More hsr landau siblings g/t thoughts- now with more pain!

Serval finding a shrunken Lynx and panicking about her sister being so small and worrying about how hurt she could get, so just grabbing her and holding her close.

What's so bad about that?

Lynx isn't used to everything being so big, and Serval holding her so protectively is kinda tight and she really can't even move. So now she's scared and panicking because she doesn't want to get hurt either and the tight grip has her thinking she will. And Serval isn't listening when she asks to be let go of.

They probably both are just overall freaked out and on edge for awhile. Serval eventually puts her on a table in her workshop, but won't let her get off the table. Takes Serval a bit to trust Lynx to be out of her sight, she's a protective older sibling and doesn't want her extra little sister to be hurt. Lynx probably panics whenever she gets suddenly grabbed by Serval, who does it whenever she thinks Lynx is trying to leave or just feels she could get hurt (maybe playing with gadgets in her workshop)

Eventually they both calm down. Serval stops being so protective and stops grabbing lynx whenever she tries to run, Lynx relaxes and just gets used to navigating around the workshop

Anyway I just want sibling pain that turns sweet later and they probably get a cute nap or something, then the awkwardness of telling their brother what happened.

the safest option, really. they already considered him family long before your heart started fluttering around the househelper.

"well, it's honestly about time. ayaka and i have long noticed your affections for thoma," ayato smirks as you two turn red, "don't think i don't know what's going on in my own household, do you?"

not much would change after having your relationship official; thoma might be the only one to experience the change in people's treatment of him as the three kamisatos encourage him to be more proud in his status!

"we're going to get married, don't let people trample over you like that!" you pout. surprisingly enough, thoma is quick to adjust to a "noble behavior" while still keeping his friendly boyish charms.

thoma might be the only one a little more open to the idea. sure, he's sad but he respects your choice and who you love.

"Mondstadt is a great place. I'm sure it'll be a home for you, just like how Inazuma became a home for me."

ayato is more or less suspicious. "I've heard... rumors," he says carefully, "That man is suspicious to say the least. I'm not sure I trust him."

all in all, with how closed off inazuma seems to be, the kamisatos would be most reluctant to send you off to another nation for some solitary man with a questionable schedule.

you really don't need him -your siblings would try to convince you- he has money? the kamisatos have money too. he's someone of rank? so does your siblings. what do you mean you love him so much?

"He's a family kind of guy! He's really sweet!" you'll plead and they'll still shake their heads no.

In fact, Ayato would go on a thorough investigation about exactly what the harbinger has been up to. From the incident in liyue to the homicidal tendencies.

the scribe of the academia is a fine man, but some call him a... lunatic.

this one is a 50/50.

admittedly, your siblings are content with his status and background. he works under sumeru's government, just like the kamisatos, and was nominated for the highest ranking position only second to an archon.

he works rationally too! smart and efficient. that's great— but why is he such a blunt smartass?

Throughout the meeting with him, Ayato has a plastered smile on his face. Each conversation seems like a landmine, waiting to explode, trying to best the other with words.

Ayaka is more or less nervously sweating beside them, but you suppose you're glad that they're getting along!

oh? the general of watatsumi? an interesting choice!

ayato considers it a political win. with the kamisato name tied together with the general of watatsumi island, this could lead to better peace relations! and the kamisatos would be the head of it all.

being a general is no easy task, thats something ayato could greatly respect. meanwhile, ayaka and gorou are already familiar friends!

it's a little sad that watatsumi is on another island, but at least you get to stay in inazuma! you're also happy that you get to contribute to inazumas progressive politics as part of the kamisato household, living up to your duty.

while a good friend of the kamisato household, kazuha has already left the noble lifestyle of the kaedeharas.

it's not that your siblings want you to marry into nobility, it's just that they'll feel more comfortable if you were in a familiar environment.

meanwhile, kazuha is constantly on the move, never staying at one place. they trust him immensely but are you sure you're up for that change?

kazuha is a good choice, but a worrisome one nonetheless.

H tries to get L to talk about why he was gone/what he went through, but L isn’t ready. They continue to go on missions, but L is falling apart. Maybe he’s having nightmares, flashbacks, etc. Whoever held L captive ends up finding him again and takes him back. He either escapes again or H finds him. The author can obviously add stuff! This is more like an outline, maybe? Preferably omega L & alpha H, but ultimately up to author. Would love to see the other boys in it too, but that’s up to the author as well! [possessive & jealous h, sassy & tough l] L can be feminized, but preferably not too much.

