! I’m glad you noticed! I couldn’t stop thinking about this scenario. Poor fishies are bored out of their minds celebrating the new years together, adding Riddle would make the dynamic so fun and fresh! At least for Floyd, I guess…
I drew this sketch in March, and now it’s July… winter break never ends 😎 happy new year!
Anonymous asked:
1. I just have this very strong feeling that Floyd got Riddle drunk for that exact reason.
2. I also have a strong feeling that Riddle's gonna come to in the morning and not know what just happened or what to do next besides blow his top and start screaming or something.
You are absolutely right, Anon, especially when it comes to the second thing lol Riddle is going to have an amazing beginning of the year. He experienced so many new things the night before…! And he remembers none of them. He does feel hangover + some other interesting sensations in his other regions though…
Anonymous asked:
Crewel would be my fave teacher, doesn't matter how mean he is. He just seems like someone interesting to be around.
Do y'all like Crewel in a way like that? Or any other teacher?
(this is related to this pic)
I agree, Anon! Crewel does seem like a scary but very cool teacher, who is young enough to feel somewhat relatable but also old enough to have this feel of “I’ve seen things, you all are just pups” lol
The comic was actually inspired by the thing my English teacher at the uni said to us instead of his introduction. He was about Crewel’s age, liked to dress up and bullied the boys a little bit lol I don’t know, he was professional but also a bit unprofessional at the same time because teaching us wasn’t his main source of income, so he basically just wanted us to know English and was an asshole about it all the time. But in a motivational way, I guess. He was also that one teacher that told me that I should draw for a living instead of being a sociologist.
Personal stories aside, I think my favourite teacher would be Trein LOL I used to fall asleep during classes all the time, so it would be difficult for me to stay awake during his lectures, and he is also hella strict, but I love winning over this type of teachers. It’s fun when they are mad at everyone except for you.
And Katsu finds teachers like Crewel to be scary and is a bit intimidated (literally said “terrified”) by him… Katsu would also be very distracted by his whole BDSM thing lol
Anonymous asked:
He just needs to sleep with Deuce that'll wake him up
Sleeping with Deuce is better than drinking coffee…! It could also distract Crewel from the lesson and give the rest of the class 40 minutes of free time lol I think Deuce should take this “bullet” for the boys.

(¿spolier chapter 7?) I saw Kalim's new clothing and thought about your Sultan looking for heir-Jamil please rethink your lifechoices-AU (I need to see how Jamil's plan ends up biting him in the butt in that AU.. Jami mama). By the way, what do you think Kalim's dream will be like? I think he already inherited his family's wealth (what!?), that dream Jamil remains a mystery tho.... whatsoever, It's going to be distressing, juicy and long-suffering Kalijami! (the best Kalijami imo!)
The attire really is similar! Well, no surprises here, since I based Kalim’s and Jamil’s clothing on the Sultan’s and Jafar’s, but still, it’s cool to see Kalim dressed like that. I am also happy to hear that you like this AU! Jamil’s plan is inevitably going to bite him in the butt, this is how things always are with Jamil lol
Since we haven’t read any of ch7 yet, I really can’t answer your question. While it’s inevitable to see snippets here and there, we don’t know anything about how the dreams work yet (no spoilers please). But you’ll find it out soon enough anyway!
Anonymous asked:
It's no secret you guys enjoy horror and gore! Somehow you draw it so beautiful *chef kiss*
I was wondering, have you guys ever seen/played Boyfriend to Death(+2) and The Price of Flesh?
It has a bunch of horror and gore in it dark all over and ofc it being an 18+ game there is 👀 you know 👀. But the characters are what's so great about it !
I really like Ren of out of all of them <3
If you do check it out, I highly recommend you check out their warning charts for the characters routes just in case because it does get VERY dark ( maybe I am over dramatic here but I don't know how else to put it without spoiling certain parts of the characters)
But also reading the about info on the carrd I don't think the warnings would be an issue ✨ but I thought I'd mention it just in case you two wanted to look it over!
