Dusk, as far as most people know, focuses on melee combat. Any time he's doing something dangerous, he is seen hip-deep in the danger, fighting with gunblade, greatsword, or spear. He subconsciously feels obligated to be somewhere in front, always, as the Warrior of Light.

At one point, though, he picked up machinist. Initially it was to see if it would improve his aim in the rare cases he has to fire his gunblade at range, and also to just help Stephanivien out, since he liked the man's outlook on life.

What no one knows, though, is Dusk is actually really good at it. And it's such a departure from his usual, it's likely no one ever will.