“What is this?”

They’re like a spectacle, a celebration. Multiple light spells illuminate the somber archives, brighter than any light glyphs they could ever make. Brighter than the actual stars in the sky above. Beautiful in every way.

His chest sinks.

That can only mean one thing.

He doesn’t want it to be true.

“Hunter?” Someone calls him. “What’s wrong?”

The boy’s trembling hand fists his wolf t-shirt, right where his heart beats, where Flapjack lives on, grieving.

Hunter only has one name in his head.

“... Luz.”

He can tell everyone grows tense and that they probably don’t need any more details to understand what happened.

Because they all saw it before.

Hunter is half aware Gus is trying to comfort him, rubbing his back, while Amity and Willow rely on each other, the two of them openly crying. Only then does Hunter realize that tears also roll down his scarred face, albeit quietly.

But the worst part of all of this is that Luz is not even here.

She’s not here like Flapjack is.

Luz is gone.

Gone.

He lost someone important again.

He couldn’t tell her…

…

One of the many bright spells flies close to him, so much that Hunter is able to take it in his hands. He can feel the warm magic within it, such a reassuring approach that it’s almost like someone is calming him down after a nightmare.

“What do you do when you’re having a bad dream?”

Like she’s telling him the same thing.

The light fades all too quickly.

Hunter only cries more, of course.

They take quite some time mourning, as they should, until the light spells are gone for good. Hunter breathes in deeply, comforted by Flapjack’s love, which is also fed by Luz’s love.

And there’s only one thing Hunter can do to retribute.

“There’s no more time. We have to fight back,” he reminds everyone. “For Flapjack… and for Luz.”

His friends are certainly not recovered from the harsh blow, and Hunter even less, but they all regain composure to complete their duty of freeing everyone else. They need to save as many people as they can.

No, nothing is hopeless just yet.

Because Luz would never give up.

And none of them will.

So, they do their best.

She believes in them, and she believes in him.

And he trusts her more than anything.

That’s the least he can do.

The Owl House is a mess, but it’s home.

Eda and Raine - and King - share the former’s old nest, somehow more comforting than all the beds Luz has ever slept on. She smiles in absolute relief, sighing deeply in exhaustion. She can’t help wondering how her mother and her friends are doing now…

Right on time, The Collector arrives with Lilith, followed by Mom, Gus, Willow, Amity, and Hunter. They all rush to hug her in said order, until it becomes a tearful and laughing group hug. Besides Eda and King, they also helped her realize her worth.

That is, when Luz notices someone is missing.

Someone still stands in the door, brown eyes growing deep, like they bear the knowledge of the Titan.

Luz’s smile fades, and the others seem to catch on since they let her go.

“Hunter, are you okay?” She asks, approaching tentatively.

He’s clutching his t-shirt, a place where Luz already knows. She doesn’t understand why he’s looking at her like that. When Hunter frowns, she shivers because she remembers that bad dream, when the older teen was angry at her for losing everything in order to help her. No, it wasn’t real, but it’s certainly not a pleasant memory.

When Hunter stumbles forward, Luz doesn’t know what to expect.

Thus, she freezes as thicker arms wrap around her the tightest anyone has ever hugged her, her face buried in his shoulder. She’s nearly on tiptoe given their height difference, and it’s so odd.

To make her even more speechless, Hunter sniffs.

“I thought I’d lost you too,” he whispers, voice breaking just like when Flapjack was gone.

Luz’s eyes refill with tears, finally realizing why Hunter is so distraught. She remembers her body transforming into magic, her fading away into the dark, doomed Boiling Isles. That was how she got to meet the Titan, after all.

Of course Hunter would know. Of course he would be terrified and sad to find out she was dead. Still, some part of her can’t help fearing that he would be angry with her, even after everything they’ve been through together.

Luz clings to him in return, feeling… protected. Yes, she defeated a god-like Belos - with her family’s help, of course -, but in the end she’s only a teenage girl who has been haunted by her mistakes for months, years even. And Hunter was one of the few people that she knew for sure that wouldn’t abandon her.

She wasn’t… scared when she died. However, Luz still can’t believe it really happened, and that’s why she’s crying and why they hold each other as if the world outside doesn’t exist, and it’s only Luz, Hunter, and Flapjack’s own little home.

“I’m sorry,” Luz mumbles, not specifying.