I recently got into it and your account was the first thing that popped into mind when I finished playing the first two games ✨
Anon!! <3 I’m happy you like our horror stuff! And I am also very happy that you think of our account when you get into some creepy and messed-up stuff, this is super flattering to be honest lol
So thank you for the recommendations! We haven’t played/seen anything that you’ve mentioned, but it does sound promising with how you’re describing it. We’ll look into it, even though I can’t promise anything… still, it’s very appreciated!
Thank you again for your ask and for thinking about us.

I'm watching the new Helluvaboss episode, and thus far it's worrying (though unsurprising) that all the blame is being put on Blitz. The writers have gotten better at handling interpersonal conflict, but they're still off base.
While it was kind of Stolas to gift Blitz a new way to Earth, he did ambush Blitz into making a decision. The agreement was for Blitz to come over for rowdy sex, therefore of course he would assume that to be what was happening.
That said, I think it's interesting (and very twisted) that Stolas has turned around to be angry at Blitz. Remember, Stolas' motivations behind the gift was (1) an expectation of immediate unconditional love, (2) explicitly stated desire for distraction from his divorce via pursuit of his fantasy romance, and (3) evidence that he is not the “Kind of monster” who coerces people into sex.
For Stolas to be angry is him blaming Blitz for failing to live up to the fantasy as well as acting as a handy scapegoat for who was the “monster” of their arrangement.
Do I think Blitz was in the wrong for yelling? Uhm…. Maybe a little? Not a lot? He acted outraged in an outrageous situation, and to put the owness on him to male amends is rather callous. He should apologize for the projective accusations, but the conflict was primarily Stolas' fault.
I think the writing decision to not capitalize on this is because the series has a weird habit of trying to woobify powerful people and demonize (ha ha) the ones who explicitly have a problem with the status quo. Osmodious and Stolas are supposed to be benevolent massively powerful people whereas Greed Clown and Mean Mamma are the characters set as obvious antgonists— but both of our ostensively good power heads are rather cruel to those under them. Stolas with his imp butler (who gets tossed around and has his work repeatedly destroyed) and Osmodious with the whole of his staff (threatening physical violence against them all and yelling at them for being in public spaces while he's doing ✨secret stuff✨). I mention these because the narrative takes no issue with either individuals as compared to literally anyone under them.
If the clown contest episode had followed Mammon as the protagonist, the narrative would have vilified Fix as the bad guy being a Big Meant for ruining Mammon's suuuper important show, that is ALL I am saying.
Back to the current episode, Stolas faults Blitz for knowing someone was trying to assassinate him, even though Stolas has previously hired Blitz to protect him against assassination. The more I think about it, the more Stolas comes across as an emotionally abusive gaslighter.
Which the show won’t capitalize on because it's would ruin the fun easy going mood of the show. Mean Mamma being obviously abusive is fine because it's dramatic and flashy, but reflecting on Stolas' own abusive behaviors would get in the way of people,s ability to enjoy him, so instead it's melodrama time.
#If they go on to have Stolas reflect on his own misgivings#than I'll be pleasantly surprised#Surprise me please#Alighted Reacts

I apologize in advance for this seeming jumbled; I haven't been in the closet for ten years as a thirty-one year old but love your work in the Bucky/Buck fandom. I like that, depending on what story you wish to tell with them, either Bucky is out first or Buck is and was curious on your opinion on that and why you chose that. Bucky is only seemingly closeted in KFAK and in every universe you've written Buck has clearly been with men even if he feels conflicted about it.
I love this question!!!!
The long and short of it is, I just like playing with them like Barbie Dolls. It's fun slapping them with different lived experiences across aus and seeing how that affects their personalities and their dynamics.
In my eyes Bucky is so gregarious that the only way he wouldn't be out is if the time period demanded he not take a deeper look at himself. For Buck....it's more complicated and comes out of spite tbh.
In my Very Long Time in fandom i find that people love to pick one side of a ship and completely woobify them into this blushing tiny dainty virgin. They heterosexualize the ship and (generally, I'll buy anything if someone can sell me on it) I hate that shit.
And i see it with Buck a lot. Because he's 2 inches shorter than Callum and has a trim waist or whatever.
Gale is a man, he's an adult and he has wants and desires and he's not this sweet innocent thing. I do think he's deeply repressed for sure, but I like giving him some experience with men because it makes him feel more like a Real Person and not just this blonde twink to project your fantasies onto. Thats why I emphasize so much in Little Beasts especially that he's broad and strong and masculine and has body hair and has desires and he's submissive to John because he's SHY and REPRESSED and not because he does not also want to bend that boy over.
Spoiler: he will be bending that boy over in the future <3
For Kingdom for a Kiss my goal was to as accurately as possible, without sacrificing drama, paint a picture of what a gay man might really have lived like in the 1940's. There's some idyllic-ness to it for sure because there's only so much whump I can pule in KfaK Gale until even I have to say 'okay that's enough'
But it's a reflective story of so many experiences, and yes he had to live carefully but people were living and being gay at that time. It was risky and terrifying but they were doing it. And I didn't want to deny Gale that.
There's a great book i'm reading that's a firsthand account of what it was like being gay and in the community in the 1940's and during the war. It's a quick read but it really solidifies a lot of my assumptions about what Gale would have experienced as a (technically*) out Gay man.
My ultimate goal as a writer (debatable title) is to make the characters feel as real and grounded as possible. I want nuance, I want realism. I want quirks about them and things that don't matter to know except it shows you that they are complex individuals. Nobody is made for someone, there is no one person who is right for you. So to lock Buck into only being this thing that Bucky alone has seen and experienced in a sexual manner like yeah it does sometimes happen and I do find when done well it's enjoyable to read Gale exploding and discovering his sexuality, In my own work I like to explore them both as fully realized sexual beings coming together.
And you'll find in KfaK in the future that John is going to have some lived experiences that Gale does not :)
*he's not publicly out of course. But he is to marge and john and irene and he acknowledges what he is and he engages in intercourse with other men.

Honestly your analysis on Wyrm culture and PK gave me a lot of inspiration on how view him. I don’t mind him woobified if that’s how some fans like him, but really breaking him down, I can’t ignore the facts with him. I find myself enjoying viewing him in a more antagonistic role with how views himself and others. By Wym merits—regardless of how neurodivergent he is compared to most of his kind—he is a conqueror. His function is to build a kingdom and build it well.
I also love how you view him hating his Wyrm instincts and suppressing them, but at the end of the day, you can only fight your instincts so long.
I don’t want to ramble too much as I would probably just go on discussing Herrah and Lurien as well.
Very glad you enjoy my interpretation of him, anon! I've been writing stuff with him in it since like, November 2019 so it means a lot to hear that people like how I write him given the time I've put into trying to understand and flesh out his character from the hints we get in canon. He's a conquerer and he has some pretty terrible ideas about self-worth, but he loves so deeply and the results of that love are what make him truely monsterous. Very fun guy to play around with, esp. with the added 'dragon in man's clothing' deal he has going on.