“No, no…” Hunter sniffs again, louder, and pulls back a little. “I just… I gotta make sure you’re safe too, you know?” He blushes and smiles. “You’re family.”

Luz laughs wetly. “Y-Yeah. Yeah…”

Even though everyone is watching them with knowing looks - especially Eda and her teasing smirk -, Luz and Hunter share messy tears, like when they did in their abandoned house. As she cleans his tears, she also feels his scars in her fingertips, which causes his cheeks and pointy ears to flush red. Luz smirks, only for Hunter to return the gesture by acknowledging the very small scar above her left eye, one that’s barely perceived.

Besides the opposite experiences, they feel… complete, together.

“Yeah…” Luz repeats, sighing. “We’re family.

ok so swifty anon has inspired me to write some angst headcanons for the papas and their views on relationships and their sad girl song if I know a good one off the top of my head (I don’t know if these would count as sad girl song but they have good angst and crying potential so I’m calling them that).

primo: is single and likes it that way. He spent most of his young life looking after and mentoring his little brothers because nihil was absent and never got around to actually dating anyone as a teen/young adult since he basically had to be a father since age 12+. When he did get around to it he simply couldn’t stand having to care for yet another person if they were emotionally demanding and he realized that romance just wasn’t for him. He does have a few siblings of sin he regularly hangs out with in his garden or around the abbey and considers them better then any romantic relationship he could have and they make sure to invite him to as much stuff as they can so he doesn’t feel left out (even if de declines most of the stuff). It's disappointing to nihil’s eyes that he ended up like this since he would’ve been the best son to carry on the emeritus line but that ship has sailed and it’s directly his fault and he knows it.

Sad girl song: The Bug Collector by Haley Heyndrickx

secundo: craves unconditional romantic love and attention from someone sooooo bad. He never grew up with a real mom to teach him the ins and outs of what being in love is like so the next best thing he had was nihil and you can guess how that turned out for him. It’s not that nihil didn’t teach him to be respectful or kind to his partners but more so that nihil only really showed him the sexual side of relationships and never the work or romantic part of it so when he tried to seriously date people it didn’t go too well. The thing is though that at the beginning of the relationship when it was in a honeymoon-like phase he found that being around his partners and seeing how happy they looked when seeing him or how fulfilled and happy he felt when he could hold their hand or cuddle with them made him develop a craving for a serious romantic relationship and vulnerability with someone. Eventually all his relationships ended in disaster due to his inability to deal with harder times or strains on the relationship (plus a short temper to stressful situations) and eventually he gave up and just resorted to sexual relationships to dampen his loneliness. Bonus: he actually would’ve actually loved to have kids (either with a prime mover or a legitimate partner) but was terrified that they would hate him and he would end up being just as bad of a father as nihil was so decided against it.

Terzo: enjoys a good night out with some temporary partners but generally feels like he’s unloveable. It’s not that he doesn’t think his family or friends don’t love him but that if he opened his heart to someone they wouldn’t like what they saw. “He’s the most charming and charismatic one right? People would fall in love with that and not who he truly is, most people already do that anyway so what’s the point in trying?” He already puts up a mask in front of most people so to bring that down and be vulnerable to someone outside family is t e r r i f y i n g to him. He’s mainly worried about ending up loving someone and then losing them once they realize he’s not all that he’s chalked up to be. So in the end he has his reputation, his family, and his indulgences keeping him company.

Sad girl song: either The Night We Met by Lord Huron or All I Want by Kodaline

Copia: He���s open to a relationship with someone some day but is probably both the most jaded (and hopeful) out of his brothers that he’ll find the right person. He has undiagnosed autism due to the time period he was born in and the pressures of his job not allowing him to be/show himself as “different” in a way that might hinder him even though he it just does stuff a lil differently. Because he never learned about his condition and how it might affect how he acts in social situations and how to deal with that, he had a very hard time connecting with other kids his age (or even other adults later on for that matter). He was always seen as off-putting or strange for having unconventional interests (stuff like keeping rats or ballet and dance even though he’s a boy) and body language and sometimes speech. All of this put together meant that he had few to no friends for a long time and if kids asked him out it was as a joke or prank. Even as an adult, he’s never anybody’s first or even second pick for a date and unfortunately knows it. Over time, he learned what was making his body language seem so off and “corrects” most of it during social situations so he has more friends and more accepted now though his speech patterns can make him come off as awkward.