Personally I dislike the more recent trend of woobifying him just bc he canonically felt super guilty about mass murder, but that's based entirely on the fact that I like him BECAUSE he's tragic and a deeply flawed, fucked up, terrible person, so it's more just not my thing. But I will take woobified PK ANY day over how the fandom was when I first joined, where people seemed to unanimously think he was the epitome of misogynistic evil intentionally abusive straight white male capitalist who kicked the vessels into the Abyss as well as being a colonizer of Hallownest, and if you liked him you'd have to list all his faults and say you don't support him every other breath and if you contradicted the fanon idea of him you'd get slammed for it (people thought that him being 'The Pale King' and his wife 'The White Lady' was direct proof that he was a colonizer who genocided the moths....when the reality is that they're just both literally white. I have seen only one person deal with this take with any sort of nuance, the rest was...oh boy it was bad). They're probably still out there and just have me blocked, but the trend of people viewing PK as a pathetic little man has increased to the point where I think they're in the minority now. Which is a relief, because while I can understand hating PK, you at least should get his character right. And he canonically IS a pathetic little man. I just want to kick him down a flight of stairs and set him on fire with a blowtorch rather than swing him around like a stinky little ferret
I'm ALWAYS down for hearing rambles about Herrah and Lurien though!!! Especially Lurien. Please god the Lurien fanclub is like 2.5 people we're dying like flies out here scoob
#hollow knight#that i project all my worst parts heavily onto pk probs has a lot to do with me not liking the woobifying#but at its core? its harmless. and is usually a different way of making fun of how he was in canon. so ive got no beef with it#i just want more legitimatly awful pk except his awfulness is born in love and he doesnt realize its harmful bc its a perpetualization of#the cycle of abuse he did to *himself*#the pale king#anon#reply#but yeah all the more power to y'all i just dont understand the appeal of him outside of him being terrible

AUGH Pokemon Scar/Vio DLC spoilers below bc I'm NOT gonna have anyone to talk about this with for a little while LMFAOOO
God I wish when Kieran ran off with the mask, challenged you to a battle to get it back, and lost that battle. I DESPERATELY WISH he just ran off with the mask again anyway. LIKE. For one could you imagine how fucking funny that would have been LMFAO but also!!!!! I think something like that happening would have absolutely raised the stakes, AND would have given you a reason to be mad at him. I think, what Kieran needed MOST as a character and the development they're taking with him, is for him to have moments where he doubles down and is stubborn and bratty.
LIKE. This is going to get SO incoherent LMFAO but I'm thinking about Hortensia Fire Emblem's whole character arc, where you meet her and she's bratty right off the bat. But the thing that GETS me about her is that she doubles down. She's stubborn. And you see Why, you see her scared and hurt and traumatized as she's trying to figure out what to do next. And what REALLY makes her character to me, is when not even Ivy being on your side is enough for her to join you. She still needs time. And by "time", I mean needs to keep digging her grave deeper because she just can't stop yet. LIKE. She's acting out. Which isn't me invalidating anything, like, I'm struggling to find the words for it but she's just 14 about it you know. Something SO horrible has happened and you feel SO MUCH about it that not even your older sister can talk sense into you, at least not right now.
I THINK. The connection I want to make here is that I think Kieran has SO MUCH POTENTIAL as a blooming antagonistic character, he just NEEDED a moment like Hortensia has with Ivy. Where she doubles down on her path. And I think Kieran, maybe initially planning on keeping his word... when you defeat him, and everything just wells up inside and overtakes him. I think THAT would have been a fantastic and shocking moment, if you could see him make that decision to Make Things Worse in real time. And I can only IMAGINE the reaction that would have gotten out of Carmine too!!!
AND. CARMINE. CARMINE. I FIND HER SO FASCINATING. LIKE. Yeah yeah overheard a conversation/misunderstanding tropes are cliche and can be super annoying as a storytelling device. AUGH BUT I FEEL LIKE IT COULD ACTUALLY WORK FOR THEM..... with how both of them Are. I think Carmine and Kieran have SUCH incompatible personalities and there is SO much to explore there. Like. It's established as soon as you meet them, that they must be close and care for each other. You see it in how Carmine looks after Kieran, speaking up for him when he's struggling to, and you see how Kieran admires and looks up to her as he cheers her on in battle. But you ALSO see that Carmine has the emotional intelligence of a brick and she is naturally just. Abrasive and temperamental, with an ego. ALL. HORRIBLE TRAITS TO HAVE IN ONE REALLY HAHAH (I love her though). And you see that Kieran is EXTREMELY sensitive, shy and mopey.
BUT ALSO. WHAT GETS ME ABOUT KIERAN ACTUALLY. Is how you See those traits evolve and twist into more detrimental versions of themselves. AND you start seeing some Similarities he has with Carmine. He also is temperamental. He also has an ego. THIS. WAS SO COOL TO SEE TBH!!! Espppp seeing the uglier aspects of being "shy" and "sensitive". Traits that are really easy to make endearing and to woobify. It's easy to look over just how destructive these traits can get, when you take things too personally and then shut yourself off completely. AND. THE EGO. ADDED ONTO THIS. The fact that he IS a sore loser, the fact that he DOES get bratty about it. Like, I think another thing I really appreciate about Kieran is he acts his age. He quickly starts to feel like the entire world is against him AND he's 14 about it.
In turn, I think I really appreciate how Carmine is so much just an older sister. Like. Yeah, she has a temper and an ego. But also, I think you see that she's a pretty good sport actually. She's competitive, but she's not actually holding anything against you (beyond like, her frustrations about her home town feeling like a tourist spot -- which like! I think is reasonable actually, to dislike that). Like. She's abrasive, she's prideful, but ultimately she does have an air of maturity. She is Not 14 about it. On account of not being 14, unlike her little brother LMFAOOO (ALSO!!! I think it's clear how much she Does care too, how she does end up looking out for you, how she congratulates you and hypes you up... like!!! She's just a little bit of a jackass LMFAO but I love her for it)
And like ultimately maybe all this is just set up for a slow burn, as Kieran goes sicko mode LMFAO but I REALLY wish. There was at least ONE moment where he did something that's just a dick move. And REALLY digs his heels in. Makes it clear, compromise is NOT an option for him, not right now. That, for a while, no one is going to be able to reach him, not even his sister. He just needs to get it out of his system.
Plus, I think it would be incredibly useful for the player to have a reason to be mad at him, because GOD. I HATE. MORE THAN ANYTHING. When Pokemon gives you rivals you just feel bad for!!!!!! Like I just pity him!!!! I think he's right to feel the way he does and I think he has every right to act out. And like, I think I'd Still feel that way actually, if he did actively make bad choices that just makes everything worse and Isn't particularly palatable about it LMFAO. BUT. At VERY least, if he pulled a dick move, I can have something justifiable to want to fight him over. Lowkey Takumi feelings actually, where one of my favorite things about him is When he's an asshole, and it IS entirely on him, like... it's vindicating to see other characters push back. I, as the player, want the characters to get his ass for it. And it's rewarding, when he does come around (either immediately or after some time), and tries to make up for it. Like.... give me a reason to WANT to get Kieran's ass. Piss EVERYONE off in the process, ESPECIALLY your sister for the angst and drama of it all!! I just feel like I stomped on a little autistic boy's dream and stole away the object of his special interest HSKAHKSHA dude THIS SUCKS 😭😭😭😭😭
AUGH!!!!!!!!!! Anyway misc thoughts
The townspeople's turnaround about the ogre off screen was SO STUPID LMFAOOO LIKE. Like yeah yeah Pokemon game......... but you know what else was a Pokemon game. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. LIKE AGSJHSJSJSJJ I FEEL LIKE SUUUUCH A CRAZY RAMBLY OLD MAN but Pokemon Scarlet/Violet HAD THE POTENTIAL. TO BE ON THAT LEVEL. I THINK. PERSONALLY. ON A STORYTELLING FRONT. And AGAIN I feel like there could have been potential here.
Like I think the main issue is the story even in the canon itself took place in too short of a time to develop in the way I think it deserved. But I'm thinking about the whole Process in PMD2 of returning from the Future, you, your partner, and Grovyle. How the three of you Can't just go back to the guild, especially Grovyle in tow, a wanted outlaw in this time period. How it takes days, of laying low, planning carefully, gathering intel, and hitting a wall, before finally deciding you really have no where else to turn BUT Wiggletuff's Guild. AND. AND. THE WHOLE PROCESS. THAT WHOLE THING CHATOT PUTS YOU THROUGH. AFTER TELLING YOUR STORY. Where Every Single Guild Member Individually has to decide, no, Chatot, I'm with Hero and Partner actually. Up against The Great Dusknoir's reputation, Grovyle's reputation, and your standing as the most recent additions to the guild versus Chatot's standing, Wiggletuff's right hand man, second in command, a respected authority figure.
LIKE........ I just think. With the folklore surrounding Ogrepon and the Loyal Three. Even if they didn't have That Much Time to build up to it exactly like that (speaking canonically, school trip constraints), I think. Even just a scene where You're part of trying to tell the town the truth about Ogrepon and the Loyal Three, AND you see the inital pushback, especially from an authority figure (maybe the Caretaker?) would have been enough. Especially would have been nice to see, instead of every NPC talking about how they got things wrong -- if there was divide and conflict, some believing you and feeling regretful towards how Ogrepon was treated, and others not believing you at all, ESPECIALLY as an outsider, who are you to tell us our history? AND even a few NPCs who are on your side, but are still in a state of disbelief or feeling betrayed. Like. Make us feel the weight of Why Carmine and Kieran's family kept this a secret for generations. (ALSO LITERALLY DIDN'T THEIR ANCESTOR TRY TO TELL THE TRUTH AND WAS HARSHLY DISMISSED AND CRITICIZED???? Why would Kieran be treated differently now for doing the same thing???????)
I guess last thoughts about Carmine and Kieran I didn't get to earlier but. I think you can See, as the story plays out, where there is this building frustration that turns to resentment from Kieran, towards how Carmine treats him. How, while she does speak up for him, she also speaks over him. What she sees as probably tough love or standard older-sibling teasing, HE takes it just. So personally. And it festers. It seems he feels ignored, dismissed and invalidated -- and his dialogues where he is mopey, and Carmine (almost on the right track), calls it for what it is -- her baby brother just being a baby. Like, I say "Almost on the right track", because in a way she Is Right. He's Very Loudly sulking and pouting, she sees this and sees he's being 14 about it. But she fails to consider just how much Kieran internalizes this treatment, of being teased and having others around you be told "He'll get over it". WHICH... even if he does. Even if he will. Something that JUMPS out to me IS how loudly he's moping and sulking, how dramatic it is. To me, it's like a cry for attention, for someone to listen to him and take his feelings seriously.
THIS. IS WHAT I MEANT BEFORE. When I talked about how the misunderstanding trope actually lends itself SO well to these two characters, as siblings who do love each other, but there IS this emotional distance. Where Carmine looks over Kieran's feelings, and doesn't know what to do with them, and Kieran is going to internalize all of this until he implodes. And when he DOES implode, when it feels like his entire world is crashing and burning around him (in a way, it IS his whole world!)... he doesn't trust her at all. Whether Carmine meant to or not (which, I don't think she has ever meant to hurt him, I do think it's the incompatibility), Kieran has been made to feel like he's an outcast, like his feelings don't matter, and no matter what he does, no one is going to listen to him or care about him. WHICH IS. AGAIN. WHY. I THINK HE NEEDS TO FUCK SHIT UP MORE. That is the GO TO thing to do when you're a kid and you feel this way LMFAOOO
Aughghhh........ Pokemon Scarlet and Violet you have so much potential I just wish you'd FOLLOW THROUGH and PUT YOUR WHOLE PUSSY INTO IT (AND MAYBE THEY WILL. IN THE FUTURE. THIS IS THE FIRST DLC. HOWEVER. I do think there are certain areas in general, like the ogre ordeal, where they just dropped the ball 😔)
#pokemon#pokemon scarlet and violet#pokemon carmine#pokemon kieran#i am. maybe a little bit predictable. when it comes to which characters drive me to madness LMFAOOO#i love pokemon scarvi. i can't recommend it wholeheartedly in good conscious due to The Quality (or lack thereof)#it's like being a sonic fan circa early 2000s again. it's awesome#but goddammit there are CHARACTERS IN THERE and I LIKE THEM‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
